Sisters in Arms!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: Faith and Daruka getting along is a reference to how me and Drew get along as siblings but we fight sometimes.)
Location: Team Rocket Hideout, Nimbasa City
[Daruka sits alone in the dimly lit hideout, her expression reflecting boredom. She takes out her phone and starts scrolling through old photos.]
Daruka: [muttering to herself] Might as well kill some time.
[She pauses as she comes across a particular photo and her expression softens.]
Daruka: [smiling wistfully] Ah, there it is.
[The photo shows Daruka and a young girl, Faith, standing together with smiles on their faces. They look around six years old, captured in a moment of pure innocence.]
Daruka: Faith...
[Lost in reverie, she recalls memories of their childhood adventures together—playing with Pokémon, exploring the world around them, and dreaming big dreams.]
Daruka: [thinking aloud] Remember when we used to imagine ourselves as the greatest Pokémon trainers?
[She sighs, realizing how their paths have diverged since those carefree days. Suddenly, footsteps approach, and Daruka hurriedly pockets her phone.]
[Other Team Rocket members enter the hideout, oblivious to Daruka's nostalgic reflections.]
Grunt 1: Hey Daruka, what are you up to?
Daruka: Just... passing the time.

Faith: [reading the title] "Sisters in Arms!"
[In the depths of the Team Rocket hideout, Daruka sits in her private chamber, her gaze fixed on her loyal Gengar.]
Daruka: [muttering to herself] There has to be a way... A way to seize control, to dominate the Pokémon world.
[Gengar's eyes gleam with an eerie glow as it watches Daruka, sensing her ambition and frustration.]
Daruka: But how? How do I make them all bow before me?
[As Daruka continues to ponder, Gengar's shadowy form inches closer, its voice barely audible as it whispers to its trainer.]
Gengar: Daruka...
Daruka: [startled, looks up] What is it, Gengar?
Gengar: There's another path you could take... one that may lead to even greater power.
Daruka: [intrigued] What do you mean?
Gengar: Instead of trying to conquer the world outright, why not mend the bonds that were broken? Why not reconcile with Faith and become her sister once more?
Daruka: [pauses, considering Gengar's words] And why would I do that?
Gengar: Because while you focus on rebuilding your relationship with Faith, you'll have time to devise a plan... a plan to achieve your ultimate goal of domination.
[Daruka's eyes narrow as she contemplates Gengar's proposal, a devious smile curling onto her lips.]
Daruka: Very well, Gengar. You may be onto something. Perhaps it's time to play the role of the loving sister once again... until the moment is right to strike.
[With newfound determination, Daruka rises from her seat, her mind already swirling with schemes and strategies. And as she looks at her Gengar, she knows that together, they will stop at nothing to claim victory and reshape the Pokémon world in their image.]
[In the bustling corridors of Blueberry Academy in the heart of Castelia City, Faith walks hand in hand with her boyfriend, Mordecai. Laughter and chatter fill the air as students rush between classes. Suddenly, Faith's Rotom Phone buzzes, signaling an incoming call.]
Faith: Oh, sorry, Mordecai. I need to take this call real quick.
Mordecai: No problem, take your time.
[Faith steps aside and answers the call, her brows furrowing slightly when she sees Daruka's name flashing on the screen.]
Faith: Daruka? What's up?
Daruka: [voice slightly strained] Faith, it's me. Can we talk?
Faith: Sure, but... what's going on? You sound a bit off.
Daruka: It's nothing, really. I just... I miss you, Faith. Can we meet up? Just for a little while?
[Faith glances back at Mordecai, who gives her a reassuring smile, before turning her attention back to Daruka's voice on the phone.]
Faith: Um, alright. Where do you want to meet?
Daruka: How about that spot behind the academy building? You know, by the fountain?
Faith: Yeah, I know it. I'll be there in fifteen minutes.
Daruka: Thanks, Faith. I'll see you soon.
Mordecai: Who was that, Faith?
Faith: Oh, it was just my sister, Daruka. She wanted to talk.
Mordecai: Your sister? Is everything alright?
Faith: I'm not sure, to be honest. She sounded a bit... off. But she wants to meet up, so I'll go see what she needs.
Mordecai: Do you want me to come with you?
Faith: No, it's okay. I think it's something she wants to discuss with me alone. But I'll let you know if anything comes up.
Mordecai: Alright, just be careful, okay?
Faith: I will. Thanks, Mordecai.
(The scene changes to Black City.)
Faith: Here we are, Black City.
(Black City - Pokémon Black and White OST)
Faith: Daruka, it's good to see you.
Daruka: Faith, I'm glad you could make it.
[Despite the tension that often lingers between them, there's a hint of warmth in Daruka's voice as she embraces her sister.]
Faith: So, what did you want to talk about?
Daruka: [pausing, her gaze drifting towards the skyline] I've been doing some thinking, Faith. About us, about our family.
Faith: [curious] What about our family?
Daruka: I miss the way things used to be, before everything fell apart. And I want to make things right between us.
[Faith's expression softens, her guard momentarily lowering in the face of Daruka's vulnerability.]
Faith: I miss it too, Daruka. But it's not that simple.
Daruka: I know, Faith. But I want to try. I want us to be sisters again.
[Faith hesitates, her heart torn between the memories of their shared past and the pain of their fractured relationship.]
Faith: I want that too, Daruka. But... where do we go from here?
Daruka: [smirking] That, my dear sister, is something I've been thinking about quite a lot lately.
[As Faith and Daruka step into Black City's stone shop, they are greeted by shelves lined with an array of colorful stones, each shimmering with its own unique energy.]
Faith: Wow, look at all these stones!
Daruka: It's like a treasure trove of elemental power.
[Daruka's eyes sparkle with fascination as she scans the shelves, her fingers trailing over the smooth surfaces of the stones.]
Faith: What are you looking for, Daruka?
Daruka: I'm not sure yet. But there's something about these stones... they hold so much potential.
[As they explore the shop, Faith and Daruka marvel at the variety of stones on display. From Water Stones to Ice Stones, each one seems to pulse with a silent promise of transformation.]
Faith: I've always been drawn to Fire Stones. There's something so captivating about their fiery energy.
Daruka: And I've always been fascinated by Thunder Stones. The power of electricity coursing through them is electrifying.
[As Faith and Daruka stroll through the bustling flea market in Black City, they are surrounded by a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds. Booths adorned with colorful fabrics and shimmering trinkets beckon to them, promising hidden treasures waiting to be discovered.]
Faith: Isn't this place amazing, Daruka? There's so much to see!
Daruka: It's incredible, Faith. I feel like a kid in a candy store.
[As they weave through the crowds, their eyes alight with excitement, Faith spots a stall overflowing with an assortment of dresses in every shade imaginable.]
Faith: Daruka, look over there! They have some gorgeous dresses.
Daruka: [eyes widening] Wow, they're stunning. But are you sure I should be trying on dresses?
Faith: Why not? It could be fun to try something new. And besides, a new dress might just be the thing to lift your spirits.
[Daruka hesitates for a moment before nodding, a hint of excitement dancing in her eyes.]
Daruka: Alright, let's give it a try.
[As they approach the stall, the vendor greets them with a warm smile, eager to showcase their collection of dresses.]
Vendor: Welcome, ladies! Feel free to browse our selection. I'm sure you'll find something you love.
[Faith and Daruka eagerly begin to sift through the dresses, marveling at the intricate designs and luxurious fabrics.]
Faith: This one would look stunning on you, Daruka.
Daruka: [holding up a dress] You think so? It's beautiful.
[With each dress they try on, Daruka's confidence grows, her smile growing brighter with each twirl in front of the mirror.]
Faith: You look amazing, Daruka. Like a whole new person.
Daruka: [grinning] Thanks, Faith. I feel amazing too.
[As Daruka and Faith explore a bustling alleyway in Black City, their eyes darting from stall to stall, Daruka spots something glimmering on the ground.]
Daruka: Faith, look! What's that shiny thing over there?
[Curious, Faith follows Daruka's gaze and sees a small, gleaming stone nestled among the cobblestones.]
Faith: It looks like some kind of gemstone. Maybe someone dropped it?
Daruka: Let's take a closer look.
[As they approach the stone, Daruka's heart quickens with excitement. With trembling fingers, she picks up the gemstone and examines it closely.]
Daruka: This isn't just any gemstone, Faith. It's a Gengarite!
Faith: A Gengarite? What's that?
Daruka: It's a Mega Stone that allows Gengar to Mega Evolve into Mega Gengar, unlocking its full potential and power.
[Daruka's eyes sparkle with excitement as she realizes the significance of her discovery.]
Faith: That's incredible, Daruka! You should give it to your Gengar.
Daruka: Absolutely. This is a game-changer for us.
[With a sense of purpose, Daruka carefully tucks the Gengarite into her bag, her mind buzzing with possibilities.]
Daruka: Come on, let's go find Gengar and see how it likes its new Mega Stone.
[As they hurry off in search of Daruka's Gengar, Faith can't help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of witnessing her sister's Pokémon reach new heights of power and potential.]
Sharon: Hey, kiddos, enjoying the flea market?
Daruka: You bet we are, Mom. Plus, as a bonus, Faith and I are finally getting along after 20 years.
Sharon: You two have fun now, you hear?
Faith and Daruka: 'Kay, Mom!
Sharon: Now if you don't mind, I'm going to look at some chocolates.
[In a secluded corner of Black City, Daruka stands with her Gengar, holding up the newly-found Gengarite with a wicked grin on her face. Faith watches her sister, her expression a mixture of curiosity and concern.]
Faith: Daruka, what's going on? Why are you laughing like that?
[Daruka's laughter echoes through the alleyway, sending shivers down Faith's spine.]
Daruka: Oh, Faith, if only you knew the power that lies within this little stone.
[She holds up the Gengarite, her eyes gleaming with a dangerous intensity.]
Daruka: With this Mega Stone, my Gengar will become unstoppable. Together, we will conquer everything in our path.
[Faith's eyes widen in shock as she takes in her sister's words.]
Faith: Daruka, what are you saying? You can't use that stone for... for evil purposes!
[But Daruka's laughter only grows louder, her grip on the Gengarite tightening with each passing moment.]
Daruka: Oh, but I can, Faith. And I will. The world will tremble at the sight of my Mega Gengar, and there's nothing anyone can do to stop me.
(Faith gasps in shock.)
(Back at the academy…)
Professor Sada: Faith, you're home early.
Faith: Professor Sada, you don't understand. My sister Daruka is evil! She found this Gengarite at the Black City Fleamarket that could destroy the entirety of the universe!
Professor Sada: You worry too much, sweetheart.
Faith: Oh, I'm not worried about that. Just you wait and you'll see that Daruka's evil.
Professor Sada: You know, maybe you can make something sweet for Daruka, something like chocolate cupcakes.
Faith: Well, Daruka does have my sweet tooth. Why the heck not?
{Faith stands beside her mother, Sharon, wearing a baking short-sleeved dress and a crisp white apron. Together, they prepare to make a batch of chocolate cupcakes, the warm scent of cocoa filling the air.]
Faith: Mom, I'm so excited to bake these cupcakes with you!
Sharon: Me too, sweetheart. Baking together always brings back such fond memories.
[As they gather the ingredients and preheat the oven, Faith can't help but feel a sense of comfort and contentment wash over her.]
Faith: Remember when we used to bake together for family gatherings? It was always so much fun.
Sharon: Yes, those were special times indeed. And now, we get to create new memories together.
[With flour dusting their hands and chocolate batter clinging to the mixing bowl, Faith and Sharon work side by side, their laughter filling the kitchen.]
Faith: Mom, do you think Daruka will join us for baking sometime?
Sharon: I hope so, sweetheart. It would be wonderful to have all my girls together in the kitchen again.
[As they spoon the batter into the cupcake liners and slide the tray into the oven, Faith can't help but feel a sense of gratitude for these moments with her mother.]
Faith: Mom, thank you for teaching me how to bake. It's something I'll always cherish.
Sharon: And thank you for being such a wonderful baking partner, Faith. Now, let's make these cupcakes extra special!
Faith: Now to put these in the fridge tomorrow and share them with Daruka.
(The next morning…)
Rigby: [in a conga line with Mordecai] We're on summer br-eak! We're on summer br-eak!
Faith: What's with the conga line, boys?
Mordecai: [wearing a short-sleeved unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt and orange floral-print swim shorts] Since Rigby and I are finally on Summer Break, we're doing a conga line.
(King Conga – SpongeBob OST)
Faith: Okay, who brought a trio of Krabby from the Ocean Biome?
Rigby: [raises his hand in embarrassment]
Faith: Anyways, I'm going outside with Daruka. Catch you guys in a bit!
Rigby: Okay! [sings to the conga beat] We're on summer br-eak! We're on summer br-eak!
[In the tranquil expanse of White Forest, Faith walks alone among the towering trees, their leaves whispering secrets in the gentle breeze. The air is filled with a sense of peace and serenity, wrapping around Faith like a comforting embrace.]
Faith: [whispering to herself] It's been too long since I've been here.
[Lost in her thoughts, Faith wanders deeper into the forest, the soft crunch of leaves beneath her feet the only sound breaking the stillness.]
Faith: This place always brings me such peace.
[As she continues her solitary journey, Faith's mind drifts to memories of days spent exploring White Forest with her sister, Daruka.]
Faith: Daruka loved coming here too. We used to spend hours playing among the trees, imagining ourselves on grand adventures.
[But as the memories flood back, so too does the pain of their fractured relationship.]
Faith: I miss her... I miss having my sister by my side.
[Lost in her reverie, Faith fails to notice the figure standing among the trees until she hears a familiar voice calling out to her.]
Daruka: Faith?
[Startled, Faith turns to see Daruka standing before her, a soft smile on her lips.]
Faith: Daruka... what are you doing here?
Daruka: I came to find you. I've missed you, Faith.
[As they embrace, the weight of their shared history melts away, replaced by a sense of reunion and forgiveness.]
Faith: I've missed you too, Daruka. I'm sorry for everything that happened between us.
Daruka: It's okay, Faith. We're sisters, and nothing can ever change that.
[As Faith and Daruka wander through the serene beauty of White Forest, their laughter filling the air, they stumble upon a quaint clearing bathed in dappled sunlight.]
Faith: Wow, Daruka, look at this place! It's like something out of a fairy tale.
Daruka: It's beautiful, Faith. And so peaceful.
[Their eyes light up as they spot a makeshift picnic spread out on a nearby blanket, adorned with freshly baked cupcakes and an assortment of berries Daruka had gathered earlier.]
Faith: Oh, Daruka, did you set this up for us? It's perfect!
Daruka: I wanted to surprise you, Faith. I thought it would be nice to enjoy a little snack together.
[As they settle down to enjoy their impromptu picnic, their laughter fades into contented murmurs as they savor the sweet treats and each other's company.]
Faith: These cupcakes are delicious, Daruka. You're a fantastic baker.
Daruka: Thanks, Faith. But I can't take all the credit. These berries you found are the perfect addition.
[Suddenly, their peaceful moment is interrupted by a rustling in the bushes nearby. They watch in surprise as a mischievous Greedent emerges, its eyes fixed greedily on the cupcakes and berries.]
Daruka: Hey, what do you think you're doing?
Faith: That's my cupcake!
[But before they can react, the Greedent snatches up one of the cupcakes and begins stuffing its cheeks with the stolen treat, crumbs cascading to the ground.]
Daruka: Who was that Pokémon? [pulls out her Rotom Phone and types in the Pokémon's name]
[Daruka's Rotom Phone chimes]
Daruka's Rotom Phone: "Greedent, the Greedy Pokémon. A Normal type. Greedent uses its long tail to store the Berries it finds in the forest, but they usually fall out as it runs off with them. Its teeth are strong enough to open even the toughest of berry shells."
(Trick House – Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald OST)
Faith: Pidove, help us find that Greedent!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Pidove: Dove!
Faith: Be careful out there, Pidove. We're counting on you.
[As Faith and Daruka watch anxiously, Pidove disappears into the dense foliage of White Forest, disappearing from view as it embarks on its mission.]
Daruka: I hope Pidove can find that Greedent quickly.
Faith: Me too, Daruka. But I trust Pidove to get the job done.
[Minutes pass, the tension mounting with each passing second. Just as Faith begins to worry that Pidove won't return, a familiar figure emerges from the shadows of the forest, clutching a bundle of stolen treats in its paws.]
Faith: Pidove, you did it!
[With a triumphant cry, Pidove lands gracefully at Faith's feet, dropping the stolen cupcakes and berries at her feet.]
Faith: Thank you, Pidove. You're amazing.
[As Faith gathers up the recovered treats, a sense of relief washes over her. With Pidove by her side, there's nothing they can't accomplish together.]
Daruka: Looks like our picnic is saved, thanks to Pidove.
Faith: Absolutely. Let's head back and enjoy our snacks, shall we?
[As Faith and Daruka sit together in a quiet corner of White Forest, a somber mood hangs in the air. Daruka's eyes are distant, her expression troubled as she begins to open up to her sister about her painful past.]
Daruka: Faith, there's something I need to tell you. Something I've kept hidden for a long time.
Faith: What is it, Daruka? You can tell me anything.
[Taking a deep breath, Daruka gathers her thoughts before speaking, her voice barely above a whisper.]
Daruka: It's about our childhood... about what happened on my 16th birthday.
[Suddenly, the scene shifts, and Faith finds herself transported back in time to October 30th, 2020. She watches in silence as a younger Daruka stands before her family, her eyes brimming with hope and anticipation.]
Daruka (flashback): Mom, Dad... I know things haven't been easy between us, but I thought maybe, on my birthday, we could put aside our differences and come together as a family.
[But instead of warmth and acceptance, Daruka is met with icy stares and stony silence.]
Daruka's Father (flashback): You are no longer welcome in this house, Daruka. You are no longer a part of this family.
[Faith's heart sinks as she witnesses the heartbreaking scene unfold before her.]
Daruka (flashback): But... but why? What did I do wrong?
Tony: Your mother and I found something... something that we can't ignore. We can't have someone like you tarnishing our family's reputation.
[With trembling hands, Tony produces the incriminating letter from his pocket, thrusting it towards Daruka with a mixture of anger and disappointment.]
Tony: This... this is why. We found this in your room, Daruka. We trusted you, and you betrayed that trust.
Tony: Read it, Daruka. You need to understand why we're doing this.
[Daruka's hands tremble as she takes the letter from her father, her heart pounding in her chest. With a shaky breath, she unfolds the paper and begins to read, her eyes scanning the words written upon it with growing horror.]
Daruka (reading aloud): "To whom it may concern, I am writing to inform you of my intention to leave home and pursue my own path in life. I cannot continue to live under the suffocating expectations of my family any longer..."
[As the truth of the letter sinks in, Daruka's world begins to crumble around her.]
Daruka: Dad, this... this isn't what it looks like. I didn't write this letter.
Tony: Save your lies, Daruka. We found it in your room, signed with your name.
[Daruka's protests fall on deaf ears as Tony turns away, his heart heavy with the weight of his decision.]
Tony: I'm sorry, Daruka. But you've made your choice, and now you have to live with the consequences.
[With tears streaming down her face, Daruka watches helplessly as her father leaves her room, her world spinning out of control.]
[Alone and shattered, Daruka clutches the letter to her chest, her heart torn between the pain of betrayal and the desperate hope of redemption.]
Daruka: And that was when that damn Jolteon disowned me. [crying]
[As the rain pours down in a relentless torrent, Daruka stands on the doorstep of her family home, her suitcase clutched tightly in her trembling hands. With each droplet that falls from the sky, a heavy weight settles in her chest, crushing her beneath the weight of her shattered dreams.]
[With a deep breath, Daruka steps out into the storm, the cold rain soaking through her clothes and chilling her to the bone. As she walks away from the only home she has ever known, the world around her blurs into a haze of tears and despair.]
[Pulling out her phone from her pocket, Daruka scrolls through her playlist until she finds the perfect song to match the melancholy of her heart. With a shaky hand, she presses play, the haunting melody of "The Sound of Silence" by Disturbed filling her ears and echoing the emptiness of her soul.]
[As the music washes over her, Daruka's steps falter, her resolve weakening with each haunting note. She sinks to her knees in the mud, her tears mingling with the rain as she lets the sorrow consume her.]
[Lost in the depths of her despair, Daruka clings to the music like a lifeline, allowing it to carry her away on a tide of melancholy and regret. And as the rain continues to fall, she finds solace in the cathartic release of her tears, knowing that sometimes, even in the darkest of storms, there is beauty to be found in the sound of silence.]
Daruka: [voice-over] Everything sucked, until that one day, when I rented an apartment in Castelia City.
[As she trudges through the downpour, Daruka's eyes catch sight of a modest apartment building nestled among the bustling cityscape. With a glimmer of hope flickering in her chest, she makes her way towards the entrance, the warmth of the lobby a stark contrast to the chill of the storm outside.]
[Inside, Daruka is greeted by a friendly landlord who shows her to a cozy apartment on the top floor. As she steps inside, she feels a sense of peace wash over her, the space offering a refuge from the chaos of her past.]
Landlord: Here you go, Miss. It's a good one, recently renovated, and pest-free.
Daruka: Thank you so much. It's perfect.
(Daruka is seen back in the present day, where she feels sad.)
Daruka: Now that my life sucks, I had no other choice but to get revenge on you, Miss Faith.
Faith: Why me?!
Daruka: You're the one with all the new technology and all the technology I have is from the year 2010, not 2024. This stuff expired 14 years ago! And now that I'm pretending to be nice to you, you're gonna pay!
Daruka: You should have known better than to cross me, Faith.
[With a flick of her wrist, Daruka releases her Pokémon, and in a flash of light, Deoxys materializes before them, its alien form looming over Faith with an ominous presence.]
Faith: Daruka, what are you doing? This isn't you!
[But Daruka's gaze remains cold and unyielding as she commands her Pokémon to attack, her lips curling into a cruel smirk.]
Daruka: Deoxys, use Confusion on her.
[With a telepathic command, Deoxys unleashes a barrage of psychic energy, enveloping Faith in a whirlwind of confusion and torment. Helpless against the onslaught, Faith staggers backward, her mind reeling from the onslaught of psychic power.]
Faith: Daruka, please... stop this!
[But Daruka's laughter rings out like a discordant melody, drowning out Faith's pleas as she revels in the chaos she has wrought.]
Daruka: It's too late for that, Faith. You should have stayed out of my way.
[As Faith struggles to regain her bearings, Daruka watches with a twisted sense of satisfaction, her heart consumed by a darkness she never knew existed within her.]
Faith: Who… am I?
("Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
Faith and Daruka: Who's that Pokémon?!
(A silhouette shows a picture of an alien-like Pokémon.)
…
(Moments later, the Pokémon was revealed to be Deoxys.)
Faith and Daruka: It's… Deoxys!
Deoxys: [beeping] Deoxys!
(End of "Who's that Pokémon?" segment)
[As the chaos subsides and Daruka's Deoxys fades back into its Poké Ball, leaving Faith slumped on the floor, dazed and disoriented, a sudden gust of wind heralds the arrival of Mordecai atop his majestic Corviknight.]
Mordecai: Faith! What happened here?
[With a look of concern etched across his face, Mordecai rushes to Faith's side, his heart sinking at the sight of her vacant expression.]
Daruka: It seems your girlfriend has forgotten who she is. How unfortunate.
[Daruka's voice drips with mockery as she watches Mordecai's frantic attempts to rouse Faith from her stupor. But Mordecai pays her no mind, his focus solely on the girl he loves.]
Mordecai: Faith, can you hear me? It's Mordecai. Please, you have to wake up.
[But Faith remains unresponsive, her mind shrouded in a fog of confusion and uncertainty. Desperate to help her, Mordecai turns to Daruka with pleading eyes.]
Mordecai: Daruka, do you know what happened to her? Is there anything you can do to help?
[Daruka's expression softens for a brief moment, a flicker of remorse crossing her features before she quickly masks it with a cold facade.]
Daruka: I... I don't know, Mordecai. This wasn't supposed to happen.
[As Mordecai cradles Faith's limp form in his arms, a sense of helplessness washes over him, his heart heavy with the weight of her pain.]
Mordecai: We need to get her help. We can't just leave her like this.
[As Mordecai and Faith arrive at the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy rushes forward to meet them, her expression a mix of concern and determination.]
Nurse Joy: What happened? Is she alright?
[Mordecai gently lays Faith down on one of the beds, his heart aching as he watches her still form.]
Mordecai: She's... she's not herself. Something happened, and now she... she can't remember anything.
[Nurse Joy nods solemnly as she begins to examine Faith, her skilled hands moving with practiced precision.]
Nurse Joy: I see... It sounds like she's suffering from amnesia. It's not uncommon after a traumatic experience.
[As Nurse Joy continues her examination, Mordecai's anxiety grows with each passing moment, his thoughts consumed by the fear of losing Faith forever.]
Mordecai: Will she be okay? Is there anything you can do to help her?
[Nurse Joy offers Mordecai a reassuring smile, her voice gentle and reassuring.]
Nurse Joy: We'll do everything we can to help her recover her memories. Sometimes, all it takes is time and patience.
[As Nurse Joy tends to Faith with care and compassion, Mordecai takes a seat beside her bed, his hand reaching out to grasp hers in a silent gesture of support.]
Mordecai: Hang in there, Faith. We'll get through this together.
[Faith's voice trembles as she speaks, her eyes wide with fear and confusion.]
Faith: Daruka... she... she tried to kill me.
[Mordecai's heart clenches with a mixture of disbelief and horror at Faith's words.]
Mordecai: What do you mean, Faith? What happened?
[Nurse Joy's expression darkens with concern as she listens to Faith's words, her hands hovering over her patient with a sense of urgency.]
Nurse Joy: We need to contact the authorities. This is serious.
[As Nurse Joy hurries to alert the proper authorities, Mordecai leans in close to Faith, his voice gentle but urgent.]
Mordecai: Faith, you're safe now. Whatever happened, we'll figure it out together. You're not alone.
[But even as Mordecai's words offer a glimmer of comfort, Faith's eyes remain haunted by the memory of Daruka's betrayal, her body trembling with the weight of her fear.]
Faith: I don't know what to do, Mordecai. I'm so scared.
[Outside the Pokémon Center, the flashing lights of Officer Jenny's patrol car cut through the darkness as she and her trusty Arcanine approach, their expressions solemn and determined.]
Officer Jenny: Daruka Miller, you are under arrest for attempted murder and assault. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
[Daruka's eyes widen in shock as Officer Jenny and her Arcanine move in to apprehend her, her hands trembling with a mixture of fear and defiance.]
Daruka: This... this isn't fair! I didn't do anything wrong!
[But Officer Jenny remains steadfast, her gaze unwavering as she places Daruka in handcuffs and leads her towards the waiting patrol car.]
Officer Jenny: Tell it to the judge, Daruka. The evidence speaks for itself.
[As Daruka is escorted away, her protests fading into the night, Faith watches with a mixture of relief and sorrow, her heart heavy with the weight of what could have been.]
Faith: Daruka... I'm sorry.
[But Daruka's only response is a defiant glare as she struggles against the grip of the officer's hands, her voice laced with bitterness and resentment.]
Daruka: And I would've gotten away with ruling the world, if it weren't for you meddling Pokémon Trainers!
[With those words hanging in the air like a dark cloud, Daruka is led away into the night, leaving Faith to grapple with the aftermath of their fractured relationship and the harsh reality of the consequences that await her sister.]
[As the dust settles and the chaos of the night fades into memory, Mordecai finds himself sitting beside Faith's bed in the Pokémon Center, a heavy silence hanging between them.]
Mordecai: Faith, I'm just glad everything's back to normal... well, as normal as it can be after everything that's happened.
[Faith nods, her eyes reflecting the turmoil of her thoughts as she searches for answers in the depths of her memories.]
Faith: Me too, Mordecai. But I still can't shake this feeling... like I'm missing a piece of myself.
[Mordecai reaches out to take Faith's hand in his, his touch a silent reassurance of his unwavering support.]
Mordecai: We'll figure it out together, Faith. Whatever it takes.
[But even as he speaks the words, Mordecai can't shake the gnawing uncertainty in the pit of his stomach, the knowledge that there are still unanswered questions lingering in the shadows.]
Mordecai: Lexie's final battle against Daruka... maybe that's where we'll find the answers we're looking for.
[Faith's eyes light up with a glimmer of hope as she considers Mordecai's words, a renewed sense of determination sparking within her.]
Faith: You might be right, Mordecai. Maybe that's exactly what we need.
Narrator: With a shared resolve to confront the challenges that lie ahead, Mordecai and Faith cling to each other's strength, knowing that no matter what trials may come, their love will be the guiding light that leads them through the darkness. Stay tuned to find out how Faith can restore her memories back, as the journey continues!
