Samēraiden turned to his comrades then said with bewilderment,"You guys saw that too right?"
"If you're talking about how the monster changed into a card and flew away; yeah we saw it and it was kinda hard to miss.",Okamiraiden replied in a sassy manner. Takaraiden sighed, then he looked over his shoulder to see several police cars landing behind them with officers getting out and coming towards him and the others. He turned to the officers and said in a friendly tone,"Hey guys, you all okay?"
The officers stood in a wall while revealing their guns. The raidengers put their hands up with Okamiraiden saying,"Whoa whoa, what the hell are you all doin?"
"Although we are thankful for saving our lives; the high council has asked for you three to be arrested and brought to them immediately.",One of the officers said in a commanding tone.
"Oh great, even when we save them, they want to arrest us."Samēraiden said in a perturbed but nervous way.
"And you wonder why I tend to stay away from cops.",Okamiraiden replied with a sassy tone.
"Could you two not argue and help me figure out a way to get out of this.",Takaraiden said, looking over his shoulders at his teammates. He kept his hands up then heard Zenith in his helmet,"You all should cover your eyes."
A sudden flash of bright light enveloped the trio before it disappeared and the Raidengers were gone.
The trio appeared back in their headquarters and they put their hands down while sighing in relief. Okamiraiden turned to Zenith and walked up to him saying in a perturbed tone,"What was that?!"
"The monster or the police holding you at gunpoint?",Zenith asked, turning to Okamiraiden.
"Everything!"
Takaraiden and Samēraiden pulled Okamiraiden back and Samēraiden began rubbing her back to try and calm her down. Zenith nodded, then he began explaining the situation,"The monster which you all fought is called an Akuryo, they're demon's made from the shadows of man that feed on human misery. They're commanded by a man which you all encountered earlier, he wears a fedora and has a cane with him."
"The guy who tried to kill us?",Samēraiden said.
"Think he said his name was Corvus or something.",Takaraiden said while trying to remember.
"Yes, Corvus is the name of that man. I know little to nothing about him other than the fact that he commands the Akuryo, as previously stated, and that he is incredibly skilled in mystic arts.",Zenith walked over to his desk and sat in his chair.
"Okay okay, ya explained the monster and the pimp from down the lane, now get to why the cops wanted to arrest us.",Okamiraiden urged, still sounding very perturbed.
"That was simply because you're unknown to the High Council. With that being the case, they want to arrest you so that they can essentially question you, study your powers, blah blah blah.",Zenith said, being much more casual than when he explained the Akuryo.
"Well that sucks.",Samēraiden rather bluntly said.
"Sucks is an understatement, this is a downright stupid decision by the council. Though they are politicians first and foremost, I can't say that I'm all too surprised."Zenith shrugged. Okamiraiden grumbled, then she crossed her arms and calmed down slightly.
Takaraiden sighed, then he looked at Zenith and said,"So, should we hand ourselves over to the cops?"
"Heck no, that'd do nothing but leave room for Corvus to be unimpeded.",Zenith said while pointing his walking stick towards the Raidengers. He then looked at one of his monitors to see that the monster, now known as an Akuryo, had appeared once again near a park that was filled with people.
"Oh look, it's back.",Zenith casually said before hitting his walking stick on the ground, causing the Raidengers to disappear.
In the park, the Akuryo walked into the park roaring loudly as people ran away from it in terror. The Raidengers ran into the park, helping anyone that couldn't get out, then they readied themselves to fight. The akuryo charged at the trio, smashing the ground trying to hit them all at once. The Raidengers dodged the akuryo's attack then Okamiraiden charged at the akuryo and punched it four times. The akuryo grunted it and punched Okamiraiden three times before throwing her aside.
Samēraiden and Takaraiden got out their guns and shot the Akuryo twice. The Akuryo roared then swiped its hand at the two Raidengers. Takaraiden ducked while Samēraiden was hit and tumbled across the ground into a trashcan. Takaraiden stood up and he narrowly dodged two attacks before shooting the Akuryo in the torso several times, making it stumble back. Takaraiden then charged at the Akuryo and jumped up to drop kick it in the chest.
The Akuryo tumbled backwards then it growled angrily. Takaraiden regrouped with Samēraiden and Okamiraiden with Samēraiden saying,"Is it just me or is this thing stronger than it was earlier?"
"Nope, it's definitely hitting harder.",Okamiraiden said in agreement.
"That's not possible, right?",Samēraiden asked.
"It obviously is Ethan.",Okamiraiden said.
"No arguing right now!",Takaraiden said, turning to his friends, making both nod their heads. Takaraiden let out an exasperated sigh then he turned to the Akuryo as it got to its feet and readied himself to fight. He then noticed a light coming from his left side, looking down to see it was coming from the card holder on his belt. Takaraiden opened the holder and pulled out a card which had the picture of a metallic red lightning bolt on it that also had a hawk made of red lightning on it.
Takaraiden let out a quizzical grunt then he realized that the Akuryo had stood up and began moving towards him. He rolled under an attack from the Akuryo before he jumped back to avoid another. Takaraiden swiped the card along the back portion of his gun, making it announce,"FINAL BOLT: TAKA."
The barrel of Takaraiden's gun began to have red energy and electricity gather at the end of it and Takaraiden aimed it at the charging Akuryo. Okamiraiden gasped then she grabbed Samēraiden and ran out of the way of the blast.
Takaraiden pulled the trigger on his gun and he fell back as a large red hawk made of electricity and energy shot out of the gun then changed into a red energy bullet. The bullet hit the Akuryo in the chest and it stumbled back before exploding into a cloud of shadows.
"Whoa.",Okamiraiden and Samēraiden said before running over to Takaraiden.
Takaraiden sat up and looked at his gun while saying,"Okay, that had way more kick than I thought it would."
"Dude, you got it! The monster blew up!",Samēraiden said with great excitement.
"Yeah, D, how did you do that?",Okamiraiden asked while helping Takaraiden to his feet. Takaraiden was about to speak but he heard some sirens coming their way and immediately began running away from them, Okamiraiden and Samēraiden following him.
Later on, Deino, Ethan, and Jordin were with Zenith as he stood in front of them and said,"So, you have defeated your first Akuryo, congratulations. However I must ask this of you all, are you willing to be Raidengers and put an end to Corvus and his army, no matter the cost?"
"Yeah we are.",The three young adults immediately replied, Ethan posing as he did so.
Zenith grinned proudly,"Very well, you are henceforth known as the Raidengers. We will begin your training tomorrow. For now, go home and rest up. And don't tell anyone that you are Raidengers okay." Hitting his cane against the ground.
