Cooper House:
One November, Sheldon was sitting in his spot on the couch reading an X-Men comic book. Missy walked towards the thermostat.
"It's getting pretty hot in here. I'm gonna turn it from 72 to... eh, 60." she said, turning the dial.
Sheldon jerked his head up from his comic with wide eyes.
In his mind, Sheldon raced out of the house in a Flash costume.
He sped past Connie and Dale on the former's house porch.
"The hell was that?" Dale asked.
"Beats me." Connie shrugged.
Sheldon sped past the Laundromat/Secret casino where Georgie and Mandy were at, the latter holding CeeCee.
"Did you see that?!" asked Mandy.
"Looked like a speedin' devil." Georgie replied.
Sheldon then sped past the school where George and Wayne were doing some paperwork. Both looked up when they heard him but saw nothing, much to their confusion.
"Think I'll skip the bar tonight." George said after a few moments.
Sheldon then zoomed past the college, making the papers Dr. Sturgis and Dr. Linkletter were holding fly out of their hands.
"Good lord what was that?!" Dr. Linkletter exclaimed.
"The wind's picking up!" said Dr. Sturgis.
Sheldon super-sped through Texas, right through New Mexico, and eventually ended up in Arizona. He made signs spin, people lose their hats, leeaves blow clean off trees, all until he reached the Grand Canyon when he finally came to a stop.
"GOOD LORD HOW YOU FORSAKE ME MELISSA COOPER!" Sheldon yelled, his shouts echoing across the canyon.
He then super-sped back the way he came, passing by everyone he zoomed past earlier, much to their shock and bewilderment before he rushed back into the house.
Now Sheldon is back in his spot on the couch holding his X-Men comic with the same expression from earlier.
"Fine." he simply said, going back to reading.
"That's a first." Missy snorted as she adjusted the heat setting.
"Little did I know my future roommate and fellow genius, Dr.Leonard Hofstadter would pull something similar on me decades later in our apartment." Older Sheldon narrated.
"I'd hardly call changing the heat setting 'forsaking'." came Amy's voice.
"You're lucky I adore you so damn much."
"Love you too Shelly."
