It had been a week since Aris and his party had moved into the ruins of Lurolona Village.

They currently resided in a group of tents on the outskirts of the village, waiting for some of the houses to be rebuilt before they could move in.

Right now, the night sky blanketed their tents in darkness, illuminated by the light of the full moon. All of the heroes lay sound asleep in their tents.

Almost all of them, at least.

Loretta Nohansen Atreides was hard at work that night. She spent hour after hour beneath the cloak of darkness, laboring away as she tinkered with bits of old Sheikah technology. It had since begun to take shape as a pair of bracelets and anklets.

She donned the bracelets and anklets before speaking in a quiet voice, "M. A. I. A., activate armor."

A feminine, computerized voice responded, "Activating."

Loretta's body became engulfed in particles of blue light. They washed up her arms and legs, covering her chest, neck, and her head. The light died, revealing a suit of armor.

"Armor activated," said M. A. I. A., Loretta's artificially intelligent assistant.

"Status evaluation," said Loretta.

After a quick scan of Loretta, M. A. I. A. replied. "Wearer capacity at one-hundred percent. Fully vitalized and ready for battle."

Loretta held her hands up, palms facing skyward. "Test repulsor cannons on right and left hands."

"Testing."

Her palms lit up with searing blue energy, each firing a single bolt of burning blue light.

"Repulsor test complete," M. A. I. A. affirmed.

"Okay," said Loretta. "Test propulsion boots and propulsion pack."

"Testing."

Jets of blue fire burned from exhaust ports on Loretta's back and feet, propelling her into the air. She kicked her propulsion systems into high gear, soaring around the village in a circle before landing back down on the ground.

"Propulsion systems test complete," M. A. I. A. finally said.

Loretta took some small devices out of a bag, laying them out onto a flat, table-like rock. "Test communication systems."

Some whirring came to life within her armor.

"Hello?" she said as if speaking to someone.

The devices laid out on the rock responded in kind.

"Yes!" she quietly cheered. "My armor should be compatible with the communicators."

"Communication systems test complete," announced M. A. I. A.

The rest of the night was spent testing various functions of her armor, from a pair of skis to a set of built-in energy blades that would come out of her forearms.

"Testing complete," M. A. I. A. finally said. "Sheikah Armor Mk. 1 is fully operational."

"Finally..." Loretta breathed. She had been working on this armor for months now, and most of that time was simply spent working out the kinks in the systems. Now, however, it was finally complete.

She removed the bracelets and anklets from her body and returned to her tent, where she promptly fell back asleep.
