Chapter 2

Ethan looked to see Luz and Amity with proud looks on their faces, "Great job, Ethan, we're really excited about teaching you how to use your watch," said Luz. Ethan was shocked by how kind Luz was it somewhat reminded him of Pamela. Just then, the symbol on Ethan's chest started beeping and flashing red, and then red light engulfed him as he turned back to normal.

"Let's try another one," said Ethan eagerly. When he slammed down on the center, nothing happened, making Ethan and the women curious. "I guess there's a cool down for the watch," said Amity, "Well how about we get some food while we wait," said Luz. Ethan was wondering what kind of food the demon realm had to offer, Luz whistled, and out of the house came two creatures that Ethan thought were some kind of pets. All of sudden, the two creatures froze as a rod came out from them, "What just happened," asked Ethan. "What you just saw were our palismans, Ethan," said Luz, "They're creatures that act as a staff for witches as well as companionship," said Amity. "Hop on," said Luz, as Ethan got on the staff, and then Luz started to fly off with Amity following behind.As the group flew off, Ethan was holding onto Luz for dear life. He was relieved when they landed on the ground in the middle of a restaurant, "This place has amazing food, Ethan," said Luz.

Before they could open the door to the restaurant, they stopped when they heard screaming. They ran around the corner to see that a Slitherbeast had gotten loose from demon hunters, as everyone was running away from the beast. Ethan saw that his watch was fully charged. He turned the dial and slammed down on the center as a flash of green light enveloped him.

In the boys' place was a little humanoid with a green and black jumpsuit, "Who's this guy," questioned Ethan, as the Slitherbeast attacked Ethan, but then all of a sudden the new alien had split into two copies of himself. "Wow, I can duplicate myself," said Ethan. As he duplicated himself into five more copies, then the copies all dog-piled onto the Slitherbeast and started repeatedly punching the creature. Then the copies stopped punching it and started to hold it down, then the demon hunters arrived and regained capture of the Slitherbeast, "Thanks for the help, whoever you are," said one demon hunter. Ethan Replyed "Don't mention it, dude, just call me... Ditto."

As everyone was cheering the newly named Ditto, Luz and Amity however were concerned if the watch would time out at the wrong time, as if on cue the symbol on Ditto's head started flashing and beeping. 'Uh oh,' thought Ethan. As the red light engulfed the boy, everyone was shocked to see that the hero was actually a human. "Uhhh...bye," said Ethan as he ran away from the crowd. Everyone was wondering what they had just witnessed.
