During this time...

Back in the Gerudo Desert, Link and the three Jaegers with him have now reached ruins.

"Honestly, I'd prefer the area where our boat is." Tatsumi confessed. "It was more welcomed."

"Make less noise! We're about to enter the Bulblins' hideout, so be ready." Link said.

Stopping in front of a half-demolished wall, the archer ended up climbing it. Then, once at the top, he lay down and just looked at the bulblins that were gathered among the ruins. There was a whole bunch of them.

"There are many." Affirmed Link.

Joining him, Run and Kurome saw that he was right. Also wanting to see the scene, Tatsumi climbed to the top of the wall. Unfortunately, cracking the place where he put his hand ends up deteriorating and a piece of stone ends up falling on the ground. Hearing this, the creatures turned to the quartet. Blinking, Link, Kurome and Run turned to Tatsumi, showing angry looks.

"Hey, it's not my fault."

Now alerted by the presence of the heroes, the bulbins then immediately surrounded the small group.

"Why does someone always have to fill in for Wave, to mimic his clumsiness, when he's not around?" Kurome asked, pulling out her saber.

"There really was no way to pass undetected anyway." Link said pulling out his Master Sword and Hyrule Shield.

With a sigh, Run made his wings appear, before starting to fly.

"Really, I'm starting to think that the warriors of this planet should start exterminating these monsters, who only think of destruction."

"It's not the first time I've thought about it." Link said.

"You think I'm responsible for our situation?" Tatsumi asked, grabbing his teigu. "Okay! In that case, I'll take care of our lovely opponents."

Leaping towards him, the bulblins struck him with their weapons. however, they cried out in astonishment as they saw their weapons smashed into the void, while Tatsumi seemed to have disappeared to be destroyed. Turning their gaze, the creatures tried to find him. Suddenly, sensing a presence above them, they lifted their heads to see Tatsumi falling towards them, while swinging his sword, shattering their weapons.

" Surprised ? »

Unable to respond, the monsters got even more excited seeing Tatsumi rushing around before starting to knock them out.

Taking advantage of his speed, Tatsumi repeatedly hit the bulblins in front of him. Screaming, several creatures tried to flee, before being decapitated by Incursio. Killing them, the boy then turned to another group of Bulblins before asking.

" Who's next ? "

The bulblins began to recede, while moaning. However, as Tatsumi stared at them, he was unaware that an archer was about to shoot him. But the archer was then shot by Link with his bow and arrows.

Link then saw a bulblin with an ax coming straight at him. Link quickly put away his bow and waited until the bulblin was close enough.

"DEADLY STRIKE!" Link quickly drew his sword and ran through the bulblin. The abdomen pierced, the creature vomited blood, before collapsing to the ground.

Wanting to avenge this slight, other groups of bulblins charge at Link, while aiming their weapons at him. Remaining perfectly calm, Link took a deep breath, before grabbing his sword with both hands.

"BLACKED STRIKE! " Link jumped as he cut through some bulblins as he then hitted the ground, causing a shockwave that killed the rest of them.

The watcher, Run declared.

"The power of heroes from other worlds is mind-boggling! I make me wonder what they could do with the help of a teigu."

Then, beating his wings, he created gusts of wind that stopped several arrows that targeted him. Then lowering his gaze, he stared at the bulblins that had attempted to attack him. Screaming in fear, they fled. Unfortunately for them, creating more gusts of wind, Run returned their arrows and used them to pierce them.

Managing to survive this, one of the monsters rushed to a rock for shelter. Unfortunately, the blade of a saber slashed his abdomen, as Kurome passed behind him. Before the bulblin could understand it, he fell to the ground, lifeless. Seeing other monsters arriving as reinforcements, Kurome began to kill a few of them, while muttering

"The more we kill, the more there are. "

Indeed, no matter how much they win, bulblins will always come out of nowhere. As Link finished one of them, he saw the entrance to the Colosseum.

" Guys ! This way ! " Link yelled as he headed for the entrance followed by Run.

Starting to follow them, Tatsumi stopped to see Kurome continue to kill more bulblins. Seeming to want to let off steam, she didn't hesitate to massacre her opponents, without seeming to realize that they were becoming more and more numerous.

"KUROME! We must flee."

"Don't give me orders." The girl ordered him, raising her saber to kill another enemy.

However, at the worst moment, her pain returned. Seeming unable to resist it, Kurome dropped her weapon and fell to her knees, before falling victim to shivers that sent her entire body shaking. Seeing her struggling to breathe, one of the bulblins raised its ax and swung it back towards Kurome.

"KUROME!" Cried Run, seeing her about to get hurt.

Can only raise her eyes, the girl saw the weapon fall on her. The next second, blood spurted onto the floor. Yet, eyes scared, Kurome felt no pain. Having positioned himself in front of her, Tatsumi protected her with his body. Surprised, Kurome saw the ax blade hit the boy's shoulder, causing him to scream in pain.

" TATSUMI ! "

Seeing the boy go down on one knee, the bulblin raised its ax again to kill him. Nevertheless, faster than it, Tatsumi grabbed Incursio and hit the monster in the throat.

Turning then, the boy kicked another bulblin back. Then, he grabbed Kurome and, despite his injury, he lifted her in his arms, before running towards the others. Pursuing them, several bulblins were pierced by feathers, while Run covered his companions.

"Hurry up! Come in ! " Link shouted as Tatsumi passed him.

Waiting for Run to come back to them, Link then closed the entrance to the colosseum as the surviving bulblins were furious because they couldn't follow them.

"Okay, we were safe here." Link says. "Is everyone okay?"

At that moment, letting go of Kurome, Tatsumi let himself fall on his buttocks, before putting his hand on his injured shoulder.

"I feel like my arm bone has been hit."

"You…You saved me." Kurome remarked. " Why ? "

Trying to smile, the boy looked at the young woman, before affirming.

"We are comrades! It's okay to help each other."

Hearing this, Run was the most surprised. Upon recognizing Tatsumi's weapon, he understood that Tatsumi was a member of the Revolutionary Army. However, he didn't hesitate to protect Kurome at the risk of his life. If the weapon had hit him in the neck, the boy could have been killed.

Crouching down next to Tatsumi, he looked at his wound and noticed that it was deep, as Tatsumi lost blood.

"Damn it! And like an idiot, I didn't think to take some of the mushrooms Peach gave us."

For his part, rummaging through his clothes, Link ended up pulling out a vial, containing a red liquid, which he handed to the wounded man.

" Take this. "

" What is that ? "

"A healing potion! If you drink it, you'll be cured in seconds."

Trusting the hero, Tatsumi grabbed the vial, and removed its cap before drinking its contents. However, taking a single sip, he winced, betraying his disgust. Seeing him stick his tongue out of his mouth, Run questioned him.

"How does it taste?"

"I feel like I'm drinking blood mixed with sock juice."

"That's how people describe its taste." Link affirmed.

"Couldn't you have warned me?" Tatsumi roared. "I took a big sip."

Suddenly, he felt the pain in his shoulder disappear. Looking at it, he noticed that he no longer had any injuries. Only his torn and blood-covered clothing was proof that he had been injured.

"I'm cured...great."

Nodding, Link then turned to Kurome, before questioning her.

"The pain that gnaws at you, that has something to do with drugs, doesn't it?"

" Huh ? "

Pulling out another vial, Link gave it to the girl.

"Take this! It should ease the pain! And don't worry about the taste! This potion tastes like syrup."

"Why wasn't I allowed this potion?" Tatsumi roared.

Not hearing Link's response, Kurome just stared at the vial in her hand. Immediately, she thought back to the behavior of Wave, who had wanted to make her eat flowers, in order to remove the effects of her medication on her body. Gritting her teeth, she had the impression that Wave and Link took pity on her.

It was for this reason that she dropped the vial. Hearing the object hit the ground, the three boys turned to her, as she lifted her foot. Then, without hesitation, she stomped on the vial, shattering it into pieces. Startled, the boys remained silent, until Run asked.

" Kurome ? "

"Stop thinking of me as a weak person." Kurome roared. "I can fight and take the pain! I don't need anyone's help."

"What? But what's your problem?"

"My problem is that everyone keeps taking pity on me and sees me as weak."

Thinking back to her two losses to Wario and the strange ghost that fought her on the boat, Kurome roars.

" I AM NOT WEAK ! "

"Does that give you the right to destroy people's work?"

Surprised, Kurome saw Link at her feet, his hand resting on the liquid that was in the broken vial.

"People went to great lengths to harvest the ingredients for this potion! And others worked to make it! Who do you think you are destroying their work?"

Standing up, Link said.

"You may not be weak...but you're an idiot."

" What ? "

Seeing the situation starting to escalate, Tatsumi tried to change the discussion.

"Can someone remind me why we came here?" Tatsumi asked.

"We're going to visit people who might know where the mysterious heart you're looking for is," Link affirmed. "To find them, we must go to the room of Mirrors."

"The room of mirrors?" Tatsumi repeated.

"Where is the room of mirrors?" Asked Run, as he looked around only to see sand in front of him.

"It's in front! Let's go." Link said as he and the others resumed walking through the desert.

However, after a moment, Link stopped and reached out to the others to order them to imitate him. Then he squatted down to look at a different area of the ground.

"Careful, it's quicksand ! One misstep, and you won't be able to get out." Link said.

Getting up, to see other areas where the sand was much more viscous, Link affirmed.

"The whole area is dangerous! You have to act with caution.."

However, taking three steps back, he then ran towards the area, before jumping. Jumping several times, while zigzagging, the hero avoided the quicksand, and managed to set foot only on secure places. Finally, he stopped at the other end of the area. Turning then, he affirmed.

"Here we are safe"

For answer, Tatsumi turned to Run.

"This time, can you carry me and fly me over the area?"

"No worries! Both of you! Hold on to me."

However, as Tatsumi grabbed his arm, Run saw Kurome start running towards the quicksand. Then, mimicking Link's gestures, she ends up landing near the hero. Then challenging him with a look, Kurome tried to show him that she was on his level.

"I don't need any help." She affirmed.

Simply shrugging, Link said.

"If it amuses you to stupidly put your life on the line, do as you please."

Waiting for Run and Tatsumi to join them, Link resumed walking, until he came face to face with a cliff.

"At the top of this cliff is the door leading to the room of mirrors." He assured.

Then he began to climb the rocky slope, and began to climb as quickly as a lizard would. Carrying Tatsumi, Run followed him, before seeing Kurome climbing the cliff as well, wanting to imitate Link again.

However, stopping on the way, she eventually felt her eyesight blur again. Immediately shaking her face, she then bit her lip and used the pain as a stimulant. Again, Link preferred to ignore the young woman, when she managed to reach him, and turned instead to a huge massive door, which was surrounded by a stone wall. Raising his head, Tatsumi was amazed by his height which must have equaled the height of twenty meters. Yet, despite examining it carefully, he saw nothing resembling a handful.

"This door seems very sturdy." Run remarked. "I don't think we're capable of forcing it open! Still, I don't see anything that can help us open it."

In response, Link approached the door and put his hand on it. Immediately, relics loomed over the door, causing the Jaegers to retreat. Then, two seconds later, the huge door swung open, allowing anyone to step inside the cliff.

"But how...?" Tatsumi asked.

"Some people are considered the chosen ones." Link explained simply, starting to move forward.

They walked through the door and they were now in a room too dark to see. Link took out his lantern and lit it to see tiny skeletons advancing in the dark.

"Living skeletons?" Run wondered.

"Honestly, I find it less strange than the Toads of Mario's world." Confessed Tatsumi.

However, noticed the presence of the quartet, the small skeletons turned to them, before starting to attack. Link quickly drew his sword and jumped into the middle of the group of skeletons.

"CUT SHOOTING!" Link does a 360 degree slash which destroys all skeletons.

For his part, Tatsumi heaved a sigh.

"Is it me or all the creatures in this world want to kill us?"

"They're just here to chase people who aren't worthy of talking to the guards."

Then he put his weapon away.

"Now let's go to the chamber of mirrors." Link said as they walked to another room that had 4 torches in the middle and a cauldron at the top.

They passed through this room as they are now in a larger room with a huge pillar at the end of which some kind of rails were spiraling around.

"How are we going to get up there?" Tatsumi asked as Link pulled out a grappling hook and climbed up.

"Come up, this thing will take us up there. " Link said.

"Geez, that guy's got a lot of gadgets." Run remarked, spreading his wings.

Finally, they came to a very large square opening, which led to a very large room.

"I fought with a huge living skeleton, and since then I have been allowed to come here whenever I want." Link said as they crossed the room.

"A huge living skeleton? Decidedly, I really want to accompany you in one of your adventures. "

"Wave would be happy to come too," Run affirmed. "His dream is to set foot on an unknown land and be the first person to explore it.

"Yeah, that's right. Like it would never happen." Kurome said, as they exited the room and were outside again to see that it was already dark.

They climbed the stairs, jumping across a few platforms in the process. At the end of the stairs, they were now in a large circular arena that had a large black square at the end. There were also stairs that lead to a broken mirror. "So where are the guys who are going to help us?" Tatsumi asked when he couldn't see anyone else.

"They should be up there." Link said pointing to the columns that have different symbols.

Suddenly, five figures with three halos floating on their heads emerged from a blinding light, and each of them landed on their own column.

"Ouch! Who are they ? " Run asked, ready to attack.

"They are the sages. They know almost everything about Hyrule." Link said as the sages landed softly on the ground.

"Travelers, welcome to the chamber of mirrors. I assume you have come to hear our knowledge of the mysterious heart hidden in our world." said one of the sages.

"How did you know that? Can you read our minds or something? " Tatsumi asked suspiciously.

"No, we have simply foreseen the events that have transpired since your arrival. We are grateful that you have traveled the path to find the heart, but unfortunately we have no idea where the item you are looking for." The same sage said.

"It's awesome." Kurome said sarcastically.

"I'm afraid there are other drastic issues to deal with at this time." Another age said.

"What do you mean?" Link requested.

"Heroes of Hyrule, a great evil has once again descended on this land." said one of the sages.

"It started with all the dreaded storms that happened every night." said another sage.

"Hmm, there's been some nasty storms lately." Link said putting his hand around his chin.

"This evil is so powerful that it can awaken the darkest hearted villains that have ever existed." said the wise man who caught Link's attention.

"Wait, you don't mean..." Link said hopefully if that wasn't what he thought.

"I'm afraid...Ganondorf is coming back." the sage said as Link was in shock, while the Jaegers were confused.

During this time...

In the eastern part of Hyrule, the cloaked boy sat on the edge of the mountain cliff as he watched a thunderstorm unfold. A large black orb then emerged from a black cloud as it gently landed on the ground. The orb then expanded as a figure could be seen from within. The black orb then faded as the figure landed hard on the ground. "Ouch..." the creature said as it stood up. He had a dark colored robe and his skin was blue. He has no nose and his eyes were completely yellow.

The creature then looked at its hands curiously. "I'm alive?" said the creature as he laughed like crazy. "YES, THE GREAT EMPEROR ZANT IS ALIVE!" YA HA HA HA HA! Zant laughed as he jumped erratically. He then stops and stares at the dark sky. "I wonder how I came back to life. I couldn't take back what happened... whatever, now I can go back to the twilight realm and destroy every one of them there, especially this so-called princess." Zant growled, clenching his fists in anger.

He then stopped when he saw a black orb bigger than the one he came out of coming from above, and he was heading towards a grave that belonged to an evil villain we all know very well. The orb entered the grave, and after a few seconds a hand came out of the ground while the rest of his body came out afterwards. "Oh no..." Zant said scared, because he knew who it was. The revived figure was a tall, dark man with orange hair that was connected to his eyebrows. He also has an orange beard and black colored armor all over his body except for his head.

He has a brightly shining sword in his scabbard, and he also has a dark reddish cloak in his back, and finally, he has a glowing crack of light coming from his chest. The man looked at the castle in front of him, then smiled. "Heh heh heh heh ha ha ha ha ha! HEH HEH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

Still battling King Bulblin, Esdeath paused, before directing her gaze in one direction.

"General?" Wave wondered.

Ignoring him, the young woman seemed to feel a power that was both terrifying and oppressive.

The terrible storm suddenly stopped as Ganondorf and his minion Zant slowly walked towards the east gate of Castle Town until Ganondorf stopped walking and looked at Hyrule Castle. "It was fate that brought me back to life. The gods know that I am the true ruler of Hyrule, not Zelda." said Ganondorf.

Zant didn't pay attention to him, because he was a servant again, which he didn't find amusing.

"Yeah yeah, when are you going to stop watching it, and do what you already plan to do?" Zant asked rudely.

"You don't seem so enthusiastic about it. Is there something on your mind?" Ganondorf asked without really caring.

"Oh no, Your Majesty. I was just thinking of the times I did all the hard work, while you did nothing and took all the credit for it!" Zant shouted before Ganondorf glared at him.

"Don't blame me for your losses. If you had killed your former princess when you had the chance, we wouldn't be in this situation." Ganondorf said as Zant calmed down. "It's okay anyway. Hyrule will be mine very soon, but we're going to need soldiers."

Ganondorf raises his hand in the air as the sky turns from black to dusk. The bulbins around Hyrule Field have started to change. They were now blue and even uglier than before. Birds flying through the air were transformed into some kind of demonic monsters. From the sky emerged a black, armored dragon known as Argorok as it now flew around Hyrule Castle.

The town was now under attack, as the citizens of Castle Town were now evacuating while a large knight swinging a ball with a chain attached pursued them. Flying lizards known as Aeralfos smashed the windows of houses they passed.

A knight in heavily black armor marches through the streets as civilians flee. The once beautiful and peaceful land of Hyrule was now the land of turmoil and despair as Ganondorf and Zant slowly entered the castle town.
