This was a very tough fight to resolve and for secondary opinions I decided to consult people on Reddit who also had this hypothetical battle on the site. After chatting with many others on Reddit over this battle the winner was decided thanks to the opinions of my fellow Redditors so I hope you enjoy the final battle! I would also like to apologize in advance for the lazy weapons testing in this chapter but in all fairness we've seen most of their weapons before.

(A Japanese man wearing traditional samurai armor in a rather dark color, a traditional kabuto and menpo swings his katana at the camera.)

Jin Sakai: The 'Ghost' of Tsushima whose use of traditional and dishonorable tactics drove back the Mongol invaders.

(Jin is seen parrying a blow from an attacking Mongol General and slices his head off with his katana.)

vs.

(A Caucasian man wearing a white robe and hood with red flicks his wrist revealing a hidden blade, he then thrusts at the camera.)

Ezio Auditore: The Florentine nobleman and master assassin who restored the brotherhood to prominence in Italy.

(Ezio is seen sneaking up on an unsuspecting Borgia Brute and kills him with his hidden gun.)

WHO IS DEADLIEST?!

To find out, we've assembled a team of world class fighters to test history's most lethal weapons. Using 21st century science, we'll see what happens when two warriors go toe to toe.

No rules. No safety. No mercy. It's a duel to the death to decide who is...THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

Here in our elite fight club we have gathered doctors, medical scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two video game protagonists who fought against those who've wronged them...

Jin Sakai

Appearing from: Ghost of Tsushima

Age: Late 20s to early 30s

Height: 5'10''

Weight: 180 lbs.

Armor: Kabuto, Menpo, Ghost Armor (Do-Maru)

Ezio Auditore

Appearing from: Assassin's Creed ll

Age: 29

Height: 6'

Weight: 165 lbs.

Armor: Strategic Steel Plate

''Looks like today's update is shaping up to be a real good fight gentlemen.'' DeadAliveManiac started off excitedly, ''Today two protagonists from two great games face off today when Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima meets Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed.''

''This is a very interesting match we go going here because Jin is trained as a samurai so we can understand how he would fight but later on he begins to adopt unconventional tactics to combat the Mongol horde basically being a ninja as well. Ezio was a master assassin so it's gonna be awesome to see these two collide.'' Zivon96 stated.

''These two are very different but also the same in some aspects. Jin was fighting for survival against the invading Mongol hordes while Ezio fought against the House of Borgia in a quest for vengeance.'' MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior explained.

''Jin's arch nemesis throughout Ghost of Tsushima was the Mongol warlord Khotun Khan and Ezio's arch nemesis is Cesare Borgia who is planned to appear in our historical Deadliest Warrior. Two men who had a drive to fight and defeat all who wronged them meet for the first time and it's gonna be great.'' Its Rice Man said.

Born into Clan Sakai, Jin Sakai grew up in Omi Village on Tsushima Island; the day he was born, his mother witnessed a fox chasing fireflies outside their home, thus she proclaimed the kami Inari to be Jin's guardian. Growing up in the ruling class of samurai, he was raised in a strict, disciplined environment, trained by his father, Kazumasa, and maternal uncle, Lord Shimura, to become a samurai.

''Since this man grew up as a samurai he is calm, pretty stoic and never raises his voice and knows how to control his emotions even in the heat of battle.'' Rice Man explained.

Just like what happened in history, in Ghost of Tsushima the Mongol Empire launched an invasion led by Khotun Khan, grandson of Genghis Khan and cousin of Kublai Khan. Jin is one of eighty samurai who were sent in a desperate suicidal attack against the Mongols at Komoda Beach, aiming to slow the invasion force down before they reach the Japanese mainland. During the battle, Jin was grievously wounded and left for dead, while Shimura was captured and the rest of the samurai on the beach were annihilated.

''Even though he almost died during the initial invasion he was rescued by a thief named Yuna and with his indomitable fighting spirit he continued to fight on until he managed to kill the Khan and end the Mongol invasion for good. Ezio has never met someone as driven and lethal as Jin and he better watch out.'' Rice Man concluded.

Jin comes armed with a mix of traditional and unconventional weapons that allowed him to fight off the invading Mongols...

Sidearm: Sakai Tanto

Short Range: Sakai Katana

Mid-Range: Kunai

Long Range: Daikyu Yumi

Special: Sticky Bomb

Today, the feared Ghost will face another adversary whose skills and feats became legendary.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze was a Florentine nobleman during the Renaissance, and, unbeknownst to most historians and philosophers, a Master Assassin and the Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins, a title which he held from 1503 to 1513. He is also an ancestor of William and Desmond Miles, as well as Clay Kaczmarek.

''This man was a master assassin, a skilled fighter and an overall feared opponent to the House of Borgia.'' Rice Man explained.

During his travels, Ezio managed to not only unite the pages of the Codex, written by the Levantine Assassins' Mentor Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, but also to save the cities of Florence, Venice, and Rome from Templar rule. He ensured Christoffa Corombo's future travels to the Americas, liberated Rome from Borgia rule, prevented Ercole Massimo's Cult of Hermes from rising to power, and helped spread the Renaissance and Assassin ideals of independence and free will throughout Italy.

''His list of accomplishments definitely exceeds anything Jin had ever done but that doesn't matter because Jin will prove to be a serious opponent to the Ghost. I wonder how Jin will deal with Ezio's fighting style.'' Rice Man concluded.

To restore the Italian brotherhood, the master assassin came armed with a stealthy arsenal that helped him accomplish his goals...

Sidearm: Hidden Blade

Short Range: Schiavona

Mid-Range: Throwing Knives

Long Range: Crossbow

Special: Hidden Gun

Both of these men relied on two differing sidearms to kill their foes.

Since we've already seen the Hidden Blade in 'Leaf Ninjas vs. Italian Assassins' our panel will move on to Jin Sakai's preferred weapon.

''The sidearm Jin used was the tanto blade. This particular tanto belonged to his family and measured 6 inches in length and weighed a little over a pound and is made of tamahagane steel.'' Jin Sakai expert and companion from the game Yuna explained.

To test out the lethality of the Sakai tanto Yuna will have two gel torsos to attack. One unarmored and the other armored in the armor of Ezio.

''Okay Yuna on my go! 3...2...1...ATTACK!'' DAM called out.

With her tanto in hand Yuna rushes forward and slices deep into the torso's neck sending stage blood gushing everywhere from the wound. With the neck severed she then stabs the tanto upward through the chin with a sickening crunch causing most of the panel to wince at the sound. Smiling to herself the Tsushima native then stabs the get bust several times in the stomach before moving on to the armored target.

''She's quick with that thing.'' Demigod commented.

Rushing up to the armored target Yuna thrusts the tanto into the strategic steel plate and actually manages to pierce the armor. She struggles for a second before she was able to pull the blade out and thrusts again a little lower. Undeterred by the small amounts of penetration she wastes no time in stabbing the target in the eye.

Zivon then walks over to assess the damage.

''I'll start this off with the unarmored sap here. So what we got for the first slice was a total severing of the major veins and arteries in the neck which will result in a quick bleedout and you can watch him die. The second strike saw you jam that blade right up the chin and I can feel here that you managed to hit the bottom portion of the brain for an instant kill. Moving on to the stomach area here you stabbed him several times where his intestines would be and while that wouldn't kill instantly it would be the blood loss that would kill unless he gets medical attention.'' Zivon then shifts over to the armored target, ''For both stabs into the armor I'm seeing a little over an inch of penetration and all you're doing is touching the skin at most so no kill there. You more than made up for it when you jammed that blade right in the eye and hit the brain for a kill.''

Ezio Auditore expert and his direct descendant Desmond Miles walks over shaking his head.

''I admire the work here but you failed to penetrate my armor. Ezio would've taken advantage of that setback and finish Jin off with his hidden blade.''

''That won't work since Jin has the reaction time for this hidden blade you speak of.'' Yuna retorted.

The panel once again review the testing of the Hidden Blades from their previous appearances. Which weapon do they believe takes the edge?

''In all honesty I'm calling this one even across the board. Both are short blades that can get in and out quick and I doubt Ezio can pierce Jin's armor.'' DAM explained.

''Sorry to say since Jin does have the harder armor he still has to worry about two blades coming at his face. Ezio can also assassinate Jin and I don't know if the latter can see those blades coming. Edge Hidden Blades.'' Zivon seconded.

''For me I think I'll go with the Hidden Blades due to there being two of them. Sad to say since I really like the tanto.'' Demigod added.

''I give my edge to Ezio, he's got two blades and while Jin is a skilled fighter there's always the chance Ezio can catch him off guard.'' Rice Man concluded.

For sidearms, the edge goes to Ezio Auditore for his Hidden Blades.

Coming up! Two deadly swords are brought forth for carnage and then later two throwing weapons kill the competition!

XXXXXX

Jin Sakai, the Samurai whose mastery of both traditional and dishonorable tactics repelled the invading Mongol horde. Ezio Auditore, the fierce and skilled master assassin who struck fear into the House of Borgia. If these two beloved protagonists met who would win?

These two men relied on the best swords made available to them. The team now reviews the testing of the katana and schiavona from their various previous appearances before they decide what to do.

''Okay we've seen these blades many times before on both our historical and fictional DW. Let's have our experts test their blades against the opposing armor.'' DAM said.

Yuna and Desmond stand ready with their blades in hand. For Yuna she will test the Sakai katana against the Strategic Steel Plate of Ezio while Desmond will test his Schiavona against the Sakai Clan armor of Jin.

''Okay you guys you both 3 blows against the armor. On 3...2...1...go!'' DAM called out.

Yuna and Desmond in almost perfect unison thrust their respective blades into their opposing armor. Both experts manage to achieve some degree of penetration and at the same time they withdraw their blades and swing as hard as they can against the armor. Both blades slamming against the armor with a rather loud 'clang' that rings throughout the Fight Club. Again, both experts swing their blades much harder than the last swing with another 'clang' that shakes their targets on their stands.

Zivon then walks over to inspect the damage and after taking the moment to do so he gives his diagnosis.

''So from what I have seen with these two sets of armor we have two small holes and a dent. I saw that for the two holes you left in the opposing armor you both managed to cut into the skin underneath and cause only a bit of bleeding so no kills...sorry. I will say though that when you both hit the armor with the swings we did generate enough force for both sides to break a rib or two from their opponents. While that will not kill in itself you both left each other open to other forms of attack and there could be a small chance that their lungs were punctured by a piece of bone so here's hoping.'' explained the good doctor.

''My sword is much faster to use so there is no doubt in my mind that Jin can run circles around Ezio. That's not to mention that Jin was a master swordsman.'' Yuna chimed in.

''That may be true but that is if Jin can catch Ezio before he gets assassinated.'' Desmond said.

Katana? Or Schiavona? Which blade proved to be more deadly? The panelists appear to be in a rather heated discussion so let's take a look at what they're arguing about.

''I'm with the Schiavona this time and one thing that won me over almost instantly was the superior handguard. Oh, and it hits harder too.'' DAM started off.

''Dude you're wrong! The katana is quicker and despite the armor failure I'm sure Jin can find his way around it. From what we've seen with both games Jin is far superior as a sword fighter so I give my edge to the Sakai katana.'' Zivon countered, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

''Well, I gotta give this one to the Schiavona, it's longer, hits harder and the handguard is an extra bonus per DAM's words.'' Demigod said.

''Demigod, DAM. With all due respect you're both so wrong you're not even right. You two know my answer already and I give it to the katana. I'll say it again, it is clearly the best sword in history and Jin is on a whole different level with his samurai training. Katana just beats anything man it's the best sword ever!'' Rice Man concluded.

DAM then puts on boxing gloves.

''Alright you weeb you wanna tussle? Let's go!''

Rice Man responds by pulling out his M4 Carbine and points it at DAM.

''Say hello to my little friend!''

''Hey Rice relax!'' Demigod and Zivon shouted.

The cameraman then pans over to Metal who was just sitting in front of the computer and not wanting any part of the bickering he simply gives a thumbs up at the camera and smiles innocently.

In a vote of 2 to 2, both Jin Sakai and Ezio Auditore are even in short range weapons.

Up next! We bring out two incredibly similar mid-range weapons and then later two deadly bows are brought in for a battle for long range supremacy!

XXXXXX

When these two men needed mid-ranged weapons they relied on two sets of lethal throwing blades to kill their enemies. Jin Sakai used the famed kunai knives and Ezio Auditore used the deathly silent throwing knives.

The panel now reviews footage from 'Leaf Ninjas vs. Italian Assassins' and 'Zora vs. Ra'zac' and it doesn't take long to come to their conclusion.

''This time we're gonna give the edge to the throwing knives of Ezio. Jin can throw his kunai with great accuracy but they are improvised weapons.'' DAM explained.

''I gotta agree this time. One is an improvised weapon and the other is actually made for combat. Gonna go with Ezio this time.'' Zivon seconded.

''I say even since these two weapons are incredibly similar in size and function.'' Demigod said.

''Alright I think I'll call this even too. Sure the kunai are improvised tools but they can still kill you pretty well as the throwing knives. These two are WAY too similar for either to win the edge. Both will also struggle with the opposing armor as well so there's that.'' Rice Man concluded.

In mid-range weapons, both warriors are dead even.

XXXXXX

When these two warriors killed enemies at long range they relied on the deadliest and most accurate bows they can get their hands on. Since we've already seen the Daikyu Yumi in 'Katsumoto Moritsugu vs. William Wallace' the team will move on to Ezio's preferred long range weapon.

Ezio expert Desmond walks over with his weapon in hand and displays it proudly for the panelists.

''This is the crossbow gentlemen, obviously it's a ranged weapon consisting of a bow assembly mounted horizontally on a handheld stock with a built-in firing mechanism. Unlike a bow, its range is conventionally shorter due to its heavier, yet more powerful, projectiles known as bolts. Crossbows vary in size from those too large to be carried in one hand to relatively portable ones that complement the mobile, stealth operations conducted by Assassins.''

''We're big fans of crossbows and to test it out we've set up a shooting gallery scenario for you. You will attempt to hit these target logs that will go left and right and we'll give you as much time as you need to fire your five bolts. Right behind those two logs is a foam torso clad in Jin's armor. Feel up to the challenge?'' DAM asked.

''Of course let's start.'' Desmond said.

Desmond then gets into position and loads in his first bolt and waits for DAM's count.

''Alrighty Desmond you're obviously ready so on my go. 3...2...1...fire away!''

On cue, the target logs Desmond aims his crossbow and fires off his first bolt hitting one of the target logs dead center to the cheers of the panelists.

''Nice shot!'' Zivon exclaimed.

''First shot too that's great.'' Demigod complimented.

Smiling at the cheers he received Desmond pulls the string back and loads another bolt onto the bow and takes aim at the target logs again. He takes a moment to acquire his target and lets another bolt fly and manages to hit it dead center again. Loading up another bolt he aims at the target logs again and fires his third bolt hitting one of the logs on the edge almost missing it. Loading up his fourth bolt he takes aim at the torso behind both the target logs and fires off another bolt. The bolt hits the armor dead center and pierces it and loading up his final bolt he fires it and with great accuracy he hits the target dead center in the face.

''Time! 1 minute 5 seconds that was pretty quick for a crossbow.'' DAM said as Zivon walks over.

''We got three hits on the target logs and if we were to compare these to a human torso the dead center hits would be hitting the heart for an instant kill. The third one was a bit off target and judging by the shot placement you're hitting him in the bicep muscle which would make it painful for him to move his arm.'' He then walks over to inspect the armored torso, ''I'm seeing about 2 inches of penetration but sadly this is not a kill shot. You made it up however with that face shot, dead center hitting the brain stem for an instant kill.''

''Well Yuna whattya think?'' Rice Man asked.

''I see this weapon's strength which is it's small size but against a master archer of Jin's level and the Yumi it will be a big problem for Ezio.''

The team now resets the test and replaces the torso with a new one. This one dawning the armor of Ezio Auditore and much like Desmond Yuna will have 5 arrows to make her point.

''Okay Yuna, fire away!'' shouted DAM.

Yuna strings her first arrow onto the Yumi and takes aim at the target logs and without hesitation he lets the arrow fly and hits one of the logs dead center to the cheers of the panel. Wasting no time she strings her second arrow and fires it hitting the second log, also dead center. Quickly reaching for her third arrow she fires it hitting a target log dead center once more.

''Dam man she's breezing right through this test.'' DAM commented.

Yuna takes her last two arrows and takes aim at the armored target and with great speed and skill she fires the last arrows into the armor piercing it enough to get stuck in the it.

''Time! 30 seconds now that's a great time.'' DAM said.

''Much like the crossbow we're seeing amazing accuracy but this time we're seeing a weapon that takes skill to use. You got three instant kills and with the armor you achieved an inch of penetration. No kill sadly.'' Zivon explained.

''That will not deter Jin at all as he has fought Mongols who were more armored and dangerous than Ezio.'' Yuna said with a smirk.

Crossbow? Or Daikyu Yumi? Which bow wins the edge?

''Yumi takes this all the damn way. It has the larger projectiles and is more powerful.'' DAM said.

''Agreed, Jin uses his weapon with more skill and can kill Ezio from a farther distance.'' Zivon seconded.

''Yeah this one is an obvious one cause as a samurai archery is pretty much Jin's thing. Edge Yumi.'' Demigod added.

''While others will say crossbow for portability the Yumi proves to be the more deadly of the two. So I gotta give it my edge.'' Rice Man concluded.

For long range weapons, the edge goes to Jin Sakai for the Daikyu Yumi.

XXXXXX

Now the time has come for our warriors to bring out their special weapons. Both men relied on two different means of disposing their enemies and up first will be Jin Sakai with his surprising sticky bomb.

''The sticky bombs Jin used were made of a small pack of black powder with a layer of tar on the exterior. Jin was known to throw these and since it was covered in tar it would stick to his enemies with no chance of escaping.'' Yuna explained.

To test out the explosive power of the sticky bomb the team has set up a battle formation of 10 charging Mongols represented by these foam stand ins. Yuna will have 1 bomb to prove her point.

''Alright Yuna you got one bomb so let's see what this baby is capable of doing.'' DAM said motioning for her to begin.

Nodding, Yuna walks up to the battle formation and lights the fuse on the bomb and almost immediately tosses it at the crowd. The bomb sticks itself to the stand in that was in the center which was also wearing Ezio's armor and she runs like a bat out of hell behind the Plexiglas barrier with the panelists and just as she makes it behind the barrier the bomb explodes rocking the entire formation.

''Holy crap that was the most controlled explosion we ever saw on this show man.'' Zivon said as he makes his way over. He individually inspects each target before finally checking the armored target...or what was left of it, ''I'm seeing no injuries on the targets farther away from the poor guy that got stuck but the ones neartest him are sustaining shrapnel injuries and if you get a lucky hit you could sever a major artery with the shrapnel. Now focusing on the center target that you stuck he's obviously dead if he's blown to bits and the armor did absolutely nothing to save him.''

''Ezio would see this coming a mile away as Jin begins lighting the fuse. What Ezio brings to counter this will be unlike anything Jin has ever seen even by Mongol standards.'' Desmond said.

''So I take it your man can do better?'' Yuna questioned with a raised eyebrow.

Ezio Auditore responds to the sticky bomb's power with a staple of the Assassin brotherhoods.

Since we've already seen the Hidden Gun in 'Leaf Ninjas vs. Italian Assassins' the team reviews the test footage of the gun before coming to their decision.

''Even though the Hidden Gun is a well, gun. I simply cannot ignore the destructive power of the bomb. It gets my edge.'' DAM started off.

''Sure Jin could potentially get caught off guard with it but if Ezio misses a shot he's screwed. Edge sticky bomb.'' Zivon seconded.

''The Hidden Gun also has a shitty reload so there's that working against it.'' Demigod added.

''Seriously the Hidden Gun is a weapon I wouldn't wanna risk using. Ya'll remember the camera gun from 'CIA vs. KGB'? Yeah if Ezio misses Jin he's basically done with that weapon and if you don't bail you're dead. I gotta give it to the sticky bomb there's no way around it just like the Pirate's grenado from the actual DW show.'' Rice Man concluded.

For special weapons, the edge goes to Jin Sakai for the sticky bomb.

Moving on to armor both Jin and Ezio relied on metal plates to protect their bodies. Jin wore the Ghost armor and Ezio relied on Strategic Steel Plate.

''Gonna have to give this one to Jin since he's wearing more armor.'' DAM said.

''Yeah Ezio's armor only really protects his torso region whereas Jin's armor protects everything.'' Zivon seconded.

''Jin's armor will definitely take a beating from the Schiavona and get penetrated by the crossbow bolts and the gun. That doesn't matter anyway since his armor covers more of his body.'' Demigod added.

''I have no doubt Ezio can find his way around Jin's armor, but Jin has a bigger target since Ezio is only wearing armor on his chest area. Edge Jin.'' Rice Man concluded.

In the armor category, the edge goes to Jin Sakai for his Ghost armor.

Coming up! Metal Harbinger gauges the x-factors and then after two of gaming's favorite protagonists duel to the death!

XXXXXX

Welcome back to the Fight Club, here we tested out weapons used by gaming's most popular and beloved protagonists to determine who is deadliest.

For sidearms, the dual offensive of the hidden blades cut down the Sakai tanto.

''Ezio has two of them so he can attack and defend against Jin.'' DAM explained.

Edge: Ezio Auditore

For short range weapons both the Sakai katana and Schiavona proved to be equally lethal.

''While the Schiavona has the handguard the Sakai katana hits faster and is more precise.'' Zivon explained.

Edge: Even

For mid-ranged weapons, both the kunai and throwing knives were determined to be equals.

''Honestly they're pretty much the same weapon except the kunai is improvised. The throwing knives were made for combat.'' Demigod explained.

Edge: Even

For long range weapons, the superior accuracy and power of the Daikyu Yumi shot down the crossbow.

''Since it requires great skill that means Jin will be making the bow a lot more lethal in his hands. Oh yeah, and archery is literally Jin's thing since he's you know, a samurai.'' Rice Man explained.

Edge: Jin Sakai

For special weapons, the power and simplicity of the sticky bomb blew the hidden gun out of the water.

''Guaranteed kill every time you throw it and we can't deny the kill potential of the gun, you're taking a huge risk with that thing.'' Metal explained.

Edge: Jin Sakai

And finally for armor, Jin's combination of his kabuto, menpo and ghost armor proved more protective over Ezio's strategic steel plate.

''Jin has more armor that covers more of his body, nuff said.'' Demigod explained.

Edge: Jin Sakai

Now our resident metalhead and computer wizz Metal Harbinger will evaluate the x-factors.

''Let's do this folks.'' Metal said.

''First and foremost I started with training and this was a no brainer at all. Jin was the hands down winner here since he's a samurai meaning he was training to be the best warrior since he was a kid. He learned how to fight from the likes of his father, his uncle and sensei Ishikawa. I had to give him a perfect 100 based on that to Ezio's 95.''

''Second is discipline and again, Jin took it since not only was he trained to fight he was also taught how to properly conduct himself in a proper manner. He never raises his voice and has complete control of his emotions...at least until you kill Ryuzo who betrayed Jin to join the Mongols and if you choose to kill Shimura in the final segment of the game of course. Despite that setback I had to give him a 100 once again to Ezio's 97.''

''Next in line we have physicality and this time Ezio got it with a 95 to Jin's 94. Ezio can easily climb buildings and such but Jin keeps it close by wearing the heavier armor and he can climb just as easily.''

''For adaptability...honestly I'm not even surprised Jin took it again. He fought the initial Mongol invasion and after seeing that traditional samurai tactics were no match against the Mongols he had to fight using tactics that would've left a taint of dishonor on Clan Sakai's name. Jin has a 90 to Ezio's 89.''

''Last but not least I covered combat experience and Jin took it. He has fought traditional samurai duels since he was a boy whereas Ezio was not even aware of his heritage until he was 17 years old. Jin scored a 95 to Ezio's 91.''

Metal has now complete the x-factor evaluation and will now run the simulator one-thousand times to the death. Since Jin can increase his lethality thanks to charms and can one shot Ezio with his special moves he will not have access to them. In return, Ezio will not have eagle vision to gain a total advantage over Jin to keep the fight as fair as possible for both protagonists.

Which protagonist will earn the title of Deadliest Warrior?

Speed

(Jin unsheathes his katana and kills a heavily armored Mongol with a single cut.)

vs. stealth

(Ezio sneaks up on a Borgia brute and with his hidden blade stabs the man in the back of the head.)

Samurai

(Jin is seen dueling a Straw hat Ronin and kills the man with a thrust to the gut with his katana.)

vs. Assassin

(Ezio watches as a Borgia brute walks on the street below. He takes his crossbow and fires a bolt into the man's back.)

''In the end only one man stands. Let's see who it is.'' Metal said as he pressed the button.

XXXXXX

It is a nice and lovely evening in the courtyards of Castle Shimura and a lone figure was seen scaling one of the many walls. The figure was revealed to be a man wearing a white robe with hints of red on it.

This man is revealed to be the master assassin Ezio Auditore who has been hired by the ruthless Mongol warlord Khotun Khan to assassinate his most hated enemy Jin Sakai.

Ezio expertly makes his way across the rooftops of the various buildings within Castle Shimura's courtyard managing to evade the samurai who were keeping guard throughout the grounds as he was here only for one target. Eventually he makes it to the Castle and sneaks his way into an open window.

Elsewhere in a room at the top of the castle was the brave samurai Jin Sakai. After recently taking the Castle grounds back from the Mongol hordes the man was seen sitting in full armor in a meditative pose. For now he and his fellow samurai will take the moment to rejoice in victory as they now are one step closer to liberating Tsushima. With his eyes close he thinks long and hard about the horrors he has witnessed since the Mongols invaded and he knew it was far from over.

Thanks to his years of samurai training Jin swore he felt a presence in the room.

Unbeknownst to him right above him on the wooden support beams of the room Ezio had found him and was taking aim at him with a throwing knife. Ezio aims the knife at Jin's face and throws the weapon just as Jin looks up.

Ezio lets the knife fly at that very moment and unfortunately for Italian man Jin quickly raises his katana and blocks the blade and responds by throwing a kunai right at Ezio. The assassin manages to jump out of the way and leaps out of the same window he came in. Now on alert Jin slowly walks toward the window the unknown assailant jumped out of and peeks out just a bit. While he was doing so Ezio snuck around the structure and slowly steps toward the samurai with his schiavona raised high and just as he brings it down onto Jin's head the samurai reaches for his tanto and quickly turns around to block the blow with his katana.

With the schiavona blocked Jin takes the chance to thrust his tanto hoping to stab the man in the gut but Ezio unsheathes one of his hidden blades and intercepts and blocks the tanto's assault.

Ezio then kicks Jin right in the chest sending the Japanese warrior stumbling backward and Jin ends up crashing into the window and almost falls out of the opening but manages to just barely stop himself from plummeting to his death. Just as he recovers from the kick Jin sees Ezio aiming a contraption on his hand at him and already knowing it was a weapon he rolls out of the way just as the gun goes off and responds by grabbing a nearby yumi and as quickly as he could he strings an arrow onto the bow and fires at Ezio.

As Jin was doing that Ezio took the chance to reach for his crossbow and aims it and fires off a bolt as well and both men hit each other in the shoulder and the force of their projectiles knocks them both back and both men groan in pain from the blow.

Knowing his advantage of stealth was negated Ezio knew he had to book it out of there, regroup and try to assassinate Jin on a better day so pulling the arrow out of his shoulder he looks up to see Jin, with the bolt still in his shoulder run over with his katana ready to kill him but the master assassin ducks under the swing and with his other hidden blade jams it into Jin's side and manages to pierce the armor.

Jin cries out in pain and backhands the assassin with enough force to send him spinning to the floor. Grounded, Ezio shakes his head to regain his senses and rolls back onto his feet just as Jin brings his katana downward to his face. Drawing his schiavona again Ezio blocks an attempted thrust from the samurai and parries the blow leaving Jin open for attack and swings the schiavona into his back.

The blow did nothing to pierce the armor but the force of the hit manages to stun Jin temporarily and with his chance Ezio leaps out of the window. Rubbing his sore back Jin rushes over to the window Ezio leapt out of and sees the man leaping over the wall and out of Castle Shimura. Not wanting his foe to get away Jin reaches for his grappling hook and leaps out of the window as well and tails the assassin. The samurai makes it to the wall and climbs over it and spots Ezio expertly climbing the adjacent rock face to try and make it into the forests outside of the castle and make his getaway.

Jin looks and sees several large trees nearby and with his grappling hook he uses it to swing from tree to tree and manages to keep up with his opponent without his knowledge.

Eventually Ezio manages to make it to the forests and feeling he was being followed turned to see Jin using his grappling hook to swing between the trees and soon enough the samurai lands in the forest with him. Shaking his head in annoyance he takes his sword in hand and leaps into the treetops to try and ambush the samurai once more.

With his katana in hand Jin knew his assailant had to be nearby and cautiously makes his way deeper into the forest as the sun completely sets. Despite the path of the forest being only lit by lanterns placed along the dirt path and surrounding trees Jin remained undeterred thanks to his samurai training and slowly steps further into the wood. He looks at the ground to see that the grass was depressed meaning that Ezio had been through here. Thanks to the darkness Jin did not see Ezio above in on a tree branch with his blade ready and prepares to leap down onto the unsuspecting samurai.

Jin listens carefully as a small, short but gentle breeze blows through the trees and he sees a few leaves slowly falling to the dirt beside him. Looking up he sees Ezio leaping downward with his schiavona pointed outward and the samurai manages to raise his katana to block the blow. The sound of steel blades clanging filled the quiet forest air and Jin takes the initiative and shoulder throws the Italian assassin to the ground with a thud.

Ezio lands hard on the ground knocking the air out of him for a second and sees Jin bringing his katana down. Reacting quickly Ezio unsheathes a hidden blade and stabs Jin in the leg.

Jin lets out a cry of pain before Ezio kicks his foot upward and hits him right in his face where his menpo was and knocks Jin onto his ass stunned from the kick. Getting up fast Ezio then swings his schiavona as hard as he could and hits Jin right in his kabuto hard enough to knock it right off causing Jin's ear to ring from the hit.

Seeing his opponent was reeling in pain and discomfort Ezio swings his schiavona at Jin's head but the samurai recovers just in time to block the attack with his katana and kicks Ezio back to create some space. Getting up Jin holds his katana defensively in front of him as Ezio slowly creeps his way toward him, both warriors circling each other wearily.

Ezio would make the first move with a thrust only for Jin to parry the blow and twirl around and with as much force as he could thrusts into Ezio's side. The master assassin's armor failed to protect him as he felt the tip of the katana cut slightly into his skin and he felt blood seep out the wound. Out of desperation he reveals his hidden blade once more and stabs Jin in his upper arm cutting deep into his flesh.

Despite the immense pain Jin fights on and headbutts Ezio right in the face breaking his nose and swings his katana. This time Jin manages to get a hit in as he cuts deep into Ezio's upper arm making the assassin grunt in pain.

Knowing he can't keep fighting Ezio makes one last attack with his schiavona and swings it as hard as possible hitting Jin right in his menpo almost cracking it in half before kicking him so hard he stumbles into a tree knocking the wind out of him.

Now he had the chance to make a quick getaway but Jin's endurance allows him to recover from the kick and he gives chase once again at the fleeing assassin. Eventually Ezio finds his way into a bridge that was over a massive waterfall. He turns around to see Jin following him again and sighs in annoyance.

''What a stubborn man.'' Ezio said under his breath.

He raises his schiavona protectively in front of him as he decides to fight since he knew Jin would continue to pursue him.

In response Jin raises his katana as well and both men charge at each other on cue and meet in a clash of steel in the middle of the bridge. Ezio would attempt to an attack with his schiavona but Jin was quicker and sidesteps around Ezio, Ezio however was expecting such a maneuver and twirls around with his hidden blade exposed. He catches Jin in his sword wielding arm making him cry out in pain. Fighting through it like he did many battles Jin secretly reaches for a sticky bomb on his person just as Ezio swats him away and throws it at the Italian man.

It was too late for Ezio to comprehend what happened and he looks down to see the sticky bomb on his arm just as the fuse burns out.

He was then struck in a small explosion that sends him flying away several meters and he lands on the ground with a thud. Slowly getting up on his knees he feels a horrid pain where his arm was and saw that his arm was completely blown off and was wide-eyed from the sight. He then felt his face and could feel several small pieces of shrapnel in his face causing some bleeding.

With his opponent at his mercy Jin slowly makes his way over with his katana in hand and takes Ezio's hood off so he can look him in the eye.

''W-who are you?'' Ezio questioned weakly.

Jin responds by slowly taking off his broken menpo and glares at the man.

''I am the Ghost of Tsushima.''

Jin then swings his katana at Ezio's head and severs it from his body and he watches as the headless lump falls over.

With his opponent dead Jin slowly sheathes his blade and bows to his dead enemy.

Following a game of cat and mouse Jin Sakai emerges victorious with a fifty-six win percentage. It was thanks to his superior swordsmanship, his superior long range weapon and much better armor that won the day. Ezio fared quite well thanks to his harder hitting schiavona and surprise of the hidden gun.

''While Ezio is an expert at catching his opponents off guard if he messes up he will have to fight out of his element.'' DAM explained.

''Ezio is no slouch at all and gave Jin a tough fight but the fact that Jin was trained since he was a kid he had more time to hone his skills and perfect himself.'' Zivon commented.

''I was giving a slight edge to Ezio since he fought enemies similarly armored to Jin but I can understand why he lost. Jin can fight as an assassin as well as he can face to face.'' Demigod said.

''Jin fought enemies that are much tougher, bigger, badder, stronger and meaner than anything Ezio has faced. Jin also has greater endurance and durability which also a factor in his win. Looking deeper into it if Ezio messes up he's gonna be forced to fight Jin head on and that put him out of his element. Congrats to the Ghost for his victory.'' Rice Man concluded.

''This is the result of a computer program. Had this been a real crossover Jin would never see Ezio coming.'' Desmond said, shaking his head in disapproval.

''I commend Ezio for his effort but he should've known better than to pick a fight with Jin and look at what happened. Jin has faced enemies far more harsh and lethal and it is no surprise he won.'' Yuna declared proudly.

(Jin is seen resting in his personal quarters back at Castle Shimura. After having his wounds tended too be goes back into meditation and once he faces Khotun Khan he will pay for sending the assassin after him.)
