"Daughters, oh daughters, they were special; they were God's way of saying "Here's a little best friend for you"
"Hi, Tami. Mommy's right here. It's okay now. You're in a better place, and everything is going to be okay. I'm sorry Mommy couldn't protect you the way she wanted to. I'm sorry that Mommy treated you like that. You'll always be Mommy's little girl. You're going to join Daddy now. "I can't wait for the moment when Daddy is finally able to be reunited with you. He's going to hold you in his arms, give you the warmest hug, kiss your forehead and tell you how incredibly beautiful and special you are. You're going to feel so loved and cherished in that moment. And Mommy is going to be there too, showering you with all the love she has for you. Tamara, you are such an amazing daughter, and I couldn't be more proud of you. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of my life."
Despite their frequent arguments and loud shouting matches, Tami and her mother shared a bond that could not be broken. As mother and daughter, they knew that no matter how heated their disagreements may become, they would always find their way back to each other. Despite their differences, their love and familial connection remained unbreakable.
Tami was a brat. She was a frustrating, insufferable rich girl of a brat, and everyone who came across her knew it.
Her mother spoiled her rotten, and even she was rotten to the core, yelling at customers for something so small. Everyone could feel it every time the two of them walked into school, into classes, or anywhere else, and her mother never defended her shitty actions.
But at the end of the day, her mother loved her.
Her mother would cuddle her whenever she felt sad. Tami felt loved whenever her mother read her stories.
Her mother seemed to her like a rock, never breaking despite the walls crumbling. Her mother loved her, despite the feeling that rocks were falling apart, walls were being broken, and glasses were being shattered.
Despite all of this, Tami's mother did everything she could to hold her daughter tightly before this awful tragic event split the two of them up.
Her mother broke down in tears when she saw Tami lying in a casket instead of a wedding dress, wedding cake all over her face, laughing with her husband, grieving for her daughter and the loss of their special relationship, hoping that she could fix..something she hoped, that hope was soon lost. A tragic event only strengthened the bond between mother and daughter and reminded them of the importance of family.
The funeral room was filled with the melancholic echoes of sorrowful weeping, elegant bouquets the colors of the sunset, the smells of vanilla, and sweets being handed out to guests, who were adorning the casket, and the haunting melody of violins in the background as friends and family gathered to honor their loved one. A palpable sense of sadness hung in the air, and the sight of Tami's peaceful form resting in the casket elicited a profound wave of anguish that felt almost too heavy to bear.
Tami's mother, overcome with sorrow, clung to her daughter's hand, desperately wishing for one more chance to hold her and tell her how much she loved her, how being with that man had hurt her too much.
"This is my fault. I broke her too much, I made her a horrible person, she was someone I wanted to be strong and witty, and now she's looking up at me, calling me a failure" Her mother cried in a small whisper, feeling the eyes of everyone on her, as she was suddenly hugged by her daughter's boyfriend, feeling his arms wrap around her, she was taken in by surprise.
"Thank you for bringing such a kind, loving, strong young girl into my life, and thank you for loving her.' Lee commented as Tami's mother wiped a tear from her face. Tami's mother smiled and nodded, her eyes still wet with tears filling in Lee's wide arms, as her face was buried deep, muffled cries could be heard. Lee put his arm around her and whispered, "It's going to be okay, everything will be alright, I'll be here. I love you." Tami's mother nodded and embraced him tightly.
"Thank you for being such a wonderful boyfriend to my daughter, Lee."
"I would've married her with rings made of sticks."
"I will love you at your lowest, at your most broken. I stare into the endless sky, sending my gratitude to the stars for guiding an angel like you to me. Each night and each morning, my heartfelt prayers are whispered, fervently hoping that you are the angel meant for me."
Lee was completely overwhelmed by a flood of emotions. The realization that Tami had passed away was absolutely gut-wrenching. He couldn't comprehend how such a tragic event could have occurred.
Lee was in love with Tami.
Lee loved Tami.
She loved him when she was 12,always chasing him around, always laughing and sitting next to him during lunch, and now he'll love her till the day he takes his final blow of a breath.
Tami's crush on Lee wasn't something that just popped up out of nowhere; the whole school knew, but when she wasn't being rude and picking on girls for being bigger, she was so loyal and supportive.
Tami's love language had always been giving back to those she cared the most about, so naturally, Tami became one of Lee's biggest supporters, standing by his side at every game and cheering him on with unwavering enthusiasm. She not only made sure he stayed hydrated with water bottles but also took the time to fill them up for him.
Tami was always asking the teachers if she could work with Lee, and they worked on every project together. Her willingness to work on projects together showed her genuine interest in him, smiling at him, fluttering her eyes at the teen. After they graduated from 8th grade, Tami got prettier over the summer, and her popularity soared, so finally, Lee walked up to her at a summer party, and when she agreed to be his girlfriend, Lee felt like the luckiest person in the world.
Their relationship made him feel like he was on cloud nine, and he often described Tami to his classmates, as his guardian angel.
Whenever he and Megan would fight, he's at Tami, ranting and ranting for hours trying to take his mind off of his stubborn sister. When he heard about what had happened to Tami, Lee was so mad that he almost drove himself off a cliff. Lee missed Tami so much, he didn't go to school for days. He felt like his heart was breaking in two, she was his other half, Tami was the candle that lit up wherever darkness arose, her aura was like a fresh breath of air, she was mean, and she was a bitch, but her being mean, it was a wall she used.
As stuck up as Tami was, thinking at just 16 years old, a 5'6 girl blonde cheerleader who pushes girls down flights of stairs who even breathed near Lee, was punching nerds and slamming people's heads into walls for being sexist to Megan and her, and was throwing water in the faces of assholes for being rude to Marc and Tony, wasn't the most threatening thing at their high school.
But in reality, she was a small little girl who hated when people didn't pay attention to her.
Tami hated getting hurt, she hated being used and abused, that was her weakness, and Lee climbed that wall so high, and hugged her when she was at her lowest.
Lee held Tami's lifeless hand, tears fell onto the soulless teenage girl's casket, she was more than a girlfriend. He was sure he would never be the same without her, and he knew Megan had some angry thoughts about Tami.
Lee squeezed onto Tami's lifeless hand one last time, his tears streaming down his face, his body shaking as he leaned down to her beautiful face to say one last thing to his girlfriend, the love of his life, he whispered, "I will never stop loving you, Tami. You were my light, my strength, and now that you're gone, I feel lost in a world without you. The pain in my heart is unbearable, and I can't help but blame myself for not protecting you from this tragedy."
"Love is the evil thing that was created; it sucks you mentally, physically, but most importantly, it hurts you emotionally, drains you suicidally. But at the same time, the warmest feeling is falling in love, friends, family, or just simply being in love, has a beautiful influence on people."
Marc wasn't that close to Tami, Tami was Lee's girlfriend, and Marc was Lee's little brother.
But, hearing that she died, broke something in him.
Tami, Megan, and Marc were going back home, grabbing 200 dollars of WingStop, during the drive home, Marc said something to Megan, annoying Tami, and she fell asleep. Before the car crash, Marc and Megan were arguing about something, Tami was fast asleep in the back, texting Lee she was going to be at the house soon when a drunk driver came and hit them, the twins survived, but Tami's soul sadly left, causing Marc to blame himself for losing his brother's girlfriend.
Marc stood beside Lee, his eyes filled with sorrow as he gazed at Tami's lifeless body, holding her blonde hair and crying over her mono-lids.
He couldn't help but blame himself for not being able to save her, as he had secretly loved her from afar, although they were in two different friend groups, Tami was still kind enough to play video games with him and Tony, hoping that one day he could be the one to bring light into her life. He hoped that nothing about Tami's death could ruin his relationship with his brother.
Marc walked over to Lee, knowing that his older brother mostly hated him right now, hell, Lee had always resented him, and right now Lee had every right to kill Marc, Marc was the driver, Marc well was yelling at Megan, Lee was angry at everyone, it wouldn't surprise Marc if Lee felt like he wanted to started punching marc, beating him into a bloody mess, calling him a murderer, then pulled a gun out and shot Marc, right then and there.
Killing him.
Marc's cheeks were drenched with tears, his pale face contorted with anguish. The pain of his fractured relationship with his own brother felt like a sharp gunshot to his heart, slowly draining the life out of him.
Taking a deep breath, Marc slowly approached his older brother Lee was tall and very buff, and his back was towards Marc, who was shaking on the inside. As Marc got closer and closer to his older brother, Lee turned his head, around to see Marc, with a sympathetic look on his face, tears on his face. Lee, who was wearing his hair in a slick back, a luxury tuxedo, as he was crying in the hallways, was being comforted by Jerry.
Marc took a deep breath before saying in a soft, honey like tone, tears in his voice, trying his hardest to not anger his older brother.
"Lee, she was like my best friend, my everything, even though I loved her, I want to put my feelings away for you, you loved her more than the galaxy could carry all of the stars, and she was the star that shined the most to you, Lee, I know you hate me now, but I just wanted to put my selfish, entitled, feelings aside, and make sure her passing will never come in the way of our brotherhood."
"I will never let something like a silly crush get in between us, Marc." Lee sobbed with a bit of laughter in his tone, as he hugged his little brother tightly, scaring Marc a bit, as Jerry went to comfort Megan.
"Marc, you will always come first to me. Tami's death has happened, yes, yes you liked her while I was dating her, but you are still my little brother, and, Marc, from every blood in my body and every vein in me, I will never let you feel this way, ever again."
Lee smiled as he rubbed Marc's head, putting the younger boy in a headlock before hugging him tightly.
"Although my resentment is enough to strangle a boar, the strength I will take within me to make sure that I will let you know that I will go into the afterlife, knowing that I apologize for my anger, for my hatred, and for all of my evil I have done to you"
Megan hated Tami. Tami hated Megan.
But one thing was for sure; they had always admired each other for different reasons.
Megan was in the feminist club, she was always starting crowds up, Megan was always getting in trouble defending herself from creepy guys in her class, and was always arguing with the principal about the dress code and how sexist and misogynist it was for underaged girls to not being able to wear what they wanted. Tami always heard complaint after complaint from the school, the kids called her all sorts of names, and the head of the school board was so irritated with Megan, saying how Megan was nothing like her amazing brothers, and how Megan was "too much". Tami always wondered to herself and to Lee what Megan's deal was, but Lee would just, shrug his shoulders, and say she was born like that.
Tami, on the other hand, was this, life of joy, a popular Asian girl who loved attention, was everyone's favorite, even the teachers liked her, you could tell from the way they praised her. Tami had crowds of people enjoying her company, Tami was loved, she was worshiped, she was seen as a princess who could do no wrong. Tami envied Megan's loner status and how she could just say anything she wanted and tiger people could praise her for her loudness, Tami saw Megan as pretty, she was the icon of the school who would throw pies at teachers for being racist to her, she envied the fact that people didn't seem to care about her as much, whereas people followed her around like she was a celebrity, annoying her. She wanted to be just like Megan, and she wanted to be able to get away with anything without other people looking at her weirdly dare she agree with what Megan said, she would've lost her social status completely, Tami wanted to be as free as Megan without losing what Tami worked hard for.
"You were always so elegant and fun to be around, Tami. Even though you have said hurtful things to me, I will always carry your grace and your wisdom with me." Megan whispered dearly into Tami's dead ear, before placing some forget-me-nots onto her hands, patting her cold, and walking away, while her girlfriend hugged her.
As the funeral service began to draw to a close, the four siblings gathered close to the gravesite where Tami had been laid to rest, taking a moment to reflect after everyone else had departed.
"Tami, thank you for being the coolest person we knew," Tony commented, his long black hair in a sleek half up, done by Megan as the wind blew by nicely, the clouds coming in dark and gloomy, the darkness of the sky brought some even more concluding comfort to the Clark teens.
"Tami, thank you for being someone I could befriend in life, thank you for using your amazing social powers to befriend a loser like me." Marc spoke next, his brown eyes resting on the burial where Tami was, placing lilies on her gravestone, hugging his older brother, who was next to speak, holding a small letter in his hand.
"Tami, my love for you knows no bounds. It reaches to the farthest corners of the earth and wraps around your heart, bringing you comfort and warmth. You will always feel the strength of my love, as it beats in sync with yours. Your presence in my life fills me with joy and gratitude. I eagerly anticipate the day we will reunite on the other side, for our love transcends time and space. Thank you for being my girlfriend, my love, and the heart that beats for you will be like a beautiful drum that plays."
"Lee, that was so sweet!" Megan spoke in a soft tone, as Lee placed the letter near the grave hugging all of his siblings one by one, but as it was Megan's turn, she was too nervous to talk.
What should she even say?
She took a deep breath, before walking near the grave.
"Tami, throughout all of the years I have know you, I would've never thought this day would come. I just wanted to t-tha-thank you for being someone who brought people to life, thank you for falling in love with my brother, thank you for using your amazing social skills to climb your way up, you were tough, brutal with the kids who were beneath you, used them as stepping stools, you were mean, but you were honest, kind, beautiful, and you and my brother shared many many beautiful, yes Tami you have said nasty things, did disgusting, unspeakable, things to me that will scar me, but I will never forget the day in lunch, when you tried to turn over a new leaf, which I always think to myself, to be a new person, you must forgive the people you have hurt. I will think of you as someone who was mature enough to change her nasty ways and tried to grow as a person, which makes me think of you as a flower; as you bloom, you become something beautiful, you change and re-think your ways in life., and that is one of your best qualities in life."
Megan started to tear up, everyone started to hold her, but she said one small sentence.
"Thank you for the dear memories you gave me and brothers, dear friend."
