The day has finally arrived. The sports festival is here for the students of Hachimitsu Academy! The decisive battle where the power to the council and the loser disbanded! Who will come out on top, only one way to find out in the new story arc, "Sports Festival Arc"!

-Miyuki's Resident-

July 2nd 7:55am

Miyuki was humming a familiar melody to herself as she was getting dressed. She wore a purple button shirt and a medium size brown skirt and black stocking leggings that fitted against her legs.

Just as she straightens her hair out, she hears the phone ringing. Picking up the phone. "Hello?"

"Morning Miyuki." Said a familiar voice.

"Ah! Akari! Morning."

"Are you getting ready? The sports festival should be starting soon. We're just on the road to school. You want us to pick you up?"

"Oh that won't be necessary. I can drive myself there. I'll meet you guys over at the school."

"Oh this is so exciting! I get to see my baby boy once more at a sports festival."

"Hopefully he doesn't piss himself again like last time!" Ayame snickered in the background.

"Hush you!"

Miyuki released a giggle. "I see the whole family is attending."

"Hi Ms. Miyuki!" From the background comes a peppy Ritsu.

"Hello dearie!"

"Anyways, we're almost to school. Don't wait too long."

"I won't. I'm just about to head out-" She blinked when she heard someone knocking on her door. "Oh, um…I'll see you guys in a bit."

"Okay, bye."

Miyuki ended the call as she set her phone down on the drawer before heading to the door. "Coming!"

She walks up to the door, setting her hands on the knob before opening it up.

Miyuki is greeted by two men who are dressed rather well with one of them being at least fashionable. One man had medium blond hair on the back of his head and a long ponytail that stretched down his neck. He wore a gray coat over his shoulders revealing his white button shirt and gray pants. Wearing dress shoes that compliment his professional work.

The other man had short gray hair with his back end long enough that stretched on the back of his neck. He wore something similar to the blonde boy but he wore a black and white suit.

"Um…hello?" Miyuki asked with a curious tone.

The blonde boy spoke first. "Excuse us madam. My name is Hinata Masayoshi. This is my partner, Yuto."

"U-Um…hello. If I may ask why are you two here…"

Hinata coughed in his hand before continuing. "W-Well, as you can see…um…h-how can I put this…"

Yuto rolled his eyes as he spoke up. "We are investigative reporters and we're currently investigating the death of your daughter Yoshimiya."

Hinata flinched as he looked at his partner with a frantic look. "Y-YUTO!"

"You were talking forever. Plus I think she needs to know."

"I know that but still! This is the mother! She maybe still coping about her-"

"It's fine." Both of them looked at the mother and held a sympathetic smile. "I'm well aware of my daughter's death. It's tragic and I still miss her…but if you two are here for an important matter regarding my daughter's death, then I will do my best to help."

The two men glanced at each other with baffled expressions. More so from Hinata then Yuto. "Well…that makes things easier on us. But you make it sound like you know who killed your daughter…"

"Would you two gentlemen like to come in and speak? But please make it quick, because I have somewhere to go."

"Oh, that won't be necessary. We won't take too much of your time. We just wish to ask you some questions regarding Yoshimiya's death. That is…i-if you have some answers…"

Miyuki's expression remained sunny, but slowly turned serious. "Alright…what do you need to know?"

Hinata held an expression on his face. Taking a deep breath before speaking. "I don't think I need to explain myself since you already know, but still I would like to recap. Yoshimiya jumped off the building of her school due to those pictures being spreaded across the school. Apparently the police tried to find out who took those photos but…they couldn't find anything. No evidence, no video, no witnesses. Nothing."

Yuto spoke up next. "The police were going to close the case. Writing it off her death being caused by stress. However, my partner here wishes to see this case through. And that led us here to you…"

Miyuki took a deep breath.

"I-I understand if this is hard for you. But could please…do you have any clues that could lead us to who caused her death…"

Miyuki didn't answer, in deep thought to herself before looking at the two detectives. "I know who did it."

Both the men's eyes widened in shock. Hinata looked hopeful. "Y-You do! That's great! Do you know who did it?"

Miyuki looks down once more before continuing. "A…a very kind young man came to my house. He's the one who told me about Yoshimiya's death…"

This caught the two by surprise. "W-Wait…someone told you this…"

"In the case it didn't say anyone was involved. At least that's what we heard."

"I'm not sure how she went unnoticed. But this boy…he was a friend of my daughter. Both of them were such good friends…until…that day…"

Hinata bit his lips as he watched her expression. Taking a deep breath before asking. "Do you know who this boy was…"

Miyuki looks up at the blonde gentlemen. "His name is Matsuri Hitoyoshi…he's a very kind boy and good at heart but…he was forced into the situation."

Yuto brought his finger to his chin. "So are you saying he's the one who took those pictures?"

Hinata blinked as he looked between Yuto and Miyuki. The mother bit her lips. "Yes."

"H-He did? But how could he!? You said that they were friends!?" Hinata asked in a panic tone.

"Calm down." Yuto set his hands on his shoulders. "Before you go off the mark, she did say that he was forced into this mess. In other words, he's not the mastermind."

"E-Even so, but he still took those photos…he should've had other options instead of taking that way."

"Please don't misjudge Matsuri." Miyuki grabbed his attention. She held a kind sad smile on her lips. "As I said, he's a very sweet boy…he even came and told me about my daughter's death. Plus…he's been through enough as it is."

Hinata just blinked at the woman who held a frown as she fiddled with her hands. Hinata bit his lips before calming down. "I-I'm sorry…I just…I can't stand it when innocent lives are played with here."

Miyuki shook her head. "It's understandable. You don't have to apologize. I can tell you just wish to see my daughter's death through, right?"

Hinata looks up at the woman with a determined expression with his fist contact towards his chest. "I vowed to myself that the true story behind your daughter's death will be heard. Even if it kills me."

"Let's not go overboard with this. Back to the topic, do you know who the real mastermind is?"

Miyuki nodded. "I know who it was…her name is Hayakki Nekumi."

Both of them blinked. Hinata propped his head up with his fingers under his chin. Looking up at the sky in deep thoughts. "Nekumi…I feel like I heard that name before…"

"If I recall," Yuto said with his hands across his chest. "Isn't she related to the movie producer Tatsuya Nekumi of Sakura Production."

"Ah! That's right! He's pretty famous in the movie business! W-Well, their B-rated movies, but I've heard he made a name for himself…but to hear that his daughter was the one who plotted Yoshimiya's death…I…I don't know what to think."

"I think we got something else to think about with this new lead? If Hayakki truly was the mastermind, then why wasn't she involved in the case? Surely the law enforcement had to have noticed something in her records. We even tried investigating several warehouses in town and yet it always comes up empty." Yuto looks at his partner with an intrigued expression. "Looks like we got something to work with here."

"That we do," Hinata looks back at the mother. "Um…if I may ask…you wouldn't know where Hayakki is…"

"I do. She attends Atsuhiko Academy."

"I see. And what of Matsuri, does he attend the same school as well?"

"Oh no, he's attending a different school. Hachimitsu Academy."

Both Hinata and Yuto look up with surprised glances. "Hachimitsu, wasn't that an all-girl school?"

"It was." Yuto said, gaining his attention. "But was later changed to allow co ed. So chances of us finding Matsuri could be easy…somewhat."

"We'll just have to focus on that later. Anyways, sorry for taking up your time and thank you for the information."

Miyuki smiled brightly once more. "I hope I was of service. Now if you excuse me. I must be off. You two gentlemen take care now."

"G-Guh! Yes ma'am!" Hinata blushed as he bowed.

His partner bowed as well but did it more calmly. The mother waved at them both before walking down the steps. Leaving the two to their thoughts.

"So…what do you think about this…"

"What do you mean?"

"About this Matsuri kid, looks like you were about to blow a fuse."

Hinata sighs to himself. "To be honest I'm not sure how to feel. I want to trust Ms. Miyuki's words but…to think that her own daughter's friend betrayed her like that…I can't just stand it."

"But according to Miyuki, she said that Matsuri was roped into the mess. We can't judge yet unless we hear the full story."

Hinata bit his lips. "Your right…"

Yuto set his hands on his partner's shoulders. "I know you want to solve this case. I know you do. But you need to calm yourself down. We will get to the bottom of this case."

"Your right…your right…" He took a deep breath before looking at his partner. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine. So then…what's our aim?"

"Well we got two leads. Let's head out to Atsuhiko Academy, I would like to ask Hayakki some questions."

Yuto nodded with a firm stare. "Atsuhiko Academy it is…."

-Hachimitsu Academy-

The day had finally come, Hachimitsu Academy was in full swing as many students gathered at the back of the school in the middle of the track field. Many flags hung from poles, stretched across the yards. At the entrance standing tall was an overarching structure with a bold font sign.

48th Hachimitsu Academy Sports Festival

All over the field were set up stands with shades over the tables and chairs. A big scoreboard with two scores currently at zero. Many of the students were wearing the same outfits. White shirt and red gym shorts. However, there was a difference with each of these outfits. On the chest was an emblem tailored in front of the shirt, in the shape of a snake. And through the middle of the snake was wording spelled: Aboveground Student Council.

"ALRIGHT YOU PIGS IN HUMAN CLOTHING!" Etsuko yelled with an enthusiastic voice. Standing tall in front of the boys who looked at her intensely. "TODAY THE DAY WE'RE GONNA DEFEAT THE ABOVEGROUND STUDENT COUNCIL! RETURN THE POWER TO THE UNDERGROUND STUDENT COUNCIL! AND SAVE THE SCHOOL FROM THE TYRANNY OF EVIL! DO YOU HAVE THE MARI'S BACK!?"

"YES MA'AM!"

"THEN LET'S DO OUR VERY BEST AND DEFEAT THE ABOVEGROUND AND SAVE THE UNDERGROUND STUDENT COUNCIL!"

"FOR THE UNDERGROUND STUDENT COUNCIL!" The boys yelled.

Both of them looked between each other. All four of them focused with intense stares.

"AND WE WILL DO THIS…FOR THE SAKE OF THE WET T-SHIRTS CONTEST!"

As the five were being loud, the other group were on the other side watching with mixed reactions. Yukina closed her ears with an annoyed expression.

"Ugh, so annoyingly upbeat, that child!" Yukina said.

Chiyo held a nervous smile. "Aw, don't be like that. She's just trying to keep their spirits up."

"Well, at least she's being strong, that's for sure." Tsubaki said as she rolled her eyes.

"I don't care. She's still annoyingly upbeat." Yukina was not impressed one bit.

Mayumi looked at the crowd of students who were walking around. Her eyes scanned their shirts that had snake patterns on the shirt right on their chest. She held a nervous expression. "T-There's a lot of students here who are on the aboveground council side…do you think we have a chance?"

"Hey, it's now or never, right?" Anzu said as she set her arm around her shoulders. "We already knew what we were going to get ourselves into, so we gotta make it work!"

"She's right!" Satou said. "We just need to push through!"

"EXACTLY! WE WILL WIN THIS FOR THE UNDERGROUND-!" Etsuko stopped as her cheeks were pushed together.

Yukina looked right at her with a glare. "If you yell one more time, I swear I will cut your throat. And I'll make it look like a bloody accident."

"MMMPPPPHHHH!?"

As the others were exchanging conversation, Matsuri looked amongst the crowd. Just from looking at the numerous girls who wore the shirts, confirming that they were on the aboveground student council sides. His heart was pounding against his chest, he felt cold sweat sliding against his bare skin.

"There sure are a lot of them…do we really stand a chance against them?" He thought to himself. "I…what if I embarrass the underground student council? I don't care if I embarrass myself, but I don't…I don't want to embarrass Mari and the others."

"You could always back out." Matsuri flinched as he looked to the side. Megumi didn't look at him but kept her gaze on the crowd. "If you think that I'm gonna be mad at you for ditching us I'm not. I understand that you don't like the attention drawn to you, so you could tell Mari that you wish to back out."

Matsuri blinked gazing at her before looking back at the crowd. "I…I'm not going to back out."

Megumi glanced over towards Matsuri.

"I mean, we already made it this far, so we mind as well see it through, right? And besides, I can't just leave Mari and the others to themselves. So I need to push forward…"

Megumi held her expression before looking at the crowd. "Look like you've changed. I thought for a moment that you were going to cry and nearly piss your pants like you did back at our old school."

Matsuri looked back at the girl with a hurt expression. "D-Don't need to go that far…"

"It's true though." Megumi said without looking at him. "However, I will admit, you did change somewhat. Last time you were always hiding behind Yoshimiya, but now you're able to stand your own ground."

"To be honest, it feels like I haven't made much progress…I've just been giving some words of encouragement here and there…"

Megumi glanced over at the boy. "So you're not going to count that whole bit of you punching that fat boy from attacking your girlfriend."

Matsuri's face flushed completely red. "I wouldn't say that…I mean we're close-"

"Just admit it. You're in love." Megumi bluntly said.

Matsuri tries his best not to show his face to the girl, his face being completely red. "I-I guess I am…"

Megumi sighs to herself. "Listen, you protecting the Vice President shows how much you've grown. Even if it is little, it is still something you did on your own. I mean, at least it feels like you can now stand on your own feet without the need of others fighting your battles."

Matsuri looked at the girl with a much more calm expression. He was surprised that she gave him such calm advice. He would think that she would give him a scolding or at least a good punch to the gut.

"Thanks I guess…I'll try to remember that…"

"You better. Don't make me hunt you down and give you a good throttle." Megumi bluntly said.

Matsuri flinched at that. "R-Right…"

"Good. Everyone is here."

They hear the voice of Mari who came walking with Meiko and Hana by her side. All of them were wearing the same outfits as all the other girls. Except with the crow emblem tailored on their chest and the word Underground Student Council on it.

Matsuri's eyes wandered to the gray haired vice president in her physical activity uniform. Her shirt wrapped tight against her torso, the usual, her massive bosom pushing outward. But due to her height, her shirt was half mid way revealing her stomach. Her red gym shorts wrap against her waistline.

"I know I've seen her in outfits before but…she really does look good in any outfits she puts on." He thought to himself.

Meiko noticed his stare, but Matsuri's memory jogged back to when he and Meiko were in the gym room. Meiko being on top of him and her hand playing with his mushroom.

He looked the other way, trying to hide his face. "I CAN'T CONCENTRATE!"

Meiko noticed his fluster. "He must still remember that time when I touched his…well…private spot. I can't blame him though…I just don't know how to talk to him about it."

Between the two, Mari noticed how both of them were not facing each other. Matsuri with his face flushed completely red. All while Meiko had her cheeks faintly red. Raising a brow, she didn't put too much thought into it as she looked onward.

"Anyways, I see that you're all here in time. That's good."

"GOOD EVENING MADAM PRESIDENT!" All of the boys (aside from Matsuri) bowed their heads with intense force.

Mari raises a brow at the boys. "...um…you don't need to force yourself."

"MADAM PRESIDENT-DONO! THIS BATTLE IS UTMOST IMPORTANT TO YOU! NAY! FOR ALL OF US!"

"HE'S RIGHT! WE'RE GONNA DO WHATEVER WE CAN TO HELP YOU!"

"WE'LL TEACH THEM A LISTEN!"

"AND *WHEEZE* GET YOUR POSITION BACK IN ORDER!"

All of the boys raised their hands in the air!

"FOR THE UNDERGROUND STUDENT COUNCIL!"

"AND FOR THE WET T-SHIRT CONTEST!"

"..."

All of the girls, even Matsuri, were just looking at the boys with blank expressions. Everyone except for Etsuko who held a smirk as she raised her head in the air with both her fist on her hips.

"I taught them well."

"What are you? Their mother?" Tsubaki commented.

Mari coughed into her hand. "Well, anyway. As much as I appreciate your spirits, could you please tone it down a bit."

"THEIR JUST GIVING YOU THEIR ENERGIES!" Etsuko yelled as she struck a furious pose. "IT'S ESSENTIAL THAT WE BECOME LOUD AND-"

She stopped when she felt her waistline being grabbed. Yukina had her body bend down, being able to wrap her arm around the first year. She then hoisted her in the air, Etsuko screamed in fear as she saw her whole world being flipped. Performing a perfect arch, she bent to a complete 180 degrees and then she piled drove her to the ground.

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! SHUT THE HELL UP!" The ninja girl yelled at the top of her tongue with a terrifying blood screeching tone.

Etsuko remained there unconscious from the move. All of the students present on the spot looked onward with terrified expressions. Especially the boys who trembled with fear as they stared at the girl who returned back to her original posture.

She eyed the group. "What? I was trying to be nice, but she wouldn't listen."

"Y-You could've just asked her to be quiet." Tsubaki said with a bit of a worried expression. "I-Is she even still alive?"

"Oh don't worry about your pretty little head. I only knocked her out. She'll be awake soon."

"Oh my, it's quite lively over here, isn't it?"

Mari glanced over to the left. Striding over to their group, with her ever growing smirk. Dawned in her physical activity outfit. Striding along both her sides were Risa and Mitsuko. But what came to a shock the most was the fact that Andre was walking behind them with his head hanging low in defeat. Due to his size, the shirt and shorts could barely fit him. Revealing his whole stomach with his stomach spilling out.

"A-Andre…" All of the four boys thought at the same time.

Matsuri looked at the boy with a cautious look. "Has he…truly sided with them…"

"Hello everyone~! What a pleasant morning it is, right? A good day for our certain victory." Kate said with a smirk.

Mari crossed her arms across her chest. "How are you certain that this is your victor?"

"Oh? Are you doubting me? Well, it doesn't matter either way. I have the high advantage," Kate said as she nudged her head towards Andre who hung his head low. Not bothering looking at the group. "In contrast to your team."

"H-Hey! We won't take that from you-" Shingo only stopped when Mari held up her hand.

She looked at the girl with her usual expression. "You may be correct on both ends. You do have the advantage with Andre on your side. I knew you were going to use him for your own needs…"

"Sis…" Chiyo asked in concern.

Kate only smiled as she planted her hands on her hips. "Oh, are you starting to accept your loss, well Mari, I would've never-"

"However," Mari interrupted the orange hair girl who looked at the raven hair girl. "I have full faith in my team."

This surprised the group. Many of them looked at the underground student council president with similar expressions. Even the boys held expressions of disbelief. Matsuri looked at Mari as if she was talking nonsense, but when he was looking at Kate with a firm stare, it was clear she was being genuine.

"Huh? I'm sorry? You…having faith in this group."

"Why? I don't see the problem. Sure, I wouldn't say this crew is the most efficient type, but these students…no. They sided with me because they are my friends. At first when you overthrew USC, I felt I was at the end of my ropes. However, I was taught to look at my shortcomings and rely on my friends who have my back. Again, I may not have the most efficient group…but I believe in my friends."

The group were left speechless. Just what had gotten into her? Was this even the same Mari from when the semester started? Just what did they miss during those days?

Even Kate looked at her with a bit of a tremble. "O-Oh…i-is that so? Well then…that's a nice answer and all. But do you truly have faith in your friends? If you truly do believe in them, then why don't you put those words to the test. During the Cavalry battle."

Mari only smiled as she leaned towards Kate's face. "I intend to."

Kate offered a rare smirk at the girl. Before she turned around, she looked at Mari and the group. "As much as I want to continue this conversation, I have other business to attend to. I look forward to our battle, Mari."

She left with Mitsuko and Risa by her side. Treading behind Andre did not even bother looking at the group. Not even sparing a word or exchanging conversation with his friends. All four of the boys notice the dark gloom shade that's covering half of his face.

"Geez, not even gonna spare a word with his friends." Shingo said feeling a little hurt from how Andre ignored them.

"M-Maybe they just got him against his will…"

"...I'm not entirely sure about that." Mari stated. "It's just a hunch, but I don't think Kate is controlling him. He just looked…dead to the world."

"Maybe he still holds a grudge against Matsuri for stealing the Vice President." Kiyoshi said.

Matsuri only felt his cheeks grow hot as he looked at Kiyoshi with a glare. "No need to be blunt about that…"

"Well, it wouldn't surprise me." Yukina said as she crossed her arms across her chest. "What is it with you boys when it comes to competing for your loved ones?"

All four of them flinched under her stare.

"I-Indeed. Why are you looking at us for the answer…"

"Well, when it comes to idiocy, you four fit the bill."

"This girl is just being blunt and honest with them straight." Tsubaki thought to herself.

Hana looked towards Mari with a concerned look. "H-Hey, you sure we got this. I mean, don't get me wrong I have faith in us, but going up against someone like Andre…"

Mari looked at Hana. "To be honest, I was actually putting on a brave face to be honest. Trying not to show Kate how worried I am. Apology."

Chiyo walked up to her sister with a smile. Clasping Mari's hands into hers. "I know we got this! Even if the odds are small, we've made it this far! So I believe in us!"

Mayumi sighed to herself. "There she goes, being optimistic."

"It's the best we got, right? Let's get some positivity in this team!" Satou said with a smile.

"You're just as optimistic as Chiyo." Anzu said with a blank expression.

Meiko pushed her glasses up with a smile. "Chiyo-chan is right. Madam President, we made it this far, so there's know backing out now."

"Yeah! Let's teach those assholes a lesson!" Hana said with a fist in the air.

Mari blinked as she looked at the group. She was surprised how they were still by her side, even with the odds against them. The edge of her lips pulled up, making her smile at the group. "Thank you all…anyways, we still got time before the opening ceremony. I would like for us to train a bit more for the Calvary contest."

"Yeah, good idea," Chiyo turned towards her friends. "We should practice as well!"

Yukina looked at Megumi and Tsubaki. "We should practice as well."

"Definitely," Tsubaki said before she walked over to Etsuko, still unconscious. She scooped her up and threw her over her shoulders. "We'll see you guys later."

Mari nodded at the group before looking towards her own group. "We should also focus on our formation."

"Yes ma'am!" They all said as they followed Mari to a secluded spot so that they could practice their formation.

Kiyoshi looked towards his group. "Right, let's do this guys! For the USC! And for the wet t-shirt contest!"

"YEAH!"

Kiyoshi and the others put their hands in the middle, all of them giving each other a firm stare. However, as Kiyoshi scanned the group, he realized that someone was missing…a certain hoodie wearing boy.

"Hold on…where's Joe?"

Shingo and Gakuto blinked as they looked around. "Strange, he was here a moment ago?"

"Come on man, just as WE were going to train!" Shingo threw his hand up in the air.

"Looks like Mari and the others are gearing up." Risa said with a pondering thought.

"Y-Yeah, they looked like they were ready. D-Do you think we'll actually win this?" Mitsuko said with a not so confident tone.

"Oh don't worry about your pretty little heads." Kate said as she looked over her shoulders. Looking at the emotionless big boy. "With Andre on our side, we're sure to win."

Andre did not respond as he just lifelessly walked along with them. Risa slowed her pace so that she could be right next to him.

"You okay?"

"...yeah."

"Don't push yourself. If it too much-"

"No." Andre simply said. "I'm fine."

"ANDRE!"

The group stopped when they turned around. Standing on the opposite end was Joe, standing his ground.

"Huh? You're Joe, right?" Kate asked.

"Y-Yeah…" He coughed.

"If your here to gloat, I'm kind of-"

"Andre…" He interrupted her. Causing her to blink. "I'm here to talk with Andre…"

"Sorry, but Andre is not feeling too energized at the moment. So please-"

Andre raised his hands in front of Risa. Stopping her in mid sentence. His lifeless eyes looked at the hoodie wearing boy.

-Isolated Area-

"What is it that you want?" Andre said in a low tone.

The two were in a secluded alleyway away from the crowd. Andre back was against the building, but his head was still hanging low as if he was defeated mentally.

"I was *cough* just wondering if you were feeling alright…"

"...I'm fine."

"Like hell you are. Andre it looks like you went through the ringer or something-"

"I said I'm fine."

"No your-"

"I said-"

"WOULD YOU SHUT UP FOR A MINUTE AND LET ME SPEAK DAMN IT!" He wheezed some blood from his mouth.

Complete silence between the two. Joe breathed in and out from the yelling.

"Andre…if you're under their control, please let us help you. You don't have to follow their orders! We're your *cough* true friends! They're the enemies!"

"..."

Joe walked up to the boy slowly, cautiously setting his hands on the big boy's shoulders. He gave a warm smile to the boy. "Andre…come on, let's go back to the group and defeat the ASC."

"...hehehe….hahaha….." Andre started laughing.

His laugh started to grow more hysterical, that it started to scare the hoodie wearing boy. Joe backs up a bit from him as Andre begins to hold himself in place. Bending to his knees, still laughing like a hyena. He slowed his laughter, breathing at a normal pace. His face is still not showing.

"You…you honestly believe that…I'm being controlled by the likes of those girls…" He slowly raised his head up at the girl. "You're dead wrong." His tone changed.

"A-Andre…"

"You see Joe, my dear old…chum, you call it? I didn't join them because they forced me to…I joined them because it EXACTLY what I wanted to do."

"Y-You joined them because it was all in your plan!? Why!?" He wheezed blood.

"Isn't obvious," He said as he slowly raised to his feet. "The sports festival, the calvary contest. It's all the perfect battle field for when I can finally destroy my true nemesis!"

"...Matsuri…"

"That's right….Matsuri." Veins formed in his eyes. "That child…that boy…HE WILL DIE IN MY HANDS! AND ONCE I'M DONE WITH HIM, I WILL FINALLY GET BACK THE VICE PRESIDENT! ANDRE EMPIRE WILL RISE ONCE AGAIN!"

"...so that's it." Joe said with a tremble. His hand formed into a fist. "That's why you're doing this…to get at Matsuri…to get the Vice President back…ALL OF THIS IS FOR YOUR PETTY REASONS!?"

"PETTY!? ME!? DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH! DON'T YOU SEE, MY GOAL IS TO DEFEAT MATSURI IN BATTLE AND SAVE THE VICE PRESIDENT!"

"THE ONLY ONE WHO NEEDS SAVING IS YOU!" Joe yelled with a wheeze.

Andre looked at the boy with a growl.

"Don't you understand, Andre? You're losing it. All you're doing is damaging yourself with these delusions of yours! If you continue this-"

"SHUT UP! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ME!?" Andre snarled, drool coming from his mouth.

"Andre please! Let us *cough* help you! The Vice President isn't even into you anymore. She chose her path and now-"

Before he could finish. He felt his neck being forcibly grabbed by a pair of strong hands. Gripping his neck! His feet were dangling in the air, frantically moving about. He looked to see Andre enraged, a morphing face looking dead at him. Saliva slipped through his lips as he pushed his face towards his.

"You shut up! You don't understand! That boy will die by my hands! Do you hear me!? He's my enemy! I could give a rats ass about the ASC goal! ALL I CARE ABOUT HIS MINE!"

"A-A-Andre…p-p-please….your…h-" Joe was trying to speak but Andre stopped him by pushing his fingers deep into his neck.

"AND YOU! YOU DARE GET IN MY WAY! JUST TRY IT BASTARD! JUST TRY IT! ANYONE WHO GETS IN MY WAY! WILL BE DEAD ON SIIIIIIGGGGGGHHHHHTTTTT!"

"ANDRE STOP!"

Andre felt a blow to the side of the head! He dropped Joe as he landed on his butt. He grasps his neck gasping for air. Risa raced next to the boy, patting on his back. Joe did a few hard coughs here and there, still catching his breath.

Risa shot a glare at the large boy. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! YOU NEARLY KILLED YOUR FRIEND THERE! IS KILLING MATSURI REALLY THAT IMPORTANT YOU! I'VE TOLD YOU TO LET GO OF THIS WHOLE REVENGE PLOT AGAINST MATSURI! YOUR NOT KILLING HIM AND YOUR NEVER GETTING MEIKO BACK! SHE'S WITH HIM! THAT'S IT! IT'S OVER! IF YOU CAN'T GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK HEAD! I SWEAR I WILL HATE YOU FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!"

…..

Complete silence between the two. Andre didn't say anything, but felt a twitch developing in his eyes. His hand curled into a fist, clenching hard enough that blood was leaking between his fingers. He started to seeth through his teeth, his body trembling.

But in the end. He didn't do anything. He storms off in the other direction. Leaving the two by themselves.

Risa kneeled next to Joe. "You okay?"

"M-More or less….I…I thought for sure Andre was *wheeze* was under your guys control…"

"Of course not. We offered him a spot and he agreed to join us."

"S-So then-" He stops as he starts to wheeze out blood.

"H-Hey! Take it easy!" Risa said worried about his health.

"I-I'm fine…I'm just…I'm just worried…." His hand turned into a fist. He felt his breathing being caught between his tears. "I…I want my old friend back…I want him back…"

Risa wanted to say something, but felt it wasn't her turf to say anything. She looked down the direction where Andre left. He footprints left on the dirt path.

"Andre…damn it. Should I just tell Kate that Andre is not well enough to participate…no. Then that would leave us at a disadvantage for the calvary contest…what do I do…"

-Track Field- Secluded Area

"Okay, let's do this one more time." Mari said to the three members in front of her.

Matsuri, Hana, and Meiko nodded and readied their formation. Both Matsuri and Hana walked over towards Mari on both sides with Meiko in front. The gray haired vice president faced front as she bent down on her knees with both her hands reaching behind. Matsuri and Hana did the same thing, with their left hand reaching out and resting on Meiko's shoulders. And their right hands grasping Meiko's. Mari then followed as she rested herself onto both Matsuri and Hana shoulders, she set her feets onto their hands that grabbed onto Meiko. She then rested her hand on Meiko's shoulders as she leaned forward.

"Okay then, now rise!"

"YES MA'AM!"

Matsuri, Meiko and Hana hoisted the president up. Mari rested her butt on the edge of both Matsuri and Hana shoulders with some of her thighs resting on their arms. Matsuri could literally feel her soft thighs on his arm and due to how close she was, he could smell a hint of perfume from her. The boy shook his head as he tried to pay attention to the training.

"Okay, again like before. Move forward!"

They followed her order and moved slightly, once they got used to it, they started to run a little faster with Mari still on top. Matsuri kept up with their pace, despite keeping his cool, his eyes couldn't help but to gravitate towards the gray haired vice president hips. The nape of her neck had some droplets of sweat dripping against her bare skin. Just from being behind her, he could get a good smell of lemongrass scent from her.

This caused the boy mushroom to react once more. "Damn it! Not now! Not while I'm training for the Cavalry battle!"

He shook his head trying his best not to think hard about it. His eyes then gravitated towards her butt. He could make out the shape of her butt as her shorts hugged against her.

The sudden thoughts of Meiko on top of him from the gym incident rushed back into his mind again. He could still feel those sensations of her on top of him.

"I can't help it…no matter how I look at her, I always think of her in the most erotic positions! I know she's practically used to me around her space and all but…sometimes I feel I'm nowhere good enough for her…but I want to prove my worth to her. For that I need to change…and show her…how much I love her…"

"MATSURI! PAY ATTENTION AND TURN!"

Mari's voice snaps him out of his trans! He noticed that the group were turning away from him, his grip on Mari's foot was pulling her to his side. Mari tried to lean towards Hana to avoid falling, but Matsuri wasn't paying attention as he tripped himself. Falling forward with Mari collapsing onto both Matsuri and weighing in on Meiko's back. Hana fell to the side, falling on top of them. The formation completely collapsed.

Meiko bears the weight from all of the members on top of her back. Matsuri leaned to the side of Meiko. He could feel Mari on top of him with some mop of her hair on the side of him. Hana was laying on top of Mari's back.

Matsuri could hear the frustrated growl from Mari, he could sense her glare. "S-Sorry about that…again."

"THAT WAS THE THIRD TIME YOU SCREWED UP!" Hana sat herself up as she looked in the direction of where the boy was under the pile. "WE HAVE AN IMPORTANT BATTLE TODAY AND HERE YOU ARE SCREWING UP!"

"S-Sorry! I-It's just that…I'm a little distracted."

"...Matsuri…" Mari asked as she breathed in and out to calm herself. "Hana is right. We do have an important battle coming up later today, but we can't do it if you're not cooperating with us."

Hana got up from the pile as she helped Mari up. Matsuri got off of Meiko 's back and sat on the ground, his eyes looking up at the president. "Um…again, sorry."

"Are you gonna explain what's troubling you?"

"You better start explaining!" Hana said as she cracked her knuckles that caused Matsuri to flinch.

"U-Um! No need for that…but it's just that…it's very personal…"

Matsuri felt his neck being pulled from behind as he felt a strong arm around him. Hana was putting him in the choke hold. "YOUR ASS IS ALWAYS TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING FROM US! WHAT? YOU DON'T TRUST US ENOUGH!?"

"N-No! It's not that but-"

"BUT WHAT DAMN IT! I'M GETTING REALLY TIRED OF YOU HIDING SECRETS FROM US!"

"H-Huh?"

Hana turned him around so that he could face her. Still holding him by the collar. "Listen here! I know it's only been a few months since we've known each other! But you have to remember, you're part of the council! Which means you're part of the team! If you have any problems then you tell us!"

Matsuri blinked at the girl with a baffled expression.

"I'm just…I'm just so damn tired of you keeping secrets from us! Not only does it affect our work, but it also makes us worried about you!"

Matsuri blinked, unsure of what to say to that. Well she is right for the most part about him keeping secrets, but there was a completely different reason why he's not focusing….

"Hana…I'm sorry for worrying you…I really am."

Matsuri stopped when he was pulled towards her. "Don't just apologize to me, dumbass! Apologize to your girlfriend!"

She shoved Matsuri towards Meiko. Literally pushing him up against the gray haired president. Both of their faces turned bright red just from the physical contact! They quickly faced the other way from each other.

Mari and Hana watched from the sideline.

"Obviously something is going on between them." Hana said with a blank expression.

"Indeed." Mari said as she looked between the two. She remembered how Matsuri turned away from the girl when they approached the group. "Could it perhaps be something going on between the two…"

"BIG BROTHER!"

Matsuri was suddenly hugged from the side. He finds himself falling to the ground, feeling a weight on his side, he sees a familiar black haired girl with some red highlights on the edge.

"R-Ritsu!?"

Ritsu lifted her head up and looked at the boy with a grin. "HI BIG BROTHER!"

Mari and Meiko recognized the girl. "Ritsu?"

Hana blinked at the little girl. "Who?"

"Found her!"

He then heard a familiar voice from the side. He turns to see three familiar faces. His older sister Ayame who wore a sleeveless white button shirt that was under a purple and blue loose jacket with some blue jeans.

Then there were his two parents. Kenchiro wore a gray collar shirt and some pants and causal flip flops. Where his mother wore a blue shirt dress and a long pink skirt with flower designs on it.

"Sis! Even mom and dad!?" Matsuri was completely baffled by why they were even here to begin with.

Ritsu was the first to answer that. "WE'RE HERE TO SEE YOU WET YOUR PANTS!"

Matsuri flinched at that with an added groan. Of course she would say that. Trying to ignore Ayame snickering at her brother.

The boy rolled his eyes as he just ruffled her hair. "Glad to see you again, Ritsu."

Ritsu smiled at the boy as she gave him a heartfelt hug.

Akari smiled warmly at the two. It's been a while since she saw them interact together. "I really did miss this."

Mari walked over to the three. "It's been a while, Ms. and Mr. Hitoyoshi. And it's good to see you as well, Ayame."

Akari smiled at the girl. "Hello, Mari-san. I hope my son hasn't been causing you any trouble."

"Or is your paranoia of men still hindering you to get to know my little brother a little more." Ayame sent an intentional grin at the girl.

Mari rolled her eyes at the girls. "No. In fact Matsuri have adjusted well here under the USC. You could say he left an…interesting impression on me."

Kenchiro smiled. "Well, it's good to see you getting along with our son."

"Ah yes. I believe that you both haven't met the rest of the members," Mari said as she gestured over to the two other female members. "This is Hana. She's the secretary of the USC and is a friend of mine."

Hana flinched a little. "O-Oh. U-Um…h-hello. It's nice to meet you both."

Akari bowed. "Hello, Hana. It's wonderful to meet such a cute girl."

Hana blushed. "U-Um…t-thanks."

"Nice to meet you." Kenchiro said.

"HEY!" Ritsu appeared right in front of Hana that caused her to jump. "I know you! Mari showed me a picture of you!"

Ritsu said as she was getting a good look at her, causing the girl to squirm around a bit. "I'm getting some eerie Etsuko vibe from this girl."

Ritsu looked from her legs all the way up to her face. "You got a pretty nice build. I bet you attract some boys."

"Huh!? N-No! I don't really focus on romance and what not!"

"Aw, really? That's too bad. You're so cute though."

Hana's face flushed deep red. She could feel her heart pounding against her chest. "Geez, what's with this kid? It's not like I'm interested in romance! There's no way! Some of the boys here aren't even my taste…except for…"

A sudden image of Kiyoshi popped into her head. Causing her to face the other way, hiding her face from the group.

"THE HELL!? WHY DID I SUDDENLY THOUGHT OF HIM!? SURE I THINK OF HIM EVERY NOW AND THEN, BUT HE'S A FRICKIN TOAD! I CAN'T BE IN LOVE WITH HIM!"

Mari was a little curious about Hana's behavior. "Hana? Are you okay?"

"Huh!?" Hana faced the others. Her face is still somewhat red. "Y-Yeah! I'm fine! Just thinking about something."

Ayame took notice of her face. Her face still looked to be heating up from thinking about something. A grin widened upon her lips, but chose not to push her luck.

Mari turned to Meiko who held a blush on her face. "Ah, and I believe you-"

Ritsu raised her hand with an eager expression. "OOO! I WANT TO INTRODUCE HER!"

Mari looked at the small girl as she had sparkles in her eyes. She looked towards Meiko who just sighs in defeat before she nodded. The president looks back at the girl. "Very well."

Ritsu squealed through her mouth. She runs up towards Meiko and grabs her hand. She pulled her forward a bit more so that both her parents could get a good look at her. To Meiko's prediction, she saw the expression on both of Matsuri's parents.

Both Akari and Kenchiro blinked at the girl. She certainly wasn't any ordinary girl, at least from her attire and appearance. From her muscular legs, plump thighs. But of course what distracted them the most was her massive bosom that pushed against her shirt that revealed her stomach.

"Oh my…she's very beautiful."

"Bet she gets lots of stares from many men."

Ritsu gestured her hand to the girl. "This is Meiko Shiraki! She's the vice president of the USC. She's super strong, beautiful, smart and…SHE'S MATSURI'S GIRLFRIEND!"

The whole group stopped. Range of expressions spreaded across their faces. Mari facepalm herself with a defeated sigh. Hana's cheeks heated up a little, her eyes blinking rapidly at Ritsu then at Meiko, then at Matsuri. Meiko's face was completely red as her body began to be soaked with sweat. Her heart was pounding against her chest.

Akari and Kenchiro held shocked expressions. They looked towards the girl who was currently sweating on the spot, her eyes trying to avoid not looking at the parents. Then they turned to Matsuri who wore the most hilarious expression. His pupils are small, his mouth wide open and his face being completely red.

Ayame was laughing her ass off, holding her stomach as she bends to the ground.

"THIS IS MATSURI'S GIRLFRIEND!?" Both Kenchiro and Akari thought at the sametime.

Meiko trembled on the spot. "U-Um…ah~. Um…it's nice to…meet you both." She bowed her head.

"O-Oh! Um…it's nice to meet you finally, Meiko." Akari said.

Kenchiro cleared his throat. "Um…it's nice to meet you as well. S-Shiraki Meiko."

"Well, didn't I tell ya!? Isn't she beautiful like I said she was!" Ritsu said with excitement.

"She sure is, dear…" Akari couldn't help but to look at the girl who was a complete nervous wreck.

"She certainly is beautiful. I can see why Matsuri finds her attractive…but does she even love him?"

Matsuri composed himself before looking at Ritsu. "RITSU!"

"What!? It's true though! You said it yourself during our little zoom meeting online!" Ritsu said with a pout.

"She's right." Ayame said with a grin. "You practically said it yourself."

"ACTUALLY! NO! Etsuko was the one who blurted out about Meiko!"

Mari rolled her eyes with a sigh. "Of course she was the one who said that out loud."

"But I don't see why you're being so embarrassed. You practically can't get enough of her." Hana said with a blunt tone.

"YOUR BEING TOO BLUNT!" Matsuri said with a flinch.

Meiko was slightly sweating on the spot with her cheeks fiercely blushing. Her eyes pondered to the left with a blush. She then walks up to Matsuri, standing behind him as she sets her hand on his shoulders. Making Matsuri flinch as he turns over his shoulders at the tall girl.

"L-Look, our relationship is between us and us alone. And…" Meiko softly gripped onto Matsuri's shoulders. She took a deep breath slowly before looking at them. "I would appreciate it if you all don't pick on him."

Meiko held onto Matsuri tight with a fierce blush as she bent down, her face next to his as she stared at them with an attempted glare. Matsuri shook under his breath as he looked at Meiko with a blush. She noticed that she was nervous as well, but she had a firm grip on the boy's shoulders.

Ayame and Ritsu blinked rapidly at the girl. Honestly, they were surprised to see the girl defending the boy from their teasing.

Ayame grew a soft smile. "Looks like things happened between the two."

Ritsu squealed to herself with glee. "The way she's protecting my big brother! Something definitely happened between them!"

Mari and Hana blinked as they glanced at each other before looking at the two love couples. Mari held an interested stare while Hana looked onward with a faint blush.

Akari held a warm smile. "It seems my concerns were answered."

Mari coughed into her fist getting everyone's attention. "As much as I would love to continue this conversation. I fear we're in the middle of training for the calvary contest."

"O-Oh! Sorry! We didn't mean to interrupt you in your training!"

"It's no trouble. I just need to speak with one of my members…well at least one." She said as she eyed the boy who flinched under her stare.

"Well, sorry for interrupting. We'll catch up with you guys during break. Oh that's right. Matsuri, Miyuki will be coming here as well."

Matsuri flinched. "H-Huh!? M-Miyuki is coming as well!?"

"Of course." Kenchiro said with a smile. "You know she wouldn't miss your important event."

"I-I mean, I'm glad she is, but….." Matsuri scratched the back of his head with a nervous glance.

"I'm not sure if you guys want to be here if anything crazy happens."

Matsuri felt his body leaned as he felt his sister's arm wrapped around his neck. "Come on, you're a man now. It's not like you're gonna embarrass yourself by wetting your pants."

Matsuri groaned at his eldest sister. "That's not gonna happen."

Kenchiro coughed in his hand. "I think we should leave them now, girls. Come on, let's go watch the ceremony."

"Oh! Okay!" Ritsu said before she runs up and hugs Matsuri's leg. "Good luck out there brother! Knock them dead!"

Matsuri smiles as he bends down and hugs his sister. "I will. I'll see you soon, sis."

As she is done hugging him, she runs up and hugs Meiko's legs, shocking the girl. "Keep my brother safe, Meiko!"

Meiko was caught off guard for a moment before she gave her a soft smile, she picked her up and hugged her back. "I will."

She sets her down as she runs up and hugs Mari. "O-Oh…um…I promise to keep him safe as well."

Ritsu released a satisfied smile. As she is done hugging Mari, she runs up to Hana and hugs her legs. Hana was caught off guard, her cheeks flushing red. She didn't know how to respond to this, but she then patted her head.

As she was done, she ran back to her parents. Kenchiro smiled at his son. "You do your best out there, son."

"I will."

Ayame gave her brother a fist bump with an added grin. "See you soon around break."

On that note, Matsuri's family left the small group. Heading over to the stands where all of the others were watching from. Matsuri held a smile on his face as he watched the backs of his parents and sisters walking away from them.

Mari cleared her throat, grabbing their attention. "Now then, back to what I was saying. We cannot focus on our training for the Calvary contest if you're being too distracted, Matsuri."

Matsuri then remembered. "O-Oh…um…right…"

He turns to see Meiko, he instantly remembers the incident back in the gym room. His cheeks flushed faint red. Meiko took notice of his glance and his behavior. She possibly knew what he was thinking about.

Mari glances between Meiko and Matsuri. Coming to a conclusion as she sighed. "Alright then…Hana. Could you please take Meiko to a spot to rest."

"Huh?"

"...I wish to speak with Matsuri, alone." She said as she looked at the boy who glanced elsewhere.

Hana's eyes went wide for the moment when she looked between Meiko and Matsuri, both of them looking in opposite directions with embarrassed looks. "O-Of course! Come on, Meiko."

"Y-Yes." Meiko said as she followed her friend.

Matsuri silently watched the back of the vice president. Watching her walking alongside Hana, taking note as she took one small glance back at the boy before looking up ahead with a quick motion.

He was snapped out of his trance when he felt a painful pinch on his cheeks. Pulling on it was Mari, giving the boy a firm glare. "Alright. She's not here. Start talking."

"G-Guess I'm easy to read for you, huh?" Matsuri said as he rubbed his cheeks as soon as Mari let go.

Mari rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms under her breast. "Matsuri, if there's one thing that I know about you, it's that you're too easy to read by just looking at your expression."

"A-Ah…right. Sorry." He shamefully admitted.

"There's no need for you to apologize, but instead, I want to hear what happened between you two. You two didn't get into a fight now, did you?"

"No. We didn't. But…well…something else happened…"

Mari raised a brow at the boy. "What do you mean?"

"What do you mean, something else happened?" Hana asked with a curious tone.

Both Meiko and Hana managed to find some good distance away from Mari and Matsuri. Leaving the two to talk alone, while Hana decided to speak with Meiko on her side to see what was going on between them.

Meiko crossed her arms under her bosom as she looked the other direction with a blush. "Well…you see…yesterday, I and Matsuri were in the gym and he was helping me train for the sports festival."

"Yeah, I figured that you would be doing that. But what's going on between you two? That's what I'm really interested in." Hana cut to the point.

Meiko's face almost became red at this point, sweating on the spot as sweat dropped against her bare skin. She took a deep breath before continuing. "Um…b-before I do…do you perhaps remember what happened between you and Kiyoshi?"

Hana raised a brow. "What do you mean?"

"Y-You know…when his mushroom touched you between your thighs…"

Hana's face immediately flushed red. She remembered vividly during their little incident in the infirmary. When they were under the bed. Both her and Kiyoshi were without pants or underwear. Close proximity…and his mushroom just…

Hana shook her head. Violently shoving aside such memories. "Y-Yeah…I remember! B-But why bring up such memories that now I have to work hard to repress once more!"

Meiko started to fidget in place. Her face became more red by the moment. Her sweat only intensified. "U-Um…so…"

"Matsuri…." Mari looked at the boy with a narrow glare. "Why did you suddenly bring Hana and Kiyoshi into this…what are you trying to say…"

"B-Before I say anything! Please, it was all an accident! It wasn't the intention of what we were doing…"

Mari blinked at the boy. Notice the panicked look on his face. She sighed to herself. "Matsuri, I don't even know what happened. Please calm down and just tell me."

Matsuri shook a little with a faint blush. Taking a deep breath before telling her. "So yesterday, I asked Meiko to help me train as well…you know, to know some self defense. I needed to know how to defend myself from Hayakki."

Mari narrowed her glare. "Hayakki…you fear she's gonna come for you?"

"I mean, I'm almost guaranteeing that she'll come for me and…well, you could already guess."

Mari was rather curious about the whole deal between him and Hayakki. While it is true that she has done some things that are bad. But to be relentless and go after Matsuri...something wasn't right?

"A-Anyways, I told her to train me…"

"So you two trained a little. Okay, not a big deal." Hana said.

"No…there's more after that…you see…I was too engrossed in my own little world. And well…I fell on top of Matsuri…"

Hana's eyes widened as her cheeks flushed a faint red. Gaining interest in the story…

"So you're telling me she fell on top of you then…" Mari recapped.

"Y-Yes…it all happened so suddenly. I think she was too distracted. But yes…she fell on top of me. I…I tried to not think about anything but…I just couldn't pull myself together…"

Mari raised her brow even wider. "Matsuri…what are you implying…"

Matsuri didn't say anything as he looked at the president with a shameful expression. He started to squirm, his hand clasping as he shoved it between his legs. Mari took note of his movement as she looked at his hands and where they were placed. She pondered for a moment before it hit her…

"Hold on…you're telling me…"

"I-I didn't know what it was at first! I thought i-it might have been something like a bump or something! But it wasn't…it wasn't a bump at all!"

"H-Hold on! Meiko, you're telling me that you…you…"

Meiko hugged her hand between her massive soft breasts. Bringing it close to her lips, her face looking in the different direction. "His mushroom…it touched me…and I…well…started rubbing it….his mushroom…"

"Y-You…"

"Matsuri…y-your telling me she…"

Matsuri looked at the reddened face of the underground student council. "Y-Yes…she rubbed it."

"SHE DID WHAT!?"

"YOU DID WHAT!?"

Meiko frantically waved her hands in front of the girl. "Shh! Quiet! Not so loud! I don't want anyone hearing this! Especially with Matsuri's family here!"

Hana was quick to cover her mouth. But it sure didn't stop her heart from pounding against her chest. She certainly was not expecting this at all! Something like that will happen between Matsuri and Meiko!? Especially Matsuri of all boys!?

She looked at the girl who was still sitting with a reddened face. "S-So…that's why you two have been acting weird…"

"I'm afraid so…" Meiko sighs to herself. "I…feel so ashamed of myself for doing that. But I never knew what it was…"

"I-I mean, it's not like you didn't know. Besides, I'm sure Matsuri is not mad at you."

"I know he isn't…but I'm sure he feels uncomfortable at the moment. He's even having a hard time looking at me."

Hana recalls how Matsuri was trying to avoid eye contact with her. Then there was the whole deal with the cavalry formation practice. "Now that I think about it. He was pretty close to her and was touching her as well…bet he had all sorts of thoughts in his head after their little exciting moment…"

Then it hit her. A thought came to her mind.

"Hey Meiko," She grabbed her friend's attention. "M-Maybe this could be a good thing."

Meiko looked at her friend with a confused look. "I'm sorry…"

"Listen, so you guys experienced something new. I'm sure Matsuri doesn't hate you. In fact…I think he's wanting to experience more with you." She said with a grin.

"Huh!?" Meiko's sweat intensified. "W-W-What are you saying!?"

"Come on, think about it. Matsuri's a boy. Remember?"

"I know that! But he's also sensitive!"

"But that doesn't mean he's gonna stop thinking about things in his head though! It's clearly written all over his face!"

"E-Even so…" Meiko hugged herself as she glanced the other way. "I still feel like he's holding back…"

Hana blinked. "Huh?"

"I mean, I'll be honest with you…I found the experience to be…interesting to say." Hana's face lit up. "I honestly couldn't stop thinking about it last night. The way it felt, how I was on top of him. It was all so sudden…I couldn't stop thinking about him. And I wondered how I was going to face him. I thought I had it figured out…but…in the end, even I'm too embarrassed to face him…"

Hana gazed upon the vice president who became shy all of sudden. The way her hand moved to cover her mouth. Her eyes fluttered about, looking in the opposite direction. Her other hand moved to grip the edge of her shirt and pulled down.

"She looks more and more like a girl…" Hana thought to herself with a soft smile.

"Hey Meiko…" The gray haired vice president looks at her friend. "Why now speak with Matsuri?"

"Huh?"

"I swear, you two are so alike. Both of you are shy about each other when it comes to love and can't face each other if something happens. But if anything, I think you should sort things out with Matsuri."

"B-But…" Meiko stopped when Hana poked her nose.

"No 'buts'. You'll speak with Matsuri and sort your two feelings out."

Meiko blinked at the girl. Her eyes looked down at her breast with a pondering thought. She does wish to sort things out between themselves. "But…would I even get the chance…"

Meiko shook her head as she steeled herself. "No…I shouldn't run away from this…I need to speak with him when I get the chance…I need to be honest with my feelings and tackle this head on…"

"Your right…" Meiko spoke as she took a breath. She looked at Hana with a firm stare, despite the faint blush on her cheeks. "When I get the chance, I'll speak with Matsuri."

Hana held a satisfied grin. "There she is. That's the vice president I know…"

"Yes…why not sort things out between you and Meiko…" Mari said to the boy.

Both Mari and Matsuri were sitting down on some nearby steps. Matsuri rubbed his cheeks as a stinging hand mark was left on the side of his face.

"Sort it out…"

"Matsuri, you can't keep running away from this. I mean, there's no point since Meiko is in our group."

"I'm not saying remove her. But I'm just saying that…well…I can't stop thinking about her…ever since yesterday, I couldn't get her out of mind….ugh! I feel like I'm starting to act like Kiyoshi and the others…"

"True." Mari said bluntly that only made the boy growl in frustration. Glancing the other way with a pout. Mari took notice of this and couldn't help but giggle. "But there's no helping it I guess."

"Huh?"

Mari looked at him with a soft smile. "Matsuri, I trust you."

"Y-You do…even though I'm a boy…"

"Again, I trust Meiko in your care. I know you enough that you're a diligent and kind boy. You put her safety first instead of your own needs. And that alone makes me happy that your not one of those who are after her for your fantasies."

"Of course not. I don't focus on that…" He said, but he noticed the blank stare from Mari, causing him to retract. "O-Okay, maybe I do have some fantasies, but it's nothing too delusional."

Matsuri played with the strand of his hair, a thought coming to his mind.

"It's just that…Meiko…to me she's very beautiful. She's strong, brave and also diligent with her own works. When she's at work, she's an amazing person who's incredible in every way. But when she's off duty, I see a kinder and softer side to her. It's like underneath all that hard exterior, she reveals her true self for who she really is. That's…I truly do find that admiring about her."

Mari listens to the boy.

"But then there's me…I'm nowhere near as amazing or strong. I'm weaker, with a weak body frame and just not as brave as she is. Someone like me looking at her or getting close to her…I feel I'm just gonna slow her down. Or…just…ruin that part of her." Matsuri looks down with a defeated face.

He suddenly felt a soft gentle touch under his chin. Following their silent command, he looks up at the underground president. Who held a soft expression towards the boy.

"Matsuri…you need to stop thinking of yourself like that. Meiko trusts you and she admires you as well. If any boy tries to touch her, she would immediately put them in their place. But you…it's different. She trusts you well enough to allow you to be in her space. You make her feel safe and in return you try to help her. You may not know it yourself, but you truly do help her."

Matsuri blinked, had nothing to say as he listened to the girl.

Mari held a smile. "I know you don't have much confidence in yourself. But let me tell you something…both you and Meiko are alike in more than one way. Both of you are hard workers, both are kind and soft. While you are different in strength, both of you support one another who lacks in one area or the other. That alone should tell you that you both build trust in each other. Just as you did for me when you first came to the council."

Matsuri blinks with a faint blush. His thoughts pondered for a good second. He steeled himself and looked at Mari. "Y-Your right…I'll sort things out with Meiko…"

Mari's smile widened as she removed her hands. "There we go. Of course, how about we do that when we get a break time. The ceremony is about to start."

Matsuri flinched. "Gak! Shit! We didn't have enough time to practice!"

"It's alright. Come, let's reunite with the others so we can go to the ceremony."

"R-Right." Matsuri said as he got up from the steps and walked alongside Mari.

"O-Oh…and sorry about the slap. I guess old habits don't die that well." Mari said with an ashamed look.

"I-It's fine. I had it coming anyways…"

-Track Field-

Spreaded across the field, a wide and vast number of female students crowded the field. All of them dressed in their physical activity uniforms. Wearing their white shirts and red shorts. Across their chest were a symbol of a snake and the word: ASC written in the middle. All while a small select few wore their emblem with a crow design on their shirts with the word, USC on it.

Standing on the sides, under the canopy were the teachers and other staff members. Alongside plenty of other adults as well.

Within the crowd, Matsuri took note of many who gathered here for the sports festival. He started to feel a little intimidated. "I…I know sports festivals are all important…but there's too many people here…"

He's all of a sudden reminded of his time at the sports festival at his old school. Old memories that he did not want to revisit, but resurfaced once more.

He stopped trembling when he felt a soft touch on his hand. He looks to see a familiar hand on his own. He looked up to see Meiko whose eyes were up front, but did a side glance at that boy before looking up at the podium. Matsuri could feel her tight grippen on the boy, making him feel safe and calm. He took a breather before looking forward with a firm stare, not letting go of her hand.

Coming up to the microphone on the stand Kiruyu was in similar physical activity uniform as all the other students.

"Greetings, students of Hachimitsu academy! And welcome to the 48th Hachimitsu Annual Sports Festival."

All of the students clapped their hands.

"Now then, I shall hand this speech to the student council president, Kate Takenomiya!" She said as she stepped away from the microphone.

Kate walked up to the microphone with a smile on her face. As she stood in front of the microphone, she stood straight with a wide smile. "Hello everyone at Hachimitsu Academy! And it is with great pleasure that I greet you all on this fabulous day for a sports festival! But not just any sports festival…"

Kate's eyes scanned the crowd, among them she took notice of Mari, who held a glare at the girl. Kate grew a grin on her face. "A fight…to determine who will hold power in the student council!"

Hana rolled her eyes. "Look at her, she's practically rubbing it in our face!"

"Try not to let her get to you. It's just her trying to put on a show." Mari said to her friend.

Kate continues her speech. "But let's be honest, I shouldn't be the one who should be up here giving a speech, after all, this is a battle against the two councils. So then…how about I have someone else up here with me…like…Mari Kurihara."

All of the students murmured to each other. Everyone holding confused expressions, also holding concerned expressions as well.

Matsuri was a little concerned. "I feel like she's just enjoying this…"

"Of course she is." Meiko seethed. "That bitch is just trying to upstage us."

They were snapped out of their trance when they took notice of Mari already walking up to the stand. All of the students cleared the way, all while mumbling to themselves about the girl. Whispering all sorts of words to her.

"She's going against the president?"

"It's kind of a shame though, I was such a fan of her and the council members."

"I bet you they're gonna lose. No way they're gonna win."

Mari heard all of these words, but chose to ignore them as she approached the steps of the podium. She took notice of Kate's smile that held onto her face. She reaches Kate but remains distant from her.

"Good to have you up here, former president of the student council. Oh, my bad. Or should I call you the USC president…"

"It doesn't matter."

Kate only settled with a grin. "I hope you and your little team are ready. Because your chances of victory are very slim. Given that you only gathered a small team to go up against the school."

Mari narrowed her eyes on the girl. "You can't be sure though."

"True. But the numbers still stand. Of course, the smaller events don't really contribute much, I dare say they could affect the popularity of the USC."

The students and staff and guests listened to the two banter back and forth.

Ringo leaned next to Ino. "U-Um…should we stop this."

"It should be fine. If they were to get into a fist fight then we would intervene. This is just some friendly rival competition."

"I-I don't know what you call…friendly rivalry." Ringo said with a worried expression.

"Don't worry about it." Takamoto said, grabbing their attention. "It's just two students being teenagers."

"Well, you sure seem confident in your team." Kate said as she kept the microphone between the two.

"Of course, I do. Though maybe small, I have full confidence in my own team. And we will beat you at your own game." Mari said with confidence in her voice, no stuttering.

The crowd began to murmur once more. This time sparked a change…

"She sounded pretty confident there."

"I know. But is it enough though…"

Kate only smiled wider. "Well, I hope you best back those words of yours with actions. Because I'm not gonna go easy on you."

Upon Mari's lips, a small smile graced her lips. "I wouldn't expect you to back down either ways, Kate."

Kate flinched a little from the way Mari looked at her. A faint blush flushed on her cheeks as she stared at her rival in the eyes. "I just don't get it…the way when she stares at me like that…I just get so lost…and my heart…it can't stop beating…why…"

"Kate." Mari asked.

Kate snaps out of her trance! "A-Ah! Sorry about that! But yes, our true battle is during the Calvary contest! I look forward to seeing how you will win against us!"

Mari held her ground with a grin. Something that didn't really sit well with Kate, but she chose to ignore it as she faced forward.

"Now then, let us all vow! Not to embarrass ourselves as students at Hachimitsu Academy! To embrace good sportsmanship and to compete fairly and honestly!"

The boys looked amongst the crowd. "I don't know if this is what you call fair…" Kiyoshi said.

"I know man. This isn't going to end well, I just know it." Shingo said with a defeated look.

"Don't get your hopes up yet boys." Gakuto spoke up. "We've made it this far. So it's best that we continue our story from here and see it through!"

"Gakuto *cough* right! We *wheeze* I just need to push through!"

"H-Hey, you okay Joe. I mean, it looks like there is some blood from your mouth."

"A-Ah! I'm fine. Just a little coughs here and there! But don't worry about me, let's do this…for Andre." He muttered at the end of his sentence.

"Indeed, Joe-dono is right! For the USC."

"Right, for the USC!" Kiyoshi said as he put his hand in the middle.

"For the USC!" Shingo said.

As their hand joined in the middle. As if through telepathic, they all connected to each other's mind and thought of the same thing.

"AND THE WET T-SHIRT CONTEST!"

And thus…the battle began.

.

And that's a wrap! The day has finally come. The long awaited sports festival! But challenges lie ahead of our heroes as they stand up against the ASC. And not only that, Andre has a hidden darker agenda in his own hand that could shake up the school from the ground up. Trouble is brewing ahead in this brand new story arc, Sports Festival arc!

Well, we are here at last. Time we get into action as we finally approach the sports festival saga. As you are all aware of, this story arc will be different from the canon plot. The canon plot had a more major focus on the scuffle between Kiyoshi and Hana. While the other major half was just the group trying to revive Meiko to control Andre. For my story however, we will just get straight into the action. The councils will engage in combat through a series of events. However, I don't intend on making it long, do not quote me, but I believe the story arc will possibly take up at least 7-10 chapters. This could change in the coming future, but we will see.

Also, we get introduced to two new characters. Special detectives Hinata and Yuto, who are currently investigating the case of Yoshimiya. These two won't make too many appearances during this arc, but will have major roles during future story arcs. And yes, we get to see a little bit more of Hayakki and her new friends in this arc as well. But like with the two detectives, they will not have a major role in this arc, but in the future.

And we also come to Andre. His character would be pretty similar to how he was in the canon, but with a twist. I think some of you guys can take a good hint of what I mean. Till then, just wait and see what I have in store for him.

This story is officially 2 years old! I consider that a milestone! Thank you for your support and I hope you continue reading to the very end! I should really do something special for this anniversary, perhaps I should get off my lazy butt and do something productive for once! XD

As always, thank you for reading. Leave review for improved feedback. And I will see you all in the next chapter!
