Chapter 19

"Mate, what is going on with you?" Ron asked and plopped down next to Harry on the bed, meanwhile Hermione sat on the opposite side of him. Hermione placed a warm hand on Harry's thigh " Harry, please tell us what's wrong. We're worried about you."

Please don't feel the cuts, please don't feel the cuts. Harry thought to himself.

He shifted away from Hermione and sighed " nothing's wrong with me I'm fine."

Ron nudged Harry's side playfully "mate, there's no point in lying to us. We're your best friends we know you." Harry got annoyed when Ron says that constantly he never shuts up, so Harry thought it was time to speak up his mind.

"Ron, Hermione like I said before I'm fine. You guys Don't need to worry about me."

Hermione didn't look convinced she was way smarter than Harry and she always knew when something was wrong. "Ron, could you get us something to eat? I'm starving." she patted her stomach.

"Why me?"

"Just go"

Ron sighed grumpily and left the room, finally Hermione and Harry were left alone in peace.

"He's gone now Harry you can speak your mind now."

Harry chewed his nails nervously "Will you still be my best friend if I tell you?"

Hermione nodded "Of course I'll still be your best friend."

"Always and forever?"

"Always and forever."

Harry sharply breathed in and blurted everything he desperately wanted to say, and when he did Hermione didn't say a mean word at all. When harry finished speaking his mind he sat back down on the bed and flopped onto the mattress with Hermione by his side. " So, let me get this straight for a year you and Cedric were secretly dating behind everyone's backs?" Harry slowly nodded his head, afraid of how she'll react.

"Did not see that coming." Hermione said and playfully pinched Harry's arm.

"Now he hates me!" Harry sighed as he twisted and pulled his hair from the back. Hermione gripped his wrists, stopping him from pulling out another strand of his hair "hey, now Cedric doesn't hate you."

"Yes, he does."

"Harry, you don't know that." Hermione brushed back a strand of hair away from his face and handed him a tissue. Harry blew his nose noisily and sniffed " no, Hermione he does hate me for what I did. I might as well grow up and move on."

"What's going on?" Ron entered the room hands full of snacks for the trio "nothing you don't need to worry about." Hermione assured Ron, sitting up from the bed Harry plucked a chocolate frog from Ron's hands before it could escape.

"What's his problem?" Ron mouthed behind Harry's back.

"It's not my place to say." Hermione mouthed back.

Ron shrugged his shoulders and offered the tray to Hermione "liquorish wand?"

"Yes please." Hermione snatched the candy from his hands.

Meanwhile on the quidditch field...

Cedric mounted his broom and practised dodging the blungers, ducking and weaving at blurring speed he stood on his broom and jumped at the last blunger. "Still got it." Cedric chuckled to himself, after three hours of practice Cedric headed into the boy's locker room to shower. Once he was there, he checked to see if any of the showers were occupied, satisfied with the emptiness he started to undress. First, he took off his shoes then his socks he set them aside on the bench and wiggled his toes, standing up he unbuttoned his pants and pulled down his boxers and lastly, he took off his gloves, and shirt.

He turned on the water to hot and stepped inside, closing the curtain behind him Cedric closed his eyes and tried not to think of all the good times. Mostly he missed it when they would secretly fuck in the shower behind his dad's back.

Maybe it was time to tell the truth.

No more lies.

Cedric washed himself from head to toe with soap and let water wash away all his pain and anger, for some strange reason he felt like someone was watching him. He turned off the water and wrapped a towel around his waist, walking out of the shower Cedric reached for his clothes but they were missing. "Whoever you are, come out I'm not scared of you!" he called into the empty locker room. He shivered only in his towel and started to wonder around the locker room, searching high and low for the thief but had no luck. At least he had his wand with him, truth was he was scared of not having his wand on him at all times.

Cedric continued to search for his clothes for hours, but for a long time after searching he finally decided to give up. "Looks like I'm walking." he sighed and started to walk.
