So if you're just friends.
What exactly do you think you're doing.?
I went to work. I had too much going on to not stay focused.
I didn't reply back to her latest message and i blocked her number.
I planned to throw myself fully into my writing.
But as i entered my office. Audrey was there waiting for me.
"I really want and need to apologize. I let my feelings take over and i acted out. I shouldn't of sent those pictures. What i wrote in those messages."
"It was wrong. And i'm sorry." Audrey said.
"We're co workers. As long as we can be professional."
"We can move on from this." Lucas replied.
"Can i be honest? If life had brought us together at a different time. I think we would of had a chance to be more." Lucas said.
"Its too bad. She's lucky to have you. We can still be friends right?" Audrey questioned.
"We can be it'll be easier to work without tension." Lucas replied.
"Thank you." Audrey said. Hugging him lightly. Before leaving the office.
Lucas got on his computer and started to type.
By the time his work day had come to an end. He had completed a rough draft for the his third and final novel.
