Pidgey VS Skarmory!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is the debut of Faith's Pidgey.)
Narrator: Last time, Faith got knocked out by one of her childhood toys, a baby rattle. After being knocked out for almost 48 hours, she knew that starting a journey would be hard but as the days go, her friends would be supportive of her. Now, we see Faith spending her first weekend at the Terarium, flicking seashells into the sea.
(Faith was seen in her swimsuit, flicking seashells into the ocean.)
Faith: I never realized the Terarium was built in the middle of the ocean. I'm just glad we're not drowning in the Terarium.
Mordecai; [in his red floral swim shorts] You said it!
[Screeching]
Faith: What's that?
(A Braviary was seen swooping down above the Terarium.)
Faith: What is that, a Pidgeot?
Lexie: This is my Braviary.
Braviary: [screeches]
Faith: I've never seen a Unovian Braviary before. [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
[Faith's Rotom Phone chimes]
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Braviary, the Valiant Pokémon. A Normal and Flying type. Braviary isn't afraid of anything, especially death. It is oftentimes seen as a symbol for different emblems, and its nickname is "The Hero of the Skies" due to its brave personality."
Faith: You never told me you had a Braviary.
Lexie: Sure did. I used to have a Rufflet back on my team but it evolved into a Braviary. Show me your moves, Braviary!
(Braviary flew up into the air and used its talons to grab onto preying Magikarp.)
Woody: That's so cool!
Faith: Woody, what are you doing outside the Terarium?
Woody: Just needed a break, that's all. Whoa, is that a Braviary?!
Lexie: Mmm-hmm!
(Lexie pets Braviary on the head.)
Lexie: I got a Rufflet for only 1,000 dollars.
Faith: To be honest, that sounds like a lot of money.
Lexie: Sure is. You guys bettersave up your money for a rare Pokémon Egg.
(Lexie goes inside the Terarium.)
Faith: I'd love to have a bird Pokémon by my side – a bird Pokémon I'd love to own.
(A silhouette of a Pidgey is shown.)
(Song: The Challenge of Life)

(The scene changes to show Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmot (Male), Koraidon, Appletun, Armarouge, Clodsire, and Skeledirge, alongside Woody himself, jumping into the air, alongside Faith and Meowscarada, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Shelgon, Togetic, Ceruledge, and her Typhlosion (Hisuian Form). Geoff and Houndoom, alongside Finizen, Veluza, Capsakid, Bramblin, Miraidon, Flamigo, Litleo, Foongus, Tandermaus, Fuecoco, Oricorio (Pa'u Style), Nymble, Grafaiai, Smeargle, Bellossom, Skunktank, Cetoddle, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Musharna, Banscream, Iron Bundle, Calyrex, Spectrier, Jynx, Gourgeist (Average Size), Polteageist, Misdreavus (Aevian Form), Zapdos (Galarian Form), Horsea, Seel, Jellicent, Snorunt, Snowlow, Glimmet, Munchlax: {Delta Form}, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, Okidogi, Ogerpon, and Noibat and Snowrong also appear alongside Woody and Hydro, with Bullwinkle and his Quaxwell, Oinkologne (Male), Greavard, and Rabsca appearing alongside the trio, and as for Hazel, her Kingler and Blastoise appeared.)
Woody: [reading the title] "Pidgey VS Skarmory!"
(The scene changes to show the Forest Biome, where Mordecai was trying to find a Pokémon for Faith.)
Mordecai: Faith said she'd like her own bird Pokémon. I wonder what she likes.
(A Pidgey walks out of the grass and attacks Mordecai.)
Mordecai: A Pidgey, just what Faith likes! [throws a Poké Ball at Pidgey] Go, Poké Ball!
(Pidgey was caught inside a Poké Ball.)
Mordecai's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Pidgey's data has been registered to your Pokédex!
Mordecai: Perfect! Now to get Pidgey to Faith!
(Later, in Faith's bedroom…)
Mordecai: This Pidgey has an incredibly good sense of directions and wealth.
Faith: Hi, Mordecai. Is that a wrapped Poké Ball? But my birthday isn't until March 25th.
Mordecai: It's an early birthday present from me, you silly Zangoose. Here, open it!
(The Poké Ball was opened up, revealing it to be a friendly Pidgey.)
Faith: Is that a Pidgey?! [pulls out her pink Rotom Phone and scans Pidgey]
[Faith's Rotom Phone chimes]
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. A Normal and Flying type. Pidgey has an incredibly good sense of direction, allowing it to travel back to its nest, even if it's too far away. It's a very docile Pokémon and will usually kick up sand from its feet rather than battling."
Mordecai: Watch out for those talons, Charles. They'll like razors.
Faith: Let's see what Pidgey knows. Rotom, what are the moves that Pidgey knows?
[Faith's Rotom Phone chimes]
Faith's Rotom Phone: Pidgey knows the following moves: Tackle, Sand Attack, and Gust.
Faith: This is amazing!
Mordecai: You should enter Pidgey in the Sky Relay.
Faith: The what?
Mordecai: The Sky Relay is a Paldean event that Flying-type Pokémon can enter in.
Faith: Cool, can't wait to join.
Pinky: Ooh, a Flying-type relay sounds fun.
Brain: Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so, Brain, but I get airsick when I'm traveling by air.
Brain: No, Pinky. We'll enter the Sky Relay and win 1st Prize!
Pinky: Good.
[Skarmory screeching]
Pinky: What's that?
(A Skarmory swoops down and grabs Pinky in the head.)
?: Skarmory, unhand Pinky and the Brain this instant!
(Daruka approaches Faith.)
Faith: Daruka, my own nemesis!
Daruka: Looking for moi? My Skarmory and I are looking for a challenge.
Brain: What's that? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Brain's Rotom Phone chimes]
Brain's Rotom Phone: "Skarmory, the Armor Bird Pokémon. A Steel and Flying type. Skarmory's body is covered in steel-like armor. Despite the armor being incredibly heavy, it can fly at over 185 miles per hour."
(Skarmory's eyes appear to be red.)
Faith: Why are Skarmory's eyes red?
?: Skarmory has been possessed by the R Substance.
Woody: Carmine and Kieran?
(Carmine and Kieran walk towards Faith and her Pidgey.)
Carmine: Daruka raises her Pokémon as slaves.
Woody: So what does Carmine do to any weak Pokémon?
Carmine: Daruka feeds weak Pokémon, such as Magikarp, to her evil Pokémon.
(A scene shows Daruka feeding numerous Magikarp to her Delta Milotic.)
Woody: That's so edgy!
Faith: I know right? She should be arrested for tormenting Pokémon!
Woody: No, I meant she's a menace to society.
Faith: That, too.
Daruka: Boris, Natasha, are you signing up for the Sky Relay?
Boris: We sure are. I have Honchkrow and Natasha has Noivern!
Natasha: Noivern, come on out!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Noivern: Noivern!
Carmine: What's that? [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
[Carmine's Rotom Phone chimes]
Carmine's Rotom Phone: "Noivern, the Sound Wave Pokémon. A Flying and Dragon type, and the evolved form of Noibat. Noivern releases ultrasonic waves from its ears, allowing it to destroy boulders. It's very aggressive and will attack anyone it sees."
Carmine: So that's a Noivern.
Woody: Noivern may be aggressive, but they can defeat anyone they see, even in the dark.
Kieran: I agree!
Carmine: Don't worry, Toucannon. We'll win the battle.
Toucannon: Toucannon!
Woody: I wish Trumbeak was here to see the battle. [sighs sadly]: But don't worry, I'll record the video of the Sky Relay on my Rotom Phone and sends it to my mom through PokéTube.
Mordecai: We gotta train Pidgey to win the battle, Faith!
Faith: Good idea. We can't let Skarmory win.
(Skarmory glares at Pidgey, much to his shock.)
Pidgey: Pidgey?
Faith: Don't worry, Pidgey, we'll win for sure!
Faith: Mr. Cyrano, do you have any Flying-type training rooms for Flying-type Pokémon?
Cyrano: Sure do! The Terarium has access for any kind of training rooms, even for Flying-types.
(Cyrano opens up a room. There was a big dome surrounding cliffs and oceans.)
Faith: Perfect! We'll get training right away! Let me get on my training outfit.
(Faith, moments later, was wearing a training outfit. Her training outfit consisted of a purple tank-top over a dress bra, as well as black shorts.)
Faith: Pidgey, I want you to be trained so much, you'll have muscles under your wings! [inhales, then blows a whistle]: Go through the hoops!
(Faith's Pidgey goes through the hoops as his Trainer was instructed to do.)
Faith: Yay, you got through the hoops!
Mordecai: Um, Faith? I don't mean to interrupt and all, but Pidgey isn't going to win if you treat him like a child.
Faith: You're right. We'll do this through a montage.
(Paul Stanley's "Live to Win"plays)
Faith: Go, Pidgey, go!
(Pidgey flies through the hoops. A montage occurs where Faith and her Eevee were training up Pidgey for the Sky Relay. It flew through multiple hoops, even the ones with surrounding fires. Pidgey successfully flied across the hoops and in the process, it learned Agility upon training. It lifted weights from its wings, gaining stronger muscles inside not only in its feathers, but in its body. The montage ends at 7:00 PM on that same Friday night, where Faith and Pidgey high-fived each other, ala the Rocky movies.)
Faith: We're totally gonna wing the competition? Get it, "wing"?! Because you're a bird and have wings? [laughing]
{Pidgey coos, then laughs}
(Saturday morning came and Carmine, Boris, Natasha, Pinky, and Brain entered their Pokémon to the Sky Relay. Faith had her Pidgey, Pinky had a Noctowl, Brain used his Charizard, Carmine with Toucannon, Boris with Honchkrow, and Natasha with Noivern.)
Falkner: Welcome to the 1st annual Pokémon Sky Relay race. I'm Falkner Jausch, the Gym Leader of Violet City in Johto and welcome to the relay! Trainers, start your Flying-types.
(Faith gives her Pidgey numerous Oran Berries.)
Faith: This is it, Pidgey, just like practice.
[Wings flapping]
Falkner: Ready…set… go!
(Final Battle! Blue! – Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen OST)
Faith: Go, Pidgey!
Daruka: Skarmory, go!
Faith: Pidgey, use Agility!
(Pidgey uses Agility to speed up.)
Daruka: Skarmory, Steel Wing!
(Skarmory's wings grow grey and slashed Pidgey.)
Carmine: Toucannon, use Helping Hand!
(Pidgey and Toucannon bonded with one another and used Peck on Skarmory.)
Pinky: What do I do now, Brain?
Brain: Try to get that Pidgey out of the race.
Pinky: Oh, all right. Noctowl, use Peck!
(Noctowl uses Peck on Faith's Pidgey.)
Faith: You're doing good, Pidgey. Try to focus on the task at hand, or in this case, your wings. [chuckles]
Brain: Noctowl, use Drill Peck!
(Noctowl's beck turns as sharp as a drill and it pecks at Pidgey, which made him fall into the Ocean Biome.)
Faith: Pidgey, I'm coming to save you!
(Faith rips out of her couch uniform and into a red lifeguard one-piece swim dress. She dives underwater and rescues Pidgey. The duo were underwater and eventually, Pidgey and Faith were flown away.)
Faith: We're gonna make it to the finish line, Pidgey! I just know we will!
(Skarmory screeches.)
Faith: We're gonna crash!
("Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
Faith and Daruka: Who's that Pokémon?!
(A silhouette shows a picture of a bird-like Pokémon.)
…
(The silhouette disappears, revealing it to be a Skarmory.)
Faith and Daruka: It's.. Skarmory!
Skarmory: SSKKAAAARRRR!
(End of "Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
(Pidgey and Faith were about to crash land on an ocean cliff.)
Brain: We're going to crash!
Pinky: Not on my life, we aren't! Charizard, fly us to the finish line!
Charizard: [Fly attack] Raawwwrr!
(Brain's Charizard flies to the cliff where the race was about to end. The scene transfers to the finishing line, where Pidgey won by a nose!)
Faith: We did it! We won the Sky Relay!
Falkner: Congratulations, Pidgey. You're the winner of the first annual Sky Relay!
Daruka: What?! No, that's not fair! I wanted to win, not her! No, no, no, this is truly unfair!
Falkner: And as for you, Miss Daruka, you got 5th place.
Daruka: I'll get you for this, Faith!
(Later, at the Forest Biome…)
Eevee: [congratulating Pidgey] Vee, vee.
Pidgey: [thanking Eevee] Pidg, Pidgey!
Woody: I can't believe Pidgey decided to join your team, Faith.
Faith: I can't believe it either.
Narrator: After an eventful race at the Sky Relay, our heroes were looking forward to all the events happening in 2024. Stay tuned for more adventures at Blueberry Academy, as the journey continues!
