Tubby's Notes:

Name: Barbara Pegg

Occupation: Deaconess and self-proclaimed popstar

Profile: Wholesome. She's bright, charismatic, optimistic, and sometimes clumsy. She enjoys singing, especially to brighten everyone around her. Devout, kind, there's not much chance she'll cause problems in the Teapot.

At least, I hope not.

Aether had no idea what to expect when he came to collect Barbara for their date. She answered the door wearing her summertime sparkle outfit. It really showed off her legs and hips. Aether did his best not to stare and probably failed, judging by the way she chuckled.

Ushering him inside, they shared a lovely breakfast. Then, Barbara declared, "Honorary Knight? Please, rest your head in my lap."

He blinked, confused by the request. Barbara marched over to her couch and ushered he sit beside her. Those gleaming eyes and tempting thighs did it for him. Aether lied down, resting the back of his head atop those soft thighs.

Barbara untied her pigtails. Aether gasped. Wavy blonde hair fell past her shoulders, changing her from an adorable popstar to a gorgeous, elegant woman. He felt truly blessed to see her like this.

Barbara hummed a lilting melody. Her melodious voice began to sing.

"As the stars start to align, I hope you'll take it as a sign, that you'll be okay. Everything will be okay."

"And if the seven rings collapse, although the day might be my last, you will be okay. When I'm gone you'll be okay."

She brushed his temples with a truly tender hand. Her healing touch relaxed the tension in his forehead. Every single trouble he had became distant, unimportant.

"And when creation goes to die, you can find me in the sky, upon the last day. And you will be okay."

Gazing up into Barbara's gentle, loving smile calmed his worried mind. Here, nothing would harm him. Here, he had no worries. And her voice—utterly hypnotic. Barbara hummed once more.

"Where the light shines upon the Sakura,

"Where the wind sings a song of the past,

"Where you call out the name of a loved one's soul,

"Where you find what your heart yearns for,"

"Around you the thunder drums into the shaking ground,

"Eternity rose up at shore,

"As a melody glides on rain drops across the land,

"Let the dust settle on what's lost,"

"Like the short life of Sakura petals,

"They bend down under eternity,

"But they will bloom again as spring greets us which, once more, shall be a begin."

Aether yawned. Barbara just smiled.

"Rest," she said. "You're safe here."

"Okay," he said. "But… you're sleeping in my lap… next."

He drifted to sleep before he could hear her reply. His chest rose and fell. Peace overtook his whole body. Lulled by her voice, he fell deeper and deeper into that blissful rest. Even in his dreams, her lovely voice remained. And thus, Barbara hypnotized him and gave her number one fan the most wonderful rest he'd ever known.
