…...
Matsuri was walking down the hallway alongside with Meiko as the two were carrying a stack of papers. The two walked past numerous female students who were looking at the vice president with sparkles in their eyes, while some were giving Matsuri the stink eye.
While Matsuri did get used to the stare, he still felt somewhat distraught from their stare and complete distrust.
"Thank you for helping me with these papers, Hitoyoshi." She said as she looked over her shoulder at the boy.
"O-Oh! I-It's fine. I mean, I am a temporary member, so the least I can do is help out my members."
Meiko didn't reply as she faced forward ahead of them. The boy raised a brow. Usually she would just completely respond with a little harsh sentence here and there, or even say things like 'don't get comfy with me just because you're in the council,' or anything at all along the line. But nothing.
As the two make it to the council office, Meiko opens the door and allows Matsuri in first. The boy made his way into the office and took notice of the first thing, something was not right. Mari nor Hana are not present in the office.
"Um…..V-Vice President, where is Madam President and Hana?"
"They're out." She simply said as she closed the door behind her back. Locking the door. Her eyes hid behind the glare of her glasses.
"O-Out? Out where? And why did you lock the doors?" He asked nervously as he setted the papers on the desk.
"What do you mean?" Meiko asked in a rather low seductive tone. "You don't want to stay alone with me?"
Matsuri started to sweat. "Um…..w-well…..n-no I…...um….."
Meiko makes a small cute laugh. "My goodness, your acting is rather strange today…..Matsuri~." She said as she walked over to one of the couches to the side. Her hips swayed from side to side. Her skirt fluttered upward from the draft that she was making from just small steps.
Matsuri swallowed. His eyes were completely glued to her hips, the way they hit against the skirt she wore with each step. The boy quickly faced the opposite direction. His heart was pumping fast from the excitement.
"What's wrong?" Meiko asked in her strange yet very alluring tone. The boy faced her again, only to find her face up close in his. Her brown eyes stared into his. "Do you resent me that much, Matsuri?" She breathed.
"N-No! I mean…..w-wait. Did you….did you just call me by my first name?"
"Oh? That is your name after all. Dummy~." She said as she poked him in the nose.
The boy let out a squeak, he covered his mouth in shock. His face flushed red with embarrassment. This was too weird! Why was she acting like this!? Where is Mari and Hana!? Is this a trap!? Is this another method of the council to get him thrown in prison with the boys!?
"V-V-Vice President!? Why are you acting like this!?" He asked with nervousness.
"Hmm~. Well that's a dumb question. I just want to spend some time with the boy who captured my heart."
"Huh!?"
Meiko grabbed the boy's hand and brought her to her massive bosom. His hand pushed against the soft mountains. The palm of his hand grabbed a handful of her soft flesh. Matsuri's face donned a complete crimson red as he felt her chest, the center of his palm felt her nipple that poked against his hand.
"Do you feel it, Matsuri? My heart…...my heart is racing." She gripped his hand tighter.
"I-I-I…...um….M…..I….." He was completely lost for words. His vision started to become blurred. Sweat poured against his skin.
"Admit it. You love me, Matsuri~."
The boy quickly shakes his head in denial. "Um….I-I think I need to-"
Whatever he was about to say was immediately blocked, as Meiko grabbed his head from behind and pulled him in between her massive bosom. His field of vision was obscured, all he saw was a massive wall of Meiko breasts.
"Now, now." She said, the boy's eyes looked at the tall amazon woman as her eyes looked at him seductively and were now heart shaped and pink. "There's no need to rush, Ma-tsu-ri~."
She spun both their bodies around and Matsuri went back to the couch. She tackled him to the couch, he was trapped under the body of the grey hair vice president. His back was now against the couch under him. He looks up at Meiko who positioned her body on top of his. Her thigh rubbed against his skin.
From below, where Matsuri was, he could barely see her face that was obscured from her massive bosom. His heart began to beat even faster from the excitement.
"You can feel it too, Matsuri?" She asked. Her tone becomes dangerously seductive. "That beating in your chest…...I too can feel it. On my own."
"M-M-Meiko?"
"Just give in. Just let yourself go." She said as she unleashed the bun on top of her head, unleashing her rather long hair, she then leaned in closer to Matsuri's face. Her hair strands fell to the side of Matsuri's face, blocking any sides of his view. He only sees the brown eyes of Meiko.
"B-B-But….."
"Shh. Just let go Matsuri…...and admit…" She says. Her bosom squished against his clothed chest. Her lips are inches closer to his. "...that you love…...me."
…..
Matsuri's body shot up with a sharp gasp. Sweat poured against his skin, his eyes wide as plates as he looked at his surroundings. His face was still flushed red from the dream he just had. His hand reached his chest, he felt it. His heart was pumping fast.
"I-It was just a dream…..it was a dream…" He repeated himself.
His mind traces back to yesterday when the vice president inspected his room, that little struggle they had with the box, that led to an incident to the both of them ending up on the bed…...in a very awkward position.
"I…..I…..I touched her…" He remembered how soft she felt through her clothes. Her breathing, the way she looked at him…...it all felt strange but…...arousing.
Matsuri blushed again and brought his hands to his face. His back plopped against the bed, until his body was facing towards the ceiling. He groaned in frustration. He really shouldn't be thinking of the vice president like this! It would only lead to trouble! He never meant for any of that to happen that night!
"No doubt I'll be in trouble if she tells her what happened last night!" He whined. His body turned on his bed facing the desk, the clock says 7:00am.
"I…..I need to apologize when I get the chance."
…..Courtyard…..
April 28th Thursday (9 Days Until Operation Breakout)
9:00am
Meiko was standing tall, her arms crossed under her bosom as she was in deep thoughts. The event that happened yesterday was rather an…...interesting experience.
It was just supposed to be a smooth inspection through Matsuri's room, to find anything that would prove that he is just the same as the other boys they are looking over. But that operation turned into a rather….stimulating experience.
Meiko had a small blush upon her cheeks, remembering that moment when the boy's hand felt her chest. She remembered how the boy was on top of her, how they were looking at each other for a moment or so, his breathing matched hers.
Her heart began to pump faster just from remembering that stimulating experience.
"Vice President?"
"Huh!?"
Meiko turned to see Hana, standing next to her with a curious look. "You okay?"
"Huh!? Um…..y...yes I am fine! Why do you ask?"
"Well…" Hana's eyes shifted to her left. Meiko followed suit as she noticed that the boys were still standing in line, all of their eyes were on the grey hair girl.
Meiko had a fierce blush upon her cheeks as she gripped her whip. "W-WHY ARE YOU GUYS JUST STANDING THERE! GET BACK TO WORK!" She yells as she slams her whip down onto Gakuto.
The glasses-wearing boy winced in pain as he rubbed the top of his head. "P-Pray Lady Vice President, y-you never gave us an order….."
"What!?"
"It's true." Kiyoshi agreed with his partner-in-crime. "You just stood there acting strange. Almost like you were thinking about something….."
Meiko flinches. Her sweat began to intensify, pouring against her bare skin, creating a pool underneath her feet. Her cheeks flushed red in embarrassment. Range of emotion switched from embarrassment, anger, and blown out rage.
She makes a mad dash towards Gakuto as she grabs both of his cheeks and brings his face to her knee. Blood flew from his nose and a tooth came loose from his mouth. His body fell on his back to the hard ground. Her eyes looked at the rest of the boys.
"STOP GAWKING AT ME GET TO WORK!" She bellows as the boys scramble to their work space. Gakuto quickly followed Kiyoshi to their workplace by the wreckage.
Meiko breathed heavily. Sweat was still pouring against her skin, her cheeks felt hot. She waltzed over to the building and laid her back against the wall. She grabbed her face, trying her best to calm herself down.
"Vice President?" Hana walked over to her friend. "Is everything okay? I can take over if you like."
"I….I'm fine…..it just…..I'm just…...a little tired that's all….."
"...you sure?"
"Yeah….." She said, her eyes fluttered to her feet. She could not tell her what happened. "I'm really fine Hana, thank you."
Hana brought her finger to her lips in a cutesy way. "So what do you think of Matsuri?"
Meiko flinched. "N-Nothing happened between us!" She quickly said.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"Wha!? I mean….well…" She was stumbling on her words. The embarrassed amazon woman cleared her throat. "What do you mean?"
"I was talking about that whole thing we were talking about this morning. You know…..his previous life at his old school." She whispered so that the other boys didn't hear.
Meiko narrowed her eyes. She knew exactly what she was referring to. The incident that occurred at Matsuri old school. That horrendous moment that would immediately send all of the students and staff in panic just if this were leaked out into the public. But on the one hand…..she just couldn't believe it.
Her mind couldn't help but to be transfixed on the boy. From what she can gather, the boy was pretty much just your ordinary boy. He was different from the others, he never got into trouble, he behaved himself, and there was nothing in his room to back up their claim about the boy. She remembered their meeting with the President early this morning.
Earlier this morning…...
"Are you certain, Vice President?" Mari asked with a narrowed brow.
"Y-Yes, Madam President," Meiko said as she was sweating on the spot. "I….I wasn't able t-to find anything that would result in throwing him in prison with the rest of the boys. I-I'm sorry!" Meiko bowed, her sweat drops flew past Mari, over her shoulder.
Hana was sitting in the chair with her chin resting on the palm of her hand. "Are you sure? Maybe you didn't look everywhere."
"I-I'm positive. I've searched everywhere in the room, nothing out of the ordinary. I'm very sorry! I failed the Underground Student Council!"
Mari crossed her arms under her ample chest. This was proving to be quite more difficult than she anticipated. She swore she would find anything that could prove Matsuri being the same as the five boys they were observing in the prison. Those words that her father said to her came back to her. Perhaps he was different from the boys…..was she wrong…
She shook her head. She refused to believe that Matsuri is a good-natured boy at heart. No matter how much he shows it on the outside, he's still the same as the other boys. And she had just the story to prove it.
"Relax Meiko," Mari said, getting the grey-haired teenager's attention. "He may not have anything in his room. But we still have one method up our sleeves."
"O-Our sleeves?" Meiko said as she raised up, looking at the crow master with concerned eyes.
"Yes." She made a victorious smirk. "I've done some investigation on Hitoyoshi's background. And I stumbled onto something interesting."
"Oh~." Hana said with an intrigued look. "Like what?"
Mari looks at her two friends. "Have you guys heard of the event that happened at the high school in Tokyo, back in March?"
"I-If I recall, there was such an incident that I have heard of. It was during the month of graduation, a student council killed herself."
"Killed herself?" Hana said with a curious look. "But why?"
"In the story," Mari gained their attention. "It was said that the student council, Yoshimiya Kagekuri, numerous photos of her naked were shown across the school." The two garnered shock expressions. "Rumors started to spread about her, and soon, she killed herself, by jumping off of the building."
"That's horrible." Meiko said with a sympathetic look.
Hana wore an enraged look. "Who the hell would do that!?"
"They don't know. But…...I have a good idea who took those photos…"
"Y-You do…..but…...wait. Don't tell me it's-"
"Again, this is just an idea, but I can guess it's 'good little male' Matsuri."
The two wore similar expressions. Hana had a surprised nervous look, while Meiko wore an almost similar face to Hana, but she was more shocked and concerned. Was it Matsuri? Did he really take those photos? Does he possess that type of personality?
"Wait a minute!? That scaredy cat Hitoyoshi is that type of guy!?" Hana said with a shocked expression.
"It would appear so…"
"Then let's throw him in prison before he does something to us or any of the other female students!" Hana said in a desperate tone.
"Not yet."
"Huh!?"
"I want to confirm it first, before we gain the opportunity."
"I don't see why we can't just throw him in prison now! I-I mean think about it! We have all that we have to throw him in the prison!"
"Calm down Hana," Mari said as she crossed her arms under her chest. "I've been doing some more research, there was something that bothered me during my research. When they wrote the article about the incident, they left Matsuri out of the picture."
"They left him out?" Meiko said with a nervous tone.
"Yes."
"But why would they just go and do that?"
"I don't know. But I'm going to get some answers…..today…..from Hitoyoshi."
"Then when he finally admits it….." Hana said with her fist pumped in the air.
"We will have the time to strike. You two continue to watch over the boys, I'll handle Hitoyoshi myself."
"Becareful Madam President." Meiko said with a little sweat.
"I will. You two watch yourself as well."
Back to the Present…...
"To actually think he actually did that…..bet he doesn't care about anything he did to that Yoshimiya girl one bit."
Meiko didn't say anything. Her mind was too transfixed on the boy that they are mentioning. This just felt to be thrown out of the blues. There were questions she had that didn't feel connected to Matsuri.
"Oh well, once we get him to confess, it won't be long before we can throw him in prison with the other boys."
"...don't you…." Meiko whispered under her breath.
"Huh?"
"Don't you think this is too much trouble?"
"What do you mean? Aren't you excited that we can finally throw him in prison where he belongs?"
Meiko's cheeks heated up as her sweat started up again. "D-Don't get me wrong! I wish to throw him in prison as much as you do…...b-but…..I feel like…..that this all seems unnecessary….."
"Meiko?"
"I mean, I was shocked when I heard about the incident, but the whole idea of Matsuri being part of it…..don't you think this seems a little…..tad too much. Digging into someone else's life and all."
"...well…..I mean it does seem too much trouble by digging into someone's life and all…..I mean it is his privacy…...but we're doing this for the sake of the school and the students."
"Y…..You're right…...I'm sorry Hana. It's just that….never mind."
"Relax Meiko, the sooner we get him to confess the better."
"You're right…" Meiko cleared her throat. "Anyways, let us continue with our work."
"Right!" She saluted as she took off to her post.
Unknowest to them, Jo was listening in throughout their conversation. He coughed low to not make himself noticed by the council.
"Hitoyoshi…..taking naked photos…"
Several minutes passed, and Kiyoshi and Gakuto were working over at the refuse waste area. While Hana was busy keeping watch of them as they continued rebuilding the structure.
Kiyoshi walks over towards the spot next to Gakuto. "Hey, do we seriously need to think of something? We can't keep working on the hole if Hana is still here."
"Indeed. If only Matsuri-dono were out of class early, then we could have worked on the hole to make it even bigger." Gakuto whispered.
"I mean, I was able to make it a little bigger when Matsuri was guarding us, but….." Kiyoshi was pondering for a bit. Will they even make this plan work? "Hey Gakuto, I've been thinking about this for a while…..but even if we are able to do this. I don't know if Matsuri can distract both of them for 3 hours."
Gakuto's eyes shifted to Hana who was looking at the book upon her knees. "You're right. Then let us even the playing field shall we….." He said with a victorious smirk.
Kiyoshi looked at him. "H-How?"
"Simple….." Gakuto stood tall. He puffed out his chest with pride. "I'm gonna take her as my bride."
"...huh?" Kiyoshi said with a deadpan look.
"If we can't remove her, the only way is to turn her into a friend. And the fastest way for that is to make her fall for me." He said as he straightened out his hair in stylish fashion.
Kiyoshi just looked at him with a plain look. Was this man for real right now? "I'm sorry, I don't follow….I think that's the longest way you can take…."
"Listen to the end." Gakuto waved his hand non-chalet. "According to my profile, girls who like clovers, wear a jersey under her skirt and have blunt bangs are interested in history by a high percentage! Basically, I, with my vast knowledge of history, can make her mine easily."
"Think of another way." Kiyoshi bluntly said.
Gakuto didn't listen as he turned around and prepared to make his move. "No time. I'll put the plan into action."
Kiyoshi tried to stop him but he had already left. "He's a dead man."
As Hana was looking through the book while drinking her tea. Her eyes weren't partially busy looking at the book, but her mind was more distracted by Matsuri. She really could not believe that Matsuri possesses such a lewd personality. If it was true, of course.
If it was true, she would definitely not mind putting him in his place. All of his glances at her grey hair friend should already tell her that he has his next target.
"He better think twice before making a move on any of us."
"Hana-dono!" Her mind snapped back to reality when she took notice of the glasses wearing boy that stood there with a smile on his face. "Well, what chaotic times. I'm talking about the beginning of the three kingdoms on the mainland. Chouun, carrying ato, Lord Ryuubi's son, through the army of 1000 soldiers to me that's-" He stopped as soon as blood immediately leaked from his mouth.
Hana drove her fist right into Gakuto's stomach. "Stop spotting nonsense and go back to work!"
The boy waltzed over to Kiyoshi as he was holding his stomach that was in aching pain.
"I….I was surprised by that development."
"I'm surprised that it went exactly like I imagined."
Gakuto had tears in his eyes. "We have tried everything…..our dream is over…." He cried dramatically.
"It's too early to give! And beside…..I have…...I have an idea." He said as he was dancing in place.
Gakuto snapped back to his senses. "Really!? You do!? And why are you dancing?"
Kiyoshi sighed. "I do…..but I'm not going to like it." He said as he stepped forward. His eyes are still downcasting towards his feet. His heart was thumping fast as he took in a deep breath. He raised his hand. "Hana! May I use the bathroom!"
This caught Hana's attention. A small blush formed on her cheeks. As if her mind on Matsuri finally disappeared as her full attention was now on the boy in front of her.
"Kiyoshi-dono…..how is going to the bathroom a good idea?" Gakuto was rather confused by his partner-in-crime's sudden behavior of going to the bathroom.
"Just trust me…."
"Permission granted." She said immediately.
Kiyoshi saw the looks in her eyes, he was suddenly having second thoughts. "Um…..huh…..actually I think I-"
"I said….." Hana repeated in a dark tone. "Permission granted."
"What have I done?"
…..Within the school building…..
"Come on, come on! Hurry up! Hurry up!" Etsuko chimed happily as she was pulling Matsuri up the stairs.
"Would you calm down Etsuko! I'm going to trip and fall if you keep up with this pace." He said in a panic tone as he was being pulled by the rather energetic Etsuko.
Once they made it to the second floor, Matsuri throwed himself forward until the last steps stumbled towards the wall. His hand was able to catch himself. Etsuko jumped up the last set of steps and landed on her feet.
"It's been a while since we hung out with each other in person and I didn't want to put this chance to a waste." She said as she grabbed her friend's hand lead him up the stairs.
"Again, we just met a couple days ago! And also, you do know what will happen if anyone catches me hanging out with you, right!?" He said in a breathless tone.
"One! Even if we did meet a couple days back, it's rarely a chance that we get to finally talk face-to-face. And two! I don't care what anyone says, and besides, these friends of mine won't mind you one bit!"
"Huh!?"
…..On the Rooftop…..
"I wonder where she is….." Chiyo said with a curious look as she was eating her food. Her eyes fluttered about as she was looking around the empty rooftop.
Mayumi on the other hand was rather uneasy. "She really got to hurry up, I don't want to get caught up here. I don't know if we're even supposed to be up here." She said with a worried tone.
"Etusko said that we need to eat somewhere in private so we don't cause a ruckus for her new friend."
"Eh? Whose even is her friend? Does she not like crowded areas?"
"Not sure. She didn't mention it. I wonder what type of girl she is?"
"Does it matter?" Mayumi asked with a raised brow.
"Well, aren't you curious? I wonder if she's pretty?" Chiyo's innocent mind was already running. She was off in her own dreamland.
Mayumi on the other hand couldn't help but to sigh at her friend's innocent mindset. Sometimes this girl worries about her. But she did admit, she too was also curious about the mysterious friend that Etsuko was going to bring. She hopes that the girl isn't much of a hassle or some sort. Or worse…..
"I just hope it's not…...well….."
"Hm? Who?" Chiyo snapped back to reality.
"You know…..that one boy who's not in prison." She said with a worried tone.
"Oh, you mean Matsuri?"
"Yeah him."
"I don't see why you're so worried about him? He's not bad."
"Have you talked to him?"
"Well…..huh…...not really."
Mayumi's face paled. "Now I'm worried."
"B-But don't worry! I'm sure it's not Matsuri if that makes you feel better." Chiyo said with an attempted nervous smile.
"YOOHOOO!"
The pair looked towards the door. Etsuko's head popped out from the otherside. Wearing her goofy smile upon her face.
"There you are," Mayumi said with a tired look. "We were wondering where you were. Did you find your friend?"
"You bet! But before I introduce you guys, I want you guys to make my friend feel welcome and not do anything to offend my friend in any way possible."
Mayumi and Chiyo blinked at each other, unsure of their eccentric friend's words. But they knew better than to not question their friend's personality.
"S-Sure…..well where is she?"
Etsuko's smile widened even bigger. Before the pair could blink her body zipped behind the door to grab her "friend". Few seconds passed as she appeared again, this time her whole body was dragging another person out.
"Girls! Say hello to my special friend, Matsuri Hitoyoshi!" She presented the group to a bewildered Matsuri.
Chiyo wore a surprised look as she stared at Etsuko's special friend, while Mayumi wore a pale look on her face, sweat poured against her skin as she looked at the boy. Matsuri was on the similar boat as he found out just who Etusko 's were. And he wished that he never did. Etsuko on the other hand wore the usual goofy happy face.
"...Chiyo….." Mayumi spoke. "...I'm worried."
….Courtyard….
Kiyoshi wore a terrified look on his face as he walked across the field to the bathroom. With Hana walking behind him, wearing her unreadable expression on her face. Her eyes were focused on Kiyoshi who continued at his pace to the bathroom.
Kiyoshi's eyes glanced behind his shoulders and noticed that she was at a good distance between themselves.
"Calm down Kiyoshi, remember you're doing this for Matsuri. He doesn't need to deal with Hana…" He thought to himself. "With Matsuri knowing about our secret, no doubt Hana will attempt to get him to pee in front of her as well…...this is my problem…..I won't make Matsuri go through this." His hand tightened into a fist.
"I got this…..I got this…..I got-" He looks back at Hana whose face still remains fixated on the boy. The air around her gave off a terrifying sensation. Kiyoshi trembled even more. "...I DON'T GOT THIS!"
On that note, Kiyoshi made a mad dash towards the bathroom. He paid no mind to looking behind him as his only sights were forward towards the small building ahead of him. He dared not to look behind him as he made it inside the bathroom! He rushes over to the nearest stall, as soon as he makes it inside, he turns around and immediately closes the door on Hana who was close behind him all the way.
He quickly locks the door and settles against the door. Catching his breath. "I…...I'm safe…...I'm-" His thoughts were cut off as he heard Hana from the other side of the stall. The door rumbled as the girl was doing something on the other side. Before he could ask himself, he spots Hana jumping over the stall. "YOU KIDDING ME!?"
Hana lands on her feet. Kiyoshi could only watch in horror as the girl whom he was trying to get away from was inside the stall…...with him.
"Okay. You can go now." Hana said.
"No! You get out first!"
Hana clenched her teeth. "I'll get out after I see you pee!"
"N-No! I'm not peeing in front of you! Why are you so fixated on this!? Can't you let go of the past!"
"Bullshit! You saw me pee! I'll forgive you if I see you pee!"
Kiyoshi backed up to the corner. He was covering his private area. "I...Yes I know….b..but….." The boy was completely lost for words. He knew what he had to do, but he was too embarrassed to even do so, especially in front of Hana.
Hana was beginning to lose patience as she immediately grabbed Kiyoshi's hands and attempted to remove them from his area.
"Stop being stubborn! Get it out!" Hana exclaimed as she wrestled with the boy.
"Stop! It'll really come out if you keep going at that pace!"
"Duh! That's the point of this dumbass! Now whip it out so I can see!"
Kiyoshi's hands trembled against her force as she wrestled to remove them from his downstairs private area. Tears welled in his eyes as he was starting to feel the pressure from both Hana and his bladder.
"D-Don't push there! I….I'm…"
Hana clenched her teeth again as her patient started to wear once more. Penting up enough force, she forces the boy's arm above him and pinned them against the barrier of the stall. Kiyoshi tried to move, but the girl proved to be stronger than him.
"Now then," Hana breathed as she made a satisfied smile. She lowers her hand down to his gential area. "Be a good boy…..and show me…" She slowly reached for the zipper of his pants.
Kiyoshi could hear the sound of his zipper being undone. His struggle only proved to be in vain as Hana hands were much stronger. He could feel the zipper getting closer to being open, revealing his genitals, showing Hana his private area.
Hana eyes were transfixed on the boy's genitals as it was slowly coming into view. Her breathing became heavy, her eyes trembled in excitement.
Kiyoshi's mind started to swirl. Was this really happening? Was he really going to be showing her, him peeing in front of her!? He panicked.
"No! Stop it! I don't want to!" He yelled as he struggled with his body.
"H-Hey! Stop making a fuss you-" She was cut off as she tripped on her heels. She fell on her bottom, but her hand grabbed his pants and pulled them down along the way. Leaving his bottom area free from the pants.
"Aaaah~." Kiyoshi bladder reached its maximum limit. He let go.
…...Rooftop…..
Matsuri was in an awkward situation. Etsuko invited him to eat lunch with her and her friends. But he never predicted or even foresaw what or who her friends even were. The boy could only have his stare on his food in front of him, not daring to look up.
Chiyo was seated next to her pale and terrified friend, Mayumi. Her eyes couldn't help but to be transfixed on the boy who is their guest. Mayumi on the other hand was scared. She really didn't like the idea of Matsuri being here. She was too scared to not even eat her food. The only one who was not scared was Etsuko, who sat next to Matsuri with a goofy smile with food crumbs on her cheeks.
"...um…" Chiyo was the first to speak up. "T-This is nice."
"I know right!" Etsuko immediately joined in. "It's soo nice that we all get to get along and have fun and eat together!"
"...ha…..ave….fu…" Mayumi was breaking up her words.
"Huh? What's wrong Mayumi?" Chiyo asked her friend.
Mayumi immediately stopped eating and set her food down. The three looked at her, anticipating to see what was wrong. Even though Matsuri could take a wild guess.
"What's wrong? What's wrong?" Mayumi repeated.
"Mayumi?"
"WHAT'S WRONG!?" Her body shot up in the air. Her hands raised behind her head. At the peak she animatedly threw her fists down against her sides in frustration. "THERE'S PLENTY OF THINGS WRONG WITH THIS SCENE HERE AND YOU GUYS ARE TREATING IT LIKE IT'S NOTHING!" She lets out.
The two girls just blinked at her reaction. Completely oblivious to her worries. Matsuri on the other hand gets where she is getting at. He felt guilty for getting her upset.
"Mayumi calm down." Chiyo said.
"Calm down!? CALM DOWN!? YOU OF ALL THE STUDENTS HERE SHOULD KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THEY FIND US CONVERSING WITH A MALE!" She said.
"Is that what you're worrying about?" Etsuko said with a careless smile. "As long as we keep quiet about this, then everything will be fine."
"But what if they find out! More importantly," Mayumi eyed the boy. "What if he's like the other boy's. He could attack us any moment!" She panicked.
Matsuri was visibly hurt from that. The boy's really did a number on their presence here at the school. While he did expect much, he was still hurt from her comment.
Etsuko puffed her cheeks in frustration. "Why'd you say that!? I've known Matsuri for few days and he's the kindest boy I've met!"
"I don't think a few days is enough, Etsuko." Chiyo said with a nervous laugh.
"Um…" Matsuri made himself known to the group. All eyes immediately on him. He took a deep breath. "I….I think I should go."
"Huh!? Don't go! Please stay!" Etsuko pleaded.
"S-Sorry, but…" He said as his eyes were on Mayumi for a brief moment and left immediately. "I….I don't want to cause any trouble."
Mayumi was left dumbfounded. Just a moment ago she was worried if he was going to do anything to them. Anything lewd or perverted. But he was being honest.
"W-Wait, come on, stay. Just stay a little longer."
"Yeah! Mayumi is just scared, that's all! It has nothing to do with you! Well maybe a little-B-But that's not the point!" Etsuko quickly restated herself.
Matsuri made a small smile at them. "I know you guys are trying to cheer me up, but it's fine, really." He said as he was already packing his things. He got up and looked at Mayumi whose eyes were still on the boy. He bowed. "I'm sorry if I'm causing you any trouble. And thank you." He said as he was about to leave.
Etsuko had a small tear in her eyes, she was hoping to hang out with Matsuri some more, no matter how she pleaded. Chiyo was on the similar boat, sure she barely knew him, but if she recalled, Matsuri was one of Kiyoshi's friends, right? He was not in prison like the other boys, so he couldn't possibly be bad right?
"Wait." Mayumi's voice called out. Stopping the boy in his tracks and looking back at the girl who was still standing. "Um…..please don't leave…y-you can stay with us….just for a little longer."
"But…..weren't you scared of me?" Matsuri asked with a sympathetic look.
"I was…but after that…I really don't want to be the villain here…and besides I suppose you're not that bad, I suppose."
"That's what I tried to tell ya from before!" Etsuko complained.
Mayumi felt a nerve hit her as she turned towards the small member of the group. "You did not mention anything about your friend being a male!"
"I was being secretive about it. It was pretty obvious," She said with a you didn't know look plastered on her face. "I even keep saying the word 'friend' in my words. I didn't reveal gender or any of the sorts. You need to learn more about sec-REEEEEE!" She was cut off from her words as Mayumi was pinching both her cheeks.
"How the hell am I supposed to know the way your chaotic mind works." She says with an annoyed expression as she continues to pull her friend's cheeks.
Chiyo giggled at her friend's interaction before she looked over at the boy. "Hey, come back and sit with us."
Matsuri was a little hesitant, he really didn't want to intrude, but if she insists. He slowly walks over with hands trembling a little. Was this really okay? He took a deep breath to calm himself. He sat down in the middle between the two sides.
As Mayumi was done giving punishment to her friend, she looked back at the boy with a sympathetic smile. "Again, I'm really sorry for the outburst…."
"N-No, it's fine. I understand. Since the boy's were caught peeping in the girls bathroom, I can understand…"
"I know…..but it's really not just that…it's also that I don't want to get into trouble with Chiyo sister."
"I understand…wait? Chiyo sister?"
Chiyo wore a surprised look. "You don't know? She's the president of the U.S.C."
"...….huh? I'm sorry…..did you say…your sister is…the president of the….U.S.C….as in….the Underground Student Council…"
"That is right, Hitoyoshi."
Matsuri froze in place. His blood ran cold. He started to tremble in place. His eyes shot wide open, his pupil grew small. He shook as he looked over his shoulders. And to his fear, he found the president that stood tall behind him, with her blue ice eye's shooting daggers at him.
Mayumi and Etsuko wore terrified stares at the president who stood there behind the group. The two girls froze from eating their food.
Mayumi especially as sweat was pouring against her skin, her worst fear of interacting with a boy with the president at large is here among them.
Etsuko shook with a single tear in her eyes. She was more scared of not hanging out with Matsuri anymore. Her more question was how did she manage to find them here in the first place. Her mind was bogged with many questions and fears.
"M-M-Madam President….." Matsuri said with a terrified tone.
"And just why are you eating lunch with my cute little sister…..Hitoyoshi."
"Little sister…..y-you mean…..C-Chiyo, right?"
"Sis," Chiyo spoke out with a surprised look. "Why are you here?"
"Well, I was hoping to speak with Matsuri alone, but I was surprised to see him here…...eating lunch you, Chiyo."
"H-How did you f-found us!?" Etsuko asked with a nervous tone.
"I just happened to find you dragging Matsuri over to your secret spot." She simply said.
"SO IT'S MY FAULT!?" She thought to herself with a shocked look.
"I do hope you are aware of the rules, Hitoyoshi." She said with her arms crossed under her chest, giving the boy the look.
"I….I….."
"Wait! We invited him! He's not doing anything bad!" Chiyo defended him.
"Even so, I made it completely clear that none of the female students would not converse with male students." She countered.
Matsuri immediately knew what was going to happen between the two and stood up. "W-Wait! It's my fault that I'm here! I should've just left them alone! So please! Don't punish them, Madam President!" He bowed to her, hoping she would accept his plea.
The group left speechless, especially Mari. This boy continues to just surprise her in every way possible. But that's not the reason she's here.
"Relax Hitoyoshi, I appreciate that you understand, but that's not the reason why I am here."
"Huh?"
"Then why are you here, sis?" Chiyo asked, still on guard, when it comes to her sister, Mari can be rather stubborn.
Mari held her smirk in as she wanted to hold her plan deep to her chest. She was going to prove to her dad that Matsuri is indeed not the man who he claims he is. She reached for the folder she held under her armpit and showed it to Matsuri and the others.
"What I have here is your permanent records."
"Huh?"
"Wait! You looked into his permanent student records!? Why would you do that!?"
"What else, we know nothing of Matsuri's past or even who he is? So I decided to do some digging into his history…...and I found some…..interesting details." She narrowed her eyes on the boy.
Matsuri's eyes widened in fear, he felt she found something that he wished she didn't look into. Fear tugged at his heart, was she really going to reveal his secret to him and his now called friends behind him.
"Um…..w-what do you mean?" Mayumi asked but wished she didn't.
Mari simply opened the folder and grabbed a paper and showed it to the group, the terrified boy's eyes widened in fear.
"Matsuri, before you attended this school, you used to attend another previous school, that school was Atsuhiko academy….is that correct?"
Matsuri made a small gasp. "Y….Y….Yes….."
Mari made a small smirk. Not knowing the damage she was doing. "In January, two month before the graduation, an incident occurred at the school…." Matsuri bit his lip. "Naked photos of a student were spread across the school, all of the students and staff members received the photos, the student who was in those photos…..was the student council president of the school…..Yoshimiya Kakeguri."
Matsuri breathing turned heavy. His hand started to tremble. Fear was gripping him on every corner.
Chiyo and the others took notice of Matsuri's reaction. "Matsuri….."
"These photos were spread across the school, and in that very month…..she took her life because of it….."
Chiyo held her gasp in from escaping. Her eyes widened in fear as sweat poured against her face. Mayumi could only look onward in fear, having a similar reaction to her friend. Etsuko carried an equal reaction.
The one who was hit the most was Matsuri, his breathing became heavier, he was finding it hard to even talk, his mind swirling with fears, anxiety, and memories of the one who he lost back in his old life. Tears were forming in his eyes.
"Y….Yoshi….."
"W-W-Wait, what does all of this have to do with Matsuri!?" Chiyo spoke even though was scared out of her mind.
Mari's eyes narrowed at her sister. "I'm getting to that, they have not identified who took those photos of the student council president. I found it strange myself, that is until I did more research."
"N….N….." Matsuri wanted her to stop. The memories swirled around his head.
"It turns out that our little good natured boy," Her eyes shot daggers at the trembling boy. "Was friends with Kakeguri."
Matsuri started to hold himself in place, he didn't want to be here any more. Those days started to weigh on him.
Etsuko took notice of her friend's sudden behavior. "M-Matsuri….."
"Sis, please that's enough."
Mari didn't bother with Chiyo as she continued to press Matsuri further. She was going to reveal his true colors. "Why would they leave out someone who is close friends with another student? Especially if that close friend was a student council president?"
"You….No…." Matsuri couldn't speak anymore. Too frightened by the story.
"Mari that's enough!"
"You took those photos, did you, Hitoyoshi?" Mari said as she walked up to the frightened boy. "How did it feel? When you stripped her naked? When you tossed her aside like some used up sex doll?" She accused Matsuri as she reached towards him. Her face was right up to his terrified face.
His eyes looked into her deep blue eyes, they stabbed him right through his soul, his lips trembled in fear. No longer able to speak, think, or anything.
"Matsuri…." Etsuko was scared for her friend's safety.
"Mari! Please! Leave him alone!"
"You took those photos, did you Hitoyoshi..."
"N….No….no….."
"Mari!" Chiyo yelled.
"I WANT THE TRUTH HITOYOSHI!"
Chiyo immediately got up and stood between Matsuri and Mari. Her fierce eyes staring at her sister's blue eyes. "I SAID THAT'S ENOUGH!"
Mari flinched at her sister's outburst. The two, not aware of Matsuri starting to hold himself in place as he began to lose balance.
"He's already suffering enough! Just leave him alone already!" Chiyo exclaimed.
"He's guilty of a crime that he committed and got away with it!"
"But you don't know that!"
"Yes I do!"
"No you don't! How can you say that to someone who you don't even know! You don't know anything about Matsuri!"
"Um….C-Chiyo…." Mayumi tried to get her friend's attention, both her and Mayumi noticing Matsuri's odd behavior as the small girl went up to Matsuri's aid.
"And what about you?" Mari narrowed her eyes on her sister. "You don't know anything about Matsuri and yet here you are defending him. Sometimes you can be too naïve about people around you!"
Chiyo felt a nerve hit her. "I'm not naïve! I'm optimistic about many, that includes boys like Matsuri and Kiyoshi!"
Mari raised an eyebrow. "And what does Kiyoshi have to do with this!? He's the same as all the other boys! They're nothing but rotten scums!"
"No they are not! If men are such scums, then why did I see Kiyoshi saving a baby crow and putting it back in the nest that it fell from!"
A light gasp escaped from Mari's mouth. Kiyoshi saving a baby crow, was this the same Kiyoshi that was peeping on the girls in the bathroom? Mari's eyes widened and just stared at her little sister for a moment, as if she was looking in her eyes, seeing if she was telling the truth. Was Chiyo being serious?
"Kiyoshi…...he saved….."
"Matsuri!"
Their arguments were cut off as they turned to see Matsuri was on the ground, his breathing became uneven, tears were leaking out from his eyes. His eyes became dead as he just looked onward, nowhere particular.
"Matsuri!? Matsuri!? Come on, snap out of it!" Etsuko was trying to help her friend but he just remained in a panic.
Chiyo rushed over to his aid, unsure what to do in this situation. "Matsuri! Hey, come on! Please wake up! See what you did!?" Chiyo yelled at her sister who wore a surprised and terrified look.
Mari was unsure of this situation, she was expecting him to run away or deny or anything. But she never predicted that he would suffer a panic attack. Her eyes scanned the disabled boy who was on the ground, holding himself in place, his eyes got a thousand yard stare, his breathing became uneven.
Perhaps she had gone too far by interrogating Matsuri, but this reaction he was giving, was not the answer she was hoping for.
She shook her and approached the four. "We need to get him to the infirmary."
"R-Right….." Chiyo nodded.
Everything was fading to black through Matsuri vision, he couldn't hear what they were saying, but only the sound of his heartbeat. His eyes wandered as he could see he was being crowded by his friends and the president who all wore worried expressions. He could not make out what Mari was saying but he looked at her lips and could make out what she was saying.
"You'll be okay."
…..In the infirmary…
Sitting on the chair at the desk, on the other side of the room, a woman was reading a magazine with her expression showing boredom. The woman had long messy wavy chestnut brown hair, strands were poking out from the sides. Her hairline was rolled up, leaving no bangs except for a strand that hangs loose. She wore a long white coat that revealed her purple button shirt and skirt.
She sighed to herself and bent back on her chair and stretched. Before she could do anything else, she hears the door opening, revealing Mari, Chiyo, Mayumi and Etsuko who were carrying a terrified Matsuri who was unconscious.
"We need help! Now!" Mari wasted no time as she immediately told the nurse what was wrong.
The nurse's eyes widened in surprise at the council president and her eyes scanned the boy that was in her arms.
She nodded as she approached the group.
It didn't take long for the group to get Matsuri settled in on the bed. The boy's breathing slowly became even, but was still having trouble coming to senses.
The nurse used her back hand to feel the boy's temperature, the boy groaned in his trance. "His temperature is cooling down. And his breathing is normal," The nurse said. "He should be fine. Let's just be glad it was a minor panic attack."
The girls breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that his condition is progressing well. Mari on the other hand held a guilt expression upon her face, she was not expecting this result to happen. Part of her felt unsatisfied that she didn't get an answer from the boy, but the other half felt…..sympathetic to say the least.
"What happened?" The nurse said to the group, breaking Mari from her thoughts. "Something that can cause this is usually a result of stress or maybe a change of the environment…...so what happened to this boy?"
Mari immediately felt eyes on her, feeling the guilt that she had caused to make the boy have a panic attack in the first place. "I…...I-"
Her speech was interrupted as another person came rushing through the door. The figure revealed to be a familiar grey hair tall teenage student.
"Nurse! We have a-" She stopped herself as she noted the familiar faces among the crowd and the boy who was in bed. "M-Madam President?"
"Meiko? Why are you-WAIT! HANA!?" Mari stopped herself as she noted the unconscious Hana who was covered in liquid. "What happened to Hana!? Why is she covered in-WHAT EVEN IS SHE COVERED IN!?" Mari was in a complete panic, unsure what had happened to her.
"I-I don't know! I just found her like this in the bathroom!"
The nurse sighed to herself, holding her forehead with her fingers. "It's just one problem after another."
"So let me get this straight," The nurse was sitting on the chair with her legs across the other. Facing the group of students who were in front of her. "You found Hana in the bathroom, next to the toilet, covered in…urine." She said with a bit of shudder in her voice.
"Y-Yes. I don't know what happened? She was just covered in that and well….." Meiko was sweating at this point. She herself had no idea what happened.
"What about the boys," Mari said as she eyed her vice president. "What were they doing?"
"T-They were working like usual. Hana w-was keeping an eye on Kiyoshi and Gakuto!"
Mari narrowed her eyes, it was unclear what had happened to Hana, but she decided to leave it alone for now.
"Well, I guess we could say she had an accident," The nurse said with a questioning look. "But now onto your…..temporary member, Matsuri Hitoyoshi….."
Mari bit her lip, she just remembered the main reason they were here, Matsuri's rather unnerving condition. It was strange to her, here she was expecting the boy to deny her, get into an argument with her at least, but no, he just…..broke. He broke down in front of her.
"Madam President?" The nurse snapped her from her thoughts. "What happened?"
"...I…..I was just interrogating him about what had happened at Atsuhiko Academy…..but he just…..he just broke."
Meiko's eyes widened in shock, this was something new to her. Matsuri breaks down in front of the president, interrogating him for information about the events that happened at his school. Her eyes turned towards the boy who was still showing uneven breathing and sweating.
"Matsuri…"
The nurse took a moment of thought before giving her answer. "Well, I'm not going to scold you or anything, but I think it would be wise not to stir up anything that relates to Hitoyoshi in anyways, okay?" She said as she looked at the boy. "Whatever happened in his previous life…..it looks like he still has mental scars from that event…"
"Mental scars…...did it really impact him that much?" Mayumi asked in a worried tone.
"More like that event severely affected him…..for now let him rest. I'll look after him so you guys don't have to worry about him. Just come back and take him to his room later today."
Etsuko was worried for her male friend whom she had just gotten used to. She never saw him break down like that, let alone never seen anyone break down like that. She hoped that he would make a recovery soon.
Chiyo sets her hand on Etsuko's shoulders. "He'll be fine, Etsuko. For now let's leave him with Ms. Takamoto….."
"I know…" Etsuko shook her head. And spins around to face Chiyo and Mayumi. Determination lit in her eyes. "When Matsuri wakes back up! I'm gonna refill him with my happy energy!"
"Huh?"
"I'll give him my happy go lucky energy beam! It's super effective against anyone! Even Matsuri wouldn't be able to stand a chance against it!"
Mayumi just sighed at the small student's cheerful energy. "Well, glad that you're back up and running." She said with Chiyo giggling at her friend's outgoing energy.
Mari took a moment to look at the three interactions, but her eyes were more specifically on the smaller student. Does she know Matsuri? Since when? She will possibly ask him later when he fully recovers.
"Ms. Takamoto, what about Hana?"
"Oh right, I'm not sure. She seems fine for the most part, but she looks completely out of it. Perhaps a few days' rest will do her some good. And maybe a shower too….." She said with a dissatisfied groan. The liquid that covered Hana still made her uncomfortable.
"Very well," Mari said as she turned to Meiko. "Vice President, what are boys doing at the moment?"
"I'm sorry, I had to tell them that work is done for today so I sent them back to their cell early."
"Alright, later could you assist Ms. Takamoto by escorting both Hitoyoshi and Hana back to their rooms."
"Yes ma'am!"
Mari turns to look at the nurse. "Ms. Takamoto…..if Hitoyoshi wakes up early…...can you please tell that…...I'm sorry for intruding on his life….please?" Mari said as she bowed her head.
"Sis?"
"Oh, what is this? Feeling sorry for a male?" She said as she made a sly smile at the president.
Mari quickly raised her head, a blush could be seen on her cheeks. "D-Don't be absurd, I just thought it was wrong of me to make him like that….I never had the intention of making him break…..I'll be going now. Meiko."
"C-Coming." Meiko said as she followed.
"Madam President," The nurse spoke out. Stopping the president in her tracks. "Wouldn't it be better if you told him that yourself…..it would make more sense."
"...…I don't think I have the courage to face him." Mari said as she opened the door and left, with Meiko following behind.
Etsuko simply pouted. "She can be so stubborn."
"She can…..but," Chiyo said. "I think she'll come around one day…hopefully."
"Ooo! Is she gonna have a redemption arc!"
"What now?" Mayumi asked with a plain look.
"A redemption arc! You know, where the bad guys are evil during the first or second half of the story arcs and become good guys later on!"
"Etsuko, you're treating this like it's an anime or something."
"Or better yet, maybe she's a bad guy but just lacking in any hero qualities have a very cloudy moral compass! So in other words, SHE'S ANTI-HERO!"
"Just stop."
…...In the halls…..
Mari was walking down the hall with Meiko by her side. Her eyes looked onward ahead of her, looking at nothing in particular. Her mind was on what had happened today. More particularly on the boy who has broken down in front of her own eyes.
Her goal was to simply get an answer from the boy, hopefully anything that could shed some light on the incident that had happened at Atsuhiko academy. From Matsuri's reaction, it definitely confirms that he was there during that event, he's the only one who witnessed it. But it doesn't answer if he truly did take those photos…..right?
The more she thought about it, the more it frustrated her.
"M-Madam president?" Meiko asked the crow master.
"Yes Meiko?"
"Um….I….I don't believe it's my place to say this but…don't you think this is all…...unnecessary force?"
Mari stopped in her tracks. A small gasp escaped Meiko's mouth, realizing what she had done. "What do you mean?" Mari asked as she turned her head and faced the grey hair teen.
Meiko flinched, her sweats started to pour. "P-Please excuse me Madam President! B-B-But it's just that…..I-I been thinking for a while t-t-that we are maybe taking this a little t-t-too far by looking into Hitoyoshi's personal life!" She stuttered as the sweat that was pouring against her bare skin, rolled off and created a small puddle beneath her feet. "I-I-It's just a thought! P-Please excuse me!"
Mari just looked at her and back at the folder in her hands. A thought was pondering around in her head. "I know it's risky…...but the more I refuse to believe that he's some good natured boy that my father claims he is…I just can't accept that without seeing it for myself."
"Madam President…I-I'm sorry."
"Sorry? For what?"
Meiko's eyes faced down. Her sweat is still pouring. "I have failed you…..I have checked his room and tried to find anything at all, but so far I have found nothing at all. I have failed you and failed the Underground Student Council!"
"Please do not blame yourself, Meiko."
"Huh?" Meiko looked up at the raven hair president who had reached towards her friend's cheeks and began to wipe off the sweat with a towel.
"I would never say such things to you for something like that." She said as she gently rubbed Meiko bare skin. "To be honest, I myself was thinking the same thing."
"Y-You were?"
"Yes." She said as she was done and held the wet towel in her hand. "I was hoping that I would at least obtain some valuable information, but it looks like the only thing I got was more questions…..Hitoyoshi is hiding something from us…and this whole Yoshimiya business is starting to intrigue me more."
"S-So what are we going to do now…I-I never anticipated that Hitoyoshi would be this much of a difficult case to crack, and a male no less." She breathed out.
As much as she hates to admit it. Meiko was right. So far Matsuri has not done anything or has anything to prove that he is trash. But the more and more she looks at it, the more her father's words creep their way back into her thoughts.
"Matsuri…he is a good boy…I do hope by chance you could forget your view on men and perhaps become his friend."
Mari shook her head in frustration. "One of the very moments he chooses to be a father…..he chooses now of all times."
"Madam…."
"It's nothing, I am going back to the office, make sure to assist Ms. Takamoto by helping Matsuri get back to his room. Oh, and with Hana being out of commission tomorrow, I will try to get Hitoyoshi to leave early to help you with the boys. We will explain to him when he wakes up."
"Yes Madam President! And what are you going to do?"
"I need some moments for myself….."
…In the Prison Block…..
"Eh? Lady Hana will not be here for the remaining unknown days?" Gakuto said with a surprised look.
The other boys followed suit as they listened to what the vice president was telling them.
"Yes. Due to unexplained reasons, Hana will be unavailable for the moment, until then I and Hitoyoshi will be observing you five for the remaining days. In addition, Hitoyoshi will be leaving class early around noon to assist."
Kiyoshi could tremble in place as he heard about the news. The others may not know what has happened to Hana, but he did. He knew what happened. Because he was the one who caused it. He remembered that he went to the bathroom and knew that Hana was going to follow him, but he never in his life predicted or even thought ahead of it.
He only intended to guide Hana away so that Gakuto can make the hole bigger, sure he also did it for Matsuri so that he would not have to deal with Hana, but he felt like he did something so horrendous, was it all worth the trouble?
"Kiyoshi," The boy's eyes turned to his partner-in-crime who smirked at him. "Whatever you have done to Hana, you did a splendid job." He whispered.
"N-No…..I really didn't do much…." He whispered back in a cold sweat.
"Well, whatever the case, it certainly helped us. And with Matsuri-dono coming in early, this could be very great for us in the long run."
His conversation was cut off as Meiko riding crop smacked him across the cheeks. Blood flew out of his mouth as he landed on the ground.
"STOP YOUR SMIRKING YOU SCUM!"
….USC Office…..
Mari was sitting by herself, confined within her office. Laying on the desk in front of her were Matsuri's permanent records. The folder was open and revealed the article she printed out, the incident that happened at the school Matsuri previously went to. A lot has happened today, Matsuri having a breakdown and all, Hana sudden accident.
But for now, her main focus was on Matsuri, she was not expecting that sort of reaction from the boy. She was honestly expecting him to fight back, or in the worst case scenario, reveal that he did indeed do it. She would have been more happy if she revealed that he did do it, would have given her a chance in the limelight and prove to her father that Hitoyoshi was not the kind-hearted boy they so claim he is.
But in the end…all she got was a broken boy who had her forced to remember a tragic event. Mari bit her lips as she remembered seeing the boy's face. He looked…..scared.
"Was I wrong? Perhaps Hitoyoshi truly doesn't possess any ill intention at all…..but if that is true…..then why did he react like that …." Mari said as she brought a finger to her lips.
Mari's eyes traveled back to the photos of Yoshimiya and Matsuri together. No doubt, she looked absolutely beautiful. And Matsuri, being a boy, would be struck by her beauty. But the more she actually looks at Matsuri personality in-person, he seems the type to just mind his own business. He's also well-behaved as well, according to Meiko's report.
Mari sighed to herself as she closed the file and put it inside the drawer inside the desk. "I'll leave it alone for now…...I'm sure Hitoyoshi will tell us soon….." Mari said as she stopped herself for a moment.
A smile crept upon her lips. "I must say Hitoyoshi…you have proven to be more interesting than I anticipated, for a boy that is." She said as she walked around the desk and headed towards the door. She opened the door and left.
Mari closed the door and walked down the dark hallway to her room to the dorms, calling it in for the night.
Unaware to her, a figure was around the corner behind her. Hiding behind the wall as she watches Mari leave for the night. The figure walks over to the door that the president left through and locked. The figure casted a shadow on the door of the Underground Student Council office.
…..Matsuri's Room…..
Meiko set the boy onto his bed. Matsuri breathing has even out, a sign that he was recovering to his normal stasis.
"Looks like he's back to normal….." She said to herself as her eyes remained on the boy.
This boy that she was looking at right now, she had to admit, Matsuri has proven to be quite the challenging boy to crack. The five boys who were thrown in prison obviously were guilty by being caught peeping on the girls in the bathroom. But this boy was not part of their little operation.
Her eyes scanned the room, more so the journal that was on his desk. Curiosity peaked her interest as she walked over to it and looked inside of it.
"Hmm…..interesting, a journal….let see what you're hiding in this journal."
Meiko flipped to the first page:
"First day at the Hachimitsu Academy, honestly I don't know what to say. At first it looked like a normal school, just a school filled with females. I honestly felt scared, because I thought I was going to be the only male here. But turns out I'm going to be the sixth boy here, that was until I met the other boys. They turned out to be straight up perverts, only caring to see if they can get a peek at any girls. Anyways, they decided to go peeping on the girls, but I chose to stay because I felt it was wrong. It goes against my morals, not to mention I heard rumors of the Underground Student Councils. I thought they were just trying to scare the students honestly, but after the boys got caught…...I didn't know what to think at all. And the boys got in trouble for it. I don't know if I made the right choice to come to this school."
Meiko made a small chuckle to herself. "Thought that you were going to have a normal life did you?" She said as she continued.
"So with the boys in Prison for 1 month, I didn't know what was going to happen to me. I was scared for my life of what the president was going to do. But I was not expecting to be joining as a temporary member of the U.S.C. I could've just joined the boys in the prison, but I wasn't part of their operation and honestly after seeing that they actually enjoy being pushed around by Meiko…..I felt like I made the right choice by joining the girls. Here I was, worried about them, but only to find out that they don't seem to mind at all. I couldn't believe it, I felt a little mad."
For the most part, Meiko felt a little sympathy for the boy, she remembered that the boys felt a little much into her punishment and wanted more. She could tell that Matsuri was mad that time, she just didn't know why he was mad. Her eyes turn towards the boy, a hint of sympathy in her eyes.
"Feel like he's the type that worries too much…" Meiko shook her head as she turned her attention back to the journal. A page caught her attention, this one was about her and the other members:
"It's been a week since I've been in the group, honestly I feel kind of out of place. Granted that I'm a male with three females. The guys say I'm lucky, but honestly, I'm really scared. I don't want to do anything that would result me in getting thrown in prison, which is why I'm always keeping to myself. But I'm not going to lie, they are really beautiful women. Mari, the president of the U.S.C, is actually really beautiful. She can be scary at times, but there are moments where she can be nice. I didn't tell anyone this, but I met her father and he wants me to become friends with her. I don't know if that's possible honestly, but I do want to get to know her more. And maybe show her that not all males are as bad as she thinks."
"He met the Chairman? I didn't know that….and becoming friends with the president. Interesting…" She said to herself. She continued on.
"Hana is rather…..unique. She's the secretary of the U.S.C. She has a rather cheerful and bubbly personality. And she makes decent tea, it's alright, but I just don't want to reveal that to her. She can be really happy at times, but when she's mad….she is a force not to be reckoned with. I don't usually get the chance to interact with her too much, but sometimes I find myself really stuck with her. I want to get to know her better, but I don't think she likes me too much. Hopefully I can become friends with her without any problems."
"Hmph. Good luck with Hana, Hitoyoshi." She chuckled to herself and read the last one.
"Then there's Meiko, she's the vice president of the U.S.C. She's strong, and a little on the rough side at times. But to be honest, I didn't want to admit this to the council, even to the boys. But Meiko has a really attractive figure, and the boys most often are distracted by her beauty, I don't really blame them for that. But getting to know her, there are other attributes to her than just her looks. I can appreciate her strong, take charge attitude. The way she easily puts the boys in their place when they get out of hand, I can't help but admire that about her. Actually, I can't help but envy her, she seems so brave and confident in her abilities. Never feel doubt, always ready to put the boys in their place and is also very strong. Sure, at times she can be a little too violent towards the boys, but getting to know her a little, there's a soft side to her. Sometimes she feels ill in comparison to Mari's strengths and beauty…..but I believe everyone has their way of being beautiful, and Meiko has that."
Meiko blushed. Her breathing became heavy, he thinks she's beautiful. And not just for her figure, but for who she is. She didn't know what to say, this boy who was unconscious for a long while, she couldn't help but to look at with wonder in her eyes.
"Does he…..does he truly think that of me?" She breathed out.
She was hoping to find some usual information in the journal, but the information she found was rather…...interesting. This boy just continues to ponder in her thoughts. Going back to his journal, she noted how 'brave and strong' she was. Meiko couldn't help but make a small somber chuckle at his wording.
"If only he knew that I wasn't always like this…..." She said as she put down the journal and stood up from the chair. Her eyes wandered back to the boy who was asleep.
She walks over to him and bends over to take a closer look. His breathing was even out, and he's not sweating anymore, a sign showing that he's fast asleep. Her mind traces back to what Ms. Takamoto said about his condition.
"Whatever happened in his previous life…..it looks like he still has mental scars from that event…"
She bit her lips as she continued to look at the boy with a sympathetic look. "I know how it must feel to still have that scar lingering inside you. I know…..because Matsuri…..you and I…..are not so different."
….
And that wraps up Chapter 6. Sorry if this took longer to get out, but trying to plan out some ideas for this fanfic is pretty rough work, but I welcome the challenge. While also going in hand with the main canon, most often they are there to fill out the chapter. I also have been thinking up some original story arcs for this fanfic, of course this is still in the early stage being planned, so we'll see soon. :)
On that note, I like to address one thing about this story. I know I said I'm mainly following the canon of the story timeline, but there is something I want to envision with this story, the prime example is giving the members of the USC character development. I know the girls are essentially the bad guys of the main story, but I feel like they are very two dimensional when it comes to their actions. I believe Axel100 explained this in his/her review. The girls' actions in the story aren't exactly justifiable and their personality towards men can be seen as two dimensional. I feel that giving them actual character development is necessary, and Matsuri is the key player as he will further challenge their belief in men by just being himself. He doesn't need any grand plans or allies to help him challenge the USC, he can simply just do so by being him.
I know I'm being very critical of a comedy series, and I get the feeling that it's not supposed to be taken seriously, but there are many routes that this story could've taken. The only thing that worries me is angering the fans who are passionate about the series. I can appreciate the colorful cast of characters with their own unique quirks here and there, but I can't help but to feel their actions in the story can be seen as something to root for, not even the boys. Take Meiko for example, she is violent and uncompromising, but her backstory of being bullied can be seen as producing someone with the capabilities to empathize. Which is the reason why Meiko can be seen understanding Matsuri's issues of still having those scars from his past.
Sorry for the long rant, but I just felt like I should address that the more I write this story. I have a good grasp on what direction I want this story to go in. And Matsuri have the opportunity to change their personal views on men and maybe change the scenario of the story.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter, I have a clear path of the next chapter so hopefully it shouldn't take long. As always, leave a review if you enjoyed it.
See you next time!
