Have Yourself a Springy Little Christmas!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is the first episode to feature Poppy, one of the Paldean Elite Four members in Pokémon the Series: Scarlet and Violet.)
Narrator: Last time, our heroes defeated Eri, the Fighting-type captain of the Caph Squad. Now, with Giacomo, the last team Squad boss to conquer, our heroes were on their way to completing their Paldean journey. For now, they're spending the Winter Holidays in Paldea.
(The scene changes to show the Haywood Mall.)
Mordecai: Moose, why are we at the Haywood Mall?
Moose: We need money to buy Christmas presents for our families so I'm hiring you as Santa.
Mordecai: Moose, you know I can't be Santa. He doesn't say bad words. You can be Santa. You're sweet, caring, and funny.
Moose: Just give the Santa thing a shot, Mordecai.
Mordecai: Fine, but I'm not gonna like it.
(Mordecai is seen wearing a Santa suit, red pants, black boots, and a Santa beard tapped to his mouth.)
Mordecai: Are you an elf, Moose?
Moose: [wearing an elf costume] I'm afraid so.
("Here Comes Santa Clause" plays on intermission)
Mordecai: Ho-ho-ho, Merry Christmas!
Trainer #1: Mom, can I see Santa?
Trainer's Mom: Sure, sweetie.
(The young girl sits on Mordecai's lap.)
Trainer: Hello, Santa.
Mordecai: Hey there, champ. What do you want for Christmas?
Trainer: I'm not sure. I guess, a Ponyta would do nice. You know, a Ponyta from Kanto.
Mordecai: I'm not sure we have any Ponyta here. Let me see what my elves can do.
Faith: Hi, there, I'm Faith.
Trainer: I'm Leia.
Faith: Hi, Ms. Leia. Do you want a Ponyta for Christmas?
Leia: Uh-huh.
Faith: Well, look what I just found: a Ponyta!
(Faith takes out a Poké Ball, releasing a beautiful Ponyta.)
[Ponyta neighs]
Leia: [squeals with joy] EEEEEEEEEEEEE! [then snores]
Leia's Mom: Oh, my! You two are miracle workers.
Mordecai, Faith, and Moose: Merry Christmas!
(Pinky and Brain walk up to Mordecai.)
Mordecai: Pinky, Brain, what do you want for Christmas?
Pinky: I want a lifetime supply of cheese!
Brain: And I want to take over the world, not to mention more clothes for my wardrobe.
(Pinky is given a lifetime supply of cheese and Brain is given different kinds of clothes for him to wear. After a while of helping kids, Mordecai was pooped.)
Faith: Mordecai, we've got one more kid for you to see.
Petunia: Oh, hello there.
Woody: I'm Woody, and this is my partner Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pikapika!
Petunia: I'm Petunia McCarty, nice to meet you both.
Woody: Who's that?
Petunia: This is my daughter, Poppy.
Poppy: Hello.
Woody: Aw, she's super cute.
Petunia: Poppy's replacing me as one of the Elite Four members since I'm retired now.
Woody: Wait, what?
(Song: The Challenge of Life)
"Rise if you're prepared for the challenge

(The scene changes to show Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo (Male), Koraidon, Appletun, Armarouge, Clodsire, and Skeledirge, alongside Woody himself, jumping into the air, alongside Faith and Floragato, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Shelgon, Togetic, Ceruledge, and her Typhlosion (Hisuian Form). Geoff and Houndoom, alongside Finizen, Veluza, Capsakid, Bramblin, Miraidon, Flamigo, Litleo, Foongus, Tandermaus, Fuecoco, Oricorio (Pa'u Style), Nymble, Grafaiai, Smeargle, Bellossom, Skunktank, Cetoddle, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Musharna, Banscream, Iron Bundle, Calyrex, Spectrier, Jynx, Gourgeist (Average Size), Polteageist, Misdreavus (Aevian Form), Zapdos (Galarian Form), Horsea, Seel, Jellicent, Snorunt, Snowlow, and Snowrong also appear alongside Woody and Hydro, with Bullwinkle and his Quaxwell, Lechonk, Greavard, and Rabsca appearing alongside the trio.)
Mordecai and Moose: [reading the title] "Have Yourself a Springy Little Christmas!"
(The scene changes to show Poppy on Santa Mordecai's lap.)
Poppy: Santa, the only thing I want for Christmas is Spring.
Mordecai: Wait, what?
Poppy: Spring! I want Spring for Christmas!
Faith: Can you explain it in a song?
Poppy: Gladly!
(Song: "Believe in Spring" from Moose and Zee. Sung by: Poppy.)
Poppy: [sings] No matter how dark and gloomy the night,
You're certain to wake up to morning's light.
Whenever storms make skies rainy and gray,
You can bet that sunlight will be on its way.
That's why Winter's reasonable robin can sing,
He's sure in no time he'll be welcoming Spring.

Moose: Whoa, that song meant a lot to Poppy.
Poppy: I want the Spring season for Christmas.
Mordecai: I hate to tell you this, Miss Poppy, but it's the Winter season in Paldea. And besides, Spring isn't until mid-March, which is, by the way, in three months.
Poppy: Aw, man.
Petunia: Come on, Poppy. Did you ask Santa what you wanted for Christmas.
Poppy: Yeah. I asked him for the Spring season for Christmas, but he said I'd had to wait three months until Spring.
Petunia: Come on, sweetie. Let's go home.
(Mordecai angrily looks at Moose.)
Mordecai: Why the hell would you do that, Moose?
Moose: Do what?
Mordecai: You completely ruined Poppy's Christmas!
Faith: Yeah, just like when you ruined all my Halloweens after singing "I Don't Like Candy Corn" a gazillion times!
Moose: What? Mordecai, Poppy's wish for Spring is impossible. Besides, we're mall Santas. You gotta be a real Santa if you want to make miracles happen.
Mordecai: Look, Moose, there's a sweet, beautiful Trainer out there who's feelings got hurt. I swear to Arceus that we're make it Poppy's best Christmas ever. But how?
Faith: Wait, I think I know how we can make Poppy's Springtime wish come true!
Mordecai: And how do we do that?
Pinky: We'll make it a Christmas Poppy will never forget. Zort!
Brain: That's it! Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so, Brain, but if Christmas was in Spring, Easter would already occur, wouldn't it?
Brain: No, Pinky. We'll make Poppy's Christmas wish come true by bringing Spring to her!
Pinky: Egad, brilliant! Oh, wait, no. What do we need for Spring?
Brain: Well, there's Easter eggs, rabbit-like Pokémon such as Bunnelby, and egg-shaped sugar cookies.
Faith: What about Grass-type Pokémon?
Brain: That will work, too.
Pinky: Let's hop to it? Get it, hop? Because bunnies hop on their feet!
Brain: [laughs sarcastically] Haha, very funny.
Faith: We're gonna knock Poppy's dress shoes off of her!
(Faith was shown in a grassy meadow near Artazon Town.)
Faith: This is where we can find all sorts of Grass-type Pokémon.
Lexie: Look over there!
(A group of Hoppip floated to the air.)
Lexie: I wonder what they are. [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
[Lexie's Rotom Phone chimes]
Lexie's Rotom Phone: "Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokémon. A Grass and Flying type. Hoppip are known to get blown away by winds so they use their feet to avoid getting blown away. For unknown reasons, the Hoppip from Paldea aren't originally found anywhere.
Lexie and Geoff: Go, Poké Balls!
(Geoff and Lexie captured their own Hoppip.)
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Hoppip has been registered to your Pokédex!
Woody: Is that a Bunnelby I see?
Bunnelby: [sees Woody] Bunnel?
Woody: It is!
Lexie: I'll check it out. [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Lexie's Rotom Phone chimes]
Lexie's Rotom Phone: "Bunnelby, the Digging Pokémon. A Normal type. Bunnelby uses its shovel-like ears to dig through the ground. It can dig a nest that goes down to nearly 33 feet in one night."
Lexie: Go, Poké Ball!
(Lexie captured Bunnelby using only one Poké Ball.)
Lexie's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Bunnelby has been registered to your Pokédex!
Faith: Perfect! Let's findmore stuff for Poppy's Spring-themed Christmas!
(Time passes, cuts to the Haywood Mall again.)
Yakko: [wearing a Scorbunny mask with his eyes shown] Hi, Poppy. Welcome to the wonders of Spring. We got your Easter eggs, long grass, sunshine,and Grass-type Pokémon.
(A Leafeon, a Sunkern, a Sunflora, and a Bulbasaur were seen in the mall.)
Wakko: Aren't we forgetting something?
Yakko: Yes, Wakko. But what is it? Hmm.
(Yakko puts on his thinking face. He then gasps in delight.)
Yakko: April showers!
(Yakko pulls down a shower fountain, which squirts out water.)
Poppy: [gasps] It's Sssppprrriinnngg!
Woody: And we got Pokémon Eggs to sweeten your Spring.
(All of a sudden, one of the Pokémon Eggs hatched.)
Woody: What's happening?
("Who's that Pokémon"? segment)
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot: Who's that Pokémon?!
(A silhouette shows a picture of a monster-like Pokémon. After a while, the silhouette disappears, revealing it to be a Delta Munchlax.)
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot: It's… Munchlax!
Munchlax: {Delta Form} Munch!
(End of "Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
(A Delta Munchlax popped out of its Egg.)
Munchlax: [Delta Form] Munch!
Lexie: You're so cute!
(Lexie picks up the baby Munchlax.)
Woody: What is it? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Woody's Rotom Phone chimes]
Woody's Rotom Phone: "Munchlax, Delta Form. The Knoll Pokémon. A Grass type. Munchlax lays in grassy fields after eating for a full day. It can absorb all the energy it needs for evolving by sunbathing."
Woody: Whoa. Looks like Munchlax is Lexie'snewpartner.
Munchlax: [Delta Form] Munch, munch!
Narrator: Poppy's Christmas wish, which was for the Spring season, came true. With a song about Spring and all of the things she wanted for Christmas, it was turning out to be a good holiday season, but not for one because Daruka will be there to ruin it.
(Meanwhile, in the Lavender Town Maximum Security Prison…)
Giovanni: Miss Daruka, we'd like to see you for a moment.
(Daruka steps up to Giovanni and his Persian.)
Daruka: What is it, Giovanni? I'm trying to get some sleep.
Giovanni: Sorry. We've been thinking about you this past three weeks and we've decided to give you a worthy promotion.
Daruka: What's that?
Giovanni: We need someone to fill in for Jessie and James, who retired from Team Rocket four years ago. How about it, Daruka? Would you like to be an honorary member of Team Rocket?
Daruka: [grins evilly] You know what…? I will join Team Rocket.
Giovanni: [snickers] Very well. I have given you something special for this occasion.
(Daruka was given a Beast Ball, a Poké Ball that could carry Ultra Beasts.)
Daruka: Is this… a Pokémon?
(Daruka opens the Beast Ball.)
Nihilego: Nihhill-!
Daruka: It's perfect, Giovanni. Thanks for the early Christmas present.
Giovanni: No problem, Miss Daruka. Oh, and I'd like to give you another gift.
(Daruka was given a long-sleeved Team Rocket uniform. It was a white uniform that resembled a long-sleeved dress. It had an R-shaped logo on the front and a Team Rocket-themed Tera Orb.)
Daruka: A uniform of my own will be sure to be enough for Woody and his friends.
Giovanni: Oh, and here's another present, but I'll give it to you on the morning of Christmas Eve.
Daruka: Thanks for the thoughtful presents, Giovanni.
Giovanni: My pleasure, Daruka. Oh, you forgot Nihilego.
Daruka: Sorry. Rotom, what moves does Nihilego have?
Daruka's Rotom Phone: Nihilego knows the following moves: Acid Spray, Venoshock, Headbutt, Power Split, and Acid.
Daruka: Look out, Faith Miller…
(Daruka dramatically stands on her prison bed.)
Daruka: …There's a new Team Rocket member in the family! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

(December 7th, 2023): Since my final exam in English is on Monday, I'm taking a well-deserved break until December 15th, which is where I'll be premiering my Christmas episode, "Crisis at Freezington!"
(December 11th, 2023): Hi, everyone, Faith here. I'm finished with my final exam, which means I'm on Winter Break for the next 3 to 4 weeks! Hooray! Here's Crisis at the North Pole!
