Chuck vs. The Courtyard Bench

Well, in the previous chapter: Chuck, Sarah, Emma and Molly were on their way to dinner at C3's private dining area where Sarah had her birthday. It was considered a thank you by White for having them as guests at Westside Medical. During the car ride over there, Chuck and Sarah shared that the relationship between Heather and Pollak was fake merely to drum up buzz for the upcoming project they're both starring in. Sarah then pleaded with Molly to be on her best behavior. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and the two siblings got into a brief fight, which was broken up by Emma. In any case, they weren't the only ones at the dinner as Chief Beckman attended with her date, Roan Montgomery. Heather was there with Mark and Pollak came solo. During the dinner, Roan share with his fellow dinner guests how he and Beckman first met. Moments later, Sarah found Chuck in the atrium thinking about loud. This was where the nerdy couple had another heart to heart. It would also lead Chuck to contact Longshore. For what reason is an unknown. So what happens in this chapter? Here are the who, what, where, when, why, how's? Who does Chuck compare Team Bartowski to when it comes to certain Lord of the Rings characters? What does Chuck say as a joke to Molly when she gets compared to a particular dwarf. Where does the director of the project that Chuck accidentally bumped into say that he and White got together? When did the character's Katrina and Brody meet? Why does Chuck suddenly stand up and interrupt the rehearsal between Heather and Pollak? How does Casey believe he'll be able to Bennett, especially after taking with Dr. Howard Busgang? Read and find out! I hope you enjoy the read and leave a comment to share your own thoughts on this particular chapters. As always, reviews are awesome.

Again, if you enjoyed reading my stories and left a comment, I truly appreciate it. Please continue to do so as it gives me the incentive to write more chapters.

It was a Saturday afternoon when Chuck, Sarah, Molly, and Emma arrived at Five Elder Studios. Thankfully, there weren't any problems whatsoever for the 4 individuals when they checked in with security at the studio's front gate. After they received a parking pass and their VIP guest passes from security left for them by White, the foursome was told the executive producer was notified that they'll be at the main studio shortly. Security provided directions and a map of the studio just in case they got lost. After thanking security, they headed off to their intended location. Of course, it took a while for them to get to the main studio as they drove through and got easily distracted by everything seemingly going on all around them at once.

Each one of the Falcon's occupants were in such awe and disbelief knowing they were in an actual major Hollywood studio where not only movies were made, but television shows as well. Set pieces being moved from one location to another, trolley visitor tour, countless people either in costume, on the phone, or both. The occasional celebrity sighting, even though it was considered a quick glimpse of disbelief, someone in the car experienced stunned and amazed excitement that was certainly captured either in picture or video form. A promise that was made for Morgan and Alex as they lived vicariously through them, knowing they weren't able to make the trip with them.

Fortunately, those aforementioned distractions didn't cause them to get completely turned around and end up absolutely embarrassed because they got lost. Quite the contrary, as the foursome finally arrived just as White emerged out of the main studio office door, which was located right next to a humongous airplane hangar. She was wearing expensive looking sunglasses like an absolute boss. Confidence seemingly oozed off her. In Chuck's mind, the only thing missing was either a fiery Michael Bay explosion set off or a number of doves flying out behind her in the style of John Woo. Both would be awesome, Chuck thought to himself. He shook that particular thought out of his head the Falcon pulled up then parked in a reserved space provided just for them.

She wasn't alone, as Hugo Panzer was right there behind her, as well. A few moments later, White escorted them inside with Panzer bringing up the rear. As they entered inside, White provided them with the history of Five Elder Studios and how it started out with just five founding members of the studios that comprised The Ring. She further shared that it was because of the five founding members naming themselves The Ring, it was only fitting that the studio's logo was one large golden ring with a bright gold starburst encircling the studio's name. Essentially, it gradually became their well-known calling card associated with a sense of mysterious excellence behind it.

White momentarily stopped and turned to face the captivated group who were genuinely enthralled by the rich history of the Five Elder Studios. "It's also considered one of the most financially successful studios not only in the United States, but overseas as well."

"Are any of the founding members still alive?" wondered Sarah.

"Sadly," White shook her hood. Sunglasses no longer adorned on her face. It was lifted up and rested on top of her head, which revealed more of her facial features. She wore a silky white long sleeve top, dark pants, and matching dark heels. Her sleeves rolled up just underneath her elbows. "No. However, there will always be someone sitting in one of the seats, whether it's a family member or a trusted, well-respected proxy. It was part of the deal made years ago by the founding members."

"What if no one fills the seat? Has it happened before?" wondered Emma.

"It has," White answered, then briefly paused. A look of seriousness was expressed all over her face. "However, a solution was worked out." she firmly noted.

"I have a question," Chuck chimed in. "Actually, it's more like an observation really."

"What is it, Chuck?" White responded.

"Were any of the founding members a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien?" Chuck stood there for a moment as White stared at him quizzically. He continued on to break the awkward silence that was shared between the two of them. "It just seems to me the logo for Five Elders Studios was partly inspired by," The nerd hesitated to say it out of pure embarrassment as a nerd, but he did it anyway. He cleared his throat before he spoke up again. "Lord of the Rings?" he pointed out. "All it's really missing are the following words inscribed in Elvish around the inside of the golden ring: One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them."

Afterwards, there was another seemingly long silence before Molly suddenly broke it in her own way. "Nerd." the 13-year-old coughed out.

White cracked a noticeable grin and then spoke up. "As a matter of fact, one of the founders was a big fan of Tolkien. He actually considered Five Elders Studios his peaceful haven and dubbed it his very own Rivendell," shared the executive producer. She stood there a moment briefly silent and then continued on. "In a way, the five founding members were considered a fellowship built on business and friendship."

After White shared that interesting tidbit concerning the five founding members, Chuck thought about his own fellowship. A fellowship built on family and friendship. Of course, growing up he imagined himself as Frodo making Morgan his Samwise Gamgee. In any case, after meeting and falling in love with Sarah, the nerd still considered himself Frodo but also felt like he was Aragorn who found his true love, Arwen. While he stood there momentarily lost in thought, he fixated on the fact that Pippen and Merry were most definitely Jeff and Lester.

Chuck's Lord of the Rings comparisons mentally flowed in his head and wouldn't stop with Hartley as Gandalf, Casey as Eomer, the leader of the riders of Rohan. As for Boromir, the character perfectly represented Bryce. When it came to Ellie and Devon, he immediately thought of two specific elves, King Elrond and Queen Galadriel. For Chuck, he would have continued on and mentally compared Lord of the Ring characters to the people in his life, but he would suddenly be interrupted when the sound of clap snapped him out of his thoughts.

"And that's one of the reasons, props are used instead of real weapons," White noted, as they passed rows of television/movie posters inside the main studio. Each poster hung on either side of the hallway walls that were considered proud achievements of Five Elder Studios.

"I so want to be a stunt woman and handle weapons even though they're fake," stated Molly.

Emma's eyes widened after she heard that and was about to say something, but Chuck interjected before she could. "Calm down, Gimli."

"Who?"

"He's a dwarf who wields an ax."

Molly glared up at Chuck and then pointed to herself. "This girl is no dwarf. Do I even look like a dwarf?"

"Of course not," Chuck retorted, shaking his head. "You don't have a beard." he jokingly remarked back.

In that instance, Sarah chimed in before her nerdy boyfriend got physically and verbally beaten down by a teenager. "You're more like Legalos, brat."

"Is he a cool character?"

"Orlando Bloom plays him in the movie," Sarah pointed out.

Instantly, Molly's eyes lit up. "Will Turner!? I definitely know him from Pirates of the Caribbean."

Chuck is about to say something when Panzer spoke up, much to the surprise of everybody. "Legolas is an elf archer,"

Everybody turned to look White's head of security, Chuck especially. After being informed that his weapon of choice was the short sword, the nerdy business owner wasn't the least bit surprised. What he was surprised about was the fact he knew about and was familiar with a character from Lord of the Rings.

"He's skilled at firing arrows with deadly accurate precision like you are with the comebacks, kid," Panzer further shared.

The 13-year-old was momentarily silent as she locked eyes with Panzer. A few seconds later, Molly broke eye contact with White's head of security and responded. "I like it.," She then turned her attention to White as she pointed to Panzer. "He deserves a raise."

"On that note," uttered White. She then nodded over to Panzer who nodded back to her. "On with the tour," she announced, waving for everybody to follow her. All of them heading into the tremendously large airplane hangar where the series was being shot in.

"This place is awesome," Molly stated, doing a 360 turn. A smile plastered all over her face as they eventually made their way to what appeared to be a film set.

Chuck nodded in agreement. "It sure is, Mol." Unfortunately, he wasn't looking where he was going and accidently bumped into someone who reacted immediately.

"Bloody hell!"

The individual in question turned around, squinted up a bit at Chuck, and then intently glared at the nerd. He had unkempt hair with a scruffy looking beard to match. For the tall, lanky nerd, he was a cross between Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton, if they ever had a love child together. Unfortunately, Chuck didn't get the chance to enjoy what was mentally pictured in his head as the man in question looked rather perturbed, agitated and grumpy sounding man who locked eyes directly at him.

"Who the hell are you twats!?" He stared at Chuck then eventually turned his attention to the other unknown individuals, as well. "All of you? Why are you lot on my set!?"

"Don't mind him. He's a bit temperamental," White briefly locked eyes with the man with a tinge of humor in her. "And British. He's actually a soft teddy bear once you get to know him. A British, soft teddy bear."

The British individual in question rolled his eyes after he heard that. "Did you just refer to me as Paddington?"

White ignored the man standing next to her. Instead, she just introduced the group to the individual in question. "Everyone, the director who signed on for 'We'll Always Have Omaha', She briefly glanced at him and then continued on. "Willoughby Sterling,"

"I know," Chuck prematurely chimed in excitedly. He didn't correct himself and just moved on. "You wrote and directed an awesome movie called The Meadow Branch Initiative. It eventually turned into a television series spin off you produced called The Meadow Branch Files. My best friend, Morgan, and I never missed that show. It was like C.S.I, X-Files and Mission Impossible all rolled into one," the nerd described.

"Glad you two blokes liked it," responded Sterling. "It only lasted a blasted season."

"As a fan of the show, I know my best friend and I wanted a second season." Chuck revealed. "Hell, a lot of the fans did, and more. The support went so far to not only signing a petition for another season, but buying chipotle with extra guacamole," the nerd added.

"Seriously!?" A look of absolute disbelief was expressed on Molly's face.

Chuck turned and directed his attention to the 13-year-old. "It was considered a favorite food and side dip of one of the main characters, Rafe Gruber. It stood out on the show, and it seemed he ate it practically every episode," Chuck further shared.

"Johnny Messner," White uttered. "He's actually part of the cast."

After Chuck heard that, his eyes widened. Don't freak out. The nerd knew Morgan would freak out, as well, especially if he was able to get a picture with him and an autograph not only for him, but also for his bearded best friend. At that moment, he was totally fanboying and someone else could clearly tell. Instead of saying anything, Sarah simply intertwined her right hand with Chuck's left. It certainly calmed him down as he turned his attention to Sarah, and they briefly locked eyes. After a few seconds, he took a deep breath and continued on.

"That's awesome to hear," Chuck nodded. "Anyways, it's been 8 years since it was canceled in 2003 and fans are still hoping for a revival of the series." Chuck returned his attention to Sterling. "It was the same situation with the cult classic series, Firefly, directed by Joss Whedon. The lead actor of the series was Nathan Fillion who portrayed the iconic character, Captain Malcom Reynolds."

"Whenever I've attended a comic con," Sarah uttered, chiming into the conversation. "Mainly to get photo ops, autographs, and memorabilia for anything Harry Potter I've passed his booth countless times. His lines are massively long, which is standard for a celebrity of his caliber," shared the nerdy blonde.

"Then why wait in line?" wondered Molly. "I'd get really bored. What if you needed to go to the bathroom or were hungry?"

"If you went with a friend or a family member, you'd ask him or her to stand in line."

"However," chimed in Chuck. "If you're lucky enough to strike up a conversation and make friends with a fellow comic con attendee who is also cosplaying, he or she will save your spot."

"Still sounds like too much of a hassle to me," the 13-year-old retorted, shaking her head.

"It's totally worth it," the oldest Walker sibling stated. "I honestly didn't know what I was in for when I went for the first time."

"Did Mom go with you?"

"Jack," answered Sarah. "It was for my 16th birthday."

"I recalled he ended up buying you too much Harry Potter stuff," Emma noted, shaking her head.

"He was trying to make up for not being there when I needed him the most," Sarah recalled, concerning a moment in time with her father. She quickly shook the thought of Jack out of her head and continued on. "Anyways, Comic Cons are like Rivendell," Emma's oldest daughter mentioned the fictional place from Lord of the Rings that White shared, concerning one of the founding members unofficially calling Five Elders studios. "It's considered a nerd's peaceful safe haven even though it looks and sounds absolutely chaotic."

"Sarah's right," Chuck excitedly chimed in. "I know at a number of Comic Con panels that I've attended with Morgan, fans have constantly asked Fillion whenever he's there if it's coming back for a second season reboot."

"You and Morgan asked, didn't you?"

Chuck was briefly silent before he answered Molly. "Maybe."

After Molly rolled her eyes, Emma asked a question concerning Fillion's answer about any news on a Firefly reboot. "What does he tell them?"

"Practically the same thing," answered Chuck, shrugging his shoulders. "He'd be down to reprise his iconic role of Captain Malcom Reynolds. He even said that all the cast is up for it."

After Chuck said that, he directed his attention to Sterling. Speaking of Sterling, he stood there a brief moment before he looked behind him then returned his attention back to the diehard fan of his work.

"Don't look at me," responded Sterling, pointing to himself. "Trust me I've tried. It's up to higher ups like her who make that bloody call." The director pointed to White. "Isn't that right, my darling."

"I hate when you call me that."

Sterling smirked. "You enjoy it."

"Since when?" retorted White. She arched her right brow towards Sterling.

"Barcelona," he answered back, with a bit of seemingly seductive lisp.

Afterwards, Sterling's eyebrow danced, and it caused White to instantly react by calling for someone. "Denise!" she bellowed out.

At that point, a female suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Yes ma'am!" Denise startled the four V.I.P's with her seemingly ninja-like arrival.

"Take them to the set of Katrina's office where Heather and Stephen are," stated White. "They're going over their lines right now. I've got to go over the shooting budget with Will," she added, then turned her attention to her V.I.P guests. "Hugo, go with them."

"Copy that."

"I'll join you all once we're done." The executive producer nodded then headed off with Sterling to talk and take care of some business.

"Right this way, folks." Denise motioned for them to follow her as their escort, which they did. Panzer right behind per White's orders.

"You know it's just not that simple, Brody. What we have is considered," Heather shook her head as she held her script in her left hand while she gestured with the other. "Complicated."

Pollak stood up after he had been sitting on the couch. "Then the simple thing to do is make it uncomplicated," responded Pollak. He briefly scanned his script and then took a breath before he continued on. "I get it."

"Do you?"

"I do," Pollak answered back. He then took one step forward. "We've both been painfully burned in the past. You know how I buried a part of myself and left it buried never to be dug up again," He briefly paused and took a breath. "Until you literally walked into my life."

"As I recall, you walked," Heather stopped then corrected herself. "Ran past me actually into mine."

In response, Pollak faintly grinned and then shrugged his shoulders. "I was late visiting my niece after band practice at the club my brother, Deacon, owns."

"The Third Dimension, right?" The actor nodded. Heather continued on. "I was dead set on contacting Cobb and have you removed from the premises. By force if it came to it," she recalled.

"Seriously?"

"Hey, I was 2 weeks into the job as Chief Administrator and some suspicious individual running past me sent off red flags, especially in the pediatrics wing of the hospital," Heather stated, briefly glancing at her lines beforehand. "How was I supposed to know that the previous Chief Administrator who retired made a deal with you? I should have at least been notified of it."

"I'll give you that. So," wondered Pollak. "What stopped you?"

"The guitar case you brought along with you," she retorted, then further shared what she remembered. "When Cobb and I eventually located where you were, we heard and then witnessed an all-out sing along going on in the play/media room of the pediatrics hospital."

"How was it?"

"Heather lifted her right hand with her palm side down, shook it, and then briefly expressed a scrunched-up face. "Eh," she uttered, sounding disappointed.

"It was that bad!?" responded Pollak, shaking his head. He expressed an amused chuckle afterwards. "All I cared about was my niece and the rest of the kids in that room who enjoyed it. Plus, some of the nurses." The amused grin that graced his lips would fade as a look of seriousness replaced it. "What's going on, Katrina? It's not like you're having second thoughts about us." The actor tilted his head and then furrowed his eyebrows a bit before he spoke up again. "Are you having second thoughts?"

Heather turned around and faced her fake office window. She then crossed her arms with her script tucked underneath her left arm. As she stood there and stared longing out her fake office window for dramatic effect that was probably called for in the script, the 4 V.I.P's sat in their own personalized director's chairs that were provided for them. All 4 individuals were actually captivated by the performance going before them even though they were simply rehearsing their lines. However, it seemed Chuck and Sarah were considerably more enthralled in the rehearsal than Emma and Molly.

For Chuck, even though he knew how much of an egotistical douchebag Pollak was, he commended him for his acting ability. As much as he wanted to personally dislike him, the man who hit on, then flat out got turned down by Morgan's girlfriend, Alex, he was incredibly impressed by him professionally. While he sat there for the past 5 minutes or so, he saw how intensely focused Pollak was and embodied a number of characteristics of a real-life person, which was himself.

Of course, he learned so much after the conversation progressed further along with Mark. Chuck and Morgan learned how before production ever began with the upcoming project, White's influence and backing from Five Elders Studios combined with Pollak's team focused on cleaning up the actor's image. In other words, Pollak needed to be repackaged because he unfortunately had a reputation for being the quintessential bad boy who dated and broke many hearts in Hollywood.

On the other side of the spectrum, Heather Chandler was essentially crowned the newest America's Sweetheart, which was a crown that Julia Roberts wore for countless years. So, in order to turn around Pollak's image, a relationship was manufactured with Hollywood's rising female star instead of having it blossom organically and it needed the media to get on board. That's where White's influence, with backing from Five Elders Studios, came in and worked to completely turn around an actor who was on their way to becoming another Richard Greico.

As for Sarah, she sat there next to Chuck in absolute awe of her revitalized friendship with a woman who she reconciled with after so many years of regret. The oldest daughter of Emma Walker was privileged enough to witness firsthand Heather's acting chops. She couldn't help but be awe-inspired by how effortless she made it seem when she expressed a plethora of emotions and took her time in showing those aforementioned emotions. In her mind, it was seemingly like a dance performance that she easily, as well as smoothly, transitioned from one facial expression to another. The way Heather was able to hold back, then open up when the time was right in such an outstanding way.

In any case, when Heather responded back to Pollak she noticed certain character traits exhibited by the actress that were quietly pointed out by not only her mother, but younger sister as well. One of those character traits was her looking to the side whenever she finds herself in an incredibly uncomfortable situation. Granted, she didn't believe it at first, until she finally saw what Emma and Molly were talking about. That and the slight raise of the eyebrow were subtle nuances of the character she never really thought she did on a subconscious level, until they were pointed out to her, Sarah thought to herself.

While she continued to sit there watching the two actors rehearse their lines, there was something absolutely beautiful in the way she acted, but she couldn't exactly pinpoint it. However, it seemed to her at least that it came from a place of painful honesty. It was if she tapped into and channeled her painful past to the point where it gave her an added sense of struggle emotionally. In Sarah's mind, it was somewhat similar to Harry's inner battle with Snape in the 5th movie, Order of the Phoenix. For her, it's heartbreaking to think about how she was Heather's version of Voldemort so many years ago.

You're the weak one, and you'll never know love or friendship. That line near the end of the movie deeply resonated with her because as one of the mean girls in High School she thought she would become stronger, whereas Heather grew weaker personally, mentally, and emotionally. Yet, the person who was actually weakened was herself. Why? She surrounded herself with Slytherin type individuals who never really knew what true friendship was. A friendship where she should have defended and positively built Heather up, rather than negatively tear her down. To fathom what Heather had suffered through, all by her cruel hands, was shamefully despicable, but thankfully they both came out the other end with a much stronger and supportive friendship.

The nerdy couple, along with Emma and Molly, continued to sit there and watched the performance, even though it was just considered a simple rehearsal.

"You keep asking about our thing…undercover, on the down low, or whatever it's called nowadays," Heather stated, shaking her head. She continued to face forward and look towards her fake office window. "Is it ever going anywhere?" Heather was about to speak up again, but she was instantly cut off by Pollak.

"Before you say anything, " Pollak stepped forward again and stood two feet behind Heather. "I want to get this off my chest. I know your ex took something from you, Katrina."

"What he took from me was my own identity. Being myself. It's something I never got to be when I was with Parker."

"I get it. I was sort of that way with my ex. She really did a number on me."

In that instance, Heather turned around and faced Pollak. "The infamous Jordan."

Pollak nodded once again. "You and I took a chance. We're both doing it again with each other. That feeling of starting to care about someone, maybe for the first time in your life; a life in which all you've ever done is shut off your feelings after brutal heartbreaks. I've been there. You then bury them deep down inside. Why? It's considered a distraction and distractions are considered a liability, especially when you're in charge of a hospital." Pollak took another step forward, reached out with both arms and gently placed both hands on either side of Heather's arms. "I know you possibly think you've messed up your life because you've opened a piece of your heart and that's scary. I know because I'm scared too."

"You're scared?" she breathed out, glancing over her right shoulder.

"I am," he softly responded back. He briefly paused and gathered his thoughts before he spoke up again. "Both of us are rediscovering ourselves in the process of getting to know each other. We're slowly learning to trust and be vulnerable. Truth be told, most of the hospital knows and is rooting for us to get together."

There was a momentary silence between the two of them before Heather uttered her next line. "The staff have named us #Kody or #Brotina." she shared.

After Heather said that line, Sarah faintly snorted and then grinned because the hashtag name actually happened at Westside Medical Center unbeknownst to Chuck. She shook her head and focused back on the rehearsal between the characters Katrina and Brody whose eyes are locked on each other.

"I never imagined in my wildest dreams that a beautiful girl," Pollak stopped then corrected himself. "Woman. A beautiful woman like you would ever give the time of day to a guy who was a high school band nerd."

"And now?" questioned Heather. She never broke eye contact with Pollak.

"I'm starting to think what my brother Deacon told me was right."

"About what?"

"When you least expect it, the nerd sometimes gets the girl."

The office set was completely silent as the 4 V.I.P's were waiting for Heather, Pollak or both of them to respond. They wouldn't have to wait long.

"Your brother may be right," smiled Heather.

It was at that point, Heather and Pollak moved in for what seemed like a kiss. Unfortunately, they would be interrupted by a knock on the fake office door. A second later, the door opened with someone stepping through.

"Chief Omaha, are you busy?"

That certain someone who stepped into the fake office caused Chuck's eyes to nearly pop out of their sockets to the point where he stood up and blurted out that person's name.

"Hetty Lang!?" Chuck's voice echoed and reverberated on the set before it faded away. As he stood there, it suddenly dawned on Chuck that he interrupted rehearsal. He then looked around knowing everybody on that set was focused on him including his fellow V.I.P's. "Sorry." It was the only word that a clearly embarrassed Chuck mustered up.

"Linda Hunt, actually." The seasoned and short statured actress stepped towards then stopped at the end of the open office set. "I see there's an NCIS: LA fan here."

Thankfully, an announcement was made that made the situation far less uncomfortable for the nerd.

"I guess this is a good time to break for lunch now," Heather announced, breaking away from Pollak. "Thank God," she softly muttered under her breath. "Linda, care to join me and the V.I.P's?"

"As long as it's not too much of an imposition."

"It's not." quickly chimed in Chuck, completely nerding out. "You're definitely not imposing," the nerd excitedly added.

"Pull yourself together, Chuckles!" whispered Molly, over to her future brother-in-law.

Chuck totally ignored Molly and focused on Linda Hunt who gave her answer to Heather. "Sure, I'd be happy to."

"I'll be in my trailer then," announced Pollak, walking off the office set.

"Where are we, Alex?" asked Bennett.

Casey knew his mentor was personally going through a tremendous amount of mental and emotional chaos after a failed mission that resulted in the loss of his unit. Unfortunately, the care and treatment that he sorely needed was provided for him, but the help for a highly decorated veteran would gradually be forgotten, which Casey considered absolutely disgraceful. He knew he had to do something and although he needed medical help, there was also a way to help him mentally. After a lengthy phone conversation with Westside Medical Center's clinical psychologist Dr. Howard Busgang, they agreed that taking him to a place that represented a place of peace and calm would help him without any sort of noisy distraction around him. The hospital's Head of Security knew exactly where to take him.

"The Monastery of the Holy Spirit. I called in a favor to an old friend of ours."

"Who?"

"Brother Coburn, it's good to see you." A male, bald headed monk dressed in traditional monk garb approached the two men. The individual then turned his attention to Bennett after he stopped in front of them. "And you, Sensei."

Bennett expressed confusion on his face. "You know me? Who are you?"

"Yes, Sensei," nodded the monk. "You trained me, remember. Just like you did with Brother Coburn. You knew me once as Davis. Colin Davis."

Bennett stared at the monk whose name he once was associated with, Colin Davis. He visually tried to search, figure out and put a name to the face, but wasn't able to mentally put two and two together. Fortunately, Davis provided something that would help jog his memory.

"Here, maybe this will help." He retrieved that something from within his rob and handed it over to Bennett. It was a photo. An old photo to be exact. "As you can see, I used to have a beard and what hair I had left on my head," he humorously added.

It took a moment, but Bennett's eyes slowly widened as he recognized the man in the photo. Afterwards, he lifted his head and smiled at the monk standing in front of him.

"Psycho?" The monk simply smiled and then nodded. "Didn't you used to drink milk out of coconut by sticking a straw in it?"

The monk formally known as Colin Davis chuckled with amusement then responded. "I wasn't called Psycho for nothing," he stated, shrugging his shoulders.
