Kitty felt her soul return to her body the moment Death embraced her.

It was okay though, because the moment she saw him approach, she couldn't help but do the same. With his arms surrounding her neck and her cheek resting against the shinigami's, it didn't take long for her to feel his touch against her back and head. He felt lucky to be able to feel her life and calm to hear her purr.

What was most important was that... knowing that she was happy with him.

The bicolor cat's sapphire eyes remained closed in that affection that she now shared and gave to Death, a sweet smile curved on her lips. For the first time, her storm-gray and cloud-white fur felt so soft against his, which was as black as night and as white as snow.

"Ow, Caramia..." the cat hummed under her breath, seeming not to want to let go.

Without warning, her lips began to caress the cheek and jaw of the huge and ferocious wolf, placing quick kisses that, even without lipstick, remained painted on him. In just seconds, she had begun to give her his affection, and she could hear sobbing.

"Shhh, shhh..." she murmured to him with a maternal tone. "My darling, don't cry anymore..."

"Kitty... m-my K-kitty..." Death whispered with tender innocence, his voice breaking like glass between his soft cries. Although Kitty only stayed asleep for a few minutes, Death had missed her very much, and he still felt guilty for having hurt the one he loved so much.

"Shhh, it's okay. You're going to be fine. No one can hurt you now," she continued purring, her sideways eyes witnessing how the wolf's tail began to move, the clearest proof that he was happy.

"Forgive me, please, forgive me..." he begged defeatedly, soaking the cat's shoulder with his tears.

"It's okay. It doesn't matter anymore," Kitty whispered peacefully, uniting her forehead with Death's in pure sweetness, closing her eyes. "I'm here... you are too. That's the only thing that matters."

Their faces separated after a few seconds, but they were still held in each other's arms. Kitty could see her reflection in the red of his eyes, and Death could see his in the beautiful blue of Kitty's eyes. Both then turned to look to the side, finding the small dog who remained sitting, looking at them both with a smile.

"Beautiful doggy..." he called him, the two-color feline with a virginal look.

"Kitty!" The chihuahua soon jumped onto the bed and ran towards her, uniting his forehead with hers and receiving caresses on his head. "I knew you were going to wake up. I felt it in my tummy!"

"Oh, really?" Kitty asked, amused.

"Yeah! Although Death didn't believe me at first when I told him that you would be fine," he pointed with his ears to the largest dog.

"I don't want to talk about that anymore," Death commented with a very soft voice, averting his gaze.

"My friend, all this time you were talking about how ridiculous true love was to you, and you could never realize that you fell into the prophecy that you dictated. You knew her and you loved her..." Perrito pointed out, happily. "...heh, ironic right? You being the one who takes lives." He returned to see Kitty. "You were the one who saved Kitty's..."

At the end of those words spoken by the therapy dog, the shinigami softened his gaze towards the bicolor feline that he adored so much and lowered his ears, feeling very sorry. Kitty, on the other hand, brought her paw to Perrito's head to give him another caress.

"You're right, Perrito. Death saved me from himself. He is the evil of this world," Kitty said calmly to the chihuahua and immediately returned to see the hooded wolf. "...the gentlest and sweetest evil I have ever known..."

Death, upon hearing her say that, could not help but raise his ears and form a small smile on his muzzle, especially when he noticed that the feline's feeling was also mutual. She forgave him.

The reunion and reconciliation was wonderful. Now no one could hurt them. However, when the light of that love was just beginning to shine, strange voices peeked out of the entrance door of the lair, tongues that shouted curiosity and strangeness. The shinigami and the feline thief then turned to see with their sense of danger activated.

Through that door that gave entrance, that group of friends led by the Spanish feline was seen again. Everyone was upset, since they had listened to the sudden joy that that room contained. When the tabby's emerald eyes began to search, his fine sword fell to the floor just as his heart and his eyes were completely open.

"It can't be..." Goldi covered her mouth, almost falling to the ground in surprise, but being caught by her father at the same time, although he was also in a state of shock.

"It's a miracle..." Mama Bear murmured, feeling a huge lump in her throat.

"Oh Go…" Baby Bear gasped stupefied.

"K-ki...ki...Kitty..." Puss murmured in a low voice, feeling like he was about to collapse, trying to control the heart attack that he felt was coming. "...Kitty..."

"Hello, Puss..." said the aforementioned with a very calm and happy voice. "...I missed you a lot..."

"KITTY!"

Death barely had time to move away from the bed with Perrito. Kitty barely reacted in horror as that family of bears and her lover threw themselves on top of her, immediately crushing her like a berry in a pie.

"THANK SWEET JESUS, MY LOVE!" Puss exclaimed between his cries, holding her close to him.

"Guys..." Kitty gasped.

"I can't believe it, you're okay!" Goldilocks said, taking her and immediately giving her a few hugs.

"Oh mate, you scared the hell out of us, we thought we lost you!" Mama Bear said dramatically while shaking the cat as if she was made of rag.

"Even though everything was all a lie, you are part of our family. It's a miracle that you're still alive!" Papa Bear grabbed her by her cheeks with his two paws and lifted her to immediately press her against his chest like a pillow.

The poor Mexican pressed her eyes as she felt like she was being suffocated. Meanwhile, Death and Perrito walked away from the group, watching everything with laughter.

"I was scared. If you died, who was going to eat my borriage?" Baby came closer, crying like the baby he was.

"And what about me, morron?" asked the offended blonde.

"Shut it, sister..."

"Ya pues carajo! I just came back to life like a minute ago, give me a break!" Kitty exclaimed hysterically, pushing the patch away. "I don't know about you, but there is something called 'space'. I could use some of it!"

They all looked at each other in surprise when the sapphire-eyed cat said that, and then they turned away from her, their faces remaining embarrassed. However, Puss began to play with his paws sadly and went to his dear lover.

"Forgive me, Señorita mia," Puss then spoke, with a soft sweetness touching his voice. "It's just that...I can't help but feel happy to see you here with me again. I was scared to believe that I would lose you forever."

Kitty sighed calmly and got close to him with a sweet smile, her paw soon went to his cheek. Puss couldn't help but do the same and thus join their foreheads and follow with hugging each other with needs, both purring.

Suddenly, that smile that was on Death's face was leaving and his gaze was also falling, feeling a sharp pain clinging to where mortals have their hearts.

"You don't know how much I've missed you," Puss told her in a soft tone of voice. "But don't worry anymore... we will be us again, just as we could've been in Santa Coloma and just as we were in the dark forest."

"The feeling is mutual, Puss" Kitty responded in the same way, her soft paws caressing his back... but in that hug, her half-closed eyes soon spotted the shinigami who was silently witnessing that beautiful union. Suddenly, sadness arose in her blue eyes.

Death averted his gaze after hearing that exchange of words, and without thinking, he walked further away from the scene, ready to finally leave. Perrito didn't take long to worry when he saw him and kept up with him, asking him a thousand and one questions, but he didn't get a response. The wolf was starting to feel very bad. Did he really believe that Kitty could love him? He knew it and still, he tried to give himself false hope. It was impossible... it was against the order of things. An immortal like him could never share love with a living cat.

Puss was still hypnotized by the affection he now shared with Kitty. He didn't want to let her go and lose her again. He was still recovering from the strong shock he had when he thought he had lost her, which is why his heart was crushed at the moment he felt the bicolor cat move away and get off the bed to follow that monster that once tried to take her life.

"Death, wait!" Kitty called him with anguish, stretching her paw towards him. He returned to see her, but the words didn't come out of her mouth, which was only like a stab for the wolf.

"Live your life, Kitty Softpaws... live it well," the shinigami responded with great sadness in his voice, even when he faked a smile. "I will see you until death."

Kitty gasped in pain and felt her eyes suddenly drown in tears. She saw him turn around again, Perrito stayed in his place, and immediately saw Kitty sadly. Only a small doggy whimper came out of him, but when he was called by his owner, he had no choice but to lower his head and follow the Wolf. The cat's white-tinted chest began to rise and fall desperately. Her mind screamed at her to go for him, but she immediately remembered everything she had left in the past, things that unfortunately came to her present.

She returned to see her company, the bear family and the blonde were very confused and scared, since they knew that Kitty had not magically returned to them... Kitty then, with a terrible melancholy, fixed her eyes on Puss in Boots. The Spaniard just looked at his lover with a defeated face, almost collapsing into the definition of depressed. He wasn't stupid, he knew what happened. Kitty's words in the afternoon were very clear and so were Death's actions. Maybe he wasn't ready to face reality yet.

Kitty then returned to see the one she once loved and approached him. She took him by his paws, he stared at the floor since he did not have enough strength or courage to look into her eyes and witness firsthand how his happiness collapsed in a matter of words. Puss could feel his little legs trembling and the hesitation of her voice made him feel a knot in his stomach... fearing the worst.

"P-puss... I..." Kitty muttered, still with her head down and with tears rolling down her cheeks. "We... I know that you... when the curse fell on me, w-we were supposed to end our relationship so that I could fall in love with you one more time and... and I know that you were hoping to save me yourself so that we could be... together again... but..." She bit her lower lip, her throat was burning badly because of the air that had gotten stuck in her. "...A-all this time I was with Death, a-all that time he spent being my shadow, my companion, and my best friend... my guardian angel, I couldn't help but love him..."

Gato stayed there in silence, with a fallen face full of sadness. The thief had not yet said it, but his heart was already breaking into pieces.

"Puss... I... I'm sorry but... I...," Kitty sobbed, struggling to speak. "...I…I..."

"No, Kitty... you don't have to apologize... that wolf is your true love and I can't do anything to take that away from you. I know I was selfish in the past, but I can't be selfish with you anymore... it's enough for me that you are happy, even without 'me...'" Puss interrupted, defeated. He quickly cupped her cheek and gave her a gentle caress. He felt calm in his heart when he saw her react, surprised and immediately smiling "... you had told me that even if we broke up, you would let me be your friend who would always be there for you, because that's how much you care about me..." Puss took a breath, letting the tears run down his face. "I hope that it can still be that way..."

Kitty hugged him tightly, clinging as much as she could to her feline companion.

"That's how it will always be, Puss..." she whispered in the hug. "Thank you..."

"Death, Death, wait for me! What happened?" Perrito asked, hot on the wolf's heels. "Don't ignore me, please answer."

"There is nothing I need to answer anymore, Dog" said the shinigami, feeling the moonlight bathe him in that dark and empty street.

"But didn't you see it? You were the one who saved Kitty!" the chihuahua exclaimed.

"Yes… she will be better now with her friends and her boyfriend. No one can hurt her again, not even me..." Death murmured under his breath, agony welling up in every word. "She will be there, being loved by everyone while I will be here... without her..."

"But it was you..." the chihuahua was interrupted by the wolf again.

"... I thank you for making me open my eyes, pup... but we have to accept it. I don't deserve her, she should be with a living person whose heart doesn't stop beating," Death expressed, clenching his fists. "True love doesn't exist... not for me..."

"Death..." the little therapy dog muttered, lowering his ears.

"GUARDIAN ANGEL!"

Damn, that damn voice that made him so vulnerable the moment it crashed into his ears.

The white wolf stopped so abruptly that he almost fell to the ground. The little dog, on the other hand, began to wag his tail and put on a smile from ear to ear. His crimson eyes widened, his gaze blank, and his fur stood on end like a cat. Slowly, he turned around... and found her, his Kitty... his sweet Kitty.

And after that reunion, only the words remained, the words that now and always closed their future.

"I remember that night we met in the dark forest, after Puss beated you, none of us made a wish... so it stayed there. If you want, we can travel together again and make that wish, were you can have a life so we can live together... would you like to do it?"

"Kitty... being part of your life, is all I can wish for..."

The forest had never been so alive as it was that afternoon, which in just a matter of minutes was going to turn into night. Glass lanterns with fairies inside provided extra light to the beautiful environment, while beautiful decorations adorned the branches, bushes, and trees. The space was simply perfect for all the guests, who moved their figures to the rhythm of the dance, led by a barefoot Goldilocks in white, shaking a tambourine tied with a pink cloth in her hands. She was followed by the blonde orphan, the cat Spaniard, who danced gracefully with a rose in his mouth, moving his legs and heels in rhythm with the tambourine.

It seemed like a tribal party, where the only music was the soft voice of that little Chihuahua dog, puss in boots, and the blonde with her tambourine. Everything was perfect for the couple, who spun like a hurricane on the grass, moving their arms in coordinated passion as they felt themselves in that dance.

Bending down to see her better, Death held his beloved feline with both hands, one on her hip and the other carefully taking her paw, making her spin like a music box dancer. He didn't take his eyes off her, and the smile wouldn't go away. Kitty, on the other hand, let her beloved little wolf guide her. Only he could hold her like that and make her feel so good.

The bicolor cat moved her high-heeled boots against the wolf's path like a threat, as if she were about to step on him. But between each of her movements, Death avoided her and picked up the pace. Kitty shook her shoulders and opened her arms, and Death held her, lifting her into the air. Both busts attached, legs intertwining, palms resting on each other's fur, she against him and he against her. They were like the end of a fairytale.

Kitty stood in the presence of that immortal being with a grand and beautiful wedding dress, he and she wearing a crown of flowers, gestures made by Perrito and Mama Bear for that celebration. At first, the Shinigami refused to wear it, since it seemed ridiculous to him. Of all the things in mortal culture, those types of crowns were insufferable to him.

"Ah!" Death let out a small scream, because on a bad step he slipped and his face was about to touch the ground, but he immediately felt how a small force attracted him, shook him to his feet and saved him. First surprised, then in love… Well, he finds himself in Kitty's arms, who held him firmly above hiswaist. The couple exchanged flirtatious glances.

"You just keep singing, Perrito~..." Kitty sang, without taking her eyes off of her beloved.

"Aaaaw, but how cute you both mates look" said Goldilocks, looking at the couple. "How nice to see you so happy Kitty, after all those years that I and my family sacrificed to take care of you and ensure your safety."

Goldi only witnessed how Death immediately turned towards her and glared at her after that fallacy of hers, indicating that she better shut her mouth.

"Oh... forget it…" I laughed nervously as she shook her head.

"take care of her? The first night you made her sleep with a cloth as a sheet" Perrito said between laughs.

"And you didn't even realize when she went out to rob peasants and they almost beat her to death..." the wolf pointed out.

"And not when I ran away from the house and none of you found out, it was only on the night of Mamma's birthday that you realized and that was because Pappa Bear, luckily, didn't eat my slice of cake..." Kitty pointed out, amused.

"Okey, we were not the guardians par excellence but we tried…"Goldi replied.

"Seriously, weren't any of you suspicious that I left plates of soup served at the kitchen window? " Kitty questioned again "What did you think, that it was for the birds?"

"Damn, how would I know that you were feeding those two?" the blonde reproached with some hysteria.

"Don't try, rubia." Cat patted his leg, shaking his head with amusement.

"Hey, Puss, do you have it?" Kitty asked the Spanish feline.

"Uh" he blinked immediately "A-ah, yes, yes, of course Kitty, here".

Puss immediately approached her companion and from one of his boots he took out a sharp, small dagger with a feline handle and immediately handed it to her with affection. The cat didn't hesitate to take it and then get closer so she could hug him eagerly.

"Thank you, Puss" Kitty murmured close to her ear, moving away from the hug and looking at her beloved Death. "Come on, big guy."

"ah-ah! Hey, Death, wait!"

Before he could keep up with Kitty, the black-hooded wolf stopped and over his shoulder, his enormous and fulminating red eyes looked at the orange cat he always considered his eternal rival. He just made contact with the coldness and calmness of that wolf on his face. Puss gasped with some fear and took a breath, nervously playing with his paws while he babbled, having no idea how he could continue talking. But Death beat him to it, knowing what was in the mind of the feline with the hat and boots.

"I didn't choose to fall in love with her, Puss in Boots," he said to Puss, noticing how the feline immediately stared at him.

"And I can't blame you for that, because I know you saw the same thing in her that I did... hey, who would have thought that now I would be here envying Death..." Puss admitted somewhat dejectedly, not taking long to look down again. In his eyes, it was seen the pain of realizing that his last life would not be with her after all, even though that feline had held her heart for so many years.

Death frowned.

"...you don't have to hide it," the shinigami indicated. Puss sighed.

"Can you blame me?" asked the emerald-eyed feline. "It's not easy for me to trust someone who tried to curse my lover without caring about the damage he could have done."

Death looked at him coldly, not a word coming out of his mouth. Puss let out a small laugh.

"The surprises of destiny. I was able to live my last life, but… at what cost?"

"...letting me be part of her life..." Death sighed with a loving voice.

"Yes..." Puss hugged himself again. "...and it hurts a lot, but I've already learned that I can't force her to love me... so I can't do anything else apart from maybe..." he looked back at his rival. "...ask you to send my love to your new love, treat her better, please..."

The hooded wolf relaxed his gaze again, showing a sly smile. They would found themselves fighting once more sometime... but in their due time.

"So…hasta la muerte?" the Spaniard questioned.

"Hasta la muerte, Puss in Boots." And so, the shinigami made a quick bow to immediately go to the Sweet Cat that they both loved.

The wolf left with the bicolor cat, who, having him in front of her, went to take one of his hands and left his dagger between them, making him close his fist. After that, she kissed the back of it. The shinigami smiled lovingly and followed her to that big and old tree, which was older than any living thing present there. And so Death embedded that philosophical metal inside the trunk of the tree and slowly began to cut, leaving marks that formed a heart. Once finished, he gave the dagger to the feline between her paw and also gave her a kiss on this one. The sapphire-eyed cat then stuck it inside the newly carved heart and wrote two letters, a K and an M joined by one plus symbol.

Puss just stayed in his place, watching them love each other, and before long, melancholy and sadness took over him, because despite everything, he still loved Kitty. However, the blonde soon went to him to support him with a small hug and caress on his back, to which he responded with a smile.

"Mate, as much as it's hard for all of us to believe it... I can assure you that she will be fine," Goldi commented relaxedly. "Come on, it's already late, and besides, Mamma and Pappa told me that I should return home before nightfall... and we'll also make fish and chips for dinner, if you want to join."

"It seems perfect to me, Miss Goldi," replied Puss softly, and immediately began walking with her.

"And can I join you?" Unexpectedly, the little chihuahua found himself between the human and the cat, wearing a huge smile, ready for new adventures.

"Dog?" Goldilocks blinked next to Puss, surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm ready!" said the little pup excitedly, walking alongside the group.

"Ready for what?" asked the Spaniard, interested in his words.

"Well... to go in search of new adventures with my new friends," the little dog responded without removing his smile. "I already said goodbye to Death and Kitty, so I'm not leaving anything behind. From now on, if you want, it will be just you and me, Puss. I will be your friend and your therapy dog. We will be 'Team Friendship'!"

Leaving aside that ridiculous name proposed by the chihuahua, both Goldilocks and Puss exchanged dumbfounded glances.

"But... aren't you going to stay with your friend?" Puss asked, surprised.

Perrito looked down to the ground and thought about it for a while.

"Nah, it's time for a new chapter in my life," he said. "He told me that I have enough courage to live it, and I promised him. He doesn't need me anymore. Also," Perrito stopped to turn around. "He is no longer alone..."

And so, the other two returned to see him next to him.

Death held Kitty's soft paws, tenderly feeling how they both fit into each other's. With his free hand, he cupped her cheek, feeling it fall against her warm touch. He met her eyes, leaned in, and left a sincere and passionate kiss on her lips, feeling how she reciprocated the same type of love. After a few seconds, they lovingly joined their foreheads.

The three friends exchanged looks of total joy…

Even Puss admitted that they were a cute couple.

"I love you, and I will love you until death..."

"you love playing with my name, huh?"

"But you still like it..."

"You don't tell lies, beautiful..."

It was so difficult for the wolf to hide how he felt when he was with her. His tail gave him away so much, he could be hugging her one moment and the next and his tail would begin to move uncontrollably, it was involuntary, he couldn't control it and it caused him a lot of shame.

But now under the night that imprisons them and the moon that bathed them with its light, seeing him move his white tail was so cute.

"My sweet Kitty…" Death whispered with total serenity and tenderness, his crimson eyes were fixed on the figure of his beloved wife, whom he did not stop caressing.

His palms decorated her body with love and his claws ran over her body, very slowly and delicately, because the idea of hurting her didn't fit in his mind, he could hear her purr, doing it for him and only for him.

"I love that you call me that, my guardian angel..." the two-color cat responded in a flirtatious way, resting her paw on the chest of the enormous white wolf, which made him smile.

His figure was free of his black tunic, exposing to the cat's eyes that toned and strong body that she liked so much, from his big arms to his hairy chest, her cat eyes did not stop admiring and her lips and paws didn't avoid showing his affection with kisses that marked his shoulders, his handsome face and of course his chest.

"But love, you know I'm not, right?" Death asked calmly without leaving what he was doing to her "The one who lies with you now is Death, without metaphor or rhetoric"

"Are you sure about that?" Kitty asked, arching a mischievous eyebrow. "Because I remember that the last time you said you were Death was when it was guarding me in the forest from those who could harm me."

"That wasn't from the past, it's still goin on" With his big white hand, he pressed the cat's paw "And it will be now and always".

Kitty sighed as she watched him kiss her soft paw.

"I have seen so many lives run by, many, too many, infinite lives over and over again, some wasted, some taken advantage of and few where I have had to get involved. But none has captivated me like yours has." Death said.

"Hmm" Kitty laughed lowly "and now, a mortal loves you to death"

"and Death itself lives to love you…" he also responds between laughs "...how did you do it? How could you make me, being a murderer of souls, know what it is to be human? How did you make me fall in love?"

"Well, you already had those feelings, Lobo. You just needed that little push to give them life yourself" Kitty answered smiling.

"A push?" asked the canine with crimson eyes "That is a very weak word to refer to everything you caused in me, my princess."

With careful movements, Death climbed over Kitty, turning his slender arms into a prison for her and causing her purring to be slower and more serene, both pairs of eyes impregnated with the hypnotic color of her irises, with her soft paws she took him by his snout and brought him closer so they could kiss in an affable close of eyes, breaths touching and bodies rubbing with burning passion.

"Leave me stained with your lipstick, my love..." that wolf murmured tenderly.

mark me only as you know how to do it

Delighting in that union between their lips and in the vibration that came from the body of the feline. Death lifted her into his arms, clinging to him tighter, holding her body in his claws, fearing he would lose her again. Not wanting to commit another selfish action that could hurt her, he could feel her caressing his figure, tracing paths and breaking barriers with fragility.

"Oh, Kitty..." Death whispered, feeling how her soft paws caressed his chest.

Between kisses they ate eachother, with soft sounds and short breaths. They expressed themselves…it was a perfect night to procreate.

When he separated from her lips, he let her rest between the soft sheets and caressed her cheek with one of his fingers, hypnotized by the sapphire-colored orbs that the thief wore, he carefully opened the cat's legs and settled between them and He stood up with a sigh, ashamed, he took his two hands towards his pants and began to remove them. He was consumed by embarrassment when he felt Kitty's eyes on him as he undressed, but he also felt relief when he freed his agitated legs from those clothes that caused him unbearable pain, now naked and with his limbwide awake, he took those pants and left them lost somewhere in the darkness.

In her place and with nothing else to hide, he walked her hands along the cat's thighs, Death smiling and then slid his body over Kitty's to kiss her softly, dominating her once again, while their breaths were undone. . Suddenly Death's hand slid to meet his beloved's paw and catch it, it fascinated him so much that it fit in his palm.

He approached her ear, without letting go.

"Are you ready, my love?" Death whispered, feeling very eager to start now.

"Please..." Kitty responded tenderly against the white canine's ear.

That's where their bodies collided.

"Oh..." Kitty whispered lovingly, clinging as much as she could to that white Wolf who was now dancing against her body.

The beautiful voice of the cat resonated in his fine ear, something that moved his entire spine, moved by what she called him, so he responded with another attack and then another and followed by another and so on, in a coordinated manner. Swings that he had nothing but love and worship for her, for Kitty Softpaws.

"Ow, Kitty..." Death called with a broken voice, processing the beautiful sensation of immersing himself in the heat of his feline lover, while continuing to rub against her and stop sighing and panting. He was so ashamed that she heard him, to show how helpless Kitty had him in that meeting full of love and burning passion that they shared, but it was impossible for him...he couldn't stop loving her.

Kitty stayed there, feeling how he loved her and how their hips danced naked against each other, her mind only focused on how he continually kept moving, little by little he reacted faster with her, she closed her eyes and let him continue, The world around them disappeared, now they both burned like a candle, giving their heart and soul. In that darkness, attached to each other in their shelter, she knew that the wolf also deserved a little attention, so even hugging him, she began to soak his face with kisses, which also invaded his shoulders, neck, chin, jaw and herpaws, were dedicated to receiving sugar behind his ears. He knew Kitty would die to have him.

Death panted with her, the folds of his skin shivered every time he moved and fell more for the cat and her charms "I love you, I love you very much…".

"Ah, Wolfie..." Kitty whispered, purring again.

"Oh, K-kitty" he panted.

"ah…i-it feels good…"

"Like this?" He moved deliciously again, just for her.

"Oh, oh... y-yes l-like that, honey..." Kitty asked with an angelic voice.

"hmmm, my princess…"

Giving each other affection, letting go of beautiful sounds, feeling how their abdomens rubbed against each other and their bodies burned in each other's warmth while the doubt ran through their minds: "Could love stop feeling so good?"...that was what happened in his mind every time they made love. Whenever the two of them could find time for themselves, they could present how they melted into each other, longing for their physical forms to be as close as their souls.

Little by little those sweet sounds faded and he searched for her with great need before breaking down in front of her. Kitty felt a precious sweetness when he perfumed her with his warm cum.

He carefully pulled away from her and let his strong body fall next to her, both enjoying the not at all uncomfortable silence that there was now at the end of their act of love, there was only their breathing trying to coordinate again, he returned to see her and couldn't avoid attracting her and let her rest on his chest, moved to see that she was purring again.

"Damn it, I love you..." the shinigami murmured.

"I love you very much too, wolf...until death," Kitty whispered lovingly, still exhausted from that adventure.

Two years later

In the coziest corner of that home, a bicolor cat was calm between those four walls dyed in soft colors of pink and pastel blue, very welcomed among the pillows, stuffed animals, and sponge sheets that were on the floor, her body resting in the delicate and childish atmosphere of the room, allowing the two small red-eyed and white-painted kittens that were found resting on her sides. With a calm and sweet voice, the mother cooed to her two daughters, caressing their heads with her soft paws.

"Eternally asleep in her chambers, that monster known as Death, saw the sleeping Cat with her eyes closed and cried on her knees, regretting having hurt her with that curse. He would never see her again, something that he previously saw as insignificant but was now the most important thing," the bicolor cat narrated, taking on a mystical and mysterious narrator's voice, captivating her two babies who were watching attentively.

Luna, a cute white cat with gray paws and curious little blue eyes, whose gray menguara-shaped spot gave her her name. Dabria, another cute gray cat whose paws were white, just like Luna..

Kitty stroked the two little ones' heads, feeling how the little ones purred and clung closer to her, which made her smile.

"And then, he said goodbye to her with a kiss on her forehead, and when he took out his weapons, ready to take her soul, the cat woke up. 'The true love of that wolf had freed her from her curse,'" she said sweetly, feeling a beautiful warmth as she saw both of them smiling excitedly. "That little dog was right after all."

"Yes, he was, but your stubborn father didn't trust words and prophecies created by mortals."

Crossing through the frame of that door, the white hooded wolf approached the three felines, holding a very small bottle full of milk in his hand. But he was not alone... firmly clinging to his leg with his little claws, a very small cat meowed desperately, almost whining; the little one tried to climb until he reached that bottle that his father was holding, but it was impossible.

Kitty couldn't help but let out a small laugh when she noticed this; she gave her husband space to lie down next to them between the sheets and pillows. It didn't take long for her and the two kittens to snuggle up next to him. Once there, the little kitten jumped desperately into his father's arms, looking for that bottle.

"Now, now, Eris, calm down, daddy will feed you," Kitty told him between small laughs, listening to how he was still meowing.

"Come here," Death brought him that bottle, and to his surprise, the little one caught it almost immediately and snuggled into his arms, beginning to feast desperately. Death lovingly caressed his head, looking at him softly. "Hehe... You were really hungry, little guy? Your tummy is already fat from so much milk you drink."

Eris, the only boy and the last to be born among the three, smaller and more fragile. His fur was bicolor and, to the surprise of his parents, his eyes were crimson, something that brought tears of joy to Death the night he arrived in this world.

It was so surreal for him; his job was to take lives, and it turned out that he himself created new ones with his sweet Kitty, as a fruit of their love.

"And then, The Sleeping Cat returned with her friends and had to go to the prince with Boots to tell him that from now on they would be very special friends. She made the decision to stay with the one she loved the most. Thus, The Sleeping Cat and Death were united in marriage and have been united ever since," Kitty expressed softly to her three cubs.

"And he stayed in her life, happily ever after," Death finished with a soft sigh. "That's the one about the Sleeping Cat, right?"

"That's right," Kitty responded with a loving smile.

"I love that story," the shinigami hummed.

"It's better than Sleeping Beauty, though" Kitty admitted amusedly and immediately looked at her little ones. "When I met your father, he tried to kill my boyfriend..."

"It was love at first sight," he admitted amused. "And I was only looking to hurt your mother, wanting to get revenge on him for not valuing his life, until she managed to open my eyes and give me the opportunity to know what love is. Love, it's not simple human fallacies as I believed them."

"Your father still cuts off heads when the time comes, but he is definitely the kindest and gentlest monster I have ever met, even though he is a terrifying evil wolf, and he showed me that it is not necessary to have a life like us to show that he has a big heart."

The Wolf was able to avoid it by kissing his wife's head and snuggling in a hug with his three feline children.

"...dying is something natural, but I see in all of you the courage to live," he admitted.

But night came, and that peculiar family had fallen asleep in the triplets' room. Luna was attached to Kitty, whose figure rested, being caressed by her husband, while Dabria clung to her father's arm, and Eris rested curled up on his chest. Death did not usually sleep, he only did so when he was with his beloved wife. It was gratifying for him to do it with those he loved most.

However, the shinigami's ears perked up, and his crimson eyes opened. He had woken up at the slightest sound of suffering. He immediately got up, careful not to wake up his son, and began to sniff and listen to the environment... it seemed that a few lives were lost. He had new prey waiting.

Sighing lowly, he looked at Eris, who was asleep, clinging to his warmth. With a smile, he hugged him carefully and left a small kiss on his head. Then, he moved to his daughters, giving each of them a kiss, and finally to his wife, ending with a silent goodbye.

Leaving the room, he took his blades stuck on the wall, attached them to his pants, put on his hood, and prepared to leave. But that's where he heard a voice that stopped him.

It was Kitty.

"I have work to attend to, honey. I'm sorry," he said as he took off his hood.

"It's okay, it's your duty after all," Kitty responded softly, delicately taking one of his hands.

"I promise I'll be back before the sun rises," he assured her, smiling lovingly.

"And I will gladly wait for you, big guy... I love you," Kitty responded in the same way.

"And I love you more than life itself..."

Giving each other a tender kiss on the lips, the couple separated.

The feline thief watched him leave through the window, whistling his song before disappearing into the darkness.

And that was the story, not like the one the ink books told. Kitty loved and was loved by someone who was both hero and villain... someone who, in the end, proved to be anything but what he claimed to be.

Someone who was once called: Maleficent.
