Woody's Pokémon Journeys: Attack of the 50-Foot Orthworm!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is the debut of Orthworm.)
Narrator: Last time, Woody and his friends defeated Klawf, the Stony Cliff Titan and managed to gain Koraidon and Miraidon's Dash abilities. Now, with only two Titan Pokémon left to defeat, our heroes decided to head to the Asado Desert for Round Two.
(The scene changes to show Asado Desert.)
Woody: Boy, it's hot in the Asado Desert.
Geoff: You said it.
Woody: I'm glad we're out of school for Christmas Break.
Geoff: And this'll be our first Christmas in Paldea.
Arven: But for now, let's focus on finding Orthworm, the Lurking Steel Titan.
Yakko: I'm so glad Wakko decided to come to the Asado Desert.
Wakko: Yeah, but only for dessert.
Yakko: It's a desert, Wakko, not a dessert.
Wakko: Aw, man. And I never got to taste candy cane-flavored ice cream.
(Miraidon dashes through the dessert on its motorcycle-like legs.)
Geoff: Maybe we can find some Pokémon here.
Woody: Maybe that Titan Orthworm would be like the killer worms in the movie Squirm. Have you seen that movie, Yakko?
Yakko: I haven't. Besides, Wakko hates horror movies.
Wakko: It's true! Those worms wanted to kill me!
Yakko: He's also afraid of clowns.
Wakko: Clowns?! Where?
Yakko: Relax, baby bro. I was just messing with your brain.
Wakko: Thank goodness. I hate clowns and horror movies.
Dot: Hey, what's that over there?
(Radio Unown – Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver OST)
Dot: We better find it out!

(The scene changes to show Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo (Male), Koraidon, Appletun, Armarouge, Clodsire, and Skeledirge, alongside Woody himself, jumping into the air, alongside Faith and Floragato, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Shelgon, Togetic, Ceruledge, and her Typhlosion (Hisuian Form). Geoff and Houndoom, alongside Finizen, Veluza, Capsakid, Bramblin, Miraidon, Flamigo, Litleo, Foongus, Tandermaus, Fuecoco, Oricorio (Pa'u Style), Nymble, Grafaiai, Smeargle, Bellossom, Skunktank, Cetoddle, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Musharna, Banscream, Iron Bundle, Calyrex, Spectrier, Jynx, Gourgeist (Average Size), Polteageist, Misdreavus (Aevian Form), Zapdos (Galarian Form), Horsea, Seel, Jellicent, Snorunt, Snowlow, and Snowrong also appear alongside Woody and Hydro, with Bullwinkle and his Quaxwell, Lechonk, Greavard, and Rabsca appearing alongside the trio.)
Faith and Mordecai: [both reading the title] "Attack of the 50-Foot Orthworm!"
(The scene changes to show Asado Desert once again.)
Dot: Look, there's the sparkly object!
Wakko: Dot, wait! That's not a sparkly object, it's the tail of an Onix!
(The Onix sees Dot and attacks her.)
Onix: [roaring]
Dot: Ahhhhh, help!
(Battle! Wild Pokémon! – Pokémon Legends Arceus)
Arven: I've heard about this Pokémon before – it's an Onix!
Wakko: Onix? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Wakko's Rotom Phone chimes]
Wakko's Rotom Phone: "Onix, the Rock Snake Pokémon. A Rock and Ground type. Onix lives underground, creating tunnels by burrowing through the soil it lives in. It can move through the ground at 50 miles per hour."
Yakko: Don't worry, sibs. I got this!
(Yakko takes out a Poké Ball and sends out his Dewott.)
Yakko: Dewott, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Yakko's Dewott: [brings out its shell-like swords] Dewott!
Drew: Who's that? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Drew's Rotom Phone chimes]
Drew's Rotom Phone: "Dewott, the Discipline Pokémon. A Water type. Dewott uses the two scalchops on its body to fight against opponents. By going through strict training, it can learn how to use the scalchops with different moves."
Yakko: Dewott, use Hydro Pump!
Dewott: [Hydro Pump attack] Wott!
(The wild Onix was scared of water, allowing Geoff to capture it. After a few minutes, Onix was caught.)
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Onix has been registered to your Pokédex!
(Pinky and the Brain, who were shown in Faith's bag, saw the battle.)
Pinky: That Onix was so strong, Brain.
Brain: It certainly was strong, Pinky. Now come. We've got an Orthworm to find.
Pinky: But Orthworm's on the other side of Asado Desert, Brain. How do we find it?
Brain: I've put a tracking device on Orthworm. With it, we can take control of Orthworm's brain. Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so, Brain, but if Orthworm's an earthworm, why doesn't it live above the ground?
Brain: Worms live below the ground to avoid the sunlight.
Pinky: Right-o, Brain.
Brain: We will get to the other side of Asado Desert and mind control Orthworm.
Pinky: Great idea, Brain! Narf.
(Pinky and Brain get into a desert jeep and drive to the other side of Asado Desert.)
Yakko: Now where could that Orthworm be?
Wakko: Yakko, I'm tired. Why don't we stop and rest for a bit?
Yakko: Good idea. My feet are smoking hot over here.
(A close-up look of Yakko's feet reveal that there were, indeed, smoking hot.)
Faith: Good thing I have my swimsuit and sandals on.
(Faith puts on her blue one-piece swim dress and Liepard-print sandals.)
Faith: Look, it's an oasis!
(A tropical oasis was shown.)
Faith: Last one to the oasis is a rotten Exeggcute!
Wakko: I'm the rotten Exeggcute!
[Wakko and Faith laughing]
Yakko: [sighs] Kids these days. Always rambunctious and happily.
Leon: Tell me about it. Trying being a wife to a 35-year-old Eevee.
(Faith and Wakko, wearing their swimsuits,dive into the oasis.)
Moose: [rips off his clothes, revealing his red floral swim shorts] Wait for me!
Yakko: Moose, you don't have sandals on!
Moose: What did he say?
(Suddenly, Moose's feet became red hot.)
Moose: Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!
Woody: This is what happens when you don't wear sandals, Moose. Your feet will get incredibly hot.
Moose: You're not wearing sandals.
Woody: Oops, forgot to bring them to the desert.
(Woody and Moose jumped around the sand and sprung into the oasis.)
Wakko: Glad you could make it, Woody.
Moose: The next time I go to a place with water, I'm bringing my sandals.
Dot: [sees another flying object] What's that?
Wakko: It looks like an Orthworm!
(Wakko cimbs onto a palm tree, which was thought to be na Orthworm but another Onix.)
Wakko: Darn it, it's just an Onix.
Onix: [shakes off Wakko] Raawwwrrr!
Wakko: Ow!
Moose: [puts Wakko's hat in his bag] You okay, Wakko?
Wakko: I'm okay, Moose.
?: [Western accent] Well, lowdy there, partners.
Wakko: Who are you?
Clay: I'm Clay Moniker, the Gym Leader of Driftveil City. And this is Krokorok, my partner.
Krokorok: Kroko!
Arven: Wow, a real Krokorok!
Drew: I've never seen a Krokorok before. [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Drew's Rotom Phone chimes]
Drew's Rotom Phone: "Krokorok, the Desert Croc Pokémon. A Ground and Dark type. Krokorok has the ability to see in the dark with its night vision-like eyes. When it gets cold at night, it digs deep into the sand so its body doesn't get cold."
Drew: What are you doing here in Paldea, Clay?
Faith: Yeah, shouldn't you be back at Driftveil City?
Clay: Driftveil City nowadays feels dull so I decided to come to the Asado Desert in search of some new material for my mine.
Faith: What mine?
Clay: I have a mine back in Driftveil City.
Faith: Ooh, I've never dated a man that works in a mine before. [sniffs Clay's jacket]: But you could sure use a shower.
Clay: Yeah, that's just what happens when you work in a mine for a long period of time.
Woody: We're trying to find Orthworm, the Lurking Steel Titan. Have you seen it?
Clay: it's across the Asado Desert.
Woody: Thanks.
Clay: Wait! Can I tag along, too?
Woody: Sure. I got an extra seat for Miraidon.
(Clay gets into a motorcycle back seat.)
Clay: Yee-haw! Let's get that Orthworm a piece of its mind!
(Later…)
Woody: Any luck finding Orthworm, Geoff?
Geoff: No, nothing at all. Wait, I see a Pokémon!
(Geoff moves towards a Pokémon, which turned out to be a Stonjourner!)
Stonjourner: Ston!
Geoff: It's a Stonjourner!
Woody: A what? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Woody's Rotom Phone chimes]
Woody's Rotom Phone: "Stonjourner, the Big Rock Pokémon. A Rock type. Stonjourner makes its home in plains and fields, watching sunrises and sunsets. It walks around grassy plains and can stand on rocks that weight 400 pounds."
Geoff: [throws a Poké Ball at Stonjourner] Go, Poké Ball!
(Geoff throws the Poké Ball at Stonjourner, which was caught.)
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Stonjourner has been registered to your Pokédex!
Clay: Are you guys sure know what you're doing?
Geoff: I do. I'm a Pokémon Trainer in need of a Mew so that's why I'm catching every Pokémon from Kanto to Paldea.
Clay: Good to know.
Woody: Maybe we can find a Tadbulb here.
(With success, Woody found a wild Tadbulb.)
Woody: Cool, a Tadbulb!
Dot: Tadbulb? [pulls out her pink Rotom Phone]
[Dot's Rotom Phone chimes]
Dot's Rotom Phone: "Tadbulb, the EleTadpole Pokémon. An Electric type. Tadbulb shakes its body in order to generate electricity. When sensing danger, it'll use its head to blink on and off, allowing its friends to help."
Geoff: [throws a Poké Ball at Tadbulb] Poké Ball, don't fail me now!
[Poké Ball opens up, then dings]
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Tadbulb has been registered to your Pokédex!
Geoff: Yes, I got myself a Tadbulb!
Dot: Way to go!
Wakko: You did it, Geoff, you got a Tadbulb.
Munchlax: [cheering for Geoff] Munchlax!
Clay: Guys, I think I know where to find Orthworm. Follow me!
(Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Moose, Zee, Mordecai, Faith, Drew, Woody, and Arven follow Clay to the edge of Asado Desert. A few hours pass, and they were at Orthworm's cave.)
Yakko: There's the cave.
Dot: But where's Orthworm?
Wakko: I dunno.
[Rumbling]
Yakko: [speaking as the ground rumbles] W-W-W-what's happening?
(The ground rumbles, revealing Pinky and the Brain, as well as Orthworm, the Lurking Steel Titan!)
Woody: Holy guacamole!
Orthworm: [roaring] Orrttthhhh!
Pinky: Haha, we beat you guys!
Woody: That's Orthworm, isn't it? [pulls out his red RotomPhone out of his shirt pocket]
[Woody's Rotom Phone]
Woody's Rotom Phone: "Orthworm, the Earthworm Pokémon. A Steel type. Orthworm lives in deserts where it's hot and humid. When attacked, it will use its fist-like organs, hitting enemies with a storm of fists."
Orthworm: ORRRTTTTTHHHH!
Clay: Why, I'll be damned. That Orthworm is angrier than a Tauros in a bronco championship.
Arven: This'll get that Orthworm in no time. [sends out Toedscruel] Toedscruel, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Toedscruel: Toedscruel!
Clay: What's that? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Clay's Rotom Phone chimes]
Clay's Rotom Phone: "Toedscruel, the Woodear Pokémon. A Ground and Grass type. Toedscruel gather in numerous groups and can form colonies in the hearts of forests. They don't appreciate it when strangers come into their homes."
Clay: Krokorok, use Crunch!
Arven: Toedscruel, use Grass Knot!
Toedscruel: [Grass Knot attack] Tooeedd!
Orthworm: [Iron Head attack] Toed!
(Orthworm used Iron Head, but Toedscruel used Grass Knot to defend itself, giving the Earthworm Pokémon a headache.)
Arven: We got this, Toedscruel!
Toedscruel: Toeds!
Clay: Krokorok, use Sandstorm!
(Krokorok creates a sandstorm with its body, causing a sandstorm around Woody and his friends, which forced them to put on their Go-Goggles.)
Woody: Keep going, Krokorok!
(Battle! Titan Pokémon – Pokémon Scarlet and Violet OST)
Arven: Toedscruel, use Hex!
Toedscruel: [Hex attack] Toedscruel!
Woody: Armarouge, use Armor Cannon!
Faith: And Ceruledge, use Psycho Cut!
(Armarouge uses Armor Cannon wile Ceruledge uses Psychoc Cut to defeat Orthworm. With success, the Earthworm Pokémon was defeated.)
Geoff: Whoa, and that was a Titan Pokémon I'll never be able to catch.
Faith: I see another Orthworm!
(Geoff corners the Orthworm, allowing him to capture it.)
Geoff: You're mine now, Orthworm!
[Poké Ball chimes and dings]
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Orthworm has been registered to your Pokédex!
Geoff: I did it! I got an Orthworm.
Orthworm: Orthworm!
Arven: Toedscruel, return!
[Poké Ball whirls]
Woody: You did great out there, Arven.
Arven: Thanks, Woody. I owe ya now!
Woody: Arven, I got something to tell you. Would you like to spend the holiday season at Benson's house? It's near the bottom of Glaseado Mountain.
Arven: Sounds great. Count me in!
Mordecai: I'll come too.
Rigby: Yeah! Mordecai and I will bring homemade hot cocoa and store-bought Jet Puffed marshmallows.
Woody: Sounds great.
Clay: Well, now that I got Orthworm Metal from Orthworm, I can make it into something special for the holiday season. Catch you guys later!
Faith: Happy Holidays, Clay!
(The scene changes to show the interior of Woody's house.)
Woody: I can't wait for our holiday party on December 2nd. It'll be a party to remember, right, Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pika!
Woody: Goodnight, buddy.
(Woody falls fast asleep until his Tv automatically turns on.)
Weather Reporter: We've just been informed that a snowstorm will be heading Paldea due to El Nino, ayearly air that can cause snow to fall.
Woody: What?!
Weather Reporter: It's true. If you're planning to travel for the holidays, stay alert! This air condition is very dangerous.
Woody: I can't believe it, El Nino is going to strike Artazon Town!
Narrator: And so, with Orthworm defeated, there was one Titan Pokémon left to discover, Dondozo. With its discovery still unknown, our heroes will have to wait until the holidays end to discover it. Stay tuned for more adventures in Paldea as the journey continues.

(November 30th, 2023): It's almost time for A Paldean Christmas, folks! And to those who are watching it, I hope you have an awesome holiday season. For the first Christmas story, "Battling in a Winter Wonderland!", I'll include one of my favorite Ice-type Pokémon, Cetoddle. Here are some things you need to know about this Cetoddle-filled planet.
This area in the Ice Dimension was inspired by a Star Wars-themed planet called Hoth.
The magnetic field-like area was inspired by the magnetic field originally in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, which will cause any Ice-type Pokémon that evolve with Ice Stones to evolve!
3. I'm doing my own original Christmas story involving me and my boyfriend Mordecai baking holiday treats.
