(Author Note: If you haven't yet, I re-edited chapter 24 and 25. More specifically chapter 24, with the help of axel100, I changed the scene where Matsuri lured Yoshimiya. It's instead a more simpler method than the previous. And I updated chapter 25 to fit the story flow. Give it a read before reading this chapter.)

-Unknown Cafe Place-

Year ago before Yoshimiya's death…

Sitting at the table alone, a young woman was drinking her smoothie as she was looking through her phone wearing her neutral expression on her face. She moved aside her blonde hair to the side of her face, her eyes catching glances of several glances she was getting.

A few boys looked the other way with their cheeks flushed deep crimson red. They began walking faster away from the girl. With some of their girlfriends giving their boyfriends the stink eye for looking at the long-haired teen girl.

"Hmph. Men's." She said with a distasteful tone.

As she continued to mind her own business, her vision became blinded by a pair of unfamiliar hands. "Guess who~?"

"Yoshimiya."

The young teen had a shock expression on her face as she removed her hands from the blond teen's eyes. "Impressive. Both you and Matsuri managed to guess right. Although, if you ask me, I think Matsuri got it right because of…..other things~." She said with a smirk.

Ayaka sneered as she looked at her friend. "Hmph. Don't tell me you're still with that man."

"Aw, don't be like that." Yoshimiya said as she took her seat next to her friend. She grabbed the bottom of her chair and scooted towards her with a smile. "Matsuri isn't a pervert."

Ayaka sighed as she looked at her with a glare. "Men are nothing but filthy mongrels. And I doubt that Matsuri boy is as pure or as noble as you describe him."

"Okay one, I didn't say he's all the way pure. He has dirty thoughts as well, but he doesn't go around and show it to the world. He is respectful towards people. And second, I don't ever remember describing him as a white knight or something like that."

"I don't care. That boy-" Ayaka stopped in her sentence as Yoshimiya's finger touched her lips. Forcing her to be quiet.

"See, this is why I don't invite Matsuri to our little meeting. Because I already know how you're going to treat him. Can't you at least put aside your prejudice against men and focus more on their positive outlooks."

Ayaka groaned as she gently grabbed her finger and removed from her lips. "No. And men don't have any positive outlooks, all of them have one thing on their mind and that is getting pleasures from females. They treat girls as their playthings just for them and their own filthy fantasies."

"Again, that right there, is the main reason why I don't invite Matsuri. And besides, you make it sound like men are the only ones who are dishonest and troublesome."

Ayaka raised an eyebrow. "And that is?"

"Females can be just as bad." She noticed her friend's glare deepened. "Before you yell at me, let me explain myself."

"You better or I will end this meeting early." She said as she crossed her hands.

Before Yoshimiya could explain, she grabs Ayaka's smoothie, sucking it down her throat with a smile. Once she was done, she put it down and looked towards the rather irritated Ayaka. "Look, men can be scumbags, sure. But who's to say that women can't be just as bad? We go around and pick on girls for different reasons. We pick on them due to their popularity or because of how different they are. And girls also do the same to men as well. They pick on them by belittling them, making them feel weak, pathetic, pretty much everything they can pull from the book."

Ayaka continued to listen to her friend's explanation.

"You can pretty much call them the queen bee or something like that. Hell, Matsuri is a victim himself."

"Matsuri? The boy who you're friends with?"

Yoshimiya nodded. "He was being bullied…..no. More like tortured, Hayakki treats him like a slave. Always giving him so many pointless orders and belittling him. I'm not sure how much the wound drives deep, but I might suspect that it's pretty deep."

"I wasn't aware, so Matsuri suffered that much."

"He did…..which is why I saved him from Hayakki and her little cronies. He looked so broken when I saved him from another of his tortures. He's still a bit jumpy, but he looks like he's healing up."

Ayaka rested her cheeks on the palm of her hand. "He sounds like a dog."

Yoshimiya giggled a little. "I guess he does sound like a dog, huh? More like a lost puppy." She said as she stuck out her tongue.

"But from what I heard, you say that he seems broken. In other words, he doesn't seem sociable. Nor active, or even noble in that regard. So why bother with him?"

Yoshimiya's eyes looked up at the ceiling, pursing her lips together as she began to think about her feelings for Matsuri. While she is right, the boy is non-sociable, but that's a given as he was a victim of bullying. But to her…

"To be honest, not sure how to describe him that doesn't sound like something else, but….he actually fun to be with once you get to know him. I guess…..I'm trying to make him smile more, you know."

"Smile?"

"Yeah, like I said, he seems broken whenever I try to talk to him, like he's scared. I want everyday to be fun for him. I guess you could say I'm trying to give him the best present of his life."

Ayaka looked at Yoshimiya with a raised brow, that was something she wasn't expecting. Her words sounded genuine as if she was telling the truth about the boy. She never met the boy, but from what she heard, he seems to be a rare case victim of bullying. In her view, a male being bullied by girls no less, is rare in her eyes. She never saw them.

She shook her head. "Either way, he is still male and quite possibly a pervert deep down. Also, you said that you saved him from this Hayakki, correct? What if he will betray you."

Yoshimiya releases a snicker. "By whom? Matsuri? Please, he's too innocent and I doubt he will betray me in the end. He would never do that."

Ayaka could only sigh at her friend, but gave her a small smile. "Honestly, you truly are naive, but that's what I find interesting about you."

"I'll take that as a complement. But shoving that aside, how's college treating you?"

"It's going fine. But I will admit I do miss Hachimitsu academy. But my concerns for the school are rather…I don't know how to describe it."

"What do you mean?"

"Rumors are going around that they're now accepting males for the next school year. That chairman, god forbid what those boys plan on doing to the female students." She said with a worried expression, but was rather annoyed.

Yoshimiya offered a nervous smile. "Ha, I see." She said before an idea came to her. "Hey! How about I attend Hachimitsu academy next year!"

Ayaka raised a brow. "Aren't you the council president at your school?"

"Yeah, but just for you, I can possibly transfer over to Hachimitsu and check on it. I can maybe keep a tab on the boys if they do attend Hachimitsu academy." She said with a snicker. She raised her hand and moved them in a crawling motion. "I'll be your little spy."

"While I appreciate the offer, it's fine. Do you recall the girl whom I told you about, Mari Kurihara?"

"Oh yeah, the one who you said has an affinity with crows." She said with an image in her head of Mari controlling the birds.

"She's the underground student council president. Mari, Meiko and Hana will be watching over the students and the school. I have utmost faith in them that they will keep the school in order and not allow the males anywhere near the females."

"Sure, sure."

The two continued to chat with each other for a while longer. While Yoshimiya was rather energetic, Ayaka was calm, but silently enjoyed her time with her friend.

[That was the last time I remembered her. Even though our friendship was short, I still got the time to get to know her. Then when I saw the news that Yoshimiya committed sucicide due to leaked photos of her naked, spreaded across her school. I couldn't help but to feel depressed, ashamed that I wasn't there…and also infuriated. I knew that someone had to be behind this mess about her death. And that led me here.]

-Hachimitsu Academy- [Chairman Office]

Current Present time…

The group sat in the office of the chairman room. Ayaka sat posed on the chair wearing a solemn expression on her face. Her eyes glared at the tea on the table in front of her. Sitting across from her was Mari who also posed with her leg crossed the other. But her hand gave some tremble as she was still taken by surprise by Ayaka's sudden appearance. Next to her seat was Matsuri who stood up, but his face was facing his feet, not daring to look up at the former underground student council.

Standing on the other side was Meiko who was still sweating on the spot, she couldn't get her nerves under control, too shocked by the appearance of Ayaka and to make matters worse, Mari and Matsuri arrived at the worst time possible. And to make the situation even more complicated, Ayaka is friends with Yoshimiya. Which makes things difficult for the boy she was staring at to the side of her.

Hana tried everything in her power to remain calm while listening to Ayaka's tale, but she couldn't. Deep down she was also rather scared of the former president. She was hoping for this day to be easy, but turns out god had other plans for them.

Filling out the room was Chiyo, the five boys and the Chairman as they all listened in. Not knowing how to respond to Ayaka as she told her story of her time with the former president of Atsuhiko academy.

Ayaka gave a sigh. "To be honest, I don't exactly remember when we first met. But I could recall that it was the time when I entered college. I happened to come across her when she was being harassed by some males. But as I was about to save, it turns out she could handle herself pretty well. Then you could say that she piqued my interest."

"I-I see….." Mari said, not sure what to say. "I-I'm sorry if I appear a little…..baffled. But I wasn't expecting for you to be here today."

"I'm sorry for not announcing my arrival, but I figured I wanted to surprise you. Well…..that was my intention. Until some interesting information came across."

Mari bit her lip. From her tone, she appeared rather annoyed and irritated. She could take a wild guess of what exactly got her interested. Her eyes glanced over her shoulders at the five boys who remained still, frozen in place. Terrified of what will happen to them. But her main concern was not them, but the sixth boy to her side…..

Matsuri remained still, his eyes still looking at his feet. Not bothering to look up at the former president, while his expression appeared plain, his fist shook with fear. He was scared. But deep down she could tell what is to come next when she speaks again…..

Ayaka rested her cheeks on her fist. "Yes. I came here because I heard that the school, which was once an all-female school, is now accepting males. Then comes the boys," She glanced at them with a glare. "I heard that these five boys were caught peeping in the girls changing room and that one of them managed to sneak in without being noticed."

Kiyoshi flinched, he knew whom she was talking about. And he still remembered how furious both Mari and Chiyo were when the truth came out. Especially Chiyo, as she was disappointed in Kiyoshi for lying to her.

"It's true!" Chiyo spoke up with a firm voice. "But Kiyoshi and the boys are trying to redeem themselves of their crimes! Like I said before!"

"Chiyo-chan…."

Ayaka closed her eyes as she pondered before answering. "Yes, I know. Despite that, I still don't quite like it that they're out and about. They are likely to cause trouble again."

"I w-wouldn't worry." Mari said. "I enlisted a student to watch them to make sure they stay in line and not cause any trouble for the students."

Ayaka smiled. "As expected of Mari, you were always cautious and thorough with your task." She then opened her eyes, looking at the current president. "But I'm not here for them….I'm here for the other boy….."

"Matsuri Hitoyoshi, I assume." Mari said, already knowing the answer.

Ayaka nodded as she looked at the boy who still refused to look at her. This only irritated her. "Look at me."

Matsuri slowly, cautiously did so. He took notice of her anger. But did nothing as he already knew why.

"I must say Mari Kurihara," Ayaka said as she turned back towards the president. "I am rather disappointed when I heard that you invited a boy into the underground student council, but then only to find out that you only invited him so that you could get more information regarding Yoshimiya's death. Am I correct?"

"Y-Yes madam."

"Now that you guys are back and everyone is present. I believe it is time that Matsuri shares with us the story regarding my dear friend's death. Wouldn't you agree?"

Mari nodded. Biting down on her lips to remain calm. She glanced over at Matsuri who looked at her back. "Would you like it if I-"

"Let him speak."

They both looked at her with baffled expressions.

"M-Madam please, I don't know-"

"I said, let him speak." She said with a venomous tone.

Mari flinched at her stare. With Meiko sweating more with slight trembles. Hana tried to look the other way, not looking at the former president and her expression.

"I-It's fine Madam President." Matsuri said, looking at Mari with a smile. "I got this."

Mari nodded and remained seated with a deep breath.

Matsuri looked at Ayaka as she looked at him with a venomous expression. He took a deep breath before he told his tale. Deep down, he was terrified, but if he were to press forward, he needed to go through this with everything he had. He was scared of the road ahead, of where it would lead him, but he knew that's the part of his journey, venturing into the unknown land.

And so, he began his heartbreaking tale, once more….

Minutes raced past as Matsuri told them the tale from his perspective. And no one had anything to say but just….flabbergasted at her death. They already suspected that someone must have been behind her death, but they weren't expecting it would actually be him. But what shocked them the most is how her death occurred. It was heartbreaking, but to some present in the room, they couldn't help but to be disappointed in Matsuri.

Meiko's eyes remained on Matsuri as he told his tale, she could tell from just looking at him, how his tone was, he has been through hell. He betrayed his dear friend for some monsters' sick game of fun. Whenever she heard how Hayakki was treating Matsuri, it made her enraged from the inside.

"So what Ayame thought was right on the money. He truly was part of their scheme. Granted, he had other options available to him or maybe he could've just taken her place but…..it looks like he's already aware of his mistakes."

Hana had her eyes on the boy with a baffled expression. She figured it was him, but it was against his will. He betrayed his friend and in the end she killed herself due to not being able to handle the constant bullying and her future education was ruined. However, Hana's feelings were mixed on the matter. On one hand she felt bad for Matsuri, but she felt more sorry for Yoshimiya for how she was treated. She could direct her anger at the boy for not helping, but it looks as if he has already been through enough.

Kiyoshi and Gakuto remained quiet. Kiyoshi's heart ached for the boy and Yoshimiya's tragic end of their relationship. And the true instigator was Hayakki. And a female too. His hand curled into a fist, he wanted to yell out, but he didn't dare disturb the tale as it was coming to an end. Gakuto was on the similar boat, as much as he would love to defend Matsuri if he is still blamed for the crime, he remained quiet for the moment.

Off to the side, the three other boys remained quiet, their expression didn't change as they listened to the tale. Shingo couldn't help but to take a couple of glances at the boy who was sharing the tale. He wore an expression of disappointment.

The remaining ones, Chiyo and Usano held their emotions in before they could speak. That is if the former underground president didn't speak up before them.

"And that's it…that's the whole story….." Matsuri finished as he hung low. Looking at his own feet.

The room grew quiet. No one had anything to say to his tale. A mix of emotions spreaded through the room. Some felt the boy sympathy, but to others, they felt different. They didn't feel anything for the boy but just disappointment or irritation.

Matsuri didn't need to look up at their faces, he could tell from the looks he was getting from their silences. If they hated him, he doesn't care. He knew the consequences would come to him and he would accept it either way. While it is true that Hayakki was the true instigator, he still had a part in it.

Mari looked at him with a frown. "He didn't mention about him trying to kill himself…..but I believe it is best if he keeps that to himself. I believe it wouldn't make a difference."

Ayaka sighed to herself before looking at the boy. "So….is that truly the end?"

"Yes."

Ayaka closed her eyes, pondering within her thoughts. Remembering his tale from word to word and how it went. She opened her eyes, looking at the boy. "I see. Even though Hayakki is the true cause behind Yoshimiya's death, you still had a part played in this."

Matsuri bit his lip. He dared speak up as he nodded.

"In the end, you betrayed your friend-no. You betrayed your only dear friend and took those filthy pictures." Her tone grew more venomous with rage. "If you really cared for Yoshimiya, has nothing crossed your mind of not going along with whatever childish game that Hayakki had in mind for my friend. Or were you too frightened for what will happen to you and only wanted to save your own skin."

"I know…" Matsuri's hand clenched into a fist. He tried to stop himself from trembling. "I know what I did was horrible and Yoshimiya didn't deserve any of what happened to her…..I wanted to help her. I really did…but…."

"You were powerless, correct?" Ayaka said, gaining his attention. Her eyes looked deep into his soul. "From my understanding from your tale, you were too much of a coward to stand up for your friend. She suffered many humiliation, pain and misery from both ends. All for the sake of you." She said with the last part in a venomous tone.

Matsuri didn't say anything but just remained still.

"She went out of her way to save you from Hayakki's harassment and what does she get in return? Nothing but injury to the open wound she opened. All while you enjoy the 'luxury life-style' in your own little world."

"M-Madam Presi-" Mari wanted to interject.

"Quiet." Ayaka sent a glare at the crow mistress before looking at the boy. "While you were enjoying your own little fantasy world, Yoshimiya was being punished by false stories that were created by Hayakki and her little cronies. Yes, I am aware that she didn't want you to suffer anymore and I admire her for her bravery. But what I can't stand is the cowardness you presented throughout. You had plenty of options to go about and be by her side. But you were too late and you failed."

"That's enough!"

All eyes were on Chiyo who looked at Ayaka with an enraged expression.

"C-Chiyo-chan…" Kiyoshi thought to himself.

"I heard enough from you! Matsuri-kun has already been through enough pain as it is, he doesn't need to be reminded of his own mistakes! And you…..you have the nerves to say that Matsuri was enjoying his luxury lifestyle!? He was constantly worried about Yoshimiya! He didn't take advantage of his lifestyle at all! What gives you the right to say such cruel words to him!?"

"Did he do something to help?"

"Huh?"

"I asked, did he do anything to help Yoshimiya?" Ayaka asked with a glare.

Chiyo blinked, he didn't. "N-No….but that," She shook her head with an irritated groan. "That's not the point!"

"Chiyo, please relax." Mari asked with a warning glance.

"NO! I'M NOT RELAXING!" She looks at Ayaka, her eyes filled with rage as she takes a step forward. "Matsuri-kun is a kind and sweet boy! He can be cowardly at times, but he always pulls through! I didn't want to believe that he had anything to do with Yoshimiya's death, I truly didn't! But after listening to his tale…..h-how could….HOW COULD YOU NOT FEEL SORRY FOR HIM!?"

The room grew quiet once more. The only sound that was heard was Chiyo breathing as she angrily stared at the unfazed former underground president. This scene all felt familiar to Mari, Meiko and Hana. That time when Kiyoshi was going to be forcibly expelled from the school, Chiyo and Matsuri came to stop them from doing so.

Mari breathed in before standing from her seat. All eyes were on her.

"She's right."

"I'm sorry." Ayaka raised a brow.

"My sister…she's right." She glared at Ayaka. "Ever since we took Matsuri under the USC, so far he has been on his best behavior and has performed his task accordingly. He has not touched a single female on this campus…no. He has, but those were all by accident and have never taken advantage of them the moment he entered this school. It only took me a month or so to finally come to understand him as a person. He isn't some scumbag or beast who is looking for prey, he's diligent, honorable and kind."

Ayaka remained still, listening to her speech. No one said anything either, looking at the male-hating president with a shocked expression.

"I will admit, I believe I myself am in the wrong for accusing Matsuri of a crime that was not entirely his fault. I failed to see what Matsuri truly is on the outside. True, he has caused some trouble for not just himself, but for Yoshimiya. But the fact that he came out clean and stated what truly happened, that is more than enough to show just how noble he is."

Matsuri blinked at the girl. He never saw her like this before, protecting the opposite gender that she despises. It was a rare sight. Even the boys were left flabbergasted.

"I never knew you thought that of him." Ayaka said with a calm tone. "While it's clear that you two believe in Matsuri's innocence. But what of the others in this room?" She asked indirectly to all the others in the room. "What are your thoughts? Meiko."

Meiko flinched at the mention of her. She looked around at the eyes of those who looked at her. She took a deep breath before speaking.

"At first, I thought of the same thing that Madam President and Hana thought, that Matsuri is a scumbag who's a beast inside. Our true goal, yes, was to find something on him so we can throw him in prison along with the boys…..but," She stopped for a moment catching a breath before continuing. "Matsuri has so far shown he is different from most males. True, he can be timid and weak, but doesn't mean he ever stopped pushing forward. He endured many hardships in his life and has never stopped. Even to the boys, he tried his best looking out for them."

The boys looked at each other with sympathetic looks. Remembering their time in prison and Matsuri truly was looking out for them.

"When we brought him within the underground student council, I had my concerns, but those concerns were merely just my old beliefs trying to tell me otherwise. He has and still is showing just how loyal and noble he is, just as Madam President said. I'll be honest, I don't think I can forgive Matsuri for what happened to Yoshimiya, but he's already aware of that and is trying to improve himself. Matsuri's greatest strength in character is his heart for others. And I admire that about him." She said with a blush.

Matsuri's heart skipped a beat as he looked the other way with a blush.

Hana lets out a sigh as she sets her cup down. "I'll be straight up honest. I don't like Matsuri. Personally I don't care what happens to him. I just saw him not only as a scumbag but also just a weak timid boy. I wanted him out of the underground student council for multiple reasons," She said as she glared at the boy who looked the other way with a slightly worried expression. "But having him in the underground student council…..he's not bad. Sure his nice attitude can be annoying and he can be whiny at times. But like Meiko and Mari said, he never stops pushing forward and never turns his back on us either. Sure, what happened to Yoshimiya is tragic and I can't forgive him…but he did come out clean in the end instead of running, so he's not bad. He's shifty. But he's not bad."

Ayaka remained still, her expression slowly became softer.

Gakuto cleared his throat. "I will be speaking for the boys on this, M-Madam Former President…i-if it's okay with you."

"You may speak."

"Right then, Matsuri-dono. Even though we barely know him. But the moment he joined us at the table, some of us felt we were going to be great comrades at arms. And we will admit, he was the voice of reasons for us. Even when we were going to peek at the girls, he tried to stop us. We failed to heed his warnings and ended up in prison. Even when we were in prison, Matsuri-dono have not forsaken us ever since and have even fought hard to give us the free day off. He had even come through and saved Kiyoshi-dono from certain doom of being expelled. He even aided us in capturing the perverts who threaten the peace of this school."

"While I do believe that Matsuri-dono is too in the wrong of how Yoshimiya-dono's death occurred, I believe he had no ill intentions and even wanted to save her himself. Matsuri-dono has constantly worried about her since the beginning and wanted to be by her side. Indeed, he was too late, but he still pushes through and each day he tries to improve himself to be a better person. I…..no, all of us can't forgive Matsuri-dono for his betrayal, but he came out clean and did not miss any important details. And I believe that he shouldn't be punished for a crime that this Hayakki mistress has done."

Matsuri took a shaky breath. He forced himself not to cry. He just didn't understand why these guys were coming to his recuse.

Ayaka's eyes looked towards the chairman who remained seated. "And I suppose you have something to add."

Usano nodded. "That I…..do. And I can agree with the rest of the students present here within this room. Matsuri has shown no ill actions to any of the female students here or even towards our female staff members of this school. Although I can't defend Matsuri for his betrayal of his friend, if he is serious on redeeming himself by training harder to improve, then I do not see any reason for doubting…..him."

Ayaka listened to all of those present within the room. She closed her eyes, pondering on her own thoughts. Everything she has gathered from all of the present students and the chairman, what they had to say for Matsuri's defense. All of it shows that they generally care for the boy. Despite his wrongdoing, she can see that it was never out of ill intentions.

She opened her eyes before she spoke. "Well then, I'm rather impressed that this boy left an impression on all of you. Despite not having any special features that defines him…..except for one I suppose. Despite all of your guys' claims, I still wish to hear this from Matsuri."

Matsuri looked up. He turned his head to look at everyone as they had their eyes on him. He took a deep breath before speaking. "I'll be honest…..after what I did. I don't think I can ever forgive myself for what I did. I appreciate all of your guys' opinions on me, I really do. It makes me happy to hear that, it really does. B-But…I don't know…..I feel terrible for what happened to Yoshimiya. If I had one wish, it would be to go back in time and stop Yoshimiya from killing herself. But I never had any ill intention towards her. I always found her as someone precious to me. I….I loved her."

Everyone in the room could hear his voice breaking at that point. The pain in his voice could easily read that he's been missing the girl ever since. Meiko's heart broke for the boy, but some parts of her couldn't help but to feel….jealous of the girl. She wondered why.

Matsuri continued. "I never wanted to hurt her in the first place. B-But I did. And I hate myself for that everyday. E-Even if you do put me in prison….I still can't find peace with myself. I want…..I want to be stronger…..I want to redeem myself so I can protect those who are precious to me."

Ayaka blinked with a soft expression. She could understand the pain in his heart for what he did and still can't find peace with himself. "I see…..however, I am not the president of the underground student council that belongs to Mari."

"Y-Yes." Mari turned to Matsuri with a stern look. "Matsuri Hitoyoshi, even though you did take those pictures, it is clear that you never had any ill intentions against her. The true culprit is Hayakki, you were just an unfortunate victim in the story. But before I decide your judgment…..do you really wish to redeem yourself of your past mistakes."

Matsuri bit his lip as it quivered, almost on the verge of tears, but he shook his head as he steeled himself. "Y-Yes. I don't care if you throw me in prison, I'm already well aware of my consequences so-"

"Enough." Mari said out loud to stop him. "I simply asked you a question, I did not ask for anything else. While it is true that you did take part in it, again you were just an unfortunate victim. It's clear that you cared for Yoshimiya dearly…but I believe that you should continue improving yourself."

The room became silent. All of the boy's eyes widened in shock and completely baffled by her answer. They were not expecting this from the male-hating president herself. It completely baffled them. Chiyo was also surprised by the sudden development.

Matsuri looked up at the president who stared at him with a rare small smile. Seeing the boy's confused look. "Yes Matsuri…I will not throw you in prison. But I would like for you to continue with the Underground student council and allow us to help you improve on your personality."

"Y-You really mean it…..no strings attached, right?"

Mari shook her head. "No. Not this time. I merely wish to aid you."

Then came the most unexpected. Matsuri, overwhelmed with emotions, rushes up towards Mari and wraps his arms around her. Shocking everyone in the room by his bold action. The boys' mouths were wide open, their cheeks flushed red and their eyes bugged out of their sockets.

Chiyo, Hana, and Meiko held similar reactions as they looked at the scene that happened right in front of them. They couldn't believe what just happened. Chiyo watched on as her sister, who hates male, was being hugged by the very thing she hates. Hana and Meiko didn't know what to make of this scene, caught off guard by what just happened.

Mari didn't know how to react, but her eyes were shot wide open, she started to break into a little bit of sweat and her face flushed red. She was practically frozen in place, it just came out of nowhere for her. She was expecting a simple gesture or even a hand shake. But a hug? A hug from a boy!?

Her eyes looked at the boy who nuzzled on her shoulders with a tearful smile. "Thank you! Thank you so much, Madam President!"

"Y-Y-Yes. I-I'm also glad for y-you. But would y-you please release me ..." She cracked feeling rather embarrassed and a little uncomfortable by Matsuri's hug.

It only took the boy a second to realize what he was doing as he released her from the hug. Giving her a good distance from him. "S-Sorry! Didn't know what came over me!"

Mari blinked before snapping out of her trance. "Y-Yes. Well it's completely understandable that you were just happy…..a bit too much. B-But I'm just glad that you understand." She said before turning to face Ayaka. "Madam President….I'm sorry. I understand that you and Yoshimiya were close friends, but so was Matsuri. But I believe sending him to prison would not do any good in the long run. He was merely just a victim in this tragic tale. Which is why…..I wish for Matsuri to stay here and improve himself while staying here, under the underground student council."

Ayaka just stared at Mari who remained firm. She was not about to be backed down by the former president, no matter what. She was expecting some rebuttal from the former president, but instead got a low chuckle.

"You've changed."

"Huh?"

"Never thought I would see and live the day to see you defending a boy. It seems that this boy had left quite the impression on you for you to defend him." She said as she stood from her seat. "I had my worries that this school would suffer damage with males in this school. And I grew more concerned when I heard about Matsuri's involvement with Yoshimiya's death. But after seeing what I just saw today…there is nothing to worry about."

"M-Madam President….."

Ayaka bowed her head towards both Matsuri and Mari. "I am sorry for appearing so hostile at first. But I needed to know what I was dealing with. And I wanted to see if I could trust what Yoshimiya said about Matsuri. Looks like I can trust you. Unless, you have any other secrets."

Matsuri twitched before raising his hands in defense. "N-No! Honest! I don't have any more secrets!"

Ayaka smiled at the boy. "That is good to hear. Then I have nothing to worry about." She approached the boy standing a good distance between herself and him as she stretched her hand out. "I see that you are a good young man, and I'm glad you became Yoshimiya's friend."

Matsuri's eyes sparkled as he looked at her before looking at her stretched out hand. The boy felt his heart pumped with motivation. His worries and pain were slightly gone, while some still remained, he still was glad that he found some ground with the former president and also Mari.

Matsuri cautiously stretched his hand out towards Ayaka's. Reaching within range, he grabbed her hand as she closed hers, shaking it. Matsuri felt small tears from his eyes as they were about to break through once more. But he wiped them clean with his free hand as he shook her hand.

-Hachimitsu Academy- [Underground Student Council Office]

4:00pm

"I apologize for coming unannounced. But I needed to see how things were progressing at the school." Ayaka said. She sat on one of the chairs in the underground student council office.

Hana was pouring the tea in all four of the cups around the table. Meiko and Mari sitting on one side, with Hana sitting across from them.

"It is alright. I was just surprised to see you at all, Madam President." Mari said.

Ayaka makes a soft smile. "Please Mari, I'm not the president anymore, remember? Just call me, Ayaka."

Mari blushed a little with a bit of a frown. "M-My apology, it's a force of habit. A-Ayaka-sama."

"And no need for suffix either."

"This is going to be awkward for me."

"Anyways, I am glad that this school has not seen any damages or that much changes. Aside from the boys attending the school." She said with a bit of distaste in her mouth before drinking the tea presented to her.

"I'm sorry, Ayaka. But my father believed that this school needed a change of pace. I did fight against him to not change it and keep things the way they were…..but he was pretty persistent, plus he did have a couple of help."

"I'm aware of that. But there's nothing we can do about it. With the boys in the school, life will be different from this point on, the only thing you can do now is just accept the fact."

Mari released a sigh of defeat while rubbing her forehead. A Lot of happened in the past months and it made her rather tired at this point. The five boys, Kiyoshi and his friends, were rather unpredictable and did not know what they were going to do next if trouble came around the corner. However, she believes that Matsuri and Etsuko would keep an eye on the boys, to make sure they don't cause any trouble.

"But it shouldn't be all bad. I trust Matsuri and Etsuko that they will keep the boys out of trouble." She said with a small smile.

"You seem to trust the boy. From my understanding, it felt like you didn't trust the boy at first till now. Did he really impact you that much?"

Mari closed her eyes as she pondered before speaking. "I will admit, my goal was to throw him in prison because I believed that he was nothing more than a filthy scumbag. But…it turned out that I was wrong. Even when the signs were there, I chose to ignore them. I feel that Matsuri has been wronged and while I still believe he could've chosen better options, it was still wrong of what happened to both of them. So I wish to help Matsuri with his goal."

Ayaka smiled. "I see no problem with that. Then I trust him with your hands. I'm also counting on you two as well, Meiko and Hana."

Both of them flinched at the mentoning of their names.

"O-Of course, Madam!" Meiko said.

"Y-Yeah! We'll keep an eye on him! I mean, he is a second-year anyways, so we're practically his senpai at this point."

Ayaka nodded. "That is good to hear. To be honest, I would rather trust him with people I can trust instead of the boys. I fear that they will try to lead him astray."

The girls nodded at this. This was something they had to agree on. While the boys have yet to cause any trouble, they can't exactly come and trust them fully yet. They still tend to cause some minor discomfort for the girls within the school and it only makes them more uncomfortable if they somehow influence Matsuri. It would be bad enough to have six perverts in this school.

"Hey, I was wondering," Hana asked. "What are we going to do about Hayakki? I mean, she's the one who caused Yoshimiya's death, so shouldn't we go on some hunt for her."

"No." Ayaka said from her cup before sipping it. "It would be troublesome if we go out there looking for another student who goes to a different school. Not only would it jeopardize the underground student standing, but it would possibly affect the school entirely. Making us have conflict with the school she goes to. Or worse, the news could be widespread if it gets out of hand."

"In other words, she's being protected and there's no way we can get to her unless we're being extra careful with it." Mari said with a scowl.

"I'm afraid so. As much as I want to see her exposed, it would only cause issues if we don't play our cards right. So for the moment, we are not to do anything that could jeopardize the school."

Meiko couldn't help but to growl under her breath. Deep down she wanted to make her pay for what she did. But Ayaka was right, there was nothing they could do on their end without causing a scene or conflict between the two schools.

"How about Matsuri," Meiko asked, grabbing the attention. "How does he feel about this?"

"I don't know. I haven't asked him about it. But I'm sure he has his own opinion on this."

Hana couldn't help but pout a little. "I bet he's just gonna disagree with getting revenge on her. I can already see it."

Mari pondered for a moment before speaking. If anything she knows of the boy, he was never the violent type, he didn't like being in conflict. "I'm sure it goes against his nature to bring harm to anyone else. Irritating, yes. But that's who he is. I can respect that about him."

Meiko looked into her cups, her eyes looked into her own reflection. With their topic on the boy, she remembered how she told him the story about Shirayuki. Or more precise, a story about 'herself'. She sighed to herself.

"Meiko?"

"Sorry, I was just thinking to myself. But Madam President, are you okay with Matsuri continuing in the council?" She asked with concerns in her tone.

"I was serious. I feel having him in the council could benefit him in the long run. I know we did this to expose him to the scum he is when we brought him the first time. But after what truly happened, I do wish to truly help him with his crippling confidence."

Mari looked at Ayaka. "Is that fine with you, Ayaka."

The former underground president smiled. "I see no problem with it. Like I said, I trust Matsuri with you guys more than I do with the boys."

Hana pondered for a moment. Her finger brought to her lips. "I don't know how I feel about this. I mean having a boy within the council is still weird."

"It would be a strange experience, yes, but give it time and I'm sure you will warmly welcome him…." Ayaka looked among the group. She looked from Mari to Meiko and Hana as they all wore calm expressions. She smiled. "Looks like he already gained your guys' trust."

"Huh?"

"Listen, I know some of you girls still have distrust in Matsuri. But please put your trust in him. He's been through much pain. So treat him with care."

"Yes ma'am." They all said in synch.

Ayaka looked at her phone, a smile grew on her face. "I believe it is time for me to go."

"Ah yes, it's a shame you can't stay a little longer."

"Yes well, I do have things to do on my end, it is about time I head out." She said as she stood up from her seat. "It is nice to know that this school is still under your guys' watch. I rest Hachimitsu Academy in your hands." She bowed.

Mari and the other two got up from their seats as they bowed in return.

"Have a safe trip, Ayaka Hishagi."

Ayaka walked away from the school gate and walked down the street with a pondering thought. It would seem that the school is in safe hands with the council. But some parts of her couldn't help but to feel a little worried with the boys, but not too worried with Mari and the other two in charge.

Her thoughts goes back to the boy whom she was interrogating. His words felt genuine as he promised himself that he would change.

"I want to redeem myself so I don't repeat the same mistake I did in the past!"

A small smile graced her lips. "It would seem you are right, Yoshimiya. He is not like any of the boys I encountered. He is different. Kind, brave and loyal as well. I feel there is nothing to worry about. If only you were to see how he is doing."

Ayaka's eyes looked up towards the dusk twilight sky. Despite the sun setting over the horizon, she took note of the first star in the sky. It twinkled above, far from where she was standing. Her smile widened a bit as she faced the road ahead.

"I guess you are already looking over him, old friend."

-Boy's Dormitory- [Matsuri's Room]

"WOW! REALLY!? SO YOU'RE NOT GOING TO PRISON!" Ritsu exclaimed with her face beaming with energy. "YAY! THAT'S SUPER GREAT NEWS!"

Matsuri couldn't help but to chuckle at his sister's enshuctic energy. He would tell her to tone it down, but he chose not to say anything, he just allowed her to enjoy the moment. Any of the others did not dare say anything either as they are happy as well.

In the zoom call was Akari and Kenchiro, sharing a computer. Ayame was on her own personal device. And Joining the group was Miyuki and Etsuko as well. Matsuri felt like he was having a private party to himself, distance, but was still a party to him at least.

"I'm so proud of you Matsuri," Akari said with a smile. "I'm glad that you're finally coming out of the shell and came out clean. So how do you feel?"

Matsuri pondered for a moment before looking at the screen. "I'll be honest, I still hate myself, but it's not as bad. It feels like I can move freely with no weight pulling me down."

"That's good to hear, son." Kenchiro said with a smile.

"And no more of Crow Mistress looking over you or interrogating you about Yoshimiya. By the way, I'm still a little upset that I wasn't there for the moment you told your past to the former president." Etsuko said with a bit of disappointment in her tone.

Matsuri offered a small chuckle. "S-Sorry. It all just came out so fast."

"Oh well," Miyuki spoke. "All that matters is that Matsuri is safe and is finally moving forward."

"Well…I still feel like there's some work that needs to be done. I still haven't contacted Megumi yet. But I can already guess how she's gonna respond."

"Just give it a try." Miyuki said with a smile. "I'm sure Megumi misses Yoshimiya very much. If you kind of think about it, you two are kind of the same."

Matsuri blinked. "H-Huh?"

"Both of you have Yoshimiya as a friend. And you two really do care for her safety."

"Yeah, the only difference is that Megumi is more manlier than you." Ayame said with a grin.

"Super manlier!" Ritsu laughed.

Matsuri groaned as a blush flushed on his cheeks. Of course they would come with that comment. Even more embarrassed Etsuko and Miyuki were added in the call as they laughed along with their teasing of the boy. However, he did feel a little lifted up at the moment. After everything that happened today, he needed to pick me up.

"But I'm glad you're doing well," Akari said with a smile. "I'm proud of you."

The boy scratched his cheek with a smile. "T-Thank you."

"So hey," Etsuko said, gathering the attention. "If you don't mind, I like to brighten the mood here."

Matsuri blinked before he realized what she was going to do. "E-Etsuko, there's no need to talk about-"

"What's the news girl!" Ayame said eager to know.

"I wanna talk about Matsuri's crush on Meiko!"

And there it was. Matsuri's face flushed deep crimson red. Immediately expressions wiped across the screen on all of the participants in the chat room. Miyuki brought her hand to her mouth as she blushed. Both Akari and Kenchiro's eyes grew wide with their mouths gaped wide open.

"O-Oh my! Matsuri, you have a crush?"

"My baby boy has a crush!" Akari said with excitement.

"U-Um…..well-"

"Matsuri has a crush on Meiko! She's in the underground student council!" Etsuko said with a grin.

"I KNEW IT!" Ritsu yelled with excitement as she threw her fist in the air. "I knew you had a crush on her!"

"Like I said, you know how to pick a woman." Ayame said with a grin.

Matsuri groaned, his cheeks heating up from embarrassment. His thoughts go back to the vice president, despite her rather violent nature, Matsuri discovered a new side to her. Not even the boys have ever seen this side of her. Whenever the girl is caught off guard, he would instead see a rather softer and kinder side. Deep underneath the mask, he gets to see another version of her.

He remembered that Chiyo said that Meiko was never like this before, so what was she like beforehand.

"Matsuri?" Miyuki grabbed his attention.

"O-Oh, sorry. I was just…thinking that's all."

"About Meiko….."

"Y-Yes. I'll admit, I do admire Meiko. I…..she's really attractive and I like how strong and brave she is. Then there's me….I just feel out of her league."

"You worried about that." Etsuko said

"I can't help it. Ayame, Ritsu, you've seen Meiko."

"I do have to admit, she's really something. She also has a nice body as well."

"She is tall and BEAUTIFUL! But she's really scary and strong when someone messes with her man!"

Akari chuckled at Ritsu 's description of Meiko. It almost made her jealous that they got to meet Matsuri's potential love interest. "So are you worried that she might reject you."

"I will admit, I'm a little scared. But I'm more scared of not meeting her expectations." His thoughts were on the amazon goddess. "I know I'm not exactly as athletic nor am I strict or strong as her. But I want to keep pushing forward. I want to try and tackle whatever challenges are ahead of me. Once I find what I'm aiming for, once I have enough confidence, I want to be by her side."

The group looked at Matsuri's with surprised expressions. They weren't expecting Matsuri to express his feelings. He was always a closed book on his feelings, this was especially surprising for Ayame. Today might have been quite the impact on the boy. She couldn't help but frown at the boy.

Matsuri messed with the strand of his hair with his eyes looking the other way. "Sorry, didn't mean to sour the mood."

"Matsuri," Miyuki said. "Do you love Meiko that much?"

Matsuri blushed. "Yes."

"You really are something you know." She smiled softly at the boy. "No matter the challenge, no matter what happen, you always find a way to keep pushing forward. Even if you are scared, you still manage through."

"B-But…whenever I'm in the dumps, my family and friends are usually the ones who help me."

"True, but it's alright receiving help from others. You can't always make it yourself in the end. Getting help from your friends, families, they are what make you stand today. The way I see it, I say you're well on your way. One day, I know you'll find your confidence and confess to Meiko."

Matsuri's face flushed red. "W-Wait! Hold on, I never said confess!"

"Technically you did." Ayame said with a grin.

"And it was beautiful!" Etsuko said passionately as she leaned her cheeks on her hands that were clasped together.

The boy groaned to himself. Why did he have to go and say that outloud to them? Luckily he didn't say that to the boys, otherwise he'll be bombarded with questions, outraged (mainly outraged) and also jealousy. But they could just go after their own girls and have dates if they can or could even talk straight to them without stumbling like idiots.

"Well, for now, I just want to keep going."

"You got this bro. You came this far." Ayame said with a fist pump in the air.

"I'm rooting for ya!" Ritsu cheered.

"I'm sure if Yoshimiya was here, she would believe in you. And I believe in you as well."

"Keep pushing son!"

"We'll be right behind you, sweetie!"

"And you already know, you got my full support!"

Matsuri smiled at the group. "Thank guys."

He hears a knock on the door. "Huh? U-Um, sorry, someone at the door. I gotta go."

"Okay! Bye brother! This was fun, we should do this another time! And invite Etsuko and Miyuki again too!" Ritsu said with a smile on her face.

Etsuko giggled. "I'm game!"

"Alright you two, see you around Matsuri." Miyuki said as she waved good-bye.

"Right. Bye guys." He said as he closed the meeting.

He jumped off of his bed, landing on his feet as he headed straight to the door. He opened the door, his heart skipped a beat as his cheeks flushed red. Speaking of the devil, at the front of her door was Meiko Shiraki.

"Good evening, Matsuri." Meiko said in a calm tone with her arms crossed under her bust.

"G-Good evening, Vice President."

Meiko frowned at that, giving a sigh as she gave him a plain look. "I told you. Meiko is fine."

"Right, sorry. Force of habit." Matsuri nervously chuckled a little. "I-Is there anything you need?"

"Well," Meiko blushed a little, clearing her throat to be ready. "I-I was hoping to check up on you. To make sure how you were doing…also….." She started to falter a little. Small bead of sweat started to drip against her skin. She gripped her arms tight as she looked the other way. "I wanted to talk to you about something."

Matsuri's heart skipped a beat. He didn't know why, but whenever she acted shy, he couldn't help but to find her cute. He shook his head violently before composing himself. "S-Sure. Come in."

Meiko came walking inside, the whole scene felt rather deja vu to the boy. With Meiko gathered in her tight wearing yellow tank that leaves her stomach and belly button open for the boy to look at. And her pink tight wearing shorts that hugged her hips as it perfectly traced her butt.

As she walked through the room, Matsuri's eyes couldn't help but to be hypnotized by her butt as her hip swayed. "Damn it, Matsuri! Stop looking at her!"

"Matsuri?"

"Gah! Nothing!" He said as he looked the other way. "S-So um….what do you want to talk about?"

Meiko raised a brow. "Quick to get me out of your room, huh?"

"N-No. I'm not trying to be rude. I just don't want to take your time…..really." He said feeling a little weirded out and a little nervous.

Meiko chuckled a little. "Relax, I was just joking."

"R-Right….so um….what was it you wanna talk about."

Meiko walked over towards Matsuri bed and sat on the edge of it. "Come sit over here."

Matsuri gulped, but didn't dare question as he walked over and sat next to her. His eyes met her brown eyes, butterflies fluttered in his stomach. Just what was going on with him?

"S-So, what was it you wanted to talk about?"

"Ah yes," Meiko said as she crossed her leg over the other. "Well, I wanted to ask you about Hayakki."

Matsuri blinked. Well, this was something new. After what happened today, he really shouldn't be surprised, but he didn't expect Meiko to question him about Hayakki. His bully. His tormentor.

"O-O-Oh…..what is it?"

"I wanted to know how you were holding up. With everything that happened with Hayakki, I was a little worried….you could say."

Matsuri pondered for a moment. "Well…I'm fine for the most part. I'm glad I was able to let it out and not keep a secret. It…..it really felt good. I'm not gonna lie." He smiled.

Meiko makes a soft smile. "That's good to hear. But how do you feel, really?"

"...you think I want revenge on Hayakki, huh?" Meiko nodded. "If I were being honest, I do want to expose her….I want to hurt her for what she did to me and Yoshimiya. But…..what good will it bring? I'm not really a fan of hurting other people, it would just make me just as worse as them. I can't forgive her for what happened with Yoshimiya, but I don't want to hurt her either. Unless I'm pushed to the edge, then I will fight back. Sorry, you must think I'm weak, huh?"

Meiko pondered before speaking. "Well, I believe some people would think that about you. But I think there's nothing wrong with that. Granted, I think Hayakki does deserve some punishment, but she's your problem, so I'll let you handle it."

"R-Right…..again, sorry. I know what Hayakki did because I've been through it, but I'm not a fan when it comes to getting revenge. It's not like it would bring me any satisfaction nor would it bring back Yoshimiya. So for the moment…I just want to focus on building my confidence."

A soft smile graced her lips, releasing a small chuckle. "Looks like you got it all figured it out."

"Well, I really just hate myself for what happened to Yoshimiya…..she didn't deserve to go through all that….I don't want that same mistake to happen again. That's why I want to keep going and tackle whatever challenge is ahead of me. I want to be like you."

Meiko blushed. Feeling heat rushing through her cheeks, her heart pumped against her massive chest. Her hands moved strands of her hair aside over her ear as she looked the other way. "I-I see….."

The vice president took a deep breath before looking at the boy. "Listen Matsuri…..there's something you should know about me…..I'm…..not as strong or brave as you think I am."

The boy blinked at her. "What do you mean?"

"What I mean is…." She started to fidget in place. Feeling rather awkward. "N-Nothing. Sorry."

Matsuri felt like she was going to say something about her past, he remembered what Chiyo said about her. About Meiko not always being the way she is now. So was she something else in the past beforehand.

The boy dared himself as he scooted closer to her. "Meiko….were you…..never like this before. You know, when you were young."

Meiko bit her lips. She really didn't want to talk about it. But she felt that she could trust Matsuri well enough…..

"You remember the story I told you about…about Shirayuki." Matsuri nodded. "Well…..there's something about Shirayuki you should know about. Shirayuki….well, she was me."

Matsuri's eyes widened. "Y-You!?"

Meiko flinched as she quickly covered his mouth. "Shh! Not so loud you idiot! But yes…..she was me." She removed her hands from his mouth. "Back in elementary school, I was never as brave or confident as I was before I met the president. People would always make fun of me because of…..well…." Meiko didn't say but instead crossed both of her arms under her bosom, pushing them up while squeezing them together.

Matsuri immediately knew. "Y-You're breast."

Meiko nodded with a blush. "They usually make fun of me for how big my breasts are. Calling me names, I didn't have many friends back then. I was…..I was embarrassed by my own breast. So I tried not to make myself known, hiding from the others even hiding my own breast. That was until…..I met the president."

"Mari…"

"She taught me to be proud of my breasts and myself. That was when I realized, it wasn't my breast I wasn't ashamed of…..what I was ashamed of was….my heart." She said as she placed her hand over her breast.

Matsuri blinked as he looked up at her. The boy was at a loss for words as he listened to her tale, he was not expecting Meiko to appear as the shy type. He always found her as some amazon goddess who will put any male in their place. Willing to take charge when the situation is in dire need. But listening to her tale…..it made him rethink his ideal image of Meiko. She wasn't some goddess, she was a girl. A girl who was a little like him.

"My apology," Meiko said as she looked at Matsuri. "I never meant to lie to you. But I didn't know how you would think of me if I told you about my past. I never really liked how I was back then, which is why I try to forget about it. But…when I saw you, I couldn't help but to be reminded of how I was way back before I met Mari. I thought to myself that if you had some boost to pick you up and help you, I thought that a little altar of my story would help."

Matsuri continued listening to her with a curious gaze.

"I was…..embarrassed. To talk about how I was back then. And…it's something I don't want the boys to find out either." Meiko exhaled.

Matsuri ponders for a moment, letting the words sink into his head and heart. A small smile graced his lips. "I….I don't think there's anything to be embarrassed about."

"Huh?"

Matsuri looked at Meiko. "Granted I never knew you back then, but whenever I'm with you. I feel like I discover more things about you. I get to see a side of you that none of the boys get to see. You're really strong and kind."

"H-Huh!?" Meiko blurted as she hugged herself. "D-Don't be stupid!"

"But it's true. The boy's see you as an aggressive dominatrix woman. But…..at least at the moment, now I see a beautiful girl."

The two sat in silence for a moment. Meiko's cheeks flushed red, while Matsuri's face went straight up deep crimson red. He started to sweat as he looked the other way feeling embarrassed of himself.

"WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAID!?" He thought to himself. Both of the palms of his hands rested on his face as he tried to hide his embarrassment. "I….I didn't mean to say that! I…I just got a little carried away!"

Meiko looked at the boy with a blush before releasing a chuckle that got the boy's attention. "I must say, Matsuri. You've been pretty daring lately around me." Meiko said, as she rested her chin on the palm of her hand as she looked at him with a soft smile. Looking at the boy with an alluring gaze. "Am I that attractive to you?"

Matsuri's face heated up, feeling embarrassed again, but this time….he was feeling…..brave. He gripped the blanket of his bed. "Y-Yes."

Meiko didn't say anything again. Her eyes looked into Matsuri's. The two looked at each other for a good minute or so. Their hearts are pumping fast with each passing second. Meiko felt a droplet of sweat dripping against her bare skin. Her breathing became heavy as she continued to stare at the boy.

Matsuri, feeling brave, dared himself. "M-Meiko…..I've been thinking for a while now about you, about what you are to me. For so long, I felt like I was inferior to you. Whenever I see you at work as the vice president, you're amazing. It always makes me motivated to work harder, it was you who helped me back up when I didn't know what to do. There's many things I don't know about you. So I wish….I wish to be closer to you." He said with a bright smile.

Meiko's heart skipped a beat. Her emotion overtook her as she threw her arms around Matsuri's body. Throwing her weight onto him as she pushed him onto the bed. Her massive breast smushed up against his chest. Her head rested over his shoulders as her arm wrapped around his back.

Matsuri's eyes were wide as dinner plates, his face was deep red. His lips quivered in shock and confusion…but not disappointed.

"I…" Meiko started. Her lips blew into his ears. "I wish to grow closer to you as well." She whispered.

Meiko continued to hug Matsuri, their bodies embraced as they lay on the bed together in the room. Matsuri could feel Meiko's heart as it pumped against her chest. His heart pumped alongside. He couldn't help but to hear her breathing, her breath blowing into ear, making him aroused.

"U-Um…..M-Meiko….."

Meiko suddenly bolted from the hug. Using her hands to push her upper body above Matsuri's who was below her. Looking at her with a shaky breath. His face matched the same color as her's. Meiko could feel sweat dripping against her bare skin as it dropped below and onto Matsuri. Her nipples poked out of her tank top, almost touching Matsuri's chest.

"I…..ah~." Meiko said, her voice breaking. She quickly pushes herself off the bed and dashed towards the door. "APOLOGIES MATSURI! I MUST GO NOW!"

Meiko rushes out the door! Shutting it behind her as he could hear hurried footsteps leaving the dorm.

Matsuri remained in bed for a while longer. His body and face, looking up at the ceiling with a baffled expression. But his cheeks remained heated up. His heart pumped at rapid pace from the unexpected hug. He placed his hand over his heart, remembering the soft feeling of her body touching his.

The boy finally breathed. "Meiko…..I…someday…..once I build my confidence and aim for my goal…I will confess to you."

He gripped his chest, looking up at the ceiling with a determined look. He was fired up. His heart was ablaze.

"Someday…."

-Girls Dormitory- [Meiko's Room]

Meiko back was on her bed, hugging her pillow against her body as she looked up at the ceiling. She breathed heavily with each shaky breath. Her body was soaking wet as she was drenched in sweat, dripping against both her skin and clothes.

Her mind was completely on the boy. That little stunt she did, she couldn't forget about it. It plagued her mind. "H-He…..he started praising me out of nowhere! I mean, sure he p-praised a couple of times. B-But this time it felt….he was…ah~."

She gripped her pillow tight as she remembered the praise from the boy. It almost came out as a confession. She felt butterflies in her stomach.

"I…..I never experienced something like this before…could I…..could it be true!? Have I…have I fallen in love…..with Matsuri Hitoyoshi!?"

.

And that's a wrap! Matsuri now aims for his goal. To build confidence in himself and find his goal on the road ahead. All while hopefully to reach where Meiko is and confess his love for her! The road is unclear, but he sets out to overcome any challenges ahead and reach his goal! Good luck Matsuri, you'll need it! As we finally reach the conclusion of the Underground Student council saga and up next is the next story arc and the start of the Aboveground Student Council Saga!

We did it. We reached the end of the first saga and finally made it to the next one, which will be focusing on the conflict between both the two student councils. After so long, Kate and the other two members will once again emerge from the shadows and make their full appearances in the next saga. Matsuri school life will get more insane.

As for Matsuri's story, he came out clean on Yoshimiya's death and is determined to push through and aim for his goal. His story is far from over as he will be involved in the conflict between the two student councils. And I can't wait to develop more of Matsuri and Meiko's relationship as well. To those who are curious, yes, Meiko will revert back to her shy form and I have ideas between the two as their dynamics will be interesting to watch from that point of the story.

I know a lot of you guys want to see Hayakki get some justice dished out on her. But as I said, I don't know how I will intertwine her character into this saga and I don't want to take away the spotlight from the canon character from the story. So for the moment, she will be on the bus…..for the moment. Till then, this next story arc and saga will be on Mari and Kate, with the others pitching in as well.

Anyways, we reached a good point in the story where I will enter a small hiatus break. Don't want to burn myself out with this story. So this is a good time for you to catch up if you haven't got up to the latest chapter.

As always, thank you for reading, leave feedback for improvement and I'll see you all in the next chapter!
