"Isn't Paris beautiful at sunset?" Cat asks, standing next to me. "Beautiful, yes, but how many risks have you taken to make sure it stays beautiful?" Cat shrugs. "I don't know. Hundreds, probably. But I wouldn't want things any other way."

I sigh, guilt still lashing inside like a snake coiled and about to strike. "I thought I could create a better world for you, me, and Kagami. But all I did was create something evil out of anger. That's not a better world." Cat lays a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, Ladybug forgave you, and so did I. And now that your on the hero team, you make the world a better place every time we patrol." I smile my gentle cousin.

With patrol over, we head towards the bakery where the girls are yet, and the warm smell of chocolate fills the air when we walk inside. "Can you make the world a better place by making chocolate cake?" I hear a groan and Marinette comes out of the kitchen. "Adrien, I don't know who to keep a better eye on, you or Tikki. You two have such a sweet tooth." Adrien holds up his hands in mock defeat. "I admit, I have a weakness for the cookie jar."

Kagami follows Marinette a minute or two later, bringing the cake. "Hello, My Queen," I say, giving her a kiss after she puts the cake on the cooling rack. "How are you?" "Wary of two hungry cousins that would love to get into the cake."

"It will be cool soon," Marinette takes Adrien's hand, the one with the twin rings. Thank goodness he can control his life now, instead being controlled like a puppet on a string.

When the cake is eventually cool, Marinette serves us slices with glasses of milk, and we get a fit of giggles as we all soon are sporting milk mustaches.

With my cousin and the girls, the world is a better place, for we all keep each other safe.
