Uzi's Awakening
The three managed to make it back to the Prison exiting the gate.
"All right, we're back." Uzi said to Aqua and Gatomon "We got to get out of here, quick!"
"The watch post near the training hall has ceased reporting!" A Hengeman voice is heard saying via a PA system "Chances of intruder activity are extremely high! All personal, increase security measures!"
The three quickly hide as she see guards beginning to increase patrols.
"We've stayed here too long…Come on, let's get out of here!" Gatomon told the two girls.
"Right, let's move!" Aqua said and the three leave.
They made it out of the prison and made it to the stairs leading to the central hall.
"The exit's this way! Let's hurry!" Gatomon said to them.
They quickly hurry and made it halfway across the Central Hall but stop as they were intercepted by Shadow Gaston and three Hengemen, one was a Captain but unlike the other one this one had a gold helmet with silver armour.
"…You knaves again?" Shadow Gaston said looking annoyed "To think you'd make the same mistake again. You're hopeless!"
"The school isn't your castle!" Uzi told him. "I've memorized their faces real good. You're going down!"
"It seems it's true when they say 'barking dogs seldom bite.'" Shadow Gaston said smirking folding his arms "How far the star runner of the Drone track team has fallen."
"What the heck are you getting at?!" Uzi asked annoyed.
"I speak of the 'Freak Track Traitor' who acted in violence, ending her teammates' dreams." Shadow Gaston said with an amused shrug "Oh, I can only imagine the pain of the others who were dragged under with your…selfish act." Uzi winces at that with a look of guilt
"Freak Track Traitor?" Aqua asked looking at Uzi "Uzi, what does he mean by that?"
Shadow Gaston smirks looking at Aqua "What a surprise. So, you're accompanying her without knowing anything at all? Well let me tell you, she betrayed her teammates and crushed their hopes, yet she still carries on as carefree as ever."
"That's not true!" Uzi told him desperate.
"What a tragedy…You blindly trusted this fool, and she's led you right to your death." Shadow Gaston said and turns away and looks to the Captain "Captain, succeed where your lower ranked counterpart failed and dispose of them. I can't stand their stench."
"At once my liege." The captain said bowing and motions for the other two Hengemen to move in. They do so and turn into black horse with red eyes and two green horns known as Dirty Two-horned Beast.
"Goddammit…" Uzi said concerned and annoyed.
Aqua and Gatomon move in front of Uzi and the cat said "Uzi move!"
They get into a fight and a third Beast had showed up and they surrounded Aqua and Gatomon
"We're surrounded!" Gatomon said.
"Just do your best we have to hold out for an opening." Aqua said.
"I'll kill you! I'll kill you cause King Gaston told us!" One of the Shadow Hengemon said almost like a chant "I'll kill you cause that's what he wants!"
Aqua hearing that couldn't help but feel like the Shadows were under mind control or some spell as the way that one chanted, seemed like it was being influenced.
The two fight as best they could but more arrive. Gatomon said "This is bad…" He was getting worried. And he was right as both were then hit and knocked down running out energy and subdued. Gatomon tried to get up but Shadow Gaston stopped his booted foot on his back "Rgh…You piece of…"
"Get off of…" Aqua said but then felt a foot on her back and see it was from the Shadow Hengeman Captain while the other Hengemen turn back to their armoured forms.
"Stay down, you live a little longer." The Captain said.
Shadow Gaston looked at a shocked Uzi who was on her knees and smirks and said "I bet you simply came here on a whim and ended up like this. Isn't that right?"
"No…" Uzi said nervous and scared.
"What a worthless piece of scrap, getting emotional so quickly…" Shadow Gaston said to her "How dare you raise your hand at me. Thought it was only temporary, have you forgotten my kindness in supervising track practice?"
"Wasn't no practice it was physical abuse!" Uzi said looking at the ground and slammed her hands on it. "You just didn't like our team!"
"It was nothing but an eyesore!" Shadow Gaston said in disgust "The only one who needs to achive results is me! That coach who got fired was hopeless too…Had he not opposed me with a sound argument, I would've settled it with only breaking his star's leg."
Uzi looked up at him shocked "…What?"
"Do you need me to deal with your other leg too?" Shadow Gaston asked smirking "The school will call it self-defence anyway!"
"Bite me…. Am I going to lose again?" Uzi said looking down terrified. "Not only can I not run anymore no matter how many times my leg gets fixed up…the Drone track team is gone too because of this jerk…"
"So that's why…" Gatomon said getting now why Uzi has such hatred to Gaston.
"Uzi…" Aqua said looking sympathetically at her.
Shadow Gaston presses down more and said, "Once these two are dealt with, you're next." He then laughs sinisterly.
"Uzi!" Gatomon called out to the drone girl.
"Don't let him win!" Aqua called out.
Uzi then says "…You're right. Everything that was important to me was taken by him…I'll never get them back!"
"Stay there and watch." Shadow Gaston told Uzi smirking. "Look on as these hopeless scum die for nothing because they sided with scrap like you."
"No…That's what you are…" Uzi said getting up onto her feet and looks determined as she glared at Shadow Gaston "All you think about is using people…You're the real scumbag, Gaston!" She begins to walk forward a bit.
"What are you doing? Silence her!" Shadow Gaston said to the Hengeman Captain.
Uzi then points at Shadow Gaston and said to him "Stop looking down on me with that stupid smile on your face!"
"You made me wait quite a while." A male voice within Uzi said.
"Ahhh!" Uzi gaspes in pain as she clutches her head as like Uzi she felt like something was fighting it's way out. Her eye LED screen was glitching out as well as it turned yellow. She falls to her knees again
"You seek power, correct? Then let us form a pact." The voice said to Uzi "Since your name has been disgraced already, why not hoist the flag and wreck havoc? The 'other you' who exists within desires it thus…"
Uzi cries out as she rolls on the ground as she clutches her head in pain "I am thou, thou art I…There is no turning back…the skull of rebellion is your flag henceforth!" The voice said as a mask forms over Uzi's LED screen a Holograthic circuit lense shaped a bit like a Skull.
The Hengeman Captain looks at Uzi and scoffs "Hmph. What can you do?" He raises his spear to ready bring it down on Aqua "Cower in fear and watch!"
Uzi stands up clutching her mask and screams as she ripped it off, oil forms around ther LED screen and blue flames burst from the ground surrounding her like I did with Aqua. The gust of wind pushes Shadow Gaston and the Captain back
When the light fades floating behind Uzi was a Persona that resembled a pirate with an eyepatch, prosthetic limb, and captain's hat with a skull and crossbones design. He wears a blue shirt, a pair of black pants with gold trim, white boots, and a long flowing red cape. The torso is covered by a grey harness that ends in a pair of cutlasses just below the neck. A pair of anchor ornaments on chains dangle from the harness. It's face wasa skull and a red-yellow eye. It was also riding a pirate ship like a surfboard.
Also Uzi's outfit had changed she was wearing metallic silver gloves and boots, pink vest with rivets going down the rims and a white belt with a glowing core in the middle is also in the outfit. She also had cyber like wings and a cybernetice tail that acted like a scorpion claw. Uzi looks up smirking and did an almost crazed laugh.
"Ugh…This one as well!" Shadow Gaston said in shock
"Right on…What's up Persona…" Uzi said looking at herself amazed and feeling the power her Persona was giving her. "This completely rocks! Now that I got this power, I think it's time for a little payback…" Gatomon and Aqua recover and stand up. "Hey, I'm ready…Bring it!" She said to the Hengemen Captain.
"Ngh…Don't mock me, you brat!" The Captain said in anger and then slams his spear on the ground and transforms turning into a red armoured knight with brown horns on the helmet and weilds a spear riding a black horse with a white mane known as War-hungry Horseman.
"Blast him away…. Captain Kidd!" Uzi said pointing at the enemy.
"What troublemakers that bother King Gaston with trifle matters!" The Captain said with a glare.
"Gaston's cognition isn't changing right?" Uzi said to him "Then I'll act like the troublemaker I am!" She looks to Captain Kidd. "Let's do this, Captain Kidd!" Captain Kidd nods her.
The Captain summons to his side two Dirty Two-horned Beast to aid him. Uzi then has Captain Kidd use Zio on the beasts and both get knocked off balance being weak to it and the Guard Captain also got hurt by the attack but stayed balanced.
Aqua and Gatomon use the guns to defeat the beats but The Guard Captain was resistant to the damage. Despite this Uzi decided to show off her gun which at first was a Shotgun, but Captain Kidd turned it to a purple Railgun with three shots for this base version. Aqua then have Arsene and Zorro finish off with Eiha and Garu.
"I am…a loyal subject…of the glorious King Gaston…" The Captain said as he weakly leans on his horse "So why…have I lost?!"
Uzi readies a pipe and holds it and said grinning "It just proves that Gaston isn't anyone special."
"Maybe…you're right…" The captain said as he transforms back to his Hengeman form and goes unconscious.
Uzi meanwhile pants feeling a bit exhausted she then looks up at Shadow Gaston and asked "…How about that?!"
"Whoa…So Uzi had the potential too…" Gatomon said in shock.
"Even if you apologize now…I ain't forgiving you!" Uzi told Shadow Gaston.
"I told you that this is my castle. It seems you still don't understand…" Gaston said with a smirk. He then motions for someone to the side to approach.
Indeed someone did approach, a girl with long blonde hair wearing cat ears and purple underwear, it was someone Aqua and Uzi both recognize.
"Wh-Alexis?!" Uzi said in shock.
"This is…a surprise…" Aqua said in shock.
"Oh…" Gatomon said seeing 'Alexis' and looked infatuated. "Wha…What a meow-velous and beautiful girl…"
'Alexis' then wraps her arms a bit around Shadow Gaston as Uzi confused said "What's going on?!"
"Wait…something about this seems off." Aqua said recalling earlier today when Alexis looked like she wanted to get away from Gaston.
"Yeah, not that you mention it…" Uzi said now thinking on it "But why is she even here?!" She then sees Shadow Gaston cup 'Alexis'' chin "Hey! Let got of her, you perv!"
"How many times must I tell you until you understand?" Shadow Gaston said to them smirking "This is MY castle a place in which I can do whatever I want. Everyone wishes to be loved by me." He then glares at the three "…That is, everyone besides slow-witted thieves like you."
"Happy to disappoint I think." Aqua said to him.
"Alexis! Say something!" Uzi called out to 'Alexis'
"Calm down, Uzi!" Gatomon said to the Drone girl "It seems that girl isn't the real one. She's the same as those slaces a being made from Gaston's cognition of her!"
"Are you jealous?" Shadow Gaston asked smirking.
"Depends on that, if it's wheather I want to be in her place then no, no way. If I want her then debatable as I don't know her enough for that yet." Aqua said shrugging.
"Well, I'm not surprised." Shadow Gaston said "Woman aren't drawn to problematic people like you."
"Dammit…" Uzi said concerned
"Clean them up this instant!" Shadow Gaston ordered and several more Hengemen appear in an instant in front of the three heroes.
"We're outnumbered…Let's scram before we get surrounded!" Gatomon told the two girls.
"We're not gonna do anything and just run?!" Uzi said in shock.
"We can't die here Uzi" Aqua told her.
"Thank god you've got a level head." Gatomon said to Aqua.
"Grr…Fine." Uzi said accepting the reality. She then glares at Shadow Gaston "We'll expose what you really are, no matter what! You better be ready for us!"
"Hahaha! I was beginning to get bored of torturing the ones here!" Shadow Gaston said smirking "Come at me whenever you want, if you don't care about your life" He laughs but then adds "However this time I won't rely on my Captains to deal with you, this time I will call on my Generals to handle you lot."
"Ignore him. Let's go!" Gatomon told the girls.
"Time to book it!" Aqua said.
With that the three runs for the exit of the castle.
The three made it outside the castle and were panting exhausted as they catch their breath.
"Anyways!" Uzi said recovering a bit and looks at her outfit, wings and the tail and feeling her mask "I don't remember changing into this or having these wings and tail!"
"You know, it looks good on you." Aqua said to her.
"Um…should I be happy about that?" Uzi asked rubbing her head but smiles "…Then again, it isn't as bad as yours."
"Hey, I think I pull the knight look off nicely thank you." Aqua said to her.
"Did you find them?!" A Hengeman's voice is heard calling out from the castle.
"Quiet!" Gatomon said to the two of them.
"No. Search that way!" Another voice from the castle said.
Once they were safe Uzi asked "So what's going on? I am completely lost!"
"I told you before." Gatomon said to her "When a Persona-user opposes a Palace's ruler and becomes a threat to them, this happens. It's to prevent you from being affected by distortions."
"Is this a…circuit shaped like a skull?" Uzi asked feeling her mask.
"Your appearance reflects your inner self." Gatomon explained "It's the rebel that slumbers within…Not that you'll get it."
"Nope…" Uzi said looking down.
"Then stop asking questions and accept what you see for what it is." Gatomon told her.
"That's easy for you to say." Uzi said to him, then her LED eyes go wide and gasps "Wait, we're in deep trouble!"
"I said be quiet!" Gatomon told him.
"What's wrong Uzi?" Aqua asked.
"We might've gotten away here, but we're still screwed with Gaston at the real school…" Uzi explained
"That's quite sharp of you! ...For being an idiot." Gatomon told her "Relax. The Gaston in reality can't possibly know about what happens here. A Shadow is the true self that is suppressed a side of one's personally they don't want to see."
Uzi thinks on it and asks "…So we're, okay?"
"Did the Gaston in reality remember about the execution?" Gatomon asked her. Uzi eyes widen and shakes her head "There you have it."
"All right!" Uzi said smiling "Now that we know that, all we got to do is…"
"Wait. I guided you as promised." Gatomon said stopping them "It's you turn to cooperate with me." Aqua and Uzi look at him confused "That's why I was super nice about teaching you idiots everything."
"Huh? Cooperate?" Uzi asked confused.
"Don't you remember? I originally came here for an investigation." Gatomon explained "I need to erase the distortion from my body and regain my real form! That's why we must delve deep into Mementos and…"
"Whoa, hold up." Uzi said stopping him "What're you going on and on about? We never say anything about helping you out."
"Huh?!" Gatomon said shocked and looked to Aqua "Don't tell me…Are you not going to repay the hospitality I showed you? Especially you! You're going to up and leave, even though you're already part of my master plan?!"
"This is all a bit sudden, let me think it over first." Aqua said rubbing her head.
"Wha-The nerve!" Gatomon said in shock and glares "Is it because I'm not human? Because I'm like a cat?! Is that why you're making a fool of me?!"
"We're busy!" Uzi said to him she then goes smiling and bends down to shake his paw "Thanks for everything, cat. You've got guts, being a cat and all!" She then stands up "See you around!"
"I will think about it!" Aqua said
The two girls then run for the exit to return to the real world.
"Hey! What the heck?!" Gatomon said shocked calling out "Ugh, seriously?! Why're you wrapping this up like everything's all hunky-dory?! Oh heck no! Get back here! Grrr…" He then screams in frustration.
But Aqua and Uzi keep running away from the castle and out of the Metaverse distortion.
Well Uzi has awkaned her Persona and now Shadow Gaston sees them as a threat to rely more on his Generals
