Disclaimer: Here we are everyone. The finale of Weed's story! Writing this story has been one hell of a ride, and I appreciate everyone who put in the effort to read it up to the end. I'm not sure when I'll start posting the chapters of Orion's story yet, but that one's gonna be a much more ambitious project. So I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. And with that out of the way, let us commence!

The Ginga Legend: Weed's Story

Super Canine arc Episode nine: Akita Prefecture

One week after Daisuke's arrival to the village, a lone apple was shown in a tree before Koyuki's dagger struck it by the stem at a perfect angle. Weed's paw was shown catching it as it fell to the ground. And after he did, the Akita looked to Koyuki with glee. "I'm getting it, Koyuki! That one was awesome!"

"It sure was!" Koyuki praised Weed as she ran up to him, embracing him as she assured him they would be okay. "This way, even if we stop getting the money we need to fund the village, we'll be all set for food."

"That tells me you'll be ready to teach our future kids how to do this too." Weed responded, nuzzling Koyuki while praising what would soon become good mother skills. "You're gonna be an amazing mother, even if we have to wait a long time to start having kids."

"And you're going to be just as amazing of a father." Koyuki said in response, and just then, Weed got a call and took his phone out to answer it. "Work?"

"Probably. I'll be as quick as I can." Weed assured Koyuki, who kissed his cheek as she went off to continue practicing her apple acquiring skills. Weed then answered the phone to see who was calling him. "Hello?"

A Belgian Shepherd in a construction worker uniform was revealed to be working on a house somewhere in the village as he answered. "Hey there, Weed; this is Donnie calling. I know you want the house to be two stories, but did you want us to go with the three bedroom plan, or four bedrooms?"

Weed thought for a moment and dashed up to Koyuki with a question. "We agreed on four bedrooms, right?" Koyuki nodded her head yes, allowing Weed to answer the call. "We wanted four bedrooms."

"Okay, good to know." Donnie replied, finding it fascinating that all of this was happening. "I know Gin is friends with that Daisuke fellow, but I can't help but be amazed at how we're able to afford the stuff to do all of this! Even with a good chunk of us having jobs now. I just hope things don't fall apart for us."

"Well, I don't know how the funding business works, but I'm sure Hiro can handle it." Weed said confidently, knowing that he was getting help with this too. "He's getting as much help as the rest of us in making our roles work."

Donnie approved the position of a window in place as he gave his response. "I don't doubt it. But if there's one thing I know about the stock market, it's that it's a loose cannon." Weed bit into the apple he caught before Donnie took it upon himself to end the call. "Anyway, I should get back to the house full time. Sorry I took up so much of your time, kid; I'm sure you're a busy puppy."

"I've always got time for my fellow Canines." Weed assured Donnie, allowing him to hang up as he then got back to Koyuki. "Now then. Where were we?" Or... at least he tried to. His phone rang again, and he chuckled a bit before answering it. "Wow, this phone does not want us to kiss. It's still pretty cool, though." Koyuki nodded in agreement to that with Weed then answering the phone. "Hello?"

Cross was shown on the other end, and she instantly got to telling Weed about the situation. "Weed! I need at least five air fresheners, stat! I should NOT have let Gin and GB do their contest in my house!"

Weed chuckled a bit before assuring Cross that he would get on it. "Don't worry, Cross. We'll be right over there." Weed hung up as he filled Koyuki in on the situation. "We gotta make a trip into town, sweetie. Cross needs some air fresheners."

"Works for me. Now I have an excuse to see how Mom's new coffee shop's coming along!" Weed and Koyuki started running to town at a good pace with Koyuki making a suggestion to Weed regarding his phone. "You should definitely get some caller ID on your phone. You won't have to ask who's calling all the time if you do."

"I just might take care of that after we do this." Weed replied, finding the appeal of knowing who was calling him to be quite satisfying.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...

...GB and Gin were having their long awaited fart off in Cross' cottage, and inside the living room, their vibrating butts were pointed out and shown as the eggy farts were expelled. Both of them were having a great time, but they proved it to be a good thing Cross hadn't started buying any plants yet. Weed and Koyuki were arriving at the house as Weed explained his plan. "I think I should head in there by myself. These are strong enough to handle any kind of odor, and I can handle those two the best."

"As long as my house smells good again, I don't care how you do it." Cross assured Weed, who made his way over to the house and opened up the door. He held his breath after breathing in outside to make sure he lasted. GB and Gin's farting was still ongoing with Gin reaching the last thirty seconds as Weed set up the air fresheners in every big room.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT

...Once Gin was done, he looked back at his butt and shook it a bit while congratulating GB. "Two hours. You have me beat, GB."

"And for once, I'm proud of it!" GB announced with glee, laughing as his vibrating butt was shown with him releasing the rest of the gas he had in him. However, it was clear that would take a bit of time...

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

Weed was discussing a currently in development delivery service with female Japanese Chin who now resides in the village. "And I think a Rhythm Specialist like you would be perfect for keeping track of all that stuff! Rhythmists are the best at keeping focus after all."

The Japanese Chin liked the idea of running her own delivery service. She was more than happy to take up the task. "I won't let you down, Weed!"

Weed smiled in response to that as Kyoshiro called to him from nearby. "Hey Weed!" Weed looked to see Kyoshiro dashing up to him with excitement. "When you have time, I'm making great progress with the battle arena!"

"I was just finishing up here. I should have plenty of time!" Weed said, and then he looked to the Japanese Chin to see if she'd be okay for now. "You think you can take development from here, Chris?"

"You've already trusted me with the project. I should know how to handle it on my own with that in mind." Crissa assured Weed, and that prompted Weed to give Kyoshiro a thumbs up and nod to show that he'd be on it. The two of them dashed off with Chris to work on the service herself. The more she thought about it, the more excited she got. "Ooh, we could have a fun slogan on the trucks! Maybe something like, 'Our Delivery Is Full Of Spirit!'! But maybe not something so on the nose about Spirit, since our village will partially run on that."

Weed and Kyoshiro were standing by a nearby house with Weed smiling at the progress Chris was making before Kyoshiro gestured him to hurry up. He did so along with Kyoshiro, and the two made their way to Kyoshiro's area for the battle dome. He was more than proud to show off how big it would be. "Weed, feast your eyes on this!"

Weed was impressed with how much space Kyoshiro was able to make for the arena. They may have had to take up a lot of land to make it happen, but it would be worth it for the revamping of Futago Pass. Plus, the Nature Specialists could always help out with the wildlife. When he got a look at the blueprints Kyoshiro had made, he was even more impressed. "This is incredible, Kyoshiro! All the fighters in the village will love this!"

"You'd better believe they will!" Kyoshiro exclaimed, going into detail on everything he had in mind for the arena. "We're gonna have a snack bar, stands for everyone who wants to watch up close, showers to help them freshen up before their match, it's gonna be so fucking awesome!"

"It sure looks like it will be." Weed added, glad that Kyoshiro was putting so much passion into his role of the revamping. "It means a lot that you're helping out in such a big way, Kyoshiro." He then expressed a bit of remorse as something else crossed his mind. "I'm just sorry you had to leave Shiga Prefecture to do so."

"Aw, don't sweat it, Weed. This place will be way better for me and my part of the army!" Kyoshiro assured Weed, and then he pointed over to the ones who were working on the arena, and some of them were his soldiers. That showed Weed how excited they all were to get this done. Kyoshiro then gave a request to Weed about something else. "By the way, Weed, I know you plan on making me a teacher at the school GB and Rocket are building. I wanna help the kids learn as much as you do, but I don't know a lot about math and science and shit, so..."

Weed giggled a bit before assuring Kyoshiro he would get a spot he was comfortable with. "Yes, Kyoshiro. You can be a Canine Spirit exclusive teacher. I have plenty of picks for the important stuff." Kyoshiro sighed of relief before Weed started thinking about the school. "Speaking of which, GB and Rocket should be working on it right now."

"Go find them then! I've got the arena covered." Kyoshiro assured Weed, and the two hi pawed before Weed dashed off to check on the school. Kyoshiro then got back to working on the arena as he caught an error from near his position. "Hey! Carlos! I already told you! That's beyond our length limit!"

GB and Rocket were working on the school together, finishing up one of the classrooms as Cross was bringing them some sandwiches and lemonade during their conversation. Rocket couldn't help being perplexed as to what he just heard from GB. "Two and a half hours?! How is that even possible?!"

"I stopped trying to figure it out a long time ago." GB admitted, and then he thanked Cross after she set their lunch down. "Thank you, Cross." Cross smiled in response as GB then held Rocket's paw lovingly. "And don't worry, I'd never force you into that kind of predicament."

"I wish you could say the same for my house." Cross snarked playfully before she headed back home. GB and Rocket chuckled bashfully before getting back to work on the school.

GB then started talking about the first thing he and Rocket would do once the town was finished. "Tanto said she'd opening up a coffee place in town. I was thinking we could try it out once it's done."

"That sounds lovely." Rocket said, being delighted to do anything so long as it was with GB. "I just hope we'll have something to talk about. There's not a lot going on with the village yet."

"I'm sure we'll work it out." GB assured Rocket, being confident that their relationship would last for a long time to come. That was when Weed arrived, and GB was more than happy when he noticed him. "Weed!"

"Hey guys." Weed went over to the two and shared a brief hug with GB. He then looked around at the classroom, being quite pleased with how much progress was made. The classroom GB and Rocket were painting together was almost done. "This classroom is looking great! You really wanna make this school into your own, don't you."

GB and Rocket finished painting the wall they were working on as GB expressed his passion for the school. "You'd better believe I do! Once it's finished, I can finally help kids as much as I want!" Rocket admired GB's love of helping children. It's something he loved about him ever since he saw how loyal he was to Weed. "Rocket and I already figured it out. I'd be a good pick for teaching the Speed Specialists how to use their Specialties. And Rocket would be perfect for helping the Natures!"

Weed loved those ideas, but started to wonder who would run the school if it weren't GB. "That reminds me, GB. Who's gonna run the school if you're teaching? Daisuke said every school needs a headmaster."

GB flinched before sipping some of his lemonade, and after he set it down, he gave Weed his answer with a concerned expression. "I have no idea!"

"Hey, it's okay. We'll find someone." Weed started thinking along with GB and Rocket, knowing there had to be someone who could look after the school. "Let's see. Kyoshiro's gonna be a Speed Specialist teacher too, so he'd have his paws full. Jerome's going for Combat Specialists. That reminds me; we also have to find someone who can teach the Conjuring Specialists."

Rocket had an idea he knew Weed and GB would be fond of. "Oh! What if we asked Gin? He has decades worth of leadership experience, so he'd be perfect for running a school."

"Haha! That's brilliant!" GB praised, showing his affection to Rocket by snuggling his face without a care in the world. "That wonderful mind of yours is just so appealing!"

Rocket laughed with a genuine smile to GB's affection as Weed expressed approval to Rocket's idea. "Dad would be a smart pick. And we also have Akame to take the role if he doesn't wanna do it."

Rocket started eating one of the sandwiches Cross provided as GB added something else. "If Gin takes the offer, let Akame know we could use a second Nature Specialist teacher. We don't want to shove them all into only having one class to choose from."

"I'll let them know as soon as I find them!" Weed declared, and then he made his way out of the classroom with a grin. "See ya later, GB! See ya later, Rocket!"

"See ya later, Weed!" GB and Rocket called out in sync, and then GB continued to snuggle Rocket, who embraced him as he ate his food. Thankfully, he and GB were right about to finish their wall, so they could focus on food and snuggling all they wanted in a bit.

Weed was talking to Gin about the idea of him running GB and Rocket's school, having given him time to process the idea. The two of them were training together somewhere near the village as they discussed the idea. "So you want me to look after that school GB and Rocket are making?" Gin managed to dodge Weed's kick, only for Weed to spin around, causing Gin to dodge it. "I guess I can handle a different form of leadership."

Weed grabbed Gin's punch and landed a swift kick on his jaw before backflipping and landing on the ground. "Rocket thought the same thing when he brought it up." Weed dashed at Gin, who dodged his dashing kick and aimed a roundhouse kick at him after doing so. Weed managed to block it, but skidded back because of the force Gin put into it.

Gin dashed at Weed and aimed several punches at him, which he dodged as Gin then readied a Spirit blast. "Gonna have to look up what they want me to do first. I don't know anything about school and all that."

Weed deflected Gin's punch and then got to aiming several strikes at him, which Gin also dodged. "You didn't go to school when you were a puppy?"

"Sadly, no. I was way too focused on taking down Akakabuto when I was your age. Had brutal training before that." Gin then grabbed Weed's punch and threw him towards a tree, which he jumped off of just as Gin launched his Spirit blast. Since the blast was fit for the power of a friendly sparring match, Weed kicked it into the air with ease. After doing so, Gin smiled as he thought about what school would've been like for him. "Maybe I would've enjoyed it. Probably not as much as the school we'll be making here, but I could see young me having a good time."

Weed clapped his paws together while moving them up and down (I don't know what that version of clapping called, I just see it in anime) as he expressed joy in Gin's decision. "This might give you a chance to show you what it's like then!"

Gin nodded in agreement before walking up to Weed, putting a paw on his shoulder with an idea in mind. "Speaking of Canine Spirit, Weed... I have a special technique I want to teach you."

Weed rolled his eyes while smiling, figuring Gin was about to pull the same prank on him he did back in Shiga Prefecture. "I'm not falling for that one again, dad. Come on."

"I'm serious this time." Gin assured Weed, knowing this would be a helpful technique for him to learn. "It's a Flying Spirit ability. You might find it useful."

Weed decided to bite and allow Gin to show him this new technique. He just hoped he was being serious this time. "Okay then. Show me." Gin immediately did so by dashing over to some nearby rocks. After dashing up from them, he started flying over their exact spot and formed up some Spirit energy. He then sent it down to the rocks and had them start flying around him as a barrier. Weed loved the sight of this and dashed over to Gin with enthusiasm. "That IS useful! Can you use it for offense too? Oh, and how big can the shield be?"

"You can go for the offensive, yes. You just have to make sure the objects you're using have a target to lock onto." Gin answered to Weed's first question. He then answered his second question. "The shield can be as big as you want! Especially if you use the right materials."

Weed wanted to give that a try himself, spotting some nearby rocks and focusing his Spirit energy. He set his sights on the rocks and sent his Spirit energy towards them. It was a direct hit, but the rocks didn't fly up to Weed as fast as he expected. They did fly over to him, but they were a lot slower than Gin's. Weed flew over to them to speed up the process, which was when they started flying around him. Gin flew over to him with the rocks surrounding him and spoke up. "Well, it's a start."

Weed decided to try something and sent the rocks towards Gin; and while the rocks did connect, they did little to nothing to Gin's shield. Weed saw that he still had a long ways to go in terms of mastering some of these abilities. "Guess I've got something to work on while I help build the village." Gin put his paw through the barrier and fist bumped Weed, who accepted it, appreciating the new move Gin taught him.

After Weed and Gin's training, Weed was hanging out with Kotetsu and Mel, the former of whom was showing off a new Rhythm Spirit ability he learned during their nature hike. During a part where they had to cross the a path of singular tall rocks to reach the top of the mountain, Kotetsu went in a rhythmic way to the Spirit orbs he spawned up there for extra show. They created a musical tone, and some of the rocks he passed were at a faster pace than others. It was definitely an ability used for fun, but it still made Weed smile, and it certainly entertained Mel.

As the three pups continued up the last part of the mountain, Weed pointed out how Kotetsu's ability wouldn't really help in battle. "That seems more like an ability that would help for a birthday party or something."

"Then let me know if you and Koyuki ever have puppies." Kotetsu offered Weed, and he took a liking to how that sounded.

Mel was the first to see the view, pointing to it as he looked back at Weed and Kotetsu. "Weed, Kotetsu, look! It's super pretty!"

"I bet. That's why we came up here." Kotetsu pointed out, and then he and Weed joined Mel at the cliff. They looked over it and saw a beautiful view of the village. The three sat together as they let the view sink in. They allowed the sun to soak them in light as they gazed at everything in the village from their position. Kyoshiro's battle dome, the house Weed was having built for him, the school GB and Rocket were building, it was all viewable from that lookout. And the three puppies were loving it. They almost couldn't believe this would be their new home.

Kotetsu started thinking about something else the Ohu army could do with how the mountain was designed. "I just thought of something, Weed! You know how this mountain has a super wide front, and is close to the village?"

Weed looked down at the front of the mountain, wondering what Kotetsu was getting at. "Yeah, you're right. Did you wanna use that for something?"

"Yeah! If we get enough Conjuring Specialists or skilled rock artists on board, we could start using the mountain to make faces of every leader Ohu's ever had!" Kotetsu told Weed excitedly, and then he added something else to finish that off with. "Except for Hougen of course. Fuck him."

That sounded like a really good idea to Weed. It would be a great way to honor the leaders Ohu's had before, as well as himself. "That would help everyone remember who helped found every generation of the Ohu army." Weed started to like the idea more and more as he thought about what it could bring for everyone. "And seeing them could remind them of the value of hard work!"

Mel's voice was heard from where Weed and Kotetsu were considering putting the faces. "Where should we start!?" Weed and Kotetsu looked over to where Mel was as he started picturing where they could put the first leader. "Left to right, or right to left!?" Weed and Kotetsu smiled to each other before nodding, flying down to Mel to figure out what to do together. The three of them knew it'd take a lot of work to get done. But that's what the Ohu army was all about.

Later that night, Weed and Koyuki were sleeping together under the stars, since their roof wasn't finished yet. Thankfully, their bed was, and it was very comfortable for them. And looking up at the stars gave Weed an idea for how they could do for their house. "Ya know, before they're finished with the house, we could talk to the construction workers about adding a roof we can walk on. That way, we can look up at the stars like we are now before going to bed, even after the roof comes up."

"I was thinking the exact same thing!" Koyuki replied, imagining how great it would be to have a roof like that. They still had a lot of their lives ahead of them, but they couldn't help thinking about how it would end up being when they were adults. And even though they weren't quite planning for their wedding just yet, Koyuki did have another idea in mind for this type of roof. "You think you'd be open to having house parties? A stand on roof would be great for that."

Weed thought for a moment, having to admit that some parties would be great for the roof. "Parties could be fun, but we'd have to prepare for them."

"For sure." Koyuki said, glad that she and Weed were on the same page. "I think it would be worth the trouble."

Koyuki continued to snuggle with Weed, who started talking about how great this village was going to be by the time it was complete. "This village is gonna be amazing, Koyuki. Everywhere from our house, to the school, to those massive statues we'll be making of the leader's faces... it's gonna represent Ohu in the best ways possible." Weed continued looking at the stars as he thought of an example. "We'll be like the stars in the sky. Always looking out for other Canines the best we can, and doing everything we can to take down the ones who can't be saved."

Koyuki loved the sound of that, hoping she could join in for some of those moments too. "I hope you plan to include me in some of your adventures moving forward."

"Of course! No one should be left to fend for the house ALL the time." Weed assured Koyuki, and then he clarified what he meant to avoid implying anything sexist. "Assuming you're okay with being a housewife when we're adults. If not, I totally understand. Your life is yours to run."

Koyuki kissed Weed's lips, showing that she understood where he was coming from. "Just like how everyone else's lives are theirs to run." Weed smiled as something else then crossed Koyuki's mind regarding the village. "Hey, something just crossed my mind. We haven't decided on a name for the village yet."

"I already thought of one." Weed revealed, explaining why he didn't reveal it yet afterwards. "I decided to wait until we got what we needed for the big front door for the front of the village."

"Let me guess. You want a sign in front of that telling people the name of the village." Weed nodded his head yes to Koyuki noticing an obvious safety hazard with that. "I hope you know what you're doing with that. A sign could confirm to any evil Canine groups where we all are."

Weed considered Koyuki's point for a bit before showing confidence in the Ohu army. "That might happen. But it would also help dogs who want help from the Ohu Army to know where to go too. Besides. I think we can handle whatever comes at us." Koyuki couldn't help smiling at how confident Weed was in the Ohu army. Every day, he was ready to show that he was more than deserving of being their leader.

Three days later.

Weed, GB, and Jerome were waiting at the front of the village, which now had part of a wall surrounding it with pillars and an entrance door, as Jerome was training briefly with a pup. This pup was punching Jerome's paws with all of his might, impressing Jerome with how strong he was at a young age. "Nice force, kid. You've got a good future ahead of you."

The puppy smiled at Jerome's praise just as all of the Ohu army heard Daisuke calling over to them. "We're back, everyone!"

Gin, Tanto, and Akame were revealed to be in Daisuke's truck, and they all got out to see the new village. Gin and Tanto hugged their children upon dashing over to them as Gin explained their absence. "Sorry we're late to the show. That poker game took longer than we thought."

Weed pulled Gin away as he explained a positive to their timing. "It all worked out. The fact that it took so long gave us even more time to prepare." Weed pointed up to the covered up sign, which held the name Weed decided on for the village. "And even though we don't have a lot of stuff finished in the village just yet, everyone was more than excited to learn the village's new name."

Gin was glad to hear that, looking at the army as he pointed out their love for the village. "Looks like they're as passionate about the village as you then." The soldiers nodded in agreement, showing that they all saw this village as a virtue. Gin was more than happy to see this, assuring Weed that he had a strong future as the leader. "That's gonna help you a lot in the long run, Weed. You've really made an impact on these people." Weed smiled in response as Gin then directed him towards the sign. "Now let's reveal that damn sign to our new villagers!"

Weed happily dashed over to the ladder that would reveal the sign, and he flew up to it with GB flying to the other end. After he and GB were in their positions, Weed started speaking up to the villagers. "These past eight months have been the most eventful times of my life. And you all have my thanks for helping that time end with a victory for everyone working to protect Ohu." The Canines all smiled at Weed's kind words. "But this isn't the end of my time helping the Tohoku Region."

GB smiled to Weed, who nodded to him, allowing him to say the next part of the speech. "As all of you know by now, Weed's been putting as much work as he can into making our new home as great as it can be. From small businesses to expanding the army's chance at being strong for protection, he's been helping wherever he can!"

Weed smiled down to Gin, who gave him a proud smile before the Akita puppy continued. "I wasn't sure how I could handle being the new Ohu leader at first. And I can't express enough, how much gratitude to each and every one of you. You all helped me believe that I could do it. That I could be the leader we needed to defeat Hougen." Weed looked back on everything he's gone through, from the start of his journey to now. "That's why, I made this village for the dogs of Ohu. A safe haven for dogs, and the home of the army that protects the Tohoku Region."

Weed started flashing back to every moment he had since the start of his journey. First, his mother's death, which started his journey. Then, Blue's death, which showed him that some people can change for the better. Then, meeting Jerome and using Canine Spirit to fight Kaibutsu. After that, he met Tanto, and later Gin. Then he met Kyoshiro, who sparred with him, and then he helped protect his village. After that, Weed started training in the Zokaken.

After starting Zokaken training, he started training for the Zetsu Tenrou Battouga from Tesshin, and then used it to defend his friends at the hot springs. That was followed up by him exiling Jerome, which despite its intensity, led to him learning Zokaken later when he protected GB from Kamakiri. Then, he fought Genba to defend Koyuki. Then, he helped everyone mourn John's death, and then had his big talk with GB. After that was when he reconciled with Jerome. Then, there was the final battle against Hougen. The moment he named his technique and saved the region.

After his flashbacks were finished, Weed and GB grabbed the cloth covering up the sign together. With that, Weed started announcing the new name of the village. "After all we've been through together, I think it's time we give to you, the name of our village." On command, Weed and GB revealed a big sign right above the front door to the village. Weed happily announced the name that was on the sign to everyone in the crowd. "Everyone... this, is our new home! Akita Prefecture!"

All of the dogs cheered for Weed, and as they did, GB dashed up to Weed and hugged him. Weed happily embraced his Godfather, being as happy as could be about how things turned out. He then looked past GB and saw Koyuki giving him a loving smile. He gave one back, happy to get the chance to grow a future with Koyuki. Weed then continued to embrace GB, the two of them knowing their bond would pull through until the end of time. The sign that said Akita Prefecture wa shown in all its glory, establishing itself as the new haven for the dogs of Ohu.

Twenty five years later.

In Weed and Koyuki's backyard, the fists of two Akita puppies collided fiercely. The two puppies were revealed to be a red furred Akita, and a blue furred one, who exchanged fast and strong blows. The one with red fur was Orion. He was eleven years old, and was a brash, impatient, and tenacious pup. He was also a Speed Specialist, which also meant he was protective and impulsive. The one with Blue fur was Sirius. He was was thirteen years old, and was much like Weed, friendly, caring, and appreciative of life. Being a combat specialist, he was also courageous and determined.

The two of them showed incredible skill, both in their own Specialties, and the other's Specialty. After kicking Sirius back, Orion started charging up a red Spirit blast, sending it towards Sirius, who teleported behind Orion after it almost hit him. However, when it turned around and went towards Sirius again, Sirius realized it was a lock on blast. Orion dashed before Sirius could grab him, causing him to grab the blast. That was when Orion punched the blast at super high speeds.

The blast exploded, sending Sirius back, before Orion dashed at him again. Sirius vanished again, and when Orion turned around to spin kick him, Sirius blocked it, as well as his other three strikes. He then kicked Orion into a tree in the backyard before dashing at him, causing Orion to vanish as well. Sirius looked up to find Orion in the air charging a Spirit blast, and charged one himself, both of them launching their Spirit blasts at the same time. This caused them to collide, and then they dashed at each other and went back to colliding their blows.

Orion landed a strong punch on Sirius' face, and Sirius then counter attacked by kicking his side. While Orion was able to block Sirius' next punch, and his knee, Sirius then used the force of the block to land an frontflip spin kick on his jaw. After landing that strike, Sirius dashed up and ground pounded Orion towards the ground. Orion was about to get back up, but Sirius vanished right over to him and pinned him down with his hind paw. As soon as he did, he held a Spirit blast up to his paw with a smile.

Sirius saw this as the end of the sparring match. But Orion refused to stop, swatting Sirius' paw away and making him launch the blast at one of the trees. It wasn't very strong since Sirius didn't plan to fire, but it was still enough to make a dent in the tree. Orion then demanded they continue the match, despite it being clear from Sirius' last move that he won. "I can still fight, damn it! Let me up so I can kick your ass!"

Sirius grabbed Orion's paw and helped him up, declaring the match to be over, much to Orion's anger. "You know the rules, Orion. If I was going all out, I would've ended the battle then and there."

"So you win the stupid sparring match, yeah yeah; I know." Orion said, and then he made it clear that next time, he was gonna make sure he won. "I'm gonna win next time, though! Just you watch!"

On the porch of the backyard was a pink furred Akita named Bella (I know it's blue in the manga; please don't point it out), singing to herself while typing on her laptop. "Brothers gonna fight to see who's the best. Even though Bella knows they outclass all the rest." At six years old, she's a quirky, curious, and cheerful pup. She was also a tech whizz with a higher IQ than most. She hadn't discovered her Spirit Specialty yet, but her family thinks she'll be a Flying Specialist.

When Orion and Sirius went over to Bella, Sirius inquired about her laptop time. "You enjoying yourself there, Bella?"

Bella nodded her head yes, leaving Orion to speak up about their match. "Alright, sis, don't bullshit me. What's the tally now?"

"Bella just finished updating it." Bella answered, showing the brothers a tally that showed how they did in ranking in their sparring matches. Bella then gave an analysis on what Orion needed to do to improve. "Bella can see that you beat Sirius at speed and conjuring, Orion. But you still need to surpass him in the other categories."

"Yeah, no fucking shit; that's why I train my ass off every god damn chance I get." Orion reminded Bella rudely, proving himself to be quite the potty mouth.

"Calm down, Orion. She's just giving you an analysis." Sirius reminded Orion, even though Bella wasn't offended by his tone. Sirius then addressed one thought Orion had on his mind regarding their sparring matches. "Ya know, beating me on its own isn't going to convince dad to make you leader."

"No, but it's the biggest starting point I can think of." Orion stated, and then he crossed his arms while continuing to show jealousy towards his brother. "It must be nice getting to skip the part of actually TRYING to be good."

Sirius sighed as he thought about the bad side of him being a Spirit prodigy. This was both a blessing, and a curse. Just then another Akita puppy, this one with black fur, opened up the window and jumped down to jump into the backyard. This was Rigel, the eight year old son of Weed and Koyuki, and Orion's second brother. He was a mischievous pup who loved a good prank, and was frequently clowning around and playing instead of focusing on school. The way he spoke showed that he was close with Orion, who had a bit of mischief in him too. "You were close this time!"

"I was, but close isn't gonna be good enough." Orion admitted, putting in some hardcore thinking for how he could get stronger more quickly. "I should call Andy and see if he can get me an extra hour in the school's training room. I still wanna take a crack at fifty tons for weight training."

As he did that, a now thirty five year old Koyuki opened the window and called the four puppies in for their afternoon meal. "Kids, it's lunchtime! Come and get it!"

"Lunchtime!" Bella exclaimed as she headed inside, along with a goofy style of walking as she did. After she did, she started putting a green bib on before sitting down. "Green bibs are cool! Gotta wear them at the table."

Weed, who was now thirty five years old himself, sat at the table as he watched his children come over to eat. It was definitely a handful raising four children, but he loved them and Koyuki more than anything. Koyuki expressed this by kissing his cheek after serving his food. "So, how's my lovely husband enjoying his day off?"

"It's as amazing as I could've hoped." Weed said lovingly, glad everything he did in the past worked out.

Weed then started narrating over the scene as everyone started eating the cheeseburgers that were for lunch. Orion ate the one with the most on it, and Bella ate the sloppiest, as expected. 'So there you have it. That's the story of how I became the leader of Ohu, and founded Akita Prefecture. It wasn't an easy journey by any means. But if I learned anything, it's that with hard work and determination, you can accomplish anything. I hope to help others learn to appreciate life for as long as I'm around.'

Weed smiled as he picked up his cheeseburger and got ready to take his first bite. 'Of course... this is only the prologue of the story.' Weed took his first bite, and the screen showed this sentence alongside the image of Weed eating with his family.

Next time, the start of the main story: The Ginga Legend: Orion's Story.
