Tales of Demiyah Oliver Book 2: Sailor Moon

Kudos to the Animaniacs fans reading this! Also Sharon was NOT Sharon Firus. She was Tommy's foster sister from before he was adopted. They kept in touch over the years. She's a Blue Lantern for Earth. And an ally of the Justice League.

Chapter 13: Preparing for the Moon, Demiyah's Toon Side Shows!:

Demiyah was sitting in the Gymnasium at Silver Guardians Academy bored to tears. It was an assembly and you would think that it would be amusing. But all she saw was non Education Track and some Education Track Students make fools of themselves. There was a contest to see who could answer the Questions as they were specified. So far no one was getting them as requested. Then to her annoyance, she was picked to come up. If she got it right and how they wanted it, she got a Prize Box. She knew the Prize Boxes were donated by various stores and wealthy benefactors. So no Prize Box was under 100 dollars. She looked at the MC and said, "Lay it on me." The MC shrugged and said, "Your to name the fifty US States and their Capitals. In song." Demiyah looked stunned. She blamed her love of Animaniacs for what she did next. She tapped her Toon Powers for once. Materializing a large United States map with a big black line down the middle. She then materialized a violin and violin bow. She gave a cheeky smile and said, "Okay, here I go!"

Demiyah: Baton Rouge, Louisiana Indianoplis, Indiana

And Columbus is the capital of Ohio

There's Montgomery, Alabama south of Helena, Montana

Then there's Denver, Colorado under Boise, Idaho

Texas has Austin then we go north

To Massachusetts Boston and Albany New York

That's all the Capitals there are

The MC looked at the Judges in shock as he said, "Did you find any mistakes? Cause I hadn't heard one." The Judges all affirmed there were no mistakes. So the MC proclaimed she was victorious. She picked the box that had the Warner Bros. and Disney logos on it. To Demiyah's shock there was a lot of exclusive or previously out of print merchandise inside!

Hop even got his turn to be a cheeky little shit. He had to recite 100 digits of Pi. Which he did to the Nutcracker Suite. Making the teachers visiting from the local Public High School look like they wanted to be sick. If a Second grader could memorize and recite 100 digits of Pi while their students couldn't what did that say about their teaching styles? Leon just watched looking amused to the Wishing Star and back!

As it was a half day, Leon just took the kids to the park to wait for Tommy to finish with work. As Kim and Natsumi would be off a bit later. Leon watched as Demiyah and Hop chased each other on the lawn of the park before they collapsed onto Takuya making the group of kids laugh and giggle. Leon smiled softly at his siblings playing. He felt so free here and not wieghed down by resposibilities of being Champion. Here he was just plain old Leon Dande. He knew his actual last name was Williams, but he was very greatful for the Rangers giving him a legal identity here in case things went to hell and fast that he had to take Hop and run from their home dimension. He also had the needed certification to hold a good job with the Rangers. If need be at some point both himself as well as Hop could easily take what Pokemon they had and just jump dimensions to live here full time. Unlike home where he had absolutely zero sense of direction, he could find places here very easily.

Leon paid for some Sea Salt Ice Creams and the kids happily ate their treat. That day Hop had on a light silver shirt, whitesocks, blue jeans, and white sneakers. Takuya had on a white t-shirt, an orange sleeveless hoodie, blue denim shorts, orange socks, and red sneakers along with his goggles. Denki had on a green shirt, brown shorts, a white vest, white socks, and green sneakers. Demiyah had on a pink shirt depicting Hamtaro on a sunflower, a blue vest with a hood, grey kapri pants, white socks with pink hearts, white sneakers with pink stripes, her Pegasus Miraculous, her dino bracelet, her pink goggles, and her communicator. Leon had on a simple red shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and his favorite hat. Leon kicked back and thought about the upcoming trip to the remains of the Moon Kingdom. He knew that things would be in ruins and they would possibly find corpses of the Scouts previous selves. Which is why Demiyah had suggested a sleepover. It would be the best way to help cope with the trauma.

After Demiyah's parents got off of work, the family of seven sat down to talk logistics of the Moon Trip. Tommy said, "Obviously we all can't go. Even if it's a weekend." Natsumi said, "Not necessarily Tommy. All we have to say is we're going out of town with the girls and kids for a day. I know of some Magical Theme Parks nearby who would be willing to vouch for us. Since they can't have typical Security Systems. It works for us since most Civilians aren't allowed in certain Theme Parks." Kimberly replied, "That would be our best bet. Like say since Krista is like an older sister to Demiyah we wanted to take her and her friends with us. Seeing as the Other Dino Teens were talking about who would go with them. Andros is taking them on the Astro Megaship. But the real issue is, how would we explain the trauma?" Demiyah was at a loss as were most of the others. Tyson who had walked in with his dad said, "It's easy. Their teenagers and they have powers right? Powers grow and change right. There could have been a major surge in Magic they werent prepared for. Magic can sync with close friends right? It's a legitimate explanation. Plus Auntie Natsumi is from a long Magical Lineage. So she could use the Sleepover angle to sit the girls down and explain." Hop said, "Tyson, that genius. It's openly possible and it also covers why teenage girls are staying over at a random person's house on a weekend!"

The Silver Dino Ranger smiled glad he could be an equal for once. That night Demiyah saw the first snow of the year making her glad that Christmas was on it's way. It was special for the Oliver family each year. They decorated the whole house! Even the bedrooms. They got a beautiful tree every year and Demiyah got to make a gingerbread house with her parents with christmas specials airing on tv.

Christmas morning Kimberly would make cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, and bacon for breakfast. She would have coffee for her and Tommy and Hot Chocolate for Demiyah to drink. They would eat breakfast in the kitchen then they would open presents. It was an event every year. Lunch would be sandwhiches made from cold cuts bought the previous day, chips, and fruit salad. Then Tommy's parents would come over. More presents would be opened, dinner would be had, Demiyah would sing christmas songs, and they would wrap things up by watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas first the animated one then the 2000 live action version. When it was bedtime, Tommy and Kimberly would tuck in Demiyah and tell her the story of how they and the other rangers saved Christmas and Santa from Zedd and Rita. It was a wonderful time in the Oliver Household. Demiyah usually made gifts. But now that she had money of her own she could go shopping for gifts on her own.

Demiyah went to bed dreaming of her first christmas with her Scouts. The dream making her smile in her sleep.
