Cleaving Through the Ice!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is the first appearance of Chien-Pao and the debut of Twist Mountain.)
Narrator: Woody's goal is to collect all the Gym Badges in Paldea in order to qualify in the Paldea League and beat Geeta, the Champion of Paldea. Geoff's goal is to complete the Pokédex and catch every kind of Pokémon, including Mew. These are the stories and adventures of these two Trainers in the world of Pokémon.
(Woody's Rotom Phone takes a picture of Woody and his friends; the picture shows their Pokémon, including Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Appletun, Koraidon, Armarouge, and Skeledirge, alongside Faith and her Meowscarada, Lechonk (Male), Pawmo, Ceruledge, Shelgon, Sniwy, Pidove, Eevee, and Gorebyss. Drew and his Croconaw, Oinkologne (Male), Staravia, Holloweed, Yungoos, and Thwackey pose next to Faith and Sharon. Lexie appears with her Blaziken and Manaphy.)
(The scene changes to show the area of Twist Mountain, where Woody, Mordecai, Rigby, Benson, Faith, Lexie, Sharon, Drew, and Uncle Glen were in their winter outfits. Faith wore a purple snow dress with dark blue snow gloves, blue snow boots with fur on her feet and pink leggings and Uncle Glen and Sharon both wore matching parkas and gloves with stocking caps on their heads. Mordecai, on the other hand, wore the same snow outfit when he and his friends traveled to the frozen tundra of Froshoth, a tundra with the symbol of Frosmoth and Rigby wore the same outfits used in the Crown Tundra, except without the hood.)
Faith: The next Pokémon we need for the final battle is one of the four members of the Quartet Group, Chien-Pao.
Benson: Who's that?
Faith: Here, let me show you. [types in Chien-Pao's name on the search bar of her Pokedex app] Here it is!
[Faith's Rotom Phone chimes]
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Chien-Pao, the Ruinous Pokémon. A Dark and Ice type. Chien-Pao has the power to create 100 tons of freshly fallen snow. It plays through the snow without a care, leaping in and out of the avalanches it causes."
Benson: The only plae we can find Chien-Pao is at the top of Twist Mountain, where it snows in the spring.
Faith: In the middle of April?
Benson: Indeed, Faith.
(The plane approaches Twist Mountain, where everybody got their things ready to find Chien-Pao.)
Mordecai: This'll be my chance to yodel at the top of Twist Mountain. [inhales deeply, then tries to yodel] Yodel ay he-hoooo!
(Benson slaps Mordecai on the face.)
Benson: Mordecai, you can't yodel at the top of your lungs.
Mordecai: Why not?
Faith: I've heard from TV that loud noises, such as yodeling, can cause avalanches – ones that put people's lives in danger.
Mordecai: Oh, I see.
(Song: "The Challenge of Life")
"Rise if you're prepared for the challenge
(Rise to the challenge)
Rise if you're a champion at heart
(Rise to the challenge)
Take my hand, we'll train as one
And triumph together
(Rise to the challenge)
Nothing's gonna stand in our way
Stronger and stronger we'll
Rise to the challenge of
Life
Pokémon!"
(End of "The Challenge of Life")

Then, Dot, her Jigglypuff, and her Tinkatink appear. Drew appears with his Yungoos, Thwackey, and Croconaw, and Hazel appears with her Kingler, Blastoise, and Lugia.)
Faith: [reading the title] "Cleaving Through the Ice!"
(The scene changes to the snow-covered landscape of Twist Mountain.)
Benson: Moose, what's that you're wearing?
Moose: Lederhosen, of course, the perfect attire for yodeling.
Benson: We're not yodeling, Moose. We're going to find Chien-Pao.
Faith: It's too late to change, Moose. You gotta work with what you got.
Moose: Aw, man!
Mordecai: Let's roll.
(Mordecai and Faith get in a snowmobile.)
Faith: Mordecai, I didn't know you could drive a snowmobile.
Mordecai: I forgot to tell you this earlier. I got my own snowmobile license.
Faith: Look, there's the Crystal Pool!
(The Crystal Pool can be seen from Faith's point of view.)
Mordecai: Uh oh, I don't think the snowmobile can go through water.
Faith: Benson, ditch the snowmobiles! We gotta make it to Chien-Pao on foot!
(Everybody ditches the snowmobiles as soon as the ice cracked, and the snowmobiles fell to the bottom of the lake.)
Faith: Did you think the explosion caused any Pokémon to go berserk, Mordecai?
Mordecai: I think that Tyranitar-like creature did see the explosion.
(A wild Baxcalibur was awaken from a nap, causing it to go berserk.)
Faith: It's an Alpha Baxcalibur!
Woody: Baxcalibur? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Woody's Rotom Phone chimes]
Woody's Rotom Phone: "Baxcalibur, the Ice Dragon Pokémon. A Dragon and Ice type, and the final evolved form of Frigibax. Baxcalibur releases a blast of extremely cold air from its mouth, which can cause even the hottest of lava to freeze. It attacks opponents with the fin-like blade on its tail."
Baxcalibur: [roaring like Godzilla]
Sharon: Faith, no! That's a very dangerous Pokémon.
Faith: I love you, Baxcalibur.
Baxcalibur: [Ice Beam attack] Baxxxxx!
Mordecai: Leave my girlfriend alone, Godzilla!
Faith: Mordecai, help me!
(Baxcalibur was immediately thwarted by Mordecai who sent the Ice Dragon Pokémon to the Crystal Pool. Eventually, Baxcalibur grabbed Mordecai by his parka hood.)
Mordecai: Moose, only the power of your yodel can help stop Baxcalibur!
Moose: Right-o, Mordecai. [clears throat, then yodels at loud volume]
(An avalanche of snow causes Baxcalibur's tail to get stuck.)
Baxcalibur: Baxcalib?
Mordecai: See you later, Feraligatr!
Faith: Actually, he's a Baxcalibur.
Mordecai: Don't ask, don't care.
(Meanwhile, Pinky and the Brain were inside Faith's coat pocket, shivering. Pinky wore a blue parka with black mittens and pants while Brain wore earmuffs with a blue scarf, a hoodless fur-covered parka, and pants with snow shoes.)
Pinky: Egad, Brain. I don't know how long I can stand to be a mouse-sicle. I'm so cold.
Brain: I know you're cold, Pinky, but we have to get Chien-Pao before anyone else does.
Pinky: But, Brain, I'm so cold. So cold.
Brain: Lucky for you, I ordered this electric heating blanket and I programmed it to be wireless.
(Brain turns on the electric blanket for Pinky and offers him a large cup of hot chocolate.)
Brain: Want some cocoa, Pinky?
Pinky: Gee, thanks.
Brain: According to Professor Sada, Twist Mountain is home to Regigigas, a Pokémon forming the trio of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.
Pinky: Which is where Geoff Quintel will be heading to.
Brain: Once we get Regigigas, we'll command it to rule the world!
Pinky: Egad, brilliant, Brain. Oh, wait, no. We can't capture Regigigas unless we have Poké Balls.
Brain: Lucky for us, I got a bunch of Master Balls on my hand.
(Meanwhile…)
Geoff: Have you guys noticed that this mountain is home to Regigigas?
Faith: Regi-who?
Geoff: Regigigas.
Faith: Geoff, I have no idea what you're talking about.
(Geoff takes out his Rotom Phone and pulls up a picture of Regigigas.)
Geoff: Rotom, tell me about Regigigas.
[Geoff's Rotom Phone chimes]
Geoff's Rotom Phone: "Regigigas, the Colossal Pokémon. A Normal type. Regigigas used rope to help pull continents together with its strength and created many Pokémon from the materials it found throughout the world. According to legend, it created three different Pokémon known as Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, bringing them to life."
Faith: Wow, so that's a Regigigas.
Geoff: Sure is, and I'm gonna capture it.
(The friends stop at an icy cave.)
Lexie: This must be an icy cave. Who knew what lurks in here?
(A set of ice-covered drums was shown.)
Faith: Are these prehistoric ice drums?
(Rigby taps the ice.)
Rigby: Looks like it.
Mordecai: Allow me to play something. [cracks knuckles, then takes out a pair of drum mallets]
[Drums playing]
Faith: You're pretty good at this, Mordecai.
Mordecai: Why, thank you, Faith.
[Trumpeting]
Arven: What was that?
(A Mamoswine approached the group.)
Sharon: It's a Mamoswine!
(Arven's Mabosstiff shivered in fear as Mamoswine got close.)
Mordecai: Don't look now, but I think that Mamoswine was angry from the drums I made music on.
(Battle! Wild Pokémon! – Pokémon Sword and Shield OST)
Arven: Mamoswine? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Arven's Rotom Phone chimes]
Arven's Rotom Phone: "Mamoswine, the Twin Tusk Pokémon. An Ice and Ground type. Mamoswine has a strong body, which helps it survive in snow. When the weather gets cold, its ice-like tusks can grow strong, impressive, and sharp."
Arven: I'll show that Mamoswine who's boss of this tundra. {sends out Weavile}: Weavile, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opesn up]
Weavile: Weavile!
Glen: What's that?
Faith: That's a Weavile, which is the enemy of Mamoswine.
Glen: I've never seen one up close before.
Faith: Take a look! [pulls out her Rotom Phone]
[Faith's Rotom Phone chimes]
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Weavile, the Sharp Claw Pokémon. A Dark and Ice type. Weavile attack their prey in teams and can knock down even a single Mamoswine with their teamwork. They communicate with one another by leaving claw-shaped marks on trees and rocks."
Arven: Weavile, use Ice Beam!
Weavile: [Ice Beam attack] Vile!
Mabosstiff: Mabosstiff! cheers loudly, tail wagging
[Weavile launches into action, using its Ice Punch to strike at the Mamoswine's thick hide, followed by a quick Night Slash to exploit any weaknesses.]
Arven: Keep it up, Weavile! You're doing great!
[Weavile, fueled by determination, unleashes its Ice Beam, sending a freezing blast towards the Mamoswine, causing it to stagger back.]
Arven: Yes! That's it, Weavile!
Mabosstiff: Mabosstiff! barks proudly
[Weavile and Arven share a triumphant moment as they emerge victorious from the battle.]
[Scene: After the battle, Mordecai approaches Arven, a congratulatory smile on his face.]
Mordecai: Hey, Arven! That was quite the battle back there.
Arven: Thanks, Mordecai! Yeah, Weavile really pulled through. It was a tough one, but we managed to come out on top.
Mordecai: You and your Pokémon make a great team. That coordination between Weavile and your Mabosstiff was impressive to watch.
Arven: Thanks, Mordecai. I've been training them hard, and it's moments like these that make it all worth it.
Mordecai: Definitely. Your dedication shows, and it pays off in battles like this one. Keep up the great work, Arven.
Arven: Will do, Mordecai. Thanks for the encouragement. We'll be ready for whatever challenges come our way.
Benson: Let's get a move-on, you two.
Mordecai: Sorry, Benson.
[Scene: Twist Mountain, a rugged and treacherous peak in the Sinnoh region. Mordecai, Faith, Moose, Arven, and their Pokémon companions press on through the biting cold and whipping winds, determined to reach the summit.]
Mordecai: Alright, everyone, we're almost there. Chien-Pao should be waiting for us at the summit.
Faith: I hope he's alright up there. It's not an easy climb.
Moose: Yeah, but we've faced tougher challenges before. We'll make it.
[As they ascend, the air grows thinner, and the path becomes increasingly perilous. But their resolve pushes them forward, each step bringing them closer to their destination.]
Arven: Look! Up ahead! Is that...?
[At the summit of Twist Mountain, a figure stands silhouetted against the stark landscape. It's Chien-Pao, but something seems off. Before they can reach him, a shadow falls over them, and a powerful presence makes itself known.]
Mordecai: What's that?!
[From the shadows emerges a towering Deltanian Scizor, its metallic exoskeleton gleaming in the harsh light.]
Faith: That's no ordinary Pokémon! It's a Deltanian Scizor!
Arven: What kind of Scizor? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Arven's Rotom Phone chimes]
Arven's Rotom Phone: "Scizor, Deltanian Form. The Ice Claw Pokémon. An Ice and Fighting type. Scizor's body is covered by ice-like armor, which reforms once every year. It uses its icy claws to fight back, which are said to be cold to the touch."
Deltanian Scizor: swiftly strikes with Low Sweep
Mordecai: Watch out, Garchomp!
[Garchomp is caught off guard as the Deltanian Scizor's Low Sweep connects, knocking it off balance and sending it tumbling to the ground.]
Mordecai: Garchomp, are you okay?!
[Garchomp struggles to regain its footing, shaking off the effects of the powerful attack.]
Mordecai: Don't let it catch you off guard again! Use Dragon Claw!
[Garchomp roars defiantly, summoning its strength to retaliate. With a fierce swipe of its claws, it unleashes a powerful Dragon Claw attack against the Deltanian Scizor.]
Mordecai: Now, follow up with Dragon Rush!
[Garchomp charges forward with incredible speed, its body surrounded by a swirling vortex of draconic energy. With a thunderous impact, it crashes into the Deltanian Scizor, sending it reeling back with a resounding crash.]
Mordecai: We did it, Garchomp! Great job!
Geoff: Go, Poké Ball!
(Geoff successfully captured the wild Deltanian Scizor.)
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Deltanian Scizor has been registered to your Pokédex!
Geoff: We did it!
[Scene: A desolate stretch of the mountain range, where Mordecai and Moose find themselves facing an icy bridge shrouded in mist. A warning sign nearby catches their attention, its message clear: "Warning: Do not make loud noises on the bridge."]
Mordecai: Looks like we've reached the bridge, Moose. But what's with the warning sign?
Moose: Beats me, Mordecai. But it's best we heed it. Who knows what could happen if we ignore it?
[They cautiously approach the bridge, the cold air biting at their skin as they tread carefully across the icy expanse. The mist swirls around them, adding an eerie atmosphere to the already tense situation.]
Mordecai: Stay quiet, Moose. We don't want to take any chances.
Moose: Got it, Mordecai. Not a peep from me.
[As they inch their way across the bridge, the sound of their footsteps muffled by the thick layer of ice, they can't shake the feeling of unease that settles over them. The warning sign looms ominously in their minds, a constant reminder of the danger that lurks in the silence.]
Mordecai: Keep your eyes peeled, Moose. We don't know what we might encounter on the other side.
Moose: Don't worry, Mordecai. I've got your back.
[They finally reach the other side of the bridge, their relief palpable as they step onto solid ground once more. But just as they start to relax, a faint rumbling sound echoes through the air, growing louder with each passing moment.]
Mordecai: What's that noise?
Moose: I don't know, but it sounds like it's coming from the bridge!
[They turn back to see the icy expanse trembling, cracks forming along its surface as it threatens to collapse under the weight of the sound.]
Mordecai: It's the bridge! The warning was to keep it from collapsing!
Moose: We need to get out of here, now!
(Moose and Mordecai start running away from the avalanche.)
Pinky: Narf! Brain, what's happening?!
Brain: It's an avalanche, Pinky! We need to get out of here, and quickly!
[They scramble to their feet, their hearts pounding with fear as they race down the slope, dodging chunks of snow and ice tumbling towards them.]
Pinky: Oh, no, Brain! We're going to be squished like a pancake!
Brain: Not if I can help it, Pinky. Follow me!
[Brain leads the way, his quick thinking and resourcefulness guiding them through the chaos of the avalanche. With each step, they draw closer to safety, the rush of adrenaline fuelling their desperate flight.]
Pinky: Hurry, Brain! I don't want to become an ice sculpture!
Brain: Keep moving, Pinky! We're almost there!
[Just as it seems they might be overtaken by the relentless tide of snow, they spot a narrow crevice in the mountainside, a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos.]
Pinky: Look, Brain! A cave!
Brain: Quickly, Pinky! Into the cave!
[They dive into the safety of the cave just as the avalanche crashes down around them, the deafening roar fading into silence as they catch their breath.]
Pinky: Phew! That was a close one, Brain!
Brain: Indeed, Pinky. But thanks to my superior intellect and quick reflexes, we narrowly avoided disaster once again.
Faith: It's no use. We're stuck in this ice cave until the snowstorm passes.
Sharon: Aaaannndd there's no way of getting out of here without us getting any warmth.
Faith: [removes both of her gloves, revealing her icy blue hands] Yeah! My hands are so cold, they turned blue.
Brain: Perhaps we can find something to keep us warm.
Pinky: Like my phone's flashlight, Brain?
Brain: No, something warm like a campfire.
(Pinky and Brain were hugging onto their frozen bodies, their clothes were no use of keeping them warm, until Brain sees a bunch of wood.)
Brain: Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so, Brain, but what if the fire doesn't make us warm?
Brain: No, Pinky. I found some wood, which we can use to make a campfire.
Pinky: Oh, goody! You get the marshmallows and I'll get the graham crackers and chocolate bars.
Pinky: Alright, everyone, gather round! I'm going to light a fire to keep us warm.
[With determination in his eyes, Pinky takes out a match and strikes it against the side of the matchbox. After a few attempts, a small flame ignites, casting a warm glow in the dim cave.]
Pinky: There we go! Fire!
[The others huddle closer to the fire, grateful for its warmth as it begins to chase away the chill of the icy cavern.]
Faith: Thank you, Pinky! I was beginning to think we'd freeze to death in here.
Arven: Yeah, this fire is a lifesaver. I don't know how much longer I could have lasted in this cold.
Benson: Agreed. Let's hope it lasts long enough for us to figure out how to get out of this cave.
Rigby: Yeah, and maybe we can find some food too. I'm starving!
Uncle Glen: Ah, warmth at last! Pinky, you've truly saved the day.
Sharon: Thank you, Pinky. I don't know what we would have done without you.
Pinky: Oh, it was nothing, really! Just doing my part to keep everyone warm and cozy.
Mordecai: Now all we need is some food. I'm starving!
(Mordecai spots the Crystal Pool and inside the pool were Feebas. He takes out a swim mas (which he puts under his eyes and nose), a pair of yellow swim fins, and a lime green and dark green-colored one-piece Victorian swimsuit, which he then straps on after removing his snow gear.)
Mordecai: Now's my chance to catch something to eat. [inhales deeply, then dives down]
[Scene: Underwater in the Crystal Pool, Mordecai glides gracefully through the water, surrounded by the serene beauty of the aquatic Pokémon. His flippers propel him forward as he explores the depths, marveling at the colorful fish Pokémon that dart around him.]
Mordecai: This is amazing! I could stay down here forever!
[Suddenly, a shadow looms overhead, casting a dark presence over Mordecai. He looks up to see the imposing figure of an Alpha Milotic, its majestic form cutting through the water with elegant grace.]
Mordecai: That's one big Pokémon! [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Mordecai's Rotom Phone chimes]
[Mordecai's Rotom Phone: "Milotic, the Tender Pokémon. A Water type. Milotic lives at the bottom of lakes. When its body glows in a brightly-colored pink, it releases a blast of energy that can brings fights to an end."
(Battle! Alpha Pokémon! – Pokémon Legends Arceus OST)
Mordecai: Floatzel, we need your help! There's an Alpha Milotic down there, and it's not backing down!
[Floatzel emerges from its Poké Ball, ready for battle. It surveys the situation, its instincts kicking in as it prepares to confront the formidable opponent before them.]
Floatzel: Floatzel!
Mordecai: Alright, Floatzel, we need to take down that Alpha Milotic before it causes any more trouble. Let's show it what we're made of!
[With a determined nod, Floatzel dives into the water, its sleek form slicing through the water with impressive speed. It locks eyes with the Alpha Milotic, a silent challenge passing between them.]
Mordecai: Use Aqua Jet, Floatzel! Let's catch it off guard!
[Floatzel nods in understanding and propels itself forward with incredible velocity, a powerful stream of water trailing behind it. With pinpoint accuracy, it aims the Aqua Jet attack directly at the Alpha Milotic, hoping to catch it off guard.]
[The attack connects with the Alpha Milotic, causing it to recoil in surprise and pain. Mordecai watches anxiously as Floatzel follows up with a flurry of Water Gun attacks, each one aimed with precision at the Alpha Milotic's vulnerable spots.]
Mordecai: Keep it up, Floatzel! Don't give it a chance to counterattack!
[Floatzel nods, its determination unwavering as it continues to unleash its water-based assaults on the Alpha Milotic. Despite the Alpha Milotic's size and strength, Floatzel fights with all its might, refusing to back down in the face of adversity.]
[With each attack, the Alpha Milotic weakens, its movements growing sluggish as it struggles to keep up with Floatzel's relentless onslaught. Finally, with one last powerful Hydro Pump, Floatzel delivers the finishing blow, sending the Alpha Milotic reeling backwards in defeat.]
Mordecai: Yes! We did it, Floatzel! Great job!
Floatzel: Float!
(With success, Mordecai was able to reel up a bunch of fish for his friends to eat.)
Mordecai: Lunchtime, everyone!
(Everybody ate their food and had full stomachs by the time they were finished.)
Benson: Let's get a move-on, people.
[Scene: The group, consisting of Mordecai, Benson, Arven, Woody (the Woodpecker), Woody's Pikachu, Sharon, Faith, and Uncle Glen the Draconeon, are traversing the treacherous slopes of the mountain when suddenly, an avalanche strikes, engulfing them in a torrent of snow and ice.]
Mordecai: Everyone, hold on tight! We're in an avalanche!
Benson: Oh no! Hang on, everyone!
Arven: Brace yourselves!
Woody: Guys, hold onto me! I'll try to shield us from the worst of it!
Pikachu: Pika-Pika!
Sharon: Hold on, Faith!
Faith: grits her teeth Damn it, Moose, you've doomed us all!
Moose: Recola!
[The group clings to each other as they are swept away by the powerful force of the avalanche, tumbling down the mountainside in a chaotic whirl of snow and debris.]
Mordecai: Hang in there, everyone! We'll make it through this!
[They hold on for dear life as the avalanche rages on, their only hope for survival lying in their determination and resilience.]
[After what feels like an eternity, the avalanche finally begins to subside, leaving the group battered and bruised but miraculously alive.]
Benson: Is everyone okay?
Arven: I think so... but that was too close for comfort.
Woody: letting out a relieved chirp We made it!
Pikachu: Pikachu... shakes off snow
Sharon: We made it... somehow.
Faith: Yeah, thanks to Mordecai's quick thinking. But Moose, next time, maybe try a quieter warning, huh?
Moose: sheepishly Sorry about that. But at least we're all in one piece!
Uncle Glen: Indeed. Let's count our blessings and continue on our journey, shall we?
[Scene: The group has managed to find safety on a relatively stable patch of ground after surviving the avalanche. Moose, still wearing his lederhosen, shivers uncontrollably as the cold mountain air bites at his exposed legs.]
Moose: B-b-brrr! I think I'm c-c-cold!
Woody: Hey, Moose, looks like you could use some extra warmth. How about borrowing a pair of pants?
Moose: Oh, thanks, Woody! I'd really appreciate that!
[Woody rummages through his backpack and pulls out a pair of pants, offering them to Moose.]
Woody: Here you go, Moose. These should help keep you warm.
[Moose gratefully accepts the pants and quickly puts them on, sighing in relief as the fabric provides much-needed protection from the biting cold.]
Moose: Ah, that's much better! Thanks a bunch, Woody!
Woody: No problem, Moose. We've got to look out for each other, especially in situations like these.
[With Moose now properly clothed and feeling warmer, the group prepares to continue their journey through the mountain, grateful for the support and camaraderie they share.]
Moose: [shivering] W-Why am I still cold?
Faith: Maybe it's because you're in a short-sleeved shirt.
Moose: B-b-brrr... I-I'm still c-c-cold...
Sharon: Moose, you need something warmer to wear. Here, take this fur-covered coat. It should keep you cozy.
[Moose's eyes light up as he gratefully accepts the coat from Sharon, pulling it around himself with a grateful smile.]
Moose: Oh, thank you, Sharon! This is so much better!
Sharon: You're welcome, Moose. We need to make sure everyone stays warm and comfortable out here.
[With the fur-covered coat providing much-needed insulation against the cold, Moose settles in more comfortably, the warmth seeping into his bones as he takes a moment to relax and recuperate.]
Moose: Ahh... this is much more like it. Thanks again, Sharon.
Sharon: Anytime, Moose. Now let's rest up and gather our strength. We've got a long journey ahead of us.
Woody: Guys, I think I found a temple!
(Woody and Faith enter the temple while the others remained on their search for Chien-Pao.)
Faith: Whoa... what is this place?
[Intrigued by the sight before her, Faith cautiously approaches the entrance of the temple, her curiosity piqued by the possibility of what secrets may lie within.]
Faith: I've got to check this out.
[With cautious steps, Faith enters the temple, the air thick with a sense of anticipation as she ventures deeper into its depths. Suddenly, she comes upon a chamber adorned with ancient carvings and symbols, its centerpiece a towering statue of the legendary Pokémon, Regigigas.]
Faith: Regigigas... I can't believe it's real.
[As Faith marvels at the sight before her, the ground begins to tremble, and with a thunderous crash, Regigigas awakens from its slumber, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light.]
Regigigas: bellows deeply
Faith: Uh-oh... I think I've awakened something I shouldn't have.
Faith: Woody, this is it. We've got to give it our all to capture Regigigas!
Woody: Right! We've trained for this moment. Let's show them what we're made of, Skeledirge!
[Skeledirge, Woody's trusty partner, emerges from its Poké Ball, ready for battle. The ghostly Pokémon radiates determination as it faces off against the towering Regigigas.]
Regigigas: bellows deeply
Faith: Alright, Skeledirge, let's start with Shadow Claw! Show Regigigas what we're capable of!
[Skeledirge obeys, its claws enveloped in dark energy as it slashes at Regigigas with incredible speed and precision. Regigigas roars in response, its massive form shaking the ground with each step.]
Woody: Keep it up, Skeledirge! Now, use Shadow Ball!
[Skeledirge conjures a swirling orb of dark energy and hurls it towards Regigigas, the attack striking the legendary Pokémon with intense force. Regigigas staggers under the impact, but its determination remains unyielding.]
Faith: We're not done yet! Skeledirge, use Shadow Punch!
[Skeledirge charges forward, its fist surrounded by ghostly energy as it delivers a powerful blow to Regigigas. The legendary Pokémon roars in defiance, but the onslaught from Skeledirge shows no signs of slowing.]
Woody: Let's finish this, Skeledirge! Use Night Shade!
[Skeledirge unleashes its most powerful attack yet, enveloping Regigigas in a shadowy aura that saps away its strength. With a final roar, Regigigas weakens and is brought to its knees, unable to withstand the relentless assault from Skeledirge.]
Faith: Now's our chance, Woody! Let's capture Regigigas!
[With a determined nod, Woody reaches for a Poké Ball and tosses it towards the weakened Regigigas. The Poké Ball opens mid-air, enveloping the legendary Pokémon in a beam of light. With a resounding click, Regigigas is captured within the Poké Ball, its power now under Woody's command.]
Faith: We did it, Woody! We captured Regigigas!
Woody: Yeah! Great job, Skeledirge! We make an unstoppable team!
(Geoff then captures Regigigas.)
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Regigigas has been registered to your Pokédex!
(Woody enters the summit of Twist Mountain, where he finds Chien-Pao.)
Woody: Whoa, it's Chien-Pao! This is gonna be one tough battle.
[Woody braces himself as Chien-Pao charges forward, its dark and icy powers swirling around it as it prepares to unleash its formidable abilities. Woody calls upon his Skeledirge, a ghost-type Pokémon, to meet Chien-Pao's assault with equal strength.]
Woody: Skeledirge, let's do this! Shadow Claw!
[Skeledirge leaps into action, its ghostly claws slashing at Chien-Pao with dark energy. Chien-Pao retaliates with a barrage of Dark and Ice-type moves, its attacks striking with chilling precision.]
[As the battle intensifies, Woody realizes he'll need additional help to overcome Chien-Pao's icy defenses. He calls upon his Pikachu and Clodsire, two trusted companions, to join the fray and lend their strength to the fight.]
Woody: Pikachu, Clodsire, we need your help! Let's take down Chien-Pao together!
[Pikachu and Clodsire nod in determination, ready to assist their friend in battle. Together, the trio launches a coordinated assault, combining their attacks to overwhelm Chien-Pao and weaken its defenses.]
[The battle rages on, each side refusing to back down as they exchange blow after blow in a test of strength and resilience. But with teamwork and determination, Woody and his Pokémon companions begin to gain the upper hand, wearing down Chien-Pao's icy armor with each successive attack.]
[Finally, after a fierce and grueling battle, Chien-Pao begins to weaken, its movements growing sluggish as fatigue sets in. Seizing the opportunity, Woody throws a Poké Ball towards Chien-Pao, hoping to capture the powerful Pokémon and add it to his team.]
[The Poké Ball opens mid-air, enveloping Chien-Pao in a beam of light. With a resounding click, Chien-Pao is captured within the Poké Ball, its icy powers now under Woody's command.]
Woody: We did it, guys! Great job, Pikachu, Clodsire, and Skeledirge!
Weavile: [cheering] Weavile!
