"So we decided to accept the quest, Rosalina." Olly bowed.

"Oh? That's wonderful! But...you're the only one here."

"I know Fawful went back to the Beanbean Kingdom to catch up with Queen Bean and Prince Peasley. And I think Dimentio might be somewhere in the Mushroom Kingdom."

Rosalina nodded slowly. "I see...So do you plan on doing this alone?"

"Of course not! I know I'm strong, but I can't do everything on my own. Especially since Beast Olly's been acting up on me again, and Olive's starting to act a little strange too...I could use all the help I can get. Do you have time to come with me, Rosa?"

She sadly shook her head. "Sorry Olly, but I have to care for the Lumas. But I'm sure Fawful, Dimentio, Olivia, Olive, and you can handle the situation."

"I'm going to grab Olivia first. Pls, I could use the time to visit the Origami Craftsman again."

Olly poked his head into the hall. It was silent, the house creaking quietly as he made his way downstairs. Olly didn't need to take the steps, of course, but the house found it proper to settle as if he were. Olly opened the door at the bottom, the small flicker of the fire illuminating the walls. The Origami Craftsman sat, drinking hot chocolate and looking rather pleased with himself.

"Hello." Olly entered the room, the frigid fall air vanishing behind a wave of heat. "Have you seen Olivia? I thought she was with you."

"Hm? Oh! Olly! Nice to see you again. I know this probably isn't the best place to chat but, why don't you take a seat? I want to catch up with you, my son."

Olly sat in the other empty seat, it being nothing more than a cold, wooden stool. "How've you been? I know we haven't talked in a while and..."

"I remember last time, you were asking about your 'cursed' form. How has he been treating you?"

"Well, last time I transformed...I woke up with the taste of blood in my mouth. I wonder if he hunted something down. He is a wild hybrid beast and all, I guess I should have expected as much."

"Well, I can tell you're already getting familiar with him," he took a long sip of his drink. "Last time, you only called him a thing, an 'it' rather than a living being."

"True. I don't like it much though. And I worry sometimes...What if Olivia has a beast form as well? Her and I are twins, and if I have a certain magic, it's likely she does too."

"But she had something you didn't, remember? Shadow Queen wanted her blood so she could revive herself. She said yours wouldn't work, right?"

"True...But I still worry. The Beast is hard to control, and sometimes I worry I can't control it at all. I don't want Olivia going through the same thing."

He smiled, the warmth from it alone comforting Olly. "I appreciate your change, Olly. Just a year ago, you were willing to kill Olivia to get what you wanted, and now you're worried about her safety. You've grown a lot, Olly, in just a year."

"I think it helps that I have a Kingdom to run now. That kind of responsibility is hard, but it's rewarding, I think. Antasma and King Boo are a bit...much still. Even though they don't see the point in being villains anymore, they still have bad habits, and Dimentio does too; which makes me worry for them."

"Didn't you make Olivia her own Legion to protect her?"

Olly nodded. "Marker, a shapeshifter, Sharpener, the addition to Colored Pencils, Shredder, the quiet one, and Glue...who has a weird rivalry with Tape for some reason. They're a bit more...quirky? Than my Legion of Stationery, but I feel like that's what Olivia needs. She likes them, anyways."

"They sound fun. Where are you going that you need Olivia?"

"Remember how I said there's still villains and villainesses on the loose? We're going to stop them, and with my trusty crew, I think we can do it! I hope Olivia and Fawful get to help a bit more this time though. Do you know where Olivia is, by any chance?"

"Hm...Olly, I should probably tell you something."

"Oh? What's-"

"Olly!" Olivia's voice came, and Olly sprang from his seat.

"There you are! Want to join me on an adventure?"

"Yeah! Hopefully I won't get kidnapped this time!"

"Nevermind, I found her! We're going to head out, alright?"

The Origami Craftsman sighed gently and smiled. "Stay safe, you two. Don't get into too much trouble."

"We won't, thanks!" Olivia went off ahead.

Olly returned. "Did you say you wanted to tell me something?"

He opened his mouth, then shut it again. "It's nothing important, Olly. Go have fun with your sister."

"Alright, take care. Bye!"

Author Note: Okay, so my story Centuries had a certain vibe to it, so I'm going to try and replicate that here (I said try, I might fail) along with the same vibe as the Mario and Luigi RPG series (new game coming out when?! That series was my childhood!)

Olivia, Olive, Fawful, and a returning character from House of Memories (El, if you remember him) will have a bigger role in this story (and what I mean by that is that they'll show up more often than they have been I think it'll be easier to do when I'm not focusing on a specific character like in House of Memories, Centuries, and Plus Ultra!). I'm also hoping that the Origami Craftsman will have a better/more important role in this or upcoming stories. The Origami Craftsman has a secret and Olly's going to find out about it eventually!

Also, new villain alert! (draco07, I'm so sorry if I ruin Magic and Magica. It's been years since I've talked/thought about/did anything with them) I'm going to try SO HARD to write a good redemption arc for Magic and Magica, so give me a break if it's bad. (I'm not good at arcs like corruption and redemption.) I hope they turn out great like Mind Weaver or Minuetta (Mimi's mom, who shows up in a side story book that's still a WIP).

(Also, unimportant, but this face looks like Shi :})

So this story takes place BEFORE Curtain Call, so Peach shows up here a bit. She makes references to going to the theater, but doesn't leave until the story's over. (I'll have to not make references, nooo!)

I know I said that Centuries was the last one in this series (at least, I think I said that...), but Curtain Call's plot made me finally finish the series, so yay.

Stories left remaining: The Heartless Centaur, and another where the name is to be determined.

Also, important update!: The Rotating Circus and Ghost Hunter are now not fully canon to my timeline! They've been changed into side story plots, so they're not important to read anymore! (Mostly because I have no idea how to get from the Maze of Mirrors to the final boss in TRC lol) Also, since Journey of the Battle has been cancelled, I'll be writing a different story instead, with Grape as the main character instead of Dimentio. (There's no plot this time, just a bunch of random bonding stuff. Thanks draco07, for helping me with the plot!^^)

Also, draco07 pointed out some typos to me in Curtain Call, but I'm not going to fix them because I already finished the story. You can enjoy it in its unedited form, I suppose.
