Once the guards made off with Purple and Red, what remained of the group's order was quickly diminished.
What was left of the Color Gang began freaking out with a few moments, mostly at Yellow for stupidly letting them get captured.
"I was not the cause for Red's capture!" Yellow shouted. "He chased after the guards and ended up being captured with Purple!"
"And the reason he went up there is YOU let him get captured by stupidly blowing up the barrier that we specifically had put between Purple and the guards so he WOULDN'T get captured! You severed that barrier, and Purple was captured. Therefore, both of them were captured because of YOU!"
"I thought the electrification command would prevent the bars from being damaged!" Yellow snapped. "I didn't expect them to be that weak!"
"They handled my pickaxe just fine!" Green shouted.
"Oh, bullshit it handed your DIAMOND pickaxe! This is a block of TNT, not a pickaxe!" Blue shot back.
"Stay out of this, drug addict!" Green retorted. The three were getting on each others nerves.
"Says Purple's so-called best friend who couldn't even rescue him from some stupid guards!"
"GUYS!" Second screamed. The other three sticks jumped and quieted down.
"Fighting isn't going to help their situations!"
Green and the other two glared at each other and pointed an accusing finger at Yellow. "He started it."
"Green."
"He did!"
"Oh, it's because he let your best friend get captured?! My best friend's capture is completely unrelated, so leave him alone!"
"But-"
"Green. Cut the guy some slack," Chosen muttered. "It's not his fault we're in this predicament."
"But-"
"Green, drop it."
"WHY?!"
"Just...drop it. Please. We're all tired and scared and worried, and we don't want a fight breaking out. So let's just calm down and separate, and we'll figure out what the hell this whole "Great Above" is in the morning, okay?"
Green's anger fizzled, and he shot another glare at Yellow. "Fine."
The house was relatively quiet for the next few hours after Green's shouting match with Yellow. Most of them had retreated to their rooms afterwards to cool down.
Or at least try to, which is what Second wanted.
Everyone else was trying to figure out what the Great Above was, not like they had much to go off of.
"Maybe it's another dimension?" Sapphire suggested.
"That's our only likely idea, since heaven seems a little to overshot." Chosen added.
"So we'd need a way to open it." King continued.
"How?"
"Navy and Orchid. They obviously have all the answers to where this other dimension is, so we just have to locate them."
"How? DNA?" Dark asked.
"Or we try their ocean base again." Second said.
"Their what?"
"Where they were hiding while Night Shade was murdering you guys," Second continued. "They've gotta have something about the Great Above if they don't have anything about that weird rock formation."
"Maybe that's what the crown and the formation were needed for in the first place?" Dark suggested.
"Purple keeps the crown in his room, meaning if they were to open the portal with the crown, it's gonna be ten times harder." King said.
"So that means we have time to stop them from opening it in the first place." Chosen said.
"True. But if they're going to restore his memories once they realize we don't have the crown..."
"They'll both be in deeper shit than they're already in." Dark said.
Second and King shared worried glances.
"I'm sure they'll think of something," Chosen reassured. "Besides, if Purple gets his memories back, he'll have his powers."
"Doesn't Red also have a crap ton of spawn eggs?" King asked.
"Yeah. So they'll survive long enough for us to get there."
"But that depends on their location." Yellow stated as he and the others walked downstairs.
"Finally. They stopped yelling." Dark sighed.
"Shut up. I could swab DNA from Red's animals, since they aren't stupid enough to actually separate them...right?"
"Separating them wouldn't be the best idea, since Red is the only one there who can actually protect Purple until he gets his memories back. So it's a terrible idea."
"Then we better get moving if we're gonna rescue them." Second said.
Fern spends a good portion of his time trying to talk some sense into the younger sister he suddenly brought up, while the others tried thinking of a plan.
But knowing Navy was getting smarter with every plan, they had almost nothing to go off of.
"So...the base is out in the middle of the ocean?"
"Yes, but we can't go. He'll expect that."
Chosen's eyes brightened up. "What if he doesn't expect you guys to go through Purple's mind?"
Everyone, including Fern, stared at him.
"We do what?"
"Dark and Second go through Purple's mind to recover his memories, while Red does so from outside."
Dark and Second stared at him, bewildered. "Remember the last time we did something like that? We almost lost Purple's subconscious!"
"We'll think smarter this time. With how Purple feels toward his parent and what they think of him and how he counters that with the truth, it might be easier." Chosen explained.
"What the hell do you mean about how Purple feels towards his parents? He doesn't even know they exist!"
"Depends on how the amnesia spell was worked," Chosen reminded. "They might have programmed it to where he knows who they are, but not us."
"Why in hell would they do that?!" Green snapped.
"It's their plan. They'll use him as their puppet and manipulate him, which will lead straight into their master plan, involving The Great Above."
"So we've just gotta get Purple's memories back before Navy and the others manipulate him?" Yellow summarized.
"It's the best way to explain it, and it isn't gonna be easy," Fern chimed into the conversation. "But we've got inside help."
"Who and how?"
"My little sister's best friend was taken as a guard, and she's been studying the inside operation of Navy's guards ever since. She might be able to help your friends while we restore Purple's memories."
"So we get Purple's memories back, try and get the guards back to normal, and we have a friend to save?" Blue groaned.
"We've done much more with a lot more impact in way less time." Dark reminded.
"And Willow is one of the smartest people I know. She could probably take down the entire organization Navy's built up if she was going way over her head."
"So we could just sit here and do nothing and let her do the work if we wanted to?" Yellow deadpanned.
"Well...we could. But so far as I've observed, King is one of the only people who could fully get through to Purple and get him out of there with way less issues, so it's best that we help her while she takes out the guards."
The others shared glances.
"And Red isn't going to get very far with Navy and Orchid's standards. They'd probably murder him if we don't get there in time."
Voices chimed up following Fern's final statement.
"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's get going!"
Fern and King looked at each other. "How did Purple even become friends with such a supportive group of people and go through whatever brought you two together and still be a happy and excitable kid?"
King sighed. "He's seen a lot more than other kids. That makes him different. But that's why I love him."
