Hogwarts, Severus's Dorm
Severus groaned, attempting to shield his eyes from the harsh glare of the sun. His head throbbed mercilessly as he struggled to sit up, only to be gently pushed back down by a hand on his arm. Blinking away the remnants of sleep, he followed the arm to its source—a still-sleeping Theodosia, sprawled out in his bed.
"What...?" he mumbled, rubbing his eyes in disbelief. It felt surreal, as if he had stumbled into a dream. But the warmth of Theodosia's presence beside him was undeniably real, leaving him grappling with the surrealness of the situation.
He shook his head, attempting to clear the fog of confusion that clouded his thoughts. The events of the previous night began to trickle back into his memory—the party, the kiss, and the decision to bring Theodosia back to his dormitory. It all seemed like a distant blur, a whirlwind of emotions and sensations that he struggled to make sense of.
As he watched Theodosia sleep peacefully beside him, a bitter chuckle escaped his lips. What in the world had he been thinking? He had nothing against Theodosia, but this was certainly not what he had envisioned when Avery had started talking about this 'party'.
Running a hand through his tousled hair, Severus couldn't help but feel a pang of regret mingled with the remnants of last night's excitement. He had allowed himself to be swept away by the moment, and now he had to face whatever the fuck his drunk mind was thinking.
Feeling the bed shift beside him, Severus glanced over his shoulder to find Theodosia's brown eyes fixed on him. As she sat up, pulling the covers around herself, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt for dragging her into his confusion.
Severus cleared his throat, searching for the right words to break the uneasy silence that hung between them. "Um, morning," he offered awkwardly, his voice tinged with discomfort.
Theodosia offered him a small, sheepish smile in response. "Morning," she replied, her voice soft and tentative. Despite the lingering awkwardness, there was a warmth in her gaze that eased some of the tension in the air.
Severus shifted uncomfortably, unsure of how to proceed. It was clear that they both needed to address the events of the previous night, but he couldn't quite find the courage to broach the subject. Instead, he opted for a cautious approach. "So, um, about last night..." he began, trailing off uncertainly.
A giggle escaped Theodosia, her head tilting forward, her hair cascading over her face. "It was... amazing," she confessed, her words muffled by her laughter. Severus stared at her with a mixture of bewilderment and curiosity.
He blinked in surprise at Theodosia's unexpected response, her giggle breaking the tension like a ray of sunlight piercing through storm clouds. Her words hung in the air, leaving him momentarily speechless.
"It was... amazing?" he echoed, his confusion evident in his tone as he studied her. Theodosia nodded, her laughter subsiding as she brushed her hair away from her face, revealing a genuine smile.
"Yeah," she confirmed, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of fondness and amusement.
"Despite the drunkness, I had a really good time."
Severus couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him at her words, the weight of uncertainty lifting from his shoulders. Maybe, just maybe, last night hadn't been a mistake after all.
"That's good," Severus replied with a faint smirk, a sense of relief washing over him. Despite the initial awkwardness, Theodosia's response had lifted his spirits considerably. Glancing at the clock on his wall, he realized it was already 7:55, meaning breakfast was well underway.
Without another word, Severus sprang out of bed, ignoring his nakedness, and hastily made his way to his wardrobe to retrieve his uniform. The urgency of the morning routine overshadowed any lingering embarrassment as he quickly dressed, his mind already shifting to the day ahead.
"What are you doing?" Severus glanced back at Theodosia as he hastily pulled on his pants. "It's 7:55, we've got to get to breakfast." Theodosia's eyes widened in realization as she scrambled out of bed, her movements mirroring Severus's sense of urgency. "Right, breakfast," she exclaimed, a hint of amusement coloring her voice as she quickly gathered her clothes.
Just as Severus was attempting to knot his tie, Theodosia spoke up. "Shit, do you happen to have a brush?" Severus paused in his attempt to tie his tie, glancing over at Theodosia. "Ah, yeah, it should be in one of the dresser drawers," he replied, pointing to a nearby chest of drawers.
As Theodosia quickly found the brush and began to groom her hair, Severus double-checked his bag, confirming he had all the necessary items for the day. Once satisfied, he glanced over to see Theodosia already dressed and tending to her hair with remarkable speed.
With a brief nod of approval, Severus seized her hand, guiding her out of his dormitory. Even as they walked, Theodosia continued to brush her hair with practiced efficiency, determined to not look a hot mess.
After a brief stop at her dormitory, they arrived at the Great Hall doors.
Hogwarts, Great Hall
Lily felt her frustration grow with each passing moment. Ever since Severus had announced their friendship was over, it seemed like every Slytherin saw her as a fresh piece of meat ready to be eaten. This morning, as she made her way to the Great Hall, someone had hit her with a stinging hex out of nowhere.
When she tried to report it to Professor Flitwick, hoping for some support, he brushed her off, saying she shouldn't accuse others without proof. It left her feeling even more alone and helpless like nobody understood what she was going through.
"Lily, you really need to get over the fact that Snape dumped you," Mary's voice cut through Lily's thoughts, drawing her attention away from her frustration. She glanced up to see Mary waving her fork in the air emphatically. Lily's brows furrowed in disbelief.
"He did not dump me!" Lily exclaimed, her tone defensive. Alice, who had been absorbed in her book, looked up at Lily with a knowing expression.
"Then what did he do? Cause it seems like he dumped you," Alice remarked, her words hitting Lily like a slap in the face. How could her friends think Severus had dumped her!? Sure, he was the one to end it, but he was bound to come crawling back like always.
"Severus is going to come back to me, just you watch," Lily declared confidently, flicking a piece of toast at Mary, who simply brushed it away with a smirk. "Lils, if he really comes back with his tail between his legs, I'll pay you 5 galleons," Mary countered, her skepticism evident.
Lily raised a brow, feeling smug at the prospect of winning both Severus back and 5 galleons. Alice closed her book, joining in on the bet. "Me too," she chimed in, adding to Lily's growing confidence. Lily couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces when they saw her and- "What the hell happened to Snape?" Lily looked at the girls, who were looking at something behind her.
Lily turned to see what had caught their attention, only to find the entire Great Hall had fallen silent. Her eyes landed on Severus, who stood at the center of the attention.
He looked the same, yet different—his hair disheveled, his shirt wrinkled. Before Lily could process the scene, Mary's blunt inquiry broke the tense silence. "Who the hell did Snape fuck?" she blurted out, voicing the question that hung in the air.
"Wha..."Lily's cheeks flushed crimson as she turned back to her friends, her mind racing to comprehend the situation. She felt a mix of confusion, embarrassment, and a pang of hurt as she realized she had no idea what Severus had been up to since their falling out.
Mary and Alice exchanged intrigued glances, waiting for Lily's response. But before she could utter a word, Severus's gaze met hers across the room, his expression unreadable. In that moment, Lily felt a surge of emotions—anger, betrayal, and a flicker of something she couldn't quite place.
As whispers and murmurs erupted around them, Lily found herself at a loss for words. She couldn't deny the sinking feeling in her chest or the nagging doubts that gnawed at her mind. All she knew was that things between her and Severus were far more complicated than she had ever imagined.
"You think it was Bellatrix?" Her head snapped towards Frank, who was leaning over the table, talking to Mary and Alice. Lily looked over at Slytherin table where Severus was sitting, and sure enough, Bellatrix freaking Black was sitting right next to him.
Lily's blood ran cold, what was happening to her life!? first, she lost Severus and now she's already been replaced by another girl!? It was like he was turning into the Slytherin Sirurs Black, minus the crazy girls giggling as he passed.

Lily cursed herself inwardly. Why had she even opened her big dumb mouth to say Severus was the Slytherin Sirius Black? Now it seemed like a cruel twist of fate that those words had turned into reality. She had unwittingly invited this torment upon herself.
As Severus passed by with Muliber and Avery by his side, Lily couldn't help but notice the whispers and giggles that followed in their wake. It felt like a mockery, a cruel reminder of her own pain and vulnerability.
She clenched her fists, feeling a surge of frustration and anger building within her. This wasn't how things were supposed to be. She had never imagined that her friendship with Severus would crumble so easily, or that he would move on without a second thought.
But as she watched him, surrounded by baby fucking death eaters and seemingly oblivious to her turmoil, Lily couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal that gnawed at her heart. She had jinxed herself, and now she was paying the price for her own words.
