AL-HAFIZ / AL-HAFEEZ / AL-HAFEEDH (The Preserver)
But if they turn away, [say, 'I have already conveyed that with which I was sent to you. My Lord will give succession to a people other than you, and you will not harm Him at all. Indeed my Lord is, over all things, Guardian.'"— (Qur'an 11:57)
"Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian."— (Qur'an 15:9)
"Allah, the Exalted, has said: 'Verily, Allah has recorded the good deeds and the evil deeds.' Then He clarified that: 'Whosoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, then Allah records it with Himself as a complete good deed; but if he intends it and does it, then Allah records it with Himself as from ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. But if he intends to do an evil deed and does not do it, then Allah records it with Himself as a complete good deed; but if he intends it and does it, then Allah records it down as one evil deed.'" (Sahih Muslim)
Understanding Allah as Al-Hafidh (The Guardian) provides believers with a sense of security, knowing that He preserves and protects all things. This belief fosters personal accountability and ethical conduct, as individuals recognize that their actions are recorded and will be accounted for. I will chose a hero that is one who seeks to uncover and understand the underlying structures that shape our experiences and perceptions. This hero is deeply analytical and driven by the desire to decode the systems and patterns that govern human behavior, language, and society. They view the world as a complex network of relationships and symbols, striving to reveal the hidden frameworks that bind everything together.
In their journey, my hero meticulously examines the connections between different elements of culture and communication. They believe that to understand any part of human experience, one must look at the larger system in which it exists. This hero is like a skilled architect, carefully dissecting texts, practices, and social norms to understand the foundational rules that create meaning. Their keen insights often reveal the interconnectedness of seemingly disparate phenomena, showcasing the elegance and coherence of the structures beneath the surface.
Ultimately, my hero champions the idea that true knowledge comes from recognizing and mapping the intricate systems that shape our reality. They inspire others to look beyond the obvious and to appreciate the deeper, often hidden, patterns that influence our thoughts and actions. By bringing these structures to light, my hero not only enriches our understanding of the world but also empowers us to navigate it with greater clarity and purpose. Through their intellectual rigor and dedication, they guide us towards a more profound comprehension of the human condition.
As a scientist, my work revolves around crafting intricate codes that embody the essence of logic and creativity. Each line I write becomes a bridge between human thought and machine action, where syntax and semantics dance in harmony. Whether I compile languages into binaries or watch as interpreters breathe life into each instruction, I witness the embodiment of ideas into tangible outcomes. The flow of control structures mirrors the ebb and flow of life's uncertainties, guiding programs through loops of repetition and branches of decision. My code isn't merely lines on a screen; it's a narrative of algorithms unraveling the mysteries of existence, handling errors with resilience akin to life's unpredictability. Ultimately, the output reflects not just data but the reflection of human understanding woven into the fabric of digital reality.
In the wake of severe flooding along the Kuchiki and Hanabira border, coupled with food scarcity leading to unrest among citizens, Byakuya Kuchiki, known for his stoic demeanor and strategic acumen, gathered with the Bakushin council in the austere meeting chambers of the Kuchiki Manor. The atmosphere was tense yet focused as they assessed the situation.
"Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'a ismihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim. Allahumma iftah lana abwaba rahmatik.("In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. O Allah, open for us the doors of Your mercy.")" Genrie, the head of the Bakushin led the opening dua for the meeting.
Silence fell the room, except for his voice reverberating. And for sometime, they all remained silent.
Byakuya, his voice measured and composed, addressed the council, "The recent flooding has disrupted our communities severely. Reports indicate a rise in discontent and shortages. We must address these issues swiftly. In sha Allah"
One of the council members, a seasoned advisor named Eskasho, spoke up, "Kuchiki-sama, the flooding has damaged infrastructure crucial for food distribution. Many villages are cut off from supplies."
Byakuya nodded stoicly after listening to their opinions quietly. " In sha Allah...First, we need accurate assessments of the damage and immediate needs. Vaijin, ensure our scouts gather detailed reports from each affected area."
Uragami, the compassionate healer, added, "Medical supplies are running low, Kuchiki-sama, and we're seeing cases of waterborne illnesses. Bismillah...We must prioritize sanitation and healthcare."
Byakuya turned to Likiko and Rima, his trusted military and security personnel, "Mokuzu, organize teams to secure safe drinking water and distribute what food we have left. Mobilize our resources efficiently."
They nodded in acknowledgment as the representative of the Mokuzu branch, "Understood, Kuchiki-sama. We'll coordinate with local leaders to streamline efforts and provide support where it's most needed."
The discussion continued as they strategized on prioritizing rescue operations, establishing temporary shelters, and restoring basic utilities. Byakuya emphasized maintaining order and security while ensuring fair distribution of resources to prevent further unrest.
"In sha Allah...We must act decisively but with caution," Byakuya remarked, his gaze steady. "Our actions now will determine how swiftly we recover from this crisis."
The Bakushin acknowledged their clan leader's decisive plan and end the meeting with a dua.
After the lunch break, Kaien's team gathered for their assignment to assist in evacuating and protecting citizens in the Hanabira territory of Rukongai, where hollow activity had been reported. Only the ranked shinigami were recommended to join the mission due to the dangerous nature of the task.
"Come with me, Rukia," Kaien suddenly announced upon seeing Rukia standing in the corner.
Rukia was taken aback but nodded silently, understanding the urgency of the situation. Emi Hanabira, one of the squad members, glanced at Rukia with irritation, sensing favoritism at play.
"Vice-captain Shiba, aren't ranked shinigamis only allowed in this mission ?" Emi spoke up, her tone edged with frustration.
Kaien turned to face Emi, his expression serious yet calm. "Rukia is familiar with the area better than we do. It's a strategic decision."
Emi hesitated, still unconvinced but respecting her vice-captain's authority. "Understood, lieutenant Shiba." She then looked at her in the corner of her eyes, surprised that the streetrat actually knew their territory better than her.
Rukia, feeling the weight of the responsibility placed on her, stepped forward. "I'll do my best to assist, Shiba-fukutaicho"
Kaien nodded approvingly. "That's all I ask, Rukia. Let's move out."
As they prepared to depart, the squad members exchanged concerned glances and murmured among themselves. Some understood Kaien's reasoning, acknowledging Rukia's skills, while others felt uneasy about the perceived preferential treatment. Nonetheless, they rallied together, focusing on their duty to protect the citizens and eliminate the hollow threat in the Hanabira territory.
Upon arriving at the area, Kaien took Rukia to survey the entire location and dispatched the team in groups of two people. Hours later, they surmised that the reports were false alarms, and there were no hollows in sight.
Rukia looked around at the devastation caused by the severe flooding and noticed the locals and authorities helping each other. A small smile formed on her lips, remembering how she and their 'family' used to work together during challenging times.
She then noticed that many of the people in the crowd helping the citizens were from the Kuchiki clan, which made her feel proud of being part of the clan.
Not long after, they were sent home after assisting the locals, but it was already midnight. Knowing that she had missed dinner with Byakuya, yet her heart felt strangely at ease.
Maybe... There's a reason she became a Kuchiki member...
A purpose... A meaning...
A direction... something she had never had before, as she just let life take her wherever, like a leaf floating on the river, carried by the water to the stream.
That night, Rukia fell asleep peacefully for the first time.
The next morning, Rukia decided once again to cook something for Byakuya for their breakfast, as a token of appreciation and gratitude. She finally decided to embrace her role as Byakuya's younger sister and as a Kuchiki.
But just as yesterday, Byakuya was nowhere to be found, which made her sad, realizing she had never had a decent interaction with her Niisama.
Just before Rukia left for work, she saw the old man who had offered adoption to her at the academy. Although she felt uneasy at the thought of questioning Byakuya's reasons for adopting her as his sister, she gathered the courage to ask.
"Why was I adopted into the Kuchiki clan?" She asked, trying to hide her nervousness, though she didn't understand why she felt that way. It's normal for people to adopt someone... Although it's rare for powerful clans to adopt adults, it's mainly a way of recruitment and acquiring talents to strengthen the clan.
But why her?...
Silence fell, making Rukia feel like her heartbeat was deafeningly loud.
"It's because..." The old man started solemnly. "You look exactly like Kuchiki-sama's late wife."
Rukia felt like a bomb had just exploded in her face.
Urahara looked up at the sky anxiously. The gates of 'hell' had actually appeared again after a long time. He then glanced at Rukia standing in front of the gate.
"Auzubillah... did she summon it?" he thought, worried. "No, it can't be... it's not the time yet."
Yoruichi, in her cat form, jumped onto Kisuke's head, remaining silent.
Urahara reminisced about the time Rukia was in the orphanage; several incidents had occurred that forced him to erase her memories on multiple occasions.
Before long, they watched as the group bid farewell to the bird.
to be continued...
