Chuck vs. The Courtyard Bench

Well, in the previous chapter: Jill unexpectedly arrived causing a bit of chaos with Alex diving because she doesn't want to be seen. Why? It would have blown the chance for the special project to work. The conversation between Chuck and Jill in the courtyard would go from cordial to heated as Jill brought up the kids at the hospital and referred to them as charity cases, which he took offense. Meanwhile, inside Casa Woodcomb conversations about Ferris Beuhler, popcorn, and having Clara be taught to use her words instead of physical violence from her parents. As for Molly, she ends up interrupting the conversation betwee Chuck and Jill after she takes it upon herself to cause a distraction so that Morgan can relay the message that Carina and Zondra were able to procure the special package. One of the things that needed to happen was to have Jill at Bash At The Bench. So, Chuck informed her to bring her check book and donate. If she does, then things between them with and the past they shared will be put to rest. So, what happens in this chapter? Here are the who, what, where, when, why, how's? Who does Chuck compare himself as he talks with Sarah about Cole's actions? What did Sarah share with Chuck about her relationship with Cole? Where did Chuck feel he was going after all he had been through with Jill? When does Chuck finally look at the file that he hacked that was download on a disc? Why does Bryce want someone he's talking to be the complete opposite of himself? How does Chuck react after finally listening and watching the disc that Bryce wanted him to hack from his phone? Cursed Ships and Terrible Troll

XXX

It was 12:45 p.m. and Chuck sat in his office at Kessel Run Technologies. He wasn't working on anything. For the past 20 minutes, he'd been leaning back in his chair and staring at his computer while periodically tapping the edge of his computer keyboard with his fingertips. His mind was preoccupied from not only what happened last night, but the conversation that he had with Sarah afterwards. He knew she wanted to talk, and they headed out to the terrace for a more private conversation, but they were distracted by Jill's arrival.

After the intense confrontation she had with her ex, he and Sarah got the chance to speak with each other, but this time by the courtyard fountain. Both of them took a seat on the ledge provided and after they did, he recalled it was a bit awkward at first for her. However, she pushed through her nervousness knowing the promise made of no secret or lies between the two of them. Fortunately for her, she had nothing to be nervous about as he sat there and recalled the conversation she had with Cole in her office.

"Cole's a self-absorbed douche," Chuck said, shaking his head. "Shows how much of a massive ego he has by telling you that you're still in love with him." He shook his head and chuckled with amusement. The nerd momentarily paused before he added something else. "You're not, right?"

Sarah briefly stared at Chuck with disbelief. "Of course not. I'm in love with you," She reached over, and playfully slapped her boyfriend on the side of his head. "You nerdy dork! My nerd. My Chuck," Sarah softly added, with an equally soft smile.

Chuck expressed his trademark toothy smile afterwards. A few seconds later, he saw there was more on Sarah's mind. "There's more. What else did he say to you?"

The oldest Walker daughter briefly turned her head to the right to face Chuck before she faced forward and focused down on the ground. "He didn't say outright, but he said I was practically used as bait to hook in potential clients at high profile events."

"What a shithead." angrily blurted out Chuck.

"I so agree with you, babe," Sarah responded, shaking her head. "When I heard that I wanted to rip his head off."

"Did you?"

"I wanted to, but…"

"You didn't want to get suspended again."

Sarah nodded. "I don't want to put the hospital in a bad light with another potential lawsuit on their hands. Cole wants that."

"I wouldn't put it past him," acknowledged Chuck.

The nerd recalled how Sarah wanted to be cautious in how she handled Cole because of how he attempted to goad her into an altercation. In other words, he knew how to push Sarah's buttons. The reason she wanted to be cautious was that she started to get into a rhythm to the point where she gradually felt right at home within her new surroundings. Also, if anything or anyone jeopardized that feeling they'd be in a world of hurt, he thought to himself.

"Westside Medical Center," Sarah paused. "More importantly, Chief Beckman has given me so much and opened up so many new, as well as exciting opportunities for my future here. I'm truly thankful for her accepting me into the family knowing my past history at Langley and with my former boss, Director Graham."

"I'm glad you didn't decline the job offer," Chuck retorted. "Although, we were destined to meet somewhere down the road, in a Sliding Doors sort of way. That's what I told Dr. Dreyfus." After he said that, Chuck's eyes widened and reached up to cover his mouth.

"What? What's wrong?" asked Sarah, with concern.

"I made the mistake of revealing something that shouldn't be revealed, especially with another patient of his." The look of horror and regret expressed in his eyes.

Sarah took a step forward and then placed her hands on his chest. She then peered up at him. "You're fine. I wouldn't freak out about it."

"Are you sure? I don't want to end up getting busted by the therapist police?"

"Therapist police?" Sarah chuckled with amusement then reached up to rake the fingers of her right hands through his hair. "What goes on in that nerdy head of yours Chuck Bartowski." she softly inquired.

For Chuck, that moment where Sarah raked her fingers through his hair felt absolutely euphoric. So euphoric in fact, that his eyes would have rolled to the back of his head, but they didn't. In any case, he took a deep comfortably relaxing breath then spoke up once again. "Did Cole say anything else to you?"

"He said," Sarah paused briefly. "…he said there's no adventure here. At Westside Medical or with you."

It took a moment for Chuck to let what Sarah shared sink in regarding Cole's comment about not experiencing adventure in her life, especially with him. He shrugged his shoulders and then responded. "I get it," He reached across Sarah and placed his left over both her hands that were placed on her lap. "I'm no Jack Sparrow or even look like him. I don't even look like Johnny Depp for that matter."

"Chuck, stop."

Unfortunately, Chuck didn't hear his girlfriend as he started on another one of his ramblings. This time it's about one of the most iconic Johnny Depp characters he's portrayed when it comes to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. "Although, I can do a mean girlish scream like Jack Sparrow. It's not exactly…"

He didn't get to finish what he was going to say because he suddenly got shoulder bumped by the woman sitting next to him. "Hey, focus."

"Sorry." In response, Sarah shook head and expressed a soft chuckle. Chuck then continued on. "Listen, I know I can't ever compete with Cole's looks or his manly chiseled chin…"

Instantly, Sarah reached up and softly placed her right hand on Chuck's right cheek. "And I don't want you too. You're a far better man than he'll ever be."

"What about the adventure part?" wondered Chuck. He then pushed himself up into a standing position and away from the comforting touch of Sarah's hand. He took a few steps forward and shook his head. Afterwards, he turned around and expressed a look of disappointment on his face. "You said he brought up all the adventurous trips you shared together. You practically went all around the world with him. What do I have to show, except taking you on a 45-minute drive to Santa Clarita to spend time with Michael Bublé," he shared. The sound of disappointment in his voice matched the expression on his face.

There was a moment of silence shared between the two of them before he saw Sarah push herself up into a standing position. Afterwards, she walked over towards and then stood right in front of him.

"There's one thing that you have that Cole doesn't," she said, peering up at him. The nerdy couple were bathed under the courtyard complex lighting. "And it's right here," Sarah added. She reached up and touched the area of his chest with the palm of her hand. "Your heart."

"When you opened up your heart to me, you never realized how big of an adventure you've taken me on."

"Really?"

Sarah nodded. "It's true he has physically taken me to places that have been absolutely memorable and adventurous for us. Money was not a problem for him. He had the finances to make my travel dreams come true," she shared. "However, I felt like I was doomed to experience cursed relationships." Chuck's eyes widened after he heard that.

XXX

"Cursed? In what way?" he wondered, with immense curiosity.

"You mentioned Jack Sparrow earlier." Chuck nodded. Sarah took and step back and then continued on. "In the 1st Pirates movie, we found out that the crew of the Black Pearl were doomed to live forever as undead living skeletons. The moonlight revealed that to Elizabeth and Will when they were all in the cave filled with a tremendous amount of treasure." she shared, knowing her nerdy boyfriend knew this as well. "Something like that."

It took a brief moment for Chuck to wrap his head around what Sarah shared with him. A few seconds later, he responded. "I think I know where you're going with this. Cursed relationships that involved your father, Amy, and Cole. How you felt dead inside and condemned to roam the high seas of your own thoughts, feelings, and emotions?"

"Exactly," Sarah acknowledged, pointing at Chuck. "How…"

"I roamed those same seas too," Chuck retorted. "However, I saw myself on the Flying Dutchman and in the movie its sole purpose was to ferry the souls of drowned seamen into the afterlife. Of course, Will Turner had only one day to spend on shore before spending 10 years at sea."

'In a way, we were two ships that eventually were going to cross paths with one another."

Chuck nodded. "Only thing was, I was dead set on living a life of emotional exile. To never step foot on any sort of solid ground into the possibility of falling in love ever again," he added, shrugging his shoulders. "Emotionally distancing myself from," Chuck pauses before he continued on. "Well, me. Burying part of myself and never really believing that I was going to dig it back up."

"I was the same way. I guess we both buried part of ourselves in our own quintessential dead man's chest,." she softly pointed out. Chuck expressed a soft chuckle of his own after he heard that. "What? What is it?"

"Morgan said that very same thing," he retorted, shaking his head.

"I actually credit the dead man's chest reference to Ellie." Chuck squinted his eyes a bit and it led Sarah to further explain. "It was when she and I had dinner at C3 together before our awesome non-date,." she shared. It took a second before Chuck got what she was talking about. Sarah continued on. "Anyways, it wasn't until we met each other we, in a way, helped one another dig out something you and I thought would be buried for a long time."

"Our hearts," softly smiled Chuck. "It sounds so corny saying it loud." Chuck shook his head then slightly shrugged his shoulders out of embarrassment afterwards.

Sarah took a satisfying deep breath while she peered up at Chuck with a contented smile on her face. "I'd rather hear corny right now," she said, stepping forward and wrapping her arms around Chuck. After momentarily squeezing her nerdy boyfriend in a comforting tight embrace, she continued speaking. "Especially after Cole tried to kiss me."

Chuck's eyes suddenly widened after hearing that. He placed both hands on either side of Sarah's arms and moved her back a bit to lock eyes with her. "He did what?"

"Don't worry. He never got the chance," she shared, with reassurance. "And it would have ended up bad for him."

"How bad?" inquired Chuck.

"Lorena Bobbitt bad," answered Sarah. "But with a letter opener instead of a knife." Chuck felt her comforting tight embrace once again and after a few seconds he heard her speak up. "Remember when I said when you opened up your heart to me, you never realized how big of an adventure you've taken me on?"

"Yeah."

"It's true. I've discovered places within my heart that I never explored before because I was too afraid of finding out or seeing the truth for myself."

"What truth would that be?" Chuck inquired, with keen interest.

"I wasn't actually happy in my relationship with Cole," she answered. "Sure, I looked like it on the outside, and every woman at Langley was jealous and envious with all the gifts, as well as trips, I was showered with by him. But…"

"But…"

"On the inside I was yearning for something more."

"What was it?"

"Respect mostly," she answered. "I didn't respect myself and wasn't given any when I knew I wasn't being treated the way I wanted to be treated by Cole. I wanted to leave but was incapable of it because of the mental curse that was seemingly forever placed on me by Jack."

"Sort of like the crew of the Flying Dutchman," shared Chuck. "One day ashore before spending 10 years at sea," he added.

Sarah nodded. "What I'm trying to say is," Chuck felt her tight embrace she had on him. He saw her lean back and then softly peered up with a soft smile. "You've given me the adventure of a lifetime in the past several months, more than the few years I've spent with Cole."

"Sarah…"

"Chuck, shut up and just listen,." requested Sarah, in a pleading manner. Chuck complied with a couple of nods. "Do you remember the scene where Elizabeth got marooned on an island with Jack by Barbossa?"

"Of course. The legendary story goes that he escaped by way of harnessing sea turtles. Elizabeth learned that Jack was actually there for only 3 days and survived on countless bottles of rum. He bargained his way on to a merchant ship and off the island using those bottles of rum. Unfortunately, after telling her that, the rum was used to build a huge fire to get them off the island, which was considered horrific to Jack."

"In a sense, that's how I felt with Cole. Stuck on an island with no rum and trying to survive not just mentally, but emotionally as well."

"Just to be clear," Chuck spoke up, with curiosity. "Am I the merchant ship or the bottles of rum?"

"Neither."

"Now I'm confused," he retorted, throwing both his hands.

Chuck heard a soft snicker from Sarah. "All you need to know is that the compass in my heart will always point to what I most want and that is you, Chuck." Chuck expressed his trademark toothy smile as Sarah continued on. "Whatever adventures that are in store for the both of us, we'll set sail on them together."

Chuck's thoughts are suddenly interrupted by the sound of a knock on his office door. The next thing he heard was the voice of the person who knocked.

"Hey, working hard or hardly working?"

"A bit of both," Chuck retorted, expressing a faint chuckle afterwards.

"Are you free for lunch?"

"For you," Chuck shot a smile towards Sarah. "Always," he added, pushing himself into a standing position.

"I hope you don't mind, I invited Morgan and Kathleen."

"I don't mind," Chuck responded.

He slid over to his left and was about to make his way around when he suddenly stopped. When he did, Morgan and Kathleen appeared in Chuck's open doorway behind Sarah. Speaking of Sarah, she expressed a look of curiosity on her face.

"Chuck?"

"Listen, before we go, I need to take a look at something."

"We're in no rush," Kathleen said.

"Look at what, dude?" wondered Morgan, stepping out from behind Sarah.

The nerdy business owner peers down to his right. Afterwards, he reaches for and opens the nearest top drawer on his office desk. A few seconds later, he picks up something and holds it in front of him in his right hand for Sarah, Kathleen and Morgan to see.

"Bryce's file that I hacked from his phone," Chuck shared, holding up the disc.

XXX

After sharing what Chuck wanted to do, all 4 individuals reconvened in the conference room of Kessel Run Technologies. It took a moment to get things set up before the nerdy business owner found the file in question. However, before he clicked on it, he stood there staring at the flatscreen as if he second guessed his decision to actually do it. It was at that point Sarah spoke up with concern in her voice.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Chuck?" she asked, standing right next to him.

"Yeah, dude," chimed in Morgan. "You already know the truth about Jill."

"That she's a succubus bitch," Sarah stated.

"That too," Morgan acknowledged, pointing over to Sarah.

"I think," Kathleen interjected, getting the other 3 individual's attention. "What Morgan and Sarah are trying to say is you finally have closure. Why look back at the past again, especially from Bryce's point of view?" she firmly added.

That's a perfectly good question. For the youngest Bartowksi sibling, he knows there are 3 sides to every story. Jill's side and the truth. He already knows Jill's side and the truth. So, the next logical step for him to do is just leave Bryce's side well enough alone because he basically encouraged him to seek the truth from the file that he hacked from his phone. What neither of them counted on was Jill showing up causing an epic collision of worlds that he never expected to happen, he thought to himself. Now, after all these years he potentially had the truth sitting in his closet but never really watched it. In his mind, it could have saved him the trouble if he did and all the emotional, as well as mental, turmoil he went through could have been avoided,

"I know you're all concerned," Chuck said, acknowledging the concerns of Sarah, Morgan, and Kathleen. "But I actually want…" He paused to correct himself. "I need to do this. Besides, it won't change my mind about Jill, if that's what you're all thinking."

"That's awesome to know," Morgan responded.

There's a brief moment of silence within the conference room before it was interrupted by Sarah.

"Hey," the blonde softly said. "Do what you got to do. We've got your back," she firmly nodded.

Chuck glanced over to the other side of the conference table where Morgan and Kathleen nodded as well. Afterwards, Chuck slid the mouse arrow on top of the file marked with the following word he's very familiar with: ZORK.

After he clicked on it, all 4 individuals briefly waited before the following words appeared on the flatscreen: The Terrible Troll Raises Its Sword

After Kathleen repeated those 6 words, she asked a pertinent question, "Is this some kind of game?"

"Tech based video game actually."

"You told me you and Bryce programmed your own version of it back in Stanford," Morgan noted.

"Yep. We used a TRS80." Chuck nodded. "After the whole Jill situation, we never spoke again. I ended up finishing up Zork with you, buddy."

"And it certainly made a hefty profit for Kessel Run Technologies." Morgan smiled proudly.

Sarah immediately interjected, "I know you guys are nerding out and all but…" She then pointed to the 6 words on screen.

Chuck's toothy smile quickly fell flat and returned his attention back on the flatscreen. He then peered down at the wireless computer keyboard that was placed on the conference table. A few seconds later, he stares at a video with the aforementioned 6 words on the screen. He then squinted his eyes. "What was in my hero's satchel?" he faintly breathed out.

"Hero's satchel?" asked Kathleen quizzically.

"The weapons I used to kill the terrible troll."

"Ah," responded Alex's mother. Her eyebrows were raised knowing she's not that knowledgeable when it comes to computer games or any kind of technology-based games in general. A look of confusion is expressed on her face as she turns to Sarah for any sort of help, but she witnessed the blonde trying to stifle an amused snicker. Her attention would subsequently be broken when she heard what sounded like Chuck suddenly remembering something.

"Attack the troll with nasty knife."

After he pressed enter, the screen suddenly flashed sporadic images then immediately faded to black. All 4 individuals turned to look at each other with a plethora of mixed facial expressions. The first person who spoke up was Kathleen.

"That was weird."

"You took the words right out of my mouth, Ms. K," Morgan said, considerably bewildered.

A brief moment later, all 4 individuals started to hear something then eventually see Bryce on screen. From their perspective, it looked like Bryce, but after watching the footage a bit more they noticed he was standing in front of a mirror. More importantly, the way it was shot caused Chuck to shake his head as he zeroed in what his former best friend and Stanford roommate was wearing on his face. He immediately recalled the conversation in his hospital room and how he was helping out a friend to beta test them.

All 4 individuals didn't have to wait long as they heard Bryce speaking into the mirror as if he was speaking to the one person who he believed was hopefully going to listen…Chuck.

"If you're watching this, then I know at least a small part of you wants to know if I'm actually telling the truth. I know you'll hate me for what I'm going to do, but if hating me for the rest of my life is the only option then that's the way it has to be."

After he heard that, Chuck paused the video and shook his head. "I was right," he breathed out.

"Right about what?" Sarah inquired.

Chuck doesn't respond right away as he stood there for a moment as he stared at the still image of Bryce on the flatscreen. A few seconds later, he stepped forward and then turned around in order to face Sarah, Morgan and Kathleen.

"He took the bullet knowing what was at stake," he said, shaking his head.

XXX

For the past 15 minutes, all 4 individuals sat, listened and watched as Bryce not only spoke to the camera, but watched numerous footage from his point of view as he interacted with a number of individuals. The two main individuals that he interacted with were Chuck and Jill. They all watched from Bryce's point of view him doing such things as stumbling on Chuck planting hidden cameras in the hallways of his fellow frat brother's rooms. A few moments of uninteresting conversations later between Bryce, Chuck and/or Jill it led to a conversation about Allan Watterman that involved Bryce and Jill during their Junior year at Stanford evident from the time stamp and year of the footage.

"I know that look."

"What look?"

"Damn it, Jill. Don't break Chuck's heart. He's an awesome guy and you just started dating him."

"Chuck is an awesome guy. He's sweet, thoughtful, kind…"

"And the total opposite of the guys you're usually into." Bryce shakes his head. "What's the guy's name?"

"Allan Watterman."

"The new guy who enrolled. He's the son of Eric Watterman. Software millionaire and major financial contributor to Stanford."

"How do you know?"

"I'm dating the personal assistant to the Dean of college admissions. That's how I know."

"Of course," chuckled Jill. "Bryce Larkin. The guy who seems to always know what's going on around campus. Now I know."

"And knowing is half the battle." he jokingly remarked back. "Listen, I see those gears turning in your head, Jill. If you do this, there's no turning back. Just do me this one favor and think about it. You're messing up a sure thing with Chuck."

"Watterman is a sure thing. He's loaded and can solve all my money problems."

"His father is loaded," reiterated Bryce.

Jill shrugged his shoulders. "Money is money no matter who I get it from."

Bryce sighed in disbelief and then shook his head. "You promised me you were going to take your relationship with Chuck seriously."

"Why are you so hung on me and my relationship with Chuck?"

"Chuck is my best friend," he replied back. "He's had a tough life and we both share similar childhoods. Parents not around. Plus, I genuinely want to see him happy."

"Why don't you date him then!?"

"Come on, Jill. I know you've never met anyone like Chuck. If you give him a chance, you'll experience something completely different instead of always experiencing the same heartache, frustration, and disappointment from the guys you've usually dated."

Jill momentarily silent. "Fine." she moaned.

All 4 individuals sat there in disbelief at what they listened to and watched for the next 10 minutes of timeline footage. They continued to watch and listen as conversations between Bryce and Jill inevitably moved to another conversation that also involved Bryce. This time, the conversation was between Bryce and Allan Watterman a couple months into Junior year of college. The location was the Stanford track and field area.

"Hey Larkin, can we talk?"

"I'm busy."

"This will only take a second."

"No thanks."

"I'll make it worth your while."

"What? You're going to offer me money?"

"Well…"

"Just say it and get it over with. I've got to meet Chuck in the quad in 10 minutes."

"I still don't know why you hang out with him."

"Because we're actually friends and share things in common," answered Bryce. "Unlike you, where I don't have people only hanging around me because I throw money around like candy or Mardi gras beads."

"And that's a bad thing?"

"Say what you got to say or I'm walking, Watterman."

"I know you're considered the big man on Campus. You've built up a reputation for yourself, especially with the ladies. I heard you're the guy who gets all the great girls."

"Okay," responded Bryce. "I can say the same for you. You've built up a reputation around campus with the ladies as well."

"What? That I'm charming?"

"No," responded Bryce, shaking his head. "That you're an asshole." Watterman simply nodded and acknowledged that fact.

"Let me guess, since your reputation has spread around campus you want me to put in a good word for you?"

"I'd owe you big time," retorted Watterman. "And you know I'm good for it."

The footage cuts back to Bryce looking into the mirror again and speaking to his best friend.

"I was about to walk away and start track practice because I wanted to avoid talking to that asshole. However, I ended up helping him with his lack of female companionship by playing up the fact that Jill was about to be single. He knew that Jill and Chuck were dating, but really didn't pursue her. Just flirtatious exchanges between the two of them, which I knew was happening thanks to some trusted sources. Jill has certain tells that she can hide no matter how hard she tries. Listen, I know what you're thinking, but it was the only way for my plan to work."

After Bryce said that the video resumed with Bryce continuing to talk with Watterman.

"Here's the deal. All I need you to do is be the complete opposite of yourself. You know, not the asshole."

"What's the complete opposite of me being an asshole?"

"Chuck Bartowski." Bryce answered.

"Seriously!?" Chuck spouted off, throwing up his hands. "Why?" he added.

Sarah reached over and placed her hand on top his right forearm in a comforting way. Morgan and Kathleen couldn't help but faintly snicker after hearing that. All 4 individuals eventually turned their attention back to the flatscreen when they heard Bryce's voice again.

"Sorry dude. I had to say it for Watterman's benefit. Besides, my advice worked, and it totally turned her off of that asshole. The next part of my plan was to get into Jill's ear to where there were seeds planted that would lead to problems between you and Jill. It worked and…"

All 4 individuals continued to sit there and watched numerous videos pieced together from Bryce's viewpoint from Jill confiding in him to receiving texts and phone calls from her. Most of the footage they watched and listened to was about not only having doubts about her relationship with Chuck, but there was also resentment towards him as well. The nerd would learn a sobering truth that Jill reconsidered breaking up with Chuck because she saw him as a way of getting out of the financial hole she put herself in. It was a surprisingly shocking revelation for not just everybody sitting in the conference room, but for Bryce as well.

The footage would eventually show the moment where Bryce and Jill hooked up in the room they shared as roommates. That's where the video ended up being paused by Chuck. He sat there silent for a moment letting all he watched and listened to sink in. It was an awkward silence for Sarah, Morgan, and Kathleen because they didn't know what to really say or do for that matter. Fortunately for them, Chuck pushed himself into a standing position, stepped forward, then turned around and faced all 3 individuals.

"Thanks guys. I think I can finally have the closure that I wanted for so long." he said, expressing grateful appreciation in the tone of his voice. Afterwards, he breathed out a sense of comforting relief.

"That's awesome to hear, dude." Morgan responded, standing up.

"I'm glad you're able to move on from this, Chuck." Kathleen smiled, standing up as well.

"Let's get some lunch to celebrate. My treat," Sarah happily shared. She reached down, intertwining her hands with her nerdy boyfriends.

Morgan's face practically lit up after hearing that. "That's music to my ears."

The bearded best friend of Chuck Bartowski didn't waste any time and zipped out of the conference room within a blink of an eye. Kathleen would follow suit with Chuck and Sarah bringing up the rear out of the conference room. Unbeknownst to Kathleen, Morgan, Sarah and even Chuck himself there would be another conversation happening between the former Stanford roommates. It would be right away though as preparations would be made for Bash At The Bench as the newest Rockstar Rebel will be introduced and not to mention the special project that may or may not turn into the Jerry Springer Show.

NOTE: I wanted Bryce's file reveal to be somewhat similar to what Chuck saw in the series minus going into Professor Fleming's office. Plus, I knew wanted a particular way to access Bryce's file and what better way than use the Terrible troll question that Chuck had to solve. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter and leave a review and share your thoughts. They're considered a motion and incentive to keep on writing. As always, tip of the hat to NEVR for doing the beta! Also, stay tuned as I'm working on the next chapter "A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words" involving Bash At The Bench.
