Woody's Pokémon Journeys

A Trip Down Memory Lane!

(AUTHOR'S NOTE: Faith's childhood memories are revealed in this episode.)

Narrator: last time, our heroes experienced a thoughtful memory when Drew and Hazel got married. Now, with the couple married, our heroes were in for more thoughtful memories the month leading up to Valentine's Day.

Faith: Mom, why do I have to clean me and Drew's bedroom attic? It's too dusty in there and you know how sensitive I am to dust.

Sharon: I know you love cleaning, so that's why I decided to let you clean.

(To clean the attic, faith wore a black and white strapless maid's dress over a strapless dress bra.)

Faith: And why do I have to wear the maid dress?

Sharon: You always were a fan of fashion.

Faith: Meh, works for me.

(Faith goes up in the attic with Drew, Mordecai, and Rigby.)

Faith: Boy, this attic sure is dusty.

[Faith coughing up dust]

Mordecai: faith, look what I found.

(Faith finds a cardboard box with stuff from her childhood, specifically the stuff she grew up with from March 25th, 2004 to March 25th, 2017.)

Faith: [gasps] I know what this is!

Mordecai: What is this, Faith?

Faith: These are all my childhood memories.

Pinky: What's childhood?

Brain: Childhood is the process of someone growing up from a baby to a teenager. They usually keep their childhood stuff in a box to make their childhood memories last forever.

(A stack of DVDs fell on Faith's head.)

Faith: [gasps] I know what these are. These are my favorite Baby Einstein DVDs.

(The DVDs were revealed to be Baby Einstein DVDs. There was Baby Mozart, Baby Beethoven, Baby Shakespeare from 2002, Baby Van Gogh (2003), Baby Neptune (2003), On the Go (2005), Neighborhood Animals (2003), World Animals (2003), Baby Newton (2003), Baby Galieo (2003), Baby Santa's Music Box (2002), and Lullaby Time.)

Faith: Baby Beethoven, Baby Mozart, Baby Shakespeare, Baby Van Gogh, Baby Neptune, On the Go, Neighborhood Animals, World Animals, baby Newton, Baby Galieo, Baby Santa, Lullaby Time – they're all here!

Pinky: "Baby Einstein"? What's that?

Brain: It's a franchise, Pinky.

Pinky: Look what I found, Brain. It's Faith's first raddle.

[Raddle shakes]

Moose: And this bee dress must've been Faith's first Halloween costume as a baby.

(Zee takes off her clothes and puts on Faith's bee dress.)

Moose: We better clean this attic first before we do anything else.

Zee: Good idea, Moose.

(Song: The Challenge of Life)

"Rise if you're prepared for the challenge
(Rise to the challenge)
Rise if you're a champion at heart
(Rise to the challenge)

Take my hand, we'll train as one
And triumph together
(Rise to the challenge)
Nothing's gonna stand in our way

Stronger and stronger we'll
Rise to the challenge of
Life
Pokémon!
"

(End of The Challenge of Life)

Woody: [reading the title] "A Trip Down Memory Lane!"

Narrator: While our heroes were cleaning the attic, Moose and his friends found Faith's box of childhood toys.

Faith: Mom, Mom, Mom, look what I found!

Sharon: I know what these are, faith. This is the stuff you grew up with.

Faith: And I found all the Baby Einstein DVDs I grew up with.

Sharon: It's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since you came into this world, Faith.

Faith: Time flies when you're having fun, huh?

Sharon: Pretty much.

Moose: And this must be Faith's photo album as a baby.

(Moose opens the album up.)

Rigby: Faith, I didn't know you were a baby.

Mordecai: Dude, everybody's born as a baby, especially animals.

Rigby: There's a picture of Faith as a bee for her first Halloween.

(Another picture shows Faith crying after seeing Moose sing "I Don't Like Candy Corn" on the TV.)

Faith: This is definitely the first Halloween after experiencing Moose sing "I Don't Like Candy Corn" for the first time.

[Mordecai laughs]

Faith: Hey, it's not my fault I wasn't brave as a little girl.

Hazel: Was this you as a baby, Drew?

Drew: [blushes] Yes, that's what I looked like as a baby.

(Suddenly, Faith's raddle flew into the air, knocking out Faith.)

Faith: Hey, is that my rattle?

[Rattle bonks on head]

Drew: Faith! / Hazel: Are you okay?

Sharon: We gotta get Faith to a hospital.

(A Pokémon Center was seen on a nearby island.)

Nurse Joy: It seems like that one of the baby rattles from her box of childhood memories bonked her on the head.

(Faith was wearing a light blue nightgown.)

Faith: [thinking] Childhood… come back.

(A flashback shows the Hoenn region. It was March 25th, 2008, 11 years before the invention of Rotom Phones. It was two weeks after Faith and her family moved to Hoenn. A 4-year-old version of Faith woke up. She wore a dress-like nightgown.)

Sharon: Faith, time for breakfast!

Faith: Coming, Mom!

(Faith went downstairs and saw balloons, a birthday cake, and a huge stack of pancakes. Her 3-year-old brother Drew was a baby. He wore a short-sleeved shirt and shorts underneath a diaper. He crawled to Faith and hugged her.)

Drew: [hugs Faith]

Faith: Thanks, Drew.

(Twinleaf Town – Pokémon Diamond and Pearl OST)

Sharon: Faith, I want you to meet Professor Birch.

Professor Birch: Hello, Faith. Welcome to the Hoenn region.

Faith: Hello!

Professor Birch: Now, even though you aren't 10 years old yet, I'd like to give you your very first starter Pokémon. Choose wisely, as this Pokémon will be with you for many generations to come.

(There were three Poké Balls on the table and all three Pokémon popped out.)

Treecko: Treecko! / Torchic: Torchic! / Mudkip: Mudkip!

Faith: I think I'll chose Torchic.

Professor Birch: Excellent choice, Miss Faith. Here's your Pokédex.

(Faith was given a pink Pokédex from Professor Birch. Note: Since this episode had a flashback that took place in 2008, Faith's Pokédex will be the ones from Sinnoh.)

Professor Birch: And here's your Trainer's uniform.

(Faith's Trainer uniform consisted of a purple headband with a red dress, which had a white Poké Ball at the top, as well as a pair of red sandals since Faith doesn't like to wear shoes in the Spring.)

Faith: Thanks!

Sharon: Faith, are you sure you're ready to go on your first Pokémon journey? I mean, you're only at the age of 4.

Faith: I'll be fine, Mom. I've traveled by boat before, you know.

Sharon: If you say so.

(Faith picks up her Poké Ball and releases her Torchic.)

Faith's Torchic: Tor!

(Faith pulls out her Pokédex and scans Torchic.)

Faith: Let's see who you are.

[Faith's Pokédex chimes]

Faith's Pokédex : Torchic, the Chick Pokémon. Torchic has a place where it keeps its flame sac lit and will release body heat when hugged. It unleashes fireballs that can burn its enemies to a crisp at over 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit.

Faith: Sounds like something that'll keep me warm during the Winter. Come, Torchic, let us begin our Pokémon journey.

Professor Birch: Wait! You'll also need plenty of Poké Balls if you want to catch plenty of Pokémon for your journey.

(Professor Birch gives Faith a bagful of Poké Balls.)

Sharon: Bye, Faith. Have fun on your journey!

Faith: I will, Mom!

(Route 1 – Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen OST)

Faith: Route 101 sounds like a good place to start catching Pokémon.

(The grass rustles, revealing the Pokémon to be a female Wurmple.)

Faith: What's that? [pulls out her Pokédex]

[Faith's Pokédex chimes]

Faith's Pokédex: "Wurmple, the Worm Pokémon. Wurmple eats leaves and sap, which come from trees. When attacked by a group of Starly, it will strike back using the spikes on its rear end."

Faith: Let's battle that Wurmple, Torchic!

(Torchic was sent out.)

Torchic: Torchic!

Faith: Torchic, use Ember!

(Torchic unleashes a fireball from its beak, knocking out Wurmple. Faith throws a Poké Ball at the wild Wurmple and was soon successfully captured.)

Faith: I caught a Wurmple!

Torchic: Tor!

Faith: By going through this route, we can reach Oldale Town.

(Faith and her Torchic reached to Oldale Town, the first sight of their Hoennian journey.)

Faith: [returns Torchic to its Poké Ball] Torchic, get some rest. You'll need it for some battles later.

(Oldale Town – Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire OST)

Faith: We better get some supplies if we ever want to get to Rustboro City.

(20 minutes later, Faith comes back with a bunch of Potions, Antidotes, and Awakenings, as well as an extra helping of Poké Balls.)

Poké Mart Employee: You better be careful in Petalburg Woods, kid. I've heard that a massive swarm of Beedrill live in Petalburg Woods.

Faith: What are Beedrill? [pulls out her Pokédex and types in Beedrill's name]

[Faith's Pokédex chimes]

Faith's Pokédex: "Beedrill, the Poison Bee Pokémon, and the evolved form of Kakuna. Beedrill are known to attack people in swarms. They use their poisonous stingers to attack their prey and will fly off as soon as the prey is defeated."

Faith: No matter how hard those Beedrill are, we can still beat them, right, Torchic?

Torchic: Tor, tor!

(Later, at Petalburg Woods…)

Faith: These woods sure are dark and spooky.

(Faith's Wurmple was beside Faith and Torchic and was eager for a good battle.)

Faith: We're ready to beat Roxanne, aren't we, Wurmple?

Wurmple: Wurmple!

[Buzzing sounds]

Faith: What's that noise?

(Faith peeks into a bush and finds a trio of Kakuna resting.)

Faith: Are those cocoons? [pulls out her Pokédex]

[Faith's Pokédex chimes]

Faith's Pokédex : Kakuna, the Cocoon Pokémon, and the evolved form of Weedle. Kakuna do not move until they evolve into Beedrill, so they will rest on trees until evolution. It hides from predators inside tree branches."

Faith: Those are Kakuna? They look more like cocoons to me.

(The wild Kakuna see Faith and they evolve into a trio of angry Beedrill.)

Beedrill: Beedrill!

Faith: Wurmple, run!

(The wild Beedrill chase after Faith and Wurmple. The duo ended up near a cliff so they feel from the cliff and into a river where a yellow moose was fishing for Water-type Pokémon. The Eevee girl was rescued.)

?: You okay there, pal?

Faith: Yeah, just a little wet. Who are you?

(The yellow Trainer shows himself. He's a yellow moose wearing a white t-shirt with a Poké Ball symbol on the front, as well as orange shorts.)

Moose: I'm Moose A. Moose, but you can call me Moose?

Faith: What does the "A" in your name stand for?

Moose: The "A" stands for Augustus.

Faith: Thanks for saving me, Moose.

Moose: You're welcome. Hey, Zee, come quick. We found a new friend.

(The bluebird was wearing a pink dress-like shirt and shorts.)

Zee: Who's that?

Moose: This is Faith Miller. She moved to Hoenn just only two weeks ago. How's your journey going?

Faith: Not good. We got chased by Beedrill, I'm soaking wet, and Torchic's hungry.

(Torchic and Wurmple's stomachs growled.)

Moose: Lucky for you, I got some Pokémon food I can cook up for your hungry comrades.

Faith: [thinking] Boy, for a moose, that guy sure knows a lot of big words.

(Moose cooked up a bunch of Pokémon food for Wurmple and Torchic while he made some steak and green beans for Faith.)

Moose: Chow time, everyone!

(Wurmple, Torchic, and Faith ate their lunches with their new pals, Moose Augustus Moose and Zee D. Bird.)

Moose: I'm glad everybody had a great lunch. If you'd like, I can find you a Water-type Pokémon to help you in your journey.

Faith: Sure. I have a fishing rod I can use.

(Faith pulls out her pink fishing rod and fishes in the river. She eventually pulled out a strong Magikarp.)

Faith: Whoa, is that a fish?!

Moose: No, it's a Magikarp.

Faith: Never heard of a Magikarp before. [pulls out her Pokédex]

[Faith's Pokédex chimes]

Faith's Pokédex : Magikarp, the Fish Pokémon. Magikarp are considered to be the weakest Pokémon in the world, but they're very hardy and can survive in any kind of environment as long as there's water.

Faith: Go, Poké Ball!

(Faith throws a Poké Ball at the wild Magikarp, which was soon caught.)

Faith: Let's see what moves Magikarp has.

{Faith's Pokédex chimes}

Faith's Pokédex: Magikarp knows the following moves: Splash, Tackle, and Water Gun.

Moose: You're totally going to win your first Gym Battle, Faith.

Faith: Let's go, Torchic!

(Later, at Rustboro City…)

Faith: Here we are, Rustboro City.

(Rustboro City – Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire OST)

Faith: Let's get healed up!

(Faith healed up Torchic, Wurmple, and Magikarp and was soon inside the Rustboro City Gym.)

Roxanne: So you came for a battle, huh?

Faith: Yes.

Roxanne: My name is Roxanne and I don't say "no" to a battle. Let's rock this city!

(Battle! Gym Leader! – Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire OST)

Roxanne: Geodude, go!

[Poké Ball opens up]

Geodude: Geo!

Faith: What's that?

Faith's Pokédex: [chimes] "Geodude, the Rock Pokémon. Geodude are found on mountains. Its body is buried in half of the ground it lays on so it can see people walking by.

Roxanne: Geodude, use Tackle!

(Geodude tackles its body at Magikarp.)

Faith: Magikarp, use Water Gun!

Magikarp: [Water Gun attack] Karp!

(Geodude was weakened by Magikarp's Water Gun attack and was sent back to its Poké Ball. Another Geodude was sent out, but was weakened by Magikarp's Water Gun attack. Roxanne's third and final Pokémon was a Nosepass.)

Roxanne: Try and beat my Nosepass, pal!

Faith: Who's that Pokémon? [pulls out her Pokédex]

[Faith's Pokédex chimes]

Faith's Pokédex: Nosepass, the Compass Pokémon. Nosepass pulls in metal objects from its body, which it uses to protect its body. It can attract prey by emitting electromagnetic waves from its body.

Moose: You can do it, Faith.

Zee: We believe in you!

Faith: Magikarp, use Hydro Pump!

Roxanne: What?!

(Magiakrp unleashes a mouthful of water from its mouth, weakening Nosepass. Roxanne then puts Nosepass back inside its Poké Ball.)

Faith: We did it! We defeated Roxanne!

Roxanne: That was awesome sauce, Faith. Here's the Stone Badge.

(Roxanne gives Faith the Stone Badge.)

Moose and Zee: Three cheers for Faith. Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray!

(A rock bonks Faith on the head. The scene changes to a Pokémon Center on January 12th, 2024, a day after Faith got knocked out.)

Faith: [wakes up]

Moose: Look, she's waking up!

Pinky: How are you feeling, Faith?

Faith: I feel tired and yet nostalgic.

Nurse Joy: Must be the sleeping pills we gave to her 10 minutes ago.

Faith: Ilove you guys.

Mordecai: We love you, too, Faith.

Pikachu: [hugs Faith] Pika!

Faith: Aww, thanks, Pikachu.

Narrator: It turned out that the start of 4-year-old Faith's journey was only a dream that even it was real, Faith would've gotten hurt but thanks to her friends, she was able to realize that the best part of a journey is how it is. Stay tuned for more adventures in Blueberry Academy, as the journey continues!

(To Be Continued…)

THE END!

Another fan-made episode complete!

(January 12th, 2024): I'm glad I get to only do online college work rather than classes for the rest of the semester. Also, clear that my journey as a 4-year-old back in March 2008 was only a dream.

I'll see you guys next time!
