A/N: I felt like readership had gone down a little, I was so relieved comments seemed a bit up again last chapter! In two weeks we have the final chapter, which is of course a little sad. Fret not, I have other WIPs... just a few.

Ginny got dressed quickly after she showered. She pulled Harry closer.

"Are you ready to tell my parents?" she teased.

His eyes widened. "Oh, fuck. I hadn't thought about that."

She giggled and kissed his cheek. "We're going to tell mum that you're ready to officially join the family and all will be well." She winked. "That ought to do it."

The team gathered by the doors to exit at the same time.

"Ready?" Michael asked.

They nodded. Ginny tucked her hand in her pocket just so she'd be able to make it to her family before anyone noticed.

Michael pushed the doors open to the reception. Cameras immediately started clicking as they stepped out. Family, friends and fans were waiting for them and a new cheer went through the chattering people. Ginny fitted her hand into Harry's so they wouldn't be separated in the crowd.

They received many congratulatory cheers and pats on the back as they passed. Ginny smiled politely and thanked them. Ginny was glad to reach the VIP section. She could see Bill and Remus were in a deep conversation, and she was glad Remus was able to fit in with her family.

Ron immediately went off on an analysis of the highlights of the game, and Ginny smiled at Harry. They were biding their time to drop the bombshell of news.

It took nearly a half hour after they arrived that the topic of the game died down a little. It made sense—they did just win the World Cup—but she was so eager to share the news.

"I have to tell you something," Ginny said, trying to get attention from as many of her family members at once.

Her mother looked at her at once, but George and Fred were joking around with Livvy who was passing by. They only turned around when Livvy pointed in Ginny's direction.

"I know this may be very sudden, but Harry and I are getting married," she told them, her cheeks felt hot. "And we were thinking of just going ahead and marrying this Sunday."

He smiled at her.

"Married?" her mum repeated. "On Sunday?"

Ginny nodded eagerly. "It feels right, so why wait?" She squeezed Harry's hand. "It is time Harry joins the family officially."

"If you'll have me," Harry added at the end.

There was a lot of commotion. Her mum was trying to hug her and Harry at the same time, her dad looked teary-eyed… Fred, George and Bill were trying to look at her engagement ring. Ron was saying nothing at all. Percy and Charlie were talking to the waiter, asking for a very large order of champagne.

Ginny was glad she only drank one glass of champagne and was even more glad when they were all offered a rejuvenating potion before the press conference. The tiredness of the game eased a little bit and her muscles felt less crampy.

She tucked her engagement ring in a pocket before they took their place for the press conference, though she knew the news had already spread.

Someone asked Michael about the achievements of the team. Ginny listened as Michael answered, indicating the strengths of each player and how it helped them win.

"They've been tasked to only ask strictly Quidditch questions for the first half," Livvy whispered as she leaned in. "You wonder why."

"Question for Miss Weasley!" one reporter said. "You have had a very impressive Quidditch year, breaking records and very successful World Cup games. Do you have any ambitions for the coming season?"

She couldn't announce yet that she wanted to apply for Captain. She smiled at the reporter. "I think breaking a record like last year will likely not be feasible. I am excited for the new season, and I hope to keep expanding and growing my skill set as a Quidditch player."

Ginny relaxed back in her seat and for a while no questions were directed towards her. She sipped her water. Harry answered a question about going up against the Finnish Seeker.

"Any more questions?" the announcer asked.

And that seemed to have been the cue the reporters were waiting for, as a massive amount of hands shot up immediately.

Harry met her eyes for a moment. They had agreed to confirm it if they asked, so they could announce it on their own terms.

"Up front here. Ask your question."

"There are rumours about Potter and Weasley's engagement. Is it true and when did you get engaged?"

Harry cleared his throat. "It is true, we are engaged. I proposed earlier today after the game. Quidditch is such a significant part of our lives, it felt like the right moment. We are very thankful for all the support we have received from the fans regarding our relationship. We are very happy and excited to get married." He looked over at her and smiled. "And that is all we are willing to answer about our engagement at this time."

"Thank you. Anything else?" the announcer asked.

"Just one," someone asked. "We saw that having a couple that works well together can be beneficial to the team, but how did the rest of the team experience it?"

"I'll take that one," Michael quickly answered. "Both of them are incredibly skilled and gained their spot on the team in their own right. They are very professional and care about the game so their focus was exactly where it should be. It was a very positive experience. I think the biggest risk with couples is about them splitting up, but you have to trust them to be mature enough to deal with it off the pitch. In the case of Weasley and Potter, it wasn't much of a worry at all—sometimes you just know."

Ginny locked eyes with Harry again.

Dinner felt like another big party. All the players' families and friends were together in a room with the players, and there was plenty of food and drinks going around. She moved around to different tables to chat with everyone and settled back down with her own family for dessert.

Around 10 pm she excused herself and Harry to go upstairs, using the Quidditch game as an excuse and conveniently forgetting to mention the rejuvenating potion. Yes, she was a little tired, but in reality she could have easily remained for another two hours.

They quickly made it up to Ginny's room. She closed the door behind her and walked into the room, eyeing Harry. He pulled her into his arms.

"I think my heart may burst from happiness," Ginny told him. "This day cannot get any better."

Harry glanced towards the bed. "Really? Because I can think of a thing or two." His hands shifted up her back. "Hearts bursting sounds like a painful business."

She chuckled and guided his face closer to hers. "How's my fiancé?" she asked.

His smile widened. "Got to say that while we can, hm?"

"Yes." She kissed his lips. "Do you think we can pull it off by Sunday?"

He shrugged. "We could delay a little, but it'll be a fun challenge. And I like a challenge."

"You must," she teased, "if you're marrying me."

He shook his head and tickled her side while nuzzling her neck. "You're the funnest challenge of them all, love."

He picked her up and turned around to the bed, placing her on it. He got on the bed with her and kissed her slowly. Her hands pulled his body into hers. She craved to have him closer.

He settled against her and she began to unbutton his shirt, one button at a time. He leaned away and met her eyes. She smiled at him. She came to the last button and opened it. Her hand danced over her chest. She pushed him to lie down on his back. She kissed his jaw and his collarbone. Her tongue danced over his chest and then slowly went down until somewhere around his navel.

"That tickles."

"Does this tickle?" She placed her mouth flat on his skin right above his waistband and sucked.

"Ah!" He shot up. "No, it doesn't."

She smiled at him and pulled his shirt off his shoulders. She took it off him and threw it aside. He pulled on her shirt immediately and took it off. His hand paused by her upper arm and graced over it, and she noticed it hurt. She looked at it to see a bruise. It didn't surprise her, the Finnish team did not play gently.

"Does it hurt?" he asked.

She shook her head. "Not until you pushed on it," she teased.

He lifted his hand and brought it to her hips instead. She straddled his lap.

"Remember when we started dating and your hands even shook trying to put your contacts in?" she asked him. "They're very steady now."

He blushed and he offered her a teasing smile. "That's because you had worked me up for hours and then I was too pent up to—!"

She laughed. "Is that it?"

"Now you were otherwise occupied," he added. "That felt like a whole new and different thing. This just feels like we're making it better."

She brought her face closer to his. "You're so ready for married sex, aren't you?" she teased. Her eyes were locked with his. "When you know that you'll be the only one for the rest of my life who can make me feel that way?"

Harry exhaled.

"The only one who gets to see me like that, be the only one I want?"

He kissed her and his hand came to her bra to undo it. Then his mouth was on her and she could have sworn she almost heard him growl. Harry might claim not to have a possessive streak, she knew there was something to it.

She ran a hand through his hair as he adorned her body with kisses, his hands on her back guiding her to keep her right where he wanted her. She opened his belt, slowly worked it out of his trousers. Then she opened his trousers. She got up off his lap to take them off.

When he was out of his trousers, Harry started working on hers, quickly pulling it over her hips with her underwear and she kicked them off. She lay down in his arms. They kissed slowly with their limbs entangled. Harry brushed his fingers through her hair.

He gently guided her hip back a bit with a gentle nudge of his own. His hand squeezed her thigh and then danced up. His fingers touched her clit and slowly dove down. He ran a finger over her opening and she resisted the urge to buck into his hand.

"I love it when you get so wet for me," he murmured against her lips.

She moaned softly. "Knowing you'll be my husband soon really gets me going."

His finger dove inside. His thumb returned to her clit as he put a second finger in. "I bet I can make you even wetter."

She didn't even have the willpower to tease. "Yes, do it."

"You don't need to tell me twice," he commented.

Their lips connected again. Before long Ginny was bucking into his hand, begging for release, and he stopped. A moment later his fingers were replaced by his cock, pushing in easily.

Harry moved quickly and eagerly. She met his thrusts, keeping a hold tight on his hip to guide them together.

Harry groaned deeply all of a sudden. Ginny could tell he was close.

"Did you get too pent up after all?" she teased.

He panted. "How can I not?" was all he managed to reply. His lips were lightly parted, his chest rising with every breath.

"Give it to me," she teased. "Come on, Harry."

His eyes shut tightly and a moment later he came, riding out his orgasm softly. He took one deep breath and then he moved again. "Are you close?"

"Yes."

Within seconds his head was between her legs, licking and sucking her clit like his life depended on it. It was less than a minute later when she came against his mouth, moaning loudly.

He scooted up just enough to rest his head on her stomach. She guided his hand up to cover her breast, her own hand resting over his. Her legs wrapped around his waist.

"I love you so much," he sighed.

She smiled at him. "I love you too."

Arriving back home the following day was an interesting endeavour. They knew it had hit the papers before they left, but they had not expected the amount of letters and owls in the front garden. It took them a bit of time to relieve some of the owls from their letters but other owls were polite enough to do it themselves, dropped it in front of them and took off. Ginny put them all into a basket.

Then they arrived, with the basket, at the Burrow to find even more letters addressed to them.

"These are all offers for venues, dresses… I think you're going to make Sunday work. Some of them will be crazy enough to do it," Ron informed Ginny, tossing the letter towards her.

She caught it and opened it. "Flowers. Nice."

Fred and George walked in. "The brigade is here!" they announced. They looked behind them. "Wait, we lost two on the way here."

Percy and Bill entered a moment later, and she could see Charlie just pop into existence at the end of the garden too.

George plucked Arnold off his shoulder. "Your boy."

Ginny held out her hand and Arnold got up, quickly walking up to her shoulder and tucking against her neck.

"I missed you too!" she told Arnold.

Harry leaned in and tickled Arnold's back. The pygmy puff turned around and walked to Harry. He chuckled and took him off Ginny. He tucked his hand against his chest and Arnold settled in, humming lightly.

Ginny smiled at Harry. They sat down at the table. Luna and Neville showed up too, along with Ron's friend Hermione.

"She's just really good at planning," Ron announced with a fond look.

Hermione introduced herself and then went right to it. "If we use the morning to decide on everything, we can use the afternoon to go to vendors. Late afternoon everyone can go for fittings for a dress, a suit, robes…" She tapped on her schedule. "Tomorrow morning we finish setting up at the venue, early afternoon the orders will be picked up and then we should be all set by the evening." With another tap of her wand, the schedule duplicated and Ginny looked over it.

"This looks great," Ginny told her with a smile.

"Legal matters first," Bill said.

She looked at him with a frown. "What do you mean 'legal matters'?"

"Who is officiating your wedding? It's a bit essential," he told her.

"I don't know," she said with a shrug. "What else?"

Bill shook his head. "Are you taking his name? Prenup?"

"We can have a prenup," Ginny said with a look at Harry, who she knew was much richer than her.

He looked at her for a long moment. "There is no need."

"Are you sure?" she asked.

He nodded. "Yeah."

"And your name?" Bill continued.

She thought about it. Then she looked at Harry, who had no living Potters left. She leaned into his ear and whispered. "Do you want a Potter to still be in Quidditch next year?"

He smiled at her and shook his head softly. "If that's what you want."

"Potter it is then," she decided promptly. "Anything else legal?"

"Not that I can think of," Bill told her. "Although… you may need to formally inform the League…"

"That won't be necessary," Harry told them.

Ron cocked his head, looking dumbfounded. "Why not?"

"It's still a secret, but I am retiring. Yesterday was my last game."

"What?!" Fred let out.

"Why?" George asked.

Ron gasped. "You're joking?"

Harry shook his head. "I had a really good season and I'm happy to wrap up here. I don't want to deal with management again. All the orchestrating and everything I did not appreciate, even if that's why we ended up here."

Ginny put an arm around his waist.

"I love Quidditch, but for me, it was a way to get into the community after being home-schooled, and it was a way to fill my days, because I really needed to keep busy constantly. Quidditch provided that." Harry glanced towards her. "I've found happiness elsewhere. I may find something else to do, I am considering looking into charities… There are many options out there."

"You can be my stay-at-home husband for a bit," she told him.

"Good," he said with a smile.

Ginny turned to Luna. "Will you be my wedding photographer, please? I really think you captured us really well last time."

"It would be my honour," Luna told her with a wide smile.

"What venue do you want?" Hermione asked. "I think that's more a concern than the other things. You need to have availability."

Ginny looked over at her mum, who already knew the answer.

"Yes, you can do it here," her mother confirmed. "We just need a marquee and then we are all set."

Ginny looked over at Harry. "Good?"

He nodded. "That sounds perfect."

Then it was onto wedding dresses, flower arrangements, food and more. They agreed on a general colour theme, Neville promised to take care of the flowers and the rest of the tasks were divided among her brothers. Fred and George were very eager to provide fireworks and decorations from their wedding line, which had now been fully developed.

After lunch everyone was sent out on their missions. Her parents started preparing the garden for the marquee, and there was another bout of degnoming to be done, which Harry and Ginny assigned to themselves.

Luna and Hermione whisked her away to go wedding dress shopping together with her mother. Her brothers would take Harry for a suit. The dressmaker was over the moon that she could sell Ginny a dress. Before she knew it there were fifty dresses laid out in front of her, one prettier than the other.

She ended up trying on twenty, which felt like a full workout but she ended up settling on a whimsical dress with a big skirt, some floral details and the top reminded her of a shirt cut Harry seemed to have enjoyed.

By dinner she was completely exhausted. She lounged on the couch as they waited for food to be delivered, dinner and at the same time samples for tomorrow.

Harry walked up to Molly. "I have a question."

"Yes, dear?" she asked.

He smiled hesitantly. "You have been so welcoming to me all this time. I was wondering if you would like to walk down the aisle with me? I dread doing that walk alone and if my mum were here I'd have asked her, and it would mean the world to me if you would do it instead."

Her mother looked teary-eyed. She took his face between her hands. "It would be my honour." Then she hugged him.

Harry released her and she gave him another emotional look. He walked back over to Ginny.

"Do you want to involve Remus?" she asked him.

He shook his head. "He is bringing his wife and the kid so I think he wants to keep his focus there. I'm just glad he's going to be there. Thanks to you."

"No." She locked eyes with him. "You did that."

"You pushed me," he told her. He kissed her cheek. "Best bad influence of my life."

She grinned at him.

"Good news," Percy announced as he walked inside slightly out of breath. "Found someone who wants to officiate the wedding."

Charlie looked at him with a frown. "What? Did you just run around the Ministry until someone took pity on you?"

Percy offered him a pointed look. "No." He looked back at Harry and Ginny. "He said he knew you."

"Me?" Ginny asked.

"Harry," Percy specified. He pointed at Harry. "He's an Auror. Kingsley Shacklebolt."

"Oh." Harry's lips pressed together.

Ginny snaked an arm around his waist. "Did he work with your parents?"

"Yes." His eyes danced to her. "And he was in their class at Hogwarts. He knew them pretty well."

"Do you want that?" she asked softly. "Or do you want to find someone else?"

He frowned for a moment. "No, I… It's fine." He turned to her brother. "Thanks, Percy."

"No problem," Percy said, launching himself in a chair.

After a delicious dinner that involved note-taking, they returned to the living room to organise the last few things, confirm orders and go over the schedule for the following morning. Ginny didn't know Ron's friend very well, but she was an absolute blessing. Although Ginny got a little scared when she suggested starting an hour later in the morning and Hermione had firmly told her that was not feasible.

Harry called her back into the kitchen. Bill got up and followed too. She frowned at him but her brother simply offered her a reassuring smile.

"Rings." Harry placed a box on the table.

Bill patted her shoulder. "I'll be sizing it for you. Picked it up at Gringotts."

Ginny reached out to the box and when Harry nodded encouragingly, she opened it. She looked at the two rings in the box. She recognised it from the wedding album of his parents.

"Those are your parents'," she said. She didn't even feel ready to touch them. "Are you sure?"

"Very." He smiled fondly. "I could have picked other rings, even other heirlooms but… this feels right. I would have loved to introduce you to my parents… this way we take them with us." He pushed the box lightly towards her. "Go on."

She nodded and took out the smallest of the two rings. She looked at the engraving on the inside.

"It's small enough that we can add your names on the other side," Bill told her.

She nodded quietly. She took off her engagement ring for a moment and slipped the other one on. It was a little big on her.

"You and your tiny hands," Harry chuckled lightly. "You would have been such a good Seeker."

She smirked. "Thinking about making sure there is still a Seeker Potter next season?"

"No." He shook his head lightly. "You're too good of a Chaser."

"That I am."

Bill took out his wand and held out his hand for her. She placed it in his hand. He moved the ring around for a moment to see how much space there was around it.

"Alright, should be easy enough," Bill muttered. He set to work and the ring slowly resized until it fit perfectly on her finger. "Honestly, I think you could have done it," he told Harry. "The engagement ring is quite an impressive feat." He smiled at Ginny. "How's that?"

"Good." She slipped it off her finger once and put it back on to test. "Perfect."

"I was happy to let someone with more experience do it in this case," Harry told him.

Ginny took the ring off and placed it back into the box. "Your turn."

Harry took the ring and slipped it on his finger. He stared at it blankly when it fit him perfectly.

"Let me look," Bill said, observing it for a moment. "No, that's perfect. You're all set."

"Thanks, Bill," Ginny thanked him.

He stood up with a smile and walked back out of the kitchen. Ginny turned back to Harry. She scooted a little closer and brushed her hand through his hair.

"Are you okay?"

He nodded as he pulled the ring off his finger. "Sometimes the little things get to you, I guess." He put the ring back in the box and closed it.

"I guess big events like this aren't entirely helpful," she told him. "I asked Neville to add lilies to the flowers. I know it isn't much, but—"

Harry pulled her into his embrace. "Thank you." He inhaled deeply. "It's those things that make the difference. I don't need big things, I don't want to dwell on it. I just want to feel like they're near."

"Will you be okay alone tonight?" she asked. "I said I'd sleep here, but if you need me tonight then I don't care about tradition."

He released her and shook his head. "It's okay. You'd keep me up all night anyway, and I do want a good night's sleep," he teased. "We get to spend so many nights together in the future. I know I won't have nightmares. I'll see you in the morning."

She smiled at him. "Don't let my brothers convince you that you need a stag do tonight."

Harry looked towards the living room. "I think they're too tired to suggest it."
