Crisis at the North Pole (Part 1)!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This episode marks the return of Daruka Makenzie Miller, the sister of Faith Miller, as well as the debut of Nihilego.)
(The scene changes to show a Piplup walking to a workshop. He uses his ID card to get into the workshop.)
ID Card Scanner: ID card accepted. Welcome to the workshop, Mr. Piplup.
(The scene transfers to the interior of Santa's Workshop, where a disguised Piplup was inside the workshop.)
Daruka: [takes off the Piplup mask] God, this Piplup mask is too sweaty for me to handle.
(An Impidimp comes into the base.)
Impidimp: Impi,Impidimp!
Daruka: Sorry, sir. I'll get to work immediately.
(The other Piplup and elves got to work on the presents, while the disguised Piplup, formally known as Daruka, worked in the lab. Impidimp walked into the mainframe of the workshop, which shows the Earth.)
Santa: What brings you here, Impidimp?
Impidimp: [speaking through the translator key chain on his neck] Christmas Eve is tomorrow and we've got tons of work to do on all of these presents.
Santa: Ho-ho-ho. I'm sure we'll get it done by tomorrow night, Impidimp.
Impidimp: I sure hope so, Santa.
(The door dramatically bursts open, revealing the new and improved Daruka. She now has a scar located on her left eye, a Team Rocket-themed uniform, and snow boots located near some knee-high ankle socks.)
Daruka: Not so fast, you bastards!
Santa: It's Daruka Miller, Faith's evil sister!
Daruka: That's right, and I'm taking over this workshop!
Santa: Oh, yeah? You and what army?
(A bunch of Team Rocket Grunts appeared in front of Santa, as well as Boris and Natasha.)
Daruka: This army!
(Santa was tied and gagged to Daruka and her other Team Rocket goons.)
Santa: [muffled speaking]
Impidimp: Oh, no! Santa's knocked out! I gotta get some help.
(Impidimp pulls out an orange Rotom Phone and takes out the location of Mordecai and Faith's home.)
Impidimo: The Paldea region, perfect. Once I get to Paldea, I'll tell Mordecai and Faith about the news.
(Song: The Challenge of Life)

(The scene changes to show Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmot (Male), Koraidon, Appletun, Armarouge, Clodsire, and Skeledirge, alongside Woody himself, jumping into the air, alongside Faith and Floragato, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Shelgon, Togetic, Ceruledge, and her Typhlosion (Hisuian Form). Geoff and Houndoom, alongside Finizen, Veluza, Capsakid, Bramblin, Miraidon, Flamigo, Litleo, Foongus, Tandermaus, Fuecoco, Oricorio (Pa'u Style), Nymble, Grafaiai, Smeargle, Bellossom, Skunktank, Cetoddle, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Musharna, Banscream, Iron Bundle, Calyrex, Spectrier, Jynx, Gourgeist (Average Size), Polteageist, Misdreavus (Aevian Form), Zapdos (Galarian Form), Horsea, Seel, Jellicent, Snorunt, Snowlow, Glimmet, Munchlax: {Delta Form}, and Snowrong also appear alongside Woody and Hydro, with Bullwinkle and his Quaxwell, Oinkologne (Male), Greavard, and Rabsca appearing alongside the trio.)
Faith and Mordecai: [both reading the title] "Crisis at the North Pole (Part 1)!"
Narrator: Christmas Eve is tomorrow, and our heroes were getting ready for Christmas Day. Ironically enough, Faith's cousin, Carmen the Eevee, was staying with them for the holiday season.
Carmen: Faith, did you get the star on top of the tree yet?
Faith: [straining] Almost… got it! Almost…
(Faith's Pawmo reached to the top of the Christmas tree.)
Mordecai: It sure was nice of your mom to let you put the star on top of the Christmas tree, Faith.
Faith: I convinced her a lot, to be honest.
(Pinky and Brain were inside of their cage.)
Pinky: Egad, that star is so bright!
(Pinky puts a pair of sunglasses on his eyes.)
Pinky: That's better. Narf!
(The door knocks.)
Brain: Pinky, can you get out of the cage and answer the door, please?
Pinky: Sure. [exits out of the cage]
(Pinky exits out of the cage. He opens the door to find a goblin-like Pokémon.)
Pinky: Yikes!
(Pinky hides behind a present box.)
Impidimp: Imp?
Woody: It's an Impidimp! [oulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Woody's Rotom Phone chimes]
Woody's Rotom Phone: "Impidimp, the Wily Pokémon. A Dark and Fairy type. Impidimp sucks in negative emotions through its nose, giving it health and energy. It will become irritated without any negative energy to feed on and will oftentimes get itself in trouble."
Impidimp: [speaking through the PokéComm] "You guys won't believe what happened today – Santa has been kidnapped!"
Woody: What?! Santa has been kidnapped?!
Impidimp: "I'm afraid so. Daruka and her Team Rocket goons have kidnapped him in the North Pole."
Woody: Where's the North Pole?
Impidimp: "The North Pole is in the middle of the Arctic Ocean."
Yakko: Wait, Santa's kidnapped?!
Pinky: I'm afraid so, Yakko.
Yakko: Oh, no! That means I can't get my own Nintendo Switch and all the Nintendo Switch games I asked for!
Dot: We gotta save Santa.
Wakko: How do we get to the North Pole?
Dot: The North Pole is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean so we need to get there by boat.
Pinky: Dot, didn't you remember what happened last time when we went to New Poké City by boat?
(FLASHBACK…)
Dot: Ooh, I want to steer the ship!
Wakko: No! I want to steer!
{Wakko and Dot bickering}
Mordecai: Dudes, you're gonna crash the boat!
(But it was too late! The boat crashed into an iceberg.)
Dot: Whoops.
Mordecai: This is what happens when you two bicker – you end up hurting either someone or something.
(The S.S. Lapras sinks to the bottom of the ocean.)
Moose: How are we going to get to New Poké City now?
(END OF FLASHBACK…)
Dot: That's the last time I let Wakko drive a ship.
Wakko: It's not my fault I crashed into it.
Yakko: Guys, guys, guys, stop fighting! It's Christmastime!
Dot: Yeah, you're right, Yakko. We should stop fighting.
Yakko: Enough chit-chat. Let's go to the Atlantic Ocean,
and this time, I'll drive the boat.
(The scene changes to show the East Paldean Sea, where Yakko had his boat in under a cover.)
Yakko: [wearing his blue fur coat and brown pants] Presenting the mother of all aquatic vehicles, the S.S. Unsinkable! I named it after the Titanic.
(Yakko removes the cover of the S.S. Unsinkable. It was a large ship with a heated pool, a row of pool chairs, and a captain's room on the inside. It also had Yakko's ear design on the top of the ship.)
Dot: How'd you get this ship, big brother?
Yakko: I'm glad you asked, Dot. I saved up all my money from working on our show in my own piggy bank.
Dot: Impressive!
Yakko: Come on, let's get on this ship and set sail for the North Pole!
Faith: [wearing her pink snow dress] North Pole, here we come!
Moose: Comeon, Flaaffy, we've got to save Christmas!
Flaaffy: Flaa!
(Pinky and Brain get out of their cage and got their stuff into their suitcases, where they headed on the S.S. Unsinkable.)
(S.S Aqua – Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver OST)
Yakko: Welcome aboard to the S.S. Unsinkable! Setting sail from the East Paldean Sea to the North Pole!
Faith: God, it's hot in this coat.
(Faith takes off her winter coat, revealing her pink one-piece swimsuit.)
Moose: Faith, why are you wearing a swimsuit under your Winter clothes?
Faith: I get hot easily.
Moose: Fair enough. Wanna go swimming with me and Buffy?
Faith: Sure. What kind of swimsuit is Buffy wearing?
Moose: You'll like her swimsuit. I just gave it to her as an early Christmas present.
(Faith walks up to the pool in her swimsuit. She sees Buffy and her Bayleef playing in the water. Buffy is wearing a one-piece swimsuit with red and green stripes, similar to those on candy canes.)
Faith: You look pretty in that candy cane-themed swimsuit, Buffy.
Buffy: Thanks. Moosey got it for me as an early Christmas present.
Geoff: The North Pole is also the location for Regice.
Buffy: What's a Regice?
(Buffy, making sure she doesn't get her Rotom Phone wet, dries off her hands before using her Rotom Phone.)
Buffy's Rotom Phone: "Regice, the Iceberg Pokémon. An Ice type. Regice has a body made out of ice, which formed during the Ice Age. It has the power to freeze both people and Pokémon using cold air dropping down to-328 Degrees Fahrenheit."
Woody: Regice doesn't trust anybody who approaches it, even to good guys.
Dot: You got that right.
Wakko: What was the Pokémon's name again?
Dot: Regice. It was found during the Ice Age, but after the Ice Age was over, it became frozen in a glacier.
Wakko: I've heard its body can't be melted by fire.
Woody: But not by Fire-type attacks, right, Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pika!
Faith: [sighs sadly]
Yakko: What's wrong, Faith?
Faith: This is my first Christmas away from Paldea.
Yakko: Really?
Faith: Yes. Ever since our move to Paldea from this April, I felt… empty.
Mordecai: Well, tell us about your Christmases in your Littleroot Town.
Faith: Well, if it'll make me feel better.
(Faith puts a warm blanket over her soaking-wet bathing suit.)
Faith: After Thanksgiving, my mom would decorate our real Christmas trees, but after adopting Perry, a Hisuian Growlithe puppy, we had to use artificial trees. My dad would let me and Drew go see the holiday lights in Petalburg City at Pokéwild, and on Christmas Eve morning, my mom would get a dozen delicious Christmas-themed doughnuts and she would let me and Drew open up a present before Christmas morning.
Yakko: Wow, your family must've cared for you a lot since you were a baby.
Dot: Yakko's right. You were born a winner and you'll die as a successful woman.
Yakko: Sibs, it's time it's time to give Faith a Christmas she'll never forget.
Dot: Really?
Yakko: If it's a perfect Christmas Faith will have, it's a perfect Christmas she will receive.
Pinky: Can I order some Krispy Kreme donuts, Yakko?
Yakko: Sure, Pinky.
Brain: A perfect Christmas for Faith? Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so, Brain, but wouldn't snow be the perfect thing for Faith's Christmas?
Brain: Yes, Pinky. Snow is the only thing we're missing from Faith's perfect Christmas.
Pinky: Egad, Brain. Brilliant! Oh, wait… no. Where can we get snow?
Brain: From the North Pole, the coldest place on Earth.
Pinky: Great idea, Brain.
Brain: Why, thank you, Pinky.
Pinky: You're welcome. Narf!
(Later…)
Wakko: How long until we get to the North Pole, Yakko?
Yakko: We should be there tomorrow morning by 6:00 AM.
Faith: What?! By 6 am, it'll be Christmas Eve!
Yakko: I know, but traveling by sea usually takes a long time.
Faith: If you say so, Yakko.
Yakko: [yawns] I think I earned myself a good night's sleep.
(Later, that night…)
Daruka: [on Faith's Rotom Phone] Faith, come in!
Faith: Daruka?!
Daruka: Hey, Faith. Look, after kidnapping Santa yesterday night, I thought about something I've never thought about before.
Faith: What's that?
Daruka: I'M GOING TO RUIN CHRISTMAS!
[Daruka laughing evilly]
Faith: What?!
Daruka: If you want to save Christmas, you gotta battle with me and my strong Pokémon!
Faith: What?!
Daruka: Oh. I almost forgot. Lexie over here will have to reveal her Fire-type powers to me and my goons! And as for you, Faith. You'll reveal her mermaid transformation powers to me!
Faith: Not good! Not good at all!
("Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
Yakko, Wakko, and Faith: Who's that Pokémon?!
(A silhouette shows a picture of an ice-like Pokémon.)
…
(A while later, the silhouette disappears, revealing a picture of Regice.)
Yakko, Wakko, and Faith: It's… Regice!
Regice: Regice!
(End of "Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
Pinky: What's wrong?
Brain: Daruka's planning to destroy Christmas and the only way to stop her is with a Pokémon battle!
Pinky: How'd you know?
Brain: My Delphox can see into the future!
Pinky: [yawns] Let's wait until tomorrow morning to get to the North Pole.
Brain: Good idea, Pinky. [puts on his long-sleeved blue pajama shirt and pants]: I could use some shut=eye.
Narrator: Oh, no! Daruka is planning to destroy Christmas for all eternity! What will happen next? Stay tuned to find out what happens at the North Pole, as the journey continues!
