Chapter 2: Rescue

Four moons before Jon's resurrection

'Damn, these fucking Boltons to the seven hells for what they had done to this place. To people, and hearing the damn cries of that girl. Arya Stark, the half-sister of his nephew, arrived to his dismay after the wedding. He still regrets not being able to prevent the wedding from taking place.' He thought as he waited outside, the door waiting for Theon Greyjoy to arrive. The man had been broken, but the thought of redemption seemed to have brought back glimpses of the boy he had seen during Robert's feast.

The tumbling walk of the man announces him. "All his set. We can leave now. The Freys and the Manderlys are moving out to attack Stannis." He said in a low voice into the man receiving a node.

As they had planned, the squid distracted the guard at Lady Arya's door. In a quick motion, he drew his knife, clamping his hand around the man's mouth and slitting the man's throat. The trashed, but it was done, mostly without sound. The squid opened the door, and he dragged the death guardsman inside.

The two wilding women were servants of the Lady and had already prepared her. The girl was scared, and he smiled in Winterfell. The girl was now taller than she had been, yet the joy she held then was gone. "My Lady, I'm your brother's Uncle. I'm here to take you away from here and bring you to him." Her eyes went big, and there were small gaps behind him from the squid.

"Thank you," the girl said in a small voice before he helped her up from the bed. He took the guard's cloak and helmet and escorted them all outside. The castle was busy with activity as they walked across the wall. One of the things he had admired about Winterfell and what he now hated was the second moat between the second and first walls. They had to cross on one of the rope bridges. The guards were used for easy access and could be cut easily if an enemy had crossed the

"Theon, now you are again speaking to the guards. Show the women and tell what we spoke about." The squid nodded and walked to the guards. The women who had tended to Lady Arya walked up behind the man. He kept standing beside Arya, who shivered from either the freezing cold or fear, probably both.

He saw three other women arriving on the other side of the cross-bridge. Good, they had also made it. They walked on the showing, their breast, and happily took the bate. Not much later, the guards in front of them were also distracted. Then, when all the men were occupied, they struck, and not much later, four guards were dropped into moat blow, their bodies cracking on the ice-covered moat below.

The horn he had been worried about sounded as they crossed the bridge. "We will have to jump. We don't have the time to use the ropes." The group stared at him as if he had gone mad. Well, perhaps he was the walls of Winterfell, around 25 meters in height. So he understood their reaction. "It will be alright, the damn snow below it serval meters high. It will break our fall, or either way, it is quicker death than being flayed alive. I think Lord Greyjow can agree." The man looked wide-eyed and gave them a fearful full node.

"My Lady," He said as help the trembling girl up the parapets of the walls. "On my go, we jump." He said, and the Lady nodded. "Alright now," He said, and they jumped.
