I was back at home at the castle on Skald Island after being stuck on Cordell Island. With most of my days helping out with the younger children, I watched in the distance as I noticed Aora and Ghimru outside on the beach enjoying the summer that warmed up slightly, but not too hot while the northern wind did its work on keeping the weather just right. I didn't mind them being outside as I also noticed the two Draaza boys that Ravenna had as they were playing on the beach making sand castles. Both boys had different combs on their heads as the older had a navy one while the other had a burgundy one while wearing summer clothes. What I also noticed was that Gyatso was supervising everything as he was starting like to act like a big brother while Dirk was busy prepping for the exam to join the Hunter Corps, for he was starting to become more mature than what I anticipated.

When I went outside, I saw Dirk sitting on the steps that led to the beach as he was busy reading a manual that explained the details about joining the Hunter Corps. Even though he was sixteen, he was more than ready to take the exam as I didn't stop him, for he already had his fair share of battles so far.

"So, the boy is already becoming a man," I said.

"Sorry, but I've been busy reading my studies just to be a part of the Hunter Corps," said Dirk.

"You'll be a formidable soldier and I'm so proud of you taking this path."

"I'm taking this path because I have a family to protect in the Order of Letters. Still, if I'm accepted into the Hunter Corps, I'm gonna have to study into further lore and how to kill monsters who prey on the innocent."

"Being a hunter isn't about taking out monsters, it's about seeing through to the truth of things before judging."

"I know that you didn't join the Hunter Corps, but Dean did."

"Dean joined because I asked him to in which he had to do more than just worry about me too much and that was when we were living at the fort on Gehenna for so many years."

"And I'm about to take up the mantle once I pass the test, but I'm also afraid of leaving the other kids alone due to the fact that I'm the big brother in the family."

"Gyatso will fit the mold once you join the Hunter Corps. He may not look it, but he ages slower than normal humanoids in which he fits right in with the other children. As for you, you'll do fine because I have faith in you, for you'll be one of the best soldiers once you pass everything."

Dirk was relieved to hear my words of wisdom as I was confident that he would be ready to take the Hunter Corps exam. Still, he was young, but I also didn't want him to grow up too fast in which he had so much to do before he reached true manhood, for he also had his family with him till the end…

Dean was busy cleaning up the Impala as it was looking better than ever. Even though he was going through a rough patch, he had to focus on his future and the safety of his children as he vowed to never wallow in sadness again. When he saw Ravenna coming towards the citadel that he was in, he was pleased to see her here as she was also wanting to know more about him, for she was chosen by the Rakuen Priesthood to help him heal his broken heart while getting justice for Magda's death.

"Nice car," she said to him.

"It's a classic," said Dean as he was finished with keeping the Impala clean.

"You take care of it like you do with your kids and unit."

"Yeah, but I kind of went off the rails after what happened at the base in the Dabb Mountains on Shiganshina. As for the asshat who killed Magda, I'll be glad to kick his ass the next time I see him and I'll even tear a hole in his pants for good measure. He's dangerous, but I won't stop until I get justice for what he did to not only Magda, but what he tried to do to our boy."

"Ravenna! What the hell are you doing here by enticing a married man?!"

Margo arrived at the wrong time as she was not too happy with Ravenna for coming over to visit Dean, which was a friendly conversation. She didn't want her to get too cozy with him she also didn't want her to marry him, either. Still, she couldn't let Ravenna marry Dean as she grabbed her by the arm and led her out of the citadel the moment she was struggling to get free. She wasn't too happy with her mother as she also didn't want her to meddle in her affairs, for she had her own life and not spend the rest of her days being a widow with two children in tow.

"Let me go!" she yelled as she glared at Margo.

"You can't marry him because he's married!" she yelled as Ravenna broke free.

"If he's still married, then how come he lost his wife? I heard Sam talking about how he found Dean in a bar while he drank his sorrows away after his wife was murdered. He even said that there was trash in the Impala before he cleaned it up."

"That's a lie and you know it!"

"No, Mum…, it wasn't a lie when I heard about how his wife was murdered by Jacob Doran in which most of the galaxy issued an outstanding warrant against him for his constant acts of terrorism. Dean's had worse than I did, but I won't let him sink into despair like that."

"You're wanting to marry him, aren't you? Doing so will spit in Rovadra's face and dishonor his memory! Go ahead and marry him, but it's best that you don't. If you did that, then I will take Revata and Rohidra away from you, mark my words."

"Rovadra's gone, Mum! He's never coming back!"

"Don't you dare talk about your husband like that!" Margo slaps Ravenna in the face as she felt humiliated by her words. "I won't let you bring shame and dishonor on our clan like that, is that understood?! Sooner or later, you will find out that I was right all along. You will find out that I hold the upper hand on you and your children in which I won't relinquish my control over you. All good children should listen and put trust in their parents, not strangers!"

Ravenna left the citadel in disgust as Margo stood there with a smile on her face. She had won the battle, but not the whole thing as she spotted Dean coming out of the citadel in which he wanted to know where Ravenna was. When he spotted Margo still standing, she was glaring at him as she didn't want anyone to take Ravenna's hand in marriage, for she refused to give up on her crusade to keep her daughter and her children under her feet.

"Where's Ravenna?" he asked.

"She went back to your brother's castle to check up on a few things," said Margo.

"I hope that she does 'cause I'm starting to like her."

"Renounce your claim to my daughter or else I will take away my grandsons back to Essos so she could never see them again!"

"Then I won't marry her if that pisses you off really bad. All she wants is freedom to talk to everyone instead of being trapped in a cage."

"I'm telling you this as a warning, Dean; stay away from my daughter or else I'll take away her sons so that she could never see again, mark my words."

Dean saw Margo leaving as he was reminded of how he lost Magda while clutching at her wedding ring that he had around his neck. Still, he wanted to console Ravenna as he saw her looking for her sons in which he noticed a few drops of rain pouring down. When he found her at one of the benches, he wasn't about to let her out of his sight, but he also vowed to never marry again as he wanted to help her get through her own grief, for he was hurting just as much as she was.

"Your mom's a bitch," he said.

"She says that all good children listen and trust their parents instead of strangers," said Ravenna as she was feeling at where Magda slapped her. "I know that you'll never marry me because Mum said that would dishonor my late husband's memory." She breaks down in tears as she couldn't hold her insecurities inside forever. "She doesn't get it! She doesn't get that I'm still grieving over Rovadra, but she won't allow anyone to marry me and if I did that, then she'll take away my boys back to our homestead on Essos."

"Not all good children listen to or trust their parents 'cause the King of the Grey Havens didn't listen to or trust his own father, who happens to be Lucifer, who's spending his days in his cage."

"I see what you mean, but I hope that we both overcome our sadness and cooperate for better terms ahead."

Dean and Ravenna saw a few raindrops falling all over as they had to find Revata and Rohidra before the weather got worse. Still, they had to get them to safety as they also had to return just in time for lunch, for they needed to have better stability instead of being under the watchful eye of their grandmother on the horizon...

Gyatso was busy on the beach as he was looking for seashells that washed up on the shore, but to no avail. Even though he was concerned about Dirk joining the Hunter Corps, he was also trying his best to be the big brother in his absence in which he kept an eye on Aora and Ghimru, who were having their hands full with some of the sand dollars that they found on the beach. He didn't mind them as they were also getting to know Ravenna's sons who were making sand castles in which they loved their mother very much, but were afraid of their grandmother, Margo. One of the boys, Revata, was mainly a builder as he wanted to make a great sand castle while the other one, Rohidra, was wanting to add a few seashells to what was built. When they heard the lunch bell ring, they were ready to come into the castle in which they also spotted Margo standing in the distance plotting her latest move to derail Ravenna's happiness. Both Revata and Rohidra didn't want anything to do with her as they ran from the castle path with Gyatso and the oldest twins following them. They feared Margo more than anything as she was a dominant force in the family they were in after the death of their father from cancer two years ago, for they didn't want her involved in their lives too much. When they went towards part of the Inland District, they noticed a back area that was surrounded by growth of many things that have either gone to seed or having their food picked at random. When they found a shed, they entered into it as it was empty, but had some pumpkins growing just in time for the holidays, for it was about to rain when the weather was getting cloudy.

"I just wish that Granny would've stayed on Essos," said Revata as he was not too thrilled with having her around. "She always ruins everything for our mom and it's not fair that she has to suffer after Dad passed away!"

"I heard Reiko talking about how your grandma often stands in your way all the time," said Gyatso.

"I hate Grandma!" yelled Rohidra. "I wished that she stayed behind on Essos instead of making our mom miserable all the time! As for that guy who's engaged to our mom? It's been said that he lost his wife at the hands of those bad people who attacked his base on Shiganshina. He seems okay and I've seen him with his own kids, but he's always sad all the time."

"Sam told me how he found Dean at one of those places for grown-ups in which he looked miserable, but I hope that he's okay."

It wasn't long until Aora and Ghimru went further to the walls of the shed as they noticed something out of the ordinary. What they didn't expect was that there was a toilet that was unused and uninstalled as it wasn't white like the others. It was a toilet that was golden as it had a metallic shine all over it, including the seat. They never saw anything like it before as the noticed a moth flying on it until it ended up turning into gold when it landed on the porcelain throne. Still, they were afraid of sitting on it after what happened earlier, for the toilet itself was a cursed object in a nutshell. It wasn't long until Dirk caught up to them as he saw the golden toilet in which he never expected it to be in this shed, for it was also something that had to be put away from prying eyes.

"Sam's been looking for you guys," he said.

"We found a toilet made of gold," said Aora.

"But it's no ordinary toilet," said Ghimru as he saw the moth that was turned to gold on the ground.

"What's that?" asked Revata as he spotted the toilet.

"That's no ordinary toilet," said Dirk. "Therefore, none of us can't take a dump on it 'cause of the fact that you might end up turning into gold if any of us did that."

"There is a set of restrooms by the shed," said Gyatso.

"Can we tinkle in it?" asked Rohidra as he noticed the golden toilet.

"No, but we can use the restrooms next to the shed. I know that we found a gold toilet, but we can't sit on it so we won't turn into gold like that moth."

Dirk examined the golden toilet carefully as he saw it to be very unusual in which he spotted some other insects being turned into gold like that moth. Still, he never saw anything like it before as he also wanted to tell me the tale about what was found in the shed, for this was something that was odd while it stood out with uncertainty in mind.

"That's one tricked-out toilet," he said.

"It's a shame that you can't tinkle or take a dump in it," said Gyatso.

"The moth wasn't the only victim who turned to gold in which I spotted some other insects that had their fair share of buzzing around the golden throne."

"Then we're not tinkling in it!" yelled Ghimru.

"We can tinkle in the restrooms," said Rohidra as he was starting to feel the urge to use it.

"I gotta go pee," said Revata.

"We all have to pee," said Aora.

"Hey, if we gotta use it, then let's do it in the restrooms and not in a gold toilet," said Dirk.

It wasn't long until Dirk led the boys away from the shed and into the restrooms that were there. When the boys went into the men's room, they took their time to relieve themselves in which they later washed their hands and left afterwards. When they returned to the shed, they saw that the toilet was intact as nothing happened to it yet, for they also had to safeguard it so that the Hunter Corps could find it before anything else happened.

"This is so wrong," said Dirk.

"What's all wrong?" ashed Rohidra.

"I was busy reading something out of the Appendices in the sitting room in which the Winchesters of Old once dealing with a golden toilet."

"What are you talking about?" asked Gyatso.

"I'm talking about how a golden touch ended up turning a toilet from a white one to what we noticed in front of us today. It's weird how something like that could turn anything into gold, but as soon as the Hunter Corps arrive to take the porcelain express out of the shed, the better."

Dirk stared at the golden toilet as he had to tell me about it right away. Still, he also had to get the rest of the boys out of the shed as he spotted Dean's unit bursting into it the moment they spotted the golden toilet that was there. The boys noticed some of the soldiers using warding material to shield and seal the toilet in which it was about to be archived, for it was a very dangerous one to sit on to take a dump in. By the time I got there, I was ready to escort the boys back to the castle as I also noticed the rain coming down, for I had to round them up and get to safety soon enough.

"It's about time that I found you," I said.

"I hope that we don't see another golden toilet again," said Gyatso.

"There won't be 'cause it's going to the archives," said Dean as he entered into the shed.

"Uncle Dean!" yelled Ghimru as he rushed towards him.

"You went on another adventure, didn't you?"

"There you two are!"

Ravenna rushed to the shed as she found Revata and Rohidra safe and unharmed. What she didn't expect was that Dean was there as he was directing his unit to secure the golden toilet out of the shed. Still, she was aware that her sons ventured off with Gyatso and his group as she also wanted them to socialize with everyone instead of being under the umbrella of Margo, for everyone was ready to go home after what was found earlier…

Two thousand years into the past…

Sam and Dean were driving the Impala as they arrived in Santa Fe in which they read up on what happened earlier. The reports about a man being turned to gold stunned them as they got out of the Impala and went to the morgue the moment they were dressed in their fake Federal suits while flashing their fake badges. The coroner noticed them directly as he showed them to the body that was on the table instead of the usual cubbie holes where the bodies were stored after death, for this was a very unusual case indeed.

"Agents Plant and Bonham, I presume?" he said to them.

"We're here to examine the body," said Dean as he saw it on the table.

"Be my guests, gentlemen. This is one of the worst cases I've ever saw before."

Dean spotted it first as it was that of a man that was turned to gold while a blanket was covered on his crotch while his legs were arched up with his knees bent. It was a weird sight as Sam tilted the body up to a sitting position as he also spotted the pants that were down to the ankles while they were also turned into gold, for this was a weird position to see so far.

"He must've been that way after taking a dump," said Dean as he also noticed a newspaper that was turned into a gold plating in the victim's hands. "He really enjoyed reading the sports section, but something's a little off."

"This is weird, but the guy who sent you here wants you to meet him at the library after this," said the coroner. "Still, I never saw anything like it before as if the body is in a suspended state while taking a dump."

Sam looked at his cellphone as he saw a text message that read, "Meet me in the library," in bold letters. When he left the morgue with Dean following him, they got there as they spotted a familiar benefactor sitting there at a table in which he was reading on the perks of Greek mythology, for he had to tell them about what was actually going on.

"Long time, no see, boys," he said.

"Mr. Sakane," said Sam as he spotted him directly. "It's been a while."

"You guys may not know is that the body in the morgue is still alive, but in suspended animation in which the perp had a knack for turning things into gold."

"It's the Midas touch, isn't it?"

"What? Are you saying that a car care company did that to our guy?" asked Dean.

"Not the car care company, but I'm talking about the story of King Midas and his obsession and greed for turning things into gold after he was blessed by the demigod, Dionysus, but it was labeled a curse so badly that the guy couldn't eat or drink anything. He even turned his own daughter into gold without warning."

"You know your Greek mythology, Sam," said Sakane. "As for the touch that Midas endured, he went to Dionysus again and wanted his gift removed by washing it away in the Pactolus River while it gave the water and fish a glittery golden glow. After that debacle, he never wanted to touch gold again as he lived humbly instead of living with greed."

"That's how it is, for greed can also be a curse in a nutshell," said Dean.

"That's not the end of the story, Dean. After King Midas relinquished his powerful golden touch, an artefact emerged in the form of a hand that was made with gold while encrusted with gemstones in which it was a cursed artefact that should've never been tampered with. It's been known as the Hand of Midas in which its power was lusted after throughout the centuries in which the last ones who coveted it were the same ones that your Jewish friend and Sluggo wannabe went up against. The Thule Society got a hold of the Hand of Midas just to turn everything into gold on inanimate objects, but on their enemies and prisoners as well. From what I gathered, the Bass Family took back the Hand of Midas and gave it to the Men of Letters for safe keeping until someone took it from the compartment of cursed objects like that rabbit's foot that you got rid of."

"Where did it go?"

"You should find it where the victim went in which it'll be an easy one to check out." Sakane fished out a small bar of soap as it had the words, "Onyx Hotel," on it. "The motel is right by a dive bar known as Cactus Flats Bar and Grill. You better get your asses there and check it out right away. That artefact is highly dangerous in which it can't be put in the wrong hands due to the fact that it not only touches things and turns them into gold, but also causes a curse on the one who obtains it for their personal gain. We can't let that happen, for it's best that we keep it sealed away." Sakane fishes out a crystal vial as it contains a glowing water that was in it. "This vial contains the water of Pactolus in which it can be used just in case that someone is inflicted by the golden touch that King Midas once had. It's best that you keep this on you just in case, gentlemen."

And so, Sam and Dean followed Sakane's orders as they had to find and retrieve the Hand of Midas in which it was a cursed object in a nutshell. Still, they had to go up against whoever took it as the artefact itself had the power to turn anything into gold, for this was something that couldn't be taken lightly. With the Waters of Pactolus in their possession, both Winchester brothers were ready to find and get back the Hand of Midas away from prying eyes and flighty hands, for it was something that had to be put away from further messes...

Later on in the afternoon, Sam and Dean stopped at the Onyx Hotel as they got out of the Impala and went inside of it. The place itself was a hog heaven of sorts as it had plenty of memorabilia that stemmed from the Supernatural books that were popular so far in which they noticed a hispanic woman wearing a pair of gloves rushing into the hotel in which she was looking for something in particular. The woman herself was medium height as she was dressed as a hotel maid while she was shaking in fear about what she found and hid, for she was scared to death about what happened earlier. Both Sam and Dean followed her into the men's room as she was looking into the stalls to find out what she was looking for. When they caught up to her, she stumbled as she fell to her knees the moment her flesh touched the floor while it turned into gold, for she was cursed with what she had earlier.

"Please, I just want what I put in here earlier," she said.

"You're very shady for a cleaning lady," said Dean.

"Look, you don't know what I found, do you? I just want to find it, that's all."

"What are you looking for?" asked Sam

The scared woman with the golden touch went to the last stall where a golden toilet stood in which she lifted the lid of the tank part the moment she got out the Hand of Midas while wrapping it up in a cloth that ended up turning to gold while stuffing it in her purse. Even though she found it, she didn't want it around anymore as she would do anything to get rid of it, for all it did was give her a curse that made her touch anything and turn it into gold.

"I can't take it anymore," she said.

"That's no monkey's paw, but it's cursed alright," said Dean.

"Look, I've got problems and I also have family in Mexico that I have to wire money for, but this hand did a number on me when I found it in a hotel room while I was cleaning it."

"Are you talking about the Hand of Midas?" asked Sam.

"Yeah…" the woman breaks down crying as she wanted to get rid of what she found. "My name is Carmen Ruiz and I work at this hotel to provide for my family who lives in Mexico. I never expected to find that thing that gave me this curse in which I have to wear gloves like Rogue while I'm trying to find a way to get rid of this golden touch. Everything I touched with my bare hands became gold in which I can't even eat or drink anything because of this curse!"

"There's a way…" Sam fishes out the vial as it contains the Waters of Pactolus while he opened it up and poured a few drops on Carmen. "This will help you remove the golden curse in which we'll take the Hand of Midas somewhere."

"Gracias and God bless…"

It wasn't long until Sakane appeared out of nowhere as he grabbed Carmen's purse and opened it up to get the Hand of Midas out with a pair of special tongs. When it was placed in a special box that was heavily warded, it was sealed away forever as Carmen was relieved that she didn't have the golden curse on her anymore. When the worst was over, everything was back to normal as the floor to the men's room returned to its original state in which everyone was out of the men's room, for the Hand of Midas was sealed away for the time being…

Sam and Dean were at the Cactus Flats Bar and Grill as they were having a drink before going to the slug roe home for the night. It may be a long road ahead for them just to get back to the bunker, but for now, they were glad that they stopped a minor problem before it got worse, for the Hand of Midas wasn't something that was taken lightly.

"No more golden toilets," said Dean as he took a sip of his beer.

"It could've been worse," said Sam as he coughed a bit while he wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"The Hand of Midas ain't a monkey's paw, but it's also a reminder that nothing good gets paved in gold."

"King Midas learned the hard way when he asked for the golden touch, only to wash it away in the Pactolus River. Dionysus may have been lenient towards him, but he later chose humility instead of greed after all that has happened to him."

"A word of advice, Sam; don't go for gold things 'cause they might catch you off guard taking a dump like that poor shlub in the morgue."

Dean looked at his phone as he saw a text message from Castiel in which it was urgent. What he didn't expect was that another message was sent by Sakane as he gave him a word of warning about what could happen next, for this was the life of a hunter after all…

Meanwhile, back in the present…

I was walking into a citadel near a farming area as I noticed Dean's unit bringing the golden toilet out into a yard. I never saw anything like it before as I walked closer to it the moment I saw it with warding symbols all over it. Lifting the led of the toilet tank, I saw something that was in it as it was empty without any water to flush with. What I noticed was that a golden hand was there as it had multiple gemstones encrusted on it. With a pair of strong tongs, I got the hand out of there as I dropped it onto the dirt the moment the toilet that housed it reverted back to its porcelain white color. It wasn't long until Dean showed up as he saw the strange hand that was there as it turned the dirt into gold. He was aware that what was taken out of there happened to be the Hand of Midas as it had to be put into the archives, for this was no ordinary object in mind.

"You struck big, Sam," he said to me.

"It's the Hand of Midas, but it has to be put in storage," I said.

"But the question is: who took it in the first place?"

I grabbed the tongs as I placed the Hand of Midas into a warded box the moment I sealed it up. Still, it had to be taken to the Order's main headquarters on Valinor in which it was an object that was deemed too dangerous to handle, for no one could harness it. Therefore, we had a necessary measure to keep the Hand of Midas out of the hands of those who would abuse it, for it was something that couldn't be taken lightly.

"And there you have it," I said as I was glad that the object was sealed for the time being. "We can't trust this thing in the wrong hands after what happened earlier."

"You know how to handle the Hand of Midas with those tongs, but take a look at them," said Dean as he spotted them in my hands that have turned to gold. "That thing aint a joke 'cause our past selves had to handle something like that, which is not to be taken lightly." He spots the dirt being turned to gold. "That thing's no joke, but whoever took it, must've wanted to turn things into gold."

It wasn't long until we spotted an Order of Letters ship coming towards the citadel. When it landed in a clearing, it opened up as I spotted Seto arriving in which she was dressed in different clothing than what she usually wore. She was dressed in in a black a-line skirt with a matching black jacket and boots while she wore a cerulean shirt. She was meaning business as she was also aware of what was discovered in that toilet the moment she saw the box that the Hand of Midas was in, for she had to take it back to the archives where it needed to be stored instead of being used for the wrong reasons.

"It's been a long time, Sam," she said. "I trust that you're doing much better after the war ended six months ago.

"I know that it's been six months since the war ended, but if you want the Hand of Midas to be taken to the Order's archives, then it's best that you take it before it gets stolen," I said. "

"I didn't come here to just retrieve the Hand of Midas. I came here to offer condolences to your brother over Magda's death while I'm there to put Margo in her place. I heard about her clan in which she still follows those shitty traditions that they scrapped after the suicide of one of their own family members. The clan's on the verge of extinction and having Margo adhere to those outdated traditions to keep their family members from marrying again after the death of one's spouse. Therefore, Dean's future bride may have lost her husband, but she's stuck with him for life."

"Look, I got the message earlier from Margo in which she refuses to prevent Ravenna from marrying me," he said. "Still, I can't do that after what happened to Magda, but marrying again would dishonor her memory." Dean feels his hands shaking as he remembered that awful day of Magda's demise. "No…, I won't marry again, you got that? I even heard Margo telling Ravenna that if she did that, then she'll stop at nothing to take her kids away."

"That bitch!"

Seto clenched her fists as she was itching to give Margo more than just a piece of her mind. She wanted to pummel the latter for using empty threats to control her daughters and their children the moment she spotted her in the distance with a smile on her face. She was glad that Dean made her decision to never marry again in which she didn't want him in the lives of her grandsons as well, for they were afraid of her. When Seto spotted her near a lamppost, she was ready to put Margo in her place as she wasn't having it, for she knew of the Rakuen Priesthood's selections very well that worked the best.

"Hello, Margo," she said. "I take it that you still cling to those shitty traditions that your clan tossed out over the years."

"I won't let Ravenna marry the captain of the Hunter Corps' seventh squad," she said. "I make the decisions for what's best for her, not you. It may be her life and not mine, but I'm the one who decides for my daughter."

"Ravenna's choice has been made for her since her husband died from cancer. Dean's choice was also made after Jacob Doran went in and gutted Magda like an animal carcass. Both are heartbroken after the loss of their spouses, but instead of allowing your daughter to get a little frisky with her future husband, you make your decision to him and he's now accepted the fact that he refuses to marry again, which poses a problem for the Rakuen Priesthood in a nutshell and they literally kill those who interfere with their matchmaking plans."

"The Rakuen Priesthood is nothing more than the Order's glorified breeding program. Ravenna will never marry Dean, I swear of it! He's happier that way because he'll never marry anyone again after Magda's death."

"Oh, he'll be happier alright… by spending his days in bars by drinking either an entire bottle of Jack Daniels or guzzle down a bunch of Jim Beam highballs. No! I won't let him do that shit 'cause his happiness is important just as much as your daughter's. You may think highly of her, but you never approve of the decisions that she and her sisters made. Speaking of which, you disowned one of your daughters after she came out to you as a lesbian and left your youngest one to die in the well near your homestead on Essos. All you care about are those shitty traditions that you cling to, but you won't accept the fact that your clan is nearly extinct because of what you upheld. For the record, I won't let you interfere with your daughter's personal life any longer 'cause I'm the one in charge into bringing her and Dean together for a good reason and that is to heal one another after they lost someone, is that understood?"

Margo was stunned by Seto's words as she backed away for now. She was never afraid of anyone who was beneath her, but she was very afraid of Seto as she was there to put her foot down. She ended up losing to the one who wanted happiness for both Dean and Ravenna as she was backed in a corner in which she wasn't about to lose the moment she saw Revata and Rohidra coming towards the citadel to see what became of the golden toilet that was found earlier. She even noticed the other boys with them as they noticed the toilet that they found didn't have the golden hue that it had in which she decided to back off for now. Still, she was under the microscope of Seto as she also had to be careful about what happened next, for she was already put in her place after all…

Dirk was busy preparing for his exam to be in the Hunter Corps as he was finishing up after his search for the other boys earlier. Still, he was ready to take responsibilities as not only a member of the Order and the upcoming Hunter Corps, but as part of a family that didn't end with blood in which he vowed to do his part as a soldier. By the time he was done, he heard the door open up to his room as he saw Gyatso entering in which he wanted to spend time with him a little longer, for he would soon part with us once he passes that exam.

"I'll be off to the Hunter Corps once I pass," he said.

"It's gonna be lonely without you here," said Gyatso.

"You won't be lonely. If I get into the Hunter Corps, then I'll write to you guys every day."

"I hope so… Therefore, that toilet we found changed into a boring white one after what was found in the tank part of it. Sam called it the Hand of Midas in which it's going back to the archives after it got put into that toilet earlier."

"It reminds me of an old joke I heard before in which it's about this guy who gets plastered at a New Year's Eve party one time in which he sees a golden toilet in front of him. On the morning after, he decides to find the golden toilet in which he knocked on the doors of each house. On the first house, he asks the first guy about having a golden toilet and he said he had a white one. On the second house, he asks the second guy about it and he said no. On the last house, he asks an old lady about having a golden toilet and all she said was, 'Harry, here's the guy who took a dump in your tuba!'"

Gyatso laughed at the joke as he couldn't get enough of how the notion of a golden toilet became funny enough for one good laugh. Still, he never expected to see one out in the open as it was once coated in gold by the Hand of Midas earlier. Even though he now knew about what made the toilet into gold, he also had to be careful about what was found in which the artefact itself had to be brought back to the Order's archives, for it couldn't be abused by anyone due to its curse of a touch that turned everything into gold. When he left Dirk's room, he spotted me coming into the hall as I was there to check up on him, for I was also happy that my oldest ward was becoming a man in his own right.

"Hey, Sam," said Gyatso.

"You look sad," I said.

"I'm gonna miss Dirk in which he's going to the Hunter Corps once he passes that exam."

"You can't stop him, but he's also got a long way to go when it comes to saving people, hunting things, and upholding the family business."

"I'm gonna miss him…"

"I know, but I have high hopes for him in which he's seen his fair share of battle when we were on our way home to Alecrast at the time. He'll be a formidable soldier once he's accepted into the Hunter Corps. I know that Dirk is mainly the big brother in our family, but he's got family here that he could write in correspondence to."

"I hope he doesn't write about the golden toilet…"

It wasn't long until I heard footsteps approaching as I rushed out of the hallway and straight into the main hall of the castle in which I saw Seto standing in front of me. She meant business as she was eager to tell me about the situation that I was about to encounter next, for it was a crucial one indeed.

"We need to talk, Sam," she said.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"It's about Dean, but he still won't marry again…"

"I'll see what I can do…"

And so, I was ready to settle what was about to occur after the golden toilet fiasco as I had to worry about Dean's happiness. Still, it wouldn't be easy in which I would soon face an impossible choice on the horizon, for it didn't involve any more golden toilets right now…
