Woody's Pokémon Journeys: The Way of the Warrior!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is the first episode of Woody's Pokémon Journeys in 2024.)
(The scene takes place at around December 31st, 2023 at around 1:00 AM. A gang of Team Rocket members, alongside their leader Daruka, were stocking up on Poké Balls.)
Greg: Ryan, are you heading to the New Year's Eve ball drop tonight?
Ryan: You bet I am. Raticate and I wouldn't miss New Year's Eve for the world.
?: Hey! You!
Ryan: Who's that?
Akari: The name's Akari, and you guys better stop stealing all those Poké Ball-shaped fireworks or I'm gonna go full ninja on you!
Ryan: Bring it on!
Akari: Very well. [sends out her Samurott]: Samurott, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Samurott: Samurott!
Ryan: [sends out his Raticate] Raticate, go!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Raticate: Raticate!
Akari: Samurott, use Razor Shell!
(Akari's Samurott released a simitar from one of its arms, and used it to knock down Raticate.)
Akari: Anybody else willing to battle me?
(The other Team Rocket Grunts saw Akari and ran for their lives.)
Akari: Hand over the fireworks, you bastards.
(One of the Team Rocket Grunts scaredly gave Akari the fireworks.)
Akari: Pleasure doing business with you.
(Later, that morning…)
Faith: Boy, oh, boy, I'm so excited for 2024 to start!
Mordecai: Me, too. We got everything we needed from Party City for our big New Year's Eve party- streamers, balloons, noisemakers, party hats, and even a New Year's Eve cake.
?: Faith, it's so good to see you again!
Faith: Who's that?
(An Eevee dressed in a kimono approaches Faith.)
Faith: Akari?
Akari: That's me! I haven't seen you in such a long time!
Faith: You know what they say, "Time flies when you're having fun."
Samurott: Samu!
Akari: This ismy partner, Samurott. He evolved a few years before we moved to Kitakami.
Faith: Samurott? [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
[Faith's Rotom Phone chimes]
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Samurott, the Formidable Pokémon. A Water type. Samurott leads its army with strict leadership, but it will attack anyone who won't follow its rules. It uses the four swords on its body to defeat opponents."
Akari: Faith, you've got to help me. Team Rocket tried to attack me last night.
Faith: When did that happen?
Akari: It happened at 1:00 AM this morning.
Faith: [gasps in shock] That's terrible! What did they do to you?
Akari: Team Rocket hurts anyone who tries to stop them and they attacked me by stripping off my clothes!
Faith: I'm so sorry that happened to you, Akari.
Akari: Yeah, I'm sorry too.
Faith: Don't worry, Akari. Faith, Mordecai, and I will help you out.
Akari: Cool! Isn't Woody supposed to be with you and Geoff?
Faith: I gave those bozos a break from battling.
Akari: Great! Let's kick some Team Rocket butt!
(Song: The Challenge of Life)
"Rise if you're prepared for the challenge

(The scene changes to show Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmot (Male), Koraidon, Dipplin, Armarouge, Clodsire, and Skeledirge, alongside Woody himself, jumping into the air, alongside Faith and Meowscarada, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Shelgon, Togetic, Ceruledge, and her Typhlosion (Hisuian Form). Geoff and Houndoom, alongside Finizen, Veluza, Capsakid, Bramblin, Miraidon, Flamigo, Litleo, Foongus, Tandermaus, Fuecoco, Oricorio (Pa'u Style), Nymble, Grafaiai, Smeargle, Bellossom, Skunktank, Cetoddle, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Musharna, Banscream, Iron Bundle, Calyrex, Spectrier, Jynx, Gourgeist (Average Size), Polteageist, Misdreavus (Aevian Form), Zapdos (Galarian Form), Horsea, Seel, Jellicent, Snorunt, Snowlow, Glimmet, Munchlax: {Delta Form}, Yanma, and Snowrong also appear alongside Woody and Faith, with Bullwinkle and his Quaxwell, Oinkologne (Male), Greavard, and Rabsca appearing alongside the trio.)
Faith: [reading the title] "The Way of the Warrior!"
Narrator: Faith's cousin, Akari, was coming over to the Land of Kitakami for a visit, but was determined to beat Team Rocket.
Faith: We gotta save The Festival of Masks from Team Rocket, but how?
Akari: We gotta become ninjas in order to stop Team Rocket.
Faith: No offense Akari, but I'm not wearing a ninja outfit that covers my headband.
Akari: I got a large-sizedninja dress you could wear.
Faith: Deal!
Woody: [walks in Faith's bedroom] Hi, Faith.
Faith: Hi, Woody, I'm training to be a ninja!
Woody: Whoa, I've never heard of woman ninjas before.
Faith: Yeah, but I'll be the first-ever Miller in this family to ever become a ninja.
Woody: Really?
Faith: Uh-huh.
Akari: If Faith wants to become a ninja, she must be stealthy, sneaky, and alert at all times. Follow me to my training dojo.
(In the training dojo…)
Akari: If we're gonna get you up against those Team Rocket goons, we've gotta train you.
Faith: How do we do that?
Akari: We train you by using these Raticate.
(A door opens up to reveal five Raticate.)
Raticate: [emerge from their doors] Raticate!
Faith: [sends out her Meowscarada] Meowscarada, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Meowscarada: Meowsca!
Faith: Meowscarada, defeat those Raticate using Scratch!
(Meowscarada uses Scratch on all five Raticate)
Akari: Well done, sensei Faith. Now it's time for your next test: the Stealth and Wits.
(The next scene shows Faith in a one-piece ninja-themed swimsuit.)
Faith: Why am I in a swimsuit?
Akari: Samurott has decided that an underwater-themed test would be right for you. This test involves you with a swim mask and a breathing regulator.
(Faith was given a purple swim mask and a regulator. She puts the swim mask on.)
Akari: There's a hoarde of Tentacool you'll need to defeat with your Gorebyss. Good luck!
Faith: Let's go this!
Gorebyss: Gorebyss!
(Faith and Gorebyss dive underwater. As soon as the duo were underwater, a hoarde of Tentacool surrounded them.)
Faith: Gorebyss, use Water Pulse!
(Gorebyss uses Water Pulse on five of the Tentacool in the tank, and were suddenly confused.)
Faith: Now use Draining Kiss!
(Gorebyss kisses the five Tentacool and were ultimately defeated.)
Faith: We did it!
(The next scene shows Faith back in her ninja dress. She was surrounded by a hallway.)
Faith: What's the last test?
Akari: The last test for your ninja training is to withstand Poison-type attacks so I've laid out the strongest Poison-type: Amoonguss.
(Five Amoonguss were shown.)
Faith: Amoonguss? [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
[Faith's Rotom Phone chimes]
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Amoonguss, the Mushroom Pokémon. A Grass and Poison type. Amoonguss uses its Poké Ball-like arms to capture its prey. It releases poisonous spores from its body, which, if in contact, will grow into mushrooms if they aren't washed off quickly."
Faith: I better do this by myself. You stay here, Meowscarada.
(Faith runs in the hallway. A trio of Amoonguss try to use Poison Powder on her.)
Faith: Don't use Poison Powder on me, you three. I'm too beautiful to die. [releases her Eevee]: Eevee, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Eevee: Vee!
Faith: Eevee, Tackle those Amoongus!
Eevee: [Tackle attack] Vee! Vee!
(The three Amoonguss were knocked out by Faith's Eevee, and as for the other two Amoonguss, they were swatted away by Eevee's Tail Whip.)
Akari: I think she's ready.
Woody: Really?
(Blood was shown on the floor, as the five Amoonguss moaned in pain.)
("Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
Akari and Faith: Who's that Pokémon?!
(A silhouette shows a picture of a samurai-like Pokémon.)
…
(Later, the question mark on the Pokémon's body disappears, revealing it to be Akari's Samurott.)
Akari and Faith: It's… Samurott!
Samurott: Samurott!
(End of "Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
(The scene changes to show the Festival of Masks.)
Woody: [wearing a dark green kimono] This is it, the Festival of Masks!
Geoff: I'm so excited for 2024!
Woody: Me, too.
Akari: Me, three!
Woody: Say, where's Faith?
Faith: I'm here!
(Faith leaps out of a tree, ninja style.)
Sharon: Faith, I'm so glad you passed your ninja test.
Faith: Yup, and I'm proud of being a ninja. The best part is I get to use these num-chuks.
(Faith uses her num-chuks at a group of Wattrel who fleed from the scene, but one of the parts from the num-chuks hurt her face.)
Faith: Ow!
Sharon: Be more careful with those num-chucks, Faith. They're very dangerous and should only be used for good.
Faith: I'll be careful, Mom.
(Benson sees Faith's ninja attire and has hearts in his eyes.)
Benson: Well, aren't you a pretty little ninja?
Sharon: Benson, what did I tell you about flirting with my daughter?
Benson: To not to.
Sharon: That's right. If she wants to be a ninja, she can.
Benson: Fine, but don't be like those mutant ninja Squirtle. They're pretty good at fighting bad guys.
Faith: I'll make sure I'll only be a ninja, Benson.
Benson: Good.
(All of a sudden, Daruka's Team Rocket Grunts showed up.)
Ryan: We're here to get Lexie and her Flareon-like powers. So stay away from our turf!
Faith: Oh, yeah? Make me!
(Battle! Ho-Oh – Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver OST)
Ryan: [sends out his Raticate] Raticate, go!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Raticate: Raticate!
Faith: Meowscarada, you go attack the other four Team Rocket Grunts. I'll team up with Akari and attack Giovanni.
Giovanni: Wait, I wasn't involved in this. Get 'em, Persian!
Persian: [meows] Raawwwrrr!
Akari: Samurott, use Slash!
Samurott: [Slash attack] Samu!
Giovanni: Persian, use Psychic!
(Giovanni's Persian generates Psychic-type energy from its forehead, almost knocking out Samurott!)
Mordecai: Samurott, no!
Moose: Um, guys, it's almost 12:00 AM!
Buffy: What do we do?!
Zee: What are we gonna do?!
(As Daruka and Giovanni battle, Faith blocks out her Meowscarada using her numb-chucks and silently sneaks up on Giovanni's Persian, where she gives the Classy Cat Pokémon a shadow-like punch.)
Mordecai and Moose: Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five four-
(Faith was able to defeat the last Team Rocket member before the New Year's Poké Ball dropped.)
Mordecai and Moose: …Three, two, one! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
("Auid Lang Syne" plays)
Faith: I did it! I saved the Festival of Masks!
Mordecai: And just in time, too.
Faith: Happy New Year!
(Faith and Mordecai kiss under the moonlight.)
Woody: Happy New Year, Pikachu!
Pikachu: Pikapi! (Happy New Year, Woody!)
Narrator: As 2023 ends, 2024 begins. But just because the Winter Holidays are over doesn't mean love ends. No, sirree. Love begins now and forever. Stay tuned for more love-themed adventures, as the journey continues.
