A small feline hopped out of a portal near the edge of the town. It shook its body before scratching one of its ears. It then looked around before heading off into Amity Park. It slips through many things, not having to worry about the people. It was night and most of them were asleep. It ran through the town, finally finding the place it sought—the Morningstar Mansion.
"Keow." It said, slipping through the gates.
It ran up to the door before noticing that the door was locked. It jumps up and transforms itself into a key. it unlocked the door before it opened a tiny bit. The key removed itself before turning back into its feline form. It slipped in as the door shut. It then ran through the mansion, trying to find its owner. It finally stopped at Charlie's bedroom door before looking at it.
"Keow."
The door opened before it slipped through. It spotted Charlie asleep on her bed and jumped on it. It walked up to her before rubbing her face. Charlie didn't wake before she thought it was Razzle or Dazzle and petted the cat.
Seeing that she wasn't going to wake up. The feline moves to Charie's side, lying down before closing its eye.
"Keow."
Morning,
Charlie yawns as the sun hits her face. She wanted to sleep in but was unable to. Charlie groans, knowing it is the weekend. She felt something on her chest and groaned.
Razzle, Dazzle, not now. It's too early." She said.
"Keow."
Charlie blinks before looking down. She was surprised to see a black and white cat sitting on her. It had white spots on the tip of its ears and tail. It also had a single eye on its face. Charlie felt her powers act up a little, letting her know that this cat was not a normal one.
"Where did you come from?" She asked.
"Keow." It said before jumping off of Charlie.
She looked down before the cat meowed again. She climbs out of bed before spotting the red collar it was wearing.
"KeeKee." She read.
"Keow." It said.
"Where did you come from?" Charlie asked.
She was surprised when KeeKee jumped on her shoulder before rubbing her cheek, purring. Charlie smiles before giving it a scratch under its chin.
"Well, I guess I have to tell Dad about..." She started.
Suddenly, she watched as KeeKee jumped off of her shoulder and turned into a key that she caught. Charlie blinks, surprised.
"Wow. You must be no normal cat." She said, looking at the small black key.
She then set it down, seeing it transform back into its feline form.
"Keow." It said.
"Alright, alright. You can stay. But I still have to tell my Dad about you." Charlie said, shaking her head.
'I hope this doesn't turn out like with Cujo.' Charlie thought.
Later,
Charlie told her dad about the cat she found in her room and Lucifer knew who it was from. He told her that she can keep it and remind her to take good care of it. Charlie was surprised, but she did agree to it. She then had to meet up with Danny and Emily and Keekee remained on her shoulders, lying across them. She walked through the town, many people telling her she had a lovely cat. A few kids even got to pet her. Charlie smiles, finding it odd that no one noticed that KeeKee had one eye. She finally spotted Danny and Emily, and Danny was holding Cujo, while Valerie chased after them.
"Not again." Charlie groans, running into a nearby alley.
She bit into her apple and turned into her demon form. She rushed out and followed after the three. She ran under Valerie, punching the board. While she did fall off, the punch made her lose her balance before crashing into a tree. Charlie then runs up to Danny and Emily, who notices Valerie crashing.
"Thanks, Charlie," Danny said, sighing.
"What's Cujo doing here?" Charlie asked.
"Not sure. Just found him at the foot of my bed this morning. I had to make sure my parents didn't see him when I was trying to get him to go back to the Ghost Zone." Danny said.
"He seemed to slip through Danny's hands and Danny called me to help him. We were thinking about calling you for help when Valerie attacked. Again." Emily added.
"I swear to god that girl needs to stop looking at one side of the coin." Charlie groans.
"Um, Charlie? What's with the cat?" Danny asked.
Charlie blinks before seeing that KeeKee is still on her shoulders.
"Oh, right. I found her in my bed this morning. Dad is letting us keep her. Her name is KeeKee." Charlie said, petting the cat.
"Keow." She said.
"Keow?" Danny asked, knowing that cats say Meow.
"Can I pet her?" Emily asked.
"She seems not to mind. A few kids were able to." Emily said.
Emily moved closer before holding up her hand. KeeKee presses her head into her hand and Emily smiles. She pets the cat before Charlie turns to Danny.
"What are you going to do with Cujo?" She asked.
"Take him back to the Ghost Zone. Unlike you, Charlie, I can't keep him because my parents would blast him. Even more so should he turn into his bigger form." Danny told her.
"I said it before, and I'll say it again, You should keep him," Emily said.
"I wish I could, Em." Danny sighs.
"Bark!"
"Keow."
Everyone looked to see Cujo and KeeKee sitting on the ground, surprising them.
"Wait, aren't cats supposed to be afraid of dogs?" Danny asked.
"Maybe it's because they are not a normal cat and dog?" Emily asked.
"Well, Cujo is a ghost and my powers acted up around KeeKee this morning," Charlie said.
The three watched them, wishing they understood what they were saying.
Cujo's and KeeKee's POV,
"Hi there! Nice to meet you! Want to play?"
"Calm yourself. My mistress wouldn't rather not have me hurt."
Cujo blinks, looking confused.
"Heehee! Got ya! I'm not one of those stuck-up cats. I'm KeeKee." She said.
"I don't remember my name, but new friends call me Cujo." He said.
"You look different from most dogs," KeeKee said.
"Was a guard dog. Now I'm like this. Like new friends, they're fun! Help me find toy!" Cujo said, panting.
"You're a bit weird, but so am I," KeeKee said, rubbing her tail under Cujo.
Normal POV,
The three watched as KeeKee rubbed her tail under Cujo's chin, seeing they were getting along. Emily suddenly sighs, making Charlie and Danny turn to her.
"Are you okay, Em?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, just feeling a bit left out." She said.
"What do you mean?" Charlie asked.
"Well, think about it. Cujo hangs around Danny whenever he comes to Earth. And then you showed up with a cat. I feel like you two have pets when I don't." She said.
"Well, Cujo isn't really mine, actually." Danny pointed out.
"Even so," Emily said, sighing.
"It's okay, Emily. I'm sure that you would get a pet if you ask Sera." Charlie said.
"I doubt that," Emily said, sighing.
With Sera,
"Achoo!"
"Are you alright, Mrs. Seraphim?"
"I'm fine. And it's MS. Seraphim! I'm not married!"
Back with the three,
The three heard a groan and saw that Valerie was waking up.
"Come on, we better go," Danny said, knowing she wasn't in the mood to talk.
"I got Charlie," Emily said, making Danny nod.
They soon picked up Cujo and KeeKee before Charlie placed her arm around Emily. They flew away before Valerie could collect herself.
Later,
Danny, Charlie, and Emily walk through the park in their human forms. Keeke was resting on Charlie's shoulders as Danny used the fishing line from his Dad's Fenton Fishing Pole to keep Cujo from running off.
"I wonder what Sam would think if she learned you had a cat," Danny said, thinking.
"No doubt she'll think I'm mistreating her with how I'm letting her lay on me like an animal scarf," Charlie said, making Emily nod in agreement.
"Yeah," Danny said, sighing.
He wanted to be friends with Sam but with how she treated Charlie and Emily, becoming friends was almost impossible. It's like she wants to be enemies with everyone.
"Oh, that reminds me. How did Vaggie take the...you know?" Danny asked Charlie.
"Oh, well..." Charlie said, blushing a bit.
She didn't want anything bad to happen between her and Vaggie and she told Vaggie about her kiss with Danny. She made to let her know that she kissed him but Vaggie told her it was fine.
"She's not upset by it. She told me that you deserved it after everything you did for me." She said.
"Really? That's good, I think." Danny said, sighing.
Emily could only giggle, knowing that Vaggie was truly fine with the kiss. They kept walking until they saw Dash and Paulina.
"And here comes the King and Queen of Casper High." Charlie groans.
"In all their royal stupidness," Danny said, making the girls giggle.
"I heard that, Fenton!" Dash said, marching up.
"Get lost, Dash," Emily said, crossing her arms.
"Yeah. Danny is ten times the man you will ever be! Actually, I would rather date any of those ten men instead of you." Charlie said.
Dash looked shocked before turning to Danny.
"This is your fault, Fenton!" He shouted, looking ready to hurt him.
"BARK!"
Dash spotted when he saw Cujo growling at him but not changing.
"You have a dog?" He asked.
"I'm dogsitting for a friend. Not that you care." Danny said, rolling his eyes.
"Yeack! What is that on your shoulders?" Paulina asked, pointing to KeeKee.
"My cat. I just adopted her." Charlie said, rolling her eyes.
"That's a cat? Please, a skunk fits you more. After all, you both carry the same smell." Paulina said, making Charlie glare at her.
KeeKee hissed at Paulina, making her jump back.
"Well, seems that even KeeKee knows the type of person you are." Charlie smiles.
Danny looks at Dash, showing no fear to his bully. Danny was no longer the person that Dash used two years ago. He was a new person and he promised Charlie and Emily will would never go back to being that person.
"Get lost, Dash. Charlie and Emily are hanging out with me because they're my friends. Friends that don't care about how much money they have." Danny said, making sure that Cujo didn't change.
"Same to you, Paulina," Charlie said with KeeKee still hissing at her.
Dash glares at Danny before walking away. Paulina scoffs before walking away as well. She also pulled out her phone and texted Vevlet. The three sighed as Cujo and KeeKee looked at them.
"They're never going to stop, are they?" Emily asked.
"Nope. Not unless someone takes down the A-Listers." Danny said, shaking his head.
"Well, that might happen sooner than everyone thinks," Charlie said, petting KeeKee.
"What's your Dad up to?" Emily asked.
"Sorry, but he refuses to tell me," Charlie said, sighing.
"Well, if it knocks the false King and Queen off their thrones, I'm all for it," Danny said.
"Ditto." The girls said.
With that, the three continued their watch, not seeing a white dove looking at Emily. It chips before following the three.
And ending this chapter here. And look at this, I brought in Charlie'spet cat. Something I NEVER knew she had, mostly because I didn't watch the first season. But when I saw the images, I thought KeeKee was a gift to Charlie from her Dad, only to learn that she always had her. Hell, I had no idea that KeeKee was the key to the Hotel.
Anyway, I brought KeeKee in and even brought back Cujo. And it seems that they are getting along well. And Emily will get a pet herself. And no, it won't be a Kola. I saw those images as well and had a pretty strong feeling it was from the episode where Charlie and Vaggie went to Heaven. But I thought that a dove would fit better for her since doves are important in the Bible. Remember Noah's Ark? I'll bring the dove in the next chapter. But what should it be named? Oh, and KeeKee's Meow is not misspelled. I wrote it that way because she is a demon cat, I think.
I might write a chapter that covers the Pets of the Trinty at some point. That also sounds like a story title, but I don't think I'll be writing that.
