Persona 5 Royal Fanmake Gaston Arc Chapter 26

Gaston/Asmodeus

As the group make it out into the throne room, they near the exit when all of a sudden, they hear a female voice cheer "Go, go! Let's go! Gaston!"

Just then Shadow Gaston leaps up from a hiding spot and spikes a Volleyball at the group knocking the crown out of their hands.

"What the…?!" Uzi said in surprise.

Shadow Gaston then spins over them and lands by his throne, smirking out and reaches out and the crown shrinks to an acceptable size and is force pulled to his hamd while a revieved Princess Alexis, the source of the cheer, runs up and hugs him.

"I won't let anyone take this!" Shadow Gaston said as the group looks round and see the Hengemen take up spots on the balconys and block off the exits spears ready. "This proves that I am the king of this castle, it is the core of this world!"

"That rat jerk…" Alexis said glaring at Princess Alexis "That's how he sees me, isn't it?!"

"Yo, pervert. Were you waiting to ambush us?" Uzi said glaring.

"I just made it easy to find you." Shadow Gaston said with a shrug "After my men and even my useless captains and generals failed to stop you, I've decided to dispose of you myself in front of my troops. Right here, right now."

"That's our line, you sexually harassing jerk!" Uzi told him "Be fun humiliating you in front of your soldiers!"

"What a selfish misunderstanding…" Shadow Gaston said smirking.

"How is it a misunderstanding?!" Alexis asked him glaring "You were doing things that you kept in secret from others!"

"People around me were the ones who kept it secret." Shadow Gaston explained "Adults who want to share in my accomplishments, students who have the drive to become winners…They willingly protect me so that we all may profit from it."

"Profit?!" Uzi asked shocked.

"There are too many imbeciles who don't understand that!" Shadow Gaston said in anger and then puts on a twisted grin "Including naïve brats like you and that girl who tried to kill herself!"

"True, she's a total idiot…letting you manipulate her, trying to commit suicide…" Alexis said but then adds "And I'm even more of an idiot for not realizing that! But no matter what kind of fool someone might be…They don't need your permission to live their lives!"

"Drop the attitude, you mediocre peasant!" Shadow Gaston told her "There is no wrong in using my gifts for my gain! I'm a cut above all other humans!"

"'Above'? You mean beneath. You're a goddamn demon obessed without your sick desires!" Alexis said "Heck I wouldn't put it past you being a demon lord as well!"

Shadow Gaston chuckles evilly as a red and black shadowy aura surrounds him "That's right. I'm not like you…" He said as his voice was his own mixed with a jazz like voice. He grabs a hold of Princess Alexis "I am a demon lord who rules this world!" He points at Aqua "You named be before so I tell you….say that name again!"

Aqua glares and said "Asmodeus…"

Shadow Gaston laughs as both he, Princess Alexis and the crown were consumed by the back mass and get bigger to tower over them.

"Wh-What the robot hell?!" Uzi said as she and the others look in shock.

Shadow Gaston form changers completely his appearance now was a large, vibrantly-colored, burly demon of a staggering posture. He has long arms and digitigrade legs, a broad upper chest and narrow waist, and a tuft of cyan rooster-like tail feathers that have three sickle tail feathers colored red, black and ivory-white. His head is colored dark blue and has large feathers running to his chest. He has glowing neon green eyes and mouth on his main head. He has a thick mane of cyan hair and he wore a navy-blue vest with two pairs of glowing white stripes on the upper half and a red undershirt with blue cuffs that have red heart-shaped cuff links. He also wears a top-hat on his head with red and white head feathers sticking out from its red-colored band, also on the top hat was the crown. On his legs are jagged high-heel shoes that have red-colored tips. He was no longer Shadow Gaston but now Asmodeus.

Next to him floating was a wine glass with a doll of Princess Alexis in the wine. By his feet were several imp like slaves wearing helmets and chains and also a gold trophy with legs coming out of it. He laughs in the Asmodeus voice but still Shadow Gaston's personality.

"I'm allowed to do whatever the heck I want!" Asmodeus said in demonic glee.

"Let's finish this Asmodeus!" Aqua said determined.

"Gaaaaaaaaugh!" He cries out in rage as the fight begins "You goddamn no-good loser brats! Haven't you been taught not to point at people?! Huh?!"

"Look! The Treasure's over there!" Gatomon said pointing to the crown on Asmodeus' head. "We should catch him off guard and steal it! Let's attack him and wait for that opportunity!"

"Minons attack!" Asmodeus said as the imps attack with volleyballs

Aqua then attacks with Angel's bless attack on Asmodeus, Alexis with Carmen's Agi, Uzi with Captain Kidd's Zeo and Gatomon with Zorro's Garu. Asmodeus attacks with Volleyball assault twice on Aqua and Gatomon but the latter dodges in time. The phantom thieves attack with there malee weapons

"Ah, just a quick snack." Asmodeus said as he stabs a claw into the cup, takes out some legs and eats it, healing himself fully. "Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. That hits the spot! Come at me, you pieces of trash! I ain't letting you sleep tonight!"

"He healed himself?" Gatomon said shocked "Is it from eating one of those…things in the trophy? Then we should destroy that first!" He gets hit by a volleyball assult

"Good idea! Berith attack it!" Aqua said nodding.

"On it!" Berith said and Cleaves the trophy

Asmodeus gasped "Hey! You don't know what this is worth, so stop touching it! Don't do it anymore, got it? I've warned you!"

"When someone tells us not to do something, it makes us want to do it even more!" Gatomon said grinning.

Alexis attacks it with her Dual Disk whip, Uzi uses Headbutt from Captain Kidd and Gatomon uses Garu,

"Satisfying…" Asmodeus said and sips the wine and the Alexis doll spitting the doll back into glass and seemingly gets stronger. The attacks with his claw at Gatomon hurting him bad.

Aqua attacks the trophy with her keyblade as does Alexis and Uzi uses an item to heal Gatomon who then finishes the trophy off destroying it.

"…Ack!" Asmodeus cries out in shock "No way…this was from when I won the national…" He sounded sad lowering his guard.

"All right!" Gatomon said smiling and the group surround him guns drawn.

"You think that you can get away with doing such a thing?" Asmodeus told them "Do you realize who I am?! I am Gaston! Don't you get it?!"

"So what?" Aqua said shrugging.

"And you are not Gaston, you are just a Persona that has been corrupted by your wielder's desires Asmodeus" Arsene said to him "But we will help you."

"Huh?!" Asmodeus said shocked "Like I keep saying I am Gaston! I'm the king!"

"I always saw you as a condescending hotshot, but right now…you're just a pathetic loser." Uzi said glaring holding her Railgun.

"Indeed, his owner is nothing but a shark we need to spear!" Captain Kidd said.

"We came all this way to steal that!" Alexis said holding he submachine gun "Will you just give it up and hand it over?"

"You always were always Arrogant Asmodeus but this much is not you" Carmen said.

"Silence! I won't let the likes of you have this!" Asmodeus said in anger

"You still have the energy to say things like that?!" Gatomon said "Then we're going to up our game as well!"

"He's not listening, we have to beat the senses into him" Zorro said.

With that everyone all-out attacks him doing some damage to the Palace ruler.

"I'm the king! If I'm not, then who is?!" Asmodeus said in anger "How dare you keep defyinging me…Looks like I got to bring out the big guns!" He looks to his imps "Slaves! Bring over you-know-what" The imps not and leave the area scared. The demon looks to the phantom thieves smirking "Time for my killshot from when I was active and rocking it! Killshot…as in I'll make the kill!" He looks around "What's the holdup? Where's my ball?!"

Just then a bruised figure holding a ball runs up, it was familiar to the group as it was a figure in grey hoodie and Eevee backpack. It was Penny who said nervous "I-I'm so sorry, King Gaston! I-I have it right here!"

"Too slow Penny! Worthless chump!" Asmodeus said insulting her.

"P-Penny?!" Uzi said in shock as Penny stands to the side of Asmodeus.

"Wait, what?! Why's she here?" Alexis asked confused.

"Calm down." Gatomon said and explained "That's only Gaston's cognitive version of her! It's not the real Penny! It feels a big attack is coming. Keep you guard up!" The group nod and all put up a guard.

"Good, Penny now pass it over to me!" Asmodeus said to her "Don't tell me you can't even do something as simple as that!"

"Here goes!" Penny said and threw up the ball and Asmodeus leaps up and performs his super attack Gold Medal Spike, where he hits the ball like a meteor at the group hurting them all but not too bad.

"I knew it…I can't go all-out with Penny providing the backup." Asmodeus said annoyed. "Hey glasses nerd introvert girl! Get off my court!"

"I-I'm sorry, King Gaston!" Penny said scared running off.

"Next slave, get out here!" Asmodeus ordered "Hurry up with my damn ball!"

Just then another familiar figure shows up with a ball. It was Aoi Asahina but she was dressed in a playball bunny costume. "King Gaston, I've brought you your ball, just like you asked." Hina said smiling at him.

"Now that's a good girl, Aoi." Asmodeus said sounding pleased "Yeah, all women should obey my orders like this ain't that right, sweetheart?"

"N-No way! What's Hina doing here?!" Alexis said shocked.

"Prima, calm down! That's not the real one!" Gatomon told her.

"Y-Yeah, you're right…But this is just…" Alexis said disturbed.

"Bite me, even Aoi too!" Uzi said annoyed "You've gone too far, you piece of scrap!"

Asmodeus chuckles and said "…Ah, I get it! You want to see my killshot again, don't you?"

'Dammit, if we keep attacking Asmodeus Gaston while he's focusing on the killshot, we could be able to stop him…or should we take down the cognitive Hina so he can't get the ball anymore…?' Aqua thinks

"A suggestion my ladyship, taking out the ultimate weapon will be the safe option." Berith said. "Besides it is a cognitive version so it will have no effect on the real one."

"Right, everyone focus on the fake Hina!" Aqua orders drawing her gun.

"All right, let's do this!" Gatomon said.

The four draw the guns and open fire on Hina who cries out as she was fades away when she takes enough damage also Alexis with her submachine gun also did some damage to Asmodeus too.

"Hmph, even Aoi was useless." Asmodeus said annoyed "Looks like I'll have to give her some special instruction later…One-on-one!"

"Gaston, I'll never forgive you!" Alexis said glaring holding back tears.

"Sorry, Aoi…I swear we'll beat that jerk's butt!" Uzi said clenching her fist.

"We won't get anywhere with brute force…" Gatomon said and looks to Aqua. "What do we do?!"

"Hey look!" Pixie said and points to the balcony above. There wasn't a lot of Hengeman there and they were focused on the fight.

"Let's go for the crown." Aqua said for the group.

"I see…In that case, time for Plan B!" Gatomon said seeing it and said to the others "Look over at that terrace, not a lot of Hengemen there. While the others are drawing Gaston's attention, have someone go there! Let's steal the Treasure without him or the guards noticing!" He then attacks Asmodeus.

"What's the matter, slaves?! Hurry up and bring me more volleyballs! I can't serve up my killshot without any balls!" Asmodeus said annoyed and looks at the Hengeman guards who shrug. "Huh?! Did I just…Am I really out of slaves?!" He asked in shock.

"Let's take that crown from him!" Uzi said to Aqua.

Aqua nods and looks at the group, she noticed Asmodeus looking at Alexis so maybe not her and said "Uzi, go."

"Got it, keep him distracted by attacking him!" Uzi said and dashes off to the side and hides behind a pillar

The other three unload Persona spell attacks with Angel, Carmen and Zorro while resisting his claw attack and also healing each other when needed.

"Now listen up. This school exists because I'm around." Asmodeus said looking at the three and not seeing Uzi hiding. "You're the only ones who don't respect me you know!"

"Yeah, whatever you say…" Uzi said rolling her LED eyes. She sees the Hengemen guards were focused on the fight as well. "Anyway. Now's my chance!" She moves and begins climbing.

The fight continues the attacks doing the same attacking with Persona's and healing when they can with the same attacking spell Personas.

"You're misunderstanding it all!" Asmodeus told the group as his health was nearly reduced the half "I haven't sexually harassed anyone! They came on to me because they wanted to get on my good side!" He still hadn't noticed Uzi missing.

"What a complete idiot…" Uzi said hanging on a ledge "But at least it's letting me get closer to the Treasure." She moves up and sees the Hengemen distracted so gets into position.

The group did the same attacks for a third time with Angel, Carmen and Zorro while healing from Asmodeus' attacks.

"Is there one less of you?" Asmodeus asked finally noticing someone was missing "I knew it! That drone freak is missing! Where'd they go?!"

"Took you too long to notice, moron!" Uzi said smirking and before the Hengemen nearby reaction she rears up her mace and jumps over and knocks the crown off his head.

Asmodeus gasp in shock as he cries out as the crown was knocked away and he lost control on his wine glass dropping it. He cries out "Nooo! My…my precious…" He looks down depressed.

"Good, Gaston's shaken up!" Gatomon said smiling.

"I think we can do this!" Alexis said smiling.

Asmodeus was dejected but still attacks with his claws. Aqua attacks with Berith's Cleave, Alexis heals some of her allies and attacks with Agi, Uzi with Captain Kidd's Zio and Gatomon also heals.

Alexis finished Asmodeus with one final Agi, the demon cries out as he falls down and shrinks. The Henegmen look on shocked. Did their king….lose?

The group then seesthe crown shrink down to a size to be picked up. They approach and then see Asmodeus dive and grab the crown. He was now the size of Shadow Gaston but still looked like Asmodeus. In fear he goes to an opening to an outdoor balcony scared but sees no where to escape.

"What's wrong? Not running away?" Alexis asked him serious "Why don't you run? Aren't you a great athlete?"

Asmodeus growls as he then said Gaston's emotions "It's always been like this…all those goddamn hyenas forcing their expectations on me! I'm doing this all for them! What's wrong about demaning a reward for that?!" He slams his free hand into the wall as a fist.

"Now you're making excuses?" Uzi asked him. "We'll do something about that distorted heart of yours."

"Asmodeus, please let us help you." Captain Kidd said "The distortion is corrupting you as well as your user."

"Hrgh…" Asmodeus said clutching his head.

"Scared?" Alexis asked him "Right now, you're seeing the same view that Hina did." She walks up to him as Asmodeus turned to them "I'm sure she was scared too…except she had no choice but to jump…What will you do? Will you jump? Or would you rather die here?"

Alexis summons Carmen who ignites fire in her hands while Asmodeus looks nervous.

"Do you want to finish him off? It's your call." Gatomon said to Alexis.

"No please wait!" Asmodeus said scared "I beg you…Just forgive meee!"

"Shut up. I bet everyone told you the same." Alexis told him. "But you…you took everything from them!"

Carmen hurls one of the fireballs at Asmodeus who shrieks and braces but the fireball hits the wall to the left of him but it was close.

Asmodeus filled with Shadow Gaston's fear kneels down saying scared "I accept defeat…You want this? Take it." He tossed the crown to Aqua who catches it. He then looking down said sadly tears in his green eyes "Go ahead and finish me off…You do that…and my real self my…person I as a being bonded to like Carmen is to you…will go down too…"

Aqua and Uzi look unsure, even if Gaston was a jerk it was clear from hearing there Persona's speak to Asmodeus that the demon Persona was more influenced by Gaston so, they didn't want to kill him despite all he has done as Shadow Gaston.

"You have that right since you've won…" Asmodeus said and Alexis clenches her fist, shemotions her hand and Carmen obays hurling the other fireball at Asmodeus

"Alexis!" Uzi called out.

"Don't do it!" Aqua said.

However the fireball just misses Asmodeus who looks on confused.

Alexis explained as Carmen returns to her mask "If his mind shuts down, he can't admit his crimes."

"Plus you were used unknowingly to hide those Asmodeus, punishing you isn't right." Carmen added.

"You're kind Lady Alexis…" Gatomon said as Zorro nods.

"I've lost." Asmodeus said looking to the ground. "You're through when you lose…What am I…What am I supposed to do now?"

"Atone for your sins." Aqua told him

"I'm sure you can have him do that" Arsene told Asmodeus.

"All right…I will leave now and return to Gaston's real self…" Asmodeus said smiling as he glows "You Personas…I warn you of something, the mess you become involved with is much bigger. But I assure you that I'll make certain that…" With that he fades away in a bright light.

The four main Personas were confused but the others look and see the Hengemen clutch there heads and look around confused, the spell that drew them here was gone. Also the castle begins to shake.

"Hey, just so you know, we don't have much time to waste." Gatomon told them "This place is about to collapse!"

The group watch while Gatomon grooms himself, they see the Hengemen opening portals and going through them, but they closed so they themselves couldn't use them.

"Run!" Uzi called out and the group flee to head to the exit as the castle around them begins to tear itself apart

The group dodge debris falling in their path and Alexis said "We're going to die! We're so going to die!" Just then Gatomon now back in his normal Earth cat form jumps onto her head "Hey, what the…?!"

Gatomon jumps onto Uzi's head and then jumps onto Aqua's shoulder. "No fair, you jerk!" Uzi said in annoyance

"Mrooow!" Gatomon lets out happily.

As they run Uzi looks and feels her leg, the one Gaston damaged that couldn't be fixed begin to seize up and she fell onto the ground.

"Uzi!" Alexis called out as she and Aqua stop running.

"Heh…it's been a while, so I just tripped, that's all!" Uzi assured them as she goes to get up but looks to see the ceiling begin to fall and screams as she hurriedly gets up.

The three run quickly and hurry to a bright doorway and all run through it to try and get to safety.

We come back to the real world, with the group back in their school uniforms in the alley outside the school and panted exhausted.

"That sucked…" Alexis said in some pants.

Uzi recovers and gets her phone out and her eyes widen "Look at the nav!" She told the group.

The others look at the Metaverse navigator on their phones which said, "The destination has been deleted."

"…It's true. We can't go there anymore." Alexis said to to them.

"What about the Treasure?!" Gatomon gasped as indeed the crown was no where in sight.

"Huh?" Aqua said who had the crown but felt something in her pocket that wasn't there before and pulls out a gold medal.

"What the…" Uzi said surprised.

"…A medal? Wait, where'd that crown go?" Alexis asked concerned.

"Okay, what's going on?" Uzi asked.

"It means, that was the source of Gaston's desires." Gatomon said sighing. "Tou him, this medal is worth as much as that crown we saw in the Palace."

"And it was the source of the corruption on Asmodeus" Arsene said to Aqua.

"An Olympic medal…" Uzi said looking at it. "So that perv kept clinging to his past glory and couldn't let it go…"

"But…this means that Gaston's heart might have changed, right?" Alexis asked.

"Probebly." Gatomon said shrugging.

"Our expulsion's on the line here!" Uzi told him.

"This is the first successful example for me too." Gatomon admits but adds "However, there's no doubt that this has affected Gaston's personality quite a lot. The entire Palace disappeared, after all."

"Plus, Asmodeus begin to regain his senses and realize he wasn't really Gaston in the end." Aresene added for Aqua

"Ugh, I feel all antsy!" Uzi groans "Ain't there a way to check now?"

"I am sure we'll know soon enough." Aqua said shrugging.

"Right…" Alexis said looking down and nods.

"Come on, why the gloomy faces?" Gatomon said to them "Be happy! We completed this with gtrat success, you know."

"We just don't know if everything's okay yet…" Uzi told him.

"I'm pretty sure it'll be fine." Gatomon said smiling. "Remember how Gaston's Shadow Asmodeus said that he's returning to his self in reality? We all know Gaston LeGume is scum. Still…Asmodeus did seem to regain Gaston's conscience somewhat before he disappeared."

"I am positive it worked." Aqua said with a nod.

"There are definitely those who have been saved thanks to what you've done." Gatomon said smiling.

"Yeah…" Alexis said with a nod.

"Anyways, I guess we go to wait." Uzi said with a shrug. "it all boils down to what's going to happen to Gaston…or if we're getting expelled for real…"

"We just have to be patient." Aqua said to the group.

Uzi nods "…Right. Come on, let's go home."

The group head home.

Soon Aqua and Gatomon made it to LeBlanc.

"I'm pretty exhausted from going to the Metaverse…" Gatomon admits to Aqua. "Let's just take it easy here instead of going out."

"Agreed" Aqua said nodding. But then she gets a message from Alexis.

"Thanks. I finally got to avenge Hina because of you guys…" Alexis messaged "I'm pretty sure there was no way I'd have been able to do anything on my own. So seriously, thank you. I owe you so much."

"You helped out too Alexis" Aqua messaged.

"You think? I'm glad to hear that…" Alexis replied. "Anyway, that cognitive world was pretty crazy, huh? What a mysterious place. I can't believe we actually stole someone's heart…"

"Speaking of mysterious, there's also the matter of Gatomon's transformation." Alexis points out "When we were escaping, didn't he turn back into a cat even though we were still in the Palace!"

"Lady Alexis sure is sharp! I'm impressed." Gatomon said happily "Basically, the Treasure changes the shape of things. Once that's gone, that power no longer works. Though the real reason I changed quickly back then was because I'm so incredibly skilled! How's that? Isn't that amazing?!"

"He said he's amazing." Aqua just wrote down to Alexis.

"Oh yeah, I forgot Gatomon is reading these messages too." Alexis wrote down. "I think I feel a little better after talking to you. Thanks. We still haven't seen any results, but it feels like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders. I hope you don't mind talking to me too much. Well see you tomorrow."

Aqua heads upstairs and writes in her diary. Gatomon notices and said "Keeping your diary up to date, huh? Well I hope people's opinions of you turn around soon."

"Yeah, let's just relax and watch the rest of X-Folders" Aqua said setting up and the two with the Persona's watch.

"Whoa, whow, why would you preserve alien larvae? Curiosity killed the cat, you know!" Gatomon said as they watch one episode.

"Sometimes people make dumb decisions." Mandrake chuckles

Soon they finished the series and Aqua feels her Guts because of it. She will have to return the DVD soon and rent out something else. She and Gatomon then head for bed.

Here we go the castle is gone. I chose to make some alterations by having the demon forms being corrupted Persona's of the Palace users due to their distorted desires.
