Chapter 24: Meiko, Keiji and Neliel vs. Dordoni
Halls of Las Noches
It really didn't take too long for this trio to run into an enemy of sorts. This arrancar was definitely different than what they were expecting so far in their journey. He stood in a large and empty room as if he were waiting for his adversary to arrive only to be surrounded by three individuals that took him by surprise.
"Well now," he started as he did a little dance for his introduction, "it seems I must face a little Niño and two Niña's now. Very well. My name is Dordoni Alessandro Del Socaccio, arrancar number 103. Nice to meet you all."
"A pleasure, I'm sure." Neliel started as she stepped up to him, sensing his power would be a bit much for her two companions to deal with alone right now. "Now where is the human girl that was kidnapped?"
Dordoni smirked. "Tell you what Niña," he got into a stance, prompting Neliel and the brother and sister duo to do the same. "If you three can defeat me, I may be able to tell you where the girl could be. Does that sound fair to you, Niña?"
"My name is Neliel." She answered, a bit irritated at whatever jab Dordoni was saying to them. "And I suppose that's fair enough."
Without wasting any time, Dordoni launched himself towards Neliel at an impressive speed. Well, it would be impressive to some, but the trio had sparred against each other and against Ichigo many times in the past. Dordoni's speed was good enough yet was really not too fast for the trio.
He went for a jab with his right, fingers stretched as if he wanted to stab through Neliel, but she simply moved out of the way and delivered a strong front kick to his side. Meiko rushed in and sent a straight right to him as he sailed through the air and knocked him towards her brother. Keiji brought both his hands together in an axe handle motion and brought them down on Dordoni's head, sending him crashing into the ground, hard.
All three sonidoed to one spot and saw the large amount of dust surrounding the small crater where Dordoni landed. This actually surprised Keiji and Meiko that their physical strength had grown so much while training under Halibel and the Tres Bestia for as long as they did.
"Damn bro," Meiko started as she lightly punched his shoulder, "nice hit."
"Thanks." He responded with a smirk.
"Well," Neliel spoke up this time, "I don't think he's getting up anytime soon. We should get going."
"Right." They both nodded and were about to turn down another hallway, hoping it wasn't the one they entered from, until they heard Dordoni speak once more.
"Whirl, Giralda!"
They turned back to see Dordoni standing in the air with these odd wind serpent things coming out of his boots. While Meiko and Keiji were impressed by this display of power, Neliel was starting to get irritated even more. She didn't want to kill or hurt anyone any more than she should and was happy with a simple knock out win, but Dordoni simply refused to stay down.
"How do you like this!?" Dordoni shouted out despite being a little worse for wear. "I will use all of my power to defeat you three, and then rejoin the Espada's once again!"
Neliel sighed as she turned towards her two companions. "You guys hang back a bit. I'm gonna end this as quickly as possible."
They nodded and backed away as soon as she drew her sword. Dordoni grinned, thinking that she was about to release her true form to him, but he was sorely mistaken. Faster than he could've reacted, Neliel cut into his shoulder and appeared right back where she initially stood. Dordoni went wide eyed as he didn't even see what happened but felt the large gash in his shoulder and blood pouring out. His release form disappeared, and he fell to the ground once again.
Neliel sighed once more as she flung his blood off of her blade and sheathed it before going towards his downed body. While the wound wasn't too bad as long as he got treated, she still felt bad for having to hurt the man. With another sigh, Neliel stood over his and began to drool an excessive amount onto his face. Meiko and Keiji made their way over and saw what she was doing. They knew what her drool could do, but it was still very disgusting to watch. The effect was slow but working as Dordoni's wound was slowly closing. Once finished, Neliel wiped away the drool still in her mouth and the trio decided to leave before he woke up. There was no point in staying there as that attack would keep him out of action for a while. They went down another corridor, never noticing that another group of arrancar were about to confront Dordoni for his failure to stop them.
Short and sweet. I feel like this is how the fight would definitely go down with a fully whole and even stronger Neliel at the lead. Never really cared for Dordoni so this one is pretty short. Oh well.
Next chapter will go back to our MC as he has his final fight with Grimmjow. Yeah, I'm skipping some stuff like the whole confrontation with Ulquiorra, but I have something different planned for him.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! My new year's resolution, finish up my current fics to get to the crossover story I've been planning for like three years. Also write new stories as well. I so many ideas I want to write but don't want to get bogged down and discouraged.
Anyway, stay awesome and as always...
PEACE!
