Flying high in the sky was a carrier plane making its way to Los Angeles as quickly as possible.

"Faster, I want to be there within five minutes," said a voice to the pilot.

"I'm trying, but it's not like I'm Hawks or Cottontail," said the pilot, pushing the plane as much as he could. "I'm pushing this thing to the brink already. You shouldn't even be standing there. We are happy that you back an appeal, but you're still recovering."

He then turned and looked at his passenger, who was none other than Best Jeanist.

"Don't change the subject," he said. "What matters is that countless lives are being unravelled as we speak."

"Please take care of yourself too."

Night Fury had just lost consciousness and fell to the ground, but Hookfang took to the engram before he hit the ground while still carrying everyone else.

He'd already been struggling with the way he was carrying, but Night Fury caused the crash land.

"Forge! Hiccup! Hellfire!" said Glacier, rushing over to them.

"Gobber?" said Night Fury weakly.

"He's still alive," said Glacier as Forge took several deep breaths. "Stay calm, and I'll pack you up."

"I'm not sure we have time for that," said Hookfang as he saw movement behind them.

Everyone looked up and saw Krogan floating above them. He was now being extended by several spikes that were shooting out from his fingers.

"No, Krogan," he said in his duelled voice. "You must leave, but don't do this."

"Shut up!" Korgan spat. "I don't take orders from you."

He was then struck by an energy blast and hit the ground.

"Found them!" said Surge.

Speedy then arrived seconds later. "A gigantic villain is heading this way. We have already informed the villains fighting Red Deaths nearby."

"You're here to Speedy?" Manual stared.

"Get Hiccup and the others to safety," Glacier ordered.

Speedy just started everyone's wounds. "This is… no wonder you guys never returned."

Surge looked at Scarlet, was barely able to stand, and saw that her arms were now covered in ice.

Night Fury attempted to stand, but he was too wounded. "I need to stay here… I can't leave. Krogan, once my power… he'll follow me if I run off. Speedfist, you need to take Forge and Hellfire."

"He is not healing as fast as he was," Glacier noticed. "He must be weakening."

"Then this is a perfect opportunity to take him out once and for all," said Hookfang.

"Agreed," said Glacier and looked up at Surge. "Ase, help us, and let's put pressure on him."

"Got it," said Surge.

Krogan was getting back up, and more spikes began to appear, this time from his back.

"More maggots," said Krogan. "Keep wiggling to the surface…"

Meanwhile, Valkyrie was facing Turid in the abandoned house, and she was more than a little furious with her.

"I'm going to bring you in," she said. 'I need to be careful; if she steals my blood, it will just add to the confusion. I can't take too long. There are still people to evacuate. What do I do?'

"Astrid, when I think about someone I love, it makes me want to become that person," said Turid. "To live inside of their skin. I want to drain the blood so badly that it makes my chest hurt; that's just who I am. I can't help it."

Astrid came charging in, swinging her sword, and Turid quickly moved in.

"But not everyone is like that," Turid continued, dodging her swing. She then drew her knife and swung it at her. "It's so tough being me!"

Valkyrie quickly backed away, colliding with the door.

"The other day, there was this meanie reporter who called me a poor lost child and tried to kill me because my cravings were normal," she said. "That's why I used Fishlegs' blood and his power to drop her and her friends from way, way up high."

Valkyrie looked at her, horrified; she could only imagine how Fishlegs would feel if someone used his powers like that.

"It turns out if I love the person, I could become them and use their power," said Turid joyously. "You have no idea how happy that makes me…"

"Stop it!" Valkyrie yelled and launched several cables from her fingertips at her.

Turid quickly jumped out of the way and avoided the cables. She swung her syringes at her, but Valkyrie quickly created a shield and blocked the attack.

"You're happy?" said Valkyrie, looking at her disgustedly. "Fishlegs would never feel good about hurting another person. What are you even trying to get at?"

Turid looked down and noticed Astrid's gauntlet on the floor, the same one Hiccup had given her on her birthday. It must've fallen off during the scuffle earlier, but now Turid had picked it up.

"What's this?" she said.

Valkyrie's eyes widened.

"You must have dropped it, friend," said Turid as she examined it.

"You get that back!" Valkyrie demanded and tried to swipe it from her.

Turid quickly backed away. "Something precious?"

"Give it back!" Valkyrie yelled.

"Gruffnut was precious to me, too," said Turid sadly. "Like a brother. You know we're the same, you and me? Because I'm pretty sure that you've got a massive crush on Hiccup, too. Wait a minute, did he make this for you? Ah, so we really are twines."

'I can't spend any more time on her,' said Valkyrie as she readied herself. 'If I attack head-on on shield dodge so, I've got to do the unexpected.'

She then held out her hand and created a smoke bomb, which he quickly tossed to the ground, creating a smokescreen.

"I can't see her now," said Turid, dropping Astrid's gauntlet.

'Focus, I have to shut out every feeling,' said Valkyrie.

She quickly launched out of the smoke and fired several cables, but Turid dodged them.

"Great, neither of us have to hold back any more," said Turid as she danced around the cables. "When I was little, everyone said that I had to change, but that didn't help at all. Ignoring your urges makes them worse."

"Enough!" Valkyrie yelled as she continued swinging her cables at a much faster rate. "Threaten people so that you can do whatever you want, then you deserve whatever is coming to you."

Tears then began to form in Turid's eyes, and she nodded. "There's my answer."

Valkyrie was rather taken aback when she saw the tears.

"Thanks for the chat," said Turid as she drew her knives. "Goodbye."

Then suddenly, a powerful gust of wind blew her knives right out of her hands. Everyone turned to see that Windshear had just arrived.

"Windshear!" Valkyrie beamed.

"Why in the world is Turid Bladedotter here?" Windshear asked.

"Heather," said Turid.

"Unlike last time we met, I can now fight you with everything I've got," said Winshear as she raised her fists.

They then suddenly heard her giant footsteps, and everything began to shake. The bookshelves within were suddenly knocked over, and the two girls had to take their eyes off Turid for a brief moment. When they looked back up, they saw that she had disappeared without a trace.

"It's a snake attack," said Windshear. "Back to back, we'll cover each other."

"Don't worry," said Valkyrie as she picked up her gauntlet. "She ran away." She then turned her eyes to the place where Turid once stood. "Those were tears."

Turid had indeed used this opportunity to run away and was now running across the rooftops as Giganton crashed through building after building, making his way into the ruins of the hospital.

'Astrid, the girl that I share a crash with,' she said. 'I thought maybe we could bond over romantic stuff, but… I'm coming back home. I'm not confused any more.'

Back at the hospital ruins, Hookfang, Glacier and Surge moved in to finish Krogan off.

"Master!" Giganton roared as he burst through the last of the buildings.

Everyone's eyes widened as he began running across the room and battlefield; he would be on top of them in less than 30 seconds.

Drago was in control of Krogan's body and smiled upon seeing him. 'Ah, perfect timing, Giganton. Between the blows dealt by Hiccup Haddock and Hellfire's nova blast, Krogan's body could fail at any moment, I'm afraid, which is why rivet stab is expanding through his spinal cord. Its auto-tracking should reduce the burden on his mind and body. What a precarious situation we find ourselves in. We must give Giganton the order to retreat.'

Unfortunately, the young heroes were not going to let that happen and quickly jumped straight at him.

'We can't fight that behemoth and Krogan at the same time,' said Glacier as he began charging his ice. 'Best to take the injured one off the board first.'

Hookfang then began charging his hand with flames. 'We have to take this guy out with everything we've got.'

Drago could see that they were in trouble. 'What fearsome powers they have. Energy projection, fire and ice manipulation. This body is crumbling, and they aren't letting up.'

Surge didn't hold anything back and unleashed a powerful strength, while Hookfang and Glacier unleashed a powerful combination of fire and ice. Krogan cried out in pain as all three attacks hit him with incredible force.

"Incoming!" Hellfire yelled.

Giganton then swung his massive core, knocking all three of them back.

"Oh no," said Speedy as he picked up Forge. "Ase! Snotlout! Ranger!"

"You have to put me down," said Forge.

"I can't. Your organs were punctured!" said Speedy.

"I can still stand, and we'll need everyone for this battle," said Forge.

Giganton then reverted back to normal as he held Krogan in his massive hand.

"Master," he panted, sounding exhausted. He then looked down at Krogan. "I'm here. What is your next order? I will do as you command."

Krogan, however, was unconscious; the last few attacks had completely drained him. Spinner climbed on top of Giganton's shoulder and looked down at him, shocked.

"Krogan, what happened?" he asked. "You look terrible."

Hellfire had managed to grab Night Fury and got him to safety. He then landed next to both Glacier and Snotlout.

"Hookfang, Glacier, you two good?" he asked, exhausted.

"Yeah!" said Glacier.

"You think a little tap like that is going to knock me down?" Hookfang smiled.

Hellfire looked at Gigaton. 'Sorry, Hawks, it's my fault this guy started moving. I must defeat him no matter what horrors that he might be capable of. But one of my lungs collapsed; I'm not sure I can damage him much with everything. Every breath I take is Hell.'

He then remembered what he told everyone at the Hero Billboard Chart and then rose to his feet.

'I can't give up. I promise them that as this country's top hero, I have to keep fighting.'

"Hey, there you are," said Diablo as he walked out into the open. "From way up here, everyone looks like tiny little ants. Ah, Snotlout is with you, perfect."

'He brought the League?' Hellfire stared. He then glared straight at him. "Diablo."

"Hey, now," said Diablo, smiling. "Don't be rude; you're acting like we never met. Call me Scorchlout. After all, it's the name you when mom gave me."

At the exact same time, Sceptic uploaded a video to every screen in the United States, interrupting several broadcasts.

"Our live coverage continues as a giant villain… we're having technical issues… new reports suggest that the radio interference in Los Angeles is getting worse. Our correspondence can't say exactly what…"

The news broadcast then cut out an image of Diablo sitting bare-chested on a chair. Everyone could see that patchwork of burnt flesh all over his body.

"Sorry to interrupt," he said. "My name is Scorchlout Jorgenson; the number one hero is my father."

That announcement sent shockwaves across the country, but none were more surprised than his family.

Hellfire, in particular, just stared at him, stunned.

"Yeah, I know," said Diablo, looking down at his dazed expression. "My face is pretty disgusting now, but it's still surprising that my own family didn't recognise me. It's honestly kind of crappy, or maybe it's just depressing, you know."

Night Fury had regained consciousness, and he would stand as he looked into his cousin's face.

'Wait… he's…' Night Fury stared.

"Yes, the so-called villain sitting in front of you is Hellfire's oldest son," said Diablo's recording. "At the time of this recording, I've killed more than 30 innocent people. Are you confused? Let me just explain how I turned out like this. I'll start at the beginning.

"Hellfire has always obsessively earned for power; much to his despair, he could never surpass his own brother-in-law, Skullcrusher, on his own. So he married my mother, Skullcrusher's younger sister, in an attempt to create an air with the perfect power. I was breed from my father's selfish dream, but it didn't matter. I was a failure. It wasn't long before he gave up on me, and I was cast aside and forgotten."

Diablo looked down at his family. "I didn't forget my family. I've been watching you from the shadows this entire time. You know, out of everyone in the world, you should be beyond approach number one, so a pre-recorded video of my life story is currently streaming on every device in the country."

"What an unexpected twist," said Sceptic.

"Hiccup, I'm still trying to get communications back online, but I can confirm that he's broadcasting his recording," said Toothless.

"Oh man, I didn't expect this," said Diablo with a crazed smile. "I'm starting to have fun. I wondered how I could make you suffer. How could I ruin your life? Ever since I burnt up, it was all I thought about. As a kid, I didn't know why I existed. I would cling to Scaldlout, rolling my eyes out, but you didn't know that, did you?"

"At first, when I realised your little puppet Snotlout was complete, I figured I'd kill him. But then you unexpectedly became the number one hero. Who would have guessed, huh? I was certainly so invested in your happiness. Can you believe in Atlanta? I was actually afraid you were going to die. I led Starserver and Ending to your doorstep. Did they make you feel like a big shot? It must have been a heavy burden to achieve your dream after so long, but you are sued by public admiration, aren't you?

"Is that why you finally decided to try and bond with your children? Just keep looking towards the future so that you can become a better man. What?! Nothing to say? Well, allow me! The past never dies. You will reap everything that you have sown, Spitelout Jorgenson. Let's fall together! Come and dance with me in Hell, won't you? Well, speak up, Dad!"

Hellfire just stared at him in shock as he began to remember that fateful day.

"On a cold and windy day, the air was dry," he said. "Scorch and I often trained in the mountains; that's where he was consumed by fire. The flames raged over 2000°C. We were told that his bones must have turned to ash scattered far and wide in the updraught. Nobody was found; we only recovered a small fragment of his jawbone."

He then began to remember when Scorchlout was a child, and he began teaching him how to harness its flames.

"Check this out, Dad," said Scorchlout, and his hand burst into flames. "Can you teach me an ultimate move?"

'I could see that Scorch's firepower held greater potential than my own, but he lacked my wife's ability to store energy. This posed a problem since he couldn't stop himself from overheating, but despite that, I wanted to raise him to be a hero. At the same time, I continue to hope for a child who cannot only expel fire but also can store them inside their body. My wife also wanted Scorch to have siblings as well, that's how our family grew.

Adelaide only had my Luna's power to store energy and never Jorgenson, who was in my ideal. Though at the time, I was fine. Scorch continued to show more raw talent than I ever had, so I placed my hopes and ambitions on his shoulders.'

"Argh! Too hot!" Scorchlout winced, and Spitelout could see that his arm was slightly burnt.

"I was certain that you could find the success that I always wanted. My frustration and jealousy, my disgrace, I thought you could smash every one of my failures and be the best of the best.'

Hellfire still found a hard time believing that Diablo was, in fact, his son, who he assumed to be long dead.

"My son is dead," he said, breaking his silence at last. "These are disgusting lies."

"Oh, I'm very much alive," Diablo smiled at his anguish. "You're just a broken man who refuses to accept the truth. How can you not recognise your child? Is it because pyrokinesis is so common that there's nothing so special about someone who has one?"

"Whoa, Diablo," said Compress stunned. "I had no idea."

"Yeah, I wonder what he's playing out here," said Spinner. "He hid this from us, too? What for?" He then turned his eyes to Krogan, who was still out cold. "Come on, boss, you've got to wake up. We're here. Giganton needs orders. Pull it together."

Compress looked up at Diablo. "Our little troop has dramatic lineages."

"If you doubt me, I'll happily give you some blood or a chunk of skin," Diablo offered. "You can do a DNA test. Obviously, I've already done one, and I have released the results to the public."

The recording was still going on, and now, the recording of Diablo showed the test results to the public.

"This here is an official maternity test," he said. "I used the blood that Hellfire left in Atlanta as a sample. There is a 99.99% that matches my father. You might think that I fabricated this, but all I can do is say what I know to be true. Hellfire continued to have my mother have kids. Their fourth child is one you probably know. With Snotlout, he finally found his hybrid.

Not that it stopped my father from abusing the child. I saw it over and over again. Hellfire is not a man that cares about other people's well-being. He is self-righteous and weak-willed, consumed by ego, and he drilled that into his son. Now, do you really believe that someone like that has the right to call themselves a hero?"

Hellfire's fan from Atlanta was watching the video in shock with a friend who resembled a shark.

"It's not true," he said. "No one would believe a stunt like this. These lies will not make us lose faith in number one. Does this bag I think we're stupid or something?"

"Those working with Hellfire are just as bad," Diablo continued.

Then, suddenly appearing on the screen was an image of Hawks stabbing Twice in the back.

"Take the number two pro, Hawks; he didn't hesitate to drive his blade into the back of a despondent opponent. Hawks murdered my friend right in front of me."

Sceptic looked at Diablo as he finished uploading his video. "It was hastily edited, but the end result was quite powerful. You should be impressed."

"Stellar work," Diablo smiled. "Those cameras of yours got some great shots; I'm glad the rest of the world got to see them."

He then turned his eyes back towards Hellfire. "Hellfire, allow me to give you a gift. I did some digging on that bastard spy of yours."

Hellfire's eyes widened in horror. 'Hawks?'

Diablo's recording continued, and now he was badmouthing Hawks.

"To get us to trust him, Hawks murdered one of his peers. He killed the number 3…" Then, an image of Best Jeanist appeared beside him. "Best Jeanist is dead. Since violence is essential to a pro's life, Hawks is comfortable with blood on his hands. It was something that he was exposed to early on; his father committed serial robberies and murders.

That's why Hawks kept his past and real name hidden. Kinda funny that his old man was put away by mine. I don't know if that's fate or that Hellfire naturally attracted damaged people to his side. But I do know that he must be stopped! He can't cover up his appalling behaviour by calling it justice! He really claims to be a hero, but he's treating the whole world! The thing that I want you to realise today is that these heroes only protect themselves! You're being used! These disgusting people treat us as tools for their own self-affirmation!"

Hellfire's fan just stared at the video, horrified with his friend.

"Oh boy," said his friend, shocked, "people are going to believe him. He's telling the story first, so there's no evidence against it yet. Even though everyone knows that guy is a villain, it doesn't matter. I—sorry, I've got a bail. I don't want it to be true, man, but look how much damage the heroes have done lately. I just don't know. The people watching this are going to freak out; he's already won."

"Thank you for living long enough to see this day!" said Diablo joyously.

He then jumped into the air and swooped down towards Hellfire and Hookfang.

"Hellfire!" he screamed.

Hellfire was still in shock, trying to comprehend everything that had happened. 'I looked for you everywhere.'

'Big brother?' Hookfang stared, also in shock.

Glacier quickly stepped to the plate, and frost began to cover his hand. "He's fast! You guys ready?"

'I believe that you died,' said Hellfire.

'You were endangered our family,' said Hookfang.

"Hellfire, you protect Hiccup and Forge," said Glacier. "Snotlout, you're with me and Ase as we hold him off. You guys snap out of it! Please, we can deal with this later!"

Diablo headed straight towards them and burst into pure blue flames, and everyone realised that he was about to use Hellfire's signature move; however, before he could unleash it, cables shot out of nowhere and wrapped themselves around him.

'What the?' said Diablo, stunned.

He looked up and saw Best Jeanist in the sky, falling next to a set of steel cables.

"Sorry, I'm late," he said. "As of this moment best Jean Jeanist is back."
