Tubby's Notes:
Name: Beidou
Occupation: Fleet Captain
Profile: Easygoing, powerful, and just a bit Tsundere, Beidou is pleasant company. Oddly approachable despite her station. She'd be quite wholesome. Except, she loves recreational drinking, sex, and three-ways with Ningguang. Not as deplorable as Yae Miko, but still quite wild.
Powerful, strong, she'd be a problem if she weren't so easy going. That and, she has a very noble heart. She's rescued many vessels that get trapped in storms.
Lightning exploded from the heavens. Down on the ocean, the waverider crested a giant wave and crashed to the trough. Beidou clenched her teeth, grimacing as the hull groaned ominously. She held tight to the wheel, determined not to fail. Beside her, Aether manned the headlights. His eyes glanced from the monstrous storm outside to the sonar screen. Bless his heart, he wasn't scared.
"We're getting closer, captain!" he cried.
"Hang on," she grimaced. "I'm not sure, how much more we can take."
A wave sent them airborne. As they crashed down, the glass cracked. The headlight shattered. Now, they were blind.
Beidou cursed. This was supposed to be a fun little outing with her man. She didn't expect such a violent storm.
Any sane sailor would've made for port at the first sign. She had started back, when out on the waters, a distress flare. Beidou never ignored an SOS.
Their waverider couldn't handle a storm like this.
Lightning. For a moment, the darkness became blinding light. For a moment, they could see the towering waves around them like wicked serpents. Between the waves, they spotted the rowboat spinning like a top. Beidou plowed ahead.
The light vanished. Relying solely on instinct, she sailed onward. Beidou estimated the distance. As they drew closer, she pushed Aether to the wheel. "Keep this heading!"
She secured a lifeline around her waist, grabbed a cable, and raced onto the deck. Rain pelted her. Its sheer volume sounded more like a roaring beast than water. Beidou shielded her eyes and made her way up the stern.
They came abreast the rowboat. She hurled the cable, watching it fly into the darkness. Long seconds passed. Her heart sank. Suddenly the cable went taut. Beidou tugged in the line. It was like pulling against Mount Hulao. Her arms screamed. Her shoulders may have popped. But Beidou wouldn't give up. She kept pulling.
A huge wave smacked the waverider. She stumbled, losing her grasp. The cable flew out beneath her and she had to reach out and grab it. The line kept shifting in her grasp, burning her bare palms. A scream rose up within her, but she swallowed it. Beidou reeled them in, bit by bit.
The rowboat came up beside them. Its passengers: an elderly man and a child. Beidou could see their faces, awash with fear. She wouldn't fail them.
Suddenly, he was beside her. Aether helped her reel in the boat. Working together, they pulled the boat alongside them. Without wasting a second, Beidou leapt. She landed on the boat, grabbed the old man and his grandson, and hurtled back onto the waverider. No sooner had she landed, then the little rowboat snapped in half. It sunk beneath the merciless waves.
Beidou took the gray-haired man by the shoulder and his hand, guiding him towards the deck. Aether got the little boy. Once they closed that door, Beidou spat out mouthfuls of water.
"Aether," she choked, "the Teapot!"
"I can't pull it out on the water!"
They all shivered, utterly drenched and freezing. Nobody could move. Even so, Beidou made herself take that wheel. The waverider swerved around making its way back.
Then disaster struck. Their boat flew off a wave, crashed down hideously, and the hull cracked. The hull had been compromised. They only had minutes now.
"We'll never reach the harbor like this!" Aether exclaimed.
"We don't have to," Beidou replied.
Lightning split the sky, revealing the distant peaks of Guyun Stone Forest. Behind them, the swelling of a tidal wave. Beidou let the ship slack, just a little, rising up the tidal wave. They went further and further back. She concentrated. The ship crested the wave. As the tower of water began pushing, Beidou rode the tidal wave. Their ship rocketed ahead at a breakneck speed, flying off the wave and into the open air.
Her stomach became weightless. They were a heron soaring through bolts of lightning.
Somebody screamed—she wasn't sure who. They came down hard. Water erupted around them. The boat skipped, skipped, skipped atop the waters. Each skip tore away chunks of their boat. The prow fell apart, and the waverider careened out of control. The window shattered. Rain and broken glass showered them, but Beidou didn't flinch.
They came down one final time, landing on sand. The waverider slid several meters along before tilting onto its portside. Nobody spoke.
Then, Aether got out the Serenitea Pot and got everyone inside. Beidou only relaxed when she saw the old man and his son were safe from the storm. Then, she fell over and took a nap.
The next week, Beidou must've seen a dozen doctors. Between Barbara, Baizhu, and Sigewinne, she was losing track of how many looked her over. Miraculously, she'd gotten out unscathed aside from her rugburn palms. A little ointment and they felt good as new.
Beidou lied in bed for most of it, but she got restless. And a little disappointed about how her date went. A shame. She'd been looking forward to spending time with Aether. Nature sure foiled that plan.
She sighed.
Just then, the door creaked open. Baizhu entered, along with Aether. The doctor took her temperature and gave her an examination. Aether never once left her side.
The green-haired pharmacist nodded his approval.
"You're recovering well. One last thing."
He reached into his medical bag, producing a cardboard container filled with a translucent sand.
"Bath salts," he explained. "Soak in them for three days straight."
Beidou eyed the medication skeptically. "Not your usual stuff."
"Yes well, I received a shipment from Inazuma. A certain shrine maiden thought you'd find these useful."
Beidou stifled her chuckle, averting her face so Baizhu wouldn't see her blushing. She had a pretty good idea why Miko gave them bath salts. Pervy fox, but damn she was grateful.
Baizhu departed.
Then, Aether picked her up like a princess. Now, Beidou really blushed. She killed Haisshan, controlled a whole fleet of loyal sailors—she never felt so important.
He brought her outside towards a hot spring. There, he lay her down on a stool. Beidou stripped down. Aether admired her luscious curves. His eyes lingered on her breasts, memorizing their teardrop shape.
"Hey," she barked. "You getting naked or what?"
Aether quickly threw off his clothes. Now, she got to appreciate his body. Despite his small stature, he had well-defined muscles. A six-pack, broad chest, and an ass Beidou liked a whole lot.
They doused one another with buckets of water. Once clean, Aether poured the bath salts into the steaming pool. They settled beside each other on the lowest steps. Beidou sighed with relief as the warm water worked its wonders upon her aches and sores.
The pair sat there, totally exposed in the bubbling pond.
After a while, Beidou said, "Sorry about the date. Didn't know there'd be a storm."
"I'm glad we were out there. Those people would've died without you."
Aether regarded her with nothing short of supreme admiration. Beidou smiled.
"Without us. A captain's nothing without her first mate."
Aether squirmed embarrassedly, in a way that she found truly adorable. Moved by the moment, Beidou wound her arm around his shoulder and drew him closer. She lay his head against her breast, enjoying his little gasp.
"You're alright," she said. "Next time, I promise, we'll do something a little less crazy."
Aether wrapped his arms around her waist. He planted her on his lap and guided her head to rest against his strong chest. His fingers combed her long brown hair. Beidou purred. He stroked his hand down along her breast, down her flank, and caressed her thigh.
Leaning over, he kissed her full on the lips. Beidou felt his cock harden beneath her. She opened her mouth, taking him deeper. The cock grew harder. Inside her an unbearable itch grew, unquenchable and ravenous.
They broke for air. Aether let out a grin. "I'll sail anywhere with you, captain."
"Glad I can count on you, first mate."
The fellow sailors went on another wild ride. This one, far gentler, and a lot more fun. When they finished, they fell asleep amidst the hot springs' serene waves.
