I don't own Vampire Diaries.

Prologue

A girl witnesses the death of her father as her poor mother and siblings cried out.

"Mercy! Mercy, Monsieur!" Her mother cried out. Her mother held all her children as they were pushed to the side as they witness the horrible beatings of their father by royal guards.

'Why?! Papa did nothing wrong.'

They burned their furniture.

They raided their homes and destroyed their peaceful home.

"God save the King!" A leader of the royal guard shouted as they burn more furniture. "God save King Louis XV of France!"

Her father lay there dead. No doubt from the beating from the royal guards.

The little girl did not care as the royal guards were cheering and her mother was crying in agony. She walks slowly towards her beloved deceased father on the ground. The little girl cries as she places her head onto her father's chest whimpering with her sorrows.

They say there are five stages of grief. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Well, add one more.

Revenge.

She gritted her teeth and gripped her father's clothing. As she lifts her head from her father's chest. Her tear-stained cheeks and her eyes burned in rage she never felt before. She stares at the flames imprinting the trauma that will affect her life forever.

'I swear by almighty God in heaven! I will destroy the Monarchy! I will tear down their legacy. Destroy their happiness! Take away their power! Make them crumble in misery and death as they have done to our family! I will avenge you, papa! I will get justice! I Louise Christina De Châtillon do solemnly swear, Father!'

Years later…

"King Louis XV is dead! Long live the King!"

A crier shouted in the street of France.

Everyone kneeled and prayed for their beloved king's death. All except one person lurking in the shadows.

"Good." She pulled out a rolled scroll and unbroken the seal.

Her light blonde curly loose with a hat and French fashion dress for a walk. She walks as the bells rang when the sun rises over France.

"I do not care if the king is dead." She crumbled the seal when they denied another request to seek the audience of the old king. "I made a vow before God himself!"

Her fire is still burning for her vengeance is not satisfied despite that God had punished the King. But the Monarchy will break their promises.

They will indulge themselves with riches, luxury, warm food and play without a care in the world.

This woman glared that the far distinct. No doubt she knew Versailles was there.

She has no trust in the monarchy.

They claimed that they were anointed by God to place a crown on their heads. But they turned themselves to sin and pleasure than to face the responsibility of his people.

'Papa, I will not fail you.' She is no longer that scared and powerless little girl. She removed her hat as the wind blows hard that makes her hair dance with the wind.

Louise Christina De Châtillon is now a grown woman at the age of nineteen.

She will get her family home back.

However, she needs power.

Even if it means she will have to make a deal with the devil himself.

She finally found one person who could help her.

Or rather his whole family is there.

To go to Versailles.

She must meet them there.

To give what she wanted.

By becoming a demon as well.
