"What you do matters, and how you do it matters."
Later on that day
"Brooke. How amazing was Luke. The town can't get enough of him." Audrey said.
"What are you doing here?" Audrey asked.
"I came to see you and talk. Woman to woman."
"I know that you worked with Lucas on that second book. Which went well. But for this final book he's planning. You aren't needed."
"Lucas doesn't want to hurt you're feelings so i'll do it." Brooke proclaimed.
"Brooke i'm really confused." Audrey replied.
Brooke glared at her. "You must think i'm naive and clueless."
"But i'm far from it."
"He's a man. Who doesn't see the signals and is able to read between the lines. Yet i can and do."
"You're emotionally invested in him. You're attracted to him."
"Which is understable. But a fantasy in you're head is all that will ever be. A better woman would consider a married man off limits but i guess given you're upbringing its all you know."
"You were the product of an affair right?" Brooke questioned.
Audrey couldn't look Brooke in the eyes anymore.
"I know what looks like but you have nothing to worry about." Audrey replied.
Brooke locked in on Audrey. "I've been my husband for 17 years now. We have a life. A family. But women like you don't care about who get's affected by you're decisions as long as the man you desire gives in."
"I trust my husband you would of been fired long ago otherwise."
"Keep you're lips to yourself and close you're legs. Otherwise."
"You'll meet the bitch verison of me and she'll destroy you."
"Do we understand each other?" Brooke questioned.
"Yes Mrs. Scott." Audrey replied.
"Wonderful. Now you enjoy you're day." Brooke replied. Before leaving.
