Chapter 15: Blue Clues, Mystery Cruise!
Demiyah woke up one Saturday morning feeling something odd in the air. Hop who was staying with her family due to Autumn break commented on it as did Leon. The trio of siblings were baffled by the feeling since none of them could pinpoint this kind of magic. It made them concerned. Yes the Crescent Moon Wand could track the Crystals, but the revelation that they being of Lunar Blood could sense the carriers? That was a frightening thought. What scared them is they had no clue who the last three carriers could be. Tommy came in with the mail and in it were three invites to a 'Magical Mystery Cruise Spectacular' which was a cruise that doubled as a Magical Mystery Theater event. The invitations allowed them to bring a plus one. So Tommy, Kimberly, and Natsumi would be Demiyah, Leon, and Hop's plus one's. Leon wasn't comfortable using the Dragon morpher again so soon, so he was given a temporary Miraculous. The Miraculous of the Dolphin. It enabled him to breath underwater when transformed. The power was that of Indecision which worked similar to the Pokemon Move Confusion.
Demiyah got ready for the cruise but slipped a pokeball Leon insisted she carry with her. In it was his Cinderace. Hop had been handed his Intelleon. Leon gave both Ciderace and Intelleon strict orders to obey Demiyah and Hop as if they were him. Hoever if they could sense either were in danger then they were to attack whoever was putting them in danger and get them out of there. Dynamax and Gigantamax were out of the picture. But they just had to be clever.
That evening, Demiyah stuck close to her group. Some of the other Scouts had scored invites as well. Bringing those in their group who weren't invited as their plus one. Several others including the Dino Thunder Rangers, Sharon the Blue Lantern, and a man who called himself Tenku no Touma also recieved invites. Natsumi said Tenku no Touma was familiar to her but she wasn't sure how. Which made Leon decide to tail him briefly. Demiyah was practically glued to Natsumi. Since she kept getting the same uneasy feeling she usually got when Caroline was around. She caught a glimpse of a woman who looked like Caroline at first glance. The only difference was the fact she had red highlights in her hair and blue eyes as opposed to Caroline's brown eyes and dark brown hair. Still the woman gave her the heebee jeebies!
The MC was a woman with blonde hair in a light blue gown. She spoke and said, "Welcome to our Magical Mystery Cruise Spectacular. Tonight we have a variety of magical mysteries and even child friendly mysteries for the younger guests. Dinner will be served in the dining hall buffet style at seven. We will dock back in Reefside by no later than ten. Enjoy your night." Natsumi insisted on staying with Leon, Demiyah, and Hop. Playing it off as worry for her daughter due to fequent monster attacks. Leon said it was because Hop was still adjusting to living away from their hometown. What with major anti-magic/mutant/meta supporters there. He wasn't used to not having to hear hate speech against those with powers. The staff obliged but Demiyah could tell the redish-brown haired woman wasn't happy. Demiyah found the kid friendly mysteries too easy as did Hop. So Leon suggested they walk around the ship. Demiyah made the excuse of needing to use the restroom and Natsumi took her. Once in the bathroom, Demiyah said, "Something doesn't feel right here Mama. That lady with the redish-brown hair is nearly a dead ringer for Caroline. Same feelings crop up whenever we look at each other too. Plus the MC looks a little to similar to Zoicite for comfort. What if this is a ploy to find another Rainbow Crystal Carrier?" Natsumi said, "I guess you could be right. After all disguise magic is a common practice. So the woman could be Caroline under a spell to disguise herself."
Dinner was served and Demiyah barely ate anything just picking at her food. Tommy and Kimberly both took that as a sign something was up. Using the morse code on the Scout Communicators, Tommy passed on the message something was up. So their group didn't eat very much playing off as minor sea sickness. The woman with redish-brown hair slipped something in Demiyah's food and to her delight the raspberry haired girl ate it. Then the lights went off. All of the kids who ate what the woman put in their food passed out and the staff carried the kids out of the dining room. The woman carrying Demiyah smirking. The MC said, "Caroline, the room is prepped for your use." Caroline and it did turn out she used disguise magic replied, "Why thank you Zoicite. I did so like working with you." She plopped Demiyah into a vacant chair. greedily looking at her estranged granddaughter. The pink haired girl looked up groggily asking, "Why?" Caroline said menacingly, "Why it's quite simple my dear. As you were born with flawless looks and I was not, I disliked you. So, since the adults are locked in the dining room and the kids are in another room out cold, no one can stop me." She held a syringe in her hand and said, "In this syringe is a potion. Once injected, you will feel pain if you go against the order it was brewed for. I brewed it with the intention to order you to get braces and one other thing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Cure again. Now seeing as you'll be passing out again, I hope you enjoy these last moments of freedom." Demiyah passed out again and Caroline swabbed her arm. But before she could inject the potion, an arrow destroyed the syringe. A flash of blue blurred in front Caroline scooping up Demiyah. Fleeing before she could make sense of what happened. Caroline tied with chains.
Tommy, Kimberly, Natusmi, the Dino Rangers, Sharon, the Scouts, and Leon scoured the rooms of the ship until they found the kids. But Leon looked around and said, "Hey wait a minute. Demiyah's not here! Oh Arceus, that lady she brought up it was Caroline!" Kimberly said, "We have to find her. We don't know what she plans on doing to Demiyah aside from the obvious."
Demiyah groaned as she came to. A cold compress on her forhead. A man with blue hair and blue eyes. He almost looked like Amy! He said in a brooklyn accent, "You okay missie? That woman was messed up." Demiyah laid back down, "Tell me about it. She tried the illegal mutant cure when I was five. When she knew I was allergic to three out of the five components." The man said, "Shoulda knocked her out too. Names Rowen Hashiba. Ronin Warrior of Life and bearer of the Armor of Strata. You are the daughter of my Wildfire Ryo Sanada. Though he changed his name to Kasai Motomiya when his fan girs refused to believe he was married to his wife Natsumi Shirogane. Now Natsumi Motomiya. My partner Cye Mouri is searching for the ringleader of this whole fiasco. Sage Date and Kento Rei Faun are with White Blaze on the main land waiting by the pier along with both Mia Koji and Yuli Yamano. Yuli is the keeper of the Jewel of Life. Though it's called The Celestial Orb here. As it's sister Jewel of Life resides in another World." Demiyah who accepted the bottle of water asked, "Why did you step in like you did?" Rowen chuckled, "You are Wildfire for your generation. Until your Rekka Yoroi are found and trained, my brothers in arms and myself will be by your side. We owe that much to Ryo by protecting his daughter when we couldn't even stand by him." A brunette man came in and said, "No luck on the ring leader. So your Wildfire's little girl huh? I'm Cye Mouri Ronin Warrior of Trust and Bearer of the Torrent Armor." Cye ruffled her raspberry colored hair as she felt warmth and somehow she knew that these men were trustworthy. Demiyah said, "Everyone in the dining room their in danger! Zoicite she's the ring leader but she's being controlled, she's trying to collect the Seven Rainbow Crystals to reforge the Imperial Silver Crystal. I have four of them. Guarding them for the Moon Princess. She's probably after the Blue Crystal which represents Loyalty. It would explain why the main color of the decor was blue. It was an obvious jab." Cye said, "Well what are we waiting for a DJ Shout out? Armor of Torrent, Tao Shin!" Water and light blue energy swirled around him as armor appeared on his body a trident in his hand. Rowen said, "Demiyah, are you okay to stay here? Armor of Strata, Tao Inochi!" Wind and dark blue light swirld around him forming dark blue armor a bow in his hand while there was a quiver on his back. Demiyah stood up, "Just because I'm a kid, don't underestimate me boys. Moon Prism Power!" Pink light glowed around Demiyah as she transformed into Sailor Moon. Cye smirked as he and Rowen said, "I can work with this!"
The trio ran back to the dining room to fight Zoicite. As a man very familiar to Natsumi, her younger brother Takashi was turned into a Shadow Warrior. He looked like an anthromorphic black lion creature. Rowen snatched the blue crystal from Zoicite as Cye and Sailor Moon fought the Shadow Warrior. Rowen was battling against Zoicite to weaken her enough for Demiyah to heal her along with the Shadow Warrior. Unfortunately Zoicite was getting the upper hand. Leon had the Dolphin Kwamii Lorca by his side, "Lorca Submerge!" Leon turned into a dolphin hero. He said, "Call me Kleos. Don't ask." Rowen said, "Moon's old man had some odd friends with even odder transformations. I don't intend to."
Zoicite was knocked into the Shadow Warrior as Moon held the wnd out, "Moon Healing Activation!" Light left the wand healing both Zoicite and the Shadow Warrior revealing a blonde girl and Takashi returned to normal. The girl came to first. "What did I do?!" Moon asked, "So what's your name? Any family in Reefside?" The girl said, "I'm Zaeda Smith. The younger sister of Terrence Smith." Tommy said, "Your Smitty's sister who went missing last year. I'll call him and Garrett. They can meet us at the pier. Now to sail this boat home." Cye having returned to his normal state was sailing the boat. Rowen who also transformed back said, "He came from a naval family. So he knows how to sail any kind of boat. Also a side effect of his armor."
Demiyah watched as SPD Personel carted off Caroline and the Orthodontist she had brought with her. They got rid of all the equipment including confiscating the potion she intended to use. Demiyah shivered at the thought if Rowen hadn't intervened when he did, who knows what would have happened. After buying a lot of McDonalds as that was one of the only places open at that time of night, the Oliver family and their guests returned to the Oliver family home. Rowen, Cye, Sage, Kento, Yuli, and Mia each told Demiyah about the Ronin Warriors and their battles. White Blaze who was capable of speech said after Tommy voiced difficulty in getting papers for a Tiger, "I can take a smaller form. Making myself look like a cat. She already has Artemis. Just say I'm a therapy animal." White Blaze shrunk down looking to be a male cat about Artemis' size. Demiyah saying she would register White Blaze as a Family Guardian Familiar. Which meant he could effectively do more. Compared to say Artemis or Koori who was Amy's familiar. Guardian Familiars were Familiars that protected you. Family one's showed high status and old magic.
Demiyah after everything was said and done, sat on the roof just overwhelmed by what transpired today. Her Pikachu plush in her arms. Leon sat down next to her asking, "Really feel upset don't ya? You only really sit on the roof stargazing when your upset." Demiyah shuddered, "Lee, Caroline was so damn close to winning. I knew what she intended to have the second order be because of my empathy. Darien was waiting there. He happens to be Endymion's reincarnation. She would have made me us an aging potion that would last long enough for Darien to rape me with a spell that would garuntee he got me pregnant irregardless if I hit puberty. So I would be ordered not only to let him rape me then and there, but I would be forced to go through with the pregancy while he would rape me whenever he wanted. She would have given me a second injection of the same potion just a different intention. I would be forced to drink a permenant potion to look old enough to marry Darien and bear his heirs until he had as many as he wanted. Then I would be given the cure and wait until I died from the allergic reaction. Once that happened Caroline would have a sorcerer revive me, but keep me under her thrall until she got everything she wanted. Darien was thankfully arressted, but he works for Diomedes. So does Caroline. So he has to have someone breaking her out of jail so often. I just, want to be left alone by Caroline and Darien." Leon said, "I'll deal with this kiddo just leave it to me."
Leon having gotten permission to what he planned slipped into the Ranger Prison. He asked to borrow the Sword of Darkness and the Jaguar Miraculous. Demiyah didn't ask but obliged in giving the items in question to him. Leon while using the Jaguar Miraculous he was able to slip into Darien's cell. With the silent effectiveness of a shinobi, Leon killed Darien with the Sword of Darkness. He slipped into Caroline's cell and drugged her with a similar potion she intended to drug Demiyah with. He said, "You will leave Demiyah alone for minimum two years. If you make any attempts to pull what you tried tonight, the magic used to do this will bring about your defeat every time. Try this a month before she turns fifteen, you will die. Whether by my hand or a Justice League villain." The magic used in the order sealed binding the spell.
Tommy saw Leon come in. The Legendary Ranger asked, "So what did you do exactly?" Kimberly, Natsumi, Rowen, Kento, Cye, Sage, Mia, Yuli, Hop, Takuya, and even Denki looked at the Galar Champion. Leon replied, "I killed Darien. Though knowing Diomedes, he'll find a way to revive Darien. I also used a spell to seal Caroline's fate while giving Demiyah two years minimum breathing space. She keeps it up, Caroline will feel every bit of pain she put Demiyah through three fold in the dream world. She tries something within a month of her fifteenth, somehow she will die. If not by my hand then by the hand of a Justice League villain." Denki sighed, "I would tell you off, but given how shaken she was when we got home, good on ya!" Natsumi said, "I agree. You really gave our little girl some peace of mind."
Leon slept knowing he had killed someone, but couldn't bring himself to give a damn. Darien when looked into was a criminal. Raping and murdering girls with blone hair and blue eyes. Or some shade of pink hair and amber eyes. All Leon did, was bring an end to a serial killer.
Queen Serenity knew that Leonidas the Knight of Retribution and Justice would rise again very soon. Darien's pressence just kickstarted the process sooner rather than later as Caroline might have hoped. She knew nudging him to following Hop and Trista that day was the right call.
Diomedes aka Xehanort snarled as he realized he would have to revive Endymion. The ingredients alone would be hard to get. Plus with his soul marked, the Knight of Retribution could find him anywhere no matter what World. So he couldn't be sent on damn missions! Damn that Leonidas! He was outfoxed!. Not that Diomedes ever cared to remember that Leonidas had been the Fox Miraculous holder during the SIlver Millennium. Leonidas or just Leon and Trixx got along like a house on fire. They rubbed off on each other a lot. But that would come into play later.
