Survival
Chapter Ten
Two days later
The White House along with the president were able to settle the international issue with the Kremlin. The Siberian Tiger had been called back to their home port after they were able to drop off the London Science Institute team members all but two. Since the two women not including Louise will be buried with their bodies to be transported back to London.
Doctor Mendez and his wife Louise were glad that they were on board the Seaview with their quarters below the officers. Admiral Nelson had to finish up by talking to Captain Richter inside his quarters to go over the final plans for the release.
Captain Richter had been finishing up his coffee and sandwiches before heading back to the Siberian Tiger. A vote had been taken on board the submarine to head out to deep sea instead of going home to Russia. They knew that their punishment was going to be harsh by the Kremlin.
Admiral Nelson had gotten up from his seat to contact Captain Lee Crane to escort Captain Richter back to his submarine. Even though a security detachment will be with him. "Good luck, Captain Richter with your new adventure?" Nelson had to say to the Russian Captain.
"I will be needing it, Admiral Nelson. My crew and I will try to be profitable regarding the black market and other interests away from the Kremlin." Captain Richter had to say. Even though he was scared as hell, anything could happen out at sea without any protection from his own country.
He was being escorted back to his submarine the Siberian Tiger. Even though a few of his officers refused to work with Richter. They had decided to defect to the United States with Admiral Nelson to help the five including his second-in-command.
Meanwhile, once the Captain was escorted out of the Admiral's office. Doctor Mendez and his wife were released by Doctor Jamieson. They were brought to Nelson's office to talk and have something to eat.
The young steward was asked by Nelson to ask Doctor Mendez and his wife Louise whether or not they were interested in having something to eat.
"Yes, sir, I am really hungry as with Louise." Doctor Mendez had to say with Admiral Nelson smiling.
"Very well Doctor, I have placed six different food choices on the table. " The steward named Ashton aged 24 years old.
It was at this point both the doctor and his wife started to enjoy themselves a great deal after leaving the Siberian Tiger and the abuse they had to take from the Russians.
"Admiral Nelson, what is going to happen with the Russian submarine?" Doctor Mendez had to ask with a serious tone while munching on a turkey sandwich in front of him.
Admiral Nelson will say the following to his friend for the most part. "Captain Richter tells me that his crew voted to head out to sea to work the Black Market instead and avoid having to be punished by the Kremlin and most of all killed."
These words had given Louise a chill down her back while eating a piece of watermelon on her plate. "That's horrible Harriman!" she cried out in her response.
"I agree with you," Nelson remarked while drinking his coffee.
"By the way Harriman, how are Chief Sharkey and Kowalski after being found?" Doctor Mendez had to ask the question.
Nelson placed his coffee cup back onto the table before answering. "They will need to talk with Doctor Alverez further before they can head back to duty. Even though both of the men insist they are fine." he barked slightly.
"That's too bad Admiral." Louise will say calmly finishing up the last of the watermelon into her mouth.
"I know for sure that Chief Sharkey is going to get the to-doctor his mind about letting them go back to work. He spent almost 16 years in the Navy before coming to the Seaview." Nelson says with pride for his friend.
"And what about the Siberian Tiger, Harriman?" Doctor Mendez asked nicely.
Nelson exhaled slightly before bothering to answer the question. "From what Captain Richter had told me. His crew along with himself have decided to leave the Soviet Union to work for themselves," he says.
"It's a shame Admiral Nelson that those soldiers won't be able to see their families at all after what they had done." Louise had commented to her husband and Nelson before there was a knock on the door.
Getting up from his chair in his office. Nelson moves to his quarters door to see that it is Captain Lee Crane. "
Lee Crane had come from the Control Room after Richter had gone abroad to the Siberian Tiger. "Admiral, I had made sure that Captain Richter was escorted abroad by the Siberia Tiger."
"Good. They should be moving off once Captain Richter gives the order," he tells the Admiral looking over at Doctor Mendez and his wife Louise. "But in the meantime Lee, let's get heading back to Santa Barbara," he tells him with a smile on his face.
"I will get right on it, sir. Afterward, I will have Commander Anderson take over for me to get some rest." Lee turned to leave the Admiral's quarters.
"Good night, Lee," Nelson tells him turning to face his friends.

CONCLUSION
Two weeks later was the funeral of the two female science personnel abused and killed on the Siberia Tiger. Their families had requested that both of the ladies be cremated with their urns given to the family members. Doctor Mendez and his wife Louise had found out after several checks by the medical doctors that the fetus she was carrying continued to grow so far without any complications after what happened on board the submarine.
They had attended the ceremony of those families with the loss of the two women in London after the Seaview had dropped them off in Santa Barbara.
They had settled into life once again. Even though Doctor Mendez and his wife decided to take some time off to recover from the episode with the Russian submarine and Captain Richter.
As for the Siberia Tiger and its renegade crew. So far after making contact with the Black Market groups out at Sea. Everyone was happy with the results of making a profit. Except for the fact that the Kremlin had put out an order to either kill or destroy everyone on board the submarine.
Their families had tried to put out a protest against the Russian government to try and change their minds by bringing them home safe and sound. It was going to take some time for the President of Russia to make his overall decision on those living on the Siberia Tiger.
