Chuck vs. The Courtyard Bench
Well, in the previous chapter: Sarah celebrates her birthday and a slew individuals are in attendance. One of those individual attending is Hannah. It causes considerable concern on Sarah's part but her concerns are somewhat quelled by Ellie explaining how the two of them met. As for Hannah and Chuck they have a chance to speak to where the physical therapist of Westside Medical Center appreciates the fact that she and Chuck didn't end up being a couple. This would lead to Chuck and Casey having a talk as the Colonel shares his not so perfect proposal story involving Kathleen. Unfortunately, they would be interrupted when a number of S.W.A.T showed up saying that everybody is trespassing on private property. Needless to say, S.W.A.T turned out to be male strippers hired by Carina as a gift to Sarah. Speaking of Sarah, she was totally surprised and her Wildcard Card enforcer persona came out. Carina is a dead woman, but how dead is she? So, here are the who, what, where, when why, hows? Who does Sarah and Carina get in trouble over on a business trip with Jack? What did the situation involve? When does Carina begin to show she actually has a heart and soul? Why does Sarah choose the song in order for Carina to make amends with not just her, but with everybody else? How does Sarah react as it pertains to Chuck's gift? Read and find out! I hope you enjoy the read and leave a comment to share your own thoughts on this particular chapters. As always, reviews are awesome.
Again, if you enjoyed reading my stories and left a comment, I truly appreciate it. Please continue to do so as it gives me the incentive to write more chapters.
I don't own Chuck.
More Than Words
XXX
For Sarah, the first half of her dirty thirty themed birthday didn't turn out exactly the way she wanted. It turned out far worse than she ever expected as it started with wearing a sash and crown then it went all downhill from there after that from her perspective. The thing that put it over the top was the S.W.A.T. tactical team that ended up turning out be male strippers that her former college classmate hired without Ellie's knowledge. Speaking of the blonde and the red headed vixen they are face to face discussing the situation that happened, with Sarah expressing her displeasure.
"What the hell, Carina!?" Sarah angrily stated. Her arms tightly crossed. Both women standing outside in the main atrium of the venue where Chuck and Casey were previously located. "Male strippers!?"
"It's your birthday. I thought it would be a good idea to spice things up, Blondie." the red head retorted, leaning in to playfully bump her blonde counterpart.
In response, Sarah can't help but breathe out a soft chuckle of disbelief. For her, their friendship over the years have been bonded mainly due to her unpredictability and shock value when it comes to not only her words, but actions as well. There was never a dull moment. Total opposites in personality and mindset, but when the proverbial chips or down there's nothing that the 3 lifelong gal pals that met during their days at Georgetown wouldn't do for each other. Of course, Carina was the one who most definitely pushed the envelope to the point of nearing the edge and then crossed it for the sheer hell of it.
"You thought…" she replied back, shaking her head. "…you thought. Spice things up." Her lips purse together tightly then a few nods given afterwards. "See that's your problem right there." she emphatically added, pointing to Carina. "You act before you think and..."
"Whoa!" interjected the party/event planner. "What's got your panties in a bunch!? I did this…" Carina steps forward pointing her right finger to her bestie. "…for you."
"For me!?" she responded back. "Do you realize what you did!? No, you didn't."
"Hey, all I did was give you the best birthday present that you'll never forget." she retorted, expressing a mischievous smirk towards her.
"That's the problem." she breathed out. "Thankfully, Morgan was able to cut off the live stream feed and fortunate enough he programmed a 30 second delay in case something like that happened." Sarah revealed.
Afterwards, Sarah steps back and turns around in order to gaze out at the lush and well-manicured garden within the atrium. She then starts walking forward on the center sidewalk provided leading Carina to eventually follow her. A look of confusion on her face as what's happening right now. A few seconds later, the blonde stops then takes a deep breath before turning around to face her red headed gal pal.
"You don't realize actions have consequences."
"What are you talking about?" wondered Carina.
"What you did wasn't for me. It was for you." Sarah pointed out. There's a mixture of anger and resentment in her voice. "You've always been this way. Your selfish need to get a desired reaction. Bad or good. Mostly bad. Well, you go it and all at my expense." she added, pointing to herself.
"I'm selfish." she responded back. A look of disbelief expressed on her face. "What is with you, Walker? You've never been this bent out of shape before."
"I have every right to be. Everybody in there witnessed that." she emphatically stated, walking passed Carina pointing those inside the venue. She then turns around to face Carina once again.
"Yeah…" happily nodded Carina. "…and they absolutely loved it." she added, expressing a smug, victorious smile.
"Really!? Did you even hear what I just said?"
Sarah continues to shake her head knowing there's usually no accountability on Carina's part when she does something out of pure shock value's sake. It's has been ongoing pattern for her red headed counterpart ever since college and she's been able to tolerate until now. In her mind, what she did back then didn't necessarily impact her future, but what she did moments ago absolutely jeopardized everything she's worked hard to build up for herself.
"Did you ever take into account my boss, Chief Beckman? Ellie's young daughter? Any of my co-worker's kids who brought their family to the party? My little sister!" seethed Sarah, in a questioning manner. The tone of anger more defined and pronounced. "What if one of the Board of Directors came and saw what went down? What then, huh?"
"It's all in good fun and besides..." Carina replied, shrugging her shoulders. "…they'll get over it."
"I'm not going to be able to get over it." Sarah quickly spitted out. Afterwards, she takes a moment to calm herself down before speaking up again. "I'm utterly embarrassed because of it. Mortified actually. Embarrassed by the fact we're actually friends. "
"Seriously!? The impact of those words seemingly hitting Carina with such an immense force behind them. Words that have meaning to where she's actually soaking in what's she's hearing instead of having them usually go in one ear and out the other for her.
"It hurts to say but it needed to be said."
There's an awkward silence between the two women, but it's subsequently be broken by Carina's response. "So that's it. We're done as friends. Just like that?"
"I didn't say that. We'll always be friends." In that instance, a soft chuckle is expressed as she takes a moment to reflect back regarding their friendship. "One of the things that I most admire about you is how unfiltered and so boldly upfront you are. You go after what you want...like college boyfriends for instance."
"You're welcome by the way. None of them were right for you."
Sarah quirks her right brow. "Mhm." After shaking her head, she takes a moment to gather her thoughts again and continues speaking. "You're a risk taker. If you crash and burn it doesn't bother you at all. That's you, Carina. Me…" Sarah pauses for a second. "…I don't have that luxury. I'm being held to a high standard. I have responsibilities to adhere to, especially when it comes to the position I hold. I'm always under a microscope on and off the job. I've already been suspended once I don't want to end up getting fired."
"I know that."
"Then why? Sarah inquired, crossing her arms once again.
Carina doesn't answer right away. Instead, she steps forward, and walks then passes by her blonde counterpart heading towards the stone bench. A moment later she takes a seat with Sarah inevitably taking a seat right next to her. A few seconds go by before the red head speaks up.
"I'm jealous of you." answered Carina. Her answer causes Sarah to express a mixture of confusion, surprise and shock on her face.
XXX
"You're jealous…" repeated Sarah, quirking her right brow. "…of me?" She's silent for a moment as the blonde sits there with a questionable stare at Carina. "Bullshit."
It's at that point, Carina is bent over and busts out in laughter.
Sarah instantly rolls her eyes. "I knew it." she breathed out.
After the red head eventually stops laughing, she takes a couple breathes before continuing to speak. "I didn't how long I could keep a straight face."
Sarah shakes her head then gives her response. "You, of all people, pretty much live a life that you've dreamed of back in college. Being the party girl. Now people pay you to plan their parties. Besides, you don't give a shit what anyone thinks of you."
"That's not true." she retorted back, shaking her head. "I actually give a shit of what you think of me."
In response, Sarah's eyes furrow. "Since when? You've never listened to anyone including me."
"True…" Carina nodded, in agreement. "…but you more than anyone have put up with all the shit I've said and done. Remember Pakistan?"
"Remember? I've never forgotten." Sarah answered back, reflecting back on that particular moment in time. "Jack's political services were requested overseas, and he wanted me to go to learn the ropes. He even said I could bring a friend. Unfortunately, Zondra couldn't go as my plus one."
"Lucky, I was available. I'm always available." Carina sees Sarah about to open her mouth leading her to immediately interject. "Shut up." she added, pointing to her blonde bestie. "Hey, a free trip is a free trip even though it was on Jack's dime."
"You know…it still boggles my mind that you could have nearly started an international incident involving a Pakistani diplomat's son."
"To be fair I was drunk, and Jack said to go have a good time."
"The threes of us. You two ditched me and the protective detail. I didn't know what to do. So, I had no choice but to call Jack. Thankfully, he provided me with the resources of one of his trusted associates to track the both of you down. At a tattoo parlor of all places. After doing some reading concerning Pakistani culture, especially the guidelines/rules on how tattoos could seriously interfere, as well as limit future career choices for a diplomat's son, I hoped to God we were able to make it on time to stop you guys. We did."
The red head shrugs her shoulders. "He was able to take care of the situation and smooth things over. No harm. No foul." Carina pointed out.
"Smooth things over? We ended up pretty much on lockdown for the remainder of the trip." Sarah shared, thinking back on the situation. She briefly pauses leading her to slowly crack a smile. "You do make life interesting though, especially with what you pulled tonight."
"Right. It's never boring whenever I'm around." smiled Carina, leaning over to playfully bump. Afterwards, she makes the decision to say something that will totally take Sarah by surprise. "I'm sorry."
Sarah's eyes widen after hearing that. "As long as I've known you, you've never apologized."
"I know. It just feels all wrong." she answered back, inevitably pushing herself off the stone bench and into a standing position. "Look, I get that tonight was supposed to special with all your co-workers, boss, family, friends, Chuck…I want to make it up to you."
"How?"
It's at that point, the atrium door opens with Chuck's upper half partly sticking out. "Is it safe to come in or do you two ladies need to hash this out American Gladiators style? The 90's version not the rebooted one in the 2000's." he shared, entering with considerable caution. "We can head over to Skyzone right now and joust it out?" he added, walking over to the two women.
"There's no need." answered Sarah, shaking her head. "By the way, where was my nerdy knight in shining armor? I thought he'd come and rescue me."
"It wasn't my finest moment as your boyfriend." he retorted throwing up his left hand. His reaches up with his right to rub the back of his head. "I know that wasn't awesome of me. I'm sorry."
"You're in trouble, Chucky." she responded, expressing a grin towards the nerd. "I'm sure you'll pay for it later tonight." Carina added, winking over at him.
It takes a moment for Carina's suggestive comment to sink leading him to suddenly get all flustered causing him to stammer incoherently. While doing so, Sarah can't help but laugh at how uncomfortable her nerdy boyfriend is because of her red headed besties since college.
"Casey stopped me, but that's still no excuse though."
"I forgive you. As for Casey, I'll have a talk with him later." In that instance, she notices what looks like a business card in Chuck's hand. "What's that?" inquired the blonde.
"Oh…" responded Chuck, holding up the business card. "…Jeff came up to me and said if I needed female strippers for my birthday party that he would hook me up." he added, with his eyes wide open.
"No. That's clearly a bad idea…" Sara replied, shaking her head. "…especially if it's from Jeff."
"I know. Do you want to know what makes it far worse?"
"What?" questioned Sarah and Carina in unison.
"I found out from Lester that Jeff's sister would be able to give him a great deal." he shared, holding up the business card. It then suddenly dawns on him what Lester possibly meant by that causing him to drop the business card down to the ground. Afterwards, he physically shivers and cringes at the thought of Jeff's sister dancing at his birthday party or any party for that matter. "I need a shower."
Without skipping a beat, Carina speaks up. "I'd happily join you."
"Carina." Sarah sternly admonished. She partly shoots her Wildcard Enforcer look towards her. A few seconds later, she turns her attention back to Chuck. "I hope nobody took video and posted it on their social media."
"No worries." stated Chuck. "Chief Beckman and Casey took care of that with assistance from Big Mike. Even Hartley and Vivian threatened legal action on anyone if they were about to or even thinking about it. Molly..."
The moment Chuck said her younger sister's name she instantly reacted. "What did brat do?"
"She made a declaration to kick anyone in the nuts." In response, Sarah could help but breathe out of bit of faint laughter. "Emmitt tried to help as well on your behalf." Chuck added, briefly rolling his eyes.
"He's here?" Sarah responded. "What happened?"
"Everybody pretty much ignored him."
All 3 individuals share a laugh. It would then lead to Carina speaking up. "Wow, Blondie. You got people you trust in your corner."
"Those people..." Sarah pointed out. "…are my family." she proudly added, with a soft smile. "Emmitt, not so much." Afterwards, the birthday girl takes a moment to gather her thoughts then gets Carina's attention more so than Chuck's. "Speaking of family, I think I know a way you can make things right mostly for everyone in there."
It's at the point, Chuck and Carina respond simultaneously after briefly looking at each other. "How?"
XXX
"Are you sure about this? I'm not that great of a singer." whispered Carina, over to Chuck. The nerd and Jeffster sitting on stools. The duo with their acoustic guitars at the ready. Guitars that were provided by Jeff from his van that the 2-man band arrived in for Sarah's birthday party.
After Sarah discussed with Chuck and Carina on the plan, she would then address the attendees of her dirty thirty birthday party of what is about to happen. For the red headed vixen, she thought her idea was more of a punishment than a way to make amends with her blonde bestie counterpart. A way of getting back at her for all the times she took what Sarah liked and more than likely the guys she was interested in. True, she enjoyed stirring up the drama and then sit back to witness the chaotic aftermath that would unfold afterwards. While standing there, a sudden thought comes to mind. Is this karma coming back to bite her in the ass?
"You want to make it up to Sarah, don't you?" he whispered back. "Plus, I'll be there to back you up. Jeff and Lester too. You know the song. That's what you told me at least."
"It's a song that has bonded the C.A.T squad…" Carina briefly pauses looking unsure of herself. "…through the good times and bad times. Now 3 of us instead of 4. Look, I'm not a great singer like you or Sarah."
"If that song has meaning to all 3 of you, the way it's sung won't matter. Tap into and open up a place that you've never really been before."
"Where?"
"Your heart and soul?" he pointed out, point to the area of her chest.
As corny as that sounds, Carina lets sink in what Chuck shared with her and knows that she should try to make things right even if it means completely embarrassing herself. After giving a nod that she'll go for it, a female voice is heard from out in the crowd.
"Any time now!"
Although they can't see who it is, Chuck clearly knows who it is and as much as he wants to respond to the hospital's head nurse, Alex Forrest, he ignores her. The crowd itself being informed beforehand that Carina would be making an apology and make things right by performing a song. Speaking of the red head, the youngest Bartowski sibling locks eyes with her and speaks up again.
"You can do this, Carina." he said, with positive reassurance.
"It will sound karaoke-ish."
"Then let it sound like that. It doesn't have to be perfect." Chuck retorted back. "If you want, it helps to imagine everybody in the crowd naked."
"If that doesn't help…" chimed in Jeff, leaning in with a soft, whispered tone to his voice. "…go ahead and imagine me naked." he added, throwing that particular suggestion out there for Carina to consider.
"That would be a punishment, Jeffrey." Lester interjected. His attention then directed to Carina. "Also, it would potentially scar her for life. I know it did for me." he added, expressing a reflective, traumatic look on his face.
In response, Jeff shrugs his shoulders then leans back in his stool leading Carina to just stand there briefly scanning the crowd. The 4 individuals in the middle of the dance floor. All eyes on them or in this particular case on her. The one saving grace is that even though they can see her, she can't see them since it's somewhat dark. For Carina, on any other occasion she'd soak up all the attention she's getting, but it's an entirely different situation altogether. She snaps out of her thoughts when she hears the sound of Chuck's voice over the mic.
"Hey guys, this song is called "More Than Words" by the band Extreme. So, before singing it Carina would like to say something." he announced, glancing over his right shoulder then steps aside for to have the floor.
There is absolute silence as Carina approaches the mic and begins scanning the somewhat dark room. Although it's dark, she can still faintly make out the faces of people who she feels are judging her until her focus lands on Sarah and Zondra. The two other C.A.T squad members showing support and encouragement for her, which seemingly gives her the courage to forge on. After taking a deep breathe, she takes a moment to address the crowd, but more importantly talk to her girls.
"I wanted to make tonight memorable for Sarah, but instead I embarrassed her. It's something that I did a lot back then, but thing is she never gave up on me or the friendship we shared. Trust me, the stories I could tell, but I won't. Anyways, I don't always say it, but my friendship with Sarah and Zondra mean more to me than they'll ever know. "Kocham cię." she said, then blowing a kiss to her two besties. A word or phrase that the 2 women seemingly understand after directing it towards them. Afterwards, Carina glances at Chuck who signals Jeffster to start playing their acoustic guitars.
As the melody starts to play in perfect unison for Jeffster, Carina would be one to start of the song instead of Chuck.
Saying "I love you"
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy
It would be to show me how you feel
More than words
Is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say
That you love me
'Cause I'd already know
For Carina, she started off shaky and bit unsure of herself but after Chuck joined her the look of uncertainly, as well as initial fear she felt during her performance gradually subsided. It's replaced with a soft smile and considerable confidence in treating it as if she's actually singing karaoke. Of course, with that mindset her body language is less stiff and more loose allowing her to have fun. Afterwards, she then zeroed in on her 2-gal pals leading her to gradually feel the rhythm of the song to where she would be able to get into that seemingly comfortable pocket before reaching the next set of lyrics.
What would you do
If my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say
If I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying "I love you"
After Carina sings those 3 words with such heartfelt meaning, she then points to them inevitably showing the heart shape with her hands towards Sarah and Carina. In response, the two women can't help but express their love back to her in the same way she did causing the red headed vixen to become visibly emotional. For her, it's something that's considered to be a real emotion and not to mention a whole new experience for her even though she has sung this song before, but in an overly intoxicated state. In that moment, she takes into consideration what Chuck previously mentioned to her before about tapping into a place that she's never really been before.
La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
More than words
La di da, da di da
It's then the sound of the simultaneous double knock on the guitars by Jeffster is heard, signaling Carina to start the next set of lyrics. As she does, the party/even planner starts noticing something. That something is a small glow of illumination and after a few seconds she would soon make out what it is…iPhone lights. As she continues on with the performance, another iPhone lights pop up and then another can be seen. It wouldn't be just iPhone lights as she would suddenly see lighters in the air as well. From her perspective, just seeing both being waved back and forth in a concert style atmosphere caused her to express a smile of surprised amazement that's clearly seen by everyone.
Now I've tried to
Talk to you and make you understand
All you have to do is close your eyes
And just reach out your hands
And touch me
Hold me close
Don't ever let me go
Before reaching the next set of lyrics, Carina takes the mic from the mic stand and begins walking towards her two C.A.T. squad gal pals. Once she reaches Sarah and Zondra, she reaches down and takes their hands in order to lead them towards to where she was previously standing. It wouldn't be long before all 3 women are standing together and when it comes to Chuck, he simply steps back to let them have their moment together. However, before he does, he places the mic on the mic stand then gives it to Zondra. The nerd ends up standing by Lester as he, along with his much older cohort, strum their guitars and vocalize on some parts of the song. While doing so, the ladies commence singer as trio.
More than words
Is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldn't have to say
That you love me
'Cause I'd already know
What would you do
If my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say
If I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
More than words
La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
More than words
La di da, da di da
La di da, da di da, more than words
La di da, da di da, di dai dai da
La di da, da di da,
More than words
(oh uh uh uh)
More than words
More than words
By the end of the song, all 3 women are considerably emotional to the point where they let the tears flow. What initially started out as a solo performance would end with the 3 women hugging each other and professing their love for another, which the crowd could hear from the mic in Sarah's hand. Speaking of the crowd, they show appreciation of the performance that was just given by clapping and expressing their enjoyment by cheering, as well as whistling. It would lead the 3 women to turn to the crowd to take their respective bows with Sarah and Zondra taking a step back in order to acknowledge Carina's performance.
For the first time in her life, Carina feels like she's opened a part of herself that nobody, except her 2-sorority sister have seen. It begs the question; will she open herself more or continue to have the reputation of troublemaker? However, it's a question that's shelved for later for Chuck as he proudly watches the 3 women in front of him establish a much stronger bond with one another with a rendition of an 80's ballad. A ballad that has significant meaning that truly connects the 3 members of the C.A.T squad, especially for the red headed vixen.

The rest of Sarahs dirty thirty themed birthday party went smoothly as everybody had an awesome time, especially after the genuine, performance that was given by Carina. Soon after the birthday cake arrived. Although the oldest Walker sibling wasn't too thrilled about listening to the traditional and not to mention corny birthday song, she grinned and bared it. Afterwards, the birthday cake was served then the moment came to open her birthday presents. Of course, when it came to her aforementioned presents, they certainly represented who she is with a number of them relating to Harry Potter while other gifts consisted of clothes, handbags, perfumes, lotions, gift cards, etc. When it came to opening a rather large gift, Sarah reads who it was from...Zondra.
"Wow?" responded Sarah, with astonishment after tearing the gift open. "It's beautiful, Z!"
In that instance, she turns it around so that everyone can see the gift that was given to her from the professional photographer Zondra. The gift in questions is a framed photo that she took at Bash At The Bench when she and Chuck were singing together. To be more exact, it's 4 small individual photos placed in the corners with main photo showing the couple holding hands right at center stage. The breathtakingly surprised expression on Sarah's face made it all that more meaningful since her blonde counterpart was the one who encouraged her to keep at it when she doubted herself and her abilities back in college.
"My pleasure." she nodded, with appreciation.
Unfortunately, that moment for her would be interrupted by Carina leaning over and whispering over to her. "Mine was more memorable."
Zondra ignores her red headed sorority sister and focuses on the next gift that Sarah would be receiving. A gift that she and everyone sees coming from her nerdy boyfriend who is now standing right next to her, which causes her to be instinctively ready to snap another captured moment once again.
"When I found out it was your birthday, I immediately knew what I was going to giving you. It's special." he shared, expressing his toothy smile towards her.
It's at that point, Chuck retrieves the small black draw string bag that Ellie gave to him earlier in the evening. In doing so, a sudden murmur of curiosity is sparked amongst the birthday attendees gathered around to see what gift is in the bag that Chuck is giving to her. They would soon find out as Chuck reaches into said bag and takes out the contents, causing Sarah to momentarily speechless.
"Oh...Chuck. It's a beautiful bracelet." she softly responded. The blonde is in absolute disbelief as she gazes at the seemingly expensive jewelry dangling between Chuck's fingers.
Chuck is momentarily silent as all the nerves that eventually led up to him standing in front of her subside. After taking a deep breath, he shares the significance of the bracelet to the birthday girl. "It's good luck. It was Mom's charm bracelet." By that point, Sarah already has her arm up. More importantly, her right wrist up as her nerdy boyfriend unclasps the bracelet and continues speaking. "My dad gave it to her when Ellie was born." he shared, adorning the family heirloom around her right wrist.
Speaking of the oldest Bartowski sibling, she is visibly emotional while watching what's folding right in front of her eyes. Her husband Devon left arm comforting his wife while holding their daughter in his arm. She's not the only one as Alex is wiping away some tears while documenting the whole thing on video. As for Sarah's mom, Emma, she incredibly touched by the beautiful gift that her daughter is receiving from her future son-in-law. Meanwhile, Molly is documenting the whole thing on video as well after she begrudgingly deleted the video of her sister being grinded on by the male strippers. As a matter of fact, everyone pretty much reacted the same way with the exception of Emmitt who didn't look all that impressed with Chuck's gift.
"I don't know what to say." she breathlessly retorted. "You didn't have to do this."
"I know." Chuck softly replied. A matching grin expressed towards her. His right hand still holding the hand or in this case wrist that's adorning his mother's bracelet. The nerd's right thumb brushing softly over the top of her right hand as he locks eyes with the woman he loves. "I love you." he declared, in front of everyone to hear.
The atmosphere and energy suddenly livens up after Chuck said out loud those three words to Sarah. For the first time, those that have been privileged enough to witness their relationship blossom from the very beginning are overly ecstatic for the two of them making an official declaration by professing his love to the Chief Operating Officer of Westside Medical Center. The nerd's announcement has everyone quickly turning their attention to Sarah in order to see how she'd respond. Fortunately, they wouldn't have to wait long.
"I love you, too!" Sarah leaps forward, wrapping her arms around Chuck's neck. Her lips pressing against his with love and passion behind them.
A momentous celebration erupts in joyous applause, high fives, and wolf whistles for the couple who officially professes their love for one another in front of their friends, family, and one co-worker that practically everybody ignored. Of course, Zondra documented the moment by snapping pictures while everyone else is still buzzing and mesmerized by Chuck's gift to Sarah, which is considered to be another cherished memento considered absolutely priceless. Speaking of Sarah, while continuing to hug Chuck she is suddenly reminded of the conversation she had with Bryce about him being given a chance to talk to him. For her, she knows it's a sore and touchy subject that she'll have to bring up tomorrow. Now, she's simply sinking into the soothing hug with her nerdy boyfriend and enjoying a moment that she hopes never ends between the two of them.

NOTE: Kocham cię is "I Love You" in Polish. Anyways, so what do you think? I know in the series Sarah mentions something about how she got Carina out of a situation in Pakistan in Vs. The Wookie. So I gave my version of what happened. In any case, share your thoughts and hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. Trust me when I ay there will be a couple of appearance soon that will cause turmoil. I'll just leave it at that. As always, a tip of the hat to NEVR for doing the beta!
