Chuck vs. The Courtyard Bench
Well, in the previous chapter: Chuck did a YouTube livestream of just him talking about the origin story of Bash At The Bench. It's humble beginnings and the risky decision he shared with Morgan that ultimately paid off. It's during the livestream that he shared with the audience that included Sarah, Alex, Casey, Molly, Emma, Hartley, Vivian and everyone else that Camden Willard passed away due to congestive heart failure. Chuck became emotional as he shared how much of a bond he shared with not only Camden but all the Rockstar Rebels that he established over the course of 7 years. 7 years with 303 Rockstar Rebels chosen by Chuck and Morgan. He would then sing acapella "I'll Be Missing" and completely breakdown after it was over. Then 2 days later Morgan informs him that a special message has been posted on their channel just for him. The message would be a great big thank you and appreciation for all his contributions, especially coming from the Rockstar Rebels, as well as from their parents. Chuck would find out it was all done by Sarah as she gathered the troops in order to put a smile on his face. It's that smile that motivated to ask Sarah on a date during a department head meeting, which Ellie was tremendously proud of him for doing. So What's in story for this chapter? What movie scene does Chuck compare Molly's line of question to? Where is their date located at? Who do Chuck and Sarah meet during their date? Why did Chuck apologize to Sarah? How did Sarah rate her date with Chuck so far? Read and find out! Anyways, hope you enjoy the read and leave a comment to share your own thoughts on this particular chapters. As always, reviews are awesome.
Again, if you enjoyed reading my stories and left a comment I truly appreciate it. Please continue to do so as it gives me the incentive to write more chapters.
I don't own Chuck.

It's 6:00 p.m. on a Friday evening and Chuck pulls up is in his 2006 white Ford Falcon 2 door XR6 Turbo. He finds a parking spot a bit a way from Maison23, a condo in Culver City, CA where he'll be picking up Sarah Walker for their official date. It took nearly 3 weeks to happen, but it's finally happening nonetheless. As he's walking up the sidewalk, gift in hand, he reflects back earlier in the day for Bash At The Bench. Although he wasn't completely focused on the show because of his big date with Sarah, it turned out pretty well as a moment of silence was done before things kicked off in honor of Camden Willard. "Go Rest High" by Vince Gill was the chosen tribute song performed after with Camden's parents in attendance. Chuck, along with Jeff and Lester accompanying him, were able to respectfully sing it in memory of such a great kid who exuded such immense strength.
Afterwards, he shared that he, Sarah, Ellie, Morgan and Alex attended Camden's funeral representing Westside Medical. A number of Camden's fellow Rockstar Rebels were in attendance as well, which was considerably heartwarming. As for Bash At The Bench, it was very somber and at the same time focused on his life rather than his death. The rest of it was pretty much a fly by the seat of your pants situation, where there wasn't really a set list. The actual set list was thrown out the window, so to speak, when he started talking about Camden and how he was privileged enough to have personally gotten to know him. Then he asked if anyone from the nursing staff of the Children's wing wanted to share stories about young Camden Willard. Alex McHugh would instantly be the first to raise her hand and step forward to share her favorite, funny, and even heartwarming moments memories of the 7 year old.
It then started a domino effect of other people stepping up to where smiles, laughter, and not to mention tears were shared for a special little boy who unknowingly brought together a lot of people in the courtyard of Westside Medical Center. As for the pick of the latest Rockstar Rebel it was decided by Morgan and himself to postpone till next Friday because in Chuck's mind the atmosphere didn't feel right, which a similar situation happened several years ago. In any case, Bash At The Beach ended with Chuck and Jeffster singing "You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins from the Disney movie Tarzan. All in all, the show itself was most definitely a fitting heartfelt and emotional tribute for a member of the Westside Medical Center family. Plus, it was most definitely considered therapeutic to talk about it as well. for the nerd too.
Speaking of the nerd, he's standing in front of the condo gate and buzzes Sarah's unit number. After waiting for a brief moment, a familiar voice is heard from the speaker. "Come on up Chuckles."
"Thanks Molly." responded Chuck, opening the gate after hearing the buzzing sound.
A few moments later, he knocks at the door of 4F which opens with Molly standing there motioning her big sister's nerdy date to come inside. After stepping inside, the two briefly exchange fists taps ending with the explosion. When Chuck turns around, he's suddenly tackled with a tight hug by the matriarch of the Walker women, Emma. Fortunately, for Chuck, his gift for Sarah wasn't damaged or in this case crushed between the two of them.
"What's with the hug? Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome mom hug." he mused, peering down at Emma. He hugs her back with his free arm that's not holding the gift intended for Sarah.
"With everything that's happened the past 8 days..." responded Emma. She releases her tight embrace and takes a step back and expresses a comforting smile towards Chuck. "...you really needed it. So, enjoy it or else." she firmly added in a joking manner. A parental point of the finger up at him for emphasis.
In response, Chuck holds up both hands expressing a bit of faint laughter. "Yes ma'am."
"I'll go tell Sarah you're here." nodded Emma, with a cheeky smile. "You look very handsome as well." She turns around inevitably entering the kitchen making a quick turn left then up the stairs leaving Molly and Chuck standing in the living together in silence.
The momentarily silence is subsequently broken by Molly who eyes him up and down then walks around him. For Chuck, it's considerably weird for him to be critiqued up and down by the teenager, but it's also the same girl who noticed that his hair made funny animal shapes, he thinks to himself. His thoughts end when Sarah's sister stands in front of and looks up at him.
"Hair?" she stated, pointing to chuck's dark haired curly locks.
"Special occasion."
"Awesome. No funny animal shapes for tonight."
"All tamed."
Molly nods after hearing that. "Flowers..." Molly observed, seemingly impressed by his gesture. "...nice touch." added the 13 year old.
"Glad you approve." Chuck nodded back.
"Dinner?"
"Yes."
"Where?"
"Some place nice."
"Expensive?"
"Maybe."
"Good." approved the young girl. "What else?"
"Something she'll love." In that moment, Chuck can't help but feel like the late John Candy in the movie Uncle Buck where he's sitting in the kitchen with Macaulay Culkin's character. Mac's character firing off question after question with Candy's character answering them instantly without any hesitation whatsoever, which is quite amusing on his part. In that instance, Chuck takes a moment to check if the coast is clear then leans over to Molly. "By the way, how big of a Harry Potter fan is your sister anyway?" he added, whispering a bit to her.
"Big fan."
"How big?" inquired Chuck, arching his right brow down towards Molly.
"You've got a room full of your Star Wars toys, right? "
"Sure..." replied Chuck. "...the priceless ones. They're called memorabilia." he added with considerable emphasis.
"Whatever." Molly waved off, briefly rolling her eyes.
After saying that, a slight smirk is expressed on the young teenager's face. She then raises her right finger and motions for him to follow her. Chuck follows Molly into the kitchen from the living moving past the stairs making a slight left from the kitchen table. They both head towards a nearby door, but they would find themselves stopped in their tracks by a voice coming behind them.
"I smell Jasmine." Chuck slowly turns on his heels to face the voice in question. It's Sarah. She zeroes in on the flowers that her nerdy date is holding in his hands. "Gardenias!" she breathes out in surprise.
Unfortunately, the youngest Bartowski sibling is totally transfixed on the woman standing a few feet away from him. It's not until she's standing right in front of him, smelling said gardenias, that he quickly snaps out of his momentary haze like he was in before when he first met her in the courtyard. Fortunately for him, he was able to snap out of it without the help of Morgan kicking him in the back of the leg.
"I remember you saying they're your favorite." he softly stated, passing the flowers over to her. A lopsided grin expressed down towards her.
After briefly closing her eyes to take in the familiar aroma of gardenias one more time, she peers up instantly locking eyes with Chuck. A glowing, appreciative smile expressed while peering up at him. She lifts herself up a bit by her toes, leans slightly right, and gently places a soft kiss on the left side of Chuck's cheek. "Thank you."
It's a kiss that he wasn't really expecting. He resists the urge to reach up and feel the area where she kissed his check and gives his response. "You're welcome." Chuck responded with a goofy looking grin in return.
The moment between the two of them would subsequently be broken up the sound of a clearing throat. Chuck and Sarah turn to the source...Molly. The 13 year old shifts her eyes back and forth from Chuck to her big sister then looks at the Gardenias that Sarah is holding. She rolls her eyes then reaches up and takes Chuck's gift to Sarah. "I'll go put these in water."
As Molly walks away heading towards the sink, Emma approaches her oldest daughter and Chuck. "So, I overheard that you're taking Sarah out to dinner? Where to?"
Sarah ducks her head a bit with embarrassment after hearing that. "Mom."
Chuck expresses a soft smile and a bit of faint laughter as he gives Emma his response. "I was thinking of the restaurant C3 since I know the owner there. I helped him out a bit along with 2 friends of mine." Sarah's eyes go wide as she slowly turns to look directly at her mom. "Plus, the owner, Mr. Colt, owes his life to Ellie after suffering a heart attack. He was very lucky Ellie and Devon were there for their anniversary." he shared with mother and oldest daughter.
"Oh my. Lucky indeed." nodded Emma, raising both eyebrows. Her attention briefly directed towards her oldest daughter.
Before Sarah could say anything, Molly approaches and speaks up. "I'm sure my sister would love the place. Since it's the first time she'll be going there..." she said, expressing a bit of mischievous grin towards Sarah. "...right sis?"
As much as she wants to respond to Molly, she ignores her. So many thoughts are running through Sarah's mind right now that she's internally freaking out. In her mind, one of the main questions swirling in her mind is how is she going to explain Mr. Colt knowing her by name when he sees for the 3rd time. Her thought process is broken when she hears the sound of Chuck's voice speaking up.
"That not me though, if I'm being totally honest." Chuck stated, shrugging is shoulders.
"Wait...what?" Sarah retorted somewhat confused.
"So, you're cheap then." Molly proclaimed, crossing her arms. Her attention not breaking on iota as she locks eyes with Chuck.
"Molly Anastasia Walker. That's rude of you to say." Emma's attention from her youngest daughter is directed to the man she insulted. "I'm sorry about her." she added, in with a very apologetic tone of voice.
Chuck shakes his head and expressed a crooked smile. "No worries. What I'm saying is, if Sarah is going on a date with me she should have an experience that's truly authentic from Chuck Bartowski. Not some guy, who is going to try to impress her and probably fail miserably at it. Even though I got the Willy Wonka style golden ticket at C3 thanks to Ellie, I'm not using it. I have always been told growing up by Ellie and Vivian to just be myself. So, I am when it comes to this dinner." Chuck explained with genuine sincerity.
After hearing what Chuck shared, all her worries, fears, and anxiety concerning going back to C3 again gradually dissipate. It's replaced with a comforting, relaxed smile as she given once again some new insight into the man that is Chuck Bartowski.
"So, where are you taking me?" In response, Chuck turns to his date and simply flashes his trademark smile to her.

It took a total of 40 minutes to drive to their intended destination. A place in Lincoln Park Lake. To be more exact, a red building by a seemingly tranquil lake that wasn't a particularly long walk. A walk that would give Chuck the opportunity to give Sarah a quick tour of the place. While doing so, he shares with her a number of additional building that are situated near, close to, or around the red building that they are heading towards. Buildings such as such as a recreation center, a senior citizens center, a playground, picnic tables, and ball fields. Once they arrive at the red building, Sarah notices it has been tented up a bit and hears some commotion coming from within. It would lead Chuck to speak up.
"Have you ever been to a food rave?" questioned the nerdy business owner.
Sarah shakes her head but her interested is quite piqued at the moment. "No. I don't think I have?"
"You're in for a treat then." smiled Chuck. The two stand there, momentarily taking in what's going on within the red building's white tented courtyard. "You see, it happens once a month all around the city of Los Angeles. Different chefs and venues. Are you up for it?"
"So, we're basically cooking our own food. Is that what you're telling me Bartowski?"
Chuck raises both hands up. "Hey, if you can't stand the heat Walker."
Sarah instantly expresses a smirk at the challenge Chuck just threw down. "You're on." she stated, pointing up to her nerdy date.
"Now we're talking." he responded, clapping his hands together.
His attention on his blonde date is then directed forward in order to scan for any available seating seeing that its somewhat packed under the white tented courtyard. While doing so, the nerd suddenly spots two available seats leading him to take Sarah's hand without even thinking about it, catching Sarah completely by surprise but she goes with it because it's an incredibly awesome feeling. For her, it's the first time he's holding her hand that in a way feels as if they're already in a relationship for quite some time she thinks to herself. The soft and gentle way his hand feels intertwined with hers without it being overly grabby tells her he's not overwhelmingly possessive, unlike in some of her past relationships.
When it comes to Chuck though, he knew the instant he took her hand it was a considerable shock to his system, to say the least. It took him completely by surprise, but at the same time was very instinctive so much so that he nearly stopped himself from moving forward in order for him to realize what he just did. In his mind, he would have immediately apologized for it, even though he had a sneaking suspicion that Sarah didn't really mind evident by the kiss on his cheek earlier for the sweet gesture of bringing her gardenias as a gift for their first date. Plus, the fact she's actually holding his hand with both her hands instead of one makes him smile inwardly and outwardly as well. After a few moments, they both finally arrive at said table where the two available seats were spotted by the nerd.
Chuck is about to ask if those two seats are being saved when a sudden realization overcomes him. "Mr. and Mrs. Turner?"
"Charles?" A growing smile appears on the elder man's face. "Pleasant surprise young man. Laura..." he happily said, expressing jovial laughter. "...look who it is."
"I see Craig. Fancy meeting you here of all places. Who is this beautiful young lady with you?" wondered Laura, visibly intrigued.
In that instance, Sarah introduces herself. "Sarah Walker ma'am. I'm Chuck's date." she happily added, knowing how much she enjoys saying that word out loud.
Chuck nods in response to what Sarah said. "She's also the Chief Operating Officer of Westside Medical Center. Started 3 weeks ago." chimed the youngest Bartowski sibling.
"That place is like our second home. Every other day or week a new ailment pops up." Craig jokingly remarked. "A couple days ago my back went out again. Getting older stinks. Never do it my boy." he added shaking his head.
"I'll try Mr. Turner." nodded Chuck.
After some shared amusement between the foursome, Chuck and Sarah join them, leading Laura Turner to speak with a smile on her face. "What my husband is trying to say, young lady is..." she said reaching to pat her husband on his right shoulder. "...welcome dear. You'll be seeing our faces there so much you'll be sick of it."
"Don't say that Mrs. T. You're both awesome to have at the hospital. Ellie and Devon love seeing you. Plus, You're pretty much family as well. The way you've treated Ellie and I growing up over the years. I may as well call you grandma and grandpa." he lovingly shared, leaning forward across the table to gently pat Craig's left forearm.
"I don't mind. How about you Laura?"
"Can I pinch your cheeks like I do my grandkids?" she inquired with a hopeful tone in her voice.
In response, Chuck can't help but shoot an amused smile towards Laura Turner after hearing that. "Pinch away."
While sitting there listen to and watching the adorable interaction between Chuck and Mrs. Turner, she can't help but reflect back on what Lou said in regards to her nerd. Granted, it was Manoosh's description of him relayed to her from her own mouth. His authenticity is strangely, and not to mention so weirdly, magnetic that you can't help but gravitate to him. To her, truer words were never spoken as she has seen with her own two eyes and listened with her own ears the majority of people she's met since then have that truly have such incredible things to say about her nerd. A man who expresses, gives, and shares love with everyone he comes in contact with to the point where they just can't help but react in such a way that it's completely mind-blowing she thinks to herself. Her thoughts about this amazing man she's fortunate enough to be on a date with are set aside as he speaks up.
"Well..." he stated, turning his attention to the chefs making their appearance. "...this will be interesting. You ready for this?" inquired Chuck, turning to his beautiful blonde date.
In her mind, the question that Chuck asked her was already answered the moment she met Chuck 3 weeks ago. Unknowingly, she would be taken on a mental and not to mention emotional journey that's been considered for her to be most definitely an emotional rollercoaster in every sense of the word she thinks to herself. In that instance, she gives a smile then a nod to her nerdy date knowing from this point on things will quite possibly be changing for the better between the two of them.
"So ready." she answered, with a sense of uncertain excitement in her voice. She then turns her attention to The Turners who are seemingly eager to get started with the cooking as well.

"We're paying to cook our own food." stated Craig Turner shaking his head in disbelief. "Moments like this I wish there was at least an open bar to wet my whistle with my drink of choice. A Manhattan." he added, with knife in hand cutting up some vegetables on a cutting board.
Laura playfully nudges her husband's right arm while her left elbow while whisking a concoction in a metal bowl on the table in front of her. "You hush. You know you enjoy it. Plus, it's an evening out for the both of us and we agreed that we're not going to end up being one of those married couples who stays locked away in their house." she responded faintly laughing, shaking her head. "We deserve this."
"Yes, we do." nodded Craig with a reaffirming smile towards his lovely wife.
Mr. Turner then leans over sharing a brief kiss with his long time and not to mention lovely bride. It's something that Chuck and Sarah take a moment to witness while preparing food on their side to where they glance at one another. A shared smile between the two of them that the happily married couple keenly notice before returning to the preparation of their meals. After a brief moment of cutting and mixing, it's Laura who directions her attention to Sarah.
"Sarah, do you cook?" inquired Mr. Turner's better half.
"I do my best." Sarah answered shrugging her shoulders. "My Mom is the chef in the family."
"Siblings? Father?" wondered Craig.
"Younger sister. Molly." answered Sarah. "Mom and dad are divorced."
In that instance, Chuck learns something new that she hasn't shared with him. Granted, he had some kind of idea that her dad wasn't in the picture being that it was just her mom and Molly living with her. To him, they share a common bond of sort in regards to being separated from family members, or in her case a family member, he thinks to himself. However, what he doesn't know is the extent of her relationship with her father and whether it's a close one or one that she doesn't want to speak about. If the latter is the case then he won't bring it up in general conversation or push her to talk about it unless she voluntarily shares it like she did her almost marriage to Cole Barker back on what he believes now is their beach.
"Sorry to hear." Mr. Turner's attention is quickly directed to Chuck in order to change the mood at their table after learning of that bit of information. "What about you Charles? Do you cook?"
"I'm no Gordon Ramsey or anything..." the nerd faintly chuckled. "...but I know my way around a kitchen." Chuck added briefly expressing a grin towards Mr. and Mrs. Turner. "You both know the situation Ellie and I were in. Thankfully, we had Hartley and Della Winterbottom looking out for us. Our unofficial foster parents you might say. Every so often, they would take us out to something like this and we, along with Vivian, had an awesome time." he happily shared, reflecting back on that particularly tough time of his life. "It made us feel like we're part of their family, which we sort of were. Plus, it's a skill that served me well when I went off to college at Stanford." Chuck added with a nod.
While slicing meat on top of her metal skillet provided at their table, Sarah is once again given some new found insight in the man behind Chuck Bartowski. Although he and Ellie suffered an unfortunate situation that left both of them parentless, it didn't stop Chuck from seeing the brighter side of things, she thinks to herself. Instead of dwelling on the sadness and emptiness of it all he turned a negative into a positive where he focused on the enjoyment of being part of a family with parents that weren't his own. In her mind, Hartley and Della Winterbottom with their daughter Vivian truly played a pivotal role in molding, as well as shaping, his life where he ultimately became the man he is today, she thinks to herself. Sarah's thoughts on the personal adversity Chuck has gone through growing up are set aside as she focuses her attention on the couple sitting across from her.
"If you don't mind me asking..." wondered the blue eyed blonde. "...how long have you two been married?"
"55 wonderful years." smiled Laura.
For Chuck, the only stable relationship he knows is Ellie and Devon's and even though they did take a break early on they would find a way back to each other. Devon wised up and found the awesomeness within himself to put a ring on his older sister's finger. They would learn to help raise a child, even before they had a child of their own in the form of his awesome niece Clara Woodcomb. In his mind, their relationship has seemingly been the quintessential pedestal that he aspired to be if and when he ever found himself in a truly loving and caring relationship. That relationship and the relationship between Hartley and his late wife Della who unfortunately passed away due to cancer. The love of his life.
To him, it's both of those relationships that he felt like he had with Jill but that didn't go like he thought it would. Thinking about it further, it's the only relationship he's ever been in that made him actually give up on the notion that dreams do come true. That happy endings are just in story books and the only people to every find true love are the ones who are lucky to be in the right place at the right time. While standing there, he can't help but feel that standing in the courtyard of Westside Medical Center was for him the right place and time. All the planets aligning as he's heard before.
Chuck expresses a grin then chimes in asking a question of his own. "How would you best describe your relationship?"
In that instance, Craig momentarily stops to mull over Chuck's questions. It's not long before he gives his answer. "It's like an old bourbon that's been aged to perfection."
"That sounds..." Chuck pauses for a moment. He briefly glances at Sarah before returning back to Mr. Turner. "...awesome?" he added, quirking his right brow.
"Never really heard a marriage described like that." Sarah faintly chuckled in a somewhat awkward manner.
It's at the point Mrs. Turner chimes in. "He's joking of course." she responded, shaking her head somewhat bemused. "Our marriage is best described as a partnership. A team. It's teamwork that has you striving to work together to give more to than take from each other."
"Plus..." Mr. Turner added leaning over to gently bump his wife. "...you watch each other's backs." he nodded with a reassuring smile to his wife. "Our advice to you two. Free of charge of course."
"We'll keep that in mind." replied Chuck with a slight smirk.
"Please do." firmly nodded Craig.
"I have a good feeling about the both of you." proclaimed Mrs. Turner, expressing a wink then a firm nod to the young couple. Afterwards, Chuck and Sarah simply express soft smiles towards one another as they, along with The Turners, continue preparing the meals they will eventually partake in.

It's around 8:45 when Chuck and Sarah leave the food rave with their bellies full of food that they prepared themselves. Luckily, neither one of them, or The Turners for that matter, ended up being given the Heimlich maneuver or needing an ambulance to be taken to the hospital because of the way they handle the food. In any case, the two are walking hand in hand by Lincoln Park Lake heading back to Chuck's car. As they continue walking, Sarah is lost in thought reflecting back on a nearly 2 hours dinner spent with not only Chuck, but Craig and Laura Turner. A couple that she had the good fortune of getting to know on a personal basis, especially since they are in intents and purposes repeat customers when it comes to being at Westside Medical Center.
Her thoughts are suddenly broken when she hears the sound of Chuck's voice causing her to refocus back to the reality of where she is now. A reality that she is smiling ear to ear from at the moment while holding hands with a man who is everything that she could possibly ever imagine and then some.
"I know this was supposed to be our date..." said Chuck, with a hint of disappointment in his voice. "...but it ended up being a double date with The Turners. Sorry about that." he added, visibly kicking himself in the metaphorical sense.
Instantly, Sarah chimes in to where she turns and stops in front of Chuck causing the nerd to stop in his tracks. The oldest daughter of Emma Walker softly peers up at him clearly expressing an appreciative, reassuring smile. "Hey..." she said, reaching up with her right hand. Her palm gently placed on his left cheek. "...you have nothing to be sorry about. Our date turned out better than expected. I give it a rave review. The food, company, atmosphere, and location...5 stars."
"Awesome." Sarah turns around leading the two of them to continue walking. "So, you didn't mind having Mr. and Mrs. Turner being there?" questioned the youngest Bartowski sibling.
Sarah shakes her head in response. "I didn't mind at all. They're a part of the Westside Medical Center family and yours as well. Like you said, you may as well call them your grandparents because of how they've been part of your and Ellie's life." she retorted with a chuckle. A brief pause is taken on her part then continues on. "Lou was right about you."
Chuck's right brow arches after hearing Lou's name. "Lou was right about what?"
"How your authenticity is strangely and so weirdly, magnetic that people can't help but gravitate to you." she fully shared.
"Is that all? That's pretty much a given." chuckled the nerdy business owner. "I take it Manoosh talked to her."
A nod is given in response by Sarah. "She did say that while I was talking with her."
"You were? Where was I?"
"In the bathroom."
"Oh yeah." retorted Chuck, momentarily reflecting back on their non date together. It's at that point, his curiosity gets the better of him. "What else did you two talk about?" he inquired with sheer curiosity on his part.
"You know. A little of this and a little of that. Yada Yada Yada. Basic girl talk." she cryptically answered back.
"Ok Elaine Benes. I'm sure you'll be having your basic girl talk with the female version of Jerry Seinfield, George Costanza and Cosmo Kramer after our date then."
"Maybe." she responded side eyeing Chuck.
In that instance, Chuck shakes his head after noticing the side then continues on. "Well, just know that our date isn't over."
"It's not? Where are you taking me?" she asked with curious excitement in her voice.
"All I can tell you is..." He pauses for dramatic effect and to playfully torture his beautiful blonde date as well. "...think back to our first meeting and what I was wearing on top of my head." Chuck added, knowing she'll remember because he hasn't forgotten that moment.
After being given a clue that concerns their first meeting, Sarah's eyes suddenly widen causing her to stop in her tracks. She slowly turns to peer up at Chuck who is just grinning at her. It's in that moment, the kid in her comes out to where she excitedly hops up and down with joy. Before Chuck can continue on, Sarah starts running off leaving Chuck standing there absolutely amused at what's now happening. As for Sarah, she suddenly runs back to her nerdy date, takes or should I say grabs both his hands, and pulls him forward to the point where he may have possibly suffered whiplash because of it. The two heading towards Chuck's car and to the location of the second part of their date.
