(#Event)
In an unknown location...
A certain person was moving along, they were floating with deep thoughts in their mind as if trying to find a solution to a problem, and were moving through a hall made of marbles with pillars on the side supporting the halls.
The person has long silver hair with a holographic sheen that changes color as the light hits it. Four strands end in triangular buckles. They have deep red cat-like eyes with holographic colors and narrow pupils. A triangular halo is seen above their head in holographic rainbow-like colors. They wore a white jumpsuit, with its left hand being a mechanical arm that had a golden ring on its index finger.
Finally, the person stopped in front of what seems to be a gate made of marble. Opening it telekinetically without moving their arms, they were greeted with a big grand room, a red carpet with a golden circle symbol on the center, with it leading to a high wall or column with tables on top.
The view looked like what seems to be a courtroom of sorts, without walls, and a view of space with countless stars were visible from here. Away from the tall judges column is a much normal height circle table placed on top the golden carpet's symbol with 4 people who seemingly got bored looks, waiting for someone. But those bored looks soon stopped as they all noticed the person entering the said room.
"Finally, I was getting kind of bored waiting. I could have done something fun all this time. Instead, I get to wait in this silent room with almost nothing in it." The red headed one proclaimed while leaning back on her chair and putting her hand behind her back.
"Ignore the rat, she's only saying that but she actually doesn't have anything to do. So, what is it that you wanted to meet about?" The dark blue haired one retorted.
"Heh... Like you have plenty of stuff to do except for gloating. I'll let you know I have plenty of important things to do." The red haired said, a bit irritated.
"Uh-huh, sure." The blue haired one ignored the red one's retaliation.
"Ahaha... Maybe we should keep silent and let Omega talk, what they wanted to talk about." The light green haired one tried to reason.
The 4th person with brown hair just watched as two of her friends kept on quarreling. Indulging in the scenery.
But as the two kept on arguing, an unknown force slammed both the blue and red haired ones head on to the table face down. This shook both the green haired girl and the brown haired one, with both concerned and frightened faces.
"Okay, now on to the agenda. I, Omegaα will now start roll-calling first to start our meeting together. Our council meeting." Omegaα then started calling out names for the people they gathered for the meeting. "Nanashi Mumei."
Getting out of her stupor, the brown haired girl then raised a hand with a smile "Here!"
Nanashi Mumei had brown hair with a bit white and black strips on it. She has a ponytail tied with a scrunchie designed with two brown feathers, and she wears a hooded coat themed like a brown owl, with forest green on the inside secured by a dark brown ribbon. She wore a red skirt with a white long sleeve polo. Around her waist is a lantern, a pouch, and a small dagger. She also has a Paper Bag with a cut out face floating next to her.
"Ceres Fauna" the call continued.
"U-um... Present." The green haired girl responded, still a bit concerned.
Ceres Fauna has light green shoulder hair, with horns that are made out of branches, and golden eyes. She wore a dark green dress with a fancy white overtop. She is what's known, as a Kirin.
"...Ouro Kronii."
The next one was called, but no response. The other two looked concerned for the ones that got their head plugged in in the thick table itself.
"Ahem, Ouro Kronii."
This time, a weak response from the blue haired girl was heard. "U-umm... P-present..." Ouro Kronii said, as she raised her trembling head and hand, and then quickly lowered it down, taking a bit of a nap.
Ouro Kronii has short, dark blue hair and blue eyes with chains as her hairband. She has blue bow shaped earrings, and the most noticeable in her form is the clock floating behind her head like a halo.
"Hm. Then. Hakos Baelz."
The red haired one then rose up from her seemingly pinned position with a tired look that looked like she had an extreme headache. "Ugh... Here..."
Hakos Baelz has vibrant red hair in pigtails and black and white streaks with blue eyes, and mouse ears. She has a spiked collar and a short white top with black accents with the word RAT and graphics of ears and whiskers around it and a short skirt with a mouse tail above it, a cyan ribbon tied to it. She seems to have two rat plushies combined together on her waist, the other one red and the other, cyan.
"Tsukumo Sana" Omegaα called the last person they expected to be present for the meeting. At least, that was the plan.
"Umm... She's not here." Fauna said.
"Sana sure is late as usual. Wonder why she's always late when it comes to this meetings?" Mumei questioned.
"Beats me. Maybe she's out there exploring again, as usual." Baelz replied, seemingly used to this.
Sigh* "How troublesome." Despite the sigh, Omegaα's stoic face remained.
"Want us to go get her? I don't think we can start this meeting without her." Baelz offered, wanting to finish this meeting once and for all.
"No need." Omegaα rejected the offer. As soon as they said so, a triangle shaped portal emerged, and with their hand, reached out and grabbed a certain light yellow haired individual.
"Waaah?! I'm being kidnapped!" The light yellow haired one screamed.
Omegaα then made another portal and transported her to an empty chair next to the table.
"Oof!" The light yellowed one responded to the quick action that befalled her. "Huh? Where am I? Oh hey, hello there everyone... And Omega. Haha... Was I late to a meeting again?..."
"Well then, I'll continue my roll call." Ignoring the question, Omegaα proceeded. "Tsukumo Sana."
"Present!" Sana responded with great cheeriness that she always was.
Tsukumo Sana has long blonde hair in twintails with large, multicolored balls as hair accessories. She has golden eyes and tanned skin with a pink swirly shaped antennae sticking out of her head. A gyroscope with an orange looking worm with hands at the center was floating beside her.
With one last look around the room, Omegaα decided to carry on with the meeting.
"As you may all know, I have called you all here for a reason. And that reason is, that I have detected an anomaly."
"An anomaly?" Fauna questioned.
"Hmm..." Sana was seen poking Kronii's napping head. She then stopped to listen more to Omegaα.
"Yes." Omegaα answered. "This so called anomaly was detected on Earth, from the other world."
"Wait, that world? The one where everyone seems to live carefree, devoid of supernatural threats?" Kronii replied, seemingly surprised everyone in seeing her awake like nothing happened.
"Yes, because of the characteristics of such a world, and universe, besides some exeptions, no supernatural anomalies usually happen in it, until now." Omegaα answered once more, seriousness taking over everyone. "Although, all exceptions that occurred there were due to other universes intervening with it and getting caught in its problems."
"So, you mind giving us the details on this so called anomaly? It might be better to know quick, and handle it." Baelz questioned
"Bae is right, we should probably handle this before it gets out of hand, and before any people gets to discover it on their own." Fauna added.
"Well, the anomaly is that..." Omegaα Began.
The room became tensed as everyone waited for Omegaα to finished.
"A boy appeared."
The room then became quiet suddenly, not one spoke for a while.
"Wait, that's it, a meansly boy? All of us went and held a meeting for that?" Kronii went on the questioning, she didn't really want to waste her precious time on something so insignificant in her sight.
"Maybe there's something else that makes this boy special." Fauna brought out her thoughts looking at Kronii.
"Yes, he isn't an ordinary boy from my observations. Someone was being impatient." Omegaα said glaring at Kronii which made her sweat a bit. "This boy, this anomaly, appeared out of nowhere in my observation radar, which is all of creation, including the other world. It's as if this boy got created out of nothing. Beyond that, I felt a power within him, not belonging to what people would call, normal."
Everyone was listening intently, and came up with their own thoughts as they absorbed the information.
Mumei then raised her hand. "Wait, does that mean that he might also be a concept taken form?"
"A new friend!" Sana happily said looking at Mumei, thinking with the possibility of a friend like them.
Another one then brought out their thoughts on it. "Or maybe he's one of the creation of the Gods?" Fauna said.
"Nah, I don't think that's it. The Gods never told us anything about it. Unless they're keeping secrets over it. Omega should've known as well." Baelz replied.
"Hmm... That is suspicious..." Kronii placed a hand on her chin. "It's possible that he might be a concept taken form, like some of us, but... Forming in that world sounds unheard of..."
The room went quiet, filled with thoughts of speculations and answers. All of them were thinking on trying to solve such a mystery. Baelz then decided to break the silence.
"Hey, this is just a suggestion from me. But have you tried scanning the memories of this boy? If he really is a concept taken form, then he should have bits of memories related to that concept, right? if not..."
"I couldn't." Omegaα answered. For a moment everyone was silent. "As much as it irks me. I couldn't bypass his mental psyche and look into his memories, something was blocking my access."
With this announcement, it surprised everyone in the room.
"Ahahaha, that's a funny joke. A first time from you." Kronii said, laughing from the answer that Omegaα gave. Not believing it. "You ARE joking, right?"
Omegaα responded with a shake of their head, denoting a no. "No. It irks me as much as those Ancient Ones. Doing whatever they please without much thought." Despite the stoic face, Omegaα felt a bit irritated by something that she couldn't do anything about.
"What?! The Legendary Omega themself couldn't read someone's memories, a simple act like that, this is unbelievable!" Kronii, taken aback.
"Oh, well now. This is getting good." Baelz smirked widely, getting filled with excitement. A mystery that even Omegaα themself couldn't make out anything of. 'Looking forward to meeting this boy.'
"That's, umm... Worrisome isn't it?..." Fauna, thinking cautiously.
"A new adventure starts!" Mumei said out loud with raised arms. Excited for another quest to unfold.
"What a fascinating friend!" Sana resonated with the excitement of the others.
As the room was being filled with excitement (And a bit of worry.) Everyone found themselves thinking about the necessary actions needed to take for such an anomaly.
"Just say the word and we'll handle this anomaly. What do we have to do?" Baelz asked.
Despite the excitement, Omegaα shook their head. "None for now. We will just observe him until further information has been gathered. As risky as it might seem, this is the better option due to how much information we lack and the characteristics of the world he's in."
Sana responded with a solution that she thought. "Couldn't we just disguise ourselves and gather information from him directly?"
"Not a bad suggestion coming from you." Kronii praised Sana, though, whether that was actually a praise or not, depended on Sana.
"Thanks." In response, Sana thanked her. It was a praise for her.
Even with the sound suggestion. Omegaα still turned it down. "While it is faster, It would also compromise us. Gathering information now could make us seem suspicious towards him, making it harder to get anything out of him. So, I want you all to settle down for now, until further notice, and just observe."
Sana dropped her head. "Aww... I guess that friend will have to wait."
"Postponed new adventure, I guess..." Mumei said, a bit disappointed.
"I understand. I'll keep observing." Fauna responded, patient about it.
"Hmm... Okay, I'll follow commands..." Baelz then whispered something really low, so that the others wouldn't hear. "For now..."
Kronii seems to be deep in thought.
"That is all. This Council meeting is now dismissed." Omegaα ended the meeting to which all of them responded.
"Right!"
As the meeting ended, almost all of the group stayed. Having a chat about the meeting that just occurred. Omegaα themself, opened up a triangle shaped portal which closed as they entered. It arrived, at what seems to be a rocky place, desolate of any life. It was the moon. They then looked up to see the earth, surrounded by a background of stars, and stared at the location where the boy is. 'That boy... I couldn't sense his fate. I'm drawing a blank... Who... are you?'
At said boy's location...
The sky was a bright blue with almost no clouds seen. It was a bright and sunny afternoon. The sun shone towards a window in a room. Outside the windows, dozens of houses from beneath can be seen.
"Sora-... Sora, yeah... So-..."
Audible noises were heard by the boy. Thoughts swirled upon him.
'Is someone... Calling me?' The boy thought, as he heard his name.
"Sora! Sora!... "
'Another one, someone's calling for me.' This time, what the boy heard was much more Audible.
"What a nice performance! Sora's singing is as cute as always!"
The boy opened his eyes hearing his name yet again. He found himself in what seems to be a bed, where he was lying down. Moving around, he noticed that the jacket on him, was gone, and he could see it hanging up in a wall In front of him alongside another jacket that was yellow, with tears that were visible. The light was shining through a window beside his bed. 'Where am I? What is this place? This isn't the Final World...'
Looking at his side, he saw someone. An orange haired girl with headphones on, wearing a school uniform. She seems to be watching something on a holographic display, and was typing with a holographic keyboard that came out of a smartphone, a grin, plastered on her face. There were a pair of light sticks on the table the smartphone was on. The girl then noticed the boy to be awake. As she stared at his sky blue eyes, a blush creeped up on her. She then immediately closed the holographic display and lowered her headphones, asking.
"H-how much did you see?" The girl, embarrassed by the thought of her actions being seen.
"Huh?" The boy sat up, and was confused by the question presented to him.
"Umm... You know, the way I was fangirling just now-" The more she thought about it, the more embarrassed she became. The girl then squated down away from the boy and held her head with both hands. 'Uwaaah! What am I doing?! I'm just embarrassing myself even further! Talk about first impressions!'
"Umm... I don't really know what this fangirling is about, but can you tell me where I am?" The boy asked, he then realized something. He hasn't introduced himself. "Oh right, I forgot. My name's Sora. Nice to meet you."
Sora as introduced, waited for the girl to compose herself, so he could get his answer. After a while, the girl calmed down a bit, still nervous, but decided to talk to him.
"A-ahem. My name is Hoshimi Hikari, you can just call me Hikari. J-just forget everything that happened before, okay?" Hikari, as introduced, said with a hint of desperation in her voice. Her cheeks still a bit flushed.
"Sure..." Sora responded, not knowing what it was all about.
Hikari then realized something and held Sora's hands which surprised him. "Wait, did you say your name was Sora? Eh? No way! You share the same name as her! That's so cool!" Her eyes sparkled as she said it.
"Eh? Who?" Sora was confused again, not knowing what she meant.
Hikari then notices what she was doing and decided to stop, not wanting to embarrassed herself any further. She then tries to compose herself yet again. "A-ahem."
Hikari then turned her gamer chair towards Sora and sat on it, to start her discussion. Still not use to talking to people, she took a deep breath. She tried to pursue a conversation, but found herself blankly thinking.
The air was filled with an awkward silence, not even the wind outside made any sound. It was total silence, and Sora was just looking at Hikari expecting something, like an answer to his question earlier.
'...So... So, Awkward! What am I supposed to say now?! Not only that, he saw me waving light sticks at a live stream like a total idol fanatic. Now that I think about it, that's really embarrassing...' Hikari turned red again due to the thought of being seen in such a situation. Her thoughts were now being scattered due to the intense anxiety she feels.
Sora, noticing her expression, got worried. He then started the conversation. "Umm... Are you alright? Is there something bothering you?"
Hikari snapped out of it as he heard Sora's voice, she then waves her hands in front of her. "Oh, Umm, I'm okay! R-right, your question!" After a moment of silence, to probably calm herself a bit more and collect her thoughts. She then spoke. "You're currently at my home apartment. I don't really know what happened to you, but I saw you lying in the middle of a crossroad. You were pale, so I took you in since the hospital around here was far."
'Hm? Lying in the middle of the road? That's strange, that's not what I remembered. I was in the Final World.' Sora then placed a hand on his chin. 'After defeating Yozora, I got tired from it and slept. And now I woke up here. Hmm...'
"Umm..." Hikari called out, noticing Sora spacing out.
"Oh, sorry, I was just thinking about stuff." Sora said as he lowered his hand. "By the way, thanks for saving me, you even took care of me along the way and gave me shelter."
Not used to being praised, Hikari humbled his thanks. Holding up both her hands. "Ah, no. I just saw someone who needed help, that's the normal thing to do, right?"
"Still, I appreciate your help." Sora said with a smile, grateful for the help.
"By the way, I want to ask something. Sorry if I sound intrusive. But, what happened to you? Your clothes had tears on them, and when I discovered you, you were pale and seem really exhausted." Hikari question, curious about his situation.
"Oh. Well..." Sora thought of an excuse without telling her much. Used to what Donald, his friend, told him. Keeping the other world's existence, a secret. He then got an idea "Oh, this is my first time around here. And well, I kind of got lost in the mountains... After a tumultuous journey, I made it here and fainted. Yeah, that's it..." He waited for Hikari's response. Nervous if she would buy it.
Hikari absorbed Sora's predicament a bit. She then got surprised. "Wait, the mountains are pretty far from here, and you travelled from there to here, no wonder you're pale! I see, that makes sense. So that's why you got tears on your clothes. I'm guessing you lost your baggage along the way as well." Hikari said, no suspicion at her side though.
"Ah yeah. That's it. It was pretty tough. Ahaha..." Sora said, trying his best in convincing Hikari.
"Tough? That sounded like a horrendous experience!!! I can't even imagine how bad that experience is." Hikari said with intense worry, she then questioned Sora. "Though... You seem pretty young to be travelling, especially alone. Do your parents know what happened? Umm... I can use my phone to call them." She got her phone, getting it ready to call Sora's parents.
"Oh, no. It's fine, this already happened a couple of times, I know what to do. Besides, they already know that this happens a lot, so I don't want to trouble them." Sora responded, raising his hands in front of him, not sure if that's a good idea. He thinks that it's impossible to reach them from here, nor does his parents have something like a gummiphone.
"O-okay. If you say so. But knowing that you get lost a lot does worry me, your parents trust in you must be pretty big..." Hikari replied, still worried about his predicament. She then remembered something. "O-oh right. You must be hungry. I'll prepare dinner. Wait here."
"Thanks." Sora watches Hikari go out of the room with her phone, thinking she'll go to the Kitchen. As soon as she closed the door, he then began to gather his thoughts, his arms crossing on his chest. 'Hmm... I'm still here. I expected myself to disappear, I was prepared to give myself up for everyone, but here I am... We already defeated Xehanort and his organization, so what should I do now... I guess I should return home. But first, I should check up on what I have.'
Sora checked up on the items that he has on him. But no matter how many times he checks, none of them were there. 'All of them are gone. Even my Gummiphone... The only thing left here is Kari's charm...' Sora felt a bit saddened by all his items. Sigh...*
Moving on, Sora decided to check his abilities. Looking around, just to make sure no one was eyeing on him. He held out his hand and made a flame appear, he then cycled through many of his magic spells. 'It happened again... My magic is back to basics... At least, I can still use cure.'
Another disappointment washed through Sora. He then held out a hand and summoned his Keyblade. It's silver pole reflecting the sunlight and the golden handle, glistening.
Sora pointed the Keyblade forward, waiting for something to happen. 'Of course, the power of waking is gone. I expected as much, Chirithy did say there were consequences. I'm guessing this is one of them, but to think my magic was also affected.' He then tried to open a pathway to outside the world. 'Hmm... I can open pathways to other worlds but I don't even know where I am, I might get lost out there. I don't think it affected my physical body, at least, which is a relief.' He then unsummoned his Keyblade.
'There goes my plan to go home... Maybe I'll go check outside the world later.' As Sora was done checking his person, a beeping sound was heard. "Huh, Hikari?" This alerted Sora, making him go out of bed and check what seems to be black smoke coming outside the room. He follows it and finds Hikari.
In the Kitchen near the living room, was Hikari, panicking about, with a frying fan releasing a massive amount of black smoke. She then notices Sora. "Uwaaaah!!! Sora, I wanted to try making dinner for you, but this is the result. I'm really not used to this. Maybe I should've just ordered food!" Hikari said, panicking, trying to turn off the smoke alarm.
Sora just stood there, watching Hikari throwing a coughing fit, turning off the smoke alarm and stove, her face charcoaled from the smoke, trying her best to make dinner for him.
"Pfft. Ahahaha. You really aren't used to it, huh?" Sora said, chuckling. Feeling light hearted from the situation. "Here, I'll help." He approached Hikari on the Kitchen. "So, what did you want to cook?"
Hikari was a bit hesitant to say, but decided to say it. "Umm... I wanted to cook an omelette because I thought it was simple. But well..." She looked at the pan, it was completely burnt. "I failed even though I tried to follow the instructions..."
"I see. I'm guessing you didn't control the flame properly." Sora looked at the burnt egg, feeling bad over it. "Can I see the recipe?"
Hikari nodded and pointed at the holographic display her phone was producing which was showing a website where she got the recipe. "I wanted to fry the egg, but I guess I forgot to lower the flame... I always get too distracted reading the recipe, making sure everything was right..."
Sora then started by following the recipe, with occasional help from Hikari. He taught her a bit about cooking on the way. After that eventful disaster, Sora and Hikari finally finished cooking two omelettes and they were sitted on a dining room, ready to eat. The sky was now an orange hue, from the time they spent.
"Whoa, this looks beautiful. It's exactly like the photo." Hikari looked at awe with the Omelette she and Sora cooked. "Sorry for making you help, and here, I was supposed to be the one taking care of you." A bit disappointed about herself.
"No no, it's fine. Besides, I love helping others, it's just my brand." Sora said with a smile pointing at himself with his thumb.
"But to think you were this good at cooking, where did you learn such skill? I saw you cracking eggs and chopping like a professional would." Hikari, awe and curious about his Skill.
"Oh, well. A friend of mine taught me." Sora replied. 'Well, more specifically, controlled me. But I did have fun with it, and learned a lot. '
"Your friend must be really good then, also a great teacher." Hikari praised Sora's friend. She then grabbed a cup of water and drank from it
"Yeah, he's a chef in a restaurant. He's a really great friend and an amazing chef. He even made the restaurant receive a 5 star. Something about it being the highest honor." Sora said casually.
This made Hikari spit her drink and cough it out. Cough* Cough*
"Hikari, are you alright?!" Sora asked, worried.
Hikari then raised a hand in front. "Wait, your friend is a chef of a 5 star restaurant!?" She then stood up from her chair with her hands on the table. "He must be a celebrity! That's amazing! And you were able to be his friend!" Hikari then notices her excited demeanor, and stopped. "E-excuse me... But really, that is amazing."
"Yeah, I think so too. His restaurant is called Le Grand Bistrot. I don't think I'm at his level though." Sora said, getting used to her bursts of excitement.
"Le Grand Bistrot?... Hmm... I haven't heard of it before. From the name, it must be from another country. But even so, it's a 5 star one, so I might've just missed it." Hikari said, rubbing a hand behind her head, not knowing about it. "Besides, I'm not really big on cooking, so that might be one of the reasons."
'Or probably because it's in another world... But I won't tell her that, she's not gonna believe me anyway...' Sora thought. "Anyway, we should probably eat our dinner before it gets cold." Sora suggested, noticing they haven't touched their Omelette.
"Oh, r-right." Hikari said, still embarrassed about her recent burst. She then clasped her hand and said. "Itadakimasu."
Sora not knowing what that means, followed suit, not to look suspicious. "I-itadakimasu..."
Hikari noticed Sora's attempt to be grateful for his food. "Oh, do you... not know anything about that? Are you from another country or culture?"
"Uh... Yeah... I'm not from around here, so..." Sora said, his eyes drifted to the side.
"Is that so? Uh, well... You don't have to copy what I'm doing. But if you want. In our culture every time, before we eat, we usually clasped our hands together and say, Itadakimasu. It's to show that you are gratefully accepting the food. And after we eat, we say Gochisousama Deshita, which means being thankful for the food you have eaten." Hikari taught.
"I see. I'll keep that in mind." Sora said, ready to start eating.
As Hikari took a bite of the Omelette, she had a face full of satisfaction. "Whoa... This is heavenly. I could never compete."
Sora chuckled at the scene. Glad that someone was happy with the dish they both worked on.
As they both finished dinner, Sora offered help to Hikari for washing the dishes, and after finishing the last one, night time came slowly. This prompted Hikari to ask Sora a question.
"Umm... Hey, Sora. It's almost going to be dark outside, do you have a place to stay?" Hikari asked, wiping her hand with a fridge towel after she finished washing the dishes.
Sora got caught up with what happened that he forgot about a place to stay on. "Oh right, I forgot. Well, I'm really new to this place, so I haven't really found a place to stay."
"Is that so? W-well, if you don't mind, you could stay here for a while until you find a place. I do want you to get check up on a doctor tomorrow just in case as well." Hikari hesitated a bit, inviting him, but pushed through because of her worries about Sora's circumstances. She then realized something else. "Oh right, since your bags are gone, I suppose you need new clothes to wear... M-maybe we can buy them together next weekend. In the meantime I'll try to see if I have spare ones that you can use."
"I don't think I can afford them though." Sora said, remembering all of his items are now gone.
"Oh right, your money is gone as well, perished with those bags." Hikari thought for a while, and then answered. "Hmm... T-then how about, I'll buy them for you?"
"Is that really okay? I'm fine with what I'm wearing. Besides, I can earn it myself." Sora said, a bit guilty with what she offered.
"Nonsense! I don't want you going out looking like that!" Hikari sternly told him.
Sora wondered why Hikari was being this nice to him. Despite only meeting him recently.
"A-ahem... I mean, I don't want you to go out like that without proper attire. People will not... they won't..." Hikari remembered a memory that she didn't want to remember, something to be left behind, yet it always crawled back. "They won't... like it, that's all..." She said, her face looking down.
"Hm?" Sora got confused by her demeanor at first but noticed her sad expression, and got worried that he might have awakened a hurtful memory. He decided to take a turn from the topic. "R-right! You're right! It's better than going out with ripped out clothes! How about I let you be the one to decide on what I wear? Yeah, how about that?"
Hearing what Sora said, her eyes quickly sparkled, she looked up at him. "Really?! You'll let me make you wear anything I want?!"
Wanting to make Hikari forget the previous conversation, Sora accepted it positively. "Y-yeah, sure. Whatever you want, I'll wear them."
"Oh! I have so much to-!... A-ahem..." Hikari's cheeks reddened after realizing what she was doing again. Looking away from Sora. "R-right, I'll have to get a measure for your clothes." Moving a bit stiffly, she took a measuring tape from a drawer. Ready to measure Sora. After an awkward silent measuring later, Hikari wrote it all on a piece of paper, saving it for later.
It was now 10:00pm, with Sora sitting up in bed looking at the night sky, stars visible. Despite his protest in sleeping on the couch, Hikari wanted him to sleep on her bed as she thinks that Sora comes first due to her discovery of him yesterday when he was lying down on the street, pale.
'Although I woke up late in the day, it felt like it had been a long day.' Sora thought, looking at the moon shining through the window. 'Hikari... She sure is an interesting person. From embarrassment, to worry, and to her cheerful ways. Above all else, It seemed like she genuinely cared about me, despite being a stranger.'
Sora then remembered that time when she gave Sora his current pajamas.
#Flashback
At Hikari's room.
Hikari was seen rummaging through her closet. "Hmm... Ah, here it is." She then pulls up, what looks to be a bear costume with a red ribbon near the chest, it also has a hood that has a teddy bear's face attached. "Here it is, my favorite pajamas, I usually wear this for a special night time live stream watch."
Sora got confused by the word live stream. "Live Stream?..." Not knowing, Sora just tilted his head. "What's that?"
"Eh...? Sora, are you perhaps from the countryside?" Hikari asks.
"Umm... Well, I am an islander, so, I guess..." Sora answered, looking above with a hand on his chin.
"A-ah, I gotcha, that makes sense." Hikari said, now understanding why Sora doesn't know what it is. "Umm... Well, a live stream is something done on the internet, where you watch videos of someone live, or currently at the present."
"Oh, like a call. But, Internet? What's that?" Sora, asking more questions.
"Right, you don't know the internet either." Hikari, sweat dropped. "Well... The internet is where people can access a bunch of digital information or even buy real products online."
Sora then got more confused. "Digital?... Online?..."
Hikari getting overwhelmed, decided to move on from it. "M-maybe I'll teach you those later. Right now, let's try and see if this pajama will fit you. But first, you should probably take a bath." She then pointed towards where the bathroom was. "My bathroom is just near the entrance of my room. Umm... You can use my supplies there, it's okay."
"Okay, I'll do just that. Thanks." Sora took the Pajama Hikari held and went to the bathroom.
After a while, Sora came out wearing the bear Pajamas. Looking at it, he said. "Very Comfy."
"Great, it fits nicely, like I measured. You can use that in the meantime. I'll take your clothes and clean them off later. See if it can be fixed as well." Hikari said, relieve that the Pajamas fitted.
Feeling blessed. Sora decided to speak onto it. "Hey, Hikari. Thanks for this. You really made me feel welcomed here, and even helped me as if we've known each other for a while now."
Feeling a tint of red appear on Hikari's cheeks, she responded humbly, waving her hands, still not used to the praises. "A-Ah, Sora, no need. I'm just helping you like I said, because you needed it."
"No, I gotta return the favor someday." Sora said, wanting to return the help.
"But-" Hikari wanted to reject, but before she could continue.
"It's fine, Hikari. I just want to repay you for all you've done to me." Sora said, sincerely.
"W-well, if you insist." Hikari gave in.
"Hm." Sora said as he nodded with a smile.
After that, Hikari continued rummaging through her closet to find clothes that Sora could wear.
#Flashback end
Sora's eyes navigated through the room. He saw different items with different characters on them that he didn't know. One had Rabbit ears with carrots on her hair that served as a sit pillow, the other one being a pinked haired Shrine maiden that served as the carpet, there were also tons of posters in the room that showed different characters that Sora doesn't know anything about. There were also, what seems to be figurines of many of these characters around the room. Sora wondered who they were, because it seemed like they were important to her.
Looking once more outside the window. The moonlight shone through it, illuminating the buildings around, as well as the room Sora's in. The sky had little to no clouds blocking them. The view was beautiful and it reminded Sora of his adventures between many worlds. Despite not being with his friends, he felt welcomed in this home due to Hikari, but it would be a lie to say he didn't miss them. 'I don't think they need me anymore, everyone should be fine on their own. I trust them. But, I do miss them...'
Sora looked around to see if it was safe. "I guess it's time." With one last look, he got out of bed. He then summoned his Keyblade, and opened up a gate outside the world. "It should be fine even without a Gummiship, I'm alone. Besides, I'm just gonna check." He entered it, leaving an empty room behind.
At the same time in another room...
Hikari was lying down on a couch in her living room, still awake, thinking about the day, and Sora. She was wearing her Pajamas after taking a bath of her own, and was also holding a plushie of a brown haired girl with a star clip on her hair. Hikari was covered by a blanket and was laying her head on a pillow.
'As I thought, I'm really not good at talking to people... When was the last time I had an enjoyable conversation, I can't even remember...' Hikari then became Anxious. 'W-what if he thinks I'm weird? With how I fangirl at almost all of the things I find amazing and fascinating. I can't blame him for thinking I'm weird.' She then realized something. 'I just remembered, he's in my room, something that I don't show anyone to! All of my figurines, my posters, and my merch, all of it are in there!!! If those reasons weren't enough for him to think I'm weird, then with that, he clearly thinks I'm weird!!!'
Hikari then covers her face with her hands, embarrassed by all the events that transpired with Sora. 'I just had to bring him home! This is the first time I've talked to someone personally, usually I just talk to people for school work and such, not like this. And yet, here I am, going my way to bring someone home, a stranger of all people. Why did I do this to myself?!...'
After a while, Hikari calmed down, lowering her hands, and thought more about her interactions with Sora. 'But, Sora... He brings a warm inviting presence whenever I talk to him, as if he doesn't mind my faults. He helped me, someone he doesn't even know, and he seems genuinely worried about me. Is this what it feels like to have a friend?... The feeling of someone who truly cares for you...' She tried to recall anyone who was like that with her.
Hikari then softly laughed a bit. "Pfft... Ahaha. And this is the first time I met someone who doesn't even know what the internet is. Even my grandpa knows what it is. I guess there are people out there that are like that." Feeling a warmth spreading in her heart, she looks toward her room where Sora is, and with a warm expression on her face, she said. "I think... I want to be his friend..."
As Hikari said those, her eyes began to tire, and she fell asleep.
Author's Notes (You can skip it):
For anyone who doesn't know, Hikari is the protagonist of HoloEarth. She's the default model for the player. Besides that, she also appeared in the 2nd Hololive Alternative PV. Although, she doesn't have a name yet, so I decided to give her one.
Note: Many elements for the HoloVerse are mostly assumptions for now.
Schedule for the next chapter:
Unknown (I got a break, so I might release it early. But I am still kind of stressed out due to my internship, so it's still unknown.)
Thank you all for reading this chapter and story. I really appreciate everyone who followed and hearted my story, including following and favoriting me. It let's me know that someone out there cares enough to do them and read this story, and I want to thank you for it. Really, thank you.
Comment Replies:
keybladelight: I'm not exactly sure if the HoloVerse is a full data verse. There might be some that I missed though, but from the Alternative mangas, some things on it seem to suggest it is made of data, something like The Matrix or Alicization situation. But, then I read the HoloX manga, and it says, in another universe, so it could be, or it could not be. Although, I'm guessing it is, just a data multiverse.
KeybladeHero05: Thanks for the praise and patience. I think you deserve the shout-out for, inspiring me, and motivating me to make this story. You also motivated me to create stories in general, so I want to thank you.
That's all for now. Hikari, out!
