The chaotic cavalry battle has come to an end. But what fate lies ahead for everyone? What will happen to the existence of both the council? And what of Andre's future? All will be answered in this conclusion of the Sports Festival arc….

-Chairman's Office-

"AYAME! WOULD YOU CALM DOWN! PLEASE!" Matsuri said as he tried to stop her from harming Kate who was cowering behind Meiko.

"LET! ME! GO!" Ayame gritted through her teeth.

Amongst the office. The USC, the ASC, Matsuri's family, Miyuki, the chairman and Matsuri's friends. At the moment, Matsuri, Etsuko, Tsubaki and Yukina were trying their best to hold her. Matsuri and Etsuko were holding her waistline. Tsubaki and Yukina were trying to hold both her arms from trying to even reach Kate.

"I KNOW YOUR MAD, AYAME! BUT CAN YOU CHILL FOR A MOMENT!" Tsubaki said.

"THAT'S RIGHT! PLEASE CONTAIN YOURSELF!" Yukina said as she struggled to keep her left arm at bay.

"THAT'S RIGHT! YOU SHOULD USE THAT ANGER ON ANDRE INSTEAD!" Etsuko said.

"YOU'RE NOT HELPING!" All three of them said.

"AND YOU!" Yukina said as she angrily looked at Megumi whose back was against the wall. "WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE! COME HELP US!"

"...why?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'WHY'!?"

"I mean, it was Kate's fault. I say let her have it."

"I agree." Hana said with a nod.

Kate just whimpered even more as she just shrunk even further behind Meiko. The vice president sighed to herself as she looked at Ayame who was desperately trying to aim for the girl behind her.

"Ayame…I know you're mad. But could you please try to control yourself…" Meiko said with a calm expression.

"HOW CAN I!? IT'S THAT BITCH FAULT! PLUS SHE AND HER CRONIES ALMOST KILLED MY LITTLE BROTHER!"

"Sweetie," Akari spoke up. She was standing by her husband while holding Ritsu close towards her. "I understand your anger but could please not cause any trouble. I mean, your anger is pretty much spreading at this point."

She looks down as she looks at Ritsu who held a cute pout, glaring at Kate and the others.

"Come on Ayame, beating them isn't gonna solve much of the problem." Kenchiro said. "However, I believe the main anger should be on the boy who tried to kill our child."

"That's right." Miyuki said as she looked towards Usano who was sitting behind his desk with his hand folded in front of him.

The man gave a long pondering sigh, within deep thoughts of the next course of action to do with the large boy who was not present at the moment. Sitting on the couches looking at him were the six staff/teachers who were waiting on his answer for the angry parents and sisters.

"It is true…Andre has caused such trouble for the school since this day. He even almost killed Matsuri during the chaos. I should place the blame on myself if I were…honest."

"H-Huh?" Kate looked towards the man.

"I should've gotten Andre some professional help…I wasn't aware that Kate had some other plans in…mind." He said as he shot a glance at the girl.

Kate bit her lips with a bit of a whimper. It's true. She had put everyone in danger. Not only that, she almost got Matsuri killed. It was never in her agenda to kill anyone. She just wanted to fight Mari and beat her fair and square. But she got more than what she can chew.

"However, I do agree with all of your arguments. But there is a problem…you see, the boys have come to me before this meeting and they wanted me to keep Andre in this…school."

"HUH!?" Ayame yelled as her attention was on the chairman. "THE HELL DO YOU MEAN KEEP THAT FAT BASTARD AT THIS SCHOOL!?"

"Please listen…" Usano said.

"NO! I'M NOT COMFORTABLE KNOWING THAT MY LITTLE BROTHER IS ATTENDING TO THE SAME SCHOOL WITH THAT BASTARD HANGING AROUND!"

"I must agree." Akari spoke with a glare. "I do not feel safe knowing that my son is still exposed to potential dangers…and no offense but…after witnessing the sports festival…I'm not sure if I feel okay with Matsuri attending the school at all. Well…given the types of students he's with."

Usano closed his eyes for a moment considering her words. "I understand your worries, Akari. But I assure you that Matsuri is in capable hands."

"Um…no offense Chairman, but your eldest daughter tried to get my little brother in prison the first time around…" Ayame said as she scratched the back of her head.

Mari, Meiko and Hana felt a slight tinge of guilt from the mentioning of that. It was true. They tried to find ways to send Matsuri to prison with the other boys. Mari then remembered how she gave Matsuri a panic attack from the interrogation of what happened to Yoshimiya. She remembered how the boy's face looked when they mentioned her and what had happened. Even though it was all true that he did take part in it, he still felt guilty of what had happened back then.

"That I am aware of. However, Matsuri's relationship with my daughters and her friends have grown stronger over the following months. And seems to be growing stronger even till now. Not only that, your son has made great friends along the way of his own. Those he can consider consoling to if things get too much for him to bear. Yes…your son is in safe hands with those he made friends…with."

"That's right!" Etsuko said as she jumped on top of Matsuri's shoulders. The boy nearly lost his balance but regained his position. "Aside from the USC and the others! He got me, Tsubaki, Megumi and Yukina to rely on."

"I'm sorry. But I don't believe I ever recall you being called…'reliable'."

"Nor exactly someone to console if one is feeling down." Tsubaki added in with Megumi nodding in silence.

Etsuko held a smirk. "Oh~. For your information, Matsuri has already consoled me when he was down once. Which makes me extra special in his case…right, Matsuri~?"

Matsuri held a small smile at the girl. "Yeah…you were the first friend I made here…so I guess."

"What do you mean guess!?" Etsuko said as she squeezed his face with her legs. "Are you saying that I'm not your very second best friend!"

"Second!?"

"Yeah! Tsubaki was my first! You're my second, Chiyo, Mayumi and Megumi!"

Yukina developed a twitch under her eye. "Um…I beg your pardon. But what about me?"

Etsuko eased up on her squeeze as she looked at the ninja girl. "Huh? What about you?"

"Where do I fit in your circle? Not that I really care or anything."

"You're my rival!"

"...I guess I'll accept that." Yukina surprisingly accepted her remark.

Mari sighed to herself with a small smile before looking towards Matsuri's family. "I…I like to speak if I may…"

Kenchiro and the others glance amongst each other before looking back at Mari who was followed by Meiko and Hana.

"Your son…I will admit, I did try to throw him in prison. Because I once believed that men were trash…of course, I still stand on that mindset…but I have loosen a little. Ever since I have made friends with your son. My view on him has changed. He is not trash nor is he a scum. But in fact, he's a noble young man who only wishes to live his life. And help those in need."

"Matsuri…he's rather remarkable in his own ways." Meiko said with a faint blush. "Sure, he can be cowardly and even afraid to move forward, but with each passing step, he has come to prove to us just how much of a reliable member he had become to the USC. And a great friend."

"Weird, you didn't label him as your precious like last time." Hana jokes, causing Meiko to glare at her with a fierce blush. "I'm kidding. I'm kidding. But yeah, I'm on the same boat. He's not a bad guy. He's alright. He's been there with us through and through. A bit cowardly, but also brave as well."

Kenchiro held a smile. "Well now, looks like our boy has made a good impression on you, after all."

"True. He did. Sometimes he can be a handful to deal with in his own unique terms. But he is still our valuable member. We promise to keep your son safe."

As Mari and the others were giving their speech. Kate was left stunned. She was surprised to see Mari vowing to protect a boy of all people. She hated boys from what she remembered. But to see her in this state is still rather surprising to her.

She was taken out of her stance when Risa suddenly spoke. "I'M VERY SORRY FOR WHAT WHAT WE'VE DONE!"

The group turned to see Risa whose whole body was on the ground with her forehead hitting against the floor.

"I'M VERY SORRY ABOUT WHAT ANDRE DID TO YOUR SON! IT WAS MY FAULT THAT ANDRE ALMOST KILLED MATSURI! I'M THE ONE WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANDRE NOT GETTING THE TREATMENT! I'LL TAKE ANY PUNISHMENT THAT YOU THINK IS GOOD BUT PLEASE DON'T EXPEL ANDRE AND DON'T PUNISH MY FRIENDS!"

"Mitsuko-chan…" Kate said with a somber tone.

Kiruyu scratched the back of the head. "Well, you are right on that. If I recall, you are responsible for Andre's mindset. But you're not the only one who should be taking that burden…"

She looked towards Kate and Mitsuko. The orange hair girl held a sympathetic expression biting down on her own lips. Mitsuko felt tears filling up behind her eyelids, her whole body starting shivering in fear.

Kate walks up towards where Risa was and looks up at the group. "Please don't punish any of my friends. It was my fault. I was the one who left Risa with the job of taming and training Andre in time for the sports festival. Mari and Takamoto-sensei came to me about Andre's condition…but I didn't listen. So please, I will take the punishment. But for Risa, Mitsuko and Andre. Please don't punish them."

The teachers looked over at Usano who held a pondering thought. "Yes. You have almost endangered the entire school and also endangered one of our students. As for punishment…I could expel you…"

Mitsuko bit her lip with her hands clenched together. Scared for Kate's future. Risa didn't bother looking up from where she sat. But her body was trembling in fear. Small whimpers could be heard from her.

"However…my daughter did plead for you."

"H-Huh?"

"You mean…Mari?" Matsuri asked as he looked at Mari.

"Yes." She raised her hand looking at Ayame. "Before you say anything, please let me explain. Yes, Kate has caused quite the mess during the whole incident. And have almost killed one of my members. However, Matsuri did survive, thankly enough. Kate can be…well, childish."

Kate's eyes twitched at the mention of that.

"But she's not all bad. She can be honorable in her own rights."

"I understand your argument, but my son almost died because of her actions." Kenchiro said.

"Yeah! And I still can't forgive for almost getting my brother killed!"

"I…I'm sorry." Kate said with a somber expression.

Mari walked over to the eldest sister and settled her hand on her shoulders. "I understand your anger, but please hear me out."

Ayame growled under her breath before looking towards her little brother who held a pleading look. "Ugh…fine."

Mari nodded. "Listen, I don't wish for Kate to be expelled. If anything, how about having her still attend the school. Besides…you could say that this is my fault as well."

"Madam President…" Meiko asked.

"Kate was after me from the start. Beating me was her end goal. Granted I will admit. Before the sports festival, she did manage to get the best of me. I will admire her for that. I just wish she would have stopped there and fought me honestly instead of bringing Andre into this. But to me, I can tell she had no intentions of taking things too far. Matsuri's near death experience and the chaos amongst the school was not her goal at all. I know this is much of me, but could we perhaps think twice before considering expelling her."

Matsuri's family looked amongst each other. While her argument was valid for the most part, the idea of their son almost getting killed was not sitting well with them. Ayame was almost looking like she was ready to burst, but her father kept a soft touch on her shoulders. To make sure she was good.

Miyuki was on the same boat. She didn't want any more potential danger going towards Matsuri. It was scary enough that he was almost killed.

"I can see the looks on your guys' faces. I know how you feel about this. But trust me. Kate will not cause anymore trouble…isn't that right, Kate?"

Kate flinched under her stare. She looked the other way with a faint blush. "O-Of course I won't. What type of idiot would try something like that twice!?"

"Just making sure. I never know what will happen if you're left unchecked."

Kate twitched under her eye. "I'm not a child."

"That could be argued." Meiko said with a blunt tone.

"U-Um…excuse me." Miyuki brought the attention back. "So…what of Andre then…"

"Yes about that." Kate spoke up. "According to Risa, Andre has reverted back to normal. But to be safe, I was thinking if we can keep him in solitary confinement. I believe it would be best to keep him at bay. Would that be sufficient for you all?"

"I mean…I'm still not comfortable with Andre being at this school. Especially considering if he was targeting Matsuri." Kenchiro said with an unsure look.

"How about this then." Takamoto turned to speak. "We get him some help. You know, someone to look after him and get him some help."

"I'll do it!" Risa shot up on her two legs. Surprised, they look at her with a stunned look. Risa held a faint blush. "I-I…I'll watch over him. T-This time for real!"

"Hmm…how do I know you're not just gonna use Andre again?" Etsuko looked at her with a curious look.

"I say we can trust her." Kate was quick to defend her. "Risa-chan is the most reliable person I have met. Plus, even though their days together were small and brief, she has been training Andre from the start and knows some things or two about the boy."

"Is that so?" Kiruyu said.

"Now that I think about it, I did see you and Andre training around the yard a couple of times." Ringo said with pondering thoughts.

Risa held a faint blush as she scratched her cheeks. "I…I wouldn't say I know everything about him…but I'm trying. So please, to make it up for almost endangering the school, let me help Andre. And besides…it's the least I can do to help Andre…"

"...I think that is the most plausible choice." Ringo got the spotlight. "I mean, from what I heard, Andre does possess a rather…um…unusal kink to himself that I'm pretty sure no one would like to come near him. So having someone who is familiar with him should be a good idea."

"Kink? What do you mean?" Akari asked.

The teachers all gave each other a grimace look before looking at the parent. "I-It's…best if you don't know."

"But yes, I agree with Ringo-sensei. Having Risa in charge of Andre and making sure he's in check should be good. Unless you're not planning on using him again for any more schemes that is.." Suzumei looked at the girls with a glare.

"O-Of course not! We never would dare to repeat the same mistake!" Kate said. "Please trust Risa-chan."

The parents and Miyuki were still uncertain of how to answer that. Their son literally just came back from the dead. Andre was still a threat in their eyes. Granted it seems that they have things under control with the teachers and the USC now in tow. Plus, Matsuri friends look reliable to keep an eye out for the boy.

"I…I don't know how I feel…" Ayame said with a sigh.

Matsuri looked towards Ayame. "Ayame, please. I know you're worried, but I'm fine."

"Seriously, you really want to say that to me now after you were almost killed by that fat bastard?" Ayame said with a glare.

"That's right! How can we stay calm after that!?" Ritsu made a fuss under Akari arms.

"Matsuri dear, we almost lost you there. If you were killed there…I…I wouldn't know…" Akari tried her best not to think about the worst possible scenario.

Kenchiro settled his hand on his wife's shoulders before he looked towards Matsuri. "Matsuri…since the day you entered this school. We thought that you would stay safe and sound. Your mind would be at ease. Away from Atsuhiko after what happened. But the USC tried to send you to prison. To you getting injured on multiple accounts…and the latest incident…were greatly worried for you."

"Matsuri…" Miyuki spoke up next. "Your family are just worried for your safety. And so am I. After that punch…I just…I just don't want to lose you. You're one of my daughter's precious friends. And I come to see you as part of the family as well…"

"I…you don't need to go that far. I mean, I'm nothing that special."

"You're my daughter's shooting star. So you must be pretty precious to her as Megumi is as well."

Megumi blinked when she mentioned 'shooting star'. Her mind races back to the charm that was given to Matsuri; it was basically the shape and design of a shooting star.

Matsuri held a small smile before shaking his head. "I…I do love you guys, you know that right. But I'm alright…really I am. I mean, I'm glad I'm not all dead and all. And that punch did make my body pretty sore…for the most part at least. But…I'm gonna be real here but…Andre punch is something I can handle."

Everyone in the room became baffled by what he meant. Except for Megumi who knew what he was going to be referring to…

"I've been beaten, tossed around and even sometimes humiliated…and well…" Matsuri looked down towards the ground with an unsure look.

Akari and Kenchiro became increasingly worried of what the boy was hesitating about. But the look on his face didn't help make things better. Same with Ayame and Ritsu who were unsure of why their brother was not speaking.

Usano looked at the boy with a curious look, unsure of what he was going to say or even do. The rest of the teachers were unsure as well, each of them with similar expressions like the chairman. Takamoto however, had an idea of what the boy was gonna show next.

Matsuri took a deep breath and walked towards the middle of the room to make sure everyone would have a good look.

"Just to let you know…what I'm about to show you…Mari and the others were not responsible to this…"

"S-Sweetie…"

Matsuri grabbed his shirt and lifted it over his body, pulling the back shirt up. Revealing to everyone the horrid scar on his back. He could hear a few muffled gasps and screams from each of their mouths, but he didn't dare look at them. Just letting them look at his back with their reactions.

Matsuri's friends, even Megumi, looked at the boy's back with horrid expressions. Etsuko had her mouth covered with her eyes trembling in fear. Tsubaki's eyes were wide, leaving her mouth partly open. Yukina almost fainted on the spot but was held onto Megumi who looked the other way. Trying her best not to look at the scar.

Kenchiro looked at the mark with a shocked and disgusted expression. While holding onto his wife who held a horrid look. Ritsu was hugging Akari's legs and soft whimpers could be heard from her. But Ayame…she was more than anything. Her hand clenched into a fist, her grip was so hard that blood oozed from her hand.

Everyone else held similar reactions to one another. The ASC were shocked and locked in a cold sweat. Unable to speak or even make a peep about what they are looking at. Mitsuko, having the worst, was just on the verge of almost throwing up just looking at the burnt mark on his back with the kanji character 'Dog'. It was disgusting.

The USC, at least some of them, held similar looks. Mari and Hana could not peel away from what they were looking at. It was just…too painful and cruel. So many things they wanted to say. Meiko bit her lip with a furrowed brow, looking in the other direction.

"My…god!" Usano broke the silence.

"M-Matsuri…w-what…h-how…" Etsuko was trying to word it out, but couldn't.

"I know…it's…something you weren't expecting to see…"

He felt a soft touch on his back. He looked over his shoulders to see his mother looking at his back with a painful expression. She looked in her son's eyes with somber. "Who…who did this…"

"It was Hayakki, wasn't it."

They all turned to Megumi who was holding a horrified Yukina. Giving the boy a glare.

Matsuri nodded.

A loud 'thud' echoed through the room! They turn to see Ayame slamming her fist on Usano's desks.

"Where…" Ayame brought out a venomous tone.

"Ayame…"

She faced Matsuri with tears in her eyes. "WHERE THE HELL IS SHE!?"

Matsuri flinched from her tone. "She's…"

"She's the new council president of Atsuhiko Academy." Megumi revealed the info before Matsuri could.

In a instant, Ayame was just about to leave the room before-

"HALT!" Usano yelled. Surprising everyone in the room. Ayame stops at the door. "I know what you are going to do! And I must refrain you from carrying it…OUT!"

"...are you fucking kidding me?" Ayame said, her venomous tone not leaving. "THAT BITCH GOT AWAY WITH A MURDER, SHE TORTURED MY LITTLE BROTHER AND SHE'S NOW THE COUNCIL PRESIDENT OF THAT SCHOOL! HOW THE HELL YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN!?"

"She's right." Akari spoke with a tearful voice. "My son…my poor baby…has been bullied by that monster and you expect us to just let her get away with this…I WON'T ALLOW IT!"

"No! You don't understand! Make no misinterpretation! Your anger is justifiable and not in the wrongs! However, there is a valid reason why I stopped you from making the worst mistake in your…life!"

"I hate to admit it…but my father is right." Mari said.

"Huh? How so?" Hana said with a questionable gaze.

"Because…there's more to Hayakki than meets the eye."

By this point, Ayame walked up to Mari's face. Her anger showed no resistance. "You better have a good damn reason why I shouldn't drive over to that school and beat the living hell out of her!"

Mari sighed to herself. "You see…my father revealed some…rather disturbing news about Hayakki…she is connected to the infamous yakuza group here in our very town. They are known as…The Sleeping Wolves."

Just like that, the whole room fell into a deep silence. Aside from the select few who already knew about this; Mari, Kate and Takamoto. Everyone else held a terrified look on their faces. Aside from Ritsu who was rather curious on who or what the sleeping wolves even were to begin with.

"W-What…what did you say…" Miyuki said with a staggered breath.

"Yes…it is what I said. Hayakki…is the daughter of the leader of the sleeping wolves…he goes by the name…immortal wolf."

"...is…is this some kind of joke!?" Ayame said with an angry glow.

"H-Hold on! Aren't they like an infamous group or something!? You're telling me that bitch is part of a yakuza!" Hana said.

"How were you aware of this…" Kiruyu asked the chairman.

"He learned it from me…" Takamoto said, grabbing the spotlight.

"H-Huh? Takamoto-sensei…" Ringo asked with a scared expression.

"How do you know about them?" Suzumei asked.

Takamoto sighed before speaking again. "I once worked with him."

"EH!?" All the teachers screamed.

"YOU WERE ONCE WITH THE YAKUZA!?"

"Well, I was more of their nurse to be honest. You see, their boss, the immortal wolf, always takes his men out and does some rather dangerous jobs. Me, being a nurse, my job is to make sure that our patients are good and healthy. I won't go into details, but yeah. I tend to their wounds whenever they come back from their dangerous job. I didn't like my life for that long, so I quit my job and that's how I ended up as a nurse here."

Kiruyu and the other teachers were not expecting to hear this from the woman. They just thought of her as any other person. But to hear that she is from a yakuza group…was rather surprising.

"I…I wasn't expecting to hear that from you, Takamoto-sensei…" Meiko said.

"Trust me, there isn't much you know about me. But yeah, the immortal wolf's real name is Tatsuya Nekumi."

"Oh yes, I believe I heard about him. Isn't he the one in charge of Sakura Production…" Kenchiro asked.

"I believe so." Usano answered as he looked back at Ayame. "As you heard, Tatsuya is a well-known criminal in the crime world. He's nothing to laugh at and earn his name through his reputation alone."

"You're kidding me…" Ayame asked.

"S-So…Hayakki is connected to the yakuza in one way or another…" Matsuri asked with a scared look.

"Yes. And not only that. But he financially owns the school."

"HUH!? THE FUCK!? NOW YOUR TELLING ME THAT BASTARD OWNS THE SCHOOL!?" Ayame yelled.

Kenchiro closes Ritsu's ears. "Ayame. Languages."

"Dad…" Ritsu pouted at her father trying to close her ears. Not like this was the first time she heard languages from Ayame's mouth.

"That's possibly how Miss Deva Queen was able to be appointed council president at the school…honestly that shouldn't surprise at the slightest." Megumi said as she ran her hand over her face.

"That's just…they didn't even bother looking into his background…" Meiko said with an angered look.

"Even if they did. It would've gone over their heads." Mari said. "Tatsuya used his background as a coverup so that they wouldn't suspect anything. And him owning the school is possible to add to that."

"Yeah…he possibly must have owned the school to protect his daughter as well…typical." Kate said with an annoyed expression.

"So then…in other words there's no way to get to Hayakki without her being protected by her daddy…ugh. This is so frustrating." Ayame said as she aggressively scratched her head.

"For the time being, we must lay low." Usano said as he sat back down on his chair. "We cannot bring attention to Matsuri's whereabouts. It is best to not engage in any conflict with the sleeping wolves that could endanger…him."

"Oh dear…" Miyuki spoke with her finger near her lips. "I…I may have told the two news investigators about where Matsuri is…I'm sorry."

"Hmm…then we can't rule out the possibility that Hayakki would come here and find Matsuri."

"If we're talking about Hayakki coming here, there's something you should know about her. She made two new friends with her." Megumi said. "Their names are Izumi and Homura. Izumi is the cold and calculating one. While Homura…well she's the blood thirsty one of the three. So if you think of going near Hayakki, be mindful, because those two are dangerous."

Matsuri was listening to the whole situation. This could be bad in multiple ways. Hayakki could possibly know about his location. He didn't want to know about what she would do if she found him. He could only imagine that he could kill him, possibly for blabbing about Yoshimiya's death…

Matsuri took a deep breath before looking up. "I…I'm not scared."

"Huh?"

Everyone in the room looks at the boy.

Matsuri pulls his shirt back down and looks at the group. "I'm not scared of her anymore. I…If she wants to face me then I won't run away. I'll face her myself."

"Are you sure about that?" Megumi asked. "You don't have to force yourself."

"I'm not forcing anything. Hayakki is my problem and my problem alone. She's been torturing me since my first year in Atsuhiko…but I'm not gonna let her have her ways anymore. Sure, I'm scared. In fact I'm terrified, but I won't just sit there."

"Matsuri…if you're scared you can rely on us." Etsuko said with a concerned expression.

"She's right." Yukina spoke up next. "Not just us, but all of us here will be able to protect you. Hayakki isn't someone who should be taken lightly."

Matsuri looks down at his feet before looking up. "I appreciate the help…but Hayakki is my problem to deal with…this time, I want to protect you guys."

They all blinked at the boy's words. It was certainly something they weren't expecting to hear from him. But it certainly was welcomed. Matsuri certainly has come far from hiding in his own shadow and came out to be a strong boy.

His parents and sisters however had a different reaction. To know that Matsuri's bully was connected to a yakuza group and a dangerous one no doubt. It made them worry even more about the boy.

"It's okay!" Etsuko popped up in front of them. Giving them a bright smile. "We'll keep Matsuri safe!"

"Oh…um…thank you sweetie but…"

"It's okay Ms. Hitoyoshi." Mari said as she approached them. "Etsuko, Tsubaki, Yukina and Megumi are all reliable friends. Sure, Etsuko can be a bit…much. But trust me when I say this…you can trust them."

Akari glanced over at Kenchiro who gave a pondering thought. He then looks towards Akari. "Well…personally I still don't know how I feel…but I think the decision should go to Matsuri."

Till then, all faces were now on Matsuri. The boy felt a little embarrassed, but nonetheless he took a deep good breath before speaking. "I…I trust them. Sure, this school can be a little insane. But believe me…they can be trusted."

Kenchiro held a small smile. "Well then…looks like you made up your mind pretty quick."

"Well…I kind of grew accustomed to this school."

"Or do you not want to leave your girlfriend~?" Ayame asked with a grin.

Matsuri's face flushed red as he looked the other way. "I really wish our relationship was kept secretive…"

Meiko coughed into her fist before looking the other way with a blush. "Ayame…could you please not make jokes about our relationships."

Ritsu giggled. "So you don't disagree."

Meiko growled under her breath with her face flushed red.

Kate looked between Matsuri and Meiko with a baffled expression. "Seriously, it's so surprising seeing Meiko and Matsuri. I mean, I would've imagined someone as strong as Meiko…but someone like Matsuri was able to sway her heart…color me impressed."

Usano stood up from the seat and walked over to Kenchiro and Akari. "If it's any better, we can give you updates on the situation. Don't worry…your son will be safe in our hands."

Kenchiro smiled. "Yes…that would be better. How does it sound to you, Akari?"

"Hmm…I'm still a little conflicted…" She looked over at her son who was interacting with his friends. She smiled at her boy. "But I suppose he will be in good hands."

"I think so as well." Miyuki said with a smile. "And besides, it looks like Matsuri has made many good friends."

"...I suppose so…well. Alright, I'll trust my son with you guys. But please, keep us in contact."

"We will." Usano nodded followed by the other teachers.

-Back Entrance-

Matsuri's family and Miyuki were walking towards their own vehicle at the back of the school where they parked. Matsuri and his friends were walking them out to the yard. The sun sets over the horizon, creating a dusk twilight over the sky.

"Really glad that you guys came over…just…sorry you had to be caught up in that whole mess." Matsuri said with a nervous chuckle.

"Goodness, I never thought that your school would be this insane…you sure you'll be alright at this school?" Miyuki asked the boy with a concerned look.

"I'll be fine. Besides, like I said, I've gotten used to the school…so…I don't want to leave it."

Akari had a worried look on her face. Despite not having to worry about her son, she was still concerned. "I'm not sure about this…"

"Mom…"

"Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that you're alive but…I don't know. I felt like we went a little too easy on them. I don't like how that Andre boy is still at this school…"

"I don't like it either. Who knows what will happen if we're not looking…" Kenchiro said with a concerned expression.

Yukina cleared her throat to gain their attention. "I can promise you all that your son is in good hands. I, Tsubaki and Megumi shall make sure of it."

"Heeey," Yukina turned to see Etsuko with a glare. "What about me?"

"What about you?"

The small girl puffed her cheeks. "I CAN BE JUST AS USEFUL AS THE NEXT PERSON!"

"Oh. Is that so? I haven't noticed."

Etsuko jumped on top of Yukina's shoulders and started to pull on her cheeks. "FACE YOUR PUNISHMENT!"

"YOU LITTLE TWERP! GET OFF OF ME!"

As the two were fighting over each other. Tsubaki sighed to herself and looked at the family. "Just ignore them. We'll make sure that your son is in good hands."

"Well, that is reassuring…but," Akari glanced the other way before speaking. "My worries don't relate to Andre…my concern is Hayakki."

Everyone blinked. They glanced at each other with worried expressions. Matsuri could understand their fear of the girl, especially knowing that she's been part of the yakuza for so long. No one could blame her.

Megumi looked at the parents. "We won't let anything happen to him."

"Yeah, that bitch would have to think twice before coming to us." Tsubaki said as she punched her fist together."

Ritsu held a worried look before walking up towards Tsubaki, tugging on her skirt to get her attention. "You promise that my big brother won't get hurt."

Tsubaki held a small smile before she kneeled down and ruffled her hair. "Don't worry, your brother is gonna be fine. You'll still see him with that weak ass smile of his."

"That wasn't necessary…" Matsuri said with a blank look.

Ritsu's smile grew brighter knowing that her brother will be safe in good hands with the friends he made.

Etsuko, being done with her punishing Yukina, rested her hand on Ritsu with a smile. "It will be alright. Matsuri won't get hurt again from that bitch."

"Etsuko, languages." Yukina said with a stern glare.

Ritsu's eyes glanced at her feet with a hard pondering thought. "If you see that meanie, give her a good wet willy if you see her bullying my brother again!"

"I'll give more than a wet willy! I'll give her a good old kick in the ass!"

"You two are something else…" Tsubaki remarked.

Matsuri sighed to himself before gaining the attention. "If anything comes up…I'll let you guys know, okay?"

Ayame had doubts. Crossing her arms under her bust. "You sure you'll call us…"

"Of course I will. I'm not gonna hide anything from you guys ever again."

"Matsuri…you literally kept your back scar a secret from us. How do you think I felt about that?" Ayame said with a hint of betrayal.

"...sorry. I just…I didn't want to worry you guys with my problems…"

Akari sighed to herself. "Matsuri. We're your family. Of course we'll be worried about you. I just…I just don't want you to make any rash decisions."

"Matsuri…please don't do anything rash." Kenchiro said to the boy. "Remember, we're your family. If you have trouble, please come to us. If you can't handle it anymore, then come to us. If anything comes your way and can't do it…please come to us."

"And also come to us as well." Megumi said as she settled her hand on his shoulders. "We're your friends. So come to us as well. Not only us, but the USC as well."

Matsuri blinked at their words. His family and friends were still there for him in his dire needs. He thought that he would cause them much stress if he were to dump these info on them. He didn't want to bother them…but now he felt guilty for keeping them in the dark.

He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry…I just didn't want to…I just wanted to do this myself. I didn't want to feel useless."

He felt a warm embrace wrapped around him. Akari was hugging her son. "Matsuri…my poor sweet boy. You suffered long enough. Please don't keep beating yourself up like this."

"Mom…"

"We're here for you son. Please remember that." Kenchiro said with a stern stare.

"That's right." Ayame pointed at her brother. "You better let us know the moment you hear that Hayakki is causing you any trouble. Cause if you don't, I'm gonna give you a good punch to the face."

Matsuri flinched. "T-That won't be necessary! I-I'll call!"

"You better." Ayame said with a glare.

As Akari moved away from Matsuri, the boy felt his legs being hugged. He looks down to see Ritsu with her watering puppy eyes. "Please big brother…I don't want anything bad happening to you."

Matsuri smiled as he kneeled down and gave Ritsu a pet on the head. "I'll let you guys know…that's a promise."

Ritsu gave a satisfied nod before releasing him and running towards Ayame. Miyuki smiled at the boy. It was nice that he got such a supporting family. But the fact that he had to hide the scar on his back away from his friends and family for so long. It was clear the boy had some clear self-esteem issues. Now that he knows that his friends and family are there for him, he will have to come to them for help. At least she hopes.

"Well, keep in touch with us, okay…" Kenchiro said.

"I will…this time for sure."

"I'll keep your words to that." Ayame said with a glare.

"Okay. I better go. I must say, this school is…something. But it is interesting." Miyuki said with a smile.

"Well…interesting is the right word for this school…but glad that you came, Miss Miyuki. Again sorry for dragging you into this…"

Miyuki smiled at the boy. "Oh, it's alright. It was actually pretty fun. Scary, but fun."

"It was cool how Meiko stopped that punch!" Ritsu said with a bright smile.

"That was pretty cool!" Ayame said with a smirk.

"Okay girls, time to go. Keep us in touch, okay sweetie." Akari said with a hopeful look. Hoping her son will keep in touch.

Matsuri smiled. "I will mom…thank you for coming guys."

Kenchiro looks towards his friends. "Keep an eye on our son, will ya. He's a good lad."

Etsuko, Tsubaki, Yukina and Megumi glanced at each other, giving each other a nod before looking at the man. They were determined to keep Matsuri safe and sound. Regardless of the dangers.

"Don't worry about anything, Matsuri's dad! We'll keep him safe!" Etsuko said with a bright smile and an added thumbs up.

Kenchiro nodded with a smile before looking towards his wife. "They'll keep us in touch, honey. He'll be fine."

Akari nodded before coming to her son and giving him one last hug. Kenchiro joined the hug alongside Ayame, Ritsu and Miyuki. Matsuri was surrounded by warm embrace with his family and Miyuki giving him the hug.

Etsuko gushed at the sight. Her eyes sparkling at the sight of the family bonding. "Aww~! We should have a group hug for ourselves!"

The three girls shuddered at the thought.

"U-Um…I think we're good." Tsubaki said.

"What!? Come on! Let's make a group hug now!"

"I'm not joining in on any hug." Megumi said with a blank look.

"Yeah, I don't do group hugs." Yukina said as she looked the other way.

Etsuko pouted with her cheeks puffed. Not taking no for an answer, she immediately jumped towards Tsubaki, pushing her towards Megumi, much to the girl's surprise. The girls piled drive onto Yukina who released a scream. The ninja girl was bearing the weight of the three girls who were on top of her.

"OH FOR THE LOVE OF-GET OFF OF ME!" Yukina yelled.

"Of course she would…" Megumi grunted with a glare.

"GET OFF OF ME ETSUKO!"

"YAY~! GROUP HUG!"

-Prison Block- [Solitary Confinement]

Once again within the prison room, the four boys were checking up on their friend who had calmed down during his rampage at the sports festival.

"A-Are you sure you're doing okay, Andre?" Joe asked.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine…for the 10th time already." Andre said with a calm voice but a little annoyed.

"Hey, don't get upset if we keep asking. You completely lost it at the cavalry battle." Kiyoshi said with a concerned tone.

"Indeed. You have truly gone on a complete riot that you nearly destroyed the school if you were to continue." Gakuto said.

"Not only that, you would've killed Matsuri right on the spot." Shingo said.

Andre blinked at that. He titled his head, trying to ponder on what Shingo had just said. "...I…I don't remember."

"HUH!?" All four of them said in unison.

"You're kidding me! You don't remember a thing!" Kiyoshi asked with a baffled expression.

"...nope. Nothing. I mean, I can recall a few events here and there…but they're such a blur I can't remember what really happened."

"YOU'RE KIDDING ME! YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU CAN'T REMEMBER A DAMN THING THOSE PAST FEW DAYS! YOU ASSAULTING THE VICE PRESIDENT!? YOU ATTACKING US! MATSURI! GOING ON A RAMPAGE! NOTHING!?" Shingo yelled, almost going on a rant.

"C-Calm down, Shingo…" Joe said.

Andre had both his hands up in the air in defense. "I'm sorry Shingo, but I really can't remember those times. Everything just became a blur…I mean…I do recall myself doing some awful stuff to the Vice President, then there was Risa…but after that. I can't quite recall anything else."

"You're kidding me…" Shingo said as he let out a sigh before dropping his butt on the ground. "Geez, don't worry about it too much. Don't want you to strain yourself."

"Overall, you caused lots of trouble for us and the exact main reason why you are in prison…or solitary confinement as your's truly would say."

Andre hummed a little at the thought. It was true, he couldn't quite recall those times when he went insane with power. He could recall some events here and there, but it was such a blur he couldn't even describe how they went. From what his friends described, he must have caused lots of trouble that he would possibly need to do some real work to regain everyone's trust.

Andre released a sigh. "I must have caused so much trouble…"

"No shit you did. I nearly thought we lost ya." Shingo said.

"So…what's going to happen now…" Andre asked.

The boys glanced at each other before looking at the boy.

"The councils are discussing with the chairman and the teachers on what to do with you…Matsuri's folks seemed really pissed." Kiyoshi said.

"I would imagine so…" Andre said with a somber tone.

"But we did *cough* spoke with the chairman and asked him if you can stay at this school." Joe said.

"H-Huh? B-But why? After everything I did, I thought you guys would've abandoned me."

Gakuto gave a firm glare. "Nay. Do not mistake us for some shallow comrades. We are your brother-in-arms. Despite the trouble you have caused, we never thought of abandoning you."

"That's right. And besides, we still have our dream that we must accomplish." Kiyoshi said with a smile.

Andre blinked at that. It then hit him. He remembered. How could he forget so easily? "That's right…our dream."

As if they all thought at the sametime. An image of all of the girls in their swimwear suits. Their white t-shirt was worn over on top. Being drenched with water, causing their shirts to be seen through.

The Wet T-Shirt Contest!

Their conversation comes to an end when they hear the door opening. They turned to see who was coming through, their initial thoughts were that it was either of the USC. But all those were tossed out the window when they spotted Risa at the door instead…

"R-Risa-dono!?" Gakuto became alerted.

"Calm down, I'm not here to cause trouble." Risa said with an annoyed tone.

"How the hell do you expect us to trust you!? You're the one who was training and brainwashing Andre!" Shingo said with a glare. Not letting Risa near the large boy.

"I know you don't trust me, but please believe me when I say this…I'm not going to do anything bad to him. Not anymore. All I just wish to do is to help Andre. That was the decision that we came up with."

"And you didn't bother *cough* going for an expert. Why is it you?"

Risa released an annoyed groan. "Because we figured it would be easier to have someone who knows and been with Andre for the longest. And not someone new and doesn't know about Andre's…unique personality."

The boys glanced at each other before looking at Andre.

"She does have a point."

"So, it would be better than having someone new. It would take time for them to get used to Andre. And it would be less of a hassle if I were to do it."

"Wait a minute. If that's the case, why not one of us…" Kiyoshi asked.

"...you really think we trust you guys with the simplest task." Risa asked with a blank stare.

"No need to be so blunt…" Kiyoshi said feeling a little offended by the comment.

"Guys…" Andre brought their attention. "It's fine…"

"Huh!? But Andre-"

"It's okay Joe." Andre said with a soft smile. "I trust her. And I promise you I won't go on a rampage."

"You sure, Andre-dono?" Gakuto asked with concern.

"I'm sure…"

The boys looked amongst each other with concerned looks. But nonetheless, they agreed either way. Even if they don't like it, they knew that this was the best possible choice. But that would mean they would have to keep an eye on Risa to make sure she doesn't do anything unnecessary.

"Very well then…we shall trust you, Risa-dono."

Risa nodded with a soft sigh. "Now then, if you don't mind, I wish to speak with Andre, alone."

"Huh? Why?"

"JUST GO!" Risa yells at them.

"YES MA'AM!"

The boys quickly left the room. Leaving the two alone to themselves.

"Um…Risa…" Andre asked.

Risa looked towards the boy, walking towards him. She stopped in front of him and kneeled down. Bowing her head to the floor. "I'm very sorry."

"H-Huh?"

"I'm sorry for causing so much trouble. I knew about your condition but my main goal was to use you for the cavalry battle. But I didn't do anything to help. I just made things worse! I'm not expecting you to accept my apology, but please, let me truly help you!"

Complete silence between the two. Andre just stared at the girl whose head still contacted the floor.

"Um…Risa…I don't know what you're talking about…"

"...huh?"

"I mean, I already talked about this with the others. I uh…don't remember what had happened those past days. I mean, I can recall some events but as for exactly remembering…I uh…don't remember."

"...you're kidding me?" Risa said as she looked up at the boy.

"I-I'm not kidding…I really can't recall…"

"You…ugh…can't believe you." Risa said as she ran her hand through her hair. "Well…at least you're back to normal…"

"Yeah…it was like I woke up from a long sleep. I…I recall from brief memories here and there but…I can't remember from there…"

"It doesn't matter. You're back to normal and that's a good sign. Thank god. But even if you don't remember, I wish to make up for all that time. I hope I'll be of your service…"

Andre had a faint blush on his cheeks. "I-uh…thank you. But…Risa, why are you doing this for me?"

"...because…this is my way of paying back for not helping you…plus…I did ruin your chance with Meiko. So, let me help you."

-Council Office-

Mari let out a sigh as she sat back against the couch in the room. She rested the back of her head against the headrest of the couch.

"Finally…it's all over." Mari said with a sigh of relief.

Kate, who was sitting across the room from Mari, cleared her throat, gaining the crow's mistress' attention.

"Of course. I wouldn't say it's all over. I need to make some closure here and there. Starting with you."

"Hmph. Just be glad we were able to avoid the worst possible outcome." Kate said.

"You mean you almost get expelled or possibly worse getting into unmentionable trouble."

"Oh hush you. In fact, you should be thanking me. If my friends and I didn't help you back with Andre, the whole school would've collapsed."

"True. But who was the one who started the trouble?" Mari asked with a smirk.

Kate cheeks flushed red as she looks the other way. "Oh, be quiet. So why did you call me here? Surely it isn't you trying to make fun of me."

"Of course not. I'm nothing like you," Mari ignored the annoyed groan from the girl. "Aside from the jokes, I call you here because I wish to speak with you."

Kate blinked at that. "Oh…and what would that be…"

"First and foremost, I wish to thank you for helping us with Andre."

"Y-You…wish to thank me…" Kate asked with a baffled expression.

"Yes. I appreciate the help that you contributed to tame Andre before things got any worse."

Kate blinked before her glance was towards her hands that were resting on her knees. "I…I don't think I should be thanked for anything. I…I almost destroyed the school and I almost killed Matsuri."

"True…but in the end. Matsuri managed to survive and the school was saved. I mean, of course from the students getting injured. But you did help out. For that, I'm truly grateful." Mari said with a smile.

Kate cheeks flushed deep red. She felt her heart pounding against her chest before she calmed down. "I-I mean, of course! It is the job of the student council to make sure that the students are safe from harm!"

"Even though you caused trouble." Mari remarked.

Kate growled under breath. "Must you always make a witty comment! I'm trying to be sympathetic!"

"Alright, alright. But I'm truly grateful for your help."

Kate huffed. "Anyways, I did what I could do for the students. You're welcome by the way."

Mari giggled a little. "Yes, yes."

Kate fiddled with her fingers before speaking. "S-So…why do you really want me here? Surely it isn't just to thank me now is it?"

"Oh? And what makes you think that?"

"Oh please, Mari. None of your dogs and Matsuri are here. So what do you want?"

"...I would like to give you back the authority of the student council."

Kate's body went rigid. Her eyes remained unmovable. She didn't say anything but stared at the crow mistress across from her.

"Huh? Um…I'm sorry. W-What?"

"You heard me. I would like to give back the authority and power of the student council."

"HOLD ON A MINUTE!" Kate slammed on the table. "ARE YOU MAKING FUN OF ME!? YOU ARE MOCKING ME, AREN'T YOU!?"

"Of course not. I don't see why you're being so fussed about this."

"I'm being 'fussy', because you won that match, you dolt! Or have you completely forgotten! Or are you just mocking me!"

Mari didn't say anything as she just blankly stared at the girl. Giving out a sigh. "Kate. I am not making fun of you. Nor have I forgotten about the match. I am being whole heartedly honest. And besides, if memory serves me right, Andre got up before I could finish it."

"Yes. And Andre almost killed Matsuri. I was going to end the match there until he let loose and went on a rampage." Kate said as she sat back down on the couch. "So why give the council to me?"

"If you recall from our previous discussion. I have found you to be a hard worker." She said with a smile. "You worked hard to get to where you're at. You accomplished the impossible and overthrown me and the USC. You truly do work hard."

Kate blinked at the girl. She glanced the other way with a huff. "Oh for goodness sake, sometimes I don't know if you're just trying to cheer me up or something, but I suppose I should take the offer. But if you ask me, I feel that this whole thing feels miffed. That battle between us was only a fluke because of Andre and my shortcomings. So there's no way you can just conclude as my victor."

"That is true. But I have been doing some thinking for a while now. Perhaps the school doesn't necessarily need the USC. We've only got through popularity. Plus, we are unofficial, so our existence shouldn't overshadow the real student council."

Kate just looked at the girl with a baffled expression. She wanted to call her out, but it was almost as if she was being…sincerely honest.

"Besides, I believe you're more than capable enough to handle it."

Kate blinked before speaking. "I mean…it's not like the students will be happy."

"Then build their trust. If you're worried about how the students will view you, then allow me and the others to help."

"..." Kate remained silent before speaking. "And the USC…"

"I'm sorry."

"What about the USC? Are they gonna still continue to exist or will they disband?"

"We will continue to exist in this school. Granted we won't be as active or receive such special privilege. All the power and authority will go to the ASC."

Kate didn't say anything. She continues to stare at her. As if she was looking for an answer. Or pondering for some thoughts to say out loud.

She soon got up from the seat. Standing over her for a moment.

"Kate…"

"Very well then…I shall accept your offer." She said before she struck a pose. Bringing her hand to her chest and standing tall. "I, Kate Takenomiya, shall accept being the student council president of Hachimitsu Academy! And first order of business, Mari Kurihara!"

She pointed at the surprised crow mistress.

"I wish to hire you and the USC as secret service for the student council!"

"...h-huh? I'm sorry, could you repeat that…"

"That's right, you heard me! I wish to hire you and the USC as guards for the school. You will be working under my orders!"

Mari couldn't help but to blink outlandishly at the girl's words. It was just…out of nowhere. She was just going to offer the council authority to her, she wasn't expecting her to come back around and hire the USC and have them work for the student council. She's sure that Meiko and Hana wouldn't like it, considering what has happened. But this could be a good opportunity for them. Not only that…

"How about…how about you try making peace with her?"

Mari smiled at Matsuri's past words. "This could be interesting…"

"Huh?"

"Nothing." Mari got up from the couch and looked at Kate before she extended her hand. "I accept your offer. I hope we get along and make a better future for Hachimitsu Academy."

"Likewise." Kate said as she grabbed Mari's hand. "Don't think you'll be getting any special treatment from me. Plus, I don't wish to hear any complaints."

Mari couldn't help but to release a chuckle. "Same here."

The two sealed the deal of their future for both the council.

.

And that's a wrap! And that's the conclusion for the Sports Festival arc and bridges towards the next story arc! Both Mari and Kate seal the deal, both the USC and the ASC will be working together in an unexpected way possible! Andre is back to normal, but his road to redeeming himself will be long and hard. What future awaits for the Hachimitsu Academy? Only time will tell as we turn the page towards the next chapter. Next story arc will be the Tanabata arc…

First and foremost, I am sorry for the long wait. Got caught up on a lot of things. College works, video games and so on and so forth. But I am back with the last chapter for the sports festival.

Also, I'm not sure what is going on with fanfic as of now. I haven't been getting any email notifications of reviews, PMs or any notifications at all. This has been a problem for many fanfic authors on the site. They say that the glitch has been fixed, but honestly, I have seen it get any better. I think fanfic may be seeing its final days. Not leaving fanfic yet, but just in case something happens, my alternative account is still up. A03 (archive of our own). My username and story are all the same so you'll be able to find it there.

Not much to say with this chapter since it's pretty much a breather chapter. And the next story arc will be a breather as well. Aside from a few important story elements to take note in this chapter. For example, Hayakki and Tatsuya. These two will remain in the background before they make their big appearance and cause trouble. I can't wait for you guys to witness the chaos that will soon unfold. But that won't happen until after the Tanabata arc.

Then there is the USC and ASC teaming up. This had actually been in the planning phase for so long. It does lead to more entertaining interactions between the two groups and it's something that the canon story never explored. You have two councils, so why not do something fun with them. Have them team up and maintain order around the school. So glad we were finally able to get up to this point.

And I want to apologize for the lack of Matsuri and Meiko scenes in this chapter, but don't worry, we'll get more during the next story arc. We will especially get some more character spotlight with the others as well.

Anyways, thank you so much for your patience. But I must apologize again since I will be going on a short hiatus before I come back to the story. As usual, this will be a good opportunity for anyone to catch up with the story before we continue. I know some of you are waiting for the special moment between Matsuri and Meiko, but please, be a little more patient. I just want to avoid being burnt out from this story.

Thank you for reading. Leave review for feedback. Both Hitoyoshi and the Prison School and Maiden Heart: Crusader are available on both Fanfiction and A03 (Archive of our Own). Stay safe! And I will see you guys in the next chapter!
