Willowvale, Valinor; many years ago…
Leopold was at home after a long day as he returned to his room. Even though he was the local errand boy, he also had to do some nightly runs as he was more than likely to be going back to Rivendell to report in with the woman who was carrying his child against his wishes. He hated to be away from Liore as he also had to deal with the watchful eye of Claudette and her family while they held their oldest children hostage in their home. He also hated the fact that he had no other choice but to "be content" and tolerate the frequent rape from Claudette even after she forced herself onto him to procure his seed. When he laid down on the bed after taking a shower, he noticed Liore all cleaned earlier as he was wanting him for the taking before returning to the capital, for he had watchful eyes targeting his every move outside of his village of Willowvale.
"I wish that Claudette lose that so-called baby she forced me to procure," he said.
"You mustn't say such ill will on expectant mothers, my dear Leopold; it's considered to be bad luck," said Liore cautiously. "Even though it's been five years since that horrible war started in which Emperor Esteban and my sister, Empress Lyra, have been pushing back the Blues, but to no avail."
"If only the Tremaines fought in the war…"
"They have, but the only family that profits from it are the Beauchamps in which Beryl is a supporter of bolstering it."
"After this weekend, I will return to Rivendell, my darling. It's a shame that you can't be with me…"
"Be patient, my love." Liore presses a finger to Leopold's lips as he smiled kindly. "You can't have a quick fix in everything, for it's a slow process to show for."
It wasn't long until Leopold kissed Liore on the lips as he wanted to show him more passion before leaving Willowvale for Rivendell. The passion between them was more loving than that with the "sham wife" that he was forced to be with as Leopold took off his robe and showed Liore what he had beneath it. He wanted his Elven spouse for himself as he dug out a box of condoms and took one out of it. Like any other gay man or unaltered transgender woman, he was careful where he stuck his member into as he more than ready to go deep with all the protection he could muster. Just as he was about to get a little dirty, he was ready to pleasure Liore as he grabbed his member and took it into his mouth. The Elven spouse enjoyed the feel of Leopold giving him a little head as he wanted more from him. The pleasure of it was too much for him as he was more than likely to be seeing his husband go on top of him the moment he grabbed the condom and unwrapped it while placing it on his member.
Liore was ready for Leopold as he was turned over on his stomach the moment he felt his protected member being inserted into his anal cavity. The feel of him enticed Liore to no end as he wanted more than what he bargained for in which he loved the pleasure coming from behind. Leopold gave him his all while stroking his own member and adjoining pouch. With such intensity, he was bringing Liore to such an explosive climax the moment he heard him let out a guttural cry of excitement the moment he ended up spilling with delight. By the time that the interlude was over, Leopold pulled out of Liore's anal cavity as he removed the spent condom and threw it away in the wastebasket. Both men were tired as they held each other in their arms in which they had a longing for each other, for their days have gotten shorter since Leopold was forced into a sham marriage against his wishes.
"It's been a long time since we gave each other pleasure," he said as he snuggled next to Liore while stroking his long brown hair. "It's not fair that I got roped into the mess I am in."
"I know, for you also can't get past Oswald Tremaine, who is the patriarch of his family," said Liore.
"After this weekend is up, I will be off back to my golden cage with that bitch of a 'wife' who has kept me prisoner since the war started."
"Perhaps a reprieve will be in order, my love… The Emperor does need able-bodied men and women to fight against Bertram Blackthorne and his religious zealots in this war."
"If that ever happened, the I'll be out of my golden cage and into the battlefield, for this is a fate for all able-bodied men and women to serve the Valinorian Army"
"You'll make a fine soldier one day, my darling…"
"I know…" Leopold kisses Liore on the lips as he didn't want to let him go. "Oh, how I love you so much and leaving you here to go back to my golden cage is such torture, for we must all endure it in the bitter end."
Both Liore and Leopold fell asleep in each other's arms as they relished what they had for tonight. Still, both men were always together and forever apart as they tolerated the separation anxiety more than anything, for they also had to deal with the confines of high society running the social ladder in this grueling war between the Oranges and the Blues…
Present day…
I was in a ferry boat as I was in my cabin writing in my journal. Still, I accepted the mission to assess things, but I also had to be guarded because of the fact that I was still a high-risk target. I was ready to visit Cordell Island once again as I also had to escort Eldrad and Gerda to where they needed to get to. When I was about to lay down in my bed, I heard the door open as I noticed Dean rush into my cabin in which he wasn't about to let me out of his sight. He had his reasons to keep me safe as he was also not about to have me fall prisoner to the Zenith Vectors or anyone else who once had ties to the Executive Division. Even though the war was over, I wasn't safe with my raw power still weakened from overexertion three years ago, for I also had to keep my distance when it came to the heavy lifting on assessment missions.
"You didn't have to come with me," I said.
"And have you fall victim to the Zenith Vectors? Not a chance, Sammy," said Dean.
"This is only an assessment mission, not field work. As for our two lovebirds, they're more than likely to be inheriting the Aldercapt house on Cordell Island, but from what I heard, it's been haunted even after the war between the Oranges and the Blues ended ten years ago."
"You've been reading that ledger about Valinor's own war, haven't you?"
"Our homeworld may have had the Orc Wars and the First and Second Galvanic Uprisings, but the war between the Oranges and the Blues was one of the worst that occurred here on this planet. The war lasted for twenty-five years until it's end twelve years ago. The root cause of the war started when a religious zealot named Bertram Blackthorne wanted to subjugate Valinor and turn it into a Christian planet. Emperor Esteban and his army, the Oranges, fought back against Bertram Blackthorne and his group of religious zealots, the Blues, at the time in which most of Valinor's population feared the rise of extremist Christianity."
"I take it that everyone wasn't into the usual 'fire and brimstone' tactics that the Blues brought out."
"The battle between the Oranges and the Blues took a toll on the population in which most of it ended up becoming displaced with so many war orphans that took the full brunt of the war's outstretched reach. Some of the continents on this planet sided with the Emperor over a religious zealot like Bertram Blackthorne, but at a heavy cost."
"None of us saw it coming in which we really did missed out on so much while we spent our years at the fort on Gehenna. Time flies, but we can't ignore the problems of others."
I put away my journal as I brought out the ledger that I brought with me. I continued to look at the details of the war that nearly plunged Valinor asunder at the time. When I saw the picture of Leopold and Gerda's parents, I sensed that they were close until the bitter end in which I also had the task to officiate a wedding and solve the mystery of how and why the Aldercapt house was haunted, for this was something that I had to figure out soon enough. As for what I know now, Leopold had a grand friendship to his fallen comrades as he was someone that was mainly a stalwart in the Foxworth Family, for his story was a complicated one indeed…
Many years ago on Valinor…
Leopold was busy running errands as he was also delivering groceries to some of the townsfolk who lived in his village. The place itself was idyllic, but filled to the brim with courtesans and rent boys that could put the Tsubaki District on Skald Island to shame, but Leopold did his job with both honesty and integrity. By the time he was about to go home, he stopped in the distance as he heard the sound of footsteps coming towards him. Someone was following him as he had to get back to his home before it was too late. Turning around, he saw two suspicious people standing still as they were not the friendly type. He never knew who they were, but he had to get out of the way before any danger starts. Just as he was about to do so, he saw one of the suspicious people coming towards his as a tendril came out of his wrist. He was terrified as he also didn't want any trouble from the people who were dogging him on his way home, for he was defenseless and not having a weapon of his own to defend himself with.
"Oh, this guy's brain will be mine to eat," said the suspicious person as he was ready to attack.
"I saw him first," said the other suspicious person as she was armed with her own tendril.
"We've been starving and all we can slurp down are Elves who live in their trees."
"Still, seeing this timid human coming home will be worth the merry chase and his brain will be very tasty!"
"Hey! Didn't anyone tell you not to be playing with your food?!"
Leopold saw an arrow being fired into one of the suspicious people as he felt the tinge of silver corroding his body. He was happy to see one of them dead on the ground as he was ready to get away until the other one cornered him. The other suspicious person was ready to devour his brain as she was wanting to slurp it out of his head until she saw a speeding disc come towards her and chopped off her head. Leopold never expected to see his pursuers dead as he noticed a human man and Draaza woman rush to his aid. The man was muscular and lean as he had brown hair and green eyes while dressed in Lorien clothing. As for the Draaza woman, she was beautiful as she had a red comb and the bluest eyes that were more elegant like starlight while she wore a light blue tunic and trousers. Leopold knew of them to be hunters as he was glad that his life was saved from the ones who tried to make a meal out of his brain, for he would soon be forever grateful for their intervention at the last minute.
"I thought that I was done for," he said.
"You're far from your home for a courtesan's son," said the human.
"How do you know about me?"
"You're Leopold Foxworth in which your mom's one of the proprietors of the Foxworth Den, which is one of the most profitable of all brothels here in the village of Willowvale," said the Draaza woman.
"It seems that I owe you my life in which those people were wanting to make a meal out of my brains."
"They're called wraiths. In the Elder Days, they are known to cause such trouble to their victims in which they only infect through touch and have them driven insane to the ripe picking just in time for dinner."
"You're lucky that we took them out in time or else you would've been a midnight snack for them," said the human man. "Wraiths are dangerous in which the only way to take them out is by silver. By the way, my name's Neil Aldercapt and this is my wife, Tzipprana. We live on Cordell Island, which is in the Skalvarg Archipelago, but we have a lot to do before leaving the mainland."
"Thank you for helping me, for I will do my best to repay your kindness," said Leopold.
And so, the two hunters left as the road leading to Willowvale was safe once again. Leopold was elated to have people helping him as he vowed to return the kindness after he was rescued from certain death, for he had a much bigger respect for them in the near future…
The next morning, Leopold was up and alert as he was happy to be alive in which he was laying in his bed, but he couldn't be here for too long due to his business in the capital. Laying next to him was Liore as he was fully awake and alert. Both of them were married to each other, but they would soon part for another time, for one of them was forced to adhere to the "sham marriage" that was forced upon him, for this was more complicated than it seemed.
"You're more radiant than ever, my love," he said as he saw Liore sit up.
"It's a shame that Oswald Tremaine forced you to into this sham marriage to Claudette, but there's a reason for it just as we were begotten into this galaxy. It's a shame that some of our children had to accompany you to Rivendell, but my brother-in-law is the Emperor and is fighting tooth and nail to quell the uprising that Bertram Blackthorne wrought here."
"I hope that Emperor Esteban and his forces put that zealot in his place, for it has been five years since this war between the Oranges and the Blues started up."
"Sooner or later, we'll be called to war just to aid the effort."
"And it's a shame that I have to report to Claudette in which she forced me to give her a child, but she hates him for what he is and for what I am."
"You're not the only one who is in your predicament, for we are both cut from the angelic cloth that our sire and dam made."
Leopold got up from the bed as he walked towards the mirror. He had the blond hair and blue eyes like his mother as he also displayed a Nephilim hue that was similar to an archangel's. Still, he had to return to Rivendell to check in, but the sound of six-legged horses and horns trumpeting disturbed his serene morning. When he rushed out of his home, he saw a group of soldiers as they were a mixture of Terrans, Elves, and Dwarves in which they were calling for able-bodied men and women to be drafted into the army, for the war between the Oranges and the Blues has taken its toll on everyone.
"Citizens of all races," said an Elf soldier as he was on his six-legged stallion. "We have endured losses in the northern mainlands in which we need to hold back the Blues before they reach Valinor's capital! All able-bodied men and women will be drafted into our ranks; no exceptions. All vulnerable women, children, and the elderly will be taken to safety to the Skalvarg Archipelago in which the islands will be a safe haven to protect the vulnerable. All of you who are able-bodied will be joining our ranks, for our planet must be protected from the religious zealotry that the Blues are trying to impose on us."
Leopold was thrusted into the draft board as he was given a small tablet in which he saw it to be a draft card. He had no other choice but to fight as he had to do it in order to protect what he cared about, for he needed to do his part in the war that was steeped in fighting against Christian extremism here on Valinor…
Meanwhile, back in the present…
Liore was waiting at the hotel he worked at in Cordell Island's Grand Hill district as he was looking at the ferry schedule. Even though Leopold was released from the sham marriage he endured, he wasn't out of the woods yet as the news about the Zenith Vectors making the headlines unnerved him to no end. It had been ten years since the war between the Oranges and the Blues ended as he had his fair share of dealing with the war that even spilled into the Skalvarg Archipelago, for he was longing for his beloved to return. Just as he was about to return to his hotel room, he noticed a Half-Elven girl coming as she was there to see him, for she was one of his and Leopold's children. The Half-Elf herself was more like Leopold as she had lavender hair and blue eyes while wearing Sindar clothing, for she was also waiting for him just like Liore was.
"It's been a long time since we saw Papa," she said. "As for that 'sham wife' of his, may she rest in piss after losing her life in that terrorist attack on Alecrast."
"It's a sin to dishonor the dead, Shayla," said Liore.
"We tolerated our half-brother, but not his mom."
"Claudette ended up being a victim of her own folly when the Zenith Vectors caused that terrorist attack that claimed her life."
"Claudette was a bitch! She kept me and my siblings under the thumb of her dad and brother in which if Papa didn't behave, we would've been sent to be sex slaves to Father Warren at the time!"
"I know, for the separation anxiety between us hurt him just as much as losing the hunters who saved him from a pair of wraiths at the time." Liore looks at his watch as he sees it to be reaching five in the evening. "Soon, you'll be here with me again, my love…"
Liore continued to wait patiently as he couldn't wait to see Leopold once again. What he didn't know was that Jack was watching in the distance as he was ready to welcome the engagement party here to Cordell Island, for there was a house to be cleansed from what was scarring it in the first place. When he looked out the window, he saw an ominous aura coming from the Grand Hill District as it was a time of dread, for something had to be done before it was too late...
The ferry arrived on Cordell Island as Dean and I got off of it and made our way towards the Singer House. We entered inside as we noticed Minara here as he was on business in which he had to do his part like the rest of us. Still, I didn't mind his company, but he was also doing his part while taking care of his family back home on Claudius, for he was also no stranger in dealing with the private harassment that bombarded him after the war ended.
"There's no need for your expertise right now," said Dean.
"I came here by my own accord, Dean," said Minara.
"What's wrong? Not paying enough attention to your family?"
"They're alright, but for months, I've been harassed by a certain divine nitwit who refuses to leave me alone until I become an Incubator once again. Mizuwa is already in her last stage of her pregnancy and I also have to do my part in the Order like the rest of us."
"By the way, how is she?" I asked.
"She became pregnant after I crafted a vaccine for Tabata Syndrome in which she adjusted. We're expecting a boy in which it'll be her second from me."
"And that certain divine nitwit happens to be my meddling Grandfather again," said Jack as he appeared out of nowhere. "Still, He doesn't learn when to quit, but with the Arbiter banished to Earth, He'll find ways to keep her there by forcing you to be an incubator just to 'give her the finger.'"
"Well, Chuck better stop harassing me or else he'll end up getting kicked to the curb."
"It won't be easy, Lord Minara. For the record, we need to focus on our affair to the Aldercapt house in which my own kin will be coming to cleanse it from the wounds that it sustained during the war between the Oranges and the Blues."
"What do you mean by your own kin?" I asked.
Jack fished out a locket from his coat pocket as he opened it up to reveal a picture of a woman with blond hair and blue eyes in which she was a spitting image of Leopold. I never knew anything about Jack's adventures as I also had to know about his role in what was put there in front of him. When we gathered into the sitting room, we sat down to hear him out as he had his reasons to get involved in going towards the Aldercapt homestead, for this was a personal matter to him.
"You have a picture of a pretty young girl there," said Dean as he stared at the locket that Jack had.
"Her name's Lenore Foxworth," he said. "Her family is one of the matriarchal clans in which they lived by their own rules, including having children with multiple men to keep the line fresh."
"And you have close ties to Leopold, don't you?" I said.
"Leopold… is my son. The time when he was conceived was when Lenore wanted to have her first time with someone random than one of the wealthy nobles and businessmen who came and went in her hometown of Willowvale. She picked me and… I gave her the best time of her life. When I left with her locket, I returned to the Grey Havens in which my actions ended up giving her both Leopold and his twin brother, Uthid. My worst fear was that Lenore would end up dead from childbirth like my mother did with me. When I sensed their birth, I was thankful that Lenore lived in which she raised our sons to be honest people, but were easily forced to assimilate into the high society of the social ladder starting with the Tremaine Family, who call the shots on Valinor's wealthiest elite families. Another worst fear was that Leopold was forced into a sham marriage while being forced to live apart from his Elven husband while their three children went with him as leverage, no thanks to Oswald Tremaine."
"High society is always shallow and ignorant all the time, but unable to cope with change," said Minara. "People in the elite may cling to celebrity status, social media, or established circle of friends, but they will never adjust to the worldview outside their proverbial bubble."
It wasn't long until we heard a commotion coming from the harbor as I was the first to run outside to see what was going on. What I didn't expect was that there was an entourage that was led by a man dressed in fancy clothing standing on the dock in which he was up to something that didn't suit our problems. The man himself was young as he had brown hair and green eyes the moment he was there to undermine our mission here, for he was part of the Tremaine Family due to his status and the expensive clothing he wore.
"You must be a friend of Leopold, aren't you?" he said to me as he singled me out.
"You must be from the Tremaine Family," I said.
"Is Leopold Foxworth with you?"
"He's on business, but he's here about the Aldercapt house."
"So, Valinor's resident bigamist turned monogamist decides to return to that haunted shithole after the deaths of the sire and dam who saved his life at the time. For the record, Gerda Aldercapt isn't Neil and Tzipprana's only child, for their sons they had were set up to wed into some of the richer families who often parade all over this planet's capital. Even her older sister is wed into the Beauchamp Family, but her husband severed ties to them due to their status as the warhawks they are. Such utter sacrilege!"
"I'm on business to officiate the wedding to Gerda and her betrothed, Eldrad Foxworth. His father wanted them to be together in which he owed a debt to the people who saved his life many years ago. They even fought in the war between the Oranges and the Blues in which the battle spread here in the Skalvarg Archipelago. Even though the war ended ten years ago, the scars of it remain in which everyone ended up getting displaced, including war orphans."
"Eldrad was begotten by my late sister who died in that terrorist attack. Therefore, my father and I had to force Leopold to abandon his husband and get with Claudette so he wouldn't be tempted to return to his lifestyle in which his three children were used as leverage. And did you know what would've happened if Leopold didn't accept that sham marriage to my sister? His test-tube children would've been taken to Father Warren to be part of his group on Baratheon at the time. That was when he agreed to go and marry Claudette and later gave her his seed to produce my nephew. It was a useful tactic to keep him in line and away from his rich and sinful family."
"You took a married man and forced him to separate from his husband in which you coerced him to marry Claudette just to keep him tethered. No, this wasn't just a sham marriage, it's blackmail. And you use his oldest children as hostages just to be forced to go to Father Warren and his cult if he left your sister. And another thing, Father Warren is dead in which he no longer rules Baratheon the moment Reiko took him out. My wife's presence restored the Castellano Family to power again in which they rule with kindness and empathy than tyranny."
The man who heard the news about Father Warren's demise grew angry as he was ready to hit people that were in front of him. When he tried to strike at me, I grabbed at his fist as I held it firm the moment he felt an icy chill rushing all over his body. He was stuck as he was unable to move in which I put him in his place without harming any innocent bystanders around him. I didn't want him to vent his anger as I also didn't want him to cause any problems, for he was wanting Leopold to be kept in the perceived place he once was.
"Release me or else I'll tell my father!" he shrieked as he was shivering from the cold on his body.
"I won't let you hurt any bystanders," I said.
"You're standing in front of Nils Tremaine, you fool! Once I gather Leopold and my nephew, I will keep them at our home till the rest of their days!"
"You won't do anything else, Nils!" said an Elf woman as she displayed her own angelic aura. "Leopold is back where he belongs with my brother and the rest of their family! If you continue to harass them, then I will have no other choice but to turn you to dust!"
I released Nils from the icy grip as he ran away from the dock. I stood my ground while keeping the peace as I also had to go to the Aldercapt house, for it was my mission to do so. As for the Elf woman who stood firm, she was someone who didn't mess around as she was dressed in Sindar clothing. From what I sensed was that she was a Nephilim as she also had her reasons to come here to Cordell Island, for she was there on her brother's behalf as well.
"You survived a lot worse, Sam," she said to me. "Still, I can't fathom how my own mother first disowns me and Liore while being one of the Terran God's most trusted 'mean girls.'"
"'Mother?' What are you talking about?"
"Do you know the angel Miriam? She was our mother, but she didn't want to have anything to do with us after she shacked up with an Elven soldier. After she disowned us, we were taken in by Willowvale's Rose District while growing up with Leopold. Liore was smitten with that man in which they married and raised their three children from the ovum of an Elven sharpshooter who lost her life in wars past. One came from my brother's seed and two came from Leopold in which they were happy with their lives even when the war between the Oranges and the Blues raged. During that war when Leopold was drafted, he not only fought alongside the hunters who saved his life, but was caught in the crosshairs of Oswald Tremaine and his son whom you saw earlier. They wanted him to be wed to Claudette in which he was chosen to do so, but when he refused to leave Liore, they took their children hostage in which if he didn't cooperate, they would be forced to be part of Father Warren's cult on Baratheon, which is considered to be blackmail."
"I'm no stranger to blackmail because I loathe it. As for what the Tremaine Family did to Leopold by forcing him to leave Liore and use their children as leverage to force him into a sham marriage, they're nothing but scum that float above the surface of high society."
"That wasn't all of it, Sam. Leopold had no choice but to marry Claudette and be her brood stallion in which he refused her advantages until she later drugged and raped him thus stealing his seed to craft Eldrad in her womb. He hated her for it, but tolerated their son in which he cared for him. Even when the war still raged, Leopold was wanting to visit his close friends, but when he saw them dead and their children taken away, he was crushed in which he was forced to go back to the sham marriage that he hated. In the end of it all, Eldrad was groomed to be successful in both Foxworth and Tremaine bloodlines by his grandfather and uncle, but was made to be put under their own personal pedigree once he came of age. That was when that selection of suitors didn't match with him because of how slender they were until he saw Gerda. She blew him off, but he wanted to be a show-off and steal the family fortune that his father stashed until he got caught in the act. Leopold gave him an ultimatum by either earn his own money or starve like a dog."
"And Eldrad chose to make his own money, but also got dunked in the ocean after getting back at Gerda for rejecting him, only for his father to make him see the error of his ways."
It wasn't long until we heard the sound of people clamoring towards the Grand Hill District in which I had to know what was going on. When I got there, I saw a familiar snob being taken in a stretcher as she was still shaken by something that unnerved her. Several more people were concerned as they noticed an eerie glow coming from the center of the Grand Hill District in which I sensed it to be unnerving, for there was the Aldercapt homestead that was in hindsight after all. When I walked towards the place where the eerie glow came from, I noticed the Aldercapt house intact, but haunted by the lingering scars of war. It was a nightmare all over the place as I walked closer to it in which I saw two obsidian headstones next to the house. The headstones signified the deaths of whoever lived here as I also saw a large daruma next to it complete with a plaque with the words, "In memory of Neil and Tzipprana Aldercapt; beloved parents, hunters, and friends," etched in silver letters. What I also noticed was an aura filled with dark energy surrounding the house as it refused to let me into it, for it was not ready to leave. When I backed away, I saw the aura change into a spear to strike at me as I drew my own sword to attack. Just as the evil entity was about to attack, it was paralyzed by a familiar cloud of salt as it backed away in which I was grateful that I had backup, for I didn't want to go in there alone.
"Looks like I'll have the backup after all," I said.
"You jumped the gun again, Sam," said Castiel as he appeared out of nowhere while holding a canister of salt. "Sadly, the Aldercapt house remains haunted to this day even after it was restored when the war between the Oranges and the Blues ended."
"The aura that remains is strong, but it can also be contained so it won't harm anyone else here."
"The Aldercapts were the victims of a home invasion. The ones responsible for their deaths is someone who is closer to Valinorian high society than you know."
"Who would kill them?"
"You've heard of the Beauchamps before, haven't you?"
"If you're referring to the likes of Beryl Beauchamp, I know that her family are a group of warhawks who believed that war was more than just an occurrence, but a profitable industry that boosts the economy."
"There you are!"
It wasn't long until Dean and Minara rushed to where we were as they saw the Aldercapt house be engulfed by the evil aura that refused to leave. The presence of such an aura like that was a cause for alarm in which no one would ever step into the Aldercapt house and live to tell the tale. When we saw the aura manifest into a huge blob, Castiel stepped up to the plate and opened up the salt canister and sprinkled some on it as it writhed in pain. Anger flooded the entity as it was ready to attack until we saw the Elf woman from earlier rush to our aid and brought out her sniper rifle and shot some salt rounds into it before it backed off. We were glad that the entity was gone for now as we were also thankful that our new friend was there to assist us, for she sensed what was going on in the Aldercapt house more than anything.
"Nice shooting, Annie Oakley," said Dean as he was elated to have backup.
"Don't get your hopes up, Captain," said the Elf woman. "My late husband, Elder Yavanna rest his soul, wanted to cleanse this house and welcome its new occupants like the rest of us."
"Dowager Empress Lyra, I presume?" said Castiel as he knew of her presence very well. "From what I know, your late husband fought against Bertram Blackthorne until his passing the moment Emperor Todd finished what he started."
"I'm not just here on business, Castiel. I'm here to help finish off the entity that came from the malice of war after the deaths of Neil and Tzipprana Aldercapt. I also had to protect Eldrad from the wrath of his mother in which she wanted to groom him to be part of the Tremaine Family, who orchestrated the deaths of his future bride's parents. Like the Beauchamps, the Tremaines are also warhawks by manipulating bloodlines in their inner circle."
"So, we're dealing with a couple of bad apples after the war ended," said Minara.
"Leopold and his entourage are here with us, but they're in their own hotel right now," I said.
"Liore is also with them in which he is finally glad that he would be with his husband and children," said Lyra. "Still, we must cleanse the Aldercapt house before the evil aura gets worse. The bitterness of war here has left scars in which they cling to anything like the house that the Emperor John and Princess Mary of Old once inhabited in the Elder Days."
"And Aelfric's family home in Piper Canyon on Alecrast…," I said.
I remembered what happened there as I was no stranger into dealing with the entity that haunted Aelfric's home and helped him face his fears. Even though the presence no longer haunted his home, it gave him an edge to help others, which I was happy to see him doing so. As for the predicament near the Aldercapt house, the entity had a stranglehold over it as it refused to let go in which it was ready to lash out at us. Without warning, we saw it gaining strength once again as my group ended up getting separated in which Castiel and I were taken into the house while closing the door while Dean and Minara were reeling from the attack earlier. The house itself was something similar to a roach motel as it kept its prisoners here until they rotted away, for this situation was getting much worse indeed.
"Son-of-a-bitch!" yelled Dean as he was on his knees.
"The Aldercapt house has gotten stronger, but we can't lose hope yet," said Minara.
"Sam is in there! Cass is also in there! I'm not abandoning them this time 'cause I made a promise not to cut and run!"
"All is not lost, Dean," said Lyra. "Your brother may still be weakened from the raw power he has, but he's not alone in which Castiel is also with him. Your past self has seen worse and so has your brother's in which we can't let that entity overwhelm the Aldercapt house."
"I just hope you're right…"
Without warning, a drone flashing a searchlight flown over Dean and the others as it the entity trapping the Aldercapt house noticed it directly. With an angry blast of energy, the evil aura destroyed the drone as it crashed onto the ground in little pieces except for the searchlight that was still shining brightly. Dean had to lead the effort as he didn't want to fall under despair in which he didn't want to fail again. He remembered Magda dying when Jacob killed her as that memory scarred him for life in which he didn't want to lose focus after all that happened. He was afraid of failure as he was more than likely to be dismantling the Aldercapt house directly, for the entity that housed it had got to go before more would suffer…
Castiel and I were inside of the Aldercapt house as we saw it to be empty and abandoned. The place itself was a reminder of how the war between the Orange and the Blues tore Valinor asunder as it also displayed old wounds that couldn't heal. Even though we had our swords, we had to be careful as we couldn't let our guard down. The interior of the Aldercapt house was considered to be a hub for hunters in which I spotted the Winchester Sigil painted on the wall and etched on the tiled floor. This was a place for those who safeguarded the many displaced as the war between the Oranges and the Blues raged all the way here while it spared no one in its wrath.
"I've never seen anything like it before until now," I said.
"The Aldercapts were a family of freelanced hunters that existed in the time of the Elder Days," said Castiel. "Their hunting prowess for killing monsters who cause terror to bystanders became legendary in which it also caused the ire of the many humans living in Valinor's capital in their own personal social hierarchy."
"And the Tremaines and Beauchamps happen to be the top dogs of the high society food chain."
"I came here to track down Nils Tremaine in which he was given orders to kidnap Leopold and his family in which he'll even bring back Eldrad as well."
"I heard about Claudette's death, but she never gave a damn about Leopold or Eldrad."
"Claudette cared about Eldrad in which she used him as leverage just like what her father and brother were using their half-siblings as hostages to keep Leopold in his golden cage."
It wasn't long until we heard the sound of scraping coming from the walls as they sounded like nails on a chalkboard. The house also had an eerie chill in the air as it was freezing us to the bone in which it unveiled ice all over the walls. It wasn't long until we saw the aura guarding the door as it didn't want to let us go. It was keeping us trapped as it was yearning for a hunger to keep us here the moment we saw slime adorn the walls of the house. Just as we were about to meet our end, we saw the house returning to normal for now except for the blobby mass that was blocking the door, for we had a gut feeling that we weren't alone here.
"This entity is dangerous and won't let us leave," said Castiel.
"And we have to watch our backs on this one," I said.
CH-CH!
We heard the sound of a shotgun being pumped as we noticed a familiar Alpha Chonoid here. It was Qo'Ornha as she had her reasons to be here in which she sensed the dread that haunted this once calm place. Even though she was far from home, she needed our help as she was also trapped in the Aldercapt house just like we were, for she was in a bit of a pickle while trying to cleanse this place.
"You're trapped just like me," she said.
"The entity won't let up until we're dead, but we have the means to cleanse this house," said Castiel as his arm glowed with the raw power he had. "This place is dangerous, but we can't let our guard down."
"And things have gotten from bad to worse," I said as I felt the chill in the air get more dangerous.
We saw the house's interior become frosted as the entity was ready to freeze us where we stood. As for what could happen next, we had to stand our ground in order to cleanse this place, for we also had an entity to flush out first…
To be continued…
