While Chosen set up a plan to get back to the desktop, despite it seeming impossible, the others thought of a plan.

Which, in a sense, wasn't going very well, since everyone had their own specific views on how they should defeat Orchid.

"Okay, Casanova, you say your plan, and I'll decide if it's even remotely going to work!" Green snapped at Yellow.

"I'm the smarter one here, grass head!" Yellow snapped. "Me and Purple could come up with a better plan than you!"

"Oh, shut up, redstone master!"

"Guys, quit bickering!" Second said. "Bickering isn't going to help, and time is limited. If we're going to stop Orchid, we've gotta think of a plan fast, before there isn't even time to do that!"

"How do you know we don't have time, sleep deprivation embodiment?!" Green asked incredulously.

"Green!"

"Yellow started it!"

"I did not!"

"We don't have time for this!" Purple snapped, trying to break up the argument.

"Shut up, Purple!"

"Green!"

"I'm just saying my plan is better than yours, Yellow!"

Second sighed heavily. "Then me, Dark, and Purple will head out ourselves, since none of you can think of a good enough plan to help save our asses!"

"Good plan!-Wait what?" Green finally shut up.

"Me, Dark, and Purple will head out and stop Orchid before she causes any more damage. Because obviously nobody knows how to come up with valuable plans that can actually end with everyone making it out in one piece!"

"My plan would've." Green muttered.

"Well, your plan sucks!" Yellow snapped.

"It does not! The plan was just to kill Purple off, which would warrant no more Orchid!" Green explained.

"We're not killing Purple!"

"Why?! Because we'll emotionally destroy King for the millionth time!"

"Well, that's one reason…but we need Purple because he's the only one who can actually defeat Orchid!"

"Oh is he now?!"

"Well, if you have your doubts about my potential, then I'll just go off and stop her on my own!" Purple snapped, finally ending the argument.

"What now?"

"You heard me! I'll go stop her by myself if you're just gonna sit here and doubt my ability to stop when everyone here knows I've stopped my father more times than you can count and I did it on my own every single time!"

Green was stunned into a speechless silence.

After Chosen found a way back to the desktop, they parted ways with Gold and the others and returned to a very confused Alan.

"Before you say anything, a lot of this is Orchid's fault." Second started.

"Then why the hell did my computer suddenly crash?"

"That, we're not sure. It might be a result of her extensive abilities, but it could've been anything, really."

"Will it happen again? I was really worried about you guys."

"A 50/50. Most likely not, depending on if Orchid's plan succeeds."

"Just be careful with whatever plan you guys have."

"We will."

Purple stared down at the ground, unsure whether or not to agree with whatever plan he had just thrown out.

Going out there solo seemed like a bad idea, not that he was worried about that.

But this was his mom he was thinking about.

He couldn't just kill his own mother, even if it was the only thing that would save them.

He just couldn't.

Purple stared up at the top of the desktop later that night, thinking about the plan that would decide the fate of the world.

Could it actually work?

This was the only chance that they had, and Purple was so scared of blowing it.

"I figured I'd find you up here."

Purple's trance was broken by King's voice.

"Figured it wouldn't take long for you to do so." Purple muttered.

"What's wrong?"

Purple shot his head up. "I don't know if this plan's a good idea."

"Why? You were all for it earlier, knowing your going solo to stop your mom and-"

"That's my point! I don't know if it's a good idea because yes, she's all hot shot and evil all about world domination and all that, but…she's still my mom…"

King stared at him. "Purple…"

"I can't just kill her! She's my mom!"

Purple stared down at his hands, and a brief image of purple fireballs filled his vision.

"Purple, hey! Hey, snap out of it!"

Purple's eyes widened. "No…no, this can't be happening…"

When he looked up next, he wasn't sitting on a roof anymore.

"King? King! King!"

Suddenly, he saw his parents.

"Mom? Dad?"

Another man was also with them, and he sounded frantic.

"I'm telling you two, your son's powers will be impossible to control!"

"You don't know that!" Orchid snapped.

"Your powers were a handful to control, Orchid. Your son's powers might be more unstable than yours ever were and could lead to his death sooner or later!"

Purple was stunned.

"I think it's best you don't tell him about his powers, unless absolutely necessary."

"Don't worry, Night Shade, we won't."

"Purple, snap out of it! Please! Wake up!"

Suddenly, Purple gasped and fell.

"Purple! What happened?! Are you okay?!"

Purple was wide-eyed and shaking. What kind of dumb question was that, King?! Of course he wasn't okay!

"Purple…?"

"My parents, they…they tried keeping my powers a secret from me…they…we need to find Night Shade."

"Who?"

"Night Shade! He…he knows more about my powers than anyone else! We have to find him! We just have to!"

"Easy, kid. Think about this. This Night Shade person, he knows about your powers?"

"Yes! He said they could be unstable and…and I could die! Orchid's were also a handful, and he…he told them to keep the secret from me…"

King is shocked.

Purple stares down at his hands again.

"We've got to get control of these powers. It'll be easier to stop Orchid if you have more of a control of them."

"But…what about…"

King grabs Purple's hand. "And then we'll find Night Shade and help defeat Orchid."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

"Figured you would've left by now." Green said, slightly surprised to see Purple walk downstairs with King the next morning."

"We have a change of plans. Purple had a little memory blank last night and…found some new information."

"How so?" Dark asked, barely awake.

"Someone named Night Shade knew about my powers beforehand…and he said they could be unstable and he could die."

"Which is why…I need Chosen to help me control those powers." Purple finished.

Chosen was caught very off guard. "Okay, Second, now I'm awake. You want me to do WHAT?!"

"We need you to help control Purple's powers." King restated.

"I can't even help control Second's powers!" Chosen exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, I forgot I had powers." Second said sleepily.

"Second barely acknowledges he has powers because they were a one-time thing that defeated the person sitting right there!" King snapped. "Purple's powers are a part of him 24/7, and they're our only chance that we have. Please, Chosen, just help him."

Chosen thought for another moment. "Fine." He sighed. "I'll help. But you owe me, King Orange." He said before he left.

Purple hugged King. "Thank you." He whispered.
